8:39 Everybody
8:50 down.
9:21 Hey, happy 4th of July. We're feeling
9:23 festive. We've got to get our guys
9:24 looking right. 15-second blind makeup
9:27 competition. Maddie for Michael. What do
9:29 you want to start with? 7 seconds with
9:30 poll.
9:30 >> Glitter first for sure.
9:31 >> Three, two, one, go.
9:34 >> Oh, you're looking Cam, you have never
9:36 looked this good in your life, my
9:37 friend.
9:38 >> Switch. Switch. Switch.
9:39 >> Okay. Okay. Glitter. Yep. All right.
9:41 Michael's gonna be hanging out at the
9:42 beach, so we got to really just, you
9:44 know, bronze them up for being beach
9:46 side. You guys are looking great. Okay.
9:50 Take your blindfolds off.
9:53 Wow, you look good. Will you marry me?
10:07 >> Happy 4th of July and happy 250th
10:10 birthday to the beautiful United States
10:12 of America. Where else would you rather
10:14 be but right here in virtual banana land
10:17 to celebrate? It's a rubber match
10:18 between the 20 and 19 Loco Beach
10:20 Coconuts and the 15 and 23 Indianapolis
10:23 Clowns right here at Vicear Ballpark in
10:26 the Sunshine State. It's Jacksonville,
10:28 Florida. Tails are wagging, smiles are
10:30 good, vibes are high, and it's Coconuts
10:33 Clowns, the two youngest teams in the
10:34 league, ready to do battle once more
10:37 ahead of the twoe break.
10:39 Hey, welcome to the beach. I'm AJ Switec
10:42 alongside my good friend, my newest
10:44 compadre, Cam Stewart. Cam, before we
10:46 get to the nitty-gritty, dude, I thought
10:48 I killed it. What happened to the
10:49 makeup?
10:50 >> I just Look, it was hot out here. Hot on
10:53 the beach. I sweat it all out, man. We
10:55 working hard this weekend.
10:56 >> Well, you talk about hot.
10:58 >> That's one way to put it.
11:00 >> You also could talk about fireworks.
11:02 That's another way to put it. Since it's
11:03 the 4th of July, I'm going to choose the
11:04 latter. But how about last night deep
11:07 into the game, you see eight innings
11:09 with points and it's 4-4. We go to the
11:12 ninth. Cam, that was bananal. That's
11:15 your welcome to the show.
11:16 >> I mean, we brought the fireworks a
11:18 little bit early here in the Fourth of
11:19 July weekend and specifically that final
11:21 inning. The Clowns work their way back
11:23 to tie it after the eighth and then five
11:26 runs in the final inning, which here in
11:28 virtual banana land means five points in
11:31 the final inning. It came right down to
11:33 the wire. We had home runs to lead off
11:35 both halves of the inning. I mean, you
11:37 talked about the comeback coconuts. We
11:39 had the cardiac clowns. It all had our
11:42 hearts stopping last night. And I'll
11:43 tell you what, that's not just in
11:44 virtual Banana Land. It's in real Banana
11:46 Land as well. So, without further ado,
11:48 let's look at what happened last night
11:50 because it still has my heart pounding.
11:52 It still has my blood flowing at an
11:54 unhealthy rate. And it's because the
11:56 Coconuts started off the game on a tear.
11:58 How about a walk-off in the first inning
12:00 from Tanner Allen. It wouldn't stop
12:01 there. The Coconuts come up in the
12:03 second inning. They secure another point
12:05 because Zack Smith went six up, six
12:08 down. Two perfect innings with three
12:09 strikeouts. But we segue to the fourth.
12:11 Carell Prime, no play at the plate. This
12:14 led to a clown's point. So, you're
12:16 getting a little bit of the sense here.
12:17 We're going back and forth and back and
12:21 forth. Now, it's a 4-2 Coconuts lead
12:23 after this ball force sprint bought in
12:25 Tanner Allen. So, the Clowns have to
12:27 play from behind. They did just that.
12:29 Jaylen Vasquez big time bomb to right.
12:32 >> It was a struggle all weekend. 0 for 16
12:34 with runners in scoring position until
12:36 that moment. Jaylen Vasquez off the
12:39 bench with the big fly, his third of the
12:41 year. And Nick Wilson perfect in the
12:44 seventh and eight. He secures that game
12:46 tying point. It's his time late in the
12:49 ball game. But the Clowns still with
12:51 some work to do. Final inning. Every
12:53 point is a run. Every run is a point. CJ
12:56 Williams public enemy number one. Pitch
12:58 number one. Joe Lidle. Home run number
13:01 one. And what a time to get it. The
13:04 Clowns have their first lead of the
13:06 series, but they are not done there.
13:08 Nico Hollesizer pulls one down the left
13:10 field line. Flash the kid comes around
13:12 to score. Suddenly the Clowns got
13:14 insurance. And the best part about
13:16 insurance is just getting more
13:17 insurance. Eli Payton goes down the
13:19 other line and that is going to bring
13:21 home Nicolesizer 7 to four. And they're
13:24 feeling cushy here.
13:25 >> But you don't get the nickname the
13:26 comeback coconuts for nothing. You get
13:28 deja vu. That pitch was well low of the
13:30 zone. But Tanner Allen much like the top
13:32 of the ninth inning. Started with the
13:33 very first pitch leaving the yard. This
13:35 one went to right field and now we're
13:36 within two. But Nick Wilson, he gets the
13:39 last laugh. Gamewinning run on second
13:41 base, tying run on third. Wilson ensures
13:43 that the Clowns don't blow another save.
13:45 They've only blown one this season.
13:46 Wilson has looked dominant. It's been
13:48 perfect timing from the Clowns closer.
13:50 That sets up a rubber match tonight
13:52 between the Clowns and the Coconuts. But
13:54 last night, the big story, the go-ahead
13:56 home run in the ninth inning. First
13:58 homer for Joe Lidle here in 2026.
14:01 >> Yeah, he's been setting setting the pace
14:03 in so many categories this year on the
14:05 World Tour. One that he has to say
14:07 goodbye to going into last night. Had
14:09 the most RBI for any player without a
14:11 home run on tour. But what a way to get
14:13 it. Oppo Taco off arguably the best
14:16 closer in the league. The last month
14:17 it's been CJ Williams and Danny Hosley
14:19 neck and neck. That broken 0 for six for
14:22 Joe Lidle. Not many 0 for sixes this
14:24 season for the guy who's still hitting
14:25 over 400 and leading the tour in batting
14:28 average. That was the swing that finally
14:30 gave the Clowns the lead and it got
14:32 hairy, but they didn't look back after
14:34 that.
14:34 >> Well, Cam, we saw 16 runs last night.
14:36 And I can't predict the future
14:37 perfectly, but I'm going to tell you
14:38 what, with the pitchers we're seeing on
14:39 the mound today, I'm going to guess
14:41 that's not going to be the case. We have
14:42 the reigning pitcher of the month, Will
14:44 Ethridge, against David Griffin, the
14:46 Clowns presumably ace. Let's talk about
14:48 these June stats because they are
14:50 electrifying. What I want you to notice,
14:52 21 strikeouts to two ball four sprints
14:55 for Will A. He has been in the zone and
14:58 in your face hitting the baby boo
15:00 strikeout celebration. And let's do a
15:01 little storytelling. All right, these
15:03 two guys are no stranger to the 4th of
15:06 July. David Griffin, the last time it
15:10 was a 4th of July, you think about a
15:11 calendar year. How about this? He
15:14 started
15:15 >> in independent baseball and went seven
15:18 no hit innings. Will Ethridge on the
15:20 other side of things made his
15:22 professional baseball debut on the 4th
15:24 of July and in front of a home crowd he
15:26 got booed as he exited the mound because
15:29 he struggled and allowed four hits in
15:31 the first inning of his Colorado Rockies
15:33 affiliated day debut. So David Griffin
15:36 wants to dip into that same success.
15:37 Will Ethridge wants to rewrite history.
15:39 I talked to him last night. He said he
15:41 has been itching for another chance on
15:43 the 4th of July since that very night.
15:45 >> And these are guys who punch a lot of
15:47 tickets, too. They fill up the strike
15:48 zone. They get a ton of swing and miss.
15:50 Both of them 21 strikeouts in the month
15:52 of June. Neither of them went over 22
15:55 innings on the month. So these guys are
15:57 punching a ton of tickets. They have got
16:00 big time stuff. And we are going to see
16:02 quite a bit of swing and miss tonight.
16:04 >> Well, we have a prime time pitching
16:06 matchup. But after last night's game,
16:08 we've got to hear from both sides
16:10 skippers. It's Maddie, it's Michael,
16:12 it's Fox, and it's Crocco.
16:16 AJ Cam, I'm down here with Coach Fox
16:19 after an absolutely electric win for the
16:21 Clowns last night. Now, coach, I want to
16:23 ask you first about guys in your locker
16:25 room like Joe Lidle. What are guys that
16:28 are spark plugs like that for your team
16:30 doing for the rest of the guys in
16:32 moments like the end of last night's
16:33 game?
16:34 >> It's really just catapulting these guys
16:35 to get more comfortable with the game of
16:37 banana ball. Joe Lidle is a is a veteran
16:39 in this game. So for him to always come
16:41 up and get the job done for us and play
16:44 the game hard like he always does, it
16:46 just kind of it helps our locker room
16:48 just get more comfortable and feel more
16:49 confident about going into the banana
16:50 ball games.
16:51 >> Now on the other side of the ball, you
16:53 have Nick Wilson stepping on the mound.
16:55 He throws a shutdown seventh and eighth
16:57 inning and then you know the Coconuts
16:58 kind of battle back a little bit in the
17:00 ninth, but you see him keep his
17:01 composure on the mound. Where do you
17:02 think that comes from?
17:04 >> Nick's just being a dog, being who he
17:06 is, man. He's been that dog for us all
17:08 year and I expect honestly whenever we
17:11 get him in the game I expect for him to
17:12 just continue to be a bulldog for us and
17:14 always battle through the adversity if
17:16 it comes up.
17:17 >> All right, now we saw the clowns did.
17:19 Now I'm going to toss it over to my
17:20 colleague Michael Schwarz with another
17:21 head coach on this field.
17:23 >> Hey Maddie, thank you so much. Have the
17:25 honor and pleasure to be joined with
17:27 head coach of the Coconuts, Mark Croco.
17:30 A special day America 250 a special
17:32 jacket. What's the message to this team?
17:34 I saw you wrote happy July 4th. Uh happy
17:37 250th birthday on the lineup card.
17:39 What's the message?
17:40 >> Yeah, message today. I was fortunate
17:41 enough to uh to work at the Air Force
17:43 Academy in Colorado Springs and uh to be
17:46 around guys that got a chance to serve
17:48 our country and will continue to uh and
17:50 it's really been our narrative all year.
17:52 The family shows up and uh we're going
17:54 to show up for our country. We're going
17:55 to show up for Jacksonville, our banana
17:57 ball community today a little extra. Uh
18:00 we're going to make sure that everyone
18:01 knows that when you're free to do what
18:04 we get a chance to do, which is to love
18:05 these fans, to show up to bring great
18:08 entertainment and great ball every week,
18:10 week in and week out. Uh every time we
18:12 salute our troops, I tell them we cannot
18:14 do this without you. And I want our
18:16 players on both sides tonight to uh to
18:18 just embrace that and play free and play
18:20 hard.
18:21 >> I echo that. We salute everyone who has
18:23 served and defended our country. And you
18:25 said show out. Our fans here in
18:26 Jacksonville have shown out three
18:28 straight days through the heat. Another
18:31 sold out night. Mark Croco, thank you so
18:33 much. Uh where did Mattie and coach Fox
18:35 go? Well, we'll find him. We'll find
18:37 him. Guys, back up to you in the booth.
18:42 >> How lucky are we on this 4th of July?
18:46 For the first time, we get a game that
18:48 features the Indianapolis Clowns and the
18:50 Loco Beach Coconuts. And it's a rubber
18:53 match at that. Without further ado,
18:55 let's get to know these Indianapolis
18:56 clowns. I hear they all can juggle and
18:58 they know how to play shadow ball.
19:04 >> I've done the impossible.
19:08 Now that's proof. Just wait and see. I
19:12 got the feeling now. I can touch the
19:14 ceiling now. Anyway, anyhow, I can do
19:17 anything.
19:19 Just watch the way I move. And every
19:21 little thing I do, you won't believe it
19:24 till you see it right for you.
19:52 So come alive.
19:55 We got that magic
19:58 special.
19:59 Shine. Shine.
20:05 You got that mag.
20:13 Oh yeah, you got it.
20:18 >> So don't forget who you are.
20:24 If you could dream it, you could be it.
20:28 Just believe it.
20:31 Shadow.
20:35 We're made from
20:39 that.
20:42 You got that mag.
20:56 Go ahead.
21:02 Shine. Shine.
21:19 >> What's up, Jacksonville?
21:21 >> Yo yo yo. How y'all feeling? How y'all
21:23 feeling? Happy 250th birthday, America.
21:28 >> Oh yeah. Y'all ready to start clowning
21:29 around?
21:30 >> Welcome to the original baseball circus.
21:34 >> Yeah. Get ready to clap your hands and
21:35 stomp your feet because we're going to
21:37 clown around all night long. We need
21:41 you, me, them,
21:44 everybody.
21:47 Everybody
21:49 needs somebody.
21:52 Everybody, everybody
21:54 >> need somebody to love.
21:58 Someone to love.
22:00 >> Yeah,
22:00 >> sweetheart. We all miss.
22:03 >> Someone to kiss.
22:04 >> We to kiss. I need you. You, you. I need
22:08 you. You, you. I need you. You, you. I
22:13 need you. Make some noise to the
22:16 Indianapolis clones.
22:18 Let's get them, boys.
22:33 Dudes and dudets, as you can see,
22:36 surfing into home plate. Give it up for
22:41 Oscar.
22:45 What Oscar will be attempting to do is
22:47 to hit a home run off these Indianapolis
22:50 Clowns. And he will be facing the one
22:53 and only Nick Wilson.
22:59 And it seems like the Clowns are taking
23:01 this really serious.
23:03 And he stands in the box. It looks like
23:05 the Clowns aren't even paying attention
23:06 at the throw. Oh, and a foul. Paul, it
23:09 looked like Nick was throwing it at my
23:11 guy. What are you doing?
23:14 He's playing the innocent card. We're
23:16 getting him the ball back, Oscar. Good
23:18 swing. Way to protect yourself. But that
23:19 is strike one. Let's see what you got.
23:23 And the pitch. Oh, and he swings and
23:25 misses for strike two. But here at
23:27 Banana Ball, we still play three
23:29 strikes. And it looks like Peter the
23:31 Colada is coming out of nowhere. Looking
23:33 like he has beef. Oh, and he and he hits
23:36 Nick. Oh, he hit him with some gas. I
23:39 don't think that smelled too good. Who
23:42 knows what that bird's up to, but Oscar
23:44 stands in, gets a swing.
23:47 Oh, and he puts it in play. Hit it hard.
23:49 And the clowns aren't even paying
23:50 attention.
23:53 And the clowns are falling all over each
23:54 other. Looks like they're just clowning
23:57 around out there. Has no idea what's
23:59 going on. And Oscar's just going to keep
24:01 running.
24:02 It looks like Clark gets hit by the
24:04 ball. And he's all over. And I don't
24:06 know what Peanut's doing, but he's
24:07 trying to block him. And Oscar trips
24:09 him. And Peanuts on the ground
24:13 and the clowns are trying to hold him
24:14 back. But here come Oscar. Can he hurdle
24:16 him? Oh, and he jumps him and he punches
24:20 Joe. And he punches Joe in the face to
24:23 score. And he does it and he scores.
24:28 Give it up one more time for Oscar.
24:37 Happy 4th of July from Banana Land.
24:40 Clowns and Coconuts is coming up next.
24:42 But before we get to the action, let's
24:44 learn about the 11 rules that make this
24:46 sport special.
24:50 Banana Ball is the fastest and most
24:52 entertaining show in sports. And the 11
24:54 rules guarantee the most fans first
24:56 experience every second.
24:58 >> Unbelievable.
24:59 >> Welcome to the Banana Bowl Championship
25:01 League.
25:02 >> Rule number one, win the inning, win the
25:05 point. The team that scores the most
25:07 runs in an inning wins the point.
25:08 >> It's a walk-off winner to the deepest
25:11 point of the field. Oh my goodness.
25:14 >> With the equalizer point, trick plays
25:16 provide the away team an opportunity to
25:18 earn a point going into the final
25:20 inning. And in the final inning, every
25:22 run counts as a point. Rule number two,
25:25 banana ball has a 2hour time limit,
25:28 guaranteeing that every game is
25:30 fast-paced and action-packed. Rule
25:33 number three, no stepping out of the
25:35 batter's box. If you do, it will result
25:37 in a strike.
25:38 >> Max stepped out of the box and because
25:39 he stepped out of the box, that's it.
25:41 >> Rule number four, no bunting, cuz
25:44 bunting sucks. If you bunt, you'll be
25:47 thrown out of the game. Rule number
25:48 five, batters can steal first base.
25:51 >> Ball three, can you take it off for
25:52 first throw from Leroy in time?
25:55 >> Rule number six, there's no walks. Walks
25:59 are ball for sprints. The batter can
26:01 advance as far as they want until every
26:03 position player touches the ball.
26:05 >> No defenders have touched the banana
26:07 ball. It is a four base spread to open
26:10 up the ball game.
26:12 >> Rule number seven, no mound visits.
26:15 >> Nope. Rule number eight, foul balls
26:18 caught by a fan count as an out.
26:20 >> Oh, they did. They can't guard it on the
26:24 court. We're going to show
26:26 >> rule number nine, the showdowns. In
26:29 showdowns, the best of the best face off
26:32 in the biggest moment. One hitter verse
26:34 one pitcher with one fielder behind
26:36 them. And the hitter has to score. Deep
26:39 to right center. See you later.
26:43 >> Rule number 10. The banana ball
26:45 challenge role gives the coaches and
26:47 you, the fans, a chance to impact a call
26:49 on the field. Rule number 11, the golden
26:53 batter. Once a game, each team can give
26:56 any player in a bat, regardless of the
26:58 lineup. This offers the biggest matchups
27:00 on the biggest stage.
27:02 >> Big on big.
27:04 Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. Get out of
27:08 here. Ball. That thing had a family.
27:13 And those are the rules of banana ball.
27:23 >> Hey, it's the 4th of July. We know what
27:26 a pun is. How about the founding
27:28 fathers? Four fathers in this game.
27:30 Jordan Brewer, Joe Filamino, Jackie
27:32 Bradley Jr., Carell Prime. Each have
27:35 left their mark on either franchise.
27:37 >> Yeah. And specifically looking at
27:39 Bradley and Prime. Those are guys who
27:41 are dads who take big daddy hacks up at
27:44 the plate for the Clowns. They have been
27:45 doing so all season long. But man, Joe
27:48 Filamino in this series has been a
27:51 workhorse. He has been tapping that
27:53 belly and has been punching some tickets
27:56 as well.
27:56 >> Yeah. Well, up in the North Pole, he's
27:58 known as Papa Filamino. So, let's learn
28:00 more about these founding fathers down
28:02 Beachside.
28:06 >> Our founding fathers here in Loco Beach,
28:09 the only fathers on the team, Jordan
28:11 Brewer and Joe Filamino
28:14 for AJ. Uh, leads a team in trick plays
28:16 right now. 279 batting average. You're
28:18 doing it all as a dad. How do you stay
28:20 so cool as a father? Oh, that's I have
28:24 to follow these guys, you know, like JBJ
28:25 over here, Prime Filamino, you know,
28:27 they they lead the way. I'm a new I'm a
28:29 newbie at it, so watching them how they
28:30 go about their stuff every day,
28:32 practicing, and then taking the time
28:34 away from the field and like really
28:35 following what they do and like really
28:37 taking notes. So, that's that's how I
28:39 really do it.
28:39 >> Joe Filamino, you have reinvented the
28:42 Dadbod in the best way possible. You
28:44 look great. You're in great shape. How
28:46 has Banana Ball transformed you? Uh,
28:48 well, I'll start by saying I'm
28:49 definitely not in great shape,
28:50 especially when there's a guy like
28:51 Jordan Brewer standing next to you on
28:52 the other side. Um, honestly, I've just
28:55 been having as much fun as one can
28:57 possibly have, right? Being away from
28:58 the game for 6 years and and doing
29:00 practically nothing. Um, it it
29:03 definitely it's easy to pack on a few
29:04 pounds, but um but yeah, getting out
29:06 again, getting out here and competing,
29:07 hanging out with the guys and girls on
29:09 the in the organization and having a
29:11 great time. It's it's made the uh weight
29:13 loss a lot easier. I don't even realize
29:14 it.
29:15 >> I love it. I'm going to pass along to my
29:16 colleague Mattie Warren who is with the
29:18 clowns.
29:19 >> Thank you so much, Michael. Now, Jackie,
29:21 your kids have been probably all over
29:23 the country at this point with you and
29:24 they had a little bit of a ferry ride
29:26 yesterday. How cool is it to get them to
29:28 kind of soak up the fun that you're also
29:30 having in Banana Ball?
29:32 >> Tell you what, ever since summer started
29:33 and they've been out of school, they've
29:35 been traveling everywhere with me. So,
29:37 they're living their best lives. They're
29:39 enjoying it and trying to get to
29:41 experience new things along the way.
29:43 Now, Prime, your kids also just get to
29:46 be running around the banana ball field.
29:48 Is it sweet to get to bring them onto
29:50 the field, have them see you see you
29:51 doing what you do and then maybe take
29:53 after you in the future?
29:54 >> Yeah, absolutely. Just the interaction
29:56 with all the guys. I mean, it it's
29:58 second to none. They have a lot of
29:59 uncles, you know, we call them many
30:01 uncles running around and and they
30:02 listen to them and they get to learn a
30:04 lot in the process. Um, and yeah, I'm
30:06 just overwhelmed with joy when they're
30:08 able to be on the field with us and and
30:09 to take it all in and be a part of it.
30:11 So yeah, I wouldn't change it for
30:12 anything.
30:13 >> Banana Ball, it's one big family, guys.
30:21 >> Banana Ball is a family, and how great
30:23 to hear from four fathers who have been
30:25 so integral in establishing these two
30:28 brands. It's 110° and sunny in my heart,
30:31 but the fans still got to get warmed up.
30:33 Let's check in on the field. Over 9,000
30:35 copying the little one on the first base
30:37 side.
30:39 Those hands once again, Adeline.
30:43 Everyone in this crowd is going crazy
30:45 for you. Let's hear it one more time for
30:49 sevenyear-old Adeline.
31:12 Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, and
31:16 beach bums from around the world. Since
31:19 the dawn of time, the world has battled
31:21 between order and chaos. For every sunny
31:24 day, there is the roar of a hurricane.
31:28 With every relaxing day at the beach,
31:30 there's the sheer force of a tsunami.
31:33 Nearly 200 years ago, America's pastime
31:36 was established with a sense of order.
31:38 For a time, it swept the globe. From
31:40 Honolulu to Malibu, from Bombay to
31:44 Monterey, the people came to see it in
31:46 droves until tradition faded. The people
31:52 wanted more, something new. Then came a
31:55 sport that erupted. like a volcano. A
31:59 sport that is of the fans, by the fans,
32:02 and for the fans. A sport that is
32:05 baseball by birth, fruit by name, and an
32:08 absolute worldwide phenomenon by the
32:12 grace of God. This is the time for all
32:15 10,000 people here in Jacksonville,
32:19 Florida to get on your feet, hang loose,
32:23 let loose, and go. Absolutely
32:27 loco
32:32 because this is the craziest show in
32:35 sports. Ladies and gentlemen, this is
32:39 Battle.
32:45 And now your starting lineups for the
32:48 look of these coconuts.
32:50 Leading off in center field, Ben Poops
32:55 Parker.
32:58 Batting second in left field, Tanner
33:03 Allen.
33:07 Batting third, short stop, Dane Tough.
33:15 Batting cleanup, the first baseman,
33:17 Jordan
33:19 Brewer.
33:23 Batting fifth, right fielder, Gideon
33:28 Antto.
33:31 Batting sixth, the catcher, SP Ving.
33:38 Batting seventh, third baseman JT
33:43 Erso.
33:47 Batting eighth, designated hitter Grady
33:51 Morgan.
33:55 Batting ninth, second baseman, Payton
33:58 Shatany.
34:02 Batting 10th, your extra hitter, Brett
34:07 Carson.
34:11 Your starting pitcher will
34:21 head coach Mark Croco assisted by Andy
34:26 Morales and Anthony Mars.
34:38 Ladies and gentlemen, at this time we
34:41 ask you to please rise if a remove your
34:44 caps and join us in the honoring of
34:47 America with the singing of tonight's
34:49 national anthem. Please welcome to the
34:52 field Victoria Johnson.
34:55 Oh, say can you see
35:01 by the
35:04 early
35:07 so
35:10 we held
35:12 at the twilight
35:15 lasting
35:17 whose broad stripes and bright stars
35:23 through
35:25 the perilous.
35:31 For the
35:33 parts we watched
35:37 were so gall
35:59 through the night
36:03 that our flag was
36:07 still there.
36:12 Oh, say
36:15 that star spangled
36:20 yet
36:23 or the
36:35 heart
36:38 of
36:41 breath.
36:45 One more time for Victoria Johnson.
36:51 The land of the free, the home of the
36:54 brave. Happy 4th of July.
36:57 Live from the United States of America,
36:59 right here on the shores of Loco Beach.
37:02 It's the Coconuts. It's the clowns. 250
37:05 years after the USA claimed
37:07 independence, we get cinema at five-star
37:12 ballpark. Five-star performance on the
37:15 way here in the Sunshine State. Happy
37:17 4th of July. Coconuts and clowns ready
37:20 for a rubber match. How else would you
37:22 rather celebrate? Where else would you
37:24 rather be? The answer for me is
37:26 absolutely nowhere. Right where my feet
37:28 are, right here at Loco Beach. It's the
37:30 two newest teams to Banana Land ready to
37:33 do battle ahead of the two-week break.
37:36 Happy Independence Day. What a beautiful
37:39 country. What a beautiful day. What
37:41 beautiful sights and sounds with over
37:43 9,000 in attendance. It's just about go
37:46 time. And that means we've got to take a
37:47 look at this loco beach coconut starting
37:50 defense. You're going to get deja vu.
37:52 It's identical to games one and two. The
37:54 only difference is Will Ether taking
37:55 over on the hill. Saljacobo going to be
37:57 the designated fielder. Dane Toofflin
37:59 hits in his place. Jacobo and Brewer
38:02 combining for 170 trick plays this
38:04 season. They ran third and fourth in the
38:07 Banana Ball Championship League. Payton
38:09 Shatany has been firing on all cylinders
38:12 at second. JD Erso the new everyday
38:14 third baseman looking the part at the
38:17 hot corner. The outfield reading like a
38:18 book goes Tanner Allen. Ben Pumps Parker
38:21 and Gideon the Ant-Man antel. You get a
38:23 third straight day of Ashby vining
38:25 behind the plate. of the story here is
38:27 who you're going to be calling baby boo.
38:30 Will Ethridge, the reigning pitcher of
38:31 the month, taking over on the mound on
38:33 this 4th of July, looking to rewrite
38:35 history. For Ethridge, his pro debut in
38:38 the Rocky system was one to forget. He
38:41 was booed off the field after struggling
38:44 on the 4th of July. Now he gets a chance
38:46 for redemption against a team that is
38:48 history embodied. Will Eth 430 earned
38:52 run average, 43 strikeouts to 15 ball,
38:54 four sprints. Absolute cinnamon. This
38:57 guy has been on a tear just working
38:59 through lineups with ease. He's got the
39:01 US on his face. The US ofA in his heart.
39:04 Number 20 on his jersey and the Factor
39:07 is ready to go against the Indianapolis
39:09 Clowns whose lineup exploded last night.
39:12 >> The beaches are open on this 4th of
39:14 July. But all up and down this Clowns
39:16 lineup, there are Sharks in the water.
39:19 They were held down for quite a bit of
39:21 this series, 0 for 16 with runners in
39:24 scoring position until Jaylen Vasquez
39:26 knocked one out of the yard at the
39:28 eighth inning last night. And you see he
39:30 gets rewarded for that. The extra hitter
39:32 rounding out the lineup today. Bobby
39:34 Leay at the top spot. One of the hottest
39:37 hitters the last month plus in the
39:39 Banana Ball Championship League. Joe
39:41 Lidle still. Whoa,
39:42 >> whoa, whoa, whoa. It is 7:00 Eastern
39:44 time. Cam Stewart, that means it's 5:00
39:47 somewhere. Specifically in Guam. Get
39:49 those frozen margaritas in the air. Dip
39:52 your twisty straw in your beverage. It's
39:54 the 4th of July live and in living color
39:57 right here at FiveStar Ballpark. The
39:59 clowns and coconuts coming up next. But
40:01 first, we got to start a wave and raise
40:03 a toast to America.
40:15 Ladies and gentlemen, in Banana Ball, we
40:18 start the clock. But at Loco Beach,
40:21 every game begins with a wave. So,
40:24 Jacksonville, I need your help creating
40:26 the biggest wave this stadium has ever
40:29 seen. Starting right here out in right
40:32 field. Get ready to get those hands up
40:36 on one two three. Start the wave.
40:43 >> Here we go.
40:43 >> Showtime.
40:44 >> Will Ethridge starts in the zone.
40:47 Homeplayed umpire crew chief Hunt Ives,
40:50 calls it a strike, and Baby Bu picks up
40:52 where he left off against Bobby Leidday.
40:56 Making an 02 count. Leed slashed into
40:58 the fans. not cup.
41:05 >> Couldn't handp pick a better place to be
41:06 on this Fourth of July.
41:10 >> Ethridge three pitch punch out to start
41:12 the day and she going to call him baby
41:14 boo. The F factor comes in and makes a
41:18 big impact right off the rip.
41:21 >> Three pitches, three strikes. That's
41:24 what we call in the industry efficiency.
41:27 Good morning, good afternoon, good
41:29 night.
41:31 Welcome to the Will Average Show. It's
41:33 your regularly scheduled programming.
41:35 The longtime Colorado Rockies farm hand
41:38 starts off in Fuego. Now he's getting
41:41 swords from Jackie Bradley Jr., the
41:43 twotime MLB All-Star and World Series
41:45 champion.
41:48 JBJ
41:50 fly ball into left center field. Ben
41:51 Parker calls off Tanner Allen and brings
41:53 it in for route number two. Two up, two
41:56 quickly down for the F factor.
42:03 >> Clowns have been quiet in the first
42:04 inning of each of the three games in
42:06 this series. They went down one, two,
42:07 three last night.
42:10 Will Ethridge trying to do the same
42:12 thing that Mark Smith did to start the
42:15 game. Zack Smith did to start the game.
42:17 I don't know if Mark Smith did that. He
42:18 might have somewhere.
42:21 >> I'll give him credit. Probably
42:23 >> just trying to throw a bone to Mark
42:24 Smith.
42:26 >> Can I get a bone? Golden retriever.
42:28 >> I got a bone to pick with you.
42:30 >> Chomp
42:33 one. Misses inside. I know it's the 4th
42:35 of July, but at Thanksgiving, you ever
42:37 play with the wishbone?
42:38 >> I used to. Yeah. Yeah.
42:40 >> Always got the long end of that. Maybe
42:41 that's why I ended up where I am now.
42:44 >> You know what? It all makes sense now.
42:50 >> Dale Francis Jr.
42:52 Explosion off his barrel. Deepest part
42:55 of the yard. It's out of here. Dale
42:58 Francis Jr. make a statement. It's a
43:01 first inning knock that touches him off.
43:04 Seventh homer of the year for Splash
43:06 Life Dale.
43:09 When you get a cannonball at the beach,
43:12 it makes one sound. Splash.
43:17 Splash life. Dale Francis Jr. is doing
43:21 it all. He's cutting hair. He's rapping.
43:24 He's going Yavo.
43:29 >> After watching Ethridge take care of his
43:31 first two. The tall task. Dale Francis
43:35 Jr. starts the game with a statement.
43:38 It's a one- nothing Clowns advantage in
43:39 the first with two down.
43:43 Here comes Joe Lidle. Last night's hero.
43:45 Hit the go-ahead home run in the ninth
43:47 inning. was the difference maker in a 76
43:50 Clowns win.
43:53 >> Sporting that Ted Williams average, it's
43:56 as close as it's been in the batting
43:57 average race in a long time. He's only
43:59 four points ahead of Taylor Justice, but
44:01 a cool 406.
44:07 >> Average back in the zone. Anything
44:09 possible now in a 3-1 spot.
44:15 He misses low. Joe Lidle follows up the
44:18 home run with a ball four sprint. So
44:19 after two quick ones from Ethridge,
44:22 he allows the pair to reach in opposite
44:24 forms, a home run and a ball four
44:26 sprint. It's going to be the first time
44:27 we see Flash the Kid, the designated
44:29 runner for the Clowns. He takes over
44:30 immediately for Lidle on the bases.
44:34 >> And with that Dale Francis Jr. home run,
44:36 the hitter before that's seven straight
44:39 games the Clowns have left the ballpark.
44:43 >> Carell Prime helped start that streak.
44:47 One of five Flidians on this team.
44:50 Bradenton native.
44:56 >> Ryan quickly in an O2 hole. Again, don't
44:59 believe in secrets here. We're going to
45:01 hear from Carell later tonight. I can't
45:02 wait for it. He's a treat to get miked
45:04 up. Veteran of the sport, 13-year
45:06 professional. Carell Prime battles it
45:08 off into the netting.
45:19 Ath
45:23 long breath and a fire pops up prime.
45:27 This a prime opportunity for a trick
45:29 play. Gideon Antel pops it up. Payton
45:31 shot. Tany got it in the brim and it's a
45:34 double trick play for the loco Beach
45:36 Coconuts.
45:38 One run comes in to score on a solo home
45:41 run from Dale Francis Jr.,
45:44 >> but that's all to show for it. Coconuts
45:46 tally a pair of tricks on a tip drill
45:48 from Antel to shot.
45:51 And we head to the bottom of the first
45:52 inning where the Clowns defense is going
45:54 to look to dip right into that same
45:56 success.
45:57 >> And this is a team that has been hot in
45:59 the trick play category. Although they
46:01 have been just so close, they have
46:03 missed the equalizer point by one each
46:06 time. They go back to where they were
46:08 for so much of June in the designated
46:09 fielder department and that is Brian
46:11 Dancero in left field. Kirkland Banks in
46:14 at second base today. David Griffin and
46:16 Daniel Foster too last night have been
46:18 two trick play masters uh from the
46:20 pitcher position. Eight between them.
46:22 Joe Lionel little little banged up last
46:24 night on a slide. He is back behind home
46:27 plate today. But Bobby Leay is the guy
46:30 that leads the way. Very nice season for
46:32 him in terms of the trick plays.
46:33 >> This screams independence.
46:35 It's the world's slowest race. On the
46:38 4th of July,
46:40 dressed in red, white, and blue. Which
46:42 little tank wants it the most? Claim
46:44 your freedom.
46:47 Go out and chase your independence. And
46:49 sitting at that charade style line. Oh,
46:51 no. Not like that. That's not how you
46:54 win.
46:56 >> Oh, dedication from that little one.
46:59 >> Right now, it's a two-horse race.
47:03 >> The betting favorites out in front. the
47:05 dirty diaper and American flags all
47:08 over.
47:11 >> Two to one odds to win for a reason.
47:13 She's out in front.
47:16 >> Right on her tail, a big time underdog.
47:18 22 to one.
47:24 >> Who wants it more?
47:28 >> Here. And everyone's got action on this
47:30 one.
47:32 I've got a prop bet in the one in the
47:33 red to crawl forward instead of sitting
47:35 straight. Come on, get off your feet.
47:37 That's cheating. There you go. Thanks
47:40 for listening.
47:43 >> Washington crossing the PTOAC.
47:45 Pickicket's charge.
47:47 This
47:49 great charges in American history.
47:55 Who will join the names of Michael
47:58 Johnson, of Carl Lewis, of Joe Benoy
48:02 Samuelson?
48:05 The favorite out in front. Does she got
48:09 it?
48:10 Oh, there's movement on the outside
48:12 lane. She's taking a stop. This could be
48:15 the great comeback.
48:17 Just like America 250 years ago.
48:22 my Atlanta from the outside lane.
48:27 It's the greatest comeback in sports,
48:29 but it comes up short.
48:32 Oh, the greatest comeback in the history
48:36 of the world's slowest race at 35 to
48:41 one. The longest shot. Kicks it into
48:45 high gear like you ain't never seen it
48:48 before.
48:50 This is America. on Independence Day.
48:55 >> Try to follow that one up. David
48:57 Griffin, the clowns ace. When the
49:01 gizzies are on the grill and the stars
49:03 and stripes are flowing, David Griffin
49:06 is cooking. Went into the seventh inning
49:09 with a no hitter the last time he
49:11 pitched on the 4th of July. He hopes to
49:14 keep that momentum going. He has been
49:16 punching tickets all season long for
49:18 this Clowns ball club. Well, if that
49:20 ball was fair, it would have tied the
49:22 inning. Ben Parker with two home runs
49:23 this year, just hit one foul.
49:25 >> It's good it wasn't, cuz I was still
49:27 talking.
49:28 >> My heart rate is never going to calm
49:30 down. That was a world's slowest race
49:32 for the ages.
49:33 >> You thought America over England was an
49:35 upset. How about that? What we just saw?
49:39 >> That's the USA.
49:42 That's what we fight for.
49:48 One-two spot for Ben Parker.
49:52 >> Comeback. Coconuts have a new rival as
49:54 that little one in the Navy.
49:59 Maybe the greatest comeback of the year.
50:02 Little comeback of the third. Eli Payton
50:03 gets the first Clowns trick play on the
50:05 first ball in play. It's a 5-3 put out
50:07 to start David Griffin's day on the
50:09 hill.
50:13 Eli Payton, the Swiss Army knife of this
50:16 infield for the Indianapolis Clowns.
50:17 Last night started the game at first
50:19 base. Fourth different position he has
50:21 played this year. Back at his
50:24 comfortable position in the hot corner.
50:25 You see why
50:29 game one showman of the game. Loco Beach
50:31 won last night. It would have been him
50:32 again. Tanner Allen has had himself a
50:35 series.
50:37 Two of his six home runs have come here
50:39 in Jacksonville.
50:41 >> One here would tie a game. Three-0
50:44 count. He shot to see him swing.
50:52 >> Oh, Tanner Allen's not happy with that
50:54 call.
50:55 >> Way over his head. He was frustrated
50:57 with a call on a potential ball four
50:59 sprint last night. Now in a 3-1 spot and
51:02 he's up there swinging and it's scraping
51:04 the sky. And David Griffin giving it
51:05 right back to him. He's down in a squat.
51:07 His defense behind him. Leed and Banks
51:10 get the one trick play on a tip drill.
51:12 Both sides have two tricks now in the
51:13 first inning. Clowns out away from
51:16 taking the lead early.
51:18 And the one time that David Griffin saw
51:20 the Coconuts this year, he shoved, which
51:22 he is wanting to do. Four innings
51:24 pitched, three earned runs, two
51:26 strikeouts, no ball, four sprints. But
51:29 this has been a long time since these
51:31 two teams have seen each other. That was
51:33 back on April the 10th.
51:38 >> Dane Toofflin fends it off.
51:41 >> Oh no, that set off a Roman candle on
51:43 the roof.
51:44 >> Uh-oh.
51:51 Okay, good thing that it let out all 16
51:53 of its fireballs. And it looks like
51:55 everyone's okay.
51:57 How is that sitting up there? Right next
51:59 to a fuse with a match.
52:02 Toofflin, a good swing. JBJ on his horse
52:05 comes in and gets it between the legs.
52:07 Jackie Bradley Jr. leaves no doubt. It's
52:10 a three trick play inning for the
52:11 Clouds. That earns a point and a one-
52:13 nothing advantage.
52:16 >> JBJ's got the kids with him and he's
52:18 making the Banana Ball Championship
52:20 League look like child's play. The Red
52:23 Sox fan gets the help from the former
52:25 Red Sox. How about that for a
52:27 three-trick play inning? Well, we just
52:29 saw maybe the greatest world's slowest
52:31 race. Now, I'm getting word from our
52:33 producer. We've got to watch the
52:35 greatest slowman.
52:39 >> They're going to run from bow pole to
52:41 foul pole and then we will see who is
52:44 the greatest slowman. Gentlemen, on your
52:49 mark, get set.
52:53 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
52:56 Time's up. Yeah, take those shirts off.
52:59 We got to take the shirts off first,
53:01 baby.
53:03 Hey, you got one more shirt. Come on.
53:04 One more shirt. All right, let's do it.
53:08 On your mark, get set, go.
53:13 And they're off to a slow start. Which
53:17 daddy will get there first? They're
53:21 running. They're running.
53:24 Which big belly will make it? Oh, who's
53:28 going to make it? And it's Big Daddy
53:30 Steve.
53:33 Give it up for Big Daddy Steve, our
53:35 greatest slowman.
53:46 From the world's slowest race to the
53:48 greatest slowman. It's the only slow
53:50 thing going on in this sport. One of the
53:53 fastest NPI starters, Will Ethridge back
53:55 out for a second inning of work.
53:59 It's 6, seven, and eight. Starting with
54:02 the six bat and Eric Fox's order today.
54:04 Nicolesizer.
54:10 Nico found that swing again last night
54:12 in the ninth inning. He provided some
54:15 crucial insurance for the Clowns after
54:17 that Joe Lidle homer. It was a Jackie
54:19 Bradley golden batter ball for Sprint.
54:21 And then Nico
54:23 going a little too baggger to bring him
54:24 in and then came around to score
54:26 himself. Couple ribbies for him and
54:29 double number 11 which for most teams
54:32 you're in the top two sitting at third
54:35 when you got the league's leader in that
54:37 category and Bobby Leay ahead of you
54:39 with 14 and Joe Lidle with 13
54:41 >> would be fifth on Loco Beach.
54:44 >> That's how good these two offenses are.
54:45 >> We got the top five doubles hitters in
54:47 the league in this game.
54:48 >> Oh boy. Nicolesizer,
54:50 no doubt.
54:53 Kiss it goodbye.
54:56 Second solo home run for the Clowns. It
54:59 has many innings. It's the ninth homer
55:01 for Nicoer this year. And the Clouds are
55:05 right back on top and right back where
55:07 they left off.
55:13 Clear the deck. Nico Holesizer is coming
55:16 ashore.
55:18 his second nuke in as many weekends.
55:21 When he hits that ball, it goes a long,
55:25 long way.
55:28 Mercy. Two in two innings for the
55:31 Clowns. We said they cannot be held down
55:34 for long.
55:37 Yeah, that ball still hasn't landed yet.
55:41 No doubter by definition from Nico
55:43 Hollesizer. That's how you set the tone
55:45 for an inning. Eli Payton wants to make
55:47 it back to back. He's already homerred
55:49 in this series. Instead, it's right back
55:50 to the mound. Baby Boo between the legs.
55:53 Brewer gets it between the legs as well.
55:56 Stout defense from the Loco Beach
55:58 Coconuts
56:00 gives way for a Chris Burgess signature
56:02 walk up.
56:14 Super high
56:17 co
56:20 anywhere
56:25 over
56:26 there.
56:29 I'll just be looking
56:35 and somewhere on the way you might find
56:38 out who you are living in
56:49 America
56:56 living in America.
57:01 playing the role of the godfather of
57:04 souls, Chris Burgess.
57:07 Little Rocky four. A little James Brown
57:09 coming right into your living room on
57:11 the 4th of July.
57:13 >> Leave the flag.
57:17 One stunt for Chris Burgess.
57:20 Resilient from Will Ethridge. Always
57:23 unfazed by what he's done in the batter
57:25 prior.
57:27 followed up a home run with weak contact
57:29 right back to himself that he handled
57:31 cleanly and he hold the damage at a run.
57:33 Chris Burgess certainly has other plans.
57:35 He's ahead in the count 2-1.
57:43 Make it 2-2.
57:51 Ethridge got him to go around. It's
57:53 another strike out for the F factor
57:56 hitting the baby boo in style. There's
57:58 two down in the top of the second
57:59 inning.
58:00 >> Well, Will Ethridge might just be
58:02 playing the part of Ivan Drago because
58:05 as great as the James Brown was before
58:07 that fight, we do know how it ended. It
58:10 was a little something like that in
58:11 Banana Ball terms.
58:16 >> I knew it.
58:18 Just give it a watch sometime.
58:22 Greatest Christmas movie ever. Rocky
58:24 four.
58:26 >> It is July. Here comes the donut batter.
58:28 Free donuts. Should Kirkland Bank strike
58:30 out. Over 9,000 in attendance chanting
58:33 donut. With their hands over their head,
58:35 held high in the sky.
58:37 Ethridge dug himself in a hole though.
58:39 It's a three-0 count.
58:42 >> Baby Boos right back in the zone.
58:51 Make it 3-2. Good recovery from the F
58:54 factor. 35 pitches into his day. Two
58:56 runs to his bill. Both solo shots.
59:04 >> Payoff spot here.
59:06 >> Ethridge.
59:08 >> Kicks.
59:10 >> Banks spewed into center. Ben Parker
59:13 sizes it up. Oh yeah. Beck flip catching
59:16 a beauty from Pumps. That's how you
59:18 close out the top of the second in
59:20 style. It's a trick play with a coconut
59:22 center fielder and a beautiful one at
59:24 that.
59:30 >> Hey, guess what guys?
59:33 >> I've got some privileges back. It's the
59:36 4th of July. I said, "Please, please let
59:40 me have some freedom." I beg. I beg and
59:43 I plead to be able to drink Tropical
59:46 Smoothie Cafe like my partner Cam
59:49 Stewart
59:52 and in the festive feel. I've got it
59:54 back. Shout out to Tropical Smoothie
59:56 Cafe. It's the best smoothie you could
59:58 find at Loco Beach and across the
1:00:00 nation. I've got myself a Sunrise
1:00:02 Sunset. It's not going to spill today.
1:00:03 You know why? Cuz I said it wouldn't.
1:00:06 >> Good karma, good vibes, and great
1:00:08 smoothies. Drink Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
1:00:13 Hello. This is a smoothie.
1:00:17 >> Tastes like freedom. Cheers. Hope you've
1:00:20 got one at home. If not, I'd be jealous.
1:00:23 Oh man, is this thing good.
1:00:28 You know what? If I just chug this whole
1:00:30 thing, I can't spill it. That's the
1:00:32 plan. We're just going to start drinking
1:00:34 this thing down quick.
1:00:37 Keeping the lid on.
1:00:40 Don't want to get a brain freeze. Cam, I
1:00:42 might need some coverage here. I'm about
1:00:43 to just slam this thing cuz
1:00:45 >> can't talk smoothing.
1:00:46 >> It can't spill.
1:00:55 >> Well, it's been a smooth start for David
1:00:57 Griffin. I'll give him that. Three outs,
1:01:00 three batters, and all of them in the
1:01:02 trick play variety in the first inning.
1:01:05 He's got a one-run cushion once again.
1:01:07 Kind of like what we saw last night for
1:01:09 Zack Smith. Just kept getting the
1:01:11 walk-offs, kept giving his chance, his
1:01:14 team a chance. It's the opposite for
1:01:15 David Griffin. He is playing with that
1:01:17 cushion.
1:01:18 >> Oh, slow roller to Eli Payton, but that
1:01:20 throws way offline. Carell Prime jogs to
1:01:23 get to it. And what looked to be a
1:01:24 routine play turns into a twoagger for
1:01:26 Jordan Brewer. He's the inning's tying
1:01:28 run.
1:01:32 >> Maybe you just need to see something go
1:01:34 right if you're Jordan Brewer. Only the
1:01:36 second time he's been on base in this
1:01:38 series. Still looking for the first hit.
1:01:40 But yeah, that throw just gets way away
1:01:42 from Eli Payton. Nothing Carell Prime
1:01:44 can do to even keep it in front of him.
1:01:53 >> Gideon Antel
1:01:56 starts by watching him miss outside.
1:02:02 Only got about a quarter of this
1:02:03 smoothie left for making good progress.
1:02:06 Coconuts trying to make progress on a
1:02:08 comeback year. The JBJ's got time to
1:02:10 size it up. He tips it to himself for a
1:02:12 trick play. Good relay holds Jordan
1:02:14 Brewer at second. Clowns within one.
1:02:16 These teams are off to a tricky start
1:02:18 compared to the first couple of games in
1:02:19 this series.
1:02:21 >> I think JBJ might be saying to
1:02:22 Nicoleizer, "Hey, I can tip it to you.
1:02:25 Come here for me. I mean, I could do
1:02:27 this, but
1:02:29 you give me a hard run in from right
1:02:30 field, I will lay one up for you.
1:02:34 >> Here's the face of the beach.
1:02:37 Asby fighting, towering slam out to left
1:02:40 field. That ball is out of here. Hasbing
1:02:45 walks off the second inning with a
1:02:47 seismic slam.
1:02:56 This ball game is tied.
1:02:59 It's the fourth yd call for the face of
1:03:02 the beach.
1:03:05 He waves the flag and says good night to
1:03:08 the banana ball.
1:03:12 This contest is knotted at once
1:03:16 by the do of Ashby Viney.
1:03:22 David Griffin knew that one right away
1:03:25 and so did Ashby Vining. Got every
1:03:28 single bit of that one.
1:03:31 And that could be a big early momentum
1:03:33 swing in this game. AJ Switech.
1:03:36 >> I wouldn't be surprised if that ball
1:03:38 just hit the face of the sun and
1:03:40 eviscerated.
1:03:42 That thing scraped the sky.
1:03:46 >> Got through the clouds over the fence
1:03:49 and tied the ball game after allowing a
1:03:51 run the top of the inning. Will
1:03:53 Ethridge's bats have his back and just
1:03:57 like last night,
1:03:59 we have mustache TV from Jacksonville,
1:04:02 Florida.
1:04:08 Yeah, last night every inning led to
1:04:11 points and we are on that trajectory
1:04:14 once again and and who would have
1:04:16 expected this from two of the best
1:04:18 offenses in the league. Obviously, the
1:04:20 Coconut staff has been lights out since
1:04:22 the beginning of June. You basically
1:04:24 have your ace on the mound here if
1:04:26 you're the clowns. But this is what a
1:04:27 rubber game's all about. Coming up on a
1:04:29 break in the Banana Ball Championship
1:04:31 League. These two teams are letting it
1:04:33 all hang out on our Independence Day.
1:04:36 >> Couldn't have handpicked a better time
1:04:37 for the first hit of the game. Ashby
1:04:40 Viny feeling himself now. He's going to
1:04:42 catch shirtless here in the third.
1:04:46 >> I'm not complaining.
1:04:49 You know, seems like the folks at home
1:04:51 are okay with it, too.
1:04:55 Just hope you've got some protection up
1:04:58 in the chest.
1:05:00 >> It's a hot day, man. I
1:05:02 >> I'd hate to see an Andy Bernard
1:05:03 situation.
1:05:05 >> Vamos Allah. Top of the third inning.
1:05:08 The 10 hole. Jaylen Vasquez who hit the
1:05:10 homer right last night against Willidge.
1:05:13 Miss evens the count at one a piece.
1:05:17 >> Vasquez told our Michael Schwarz, he
1:05:19 said, "It's about time that I ran into
1:05:21 one."
1:05:23 having some time splitting games, you
1:05:25 know, as a hitter, as a fielder,
1:05:28 saw a pitch he loved and put it out to
1:05:30 the right field grandstand. That was
1:05:32 really the swing that changed the game.
1:05:34 At that point, they were 0 for 16 with
1:05:36 runners in scoring position. Two-run
1:05:38 bomb in the eighth. Got him right back
1:05:40 in it. They ended up winning that point
1:05:41 to tie the ball game.
1:05:45 >> Counts as full as the tropical smoothie
1:05:47 I smelled on night one.
1:05:49 Payoff
1:05:52 backwards K. Will Ethridge got him
1:05:56 looking took him like a frozen pizza.
1:05:59 Cooked him right in the oven and said,
1:06:01 "I've got a special delivery." Headed to
1:06:03 the Clowns dugout.
1:06:08 >> Some backo action from Will Ethridge.
1:06:10 That is nasty.
1:06:13 >> First pitch swing from Leed.
1:06:16 >> Gideon Anel. The manscape.
1:06:21 gets it between the legs. It's
1:06:23 backto-back nights with the manscape
1:06:25 from Antel. And he's got words for the
1:06:27 fans saying, "I told you I got that one
1:06:28 in me." Gideon Antel is putting on a
1:06:32 clinic in right field in Jacksonville.
1:06:37 Brought the crowd to its feet last
1:06:39 night. Doing the same thing early on
1:06:42 Saturday.
1:06:43 Man, he is a weapon out there in the
1:06:46 outfield.
1:06:51 Two down. Will Ethridge wheeling and
1:06:54 dealing here in the third, but he's got
1:06:55 to deal with Jackie Bradley Jr.
1:07:00 >> JBJ's got no more strikes to toy with.
1:07:09 >> JBJ a rare hitless night last night did
1:07:12 come into golden batter in the ninth and
1:07:14 drew a sprint and scored a run. who did
1:07:17 contribute to the offense once again.
1:07:19 >> The contact Ethridge was looking for. He
1:07:21 calls off Ashby finding and baby boo
1:07:23 reels it in himself. Three up, three
1:07:26 down. First scoreless frame for
1:07:28 Ethridge. Beautifully done. Speaking of
1:07:31 beauty, who doesn't love this country?
1:07:33 Who doesn't love freedom? And who
1:07:35 doesn't love the official nonpro not for
1:07:37 profofit here in Banana Land, Bananas
1:07:40 Foster? We go down to Victoria without a
1:07:42 permanent home. To raise awareness and
1:07:45 support this community, we created
1:07:47 Bananas Foster, the official nonprofit
1:07:51 of Banana Ball. Our organization is
1:07:54 dedicated to celebrating those in the
1:07:57 foster care community while educating
1:07:59 and inspiring others to get involved.
1:08:02 And tonight, we are celebrating the Keen
1:08:06 family.
1:08:08 When Michael and Savannah learned about
1:08:10 the need for foster families in their
1:08:12 community, they were eager to get
1:08:14 involved. So, nine years ago, they
1:08:17 became licensed with a goal of providing
1:08:20 care for medically fragile kiddos. In
1:08:23 total, this family has welcomed 14
1:08:27 children into their home.
1:08:32 fans, please help us celebrate this
1:08:35 family for their impact in the foster
1:08:38 care community.
1:08:46 Oh, the kids want to run the bases.
1:08:49 And why not? What a beautiful moment on
1:08:53 Independence Day, celebrating those who
1:08:55 make a real impact right here in the
1:08:57 Sunshine State.
1:08:59 As always, if you want to make an impact
1:09:01 as well, you can support Bananas Foster.
1:09:03 It's as simple as a text to the word
1:09:04 bunch, b
1:09:06 to the number 50155.
1:09:09 You can support Bananas Foster today.
1:09:11 It's fans first by every definition of
1:09:13 the phrase, as is the Banana Ball
1:09:15 backstage question of the day.
1:09:22 >> Winner's first Banana Ball game. This
1:09:25 7-year-old has the sparkly patriotic
1:09:27 hair for this July 4th. It's kind of
1:09:30 pointy. You have a question. Banana Bell
1:09:32 backstage for Peyton Shatan. What's your
1:09:35 question for Peyton?
1:09:36 >> How did he get so good?
1:09:38 >> How did I get so good? Uh, well, I think
1:09:41 you might have the wrong guy. I'm really
1:09:43 good. I'm a vibes guy. I'm a team team
1:09:45 player. Um, I let Dane hit all the home
1:09:47 runs. I let Pump do all the flexion and
1:09:49 I just cheer him on. That's my job.
1:09:53 >> A Payton, you're great at your job. But
1:09:56 Humble, the Old Miss Prada, starting
1:09:59 second baseman for the Coconuts,
1:10:02 one of a few that look to be catching a
1:10:04 vibe right now. JD Erso front and
1:10:08 center. He's due up again. I'm not one
1:10:12 to read the future, but reading between
1:10:15 the lines here, I think we're getting a
1:10:16 JD Erso signature walk up. And to that,
1:10:19 I say thank you, sir. May I have
1:10:20 another? It'll be a fourth straight
1:10:23 weekend with a signature walk up for JD
1:10:25 Erso. He's quickly become a dancing star
1:10:28 on the beach, surrounded by his
1:10:30 teammates on towels, feeling the good
1:10:33 vibrations, feeling the Florida sun.
1:10:36 Let's check in with
1:10:37 >> JD
1:10:49 on the microg.
1:10:51 All people in the dance will agree that
1:10:54 we're well qualified to represent the
1:10:58 me and me we run to the party and dance
1:11:01 to the harder.
1:11:12 >> Welcome to the LBC.
1:11:16 It's the loco beach coconuts world.
1:11:18 We're living in it. And JD Erso is ready
1:11:21 for a tarps off at bat against David
1:11:23 Griffin that starts with a miss outside.
1:11:28 >> And at every turn of his career, JD Erso
1:11:31 has been just sublime.
1:11:34 No different here on the beach.
1:11:37 >> Division 2 record holder. 93 game on
1:11:39 base streak for Erso. Starting shortstop
1:11:41 at the University of Miami. National
1:11:44 champion under his father Joe Erso at
1:11:46 Tampa.
1:11:51 Russo had the best at bat of the game
1:11:53 last night. A fight that kept the ninth
1:11:55 inning going.
1:11:58 >> Oh wow. JD was adamant he had a fourth
1:12:01 ball there. Instead he's got to get his
1:12:03 beer gear back. Not a beer. Not yet. Got
1:12:06 a game to play.
1:12:09 Swinging a full count. Battled off into
1:12:12 the sky. Fans on the first base side.
1:12:14 What say you? Bring a club. I'll tell
1:12:16 you what, if you've got the beverages
1:12:18 flowing right now, can you cheers to
1:12:20 banana ball? Cheers to America. Clink
1:12:24 s
1:12:26 ball for sprint. JD Erso,
1:12:30 >> a rarity. He holds it first base,
1:12:34 but that's good situational awareness.
1:12:36 His legs represent the inning winning
1:12:38 run.
1:12:41 And that is crucial in in the way that
1:12:43 we have seen the Coconuts run the bases
1:12:45 in this series and really all season
1:12:47 long. They have been so aggressive at
1:12:50 sending guys. We saw Payton Shatany do
1:12:52 that in night number one that
1:12:55 essentially sealed the game scoring from
1:12:56 first on a ball four sprint.
1:12:59 >> These guys got green lights.
1:13:02 >> Freddy Morgan made the last out in last
1:13:05 night's game.
1:13:07 >> I like that green lights. Again, there's
1:13:10 no red lights at Loco Beach.
1:13:12 >> Also, no middle seats. The planes at
1:13:14 Loco Beach, just aisles and windows.
1:13:16 >> Now, that I can get behind the red
1:13:19 lights thing. All right. No middle
1:13:21 seats. I'm there.
1:13:23 >> Well, you don't have much of a choice.
1:13:25 You're here right now.
1:13:27 >> I got stuck in the middle seat in cars
1:13:28 all the time, AJ. Slight vertically
1:13:31 challenged.
1:13:35 Brady Morgan makes it backto-back plate
1:13:37 appearances where a coconut felt they
1:13:39 saw ball four and has to get back in the
1:13:40 box. He wants the same success Özo found
1:13:47 battles it off over the grand stand and
1:13:48 into the parking lot.
1:14:00 >> Payoff again.
1:14:03 >> Griffin misses down and in.
1:14:05 JD Erso cruises into third. Grady Morgan
1:14:08 wants two. He's got it. Heavy base
1:14:11 running from Grady Morgan.
1:14:14 Force no longer anywhere but first. And
1:14:17 backto-back ball four sprints. And the
1:14:19 inning winning run 90 ft from scoring.
1:14:22 And Loco Beach's first lead in game
1:14:24 number three is that far as well.
1:14:27 >> David Griffin a long look back at home
1:14:30 plate. thought he had enough for strike
1:14:33 three there in his first punch out of
1:14:34 the game and instead it's a drastically
1:14:37 different scenario. A lot of ways the
1:14:40 Coconuts can walk this off.
1:14:42 >> Shot right back to Griffin. Oh, nice
1:14:45 move. David Griffin not only looks off
1:14:47 the runner but gets a trick play. The
1:14:49 starter goes between the legs for the
1:14:51 clowns fifth trick of the night.
1:14:53 >> How about that for some coonus?
1:14:58 A lot of traffic inning on the line.
1:15:01 I'll just get my fourth trick play of
1:15:03 the season.
1:15:06 >> Here's dual threat Brett. Oh no. Carson
1:15:09 won't have to do anything because JD
1:15:11 Erso watches it scoop by Joe Lidle and
1:15:14 does a boot scoot and boogie to home
1:15:15 plate. It's a 2-1 Coconuts lead on a
1:15:19 ball that gets to the back stop. Backto
1:15:21 back points in back-to-back innings for
1:15:23 the Nuts. Let's celebrate.
1:15:41 Oh, Jordan Brewer
1:15:44 with Kenzy's signature move, the splits.
1:15:49 Coconuts win the inning
1:15:52 >> on this pitch that went through the five
1:15:53 hole. Good read from Erso. He was able
1:15:56 to score on his feet
1:16:00 >> and let Brewer show off the flexibility
1:16:10 >> sitting on Saturn
1:16:13 playing out in the lifeguard towers in
1:16:14 left center.
1:16:19 Those guys have such good range to their
1:16:21 music. They're they're singing Country
1:16:22 Roads Take Me Home right now. Then you
1:16:25 hear them do Bob Marley. You hear their
1:16:27 original songs. Wabe now out on all
1:16:30 platforms. I am a big sitting on Saturn
1:16:33 guy. Enough to the point where I don't
1:16:35 really buy merch
1:16:37 period, but really not for musicians. I
1:16:40 have one of each of their t-shirts.
1:16:41 >> Oh man, look at you turning it around.
1:16:44 >> I mean, I'm always sitting on a rainbow.
1:16:47 >> The only thing potentially better than
1:16:49 being happy enough to always sit on a
1:16:50 rainbow is to always sit on Saturn.
1:16:53 If you like it, then you should have put
1:16:54 a ring on it.
1:16:55 >> I'll tell you what, I like what we see
1:16:57 on deck right now. The clowns
1:16:59 >> setting up for a signature walk up. Here
1:17:01 we go.
1:17:12 >> You
1:17:14 got to do it in the penthouse. That's
1:17:16 why I came up
1:17:18 with what you got. I'll see you with
1:17:21 your phone down. Let's get it. Forget
1:17:23 your Instagram or your Twitter. Be like,
1:17:25 "Whoa, wait a minute.
1:17:28 Take a minute."
1:17:36 You got to relax.
1:17:39 >> Hear that Drake toll. Throw some perm on
1:17:41 your attitude.
1:17:43 >> Don't have to tell him twice.
1:17:50 Dale Francis Jr. has already made a
1:17:52 splash in this game. That one point on
1:17:55 the board for the Clowns via his home
1:17:58 run in the first and then David Griffin
1:18:00 shut it down with a three trick play
1:18:02 inning.
1:18:04 first ever player for Loco Beach and a
1:18:07 representative for the United States of
1:18:10 America on the US women's national team
1:18:15 number 222
1:18:17 Donite
1:18:24 D. Bonitez is in the game to catch
1:18:28 by request of Will Ethridge. It's her
1:18:30 final game before leaving for the WPBL.
1:18:33 Eth said DA has earned this opportunity
1:18:36 and she has. Bonitez is catching this
1:18:40 fourth inning.
1:18:50 Today had herself a night last night.
1:18:53 Had a pinch hit appearance. Drew a ball
1:18:55 for sprint. This place went bananas.
1:18:57 9,000 and more. Francis Jr. over to
1:19:00 Saljacobo. He gets it to Brewer. It's a
1:19:03 snag between the legs. Great job to keep
1:19:05 the back foot on the bag for out number
1:19:07 one.
1:19:09 Bonitez.
1:19:10 First half bat. She calls. Gets weak
1:19:13 contact. Zjacobos has let it grow. It's
1:19:16 a double trick play for the Coconuts.
1:19:19 >> Bonitez
1:19:21 continuing to show her proise behind the
1:19:24 plate. One up, one down with two2 back
1:19:26 there. It's a quick 01 count for Joe
1:19:29 Lidle.
1:19:31 >> Hey AJ, do you remember the sixth inning
1:19:33 on Thursday night?
1:19:35 >> I'll forgive you if you don't. It was
1:19:37 the last time we had an inning without a
1:19:39 point in this series.
1:19:43 >> Wow.
1:19:44 >> It feels like forever ago and also a
1:19:47 blink of an eye ago.
1:19:50 >> Time flies when you're having fun.
1:19:58 Mitch misses upstairs. 3-1 count now.
1:20:01 Bonitez pulls three fingers in the sky,
1:20:03 telling the outfield to get in.
1:20:07 3-1 turns 3-2. Lidle's fouled off a
1:20:09 couple.
1:20:12 Looking for his second spread of the
1:20:13 game. And you know Joe Lidle, he likes
1:20:15 hits. He's only got one of them in this
1:20:17 series. And that was the go-ahead home
1:20:20 run last night on CJ Williams.
1:20:25 spoiled
1:20:26 >> and he told me about that homer. He
1:20:28 said, "Never faced CJ before. Saw he's
1:20:30 pretty good. Didn't really want to see
1:20:32 the stuff. I'm going to smack at the
1:20:34 first one." It worked.
1:20:39 Lidle another slow roller. Baby Boo's
1:20:40 got to cover the bag. Brewer goes
1:20:42 between the legs. It's nifty and it's
1:20:44 got him. These nuts are tricky. How
1:20:47 about nine trick plays for Loco Beach?
1:20:49 We're not out of the fourth inning.
1:20:51 As tight as the trick play races have
1:20:54 been in these first two games, they were
1:20:56 slow developing. We were talking single
1:20:58 digits for both. I don't think that's
1:21:00 going to be the case tonight. They have
1:21:02 been off and running both teams.
1:21:05 So follow me now. Bonitez behind the
1:21:08 plate, two batters faced, two outs. Can
1:21:12 222 make it three straight.
1:21:15 >> Oh, nice pitch from
1:21:18 >> ducked under Prime's barrel.
1:21:25 Two-1 count now. Ethridge just over 60
1:21:28 pitches into his Fourth of July start.
1:21:31 He's got a 2-1 lead.
1:21:36 Baby Boo pitched on the 4th of July in
1:21:39 his pro debut and left the field to
1:21:41 booze in front of his home park. Now
1:21:44 here in Banana Land, message me is all
1:21:46 about spreading love, spreading joy.
1:21:48 Average has rebound himself. Duch's wild
1:21:51 pitch. Got him to go around. D Bonitez
1:21:55 calls a perfect inning. Three up, three
1:21:58 out. Ethan, Bonitez, the dynamic duo,
1:22:01 and they're hitting the baby boo
1:22:03 together and hugging it out.
1:22:07 >> Hey baby, what do you say? Today Bonitez
1:22:10 is stealing the deck. Over 9,000 on
1:22:14 their feet.
1:22:15 Women belong in baseball. Bonitz belongs
1:22:18 both there and in Banana Land. And in
1:22:21 Banana Land, we've got a tradition
1:22:22 unlike any other. It's hey baby time
1:22:25 here at Bystar Ballpark.
1:22:38 Everybody
1:22:40 go.
1:22:44 Hey, baby.
1:22:54 >> Here we go again.
1:23:05 >> Be my girl.
1:23:07 All right, get ready in those steps.
1:23:22 Okay, here we go again.
1:23:35 >> All right, last one right here.
1:23:44 I want to know
1:23:47 you could be my girl.
1:23:51 >> Jacksonville, give yourselves a round of
1:23:53 applause. That was absolutely amazing.
1:24:03 >> Wow. We made it through Hey Baby and I
1:24:05 didn't spill my smoothie.
1:24:08 >> It's the first time for everything.
1:24:10 >> It's a modern miracle. As is banana
1:24:13 ball.
1:24:14 Once a vision from Jesse Cole come to
1:24:18 fruition.
1:24:20 Like only he and a select few saw.
1:24:23 And how lucky are we
1:24:26 >> to work under such a great visionary?
1:24:32 Jesse Cole's vision live and in living
1:24:35 color. It's banana ball. It's the two
1:24:37 newest teams as Brett Carson up for the
1:24:40 second time and as many innings as David
1:24:42 Griffin's wild pitch the last time up
1:24:46 scored the inning winning run.
1:24:54 That's the second straight night that a
1:24:55 walk-off comes with a ball getting by
1:24:57 the catcher. Now, technically last night
1:24:59 it ends on a sto steal of first base,
1:25:02 but the run's really scoring on the wild
1:25:04 pitch, and you saw it again in that
1:25:06 third inning. Any way to get points on
1:25:08 the board this series.
1:25:10 >> Eli Payton's been a busy man at third,
1:25:12 but that one gobbles him up. Two out of
1:25:14 the hot corner. That's why it has that
1:25:16 name. Brett Carson's on safely at first.
1:25:20 >> The corner, like the block, is certainly
1:25:22 hot tonight.
1:25:26 just eat you alive down there. In
1:25:28 >> that case, drop it like a top.
1:25:31 >> I'll get right on that.
1:25:33 >> Lineup turns over for Ben Pumps Parker.
1:25:42 >> Oh, one to Pumps. Right back to Payton.
1:25:44 Oh, it's over his glove again. Eli
1:25:46 Payton. Backto-back balls in play. Hit
1:25:48 to him. Backto back balls in left field
1:25:51 and backto-back runners in scoring
1:25:53 position. Loco Beach in the driver's
1:25:55 seat to walk off the fourth.
1:25:58 >> This one had an absolute vapor trail
1:26:00 behind it from the people's biceps. Ben
1:26:03 Parker,
1:26:04 that's two really tough plays for Eli
1:26:07 Payton to start this inning. If he makes
1:26:10 one of them, it's pretty impressive,
1:26:15 but I don't think either one was in his
1:26:17 favor.
1:26:19 >> Couple of toughs to the third baseman.
1:26:21 have two ducks on the pond for Loco
1:26:23 Beach.
1:26:25 Tanner Allen can get one to splash down
1:26:27 behind the infield that's playing in. It
1:26:28 will walk off this inning.
1:26:32 Oh, what a play. Webj Kirkland Bank
1:26:36 steals it from the sky and keeps this
1:26:38 inning going.
1:26:41 Look what I found.
1:26:45 Like a gator trap. Kirkland Banks might
1:26:49 save an inning for these clowns.
1:26:53 >> I was going to ask what a gator trap
1:26:54 was, but I think it's self-explanatory.
1:26:56 >> It's that right there.
1:27:01 >> Dave Tufflin says, "I'll walk it off on
1:27:02 the very next pitch." Big Timber
1:27:07 drives in Brett Carson and the Coconuts
1:27:10 double their lead.
1:27:11 You've got to go back to the sixth
1:27:13 inning of game one of this three-game
1:27:15 series to find the last inning. That
1:27:17 didn't result in a point.
1:27:19 >> The coconuts out in their way with David
1:27:21 Griffin.
1:27:24 >> It's a 3-1 advantage for Loco Beach.
1:27:26 That sends us to the wig party down on
1:27:29 the field.
1:27:32 W right now. They have one main goal to
1:27:37 capture and grab the wig that is on the
1:27:40 mound. The first one to do so will
1:27:43 complete their fit and be the ultimate
1:27:46 founding father. Nick, Nathan, and
1:27:49 Alexander, are you ready? They're ready.
1:27:52 On your marks, get set, go. Snatch that
1:27:58 wig. There ain't no party like a wig
1:28:00 party. The wig is getting away. Nick and
1:28:04 Nathan are closing in on him. Oh, but
1:28:06 there's a tackle happening. He's going
1:28:08 down.
1:28:10 Give it up for your completed founding
1:28:13 father.
1:28:15 Give it up for Nathan.
1:28:24 Ah, yes. Give it up for the completed
1:28:26 founded father, Nathan.
1:28:31 >> The history books will tell you that the
1:28:33 wig party disbanded in 1854.
1:28:36 But here in Banana, here on the beach,
1:28:39 we are having ourselves a wig party.
1:28:44 You would know that.
1:28:46 I love you, Cam.
1:28:49 >> What?
1:28:49 >> Say it back.
1:28:50 >> Kansas Nebraska act.
1:28:52 >> Say it back. I love the Kansas Nebraska
1:28:55 act almost as much as I love you. AJ
1:28:57 Switzer,
1:28:58 >> you had me in the first half, not going
1:28:59 to lie.
1:29:01 >> That might be the dagger.
1:29:05 Here's Nicole
1:29:07 falling off the first pitch, too. And
1:29:09 Will Ethridge, man. I mean, what a
1:29:11 feelood story. You know that it's a
1:29:14 feel-good story when it's my mom and
1:29:15 grandma's favorite player. Will Ethridge
1:29:18 is that, by the way, JD Erso, one of my
1:29:20 favorites, goes behind the back. It's a
1:29:22 trick play for the third baseman. Will
1:29:24 Ethric through his mental health journey
1:29:26 has been so open, helped so many realize
1:29:28 that what they're dealing with isn't all
1:29:30 that unique and that there's people in
1:29:33 your life you can reach out to.
1:29:35 Ethridge, a face of maturity,
1:29:38 face of reinventing yourself, is
1:29:40 rewriting his Fourth of July history
1:29:42 books. That's one down in the fifth
1:29:44 inning.
1:29:46 All the clowns thought about getting to
1:29:48 that one. They've been doing the
1:29:49 Macarena.
1:29:50 They've been doing pretty much
1:29:52 everything over there with the third
1:29:53 base umpire Chris Walker.
1:29:55 Now they watch a line drive into the
1:29:57 alley. Eli Payton not going to stop at
1:30:00 first. Takes a weird car. Ben Parker's
1:30:02 got it. But it's a stand up double for
1:30:04 Payton with one down.
1:30:08 >> Eli Payton needed a series like this.
1:30:11 Three extra base hits in three games.
1:30:14 And after the inning that we saw in the
1:30:16 top half of the fifth where he just had
1:30:18 laser after laser hit his way, he needed
1:30:21 a swing like that. Eli Payton a couple
1:30:24 of doubles and a dinger here in
1:30:27 Jacksonville.
1:30:28 >> Brings up Chris Burgess. Will Ethridge
1:30:30 quickly brings out the sword. No action
1:30:33 in either bullpen yet. Starters being
1:30:36 given long leashes on day three after
1:30:38 bullpens have been emptied through the
1:30:39 first two. Gideon Antel's got a long
1:30:42 running right. He dives and can't get
1:30:43 it. Eli Payton's moving to third. Chris
1:30:46 Burgess holds it first. And there's
1:30:49 runners on the corners with one down on
1:30:51 a little flare shot to right field.
1:30:53 That American flag waving in Eli
1:30:56 Payton's back pocket. But Eric Fox wise
1:30:59 to not wave him in. Gideon Antel covers
1:31:01 a ton of ground out there. There's
1:31:04 absolutely no guarantee that he is going
1:31:06 to miss that with the way he's played
1:31:08 this weekend. Now you got runners at the
1:31:11 corners and a good chance to answer.
1:31:14 >> Donut batter Kirkland Banks comes up for
1:31:16 a second time.
1:31:23 >> Swinging miss on his first one. Two more
1:31:25 of those. Earns free Dunkin' Donuts here
1:31:27 in Jacksonville.
1:31:30 >> Hit into a trick play his first time up
1:31:32 in the second inning. Now in his second
1:31:34 try, Banks hits it right up the middle.
1:31:37 Jacobo can't get to it. Eli Payton's in
1:31:39 to score. It's an RBI single for
1:31:41 Kirkland Banks to get the Clowns on the
1:31:43 board in the fifth.
1:31:46 >> Kirkland Banks starting to feel himself
1:31:49 the last couple of weekends. Had an RBI
1:31:52 last night with a base knock as well.
1:31:54 Stolen base and here he is in game
1:31:57 number three
1:31:59 giving the Clowns the advantage in the
1:32:01 inning.
1:32:03 >> Runners on first and second. Flash the
1:32:05 kid. The designated runners taken over
1:32:07 on the Keystone set. Long foul ball gets
1:32:11 over the netting. Oh, that one with the
1:32:14 glove. Almost had it. Jumping effort on
1:32:16 the third base side. Just a long strike.
1:32:25 >> Vasquez hit the homer that eventually
1:32:27 tied the game at fours last night to
1:32:28 right field.
1:32:30 0 for one today. 02 the count.
1:32:35 He was absolutely frozen by Will
1:32:37 Ethridge in that first at bat. Thought
1:32:39 he had a ball for sprint. Instead, back
1:32:41 to the dugout.
1:32:43 >> Important with Vasquez, you don't want
1:32:44 to let the 236 batting average fool you.
1:32:47 This is one of the premier played
1:32:49 appearances in the league. His on base
1:32:51 percentage is 378.
1:32:53 Full 142 above his batting average.
1:32:55 That's because he's so disciplined and
1:32:56 he works ball for sprints better than
1:32:58 anyone else in this clubhouse.
1:33:03 He's been in the top two of all four
1:33:05 sprint percentage on the Clowns the
1:33:07 entire season. Even when the at bats
1:33:09 haven't been there or the plate
1:33:11 appearances, I should say, haven't been
1:33:13 there.
1:33:15 He is a tough guy to knock out.
1:33:18 >> Vasquez hard hit ball left center field.
1:33:21 This one takes a dive on the warning
1:33:23 track and one hops into the wall. Flash
1:33:25 the kids in to score. Here comes
1:33:27 Kirkland Banks. It's a two RBI double
1:33:29 for Jaylen Vasquez. And the Clouds have
1:33:32 a three-run advantage in the fifth.
1:33:37 >> Jaylen Vasquez, welcome back. Homer,
1:33:41 RBI, double. Get your whole team
1:33:43 dancing.
1:34:03 And a good bounce on that play too. It
1:34:05 looked like that ball was going to hop
1:34:07 out of play. Would have been a ground
1:34:09 rule double and saved a run. Instead
1:34:12 hits off the top of that fence on the
1:34:13 carum. Kirkland banks in to score as
1:34:15 well.
1:34:16 >> Bobby Leay nubbed to first. Jordan
1:34:18 Brewer brings it in basket style in
1:34:20 front of his waist for out number two.
1:34:31 >> Two outs now. Bring up Jackie Bradley
1:34:34 Jr. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. Here come the
1:34:38 tsunami sirens. Here comes the sprinkler
1:34:41 system. Wilco Beach has yet to surrender
1:34:44 a run when the tsunami ensues on the
1:34:47 field.
1:34:50 Looks like they just found that same
1:34:52 success in front of the sprinklers.
1:34:53 Tanner Allen brings it in.
1:34:57 And Jackie Bradley Junior's out for an
1:34:59 eighth straight time in this series.
1:35:02 Before we go to the bottom of the fifth
1:35:03 inning, today more than ever, ladies and
1:35:05 gentlemen, I tip my broadcast headset as
1:35:08 we go down to the field and into the
1:35:09 grand stands with a salute to service.
1:35:11 All of our members of the United States
1:35:14 military, both past and present, please
1:35:18 rise.
1:35:30 and the hometown of France
1:35:38 and commitment to our country,
1:35:47 to our police officers,
1:35:51 to our fire,
1:35:56 to our medical professionals,
1:36:01 to our EMS workers,
1:36:06 to our dispatchers,
1:36:10 and to our school teachers.
1:36:17 The coconuts and clouds, thank you for
1:36:19 your service.
1:36:29 What a special moment on Independence
1:36:31 Day. A salute to service. Over 9,000 in
1:36:34 attendance. And now we've got a real
1:36:36 treat. One of my favorites in all of
1:36:38 Banana Land, the 13-year professional.
1:36:41 Savannah Banana turned Indianapolis
1:36:43 clown. Carell Prime. How we doing?
1:36:46 >> Hey, I'm doing great, baby. How we
1:36:47 doing?
1:36:48 >> Oh, man. I'm sitting on a rainbow today,
1:36:50 Prime.
1:36:50 >> I love that.
1:36:51 >> Every time I get to talk to you, it's
1:36:53 always great vibes. And you've honestly
1:36:54 got the loco beach mentality down to a
1:36:57 tea. We talked today before the game
1:36:58 about how it's always process over
1:37:00 results. Can you let the fans in on the
1:37:02 great conversation we had about why for
1:37:04 you entertaining is always more
1:37:05 important than a win or loss?
1:37:07 >> Yeah, absolutely, man. For for any job,
1:37:09 any employee, working for an employer,
1:37:11 you want transparency. And uh Jesse Cole
1:37:13 does an incredible job of being
1:37:15 transparent with his players in his
1:37:16 organization. And he always preaches
1:37:18 fans first and we entertain always. So
1:37:21 nowhere in that sentence is there hit
1:37:23 homers first or be the best player on
1:37:26 the field first. It's fans first, nice
1:37:30 play, Bobby boy.
1:37:31 >> Fans first, entertain always. And um
1:37:33 that's all I try to do out here, man.
1:37:35 >> Well, that mic pop sounds great on your
1:37:38 glove. By the way, get used to that.
1:37:39 Prime, I want to take a trip into the
1:37:41 time machine. All the way back before
1:37:42 the season, we're sitting and having
1:37:45 dinner in the backyard. I remember a
1:37:46 quote that stuck with me to this day.
1:37:48 You said you will never let the little
1:37:50 yellow ball affect your attitude and you
1:37:53 have held true to that about as much as
1:37:55 anybody.
1:37:56 >> Absolutely, man. I feel like I'm over
1:37:57 the century right now and I'm having
1:37:59 just as much fun as I've had in weeks
1:38:01 where I can't get out. So, yeah, man.
1:38:03 The yellow little yellow ball will never
1:38:05 frustrate me. I would try my best to
1:38:07 never let it frustrate me. That little
1:38:08 white ball on the golf course might, but
1:38:10 not not the yellow one. Um, and just
1:38:13 what a pleasure, man, to be doing this
1:38:14 and to be able to entertain a great
1:38:17 group of people every time we step on
1:38:19 the field. It's it's pretty amazing.
1:38:21 >> Now, I want to get more nitty-gritty
1:38:22 into banana ball, but I've got to know
1:38:24 >> that was dangerous.
1:38:25 >> You had to play 18 innings. Sorry, 18
1:38:27 holes
1:38:28 >> with just one club in your bag. What
1:38:30 would it be?
1:38:31 >> Oh, man.
1:38:33 Probably a seven iron, man. I'm starting
1:38:36 all the old heads I play with are
1:38:37 starting to rub off on me. You can use a
1:38:39 seven iron pretty much anywhere in their
1:38:40 boat. Now, you don't have to out them
1:38:42 because you did just call them old
1:38:43 heads, but who do you golf with?
1:38:46 >> An old head. Jackie Bradley Jr.
1:38:49 >> Hey, old to my boy out there.
1:38:52 >> Yeah, we get on the course a lot and we
1:38:54 love it. It's very comparable to the
1:38:56 game that we're playing right now.
1:38:58 Banana ball, baseball, it doesn't
1:38:59 matter, man. We We always have the music
1:39:01 pumping out there. Uh we enjoy being in
1:39:03 nature for 4 hours, kind of unplugging,
1:39:05 getting away, having great conversation,
1:39:07 and meeting cool people while we're
1:39:08 doing it. So, it's a lot a lot of what
1:39:09 we do here in Banana Land.
1:39:11 >> Prime Visitor, Savannah Banana, now
1:39:13 Indianapolis Clown. How has your
1:39:14 experience helped you become a leader in
1:39:16 this clubhouse?
1:39:17 >> Um, it has a lot because I'll tell
1:39:18 everybody, man, when I came into Banana
1:39:20 Ball, I came in very open-minded and
1:39:22 very committed to doing whatever was
1:39:25 asked of me as a Banana Ball player. Um,
1:39:27 shout out to the guys over at the
1:39:28 Bananas, uh, Bill Loy, Kyle Lugs, Dan
1:39:31 Over, all the guys who were here before
1:39:34 me and kind of pioneered this sport. you
1:39:36 know, I really sat with them after every
1:39:38 game, picked their ear just to hear
1:39:40 about what this truly is because I
1:39:42 didn't want to come in and be a burden.
1:39:44 You know, I had my career, it came and
1:39:46 went on the professional baseball side,
1:39:48 but now I'm a banana baller and I want
1:39:50 to help push this thing forward as best
1:39:52 as I can. Man, that's that's honestly
1:39:55 um just been a true pleasure for me to
1:39:57 have that opportunity to kind of just
1:39:58 move move the game forward.
1:40:01 and Prime, kind of in that same vein,
1:40:03 you know, very in very quick succession,
1:40:05 you become a new banana ball player to
1:40:07 one of the real leaders, one of the
1:40:09 veterans on this team.
1:40:10 >> What has your leadership style been with
1:40:12 this group of almost all rookies with a
1:40:15 new team like the Clowns?
1:40:16 >> Dude, I call these kids iPad kids. I
1:40:18 said, "It's crazy." I came in in 2012.
1:40:20 I'm not old by any means, but we
1:40:22 definitely didn't have iPads when I got
1:40:24 drafted and uh or in high school or in
1:40:26 elementary school, middle school. I
1:40:27 remember begging my mom for a flip phone
1:40:29 in fifth grade. So, uh, you know, it's
1:40:31 uncharted territory and so the tech age
1:40:33 is very real and um, a lot of what we do
1:40:36 involves digital. You know, we're we're
1:40:39 putting stuff out on social media. Okay,
1:40:42 Bonnie sniffing that hit. You sniffing
1:40:44 that. Homer, you smelling that? You're
1:40:46 smelling that.
1:40:48 >> Can you tell Ashby I say hi?
1:40:49 >> Hey, man. AJ, say what up?
1:40:52 >> Um, he's gone.
1:40:53 >> Yeah, but it's been a real treat. Like I
1:40:54 said, I came in with an open mind. and
1:40:56 allowing these guys to help me, you
1:40:58 know, maturate on that side, too, man.
1:41:00 Just to learn what what makes them go,
1:41:02 what makes them tick, what they're into,
1:41:04 the trends, the viral stuff. So,
1:41:07 >> it's cool, man. It's cool to be alive
1:41:09 and and living and really just being
1:41:10 open to everything.
1:41:12 >> All right, Prime, we get two outs here.
1:41:14 >> Here we go.
1:41:15 >> And this this could be the end of it.
1:41:17 And by the time we play again, there
1:41:18 will be no more FIFA left. So, who is
1:41:20 your World Cup pick?
1:41:21 >> How can I not go USA? You know, what a
1:41:24 disservice that would be. on Fourth of
1:41:26 July. And to you, Cam, I know you're a
1:41:28 USA fan, rightfully so.
1:41:31 >> Let's go, big boys. Let's see what we
1:41:32 can do. Man, it seems like it seems like
1:41:34 a tricky World Cup this year, honestly.
1:41:36 >> It's been a lot of fun behind the
1:41:38 scenes. Prime and I have been talking a
1:41:39 lot about it. I love that pick and I
1:41:42 love having Carell Prime on the mic.
1:41:43 >> Hey, love you guys, man. Thank you very
1:41:45 much. Always a pleasure chatting it
1:41:47 over, y'all. Shout out to Banana Nation.
1:41:49 Banana Ball Nation, I should say. Love
1:41:52 you guys.
1:41:53 >> Thank you, Prime.
1:41:53 >> Love you, Prime. Thank you, sir.
1:41:56 >> What a pleasure it is to have a
1:41:57 personality like that here in Banana.
1:41:59 Someone who truly gets it
1:42:01 >> now. A leader for the Indianapolis
1:42:03 Clowns.
1:42:05 >> We go down to the field with no shoes,
1:42:08 no shirt, no problem.
1:42:09 >> They're going to start here at first
1:42:10 base, then run over to second. At
1:42:12 second, they're going to flip off their
1:42:14 shoes and then race over to third where
1:42:16 they will rip off their shirts and then
1:42:19 with no problem run and jump into the
1:42:22 pool by home. Zach and Andrew, on your
1:42:27 marks, get set, go. We got a slipping
1:42:32 start, but it's still anyone's race at
1:42:35 this point. Those shoes are coming off.
1:42:38 They were wishing they didn't have laces
1:42:39 on them, but it is still a dead even
1:42:42 tie. Those shirts come off, but no, he's
1:42:45 struggled a little bit. Andrew
1:42:47 struggled. Zach struggled to find the
1:42:49 pool. So, Andrew jumps and he wins
1:42:53 with a little bit of confusion. It just
1:42:56 goes to show that you do not need shoes
1:42:59 or a shirt to be a winner.
1:43:10 The Clowns win the point. They tie up
1:43:12 this ball game. Dale Francis Jr. going
1:43:14 to lead this off. The Clowns number 44
1:43:17 and the most famous number 44 of all.
1:43:20 Started his career with the Indianapolis
1:43:22 Clowns. Hank Aaron back in 1953, played
1:43:27 a couple of months, signed with the
1:43:28 Boston Braves, and a few months after he
1:43:31 was a clown, he was playing right here
1:43:34 in our great host city of Jacksonville.
1:43:37 Jacksonville Braves 73 years ago,
1:43:43 >> an original Indianapolis clown and went
1:43:45 on to inspire millions as a trailblazer
1:43:49 and one of the greatest athletes this
1:43:51 country has ever produced. American hero
1:43:53 Hank Aaron here on the 4th of July.
1:43:57 >> That's awesome. I mean, this team is
1:43:58 literally living history.
1:44:02 >> It lives, it breathes, it goes to the
1:44:04 beach.
1:44:06 And it has been a treat, I'll tell you,
1:44:07 AJ, it has been a treat to bring the
1:44:09 clowns all over the country, to see so
1:44:12 many people learning about the Clowns,
1:44:14 embracing the Clowns, and they have fit
1:44:17 right in in Banana Ball. This is
1:44:18 perfect.
1:44:20 >> You just feel something when you watch
1:44:21 the Indianapolis Clowns take the
1:44:23 baseball field.
1:44:26 >> So much history.
1:44:28 How beautifully it's been reborn.
1:44:30 >> Dale Francis Jr. dawning that number 44
1:44:33 that Hank Aaron did
1:44:36 nearly 70 years ago.
1:44:40 Works a ball force sprint and brings up
1:44:41 Joe Lidle who's doing a hair off with
1:44:43 Ashby Vining.
1:44:46 >> Man, that's a tough pick. YouTube chat,
1:44:48 I want to know whose hair do you like
1:44:49 more, Joe Lidle, Ashby Vining.
1:44:51 Obviously, both great heads of hair, so
1:44:53 no hard feelings. Uh-oh, Lidle doesn't
1:44:55 like this. We got a double trick play
1:44:56 opportunity. Just the one trick for
1:44:59 Jacobo. throw over gets by Jordan
1:45:01 Brewer. So, it's a fieldielder's choice
1:45:03 with an 11th trick for the Nuts.
1:45:07 >> And I just got to say before we go away
1:45:09 from it, that hair off between those
1:45:11 two, that's like Bob Feller versus Ted
1:45:13 Williams in their prime. That is that is
1:45:15 two of the best right there to ever do
1:45:18 it.
1:45:18 >> That's good. That's a reference I got.
1:45:20 >> You like that one?
1:45:21 >> I like that one a lot actually.
1:45:23 >> Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, except there's
1:45:26 no pitcher there.
1:45:35 YouTube chat seems super split on who's
1:45:37 got the better hair. It's a great
1:45:39 example that they both have great heads
1:45:41 of hair. And that's from someone who
1:45:42 takes his hair as seriously as about
1:45:44 anybody. I'll let you guys in on a
1:45:45 secret, YouTube.
1:45:48 I knew this would come up one day. I
1:45:51 knew it would.
1:45:55 If you want to know the secret to great
1:45:57 hair, it's doing the absolute least to
1:46:00 it.
1:46:02 The least to it. No product. I wash my
1:46:06 hair with lemon juice. Michelle.
1:46:09 >> So, that's the problem. I've just been
1:46:11 doing too much. That's how we got here.
1:46:15 >> My mom said, "Don't say that on the air.
1:46:17 They're going to think you're crazy.
1:46:18 Lemon juice naturally cleans your hair."
1:46:21 It does. It works for me.
1:46:26 Oh, Carell Prime right after he was on
1:46:28 the mic. Oh, but Johnny on the spot.
1:46:30 Tanner Allen
1:46:32 had enough of that swing. Two down now.
1:46:34 Will Ethridge through five and two/3 has
1:46:36 earned three points.
1:46:38 >> Now away from sending his team up to the
1:46:40 plate, only needing a run to walk off
1:46:42 the inning.
1:46:44 >> And I'm I'm a wishful thinker, AJ. I'm a
1:46:47 positive guy.
1:46:49 >> So positive, in fact, I just I gave the
1:46:50 Clowns an extra point.
1:46:53 Maybe that is manifesting. Is that what
1:46:55 they're calling it?
1:46:57 >> Love manifestation.
1:46:59 Also love a good tip drill. Ethridge
1:47:02 cuts off Vining and he's got it.
1:47:05 >> Will Ethridge post a scoreless top of
1:47:07 the sixth inning. The F factor dealing
1:47:10 today.
1:47:13 >> Gives his bats a prime opportunity to
1:47:16 double up the lead.
1:47:21 But
1:47:21 >> we're going to head down to the field
1:47:23 because there's no one I want to hear
1:47:24 from more than who's next to Michael
1:47:26 Schwarz right now. Michael, take your
1:47:27 time with this one. Introducing D
1:47:29 Bonitz.
1:47:32 >> Hey guys, we are here with D Bonitez.
1:47:34 Hard to hear you with all this crowd
1:47:36 noise. By the way, you got in to catch.
1:47:38 How did that go?
1:47:39 >> That was incredible.
1:47:41 >> I've been waiting for that. I have a lot
1:47:42 of fun doing it. That's that's my thing.
1:47:43 I love catching. So, it's good to be out
1:47:45 there.
1:47:46 >> I am so blessed. We are also blessed to
1:47:49 be in a game where Da Bonitez blesses us
1:47:53 with her presence. But we're going to
1:47:54 miss you. Can you tell us a little bit
1:47:56 about this experience with Team USA?
1:47:58 >> Yeah. So, in a couple weeks, I'm heading
1:47:59 out for Team USA. We got the women's
1:48:01 baseball World Cup coming up July 26th
1:48:03 or 22nd to the 26th. And then from
1:48:05 there, I'll be headed to the women's pro
1:48:07 uh pro baseball league.
1:48:08 >> Well, we wish you the best of luck.
1:48:09 You're going to be back and we're going
1:48:11 to be rooting you on USA. Go D. USA. Go
1:48:17 D. USA. Go D USA. Go D.
1:48:24 >> My dad's about to take his shirt off. I
1:48:25 got to go.
1:48:26 >> Yeah, that's electric. And I don't know
1:48:27 if you caught that on the back end. D
1:48:29 said, "My dad's about to take his shirt
1:48:30 off. I got to go." That's because it's
1:48:32 adult swim time and the adult men are
1:48:34 going tons off
1:48:36 >> here at Lo Beach.
1:48:37 >> That just usually happens in my house on
1:48:39 the 4th of July.
1:48:42 He just gets to a certain point of the
1:48:44 day. Bulldozer takes the shirt off. It's
1:48:48 probably popping off right now in
1:48:49 Rockwood, Massachusetts. USA go to Nay.
1:48:53 Cam Stewart's dad. Take off your shirt.
1:48:57 Fourth of July, middle of the sixth.
1:48:59 Coconuts lead at 3 to2.
1:49:02 Single run walks off this inning. It
1:49:04 starts with Grady Morton in the
1:49:05 left-handed box. David Griffin out for
1:49:06 another inning of work. Starts by
1:49:08 missing away. You know, meatball Joe
1:49:10 Filaminos pitched two days in a row. So,
1:49:12 I'm glad if he doesn't pitch tonight,
1:49:14 you got that opportunity to riff like
1:49:16 that.
1:49:16 >> Thank you. I had to get that off my
1:49:18 chest. I've been dying to do it.
1:49:20 >> And I know the chat is loving that, too.
1:49:23 >> Grady Morgan. Saltwater single into left
1:49:26 field. No, it's not. He wants two. Oh,
1:49:28 Morgan puts on the brakes quickly. It's
1:49:30 a good relay from Brian Dancer.
1:49:33 >> He would have been dead to rights.
1:49:37 Grady Morgan, he was upset last night.
1:49:40 He was the final out of the game. Tying
1:49:42 and winning runs were there in scoring
1:49:44 position. Beat himself up. Mark Croco
1:49:47 saying, "Of course." Mark Croco saying
1:49:49 that's not you, man. It's not you. All
1:49:50 right, chill. So far today, he's been on
1:49:53 twice. Crocco's exactly right. By the
1:49:56 way, obviously winning is fun. Most fun
1:49:59 thing is seeing the smiles and the
1:50:00 impact you have on all these fans, all
1:50:02 these lives.
1:50:04 Loco Beach.
1:50:06 You lose, you shrug it off. You just you
1:50:08 smile and you keep going. That's just
1:50:10 what we do here at the beach.
1:50:11 >> There's no true losses at the beach.
1:50:13 >> No.
1:50:14 >> Oh, hating shot. Tanya rips a line drive
1:50:16 foul.
1:50:18 >> And you're always winning when you're at
1:50:20 the surface.
1:50:20 >> Exactly. I mean, the record says 20 and
1:50:22 19 for Loco Beach. In my heart, it's 39
1:50:25 and0 because every day has been a win.
1:50:27 This has been an unbelievable journey in
1:50:29 this inaugural season. And the same goes
1:50:31 for the Indianapolis Clowns. 15 and 23.
1:50:33 Go on a limb and say, "Oh, wow. Payton
1:50:36 shot is rung up on a pitch he doesn't
1:50:38 agree with." But I'll go on a limb and
1:50:40 say those 38 days have all felt like
1:50:42 wins for the clowns, too. It's so
1:50:43 special what we get to do. It really is.
1:50:45 And I will never take it for granted.
1:50:48 Gratitude is the word that comes to
1:50:49 mind.
1:50:51 >> And you see the connection all the way
1:50:53 around this organization in this game.
1:50:56 Mark Croco in that same conversation
1:50:58 said he felt like faded betrayed him a
1:51:00 little bit. I'll tell you why in a sec.
1:51:02 >> Dual threat prep single into right
1:51:04 field. Again, you have to go all the way
1:51:06 back to the sixth inning of game one of
1:51:07 this three-game stint to find an inning
1:51:09 that didn't result in a point. David
1:51:10 Griffin wants to hold that troubling
1:51:13 trend right here. A ball on the ground
1:51:14 is what the doctor's ordering, but the
1:51:16 inning winning runs now in scoring
1:51:17 position. And the team's leader in on
1:51:19 base percentage, Ben Parker's into the
1:51:21 box.
1:51:22 >> So, Crocco saw me in my USA Miracle on
1:51:25 Ice Mike Rousion jersey yesterday.
1:51:27 Feeling patriotic, of course. casual
1:51:29 plug.
1:51:30 >> And he said, by the way, jersey of the
1:51:32 day at the Cam Stewart on Instagram,
1:51:35 >> every every game day
1:51:36 >> good.
1:51:37 >> But he said, "I saw that first thing in
1:51:39 the morning and thought win number 21 is
1:51:42 coming to the Coconuts tonight. Mike
1:51:44 Rouion, number 21,
1:51:46 delayed." Anyway,
1:51:49 >> long run for Nico Hollesizer. It drops
1:51:52 between him and Kirkland Banks, but
1:51:53 Holizer is able to get Brett Carson on
1:51:55 the bases because of where that Texas
1:51:58 Leager squeaked down.
1:52:00 Interesting. How often do you see a
1:52:02 fieldielder's choice from right field?
1:52:03 The answer is almost never. Only on a
1:52:06 ball hit exactly like that. And now it's
1:52:08 all up to Tanner Allen to walk off this
1:52:10 inning.
1:52:12 >> And let's see. It looks like a great
1:52:13 fake out job. Bullsizer looks like he's
1:52:15 under it. Kirkland Banks not quite
1:52:17 there. And you have to hold up. That's a
1:52:21 heads up baseball play here in banana
1:52:23 ball for Nico Holesizer to get the
1:52:25 force.
1:52:27 Not a lot of seven to six fielders
1:52:29 choices.
1:52:34 02 count now for Tanner Allen. He's had
1:52:37 himself a series. Really had himself a
1:52:40 few weeks here. Allen's been on fire.
1:52:43 The league's leader in hits. Fastest
1:52:45 player to 50 hits in banana ball
1:52:47 history. Now topple the 60 mark with
1:52:49 ease.
1:52:51 >> He's had himself a life on the diamond.
1:52:56 >> Won't have his life snatched from him
1:52:57 here by a fan at the plate, but boy oh
1:52:59 boy, he has. Played professional
1:53:02 baseball, national champion with
1:53:04 Mississippi State Bulldogs, national
1:53:07 player of the year, selected in the MLB
1:53:10 draft on three separate occasions.
1:53:13 Ellen does it all.
1:53:16 Here it's lofted to Jackie Bradley Jr.
1:53:18 left center field. JBJ brings it in and
1:53:21 for the first time since the sixth
1:53:23 inning on day one. We have an inning
1:53:25 with no points. It comes in the sixth
1:53:27 inning on day three. It's a 3-2 Coconuts
1:53:30 lead as we head to the top of the
1:53:31 seventh.
1:53:33 >> It has been that kind of entertainment
1:53:35 factor all series long that it's such a
1:53:38 rarity that we have a pointless inning.
1:53:43 And you've seen it in the offense.
1:53:45 You've seen it with the pitching, the
1:53:46 clutch pitching, but really the trick
1:53:48 plays have been so crucial in any banana
1:53:51 ball game, but especially in this
1:53:53 series. Both games have come down to one
1:53:55 on the trick play equalizer point
1:53:57 tracker, and that is something we will
1:53:59 be tracking the rest of this game.
1:54:01 That's what the Clowns are hunting here.
1:54:04 If they have more trick plays than the
1:54:06 Loco Beach Coconuts going into that
1:54:08 final inning, they will add an extra
1:54:10 point to their total. Now, they have
1:54:12 been hot with it, but they have not
1:54:14 gotten the equalizer point in this
1:54:15 series, and they have some work to do.
1:54:19 >> Both teams ahead of the series pace on
1:54:21 trick plays tonight. Right now, Loco
1:54:22 Beach has 12 to the Clown 7. The
1:54:24 Coconuts denied the equalizer point, as
1:54:26 you mentioned, by a single trick in both
1:54:28 games one and two. And right here,
1:54:30 they've got a guy who induces trick
1:54:32 plays at such a high rate, taking over
1:54:34 on the mound. Kyle Perry has faced 57
1:54:37 straight batters without allowing the
1:54:39 ball for spring. It's unheard of. He
1:54:41 throws two pitches, a fast ball and a
1:54:43 slow ball. And Mr. One of one, the
1:54:45 Nebraska Prada, is into the game. He's
1:54:48 the league's MPI King. 327, the best
1:54:50 among all qualified pitchers. This is
1:54:52 the fastest pitcher to the plate on the
1:54:54 planet.
1:54:56 And KP, he's going to have to start
1:54:58 against Old Knuckles. Here comes Fisher
1:55:00 Polyoroff for his third AP of the
1:55:02 weekend.
1:55:03 Kyle Perry, the value has been through
1:55:06 the roof. And both these teams have a
1:55:08 lights out reliever. They picked in the
1:55:10 eighth round.
1:55:13 Not bad for the final round of the
1:55:15 Banana Ball Championship League draft.
1:55:19 Fisher Polyoroff, a guy added to the
1:55:21 roster this year. Old Knuckles.
1:55:25 He's number that thing in your
1:55:28 scorecard.
1:55:29 And technically he's 85 years old, but
1:55:31 he's also 20.
1:55:33 >> However old he is, he likes to swing.
1:55:35 >> He's down on strikes. It felt like a
1:55:37 steal on draft day when the longtime
1:55:39 Savannah Banana Kyle Perry fell to the
1:55:40 eighth round. He brings such a veteran
1:55:43 leadership. An unspoken leader is Kyle
1:55:45 Perry. He's working quickly. We got to
1:55:47 get out of replays here because Perry
1:55:49 just goes move, move, move. He wants to
1:55:52 be the MPI king. He takes pride in being
1:55:54 the fastest pitcher on Earth. And watch
1:55:56 ball back in his glove. One, two, maybe,
1:55:59 maybe two seconds. Watch this. Kyle
1:56:02 Perry on the rubber. One Mississippi.
1:56:04 Two Mississippi. balls to the plate and
1:56:07 it's a swing in this. There's just not
1:56:09 many other people in the world who do
1:56:10 what Kyle Perry does, if any.
1:56:13 >> Had a three and a half minute inning in
1:56:16 the win in the win on Thursday night.
1:56:18 And that's impressive because he worked
1:56:19 around a hit in that inning. 3 and 1/2
1:56:22 minutes, 1 2 3 is still pretty
1:56:24 effective.
1:56:25 If
1:56:26 >> you recall, he actually had two runners
1:56:27 on in that inning with a trip play
1:56:29 missed as well. And that's how fast he
1:56:30 is.
1:56:32 >> Get ball, throw ball. That's Kyle Perry.
1:56:36 >> Brian Dancero breaks out of the slum
1:56:38 hitting a buck 17 this year. Feelood
1:56:40 moment for Dancer.
1:56:42 >> He's got a single against Kyle Perry to
1:56:44 the right side of the infield. That's
1:56:46 got to feel good.
1:56:47 >> Yeah, a couple ofers in this series.
1:56:50 Gets the atbat. First one here in the
1:56:52 seventh in game number three. He says
1:56:55 when he's working, he is going the other
1:56:58 way. And you saw it exactly right there.
1:57:01 >> Good for Dano.
1:57:04 Donut batter Kirkland Banks has yet to
1:57:06 go down on strikes tonight.
1:57:08 >> He's one for two on the day.
1:57:11 >> Darned an RBI with his hitting his last
1:57:13 time up.
1:57:15 Up into the sweet level.
1:57:17 >> That would have been a phenomenal catch.
1:57:23 >> Banks battles off another.
1:57:27 Takes a harsh hop off the top of the
1:57:29 dugout.
1:57:31 KP the strike away from making over
1:57:35 9,000 fans here.
1:57:38 >> I mean, what is better than free Dunkin
1:57:40 Donuts? Probably count on one half.
1:57:46 >> Deuce deuce.
1:57:49 >> Another foul off from Banks.
1:57:51 >> Where I come from, the temptation to
1:57:53 free Duncan.
1:57:55 That could be costly.
1:57:58 >> Banks lined in the left. Just
1:58:00 backto-back singles for the Clowns that
1:58:02 have runners on first and second. A
1:58:03 rarity. Kyle Perry. 18 pitchers into his
1:58:06 day.
1:58:08 >> He's going to have to deal with Jaylen
1:58:10 Vasquez now. The 10-hole.
1:58:13 >> Kirkland Banks heating up. Three for his
1:58:15 last four.
1:58:17 He sees that donut batter and the
1:58:21 baseball, the banana ball. Looks like as
1:58:23 big as a donut when it's coming into
1:58:25 him.
1:58:28 Kyle Perry's not afraid to pitch to
1:58:30 contact, by the way. He's not a true
1:58:31 strikeout pitcher. He wants to induce
1:58:33 trick plays. Oh, the runners are on the
1:58:34 move. Kyle Perry's got to get to the
1:58:35 plate. They're both in safely on their
1:58:37 feet. He's frustrated because he started
1:58:39 his motion right when he saw him
1:58:40 running. Would have been a ball.
1:58:43 >> Matt Miller, who's been with the
1:58:45 visitors, the developmental team here in
1:58:47 Banana Ball, Jacksonville native,
1:58:49 coaching third for the second straight
1:58:50 night for the Indianapolis Clowns.
1:58:53 Sending them both there. Exactly what
1:58:56 Kyle Perry needed to right field. Gideon
1:58:58 Antel brings it in. Oh, that's why you
1:59:01 don't test that arm. Wow, would he have
1:59:02 been out by a mile. I just love watching
1:59:04 that guy throw. And Ashby Binding is so
1:59:06 encouraging. He's telling Kyle, you're
1:59:08 not away from keeping this scoreless
1:59:09 again. The thing is
1:59:12 Kyle Perry now over 60 straight batters
1:59:15 face without a ball for a sprint. This
1:59:17 would be the worst time of all to break
1:59:19 that streak because two runs would come
1:59:20 in to score.
1:59:23 Leed nubb to the right side. Brewer
1:59:26 grabs it with his glove, goes between
1:59:27 the legs and gets the tag out. Kyle
1:59:29 Perry, another day, another scoreless
1:59:32 inning. He truly is one of one. Runners
1:59:36 on second and third with just one down.
1:59:38 KP gives JB a reason to do the splits.
1:59:42 It's a scoreless top of the seventh.
1:59:44 Coconuts in prime position to
1:59:47 potentially double up their lead when
1:59:48 we're back in the bottom of the seventh
1:59:50 inning.
1:59:52 the land of tea. She is a member of the
1:59:58 Queen Elizabeth Boxing Gym with 67
2:00:04 knockouts at the age of 62 year old.
2:00:11 Give it up for Leslie.
2:00:15 And now representing the US ofA.
2:00:21 She's broken two hips. Neither were
2:00:25 hers. She's been trained by the one, the
2:00:28 only Rocky Balboa.
2:00:31 Coming out is 64year-old
2:00:36 Rockin Robin.
2:00:45 Ladies, ladies, ladies, that back back
2:00:47 to the home. Back to home. Come to home.
2:00:48 Come to home, ladies.
2:00:51 Jacksonville, we are about to take part
2:00:54 in a battle that we like to call Noodle
2:00:58 Knockdown. We found the two baddest
2:01:00 warriors here in Jacksonville. It will
2:01:02 be up to you, the crowd, to decide on
2:01:06 our winner. Ladies, I want a good, clean
2:01:10 fight. Please touch noodles.
2:01:13 Touch noodles. In three, two, one,
2:01:17 fight. And they're going, they're going
2:01:19 off to strong.
2:01:20 >> Give me a hit. Give me a hit. Come on,
2:01:23 Granny.
2:01:24 >> Oh, no.
2:01:25 >> She hit on it, too.
2:01:26 >> America, America, Pierce. Oh, no. It's a
2:01:29 It's a trick. It's a trick. It's a
2:01:32 trick.
2:01:32 >> Watch it. Come on.
2:01:33 >> She's really attacking Brin. Oh, Brenn's
2:01:36 going down. She's down. And she's still
2:01:38 going in five, four, three, two, one.
2:01:43 Stop it. Stop it. Break it up. Break it
2:01:45 up. Break it up. Oh. Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey.
2:01:47 Hey. Hey.
2:01:49 Jacksonville. It is now time for you to
2:01:52 decide our winner. Was it
2:01:57 Great Britain, England?
2:02:00 Or was our winner 64year-old
2:02:05 Rockin Robin?
2:02:09 Give it up for your noodle knockdown
2:02:12 champion, Robin.
2:02:18 A story retold
2:02:21 250 years to the date.
2:02:24 USA takes down Great Britain. Just this
2:02:27 time in a noodle knocked down between
2:02:28 granny's.
2:02:32 Two nothing by my count.
2:02:35 USA over GB.
2:02:37 Doesn't look so great right now.
2:02:44 >> David Griffin back out there for the
2:02:46 Clowns. AJ Sweitech, he said to me, he's
2:02:49 got a little break coming. He told Eric
2:02:52 Fox, I can go the full nine. And this is
2:02:54 important. This is a big time flip in
2:02:57 the game potentially. You know, the
2:02:59 Clowns have a long way to go in the
2:03:00 equalizer point. They're already down
2:03:02 3-2 and with a chance to, you know, no
2:03:05 margin of error here, they can give up
2:03:07 another walk-off on so many different
2:03:09 ways and go down 4-2. And that that is a
2:03:13 a tough margin at this point in the
2:03:16 game. And Eric Fox is sticking with his
2:03:18 horse here.
2:03:20 >> Griffin's only 83 pitches into his
2:03:22 outing.
2:03:24 >> He's been the face of consistency for
2:03:26 the Clowns this season. went over a
2:03:28 hundred last Saturday in Fargo. One of
2:03:31 his best outings of the year.
2:03:34 >> Now he gets a slow roller to second.
2:03:35 Banks goes between the legs. Oh, nifty
2:03:37 grab from Prime. Gets Big Timber on his
2:03:40 route to first and a trick play for the
2:03:42 Clowns. The Battles within four.
2:03:47 >> Kirkland Banks, you can put him at
2:03:48 second, you could put him at third. And
2:03:50 one thing he has caught on to really
2:03:52 quickly has been those trick plays. It
2:03:54 hasn't skipped a beat for a guy who was
2:03:57 a defensive player of the year in his
2:03:58 conference in college.
2:04:03 >> Wild even talking about his good
2:04:04 football career.
2:04:06 >> It's a wild pitch from David Griffin,
2:04:08 but Jordan Brewer wants to stay up there
2:04:09 swinging. He knows a home run walks off
2:04:11 the inning. He's got five of them this
2:04:13 year.
2:04:14 >> Former Big 10 player of the year with
2:04:16 the Michigan Wolverines is using Kaden
2:04:17 Bowler's bat for this plate appearance.
2:04:19 I know that cuz he's the only guy with a
2:04:20 yellow bat. So interesting.
2:04:22 >> Be a little superstition here. looking
2:04:24 for his first hit of the series.
2:04:26 >> Very rare, quiet weekend from Jordan
2:04:28 Brewer. He's still been phenomenal
2:04:30 defensively.
2:04:32 >> He's the gold standard of first baseman
2:04:34 in the field in this sport. Reinvented
2:04:37 what it means to be a first baseman.
2:04:38 He's a true trickster.
2:04:40 >> Now, the bat does look gold, but if
2:04:42 you're Jordan Brewer, do you have to
2:04:44 call it maze?
2:04:47 >> No.
2:04:48 >> M and blue. You catching me? Catching my
2:04:50 drift there?
2:04:51 >> Oh. Oh, now I'm catching your dream.
2:04:57 Sometimes I just feel like you ever just
2:05:00 like lay in bed and think to yourself,
2:05:02 "Whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm not on a boat."
2:05:04 Cuz every once in a while, I just feel
2:05:06 like I'm drifting at sea and then I I
2:05:08 jerk up and my head hits the ceiling in
2:05:09 my bunk bed.
2:05:13 >> Of course, that wakes me up cuz you hit
2:05:16 your head right into my back
2:05:17 practically.
2:05:18 >> Yeah, you're a good upstairs roommate.
2:05:20 You know that. Seniority top bunk.
2:05:24 Everyone in the chat knows how it works.
2:05:26 We've all been there.
2:05:31 There it is. First hit of the series for
2:05:33 Jordan Brewer. And it comes with Kaden
2:05:35 Bowler's bat. Maybe he needs to use it
2:05:37 more. Oh my gosh, it is superstitious.
2:05:41 Gideon Anel's immediately taking the
2:05:43 same bat to the plate. He just picked it
2:05:45 up off the ground and said, "Reer found
2:05:47 a hit with it. I want it too." And let
2:05:49 me tell you, I love Kaden Bowler. I
2:05:52 mean, this is not a dig at him. It's
2:05:53 just the truth. This is the lightest bat
2:05:55 in the Coconuts clubhouse by a fairly
2:05:57 sizable margin. So, it feels whippier
2:06:00 for sure in the box. Just doesn't have
2:06:01 the same power these guys are used to.
2:06:04 >> Well, getting in the same position that
2:06:06 Jordan Brewer was just a few minutes
2:06:08 ago, looking for his first hit of the
2:06:10 series now. He's gotten on base quite a
2:06:12 few times, but there you go.
2:06:14 >> Kaden Bowler's bat has magic in it.
2:06:17 Jordan Brewer's getting the signal in to
2:06:18 score. Gideon Edel has just walked off
2:06:21 the inning.
2:06:23 Backto back knocks with Kadan Bowler's
2:06:26 back.
2:06:28 Backto back players getting their first
2:06:30 hit of the series deep into day three.
2:06:34 It's an RBI double for Anzel and the
2:06:36 boys are hitting the tsunami.
2:07:02 Just the juice that the group in teal
2:07:05 and orange needed.
2:07:06 >> Kaden Bowler's bat
2:07:09 >> dawned by Gideon Antel.
2:07:12 And Jordan Brewer
2:07:14 >> doubles the Coconuts lead in a big way
2:07:16 in the seventh inning.
2:07:18 >> And we go down to the field for an
2:07:21 independent dance.
2:07:31 >> Never mind.
2:07:33 >> We are back to regularly scheduled
2:07:35 programming.
2:07:36 >> Sorry, Independence.
2:07:39 We've got marinara, spaghetti, and a
2:07:42 bowl of jelly on the hill right now.
2:07:46 >> His name is Joe Meatball Filamino.
2:07:51 And he's pitching for a third straight
2:07:55 day.
2:07:57 D
2:07:59 meatball. D
2:08:01 invincible. D meatball. Three straight
2:08:04 days. Da da da da da da da da. Pitching
2:08:07 3 and0 is the record. 548 the earned run
2:08:10 average. D
2:08:12 meatball. D
2:08:14 meatball. Oh my goodness. This guy is
2:08:18 just defying what we thought was known
2:08:20 by humanity. Coming back from an injury.
2:08:23 He's going to pitch in three straight
2:08:24 days.
2:08:26 Looking to slap that stomach. Joe
2:08:28 Filamino
2:08:30 said, "You know what? They can't get
2:08:32 enough of a song. I want you to sing it
2:08:33 on three straight nights. The meatball
2:08:36 man
2:08:38 with the banana ball so sloppy coming to
2:08:40 meat songs trying to get through the
2:08:42 eighth inning. Hold the coconuts lead at
2:08:45 two.
2:08:49 What's more patriotic? What's more
2:08:51 American
2:08:53 than dut dut d meatball on the 4th of
2:08:58 July? Good oldfashioned American grit to
2:09:01 go out there three days in a row in a
2:09:03 good oldfashioned American dad bod.
2:09:08 >> The guy eats hitters for breakfast,
2:09:10 lunch, and dinner. And a little
2:09:12 parmesano
2:09:14 on top of it. He eats meatballs three
2:09:17 times a day. He's got golden retrievers
2:09:19 that love him in the dugout. His name's
2:09:21 Joe Meatball Filamino. And if anyone's
2:09:23 better with technology than me, he wants
2:09:25 this to be his new ringtone.
2:09:30 looking to give me more reasons to sing
2:09:32 that song. Meatballs ahead 01 against
2:09:35 JBJ
2:09:36 who does not get to use Kaden Bowler's
2:09:38 bat. Notably,
2:09:41 he has a hit in this series, but it's
2:09:43 only one for JBJ.
2:09:46 0 for four last night, 0 for three
2:09:48 tonight.
2:09:50 D
2:09:51 meatball dap
2:09:55 the stomach. Joe Filamino strikes out a
2:09:58 twotime MLB Allstar. D.
2:10:03 The World Series champion is taking a
2:10:06 one-way trip right back to the Clowns
2:10:09 Dugout. Joe Filamino. Good morning, good
2:10:13 afternoon, good night. We eat meatballs
2:10:15 for all three meals here in the Filamino
2:10:18 household. Three pitch punch out to
2:10:20 start his day against JBJ.
2:10:26 Dale Francis Jr. got his first triple of
2:10:30 the season in this series. He was not
2:10:31 trying to go for his first steal of
2:10:33 first base.
2:10:36 Although Joe Filamino arguing, did he
2:10:38 take a step out of the box? That should
2:10:39 be a strike. No such luck.
2:10:46 Do they have answers in the month of
2:10:48 July for Joe Filamino?
2:10:51 You've heard of Christmas in July. Allow
2:10:54 me to introduce you to Filaminus in
2:10:56 July.
2:10:58 He's got a stomach full of gifts hiding
2:11:01 under that jersey.
2:11:03 He's got a 3-2 count now. Dale Francis
2:11:05 Jr. shattering one into his own front
2:11:07 ankle.
2:11:08 >> Bonatal.
2:11:12 Couple months on Dolingo and you're
2:11:14 going to get that one.
2:11:15 >> All right. If you want to speak Italian,
2:11:16 what's ma mean?
2:11:18 >> It's what Joe Filamino's been doing all
2:11:20 weekend.
2:11:22 Do you really know what it means? Cuz
2:11:23 that's a great answer.
2:11:24 >> Yeah.
2:11:24 >> What's it mean?
2:11:25 >> It's eating.
2:11:26 >> Wow.
2:11:26 >> Food.
2:11:27 >> Wow.
2:11:28 >> Come on now.
2:11:30 >> Nothing gets by this guy. I love this
2:11:32 guy.
2:11:33 >> Ma's on
2:11:34 >> Cam. I am so happy that you have been
2:11:36 added cuz no one else has got the manga
2:11:38 reference
2:11:39 >> in in the tech household. I said house
2:11:43 field. We didn't live in a house.
2:11:44 >> I'm going to do Conte Partiro later.
2:11:47 >> Growing up every Sunday was manga day.
2:11:50 Dale Francis Jr.
2:11:53 >> gets eaten up manga style by Ben Parker.
2:11:55 Two up, two down for the meatball.
2:11:58 >> Our producer Emerson was singing Cha
2:12:01 Luna last night. We We love
2:12:05 some good Italian in this booth.
2:12:12 >> Joe Filamino wheeling and dealing up to
2:12:14 96 on the in-house radar gun.
2:12:21 Now, before you were delivered here into
2:12:23 Banana Land by Stork, Joe Filamino had a
2:12:26 signature pitcher entrance to That's
2:12:28 Amorei.
2:12:31 That's Amorei from him right there. He's
2:12:33 a strike away from a perfect inning.
2:12:34 Only 12 pitches into it.
2:12:47 talked about one of the rules, 11 rules
2:12:49 of banana ball earlier in this inning. A
2:12:51 man stepping out of the box. One thing
2:12:53 we have to keep pay pay close attention
2:12:56 to once again in the bottom of the
2:12:57 eighth. That trick play battle. Clowns
2:13:00 trailing four. It can be done. It has
2:13:03 been done.
2:13:06 And there you go again. Highlighted that
2:13:08 rule. Joe Lidle both heels right on the
2:13:12 edge of the batters box almost tipping
2:13:14 himself.
2:13:18 Here we go. Payoff spot for Joe Meatball
2:13:20 Filamino.
2:13:25 Lidle spoils it foul. It's ticketed for
2:13:28 the seeds
2:13:30 and it bounces off the concourse. No
2:13:32 catch
2:13:32 >> for the stats nerds. Joe Lidle still
2:13:35 leading the BBCL but in batting average
2:13:38 but 406 coming into today only up by
2:13:40 four points. He's 0 for three.
2:13:42 >> Ball four sprint for Joe Lidle extends
2:13:44 the inning. A little frustration from
2:13:45 the meatball on the mound.
2:13:48 >> Lidle holds it first. Jacobo fake throws
2:13:52 the glove at him.
2:13:53 >> Lidle extends the inning.
2:13:55 >> And I do not want to short change my
2:13:57 good friend Joe Lidle. Okay, cuz Lord
2:13:59 knows he'll let me know about it. He's 0
2:14:01 for two. That's his second ball for
2:14:02 sprint.
2:14:08 I'm a Joe Lidle fan, too. He came up to
2:14:09 me today and said, "Hey, have you
2:14:10 recovered since spilling that smoothie?"
2:14:12 I said, "Physically, yes." Mentally, no.
2:14:16 >> It scarred us all. Really,
2:14:22 >> right, Famino misses outside.
2:14:24 This is a very big spot in this game in
2:14:26 the eighth inning and this series for
2:14:27 this matter. It's a rubber match. Series
2:14:30 tied at one. Game a 4-2 advantage for
2:14:32 the Nuts. Can the fans end the inning
2:14:34 for meatball? Not this time.
2:14:37 >> Carell Prime takes a sigh of relief. He
2:14:40 was the victim of a fan caught foul ball
2:14:42 last night.
2:14:46 >> It's no way to spend your holiday having
2:14:47 that two nights in a row.
2:14:54 >> Two-1 battle between Filamino and Prime.
2:15:01 turns 3-1.
2:15:09 Modest lead for Lidle.
2:15:12 Carell Prime launched into the sky. It's
2:15:16 in the left. Matan Allen's jersey
2:15:18 showing and Carell Prime has a two-run
2:15:21 blast.
2:15:24 Prime time
2:15:26 hits his sixth homer of the year.
2:15:30 Your clock reads 8:36 Eastern time, but
2:15:34 it is prime time at the beach.
2:15:38 Carell Prime, when you really need him,
2:15:40 has been there all season long.
2:15:44 No different on America's 250th
2:15:47 birthday.
2:15:56 For the second night in a row, this
2:15:58 eighth inning could make this game very,
2:16:01 very interesting as the Clowns try to
2:16:04 cut it to one.
2:16:06 >> Under the lights, it's prime time.
2:16:08 Carell Prime joins Matty Warren. Beach
2:16:11 shot.
2:16:11 >> Hey, how much more fun was that to run
2:16:13 with some guests on the field?
2:16:14 >> Oh, so much more fun. And it was off my
2:16:16 boy Meatball. I owe him one after that.
2:16:18 For the old guys right there. For the
2:16:20 old guys.
2:16:20 >> Oh, you love to see it, guys.
2:16:23 >> Oh, man. That's a national treasure.
2:16:25 Those were two national treasures
2:16:27 playing banana ball against each other
2:16:29 in Meatball and Prime
2:16:31 >> again with the old heads. Prime's all
2:16:33 about the old heads. Of course, he made
2:16:35 sure we knew he's not one.
2:16:38 >> Certainly didn't look like one right
2:16:40 there.
2:16:43 >> Oldizer went chasing for the heat high
2:16:45 at the zone and couldn't catch up.
2:16:48 Meatball going to leave the jersey on
2:16:50 after allowing the two-run home run. But
2:16:53 Joe Filamino pitches three innings in
2:16:58 one weekend. Backto backto back days.
2:17:02 And as much as I'd love to sing my song,
2:17:05 we've got one from a professional. A
2:17:07 tradition like none other here at Loco
2:17:09 Beach, it's larger than life. Good
2:17:12 chance to remind the over 9,000 here in
2:17:14 attendance. The 3,000 watching virtually
2:17:17 not to worry because everything's going
2:17:19 to be all right.
2:17:21 Smile.
2:17:38 I'll never
2:17:48 worry.
2:17:51 I see
2:17:54 you all
2:18:07 Everything
2:18:09 going to be all right.
2:18:23 Be all right.
2:18:26 Don't worry.
2:18:44 >> Everything is going to be all right.
2:18:47 Jacksonville, we absolutely love you.
2:18:56 Every little thing truly is going to be
2:18:58 all right. Happy 4th of July, everybody.
2:19:01 Thank you so much for opting to spend it
2:19:03 with myself, AJ Switech, alongside Cam
2:19:05 Stewart, Mattie Warren, and Michael
2:19:08 Schwarz. We've got a fresh man on the
2:19:10 mountain for the first time in this
2:19:11 game. After seven innings of David
2:19:13 Griffin, it gives way for Kobe Robinson.
2:19:16 >> Every little thing has been all right
2:19:18 for Kobe Robinson for a long time. Since
2:19:21 the last time these two teams matched
2:19:23 up, that was back on April 11th. Want to
2:19:25 take you down memory lane. Since then,
2:19:29 no pitcher in the Banana Ball
2:19:31 Championship League has a better erra
2:19:34 than Kobe Robinson's 1.62.
2:19:38 Not CJ Williams, not Danny Hosley, it is
2:19:43 Kobe. And that Mamba mentality has
2:19:46 carried him especially in the month of
2:19:49 June. Look at that microscopic numbers.
2:19:53 It's about easier to get a man on the
2:19:54 moon than it is to score on Kobe
2:19:56 Robinson the last month.
2:19:59 But Ashby Vining seeing beach balls at
2:20:01 the plate. First pitch swing from
2:20:04 Vining. Have yourself a day. The face of
2:20:07 the beach. A walk-off home run. Now a
2:20:10 double. And he's swimming on the bag
2:20:11 with Armani Henderson taking over. The
2:20:13 designated runner now in scoring
2:20:15 position. One pitch, one extra base hit.
2:20:18 A rarity. Robinson has been so good
2:20:21 specifically since the start of June
2:20:24 but sometimes movable force
2:20:29 just has other plans. That was Ashby
2:20:31 Vining.
2:20:34 Kobe, you got your work cut out for you
2:20:36 to keep that trend going.
2:20:42 >> A guy who has found himself a high
2:20:45 leverage role and this is pretty high
2:20:47 leverage here.
2:20:49 trying to win this point, make it a
2:20:51 one-point game
2:20:54 and give yourself a shot in the ninth
2:20:55 inning. I know we saw five runs and five
2:20:58 points in the ninth inning last night.
2:21:01 So, everything crucial at this point.
2:21:04 >> JD Erso watching Kobe Robinson and Joe
2:21:06 Lidle play catch. He's taken four
2:21:08 straight pitches. Makes it a 3-1 count.
2:21:14 >> Now it's full.
2:21:16 Verso
2:21:19 0 for one today.
2:21:22 >> Continues to work sprints.
2:21:27 The payoff misses inside. It's a ball
2:21:30 four sprint. This innings within one
2:21:32 run. JD Erso gets an RBI after Ashby
2:21:36 Binding's double. Armani Henderson, the
2:21:38 designated runner, takes over on the
2:21:40 bases. He quickly scores. Inning tying
2:21:42 runs on first base. inning, winning runs
2:21:45 at the plate.
2:21:47 >> And nobody's down against Kobe Robinson,
2:21:49 who's been outright dominant
2:21:53 since the last time these two teams
2:21:54 faced, but Loco Beach is out for
2:21:56 vengeance.
2:22:01 Coconuts felt frustrated after dropping
2:22:03 last night's game.
2:22:05 Felt like they had it right in the
2:22:06 grasps and watched it go away.
2:22:11 >> Chance for redemption.
2:22:14 redemption song, if you will.
2:22:17 >> Morgan a big part of it. He was the
2:22:18 final out in last night's game. He's one
2:22:20 for one with the sprint today.
2:22:23 >> Kobe Robinson just one earned run
2:22:25 allowed in the month of June. Equaled
2:22:27 that total on a beautiful night in
2:22:29 Jacksonville here in early July.
2:22:34 >> Beautiful shot there.
2:22:35 >> Gorgeous. Our
2:22:37 >> own Justin Schwab on the camera. We have
2:22:40 such a talented career. I mean, my
2:22:42 goodness.
2:22:44 Just along for the ride.
2:22:47 >> What a ride it is.
2:22:49 >> How lucky are we? Grady Morgan
2:22:53 over Nico Hollesizer's head. One hops
2:22:56 off the wall. JD Erso is getting the
2:22:58 signal in to score. Holizer lost his
2:22:59 footing. Morgan's headed for third. The
2:23:02 inning's tied.
2:23:04 JD Erso scores. Grady Morgan have
2:23:07 yourself a day and rub that bald head. I
2:23:10 did it this morning. It told me Loco
2:23:12 Beach was going to get a 21st win on the
2:23:13 season. They're in the driver's seat to
2:23:16 do just that. And knowing the big of
2:23:20 this situation, they call on a golden
2:23:22 batter.
2:23:22 >> Gentlemen, the Loco Beach Coconuts are
2:23:26 invoking the golden batter rule. Hitting
2:23:30 in place for Payy Shatanany
2:23:34 is the coconut cowboy
2:23:38 number 10.
2:23:47 Oh man, we're all so surprised. Said no
2:23:50 one ever. 14th golden batter appearance
2:23:53 for Tanner Allen this season. Third of
2:23:55 the series.
2:23:57 He can win the eighth inning here with a
2:23:59 sprint or a single. A ball hit deep
2:24:01 enough could score Morgan as well even
2:24:03 if it's caught. Missed an 0 for three
2:24:05 game. TA locks and loads. Watches his
2:24:09 count turn 2. This is rare. We haven't
2:24:11 seen this kind of struggle from Kobe
2:24:13 Robinson since the early going of the
2:24:15 2026 tour.
2:24:24 It goes without saying how critical this
2:24:27 is. The Clowns cannot win the point in
2:24:29 this inning. And without any outs, they
2:24:32 have not gotten any closer in the trick
2:24:34 play battle either.
2:24:37 Almost the worst case scenario for this
2:24:39 Clowns team in the bottom of the eighth
2:24:40 inning.
2:24:41 >> Robinson's got to find the zone and the
2:24:43 Coconuts take a 5-2 lead and deny the
2:24:45 equalizer point.
2:24:48 Here
2:24:51 we go.
2:24:53 3-1.
2:24:55 Tanner Allen gets by Carell Prime at
2:24:58 first and the Coconuts walk off the
2:25:00 eighth inning on a TA. Golden batter RBI
2:25:05 single. The Coconuts offense as
2:25:08 Indianapolis. Your two runs were never
2:25:10 enough.
2:25:12 It's a 52 advantage at the beach and
2:25:15 we're going loco baby. Let's learn about
2:25:18 the rules of the final ending in Midata
2:25:20 Ball because Tanner Allen just sent us
2:25:22 there in a jiffy.
2:25:30 Ladies and gentlemen, the sound of the
2:25:33 bell means it's time to take a look at
2:25:36 the scoreboard with the Coconuts leading
2:25:38 over the Clowns 5-2
2:25:41 going into the night. But in banana
2:25:44 ball, the final inning is the most
2:25:47 important because every run counts as a
2:25:51 point. Jacksonville, Florida, your
2:25:54 energy's been amazing all night, but I
2:25:56 need you now more than ever because it
2:25:59 all comes down to this. This is the
2:26:02 final
2:26:16 Hey.
2:26:19 >> Yeah. Let's see how you doing. The
2:26:21 pressure
2:26:23 truck him out. He goes, nails in the
2:26:26 coffin. Ice in his
2:26:31 trucks out the side.
2:26:34 CJ Williams. That's what he does.
2:26:38 Keep going. It's another save for the
2:26:40 villain. CJ Williams got him to go.
2:26:46 >> Hey, I see how you doing the pressure. I
2:26:50 see how you doing. A moment forever.
2:26:57 >> Bring out the villain. CJ Williams.
2:27:04 >> Allowed three runs last night.
2:27:07 But I'll tell you what,
2:27:10 this villainous closer who's dazzled in
2:27:12 his rookie campaign has put that far in
2:27:15 the rear view mirror. CJ Williams, wears
2:27:18 the number zero.
2:27:21 That's how many runs he typically gives
2:27:23 up. 12 for 14 and save opportunities
2:27:26 this season. Williams can secure the
2:27:28 Coconuts a series win. Headed into the
2:27:31 twoe break with three outs here in the
2:27:34 top of the ninth. His bats have given
2:27:36 him a three-point cushion. And all eyes
2:27:39 converge on the villain who's taken over
2:27:41 on the mound in search of save number
2:27:44 13.
2:27:47 CJ Williams will tell you it was
2:27:49 probably his worst outing of the year
2:27:51 last night. And the odds of getting
2:27:54 three runs against him again, which is
2:27:55 exactly what the Clowns need here, are
2:27:58 about the same odds as finding a polar
2:28:00 bear in Arlington, Texas.
2:28:04 essentially zero the number he wears,
2:28:06 but it's not impossible because Brett
2:28:09 Loftess has been to Arlington, Texas.
2:28:13 >> So, you're saying there's a chance?
2:28:16 >> Here we go. Eli Payton leading off the
2:28:18 ninth against the villain. CJ Williams
2:28:21 here to strike you out, tell you he did
2:28:23 it, and point you back to the dugout.
2:28:25 Looking to close out an Independence Day
2:28:27 win for these Coconuts. moved to 21-9 on
2:28:30 the year and for the first time in
2:28:32 franchise history beat the clowns in a
2:28:35 series. Fireworks going on in the
2:28:37 outfield. Williams doesn't want any
2:28:39 fireworks coming from the plate.
2:28:42 He wants this to be stressfree.
2:28:44 Typically is with Williams on the mound.
2:28:49 And it's redemption time from a night
2:28:51 ago for the Billing.
2:28:54 >> Here we go. Ninth inning.
2:28:58 Williams
2:29:00 >> sees the ball stabbed behind the plate.
2:29:01 Vining running out of real estate.
2:29:03 Watches the fans. Oh my goodness. It was
2:29:06 nearly caught by a guy in a Coconut
2:29:08 jersey. And Vinding's all smiles and
2:29:09 laughs.
2:29:11 >> You think Eli Payton was taking the same
2:29:12 approach as CJ Williams or as Joe Lidle
2:29:15 did against CJ Williams last night?
2:29:17 >> Yes.
2:29:17 >> Payton did have a double off CJ but said
2:29:20 first pitch I'm hacking. Can they get
2:29:23 some more fireworks?
2:29:28 Williams makes it 02. Beautiful change
2:29:30 up, his best pitch,
2:29:34 which is unreal because he's got three
2:29:36 pitches that will be most pitchers best
2:29:38 pitch.
2:29:40 Here comes his O2.
2:29:43 Williams got him.
2:29:45 Good morning, good afternoon, good
2:29:48 night. You'll see the villain in your
2:29:51 nightmares. One up, one down for
2:29:53 Williams. And it's golden batter time
2:29:55 for Indianapolis.
2:29:57 >> Invoking the golden batter rule. Batting
2:30:01 in place of Brian Deso is golden batter
2:30:05 Joe Lidle.
2:30:10 All right, it's a mental test for CJ
2:30:13 Williams. Only the third time Joe Lidles
2:30:15 dawned the golden helmet this season,
2:30:17 but last night he only needed one pitch
2:30:20 to go yard against the premier arm on
2:30:23 this coconut staff. One of the premium
2:30:25 closers in this sport. This is the
2:30:27 matchup and we're getting it for free.
2:30:29 Lidle first pitch swing. Allen camped
2:30:32 under it and left. CJ Williams gets the
2:30:34 last lap. Lidle's down on one pitch and
2:30:37 the Coconuts are out away from another
2:30:39 CJ Williams save. Another win and a
2:30:42 series win against the Clowns headed to
2:30:44 the break.
2:30:45 >> Every great heavyweight matchup needs a
2:30:48 rematch
2:30:51 and almost always you get a split. CJ
2:30:54 Williams gets that redemption.
2:30:58 Joe Lidle's now seen two pitches from
2:31:00 him.
2:31:02 >> Slow roller to short. Jacobo's got it on
2:31:04 the backhand. His throw across the
2:31:06 infield. No, Jordan Brewers off the bag
2:31:09 and the game's extended.
2:31:11 >> Let's see if we get a challenge here.
2:31:14 Can't take it with you. Potential last
2:31:17 out of the game.
2:31:19 >> Coconut saying no.
2:31:23 >> Looks like Brewer did lose the bag.
2:31:29 So, the game's extended.
2:31:32 Williams just got the exact contact he
2:31:34 was looking for, but his defense is
2:31:36 going to make him find a fourth out. A
2:31:39 true villain. He said he gets better the
2:31:41 more he throws each weekend. He lives
2:31:43 for game threes where he gets to throw
2:31:44 every game in a series.
2:31:48 Now he can end the game against Jaylen
2:31:49 Vasquez.
2:32:00 Two count. Williams has plenty of
2:32:03 cushion to work with. Even a home run
2:32:05 here wouldn't tie the game.
2:32:13 Two.
2:32:15 Vasquez. High fly ball into foul ground.
2:32:21 Nearly caught by a fan in a Coconut
2:32:23 jersey again.
2:32:29 2-1 count now.
2:32:31 >> Two strikes away from a series win.
2:32:35 >> What a sight. A beautiful night here in
2:32:37 Jacksonville. The fireworks going on
2:32:40 just beyond center field.
2:32:43 >> Swinging a miss. CJ Williams is one
2:32:45 strike away from save number 13.
2:32:50 >> The stage is set in a beautiful way.
2:32:59 Vasquez.
2:33:02 More foul contact into the grandstand.
2:33:06 Not caught again. He lives to see
2:33:09 another. You got to bring a glove.
2:33:15 We're going to have to try the douche
2:33:16 deuce again with fireworks in the
2:33:18 horizon.
2:33:22 High-fly ball left side of the infield.
2:33:25 Erso calls everybody off and in foul
2:33:28 ground. He's done it. Fireworks from
2:33:32 Five-Star Ballpark. CJ Williams closes
2:33:36 out a 5-2 Coconuts win.
2:33:39 Loco Beach victorious 2-1 in the series.
2:33:43 5-2 in the game.
2:33:46 Happy 4th of July from the beach and go
2:33:51 loco go baby. The Coconuts have done it
2:33:54 again. Their villain is closer gets the
2:33:57 train right back on the tracks and it's
2:33:59 time
2:34:01 to celebrate.
2:34:14 Feel
2:34:24 the rain on your skin
2:34:28 on America's 250th birthday. The two
2:34:32 newest teams to Banana Ball put on an
2:34:34 unforgettable show. A combined 23 hits
2:34:39 and seven points.
2:34:41 Who else would be the showman of the
2:34:42 game? It's the face of the beach. Ashby
2:34:44 Vining doing it again.
2:34:51 >> It's a home run for Vining.
2:34:54 It's a double for Viney. It's a single
2:34:56 for Viney.
2:34:58 It's a showman of the game for Ashby.
2:35:01 Viny, the face of the beach, has put on
2:35:04 yet another show to remember. The rookie
2:35:08 with the best head of hair you've ever
2:35:09 seen
2:35:11 was made to be a Loco Beach coconut. He
2:35:14 embodies what it means to be a coconut.
2:35:16 And on Independence Day, he just had a
2:35:18 game to remember. Let's go down to the
2:35:22 field because we've got Ashby Vining
2:35:24 Beachside with Michael Schwarz.
2:35:26 >> God bless America. God bless our
2:35:28 catchers. We're going to get to D Bonitz
2:35:30 in a minute, but our showman of the
2:35:31 night, you deserve to wear these, my
2:35:33 guy. How does this feel on July 4th? You
2:35:36 come over to me. By the way, Ash
2:35:38 providing always comes over to me. He's
2:35:39 like, I got it. I got it. You are so
2:35:40 determined. Just get that to do it on
2:35:42 July 4th. Put on a show for this amazing
2:35:44 crowd.
2:35:45 >> How great.
2:35:45 >> Yeah, it's special, man. I just want to
2:35:47 thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
2:35:48 for giving me the opportunity to be
2:35:50 here. But I just I I thrive off energy.
2:35:52 I I I thrive off fans. And I just knew
2:35:54 July 4th, big crowd, big energy. It was
2:35:57 my day. Catching game three can be
2:35:58 tough. But man, just got to grind it out
2:36:00 and just have a full confidence in
2:36:01 myself and this team, man. I'm proud of
2:36:03 this team more than anything. They do a
2:36:04 great job competing. Lost a tough one
2:36:06 last night, but to bounce back and win a
2:36:07 series is huge. And I'm proud of our
2:36:09 guys.
2:36:09 >> Croco said when we're going to win, it's
2:36:11 going to be great. Three for three for
2:36:12 you. Your third showman of the game, but
2:36:14 let's talk about CJ Williams. Why is he
2:36:17 such a villain? He's not even in a
2:36:19 Disney movie.
2:36:20 >> Yeah, he's awesome. And the way he just
2:36:21 competes day in and day out and I always
2:36:23 confidence in him and not only him, but
2:36:25 my whole pitching staff, man, I I preach
2:36:27 on it every week. You know, they they
2:36:29 got a bad rap earlier this season. I
2:36:30 took that personal and we took that
2:36:32 personal as a staff to come out and
2:36:33 compete in their erra and continuing to
2:36:36 keep this offense in the game is special
2:36:37 and I love each and every one of those
2:36:39 guys.
2:36:39 >> Uh girls and girls
2:36:41 >> and women they deserve to be in baseball
2:36:44 and of course banana ball the sport we
2:36:46 are so blessed to be playing. But let me
2:36:48 tell you something. What do you think of
2:36:50 her performance? A perfect inning with
2:36:52 Will over there.
2:36:53 >> Yeah, I'm so proud of her. And what
2:36:54 people don't realize is she brings the
2:36:55 juice every day. the support we have for
2:36:57 each other. Warmed each other up before
2:36:59 games and I couldn't be more proud of
2:37:00 her and this team wouldn't be the same
2:37:02 without her. There's no doubt about it.
2:37:03 >> D, we're going to miss you, but you're
2:37:05 going to be back in just a little bit.
2:37:06 So, don't go anywhere. Let's get a USA D
2:37:09 chant. USA go. USA go. USA go. USA go.
2:37:19 USA go USA. We'll send it back up to you
2:37:23 guys. Happy 4th. Happy 4th of July and
2:37:26 what a farewell for Da Bonitz. Ashby
2:37:30 Vining caught 26 innings this weekend.
2:37:34 It's unheard of, but it's what he does.
2:37:36 The rookie was a part of this 2-1 series
2:37:39 win. He has his fingerprints all over
2:37:41 it. Your final today, 5 to2. Coconuts
2:37:43 deny the equalizer point for a third
2:37:45 straight game against the Clowns. They
2:37:46 out hit him, they outscored him, and
2:37:48 they outplayed him today.
2:37:49 >> Yeah, this was classic Coconuts today.
2:37:51 You know, this was not a case of, oh, a
2:37:53 bunch of all four sprints or just, you
2:37:55 know, errors in the in the field. This
2:37:57 was the coconuts mashing. Will Ethridge
2:38:00 giving you a terrific start and
2:38:02 obviously Ashby Vining a big part of
2:38:03 that. D Bonitez a big part of that, too.
2:38:06 Vining did it at the plate, but behind
2:38:08 the dish, you know, the encouragement of
2:38:10 his guys, they worked out of traffic
2:38:11 really all long. And so much of that
2:38:14 comes from the mental side of the game.
2:38:16 Ashb Vining a huge addition in that
2:38:19 sense keeping the guy's head in the
2:38:21 right spot and that stuff you don't see
2:38:23 on the score sheet. Now this is a pretty
2:38:26 poorly kept secret. I'm an emotional
2:38:28 guy. I'm going to do my best to keep it
2:38:30 together here. But man, YouTube,
2:38:34 especially those who are sticking around
2:38:35 this deep into the broadcast, I hope you
2:38:37 know how much it means to me, how much
2:38:38 it means to Cam, how much it means to
2:38:40 Maddie, how much it means to Michael
2:38:41 that you just chose to spend America's
2:38:43 birthday here with us at Vicear
2:38:46 Ballpark. I mean, my goodness, what a
2:38:49 special atmosphere. Fireworks going off
2:38:51 in the background, cheers throughout. It
2:38:54 just could not have been a better Fourth
2:38:56 of July. And again, I said it after the
2:38:59 Coconuts won game one. I said it after
2:39:00 the Clowns won game two. I'm going to
2:39:02 say it again after the Coconuts won game
2:39:04 three. Regardless of the outcome of the
2:39:05 game, you look out at those fans behind
2:39:07 you. You see the smiles. You see the
2:39:08 unforgettable moments, the memories here
2:39:11 in Banana Land, both on the broadcast,
2:39:13 in person, and everywhere in between.
2:39:15 And you can't help but smile. Joy is
2:39:17 infectious here in Banana Ball. And Cam,
2:39:19 I'll tell you what, after doing three
2:39:21 games with you, you embody exactly that.
2:39:23 So, I'm so happy that you're a part of
2:39:25 the team. And thank you so much for
2:39:26 putting up with me all weekend. This was
2:39:28 fun.
2:39:28 >> Oh, come on. And this goofball makes a
2:39:30 broadcast feel like a day at the beach.
2:39:32 It's truly that easy. I had so much fun
2:39:35 working with you for the first time, AJ.
2:39:37 I have a feeling this is the start of a
2:39:39 beautiful friendship, which is from
2:39:41 another movie that AJ Sweet has never
2:39:42 seen.
2:39:43 >> Very true,
2:39:44 >> chat. Tell them.
2:39:45 >> But this is the first of many because
2:39:47 The Coconuts and Clowns. We have two
2:39:49 weeks off. Let me read between the lines
2:39:51 a little bit here. Two weeks, no banana
2:39:53 ball. So sad. I don't know what I'm
2:39:55 going to do without you guys for the
2:39:56 next two weeks other than watch old
2:39:57 broadcast back and read the chat and
2:40:00 then feel like I'm still there with you.
2:40:02 But after those two weeks is going to be
2:40:03 the Coconuts in Portland, Maine against
2:40:05 the Tailgator. But then the second
2:40:08 series out of the break is Coconuts
2:40:09 Clowns in Buoie, Maryland. Can you be
2:40:12 any more excited for that series after
2:40:14 the great banana ball we just saw for
2:40:15 three straight nights?
2:40:16 >> I am itching for it. I am itching for
2:40:18 the end of July. I cannot wait. I'm
2:40:21 jealous you get to go to Portland. Very
2:40:23 jealous. It's one of my favorite cities,
2:40:25 but I can't wait for Buoie.
2:40:26 >> Well, Cam, thank you so much. It's been
2:40:28 a phenomenal weekend. So, for our
2:40:30 outstanding crew, top to bottom, the
2:40:32 producer Emerson Elgrren, the director,
2:40:34 Chris Haynes, everyone involved in the
2:40:36 control room, every camera operator,
2:40:38 every chat moderator, and I'll tell you
2:40:40 what, everyone who tuned in at any point
2:40:42 this weekend, you're just as much an
2:40:44 important part of this show because
2:40:45 without you, we wouldn't do what we love
2:40:48 the way that we do. So, you made this
2:40:49 truly special. Over the course of the
2:40:51 next two weeks, I have a challenge for
2:40:52 you. a real challenge. But if you can do
2:40:54 it, I promise you when I see you next in
2:40:57 Portland, Maine, you're going to feel
2:40:59 like a better person because when you do
2:41:00 good things for others, it comes right
2:41:02 back to your soul. So my goal for
2:41:04 everyone still listening is for the next
2:41:05 two weeks, do something every day for
2:41:08 someone else. Do something selfless. It
2:41:10 feels selfless and it's not selfish, but
2:41:12 in a sense it is. Because when you
2:41:14 spread kindness, when you spread joy,
2:41:15 when you let that infectious love
2:41:17 overtake your soul, I promise you it's
2:41:20 going to do a lot for yourself as well.
2:41:22 I'll stop rambling. We're going to say
2:41:24 so long. I'm AJ Switech. It's been a
2:41:26 pleasure with Cam Stewart. The Coconuts,
2:41:28 winners of the game, winners of the
2:41:29 series. Today's final score, 5 to2.
2:41:32 Until next time, spread love, spread
2:41:34 joy, and go loco, baby. Happy birthday,
2:41:37 America.
2:42:48 Whatever.
