Texas Tailgaters vs Indianapolis Clowns in Round Rock, Texas! (Game 2)

📝 Full transcript (3527 segments)

0:36 On one fateful night in October of 2024,

0:40 Jason R rode in on the back of a pickup

0:42 truck singing with a belt buckle on and

0:45 some denim blue uniforms on and that's

0:48 how Banana Ball's fourth team, the Texas

0:51 Tailgaters, were born.

0:54 Now, representing the Lone Star State,

0:56 the first team in Banana Ball since the

0:58 Savannah Bananas to have a location tied

1:00 to its identity. But, how was tailgating

1:03 going to exist in between the lines of

1:05 Banana Ball? Well, fast forward, May

1:08 2025, Albuquerque, New Mexico, game

1:11 number two in the history of the Texas

1:13 Tailgaters. It's showdown, it's the

1:15 Party Animals, it's Jimmy Lois versus

1:17 Reese [music]

1:18 Hampton up six points to five. Reese

1:22 sends one down the left field line. It's

1:24 tailing foul. A fan sticks his glove out

1:27 and catches the foul ball and the Texas

1:30 Tailgaters win their first ever game in

1:32 the history of their franchise by a fan

1:35 caught foul ball. Now, Cincinnati, Ohio,

1:39 three weeks later, first big league

1:41 stadium.

1:42 Marcos Castillo reigning in the right

1:44 center field gap and has it for out

1:46 number two.

1:48 It's that demon yellow. It's a big

1:50 league stadium. It's the first time

1:53 either one of those things are happening

1:55 in the Texas Tailgaters history. Can

1:57 they beat the Bananas and can they win

1:59 in a big league ballpark? What say you,

2:01 Marcos Castillo? For out number three,

2:04 did the same thing as he did on out

2:06 number two, a jumping, leaping, diving

2:08 grab in the right center field. And the

2:10 Texas Tailgaters victorious for the

2:11 first ever time over the Savannah

2:13 Bananas.

2:16 Now, one of our favorite things we got

2:18 to do all last year, we're going to do

2:19 it all this year, we're going to do it

2:20 hopefully for all of our existence is

2:23 tailgating. The Tailgaters tailgate

2:24 [music]

2:25 and well, we play whiffle ball at the

2:27 tailgate and poor Jimmy Lewis struck me

2:29 out on three pitches. Still having a

2:31 good old time there in Philadelphia. So

2:34 much fun. One of our favorite tailgates

2:36 we got to go to in 2025.

2:39 As we go to one of our favorite

2:40 tailgates to our favorite series of

2:42 2025. Baton Rouge, Louisiana on the

2:45 campus of LSU. The Texas Tailgaters

2:48 trying to earn their first ever sweep in

2:51 their history. Jordan Hussey Oh my

2:53 goodness. Behind the back trick play in

2:57 Showdowns. The first unofficial trick

3:00 play in the history of Showdown and the

3:02 Texas Tailgaters swept Baton Rouge on

3:06 the back, quite literally, of our

3:08 captain, the Texas Kid, Jordan Hussey.

3:11 Now, same scenario two weeks later to

3:13 finish out the college tour at

3:15 Starkville, Mississippi

3:17 in the home of Mississippi State. Reese

3:19 Hampton, yet again, sends one high in

3:21 the sky. Jordan Hussey trying to track

3:24 it down. Can't quite track it down in

3:26 the air, but can track it down, send it

3:28 to Indiana Stanley who tags out Reese

3:30 Hampton for the final out of the

3:32 ballgame as the Texas Tailgaters spoiled

3:35 the final game of the Party Animals

3:36 Headliner Tour in 2025 as they won it

3:39 four to three.

3:41 Then it was time to go to Texas as we

3:44 began our headliner tour. John Reed,

3:46 game two in Texas and win number one.

3:50 The Texas Tailgaters, their first in the

3:53 Lone Star State by a final score of

3:56 three to two. And where else a better

3:58 way to do it with a better left-handed

4:00 arm and John Reed over those boys from

4:03 black and beans.

4:05 First of two wins in Texas, the second

4:08 coming a few weeks later in Round Rock

4:11 where John Reed yet again able to get

4:14 the final out of a four to two victory

4:16 over those party animals to close out

4:18 the 2025 Texas Tailgaters headliner

4:21 tour. However, the 2025 season not

4:25 complete as the Texas Tailgaters are

4:27 playing their first big league stadium

4:29 in the state of Texas and Indiana

4:30 Stanley. That first Texas Tailgater

4:34 tater as he sent one into the Crawford

4:36 boxes and a big time a long ball from

4:39 Indiana Stanley who led the Tailgaters

4:41 with four home runs in 2025.

4:45 The final Tailgater go ya ya 2025 was

4:48 Zach Watson off of Dakota Steals All

4:51 Bryton in Houston into the Crawford

4:54 boxes in what a way to end the 2025

4:58 world tour in the Lone Star State in a

5:00 big league ballpark. The 2026 season

5:03 started off with a banger for the Texas

5:05 Tailgaters as last weekend at Florida

5:07 State in front of 60,000 people Chris

5:10 Clark told everybody he was pressed in

5:14 key. And then threw the camera on the

5:16 ground. The third overall pick in the

5:18 2026 Banana Ball player draft was having

5:20 a time as was Todd Porter during our

5:23 first run silly of the night. But then

5:26 our first trick play of 2026 came from

5:29 our sixth round draft pick Brett Donny

5:32 Allen the wonder from down under goes

5:35 between the legs with Nigel the

5:37 crocodile on his bill and then a little

5:39 backflip action to leave in between the

5:42 lines. The action only continued to pick

5:44 up after that when Dakota steals all

5:47 Brennan, send an absolute dart to third,

5:51 and then Jordan Bart said, "I got time

5:53 to do a trick play." The diving grab,

5:56 book it, and then the trick play as

5:58 well. Book it from JB. Perhaps the

6:00 coolest moment of the night was Travis

6:03 Monyo hitting the first home run in

6:04 Tailgaters history in a football

6:06 stadium, and then he had things to say.

6:10 >> You just hit a home run in front of

6:11 60,000 people. How do you feel?

6:14 >> Well, Brent, plain and simple, I'm the

6:16 best there ever is. I mean, I wake up in

6:18 the morning and I

6:20 It's excellent.

6:22 I'm a big hairy American winning

6:23 machine. If you ain't first, you're

6:25 last.

6:28 >> [cheering and screaming]

6:30 >> And then we went to Frisco, where I met

6:32 my new best friend [music] and the

6:34 official mascot of the Texas Tailgaters.

6:39 It's Grub, wearing a blue cowboy hat,

6:41 that big old tail on his back, and a man

6:44 who can eat every [music] single piece

6:46 of food at the tailgate. The official

6:49 unveiling of the Tailgaters mascot. I've

6:50 waited for a while, but something we've

6:52 seen a whole lot is our shortstop,

6:54 Jordan Hu Sayne, do it stuff like that.

6:57 I mean, come on, Fiber. Wearing a cowboy

6:59 hat with a feather, the Texas kid, the

7:01 captain, [music] and arguably one of the

7:03 best shortstops defensively in all of an

7:05 animal. So good we had to see it again,

7:08 but we're not showing you the same play

7:09 right here. Yes, Jordan Hu Sayne, five

7:12 trick plays last Saturday night in

7:14 Frisco. This is his fifth right here, a

7:16 bare-handed catch for out number two in

7:19 the top of the ninth inning. But the

7:20 best moment of the night did not come

7:22 from defense, but rather offense. Take

7:24 it away, Rhinestone.

7:25 >> It's golden butter. Kyle Kmart Marten.

7:31 Who wants what you want?

7:33 In the biggest moment to this point of

7:35 the Tailgaters season,

7:37 down by one point in the bottom of the

7:39 ninth, backs against the wall against CJ

7:41 Williams.

7:43 One and oh.

7:45 Big on big.

7:48 K Mark out to left field.

7:51 They ain't going back at the fence.

7:54 It's gone.

7:55 It's gone.

7:56 It's [cheering] gone.

7:58 K Mark

7:59 first home run of the season.

8:00 Ties us up

8:02 at three

8:02 a piece.

8:03 What else would you rather be?

8:11 >> [cheering]

8:13 >> An home run taco.

8:16 The first earned run CJ Williams has

8:19 ever conceded.

8:21 THIS IS BANANA [screaming] BALL.

8:25 >> The moment never too big in the ninth,

8:27 but what about in showdowns? CJ

8:29 Williams, Nick Lopez, bottom of round

8:32 number one. How would it end?

8:37 >> LOPI OVER THE HEAD OF GIDEON ANTLE. IT'S

8:40 GOING TO ROLL FOR A WHILE. GIDEON'S GOT

8:42 GOOD WHEELS. Get on your horse, LOPI.

8:45 GET ON YOUR HORSE.

8:47 ANTLE FINALLY GETS TO IT. Lopi's on

8:49 third. AND ANDY GRANDE ARM sails over

8:52 the head. Tailgaters win. Tailgaters

8:54 win. Tailgaters win. Nick Lopez walks it

8:58 off for the three. And we are so back in

9:01 the Lone Star State.

9:09 Boy, if it ain't a bad day to be a

9:11 glizzy, but a great day to play some

9:13 banana ball. The Texas Tailgaters ready

9:16 to put on another show here in the Lone

9:18 Star State against a team they defeated

9:21 three to two a night ago. The home team

9:24 this afternoon, the Indianapolis Clowns.

9:27 It's a windy, but beautiful and rather

9:29 hot day here in Round Rock, Texas at the

9:33 Dell Diamond. The two and two

9:34 Tailgaters, the one and three

9:36 Indianapolis Clowns. Come on in and stay

9:39 awhile.

9:43 I'm Brett Lowster, the voice of the

9:44 Texas Tailgaters. So happy that you, yes

9:47 you, each and every one of you are

9:49 choosing to join us here on your Sunday

9:51 afternoon. As we mentioned it last

9:52 night, it was quite the defensive master

9:54 class here at Dell Diamond. Three to two

9:57 ball game. Texas Tailgaters move back to

10:00 500.

10:01 But, it's not just about what happened

10:03 here in Dell at Dell Diamond last night.

10:05 Let's look at what happened around the

10:07 league of Banana Ball is real tape in

10:10 Little Rock last night. It was the

10:12 Firefighters and the Loco Beach

10:15 Coconuts. Ben Parker ripping a backflip.

10:17 He's done a lot of that this year. He's

10:18 also been a really, really, really good

10:20 offensive threat as well. Getting Antle

10:23 sends one out to right field. I'll tell

10:25 you what, Darian McDowell, the showman

10:27 of the night last night, showing off the

10:29 cannon right there. Able to double up

10:31 our money Henderson at first base.

10:33 [music] And then, what about this? Dane

10:35 Toplin, high in the sky.

10:37 Darian, what you got? DARIAN, OH MAN, WE

10:41 CALL THAT THE MAN'S GAME. And then Blake

10:43 Benson, low entertainment moments. The

10:45 fire, they're obviously the

10:46 Firefighters, why not? They were able to

10:48 win it last night in Little Rock by a

10:51 final score of four to two. The first

10:53 victory of the year for the

10:54 Firefighters. You see Darian there, a

10:56 couple of RBIs from him.

10:57 >> [music]

10:57 >> That trick play and a couple of

10:59 walk-offs as well. Circle that on the

11:01 far right side. 22 combined trick plays

11:04 and only two hits for the Firefighters.

11:06 What? And they still somehow won that

11:07 ball game four [music] to two. Now,

11:10 let's look at the biggest game of the

11:12 night last night at the Superdome in New

11:15 Orleans, Louisiana. Man, in my opinion,

11:18 one of the coolest venues Banana Ball's

11:19 ever had the opportunity to go to.

11:21 Another football stadium, another Reese

11:23 Lexias home or Reese Lexiatus home run

11:25 in a football stadium. Austin Jury, AD

11:28 all day. Cosgrove.

11:30 Oh yeah, Andy Cosgrove doing his thing.

11:33 Mark Smith hitting the stinky leg. He

11:35 and Ashton Lansdell on a little run

11:37 celebration. And then Bryce Crusafi, the

11:40 hometown kid, able to get himself a

11:42 double there. Tyler Shuck, runner-up for

11:45 Rookie of the Year in the NFL this year,

11:46 throws a touchdown to the best closer in

11:48 Banana Ball, Danny Hasley, who does the

11:50 Joe Horn Jr. celebration. Little hey

11:53 baby there as well. The Bananas with a

11:55 walk-off ball four spread from Coach

11:58 Rack Reese Alexiades to show them the

12:00 love tonight. Five to four, those

12:01 Nanners stay undefeated. Party Animals

12:03 back to .500 at two and two. That's what

12:06 happened in New Orleans last night. What

12:08 about what happened here at the Dell

12:09 Diamond in Round Rock? We already told

12:12 you the Tailgaters won, but how did they

12:13 win exactly? On the back of that man,

12:16 Chris Clark. Absolutely disgusting.

12:18 Taylor Justice able to throw out a

12:19 would-be base runner. First backflip

12:21 catch of the year for the Tailgaters.

12:22 Then, first fan caught foul ball in

12:24 Clown history. Bobby LeDay able to score

12:27 the first run, which led to the first

12:28 point last night for the Clowns. [music]

12:31 Jason R. My July, my walk-off there in

12:33 the fifth inning tied us up at one

12:35 apiece. And then, Nick Lopez walks it

12:38 off in the eighth. RBI double. Special

12:41 special moment. That would put the

12:42 Tailgaters ahead three to one at that

12:44 point. The Clowns able to score one more

12:47 point to make it three to two. But then,

12:49 this the most special moment of the

12:50 night. Taylor Justice, after a walk-up,

12:53 hits his first career Banana Ball home

12:55 run, which led to a walk-off as well.

12:58 One of my favorite moments personally

12:59 I've ever had in the Banana Ball booth.

13:01 Taylor Justice again, who ended up being

13:03 our Showman of the Night. Co-Showman

13:05 though, BECAUSE THAT GUY, BIG STINKY,

13:07 Brett Sanchez, two and two thirds, four

13:10 strikeouts. [music] Reese Miller,

13:11 another rookie, his first save in Banana

13:14 Ball last night as the Texas Tailgaters

13:16 were victorious three to two here at the

13:19 Dell Diamond. Now, today, big-time

13:22 stakes after that win. Why, you may ask?

13:25 The Texas Tailgaters have a chance here

13:26 this afternoon to do something they've

13:28 only ever done once,

13:30 a weekend sweep. The only other time

13:32 they did it was last year in Baton

13:33 Rouge, Louisiana against those party

13:36 animals. We'll talk more Tailgaters.

13:37 We'll talk more clowns. We'll talk more

13:39 about Hannibal on the other side here

13:41 from beautiful and hot Round Rock,

13:44 Texas.

13:45 >> FOR THE BANANA BALL RIFF-OFF!

13:50 WE'RE GOING TO BRING TWO OF the finest

13:51 musicians in Banana Land right out here

13:53 and you, the fans, are going to decide

13:55 the winner.

13:57 Coming first out of the third base

14:00 dugout, a voice so nice it'll melt your

14:04 heart and make you cry. The kind of guy

14:06 you'd like to sing you a lullaby. Host

14:09 of the Indianapolis Clowns, IT'S

14:12 CHERIOUS JONES!

14:19 And now, making his way from the first

14:23 base dugout, the most shredded man to

14:26 ever shred on the guitar. WELL KNOWN AT

14:31 your local guitar center, it's

14:34 Jones!

14:43 Alrighty, gentlemen, we want to keep it

14:45 clean and a nice fair fight. Give the

14:47 people a show and you, the fans, are

14:48 going to decide the winner. The riff-off

14:50 begins in 3, 2, 1.

15:03 >> [screaming]

15:11 [screaming]

15:23 >> 1 2 3 go.

15:26 >> [music]

15:29 [screaming]

15:31 >> People

15:34 they keep on a

15:37 >> [music]

15:38 >> Soldiers

15:40 they keep on

15:41 warring.

15:49 >> Jared is a talented as talented as they

15:51 come as is Trey Jones there in that riff

15:53 off. Bret Lile is back here in the Dell

15:54 Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express.

15:57 I want to talk more about the Animal. I

15:59 want to talk about one of the biggest

16:00 events that's ever going to happen in

16:02 the history of this sport in about a

16:03 month. It's the Savannah Bananas Open.

16:05 You may be wondering, Bret, we've heard

16:07 a little bit about it, but we don't know

16:08 everything about it. Well, that's what

16:09 we're here to tell you. April 16th

16:11 through the 19th in Savannah, Georgia at

16:13 Historic Grayson Stadium, every game

16:16 counts to that point. So, the first 11

16:18 games of the year for all six teams it

16:21 counts as the top four teams, the top

16:23 four seeded teams of the six will play

16:26 in the Open. Whoever then wins the Open

16:28 will get the golden ticket and will

16:31 automatically clinch a playoff spot in

16:33 the playoffs come October. That's the

16:35 Savannah Bananas Open. That's Savannah,

16:37 Georgia. That's coming in roughly about

16:39 a month.

16:40 But, how do we look currently? What

16:42 looks like currently, the records of the

16:44 six Banana Ball teams so far this

16:47 season? Let's see how they fared all

16:49 through four games.

16:54 Here they go, right here. The Savannah

16:56 Bananas undefeated. The Party Animals,

16:58 Tailgaters, and Coconuts all playing

17:00 .500 ball. The Firefighters with their

17:02 first win of the year last night, and

17:04 the Indianapolis Clowns after winning

17:06 their inaugural game on a three-game

17:08 losing streak. You see this? Who is

17:11 going to come out on top? Who is going

17:13 to be those four teams that make up the

17:15 Banana Ball Open? Let's take a look at

17:17 what the stadium is going to like. I

17:19 hear we have a graphic to see what what

17:21 kind of food we're going to be having at

17:22 the stadium at the Banana Ball Open.

17:24 That's That's what I'm hearing. That's

17:25 what they're I believe they're telling

17:27 me that in my ear.

17:29 That looks like an AI hot dog or

17:30 hamburger.

17:32 I I think we're supposed to be showing

17:33 like actual things that we're going to

17:35 be seeing.

17:36 What

17:37 What are we doing here? Don't know what

17:39 that's going on.

17:40 Um I hadn't seen too many of those in

17:41 Savannah, Georgia. Something is going on

17:43 in our production Oh, there he is. Yep.

17:45 Grub.

17:46 Keegan Woods, I I need you to get him

17:48 away. I need you to get I love Grub. Get

17:51 him away. He's ruining it. He's He's

17:53 thinking about food. He's thinking about

17:55 his mother. That was his mother we just

17:56 showed on the screen. Poor lady died

17:58 back in '05. I I know Grub's still

18:00 thinking about her. He misses her. He's

18:01 thinking about food. But But we can't We

18:03 can't be reminiscing.

18:05 What

18:06 I don't know what we're doing. We're

18:07 going to get Grub back on the field.

18:09 We're going to give him a hug about his

18:10 deceased mother. And then And then we'll

18:12 we'll we'll we'll we'll come talk to

18:13 you. We're I'm so sorry. Let's just

18:14 Let's go back down here. I'm so sorry.

18:16 >> PEOPLE FROM

18:19 AROUND THE WORLD

18:21 TODAY,

18:22 YOU AND thousands of your friends here

18:24 live, millions more watching at home,

18:27 have gathered to witness something that

18:30 frat boys across the country could only

18:33 ever dream of.

18:35 From parking lots to 80-ft yachts, from

18:39 backyard grills to a stadium that

18:42 thrills, the pre-gamers come from every

18:45 corner of the globe to witness this.

18:49 But this is not baseball.

18:52 This is the arena where these Texas

18:56 two-stepping, tradition-upsetting,

18:59 big-hit-getting ball players await the

19:02 opening of the gate to deliver a

19:04 Texas-size beat down to whoever lines up

19:07 across from them. And today, ladies and

19:10 gentlemen,

19:11 well, it looks like the Indianapolis

19:13 Clowns are about to find out why you

19:17 don't mess with Texas.

19:24 But no, this is not your granddad's

19:27 pastime. This is not just another night

19:30 at the ballpark. No, this game is

19:32 baseball by birth, but it's fruit by

19:35 name and an absolute worldwide

19:37 phenomenon by the grace of God.

19:41 So now is the time

19:45 for all of you here in Round Rock, TEXAS

19:50 TO GET UP ON your feet and give me your

19:55 voices.

19:58 >> [cheering]

20:00 >> Because this is the greatest pregame in

20:03 sports and it never ends BECAUSE THIS IS

20:18 MAN, I'LL TELL YOU WHAT.

20:19 AIN'T TOO MANY people better at his job

20:21 than Garrett Rhinestone Lappert. And

20:24 ain't too many people better at the

20:25 shortstop position than Jordan Hussein.

20:28 Man, I love watching that guy play as

20:30 we're looking through the starting

20:31 lineups here for the Texas Tailgaters.

20:34 See them come out one by one

20:37 here for the Tailgaters.

20:49 >> At first base, number 11, Mac Danford.

20:56 At catcher, number 26, TAJ "THE

21:01 QUADFATHER" PORTER.

21:05 HERE EXTRA HITTER, number 28, JOSE

21:08 [screaming]

21:09 GONZALES.

21:12 IN LEFT FIELD, number three, Jason

21:16 Ard.

24:21 IT'S GAME NUMBER TWO HERE FROM the Dale

24:24 Diamond

24:26 between your Texas Tailgaters and the

24:29 home team this afternoon, the revived

24:33 Indianapolis Clowns. Come on in and stay

24:38 a while. We're going to play some Banana

24:40 Ball.

24:43 Boys in red, white, and blue got back to

24:45 two and two last night. The Clowns at

24:47 one and three.

24:49 Let me tell you what, Riley Turner.

24:51 14 combined trick plays last night in a

24:54 three to two final.

24:56 Taylor Justice hit his first career home

24:58 run.

24:59 The only guy with a multi-hit game for

25:01 the Indianapolis Clowns was Chris

25:03 Burgess. It was offense galore. It was a

25:05 couple guys that I think a lot of people

25:07 around this league predict to be two of

25:09 the top pitchers, David Griffin, Chris

25:11 Clark going against each other. BUT THAT

25:12 WAS LAST NIGHT. AND HERE WE ARE 5

25:14 MINUTES LATER TODAY. Such a quick

25:16 turnaround from a night to a day game.

25:18 We wouldn't have it any other way. I

25:20 slept for 15 minutes last night.

25:22 Big reason due to Garrett Rhinestone

25:24 Lampert hit me up all night talking

25:26 about how how excited he was for this

25:28 afternoon's contest, man. I love this

25:30 facility here. I said it a lot last

25:31 night. I don't know too many better

25:33 places to get the opportunity to call a

25:35 banana ball game

25:36 than here at Victory Field Diamond.

25:39 And let's take a look at some of the

25:41 guys we're going to see lining up today.

25:43 First off, for the home team, the

25:44 Indianapolis Clowns. Very similar to

25:46 yesterday. Joe Gray though moves over

25:48 from right to left. Nico Hulshizer

25:50 inserted into the defensive lineup. Eli

25:53 Payton, Bobby Leday holding it down on

25:54 the left side. Jalen Vasquez, Dail

25:56 Francis Jr. Getting the start over at

25:58 first base today. Matt Wolf you'll see

26:00 him come in and play the hot corner a

26:02 little bit. Chris Burgess, just

26:03 mentioned his great offensive night last

26:05 night, gets the start again behind the

26:07 plate. And then, look at who's on the

26:09 bump. Everybody's favorite two-way

26:11 player in Bananaland, the banana ball

26:14 and pro ball vet, Karrell Prime.

26:20 I know we talk about all the time, just

26:21 good people, good human beings. Karrell

26:23 Prime, I am so excited to see him go out

26:26 here and tow the rubber today. His first

26:28 outing, his first start as a pitcher

26:30 this season. You see his numbers last

26:31 year as a Savannah Banana. The

26:33 Tailgaters actually lit him up a little

26:35 bit. This is something that we got

26:36 pregame. He gave up a .441 batting

26:39 average against when he faced the

26:40 Tailgaters last year. Overall, a really

26:42 good year for Karrell. Threw almost 72

26:44 innings. 44 strikeouts last year in

26:47 yellow. Now, his first ever outing for

26:50 the Indianapolis Clowns on the bump. The

26:52 usual first baseman will now get the

26:54 start on the rubber. But, what about the

26:56 lineup that he's going to be facing here

26:58 this afternoon? It's going to be a

26:59 new-look Tailgaters lineup at the top of

27:01 the order, a man who hit lead off five

27:03 [music] times last year, the captain

27:05 Jordan Hussein. Nick Lopez, Jordan Barth

27:07 will follow him at least in the first

27:09 inning. Ty is the quiet father. Porter

27:11 getting the start behind the dish today,

27:12 mind you, Eli Jason Art had a walk-off

27:14 single last night and left. And Jonathan

27:17 Sunshine Luders at second. The

27:19 Tailgaters without Travis Maniot, Zach

27:22 Watson today, as well. Andrew Bartman

27:27 possesses a microphone, is not yet

27:29 speaking into it.

27:31 There's a grill. There's a smoker.

27:35 It's 1:03 local time.

27:37 It should be just about time to start

27:39 that grill, Bart.

27:44 >> All right, Round Rock, Texas. Hey, in

27:46 the in the Banana Ball, we like to say

27:49 start the clock.

27:50 But, in Tailgater country and in the

27:52 great state of Texas, we're going to say

27:54 light the grill. So, help me out here.

27:57 On three, I want you to say light the

27:58 grill. Ready? 1 2 3

28:04 >> Showtime.

28:06 Showtime indeed.

28:09 We getting the food ready.

28:12 The Clowns, the Tailgaters are ready. I

28:14 hope all of you are ready at home.

28:15 That's right, Brad. 1 2 1 3 5 2. Book

28:19 it. Let's start a ball game. Jordan

28:21 Hussein, Carell Prime here from Round

28:24 Rock, Texas.

28:26 First pitch of Carell Prime's 2026

28:28 campaign is a strike.

28:31 You see what Faver did last year.

28:35 Last night, Jordan 0 for 2.

28:37 Got a 0-2 count on him right now. And

28:39 Prime, wow, starts off his arsenal with

28:43 the Clowns with a punch.

28:48 16-second strikeout

28:51 from the banana ball that.

28:57 Now it's Nick Lopez.

28:59 Mr. Lee's the lone tailgater with a

29:00 multi-hit ballgame last night.

29:03 Chopper.

29:04 Splash.

29:06 Gets it out of the hand. No trick play,

29:08 but out number two.

29:12 >> [laughter]

29:14 >> You see how Brian looked at Seth Marger

29:16 right there?

29:19 That's how I look at my dog when I come

29:20 out of the bathroom.

29:24 Oh, that's funny.

29:25 Bill Francis telling them, I'll get the

29:27 trick play.

29:29 Seth Marger

29:30 kickflipped into Brian.

29:32 Is Carillo back on the rubber facing

29:33 Jordan Bart?

29:35 JB told me last night at the Plaza

29:37 party, I had 27 barrels last night and

29:39 couldn't find a hit.

29:42 Right there, swing and a miss, one and

29:43 two. Or excuse me, one and one.

29:49 Brian, 6'6".

29:52 Woo.

29:54 A big swing from number six. One and a

29:56 ball and two strikes.

29:59 KB.

30:01 David Griffin last night starter getting

30:02 lit over there in front of the clowns

30:04 dugout.

30:07 Ooh.

30:09 That one caught JB right on the hip.

30:14 And he'll just take his base down to

30:15 first.

30:20 Oh, wow.

30:23 Just the tip of the hot dog.

30:28 See a couple of guys

30:29 down about half of one.

30:32 Bart said, "Our

30:33 is our

30:36 Oh, man. Kmart.

30:40 One and one.

30:42 Another hit for him last night. It was a

30:44 double in the fourth.

30:45 And then

30:47 was the victim of the first ever

30:48 Indianapolis Clowns fan caught foul

30:51 ball.

30:56 Ball and two.

30:59 20 years of professional baseball

31:01 experience here between Carell Prime and

31:03 Kyle Martin.

31:06 That's two decades if you're keeping

31:07 score at home.

31:10 That's three years more than Riley

31:12 Turner's age. He's 17 years old.

31:16 He's not.

31:17 You guys don't know how old Riley is. He

31:19 could be 37. He could be 67. He could be

31:22 17. He's keeping score this ball game

31:24 today. Two outs, full count. Riley K

31:26 Martin JB takes off.

31:28 That's a ball four sprint.

31:30 Jordan Barth didn't get a head start.

31:33 Mick, HE'S GOING TO WAVE HIM AROUND AT

31:35 THIRD.

31:37 FULL SIZE IT TOUCHES IT. NO PLAY AT

31:39 HOME. And the first run of the ball game

31:41 belongs to the boys representing Texas.

31:44 The league leader in ball four sprints

31:46 gets an RBI right there and ends up on

31:48 second.

31:57 Jordan Barth really got on his horse

31:59 there. And I I don't know what this is.

32:03 Ah.

32:07 It's like some sort of an Irish jig.

32:10 Brett Sanchez is ready for St. Patty's

32:12 Day with the

32:13 green bandana.

32:17 Oh wow.

32:18 What is Fletch doing? Fletch, what are

32:20 you doing?

32:21 >> [cheering]

32:21 >> One thumb out, one thumb in.

32:24 What you give that dance, Riley?

32:27 Out of 10.

32:29 Six, seven.

32:31 He might actually be 17, ladies and

32:33 gentlemen. Mack Danford two outs runner

32:35 on second. K Martin scored Jordan Barth

32:38 via ball four strike.

32:41 Mac and Noodle had a single last night.

32:44 This one hit over the roof

32:47 and landed on the hood of Justin

32:49 Gordon's 2005 Dodge Avenger.

32:59 Ooh.

33:00 Beautiful pitch there from Prime, just a

33:02 bit low.

33:05 Mac from Grand Ridge, Florida.

33:08 Know his mom and dad are watching with

33:09 us today.

33:10 Hey Mr. and Mrs. Danford.

33:13 Mama nicknamed him Joe Bob when he was a

33:16 mere lad.

33:17 But we call him here Mac and Noodle and

33:18 as well.

33:20 Mac

33:21 two balls, two strikes, two outs. Deuces

33:23 is wild.

33:26 There are no white Nissans here today.

33:29 They're all parked outside of the

33:30 Caesar's Superdome.

33:32 3:00 p.m. Central Time first pitch for

33:34 the Party Animals Bananas this

33:35 afternoon. Mac, up the middle in the

33:38 center field.

33:40 Kmart will score easily and a bit of a

33:42 carousel right now for the tailgaters. A

33:45 two-run top of the first.

33:53 Just a good piece of hitting from Mac

33:55 and Noodle. Got it off the end of the

33:57 bat and guided it into center field.

33:59 Perone flexing those muscles at Mac and

34:01 Noodle. Now it's time for the biggest,

34:04 the largest, the Quadfather, Ty Ashford.

34:09 Ty had last night off, the starting

34:10 catcher here today.

34:14 Ball and no strikes

34:16 for the Southern University alum.

34:20 Ooh.

34:22 Man, that almost got Joe Perone.

34:25 Almost got Reese Miller who's just

34:26 chilling over there in a lawn chair.

34:29 Sunshine says he'll We'll him. Sunshine,

34:31 we don't need you getting hurt, brother.

34:40 Taj a 309 hitter last year.

34:45 Come on the long balls.

34:47 Tell you one thing about Taj. As a

34:49 switch-hitting catcher, his right-handed

34:51 swing I really hope you get to see it

34:52 today.

34:53 Cuz that's something he worked really

34:55 hard on. We talked about Moon, obviously

34:56 not in the lineup here today, but him

34:57 and Moon worked very, very hard

35:00 on their right-handed swings this year.

35:01 Very strong from the left side last

35:03 year, but worked on those a lot in the

35:04 off-season. Full count delivery, Mac

35:06 will take off.

35:08 Right down the first baseline and just

35:09 right foul.

35:11 Seth Markham tried to make the play. I

35:12 guarantee you he's happy he didn't, cuz

35:15 that one would have left the mark.

35:19 We'll do it again.

35:23 From the man wearing the neon green

35:25 spikes, Terrell Brown.

35:27 Taj floats it out to left. Dailing

35:29 towards foul territory.

35:32 And just foul.

35:35 Tell you what, from our angle up here in

35:36 the booth, I couldn't tell if that hit

35:38 the chalk or not.

35:39 But I'll trust Kurt Lander, who's out in

35:41 left field for us today.

35:45 So now we'll do it again.

35:47 An inning that looked like it would be a

35:49 mere 2 minutes

35:51 has swollen to almost eight here.

35:56 Payoff pitch thrice now for TP.

36:01 And another ball four, Spratt. Gets away

36:02 from Burgess. Mac and Doodles was taking

36:04 off ON THE PITCH.

36:05 MAC SEES THAT THEY'RE JUST NOW TOUCHING

36:08 IT. He's easily going to score. And

36:10 another RBI ball four, Spratt, for these

36:13 Tailgaters as the collide father makes

36:15 it three to nothing here in the top of

36:17 the first. Hopefully in route to the

36:19 first point of the ballgame for the

36:21 Gators.

36:28 Talked about it last year.

36:30 The one team that had Curiel Grimes'

36:32 number when he was wearing yellow

36:34 were these boys in blue and orange. And

36:35 so far it's been much of the same here

36:37 tonight.

36:38 Three runs here in the top of the first.

36:42 It's Jose Brother Gonzalez called strike

36:44 to him.

36:46 Brother also had a ball for his breath

36:47 last night.

36:49 Ooh.

36:51 Man, I like that one.

36:54 Ball and strike.

37:00 Behind home plate today, a little bit of

37:01 history.

37:03 She's been behind home before, but now

37:05 officially this season our first

37:06 full-time

37:08 female umpiring in Ben Abbattipolo,

37:09 Kelly Don. Calling balls and strikes

37:12 today.

37:13 Hit back into the stands.

37:16 Unable to ooze in the eyes here from the

37:19 great folks in Round Rock.

37:24 We got a ball and two.

37:30 Up the middle. That gets into center

37:32 field.

37:34 The boys representing the Lone Star

37:35 State can't stop scoring. An RBI single

37:38 from Brother, and that's the fourth run

37:40 here in the top of the first.

37:46 Wow.

37:48 And now, Jason All, what say you?

38:02 >> I know I swore [singing] the last time

38:05 would be the last time, but here I am.

38:10 I ain't too sure [singing] what they

38:12 want me to do.

38:14 Clean up my act. I've been thinking

38:17 about you.

38:18 Oh, baby, here Here one more time. You

38:22 know it's harder [music] than it looks.

38:24 So, watch that

38:25 line. Yeah,

38:27 I've been running so damn [music] long.

38:29 There ain't a woman who can settle me

38:32 down.

38:34 Wilder than a [singing and music] bat

38:36 out of hell, off the rails, and blazing

38:39 through town.

38:42 >> [music]

38:42 >> Then you walked in, floating on air,

38:45 [singing] and you look across the room

38:47 at me.

38:50 Forget the man I [singing and music] am.

38:51 What kind of man do you need?

38:54 >> You tell them, Jason.

38:59 My July.

39:01 Another one of my favorite walk-ups.

39:03 And now he's going to swing the stick

39:05 here.

39:06 For my Texas Tailgaters, Jason Ark.

39:09 Walk-off single last night.

39:12 Scored one of the three points the

39:14 Gators put up in a win.

39:15 Now four runs here in the top of the

39:17 first.

39:18 For the boys in blue and orange. They're

39:20 red, white, and blue today.

39:21 As Prime spins one past.

39:25 Tailgaters the away team here today,

39:27 despite being in Texas on the

39:28 scoreboard.

39:29 It's all Tailgaters headliner show.

39:32 But before the Banana Ball open,

39:34 teams will be flipping home and away on

39:36 the scoreboard until they open.

39:39 Take it off for second, brother, and

39:40 he'll get there easily.

39:42 We call that defensive indifference, we

39:43 call that a stolen base, Rally Turner.

39:45 Will be a stolen base for brother.

39:47 Ball and two.

39:49 Run it even at two balls, two strikes,

39:51 two outs.

39:55 Clowns is trying to stop the bleeding at

39:57 this point.

39:59 Jason got him.

40:02 Karell Prime

40:04 bookend strikeouts, but otherwise in the

40:07 middle. The Texas Tailgaters with four

40:10 runs there in the top of the first.

40:15 We'll talk to you in a home half

40:17 from Round Rock.

40:22 >> And down here on the field, I got my

40:24 buddy Lincoln, and we're going to give

40:26 him a chance to win some of this merch

40:27 right here, but he's got a tough choice

40:29 to make cuz he can either choose to take

40:31 the merchandise or he can choose to pie

40:34 his dad right in the face.

40:38 Let's see what he's going to pick.

40:39 Lincoln, do you want this brand new

40:41 Texas Tailgater baseball or do you want

40:43 to pie your dad?

40:45 >> Pie my dad.

40:47 >> He's going to pie his dad.

40:49 These aren't just any old pies, Round

40:51 Rock. These are grade A, fresh from the

40:53 farm cow pies. You get it right there in

40:56 the face, Lincoln.

40:59 OH, THAT'S A GOOD ONE.

41:01 That's a pretty good one. Here, Dad,

41:02 I'll try to help you out. I'll sweeten

41:04 the deal. Lincoln, do you want this

41:05 Texas Tailgater mini bat or do you want

41:08 to pie your dad?

41:11 >> Pie my dad.

41:12 >> He's going to pie his dad.

41:15 Cow, bring in pie number two. Lincoln,

41:18 give it to him. Right in there. Oh,

41:21 yeah.

41:23 All right, we're going to give you one

41:24 more chance, Dad. It doesn't look good,

41:27 though. Lincoln, do you want this brand

41:30 new Texas Tailgater t-shirt or do you

41:32 want to pie your dad?

41:34 >> Pie my dad.

41:36 >> He's going to pie his daddy.

41:39 Lincoln, everything you got right here

41:42 in this last pie. COME ON.

41:45 OH. [groaning]

41:46 [screaming]

41:47 LINCOLN, YOU DID SUCH a good job. I'm

41:49 going to give you the prizes anyways,

41:51 buddy. One more time for Lincoln and cow

41:54 pie

41:56 >> It's the 2025 Banana Ball All-Star

42:00 towing the rubber today

42:02 for the boys in red, white, and blue,

42:03 Christian Davis.

42:06 He'll face off against Bobby LaDay in

42:08 the bottom of the first.

42:11 Couple of guys with Louisiana ties.

42:14 Bobby played at Louisiana Lafayette for

42:16 part of his college career. Christian, a

42:18 graduate of Southern University. BOBBY,

42:20 WAY OUT TO LEFT CENTER. JASON HART

42:22 Mind your line and has my out number

42:24 one.

42:27 Tell you what, Jason has been playing

42:28 really good ball since being inserted in

42:30 this lineup. Obviously due to the

42:32 absence of Zach Watson, who we hope to

42:34 get back here soon.

42:37 Here you see CD's numbers from last year

42:39 in the All-Star campaign led the

42:40 Tailgaters

42:42 in innings pitched with 50.

42:44 Jackie Bradley Jr.

42:46 JBJ was one for four last night.

42:53 Tell you what, man.

42:54 Jackie is such a glue guy with this

42:57 organization.

42:59 Saw him this morning, was going to go

43:00 grab me a body armor.

43:03 Jackie grabbed me and said, "BEEF, I'M

43:05 SO EXCITED to see you this morning."

43:08 Type of guy we're dealing with here.

43:10 It's a guy that's impossible to not root

43:11 for. SO IS THAT GUY. MAC A DOODLE,

43:14 BUCKET for out number two.

43:21 CD

43:22 keep it pushing, man.

43:24 Might have YOURSELF A QUICK INNING. AND

43:26 WITH THE EQUALIZER in play for the

43:28 Tailgaters today, they lead it one to

43:29 nothing. Quickly the batting order

43:32 for the Clowns, Nico Hoerner is the man

43:34 you see on your screen. As we mentioned,

43:36 getting the start in the lineup and

43:37 defensively today in right field.

43:40 Nico had unreal BP yesterday. If he can

43:43 connect on a fastball,

43:45 he's going to have an opportunity to

43:47 send one a long, long way.

43:50 He's in a hitter's count here, two and

43:51 oh.

43:54 Had a ball four straight and a couple of

43:56 punches yesterday.

43:58 Former farm [music] hand

44:00 of the Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays is

44:03 Nico Hoerner.

44:05 Favorite stat about him?

44:06 He had a couple bombs

44:08 off of Atlanta Braves ace Spencer

44:10 Strider when he was in high A ball.

44:12 >> Ooh.

44:14 Nico leaves the box on a called strike,

44:16 [music] but that's a courtesy there from

44:17 our home plate umpire Kelly Don.

44:19 CD, an opportunity with a payoff to win

44:22 the Tailgaters their first point of the

44:23 ball game.

44:25 High in the sky. Sunny ranging back. K

44:28 Mark coming in. Who wants it? Sunshine!

44:31 Yes!

44:33 Makes the play for out number three, and

44:35 the Texas Tailgaters

44:38 win inning number one for it, and I

44:39 think and win their first point of the

44:42 day. One nothing.

44:44 The Tailgaters in Texas leading Texas.

44:52 >> to our beautiful fans [music] for this

44:54 afternoon's Cowgirls of the game.

44:58 To all

44:59 you young ladies, if you want a Cowgirl

45:01 hat, let

45:03 me hear you.

45:06 >> I hope you know what's on

45:09 the same things

45:12 Yeah, I mean

45:15 is my way.

45:20 I hope you know

45:21 but you [cheering] know

45:24 I hope

45:26 >> [cheering]

45:27 >> I hope you

45:29 and you never

45:30 and you

45:32 somebody every chance you get.

45:34 Oh, you by [music] God's grace

45:36 and every mistake you can always give

45:38 more than you take.

45:40 But you're

45:43 Yeah, I'm all

47:59 >> Mhm.

49:10 >> The ball force sprint

49:12 Indiana Stanley will easily come home to

49:14 score.

49:15 Jordan Hussey trying to get two and will

49:18 do so standing up as Indy backflips on

49:21 the home plate.

49:23 Another RBI ball force sprint for the

49:25 boys in blue and orange.

49:27 Red, white, and blue here today. The

49:29 third RBI ball force sprint. Oh, AND

49:32 WE'RE BACK. HEY, Y'ALL. MISSED YA.

49:37 APPARENTLY, our internet went down.

49:40 Don't know what's going on there, but

49:41 we're back.

49:43 Sloppy grounds one found. Here's all you

49:45 missed. Indiana Stanley got a ball force

49:48 sprint ended up on second. Jonathan

49:49 Sunshine Lutes flew out to right field

49:51 and Nico Holsizer, great diving grab.

49:53 Jordan Hussein then just got a ball four

49:55 sprinting RBI bringing in Indiana

49:57 Stanley. Are we all called up? Are we

49:59 called up? We're all called up, I

50:00 believe. Nick Lopez now at the dish, a

50:02 ball and a strike on him. Now two balls

50:04 and a strike on him. How about that

50:06 banana ball fans, tailgaters fans,

50:07 clowns [music] fans?

50:09 That's how we do it. That's what we call

50:10 a quick recap.

50:12 Lopi fouls it into the mitt, two balls

50:13 and two strikes.

50:14 >> [music]

50:15 >> I missed you guys.

50:17 I really missed you guys.

50:21 That was 5 minutes.

50:22 Ooh.

50:24 Nick Lopez

50:26 gets hit by a pitch yet again.

50:30 And we'll trot down to first.

50:35 Back-to-back weekends Lopi has been hit

50:37 by a pitch.

50:40 So Hussein on second, Lopi on first, JB

50:42 Jordan Barth who was hit by a pitch his

50:44 first time up.

50:45 Just joining us, Gage Bohr, he's not the

50:47 starter in this one. That was Carell

50:48 Perron who gave a forward to the

50:50 tailgaters in the first. Oh man, big old

50:52 looper got JB out in the front foot.

50:58 0-1

51:00 Everybody dance now.

51:04 You guys should see my producer Mohawk

51:06 Mike right now. He is dancing. Swatted

51:08 to the left side IN THE LEFT FIELD.

51:09 COWBOY JOE

51:11 he's got a cannon out there in the left.

51:13 Does Mika hold up Hussein? Now we got a

51:16 duck on every single part of the pond.

51:23 Bases are juiced.

51:25 There's only one out.

51:28 And it's arguably the best hitter

51:31 in this Texas Tailgaters lineup, Cal

51:33 Martin.

51:34 >> [music]

51:37 >> Hitting a RBI ball four sprinting his

51:38 first time up.

51:40 The former All-American at South

51:42 Carolina.

51:47 Tell you what, had some long top half of

51:50 the innings thus far. Texas Tailgaters

51:52 have been on the field for all of 2 and

51:53 1/2 minutes.

51:55 Christian Davis went three up, three

51:56 down in the home half of the first.

52:00 Big inning looming yet again for the

52:01 Tailgaters. Oh man.

52:03 That was a grand salami hack. Instead,

52:05 Evens is up at two balls and two

52:06 strikes.

52:10 Now we're full.

52:13 Three balls and two strikes.

52:16 Payoff incoming.

52:19 Kmart found out to a fan yesterday. WILL

52:22 IT HAPPEN AGAIN TODAY? NO, it's Eli

52:24 Peyton.

52:25 That strong gust of wind blew it back in

52:28 play, and now two outs here in the

52:30 inning.

52:40 Eli Peyton, man. Drafted for his

52:42 defense. Clark Gilmore drafted for his

52:45 pitching and his social media skills

52:46 right there. Able to just hop on the

52:49 top of the dugout. Mac-A-Doodle.

52:52 RBI single his first time up.

52:55 Chops it foul.

52:56 I did get a text from his lovely father,

52:59 who told me him and his momma are

53:00 watching down in Mexico Beach.

53:05 Shout out to Danfords, man.

53:09 Mac

53:10 looking for his first multi-hit ballgame

53:13 of the season.

53:15 Picking out another hit on his resume

53:16 here this afternoon.

53:21 Find this guy out to right.

53:23 Full size

53:24 calling off J V J.

53:26 Nico Tipdrill, bucket.

53:29 A gutsy time to go for a trick play, but

53:31 it worked out. Evens is up at one trick

53:34 play a piece. Tailgaters an opportunity

53:36 to add another point here in the home

53:38 half when the clowns grab the sticks.

53:42 >> But you know what, let's make it a

53:43 competition. Brandon, who you got over

53:46 there?

53:47 >> I'm representing third BASE AND ALL

53:50 [screaming]

53:51 OF THE LEFT field side.

53:53 Better known as the winning side.

53:56 >> Brandon, I'm not scared of you guys

53:58 because I've got the entire first base

54:02 side all the way out into right field.

54:06 And it doesn't get any louder than this.

54:08 Without further ado, let's hit that

54:09 first strike.

54:12 >> [music]

54:37 >> And the winner

54:39 is

54:40 the FIRST BASE

54:41 SIDE.

54:42 >> [cheering]

54:53 >> TRICK PLAYS AT ONE a piece here as the

54:56 Tailgaters

54:57 lead the ball game one to nothing again.

54:59 Just a reminder to remind you have a lot

55:01 here today. We are in Texas. This is a

55:02 Tailgaters headliner. However,

55:05 the Tailgaters are the away team on the

55:07 scoreboard. So the equalizer point is in

55:09 play for the Tailgaters as they're

55:11 trying to get their second point of the

55:13 ball game after another RBI ball for

55:15 Sprint from Jordan Hussein there in the

55:17 top of the second. Christian Davis

55:20 threw the same number of pitches as his

55:22 jersey number there in the first 12 as

55:24 Joe Lidle swapped one into the net.

55:27 Joe was saying yesterday,

55:33 You know the thing I love the most about

55:35 Joe Lidle? It's not his hair. It's not

55:37 him being one of the most elite hitters

55:39 in the sport. He always goes back and

55:40 watches the broadcast.

55:42 I said yesterday about those Band-Aids

55:44 were not from him cutting himself. He

55:45 come up to me today. He goes, "Ah,

55:47 you're just going to tell the world

55:48 that, huh?"

55:49 I said, "Yes, Joe Lada. Yes, I am."

55:52 That one hit just to the left of us.

55:56 He's going to do the two-two tango.

56:01 Poke foul again.

56:03 Yes, Carol and Peggy, you guys are

56:04 asking about the trick plays. It is one

56:06 to one. One to one so far.

56:12 OH, [screaming] GOT HIM.

56:14 CD

56:17 backwards K

56:19 for out number one.

56:23 The good old knee bender and then throw

56:25 him a chair.

56:34 Gorell Prime. Little show hey rule for

56:36 him today. After he was the starting

56:38 pitcher, will now remain as the DH.

56:42 Even at one and one.

56:44 Prime struck out three times yesterday.

56:48 Entering the ball game today,

56:50 he and Indiana Stanley are tied with the

56:52 most strikeouts thus far

56:55 through four games

56:57 in the Banana Ball Championship League.

57:00 Even up to two and two.

57:06 >> [music]

57:07 >> Neon green or neon green here.

57:10 Got him.

57:11 Back-to-back home change for CD.

57:22 Look at that two-seam. Oh my gosh.

57:26 That made me feel something, Riley

57:28 Turner.

57:30 And now time for our donut batter of the

57:33 night,

57:34 Joe Gray Jr. Cowboy Joe, as you know him

57:37 and love him.

57:41 Won't be the donut right here, but looks

57:43 to be out number three. Kmart has it for

57:46 out number three.

57:49 Six up, six down. Play them songs, CD.

57:53 Most importantly, the Texas Tailgaters

57:55 lead this ballgame two points tonight.

58:02 As we roll on to the third frame.

58:07 As we'll see what's going on with the

58:08 Round Rock donuts on the field.

58:10 >> Well, joining me on the field are two

58:12 men aptly named Dwayne and [singing]

58:15 Johnson.

58:17 Dressed as none other than The Rock

58:19 himself, these two are going to race all

58:21 the way from center field towards home

58:24 plate collecting some Round Rock donuts

58:26 on their ankles. The first one to make

58:29 it to home plate with all donuts on

58:32 their legs will not only win the race,

58:34 BUT WILL WIN A TEXAS SIZED ROUND Rock

58:38 donut. Fans, are you ready?

58:43 >> [cheering]

58:43 >> Alrighty, Dwayne, Johnson, on your mark,

58:47 get set, rock.

58:50 Here they go.

58:52 Get that on your leg and we're moving.

58:55 Donut number one.

58:57 There we go.

58:59 It's getting tough. He might start

59:01 shaking.

59:03 Get those donuts on the leg.

59:08 Gold chain attack. A black turtle might

59:10 GET YOU THE WIN. SHOWBOATING.

59:13 Across the line

59:16 and it's Johnson

59:18 the winner of Round Rock donuts.

59:36 >> Gage Voris, second inning of work.

59:39 Is he and the Indianapolis Clown Clowns

59:42 well, trail two TO NOTHING. I DID I DID

59:44 PICK HER FOR A GAME. THAT'S HILARIOUS.

59:46 KEEP KEEP THAT ON THERE FOR A SECOND.

59:48 Out in the stage show, wonderful stage

59:50 show inside I get the pleasure to host

59:51 with Ryan Stone earlier. That is Alida,

59:54 not Aliza but a lot of young Alida. She

59:57 got to play

59:58 uh what do we call it? You you basically

1:00:00 figure out what the song is. Name that

1:00:01 tune. Name that tune, that's what it's

1:00:02 called. And little Alida played that

1:00:04 game with us at the stage show today.

1:00:06 And because of that sign, that's

1:00:08 actually the reason I picked her. Man,

1:00:09 that's a great pick up from Keegan

1:00:11 Woods, our director

1:00:12 back in the truck.

1:00:14 Good stuff, guys.

1:00:15 Ty, you're going to lead us off. Oh and

1:00:17 one.

1:00:24 Clowns one trick player day.

1:00:27 Mohawk Mike, our producer.

1:00:33 DP!

1:00:35 BOBBY! [screaming]

1:00:36 OH, MAN.

1:00:38 WOW.

1:00:39 LEAD OFF single there from Ty. [music]

1:00:47 Keegan Woods has informed me that Grubb

1:00:50 and Dinger did away with our director.

1:00:53 I'm not going to say what Keegan said

1:00:54 that he did, [music] but

1:00:57 our director is not to be anymore.

1:00:59 Grubb is apparently directing the show.

1:01:03 Mohawk Mike is is our producer. I I am

1:01:06 seeing him live and breathe

1:01:08 7 ft away from me.

1:01:11 Brother, ball and a strike.

1:01:21 Brother, a of Houston, Texas. There's

1:01:23 Grub. Now, how is that man

1:01:26 directing our show in our production

1:01:28 truck down the left field line and

1:01:30 laying out getting some sun. And now

1:01:32 he's waving at you.

1:01:34 Grub does it all, I guess. I don't know.

1:01:36 I don't know how that works.

1:01:38 Grub is quite the large man.

1:01:41 And I love that. [music] Look at him

1:01:43 rolling around.

1:01:46 Fan opportunity.

1:01:49 Out to the concourse. Fan put a hand on

1:01:51 it.

1:01:52 Look at that fellow, man.

1:01:55 Me and Grub, we went to Dunkin' Donuts

1:01:57 the other day. I'll tell you what, we

1:01:58 left there and Dunkin' Donuts had to

1:01:59 shut down.

1:02:01 Why? Grub ate everything in there. It

1:02:03 was incredible. It was absolutely

1:02:04 incredible. Full count again to Brother.

1:02:07 Again, the fans will appear to have an

1:02:09 opportunity.

1:02:11 NO!

1:02:12 THAT'S GONE! THE WIND BLEW IT BACK FAIR!

1:02:16 Stuck inside OF THE FOUL POLE! JOSE

1:02:20 Brother Canseco

1:02:21 WITH A TWO-RUN YAYA!

1:02:25 WHAT?

1:02:35 AND THE TAILGATERS HAVE SCORED IN ALL

1:02:37 THE FIRST three frames.

1:02:40 Brother his second home run of the year,

1:02:42 the first in his home state.

1:02:48 Oh, what a great shot right there.

1:02:52 I'm telling y'all, this wind is gusting

1:02:55 up to 47 mph here in Austin today.

1:02:58 Seriously, it's blowing out.

1:03:04 That ball was tailing and tailing and

1:03:05 tailing and then

1:03:07 something just pushed it back fair.

1:03:12 Ball and a strike.

1:03:14 Ball and two strikes, actually. Pardon

1:03:15 me there.

1:03:18 Gage, trick pitch.

1:03:20 >> [music]

1:03:20 >> Two and two.

1:03:30 Got him.

1:03:33 Jason has now struck out twice today.

1:03:35 Chris Burgess and Gage Worley is a

1:03:37 strikeout cell.

1:04:04 >> [music]

1:04:06 >> Indiana Stanley

1:04:08 You missed his first plate appearance,

1:04:09 but I promise you it was a two-bag ball

1:04:12 for sprint.

1:04:17 He's now ahead here two and oh.

1:04:23 Indy, high in the sky.

1:04:27 Towards Grab, actually. As now Francis

1:04:29 Jr.

1:04:31 struggling with the wind, but able to

1:04:32 make the play for out number two.

1:04:34 Thank you. See, I'm not a crazy man. You

1:04:37 see the Tailgaters flag, you see the

1:04:39 American flag, and then the big Texas

1:04:41 flag there.

1:04:42 The wind is a whipping here in Round

1:04:44 Rock, Texas.

1:04:46 Quite literally, I woke up this morning.

1:04:48 I've never [music] seen this message

1:04:49 before on my phone. I check the weather

1:04:50 app every morning.

1:04:52 It's one of the things that I'm very OCD

1:04:54 about it here in this life.

1:04:56 As Sunshine gets hit on the shoulder

1:05:00 What's Sunny got for us?

1:05:04 Nothing.

1:05:07 I seen Inshiraf, my good friend, running

1:05:08 out there with his camera.

1:05:12 As now we'll turn over the lineup card

1:05:14 back to Jordan Hussein. Jordan's going

1:05:15 to talk to us.

1:05:37 >> [music]

1:05:38 >> And what they GOING TO BE DOING?

1:05:40 SWINGING.

1:05:47 SWINGING.

1:06:00 SWINGING.

1:06:02 Come on, J5. Now [music] it's time for

1:06:04 you to swing it.

1:06:07 Can I tell y'all a secret between me,

1:06:08 you, and God?

1:06:11 I was listening to that song last Monday

1:06:13 afternoon.

1:06:14 And I said, "How on God's green earth

1:06:16 have we not used that for a walk-up

1:06:18 yet?"

1:06:19 And then

1:06:21 I go and talk to Jordan Watson, and she

1:06:23 said, "Well, well, who's going to our

1:06:24 director of entertainment here for the

1:06:25 Tailgaters?" She said, "Well, then who

1:06:26 would do that?" Is it Eric Pickholz

1:06:28 throwing out an E1 while our sunshine

1:06:30 advances a second?

1:06:31 I said, "Clearly Jordan Hussein."

1:06:34 And then Jordan goes, "Yeah, I've known

1:06:35 every lyric of that song since I was 3

1:06:37 years old."

1:06:38 Good, Jordan. Good.

1:06:44 J5 now ahead.

1:06:46 Two balls, no strikes.

1:06:52 J5!

1:06:53 DEEP LEFT CENTER!

1:06:55 CARRY IT!

1:06:56 IT'LL TWO-HOP THE FENCE.

1:06:58 JORDAN ON HIS HORSE.

1:07:00 FIVER WANTS THREE, AND HE HOBBLES IN ON

1:07:04 HIS STOMACH.

1:07:06 A TWO-OUT RBI TRIPLE AND J5 IS SWINGING

1:07:10 IT.

1:07:19 That is some of the best contact I've

1:07:21 ever seen

1:07:23 from our captain,

1:07:24 the Texas kid Jordan Hussey.

1:07:27 Maybe we got to give him more walk-ups.

1:07:30 Maybe we got to give him some more

1:07:31 walk-ups. Loopy,

1:07:34 o for one today.

1:07:35 Loopy,

1:07:36 a bullet right to Nico Holsizer who will

1:07:39 catch it for out number three. Another

1:07:42 inning down

1:07:43 and another inning which the Texas

1:07:45 Tailgaters have scored.

1:07:47 Two runs there in the top of the third

1:07:48 looking to get in route

1:07:50 to a three to nothing three runs there

1:07:53 in the top of the third. Thank you.

1:07:54 Let's go down to Bananas Foster with

1:07:56 Bella Lane.

1:07:56 >> Bella Lane.

1:09:04 >> [cheering]

1:09:37 >> Our Bananas foster family of the night.

1:09:42 Text bunch to 50155

1:09:44 [music] and please support Bananas

1:09:46 foster.

1:09:47 The Weigers family.

1:09:51 Got to talk to them a little bit earlier

1:09:52 here today.

1:09:53 Great bunch of people, man.

1:09:55 Mel Elaine doing a great job out there

1:09:58 presenting the Weigers family

1:10:00 here to these

1:10:02 Banana Ball fans in Round Rock, Texas.

1:10:05 Man, what a great moment. Every single

1:10:08 time it always hits.

1:10:10 Always reminds you we're here for a much

1:10:12 bigger purpose than just playing a

1:10:14 Banana Ball game today.

1:10:22 On this day in Round Rock Town, the

1:10:24 Texas Tailgaters lead it two to nothing

1:10:26 with an opportunity to make it three to

1:10:28 nothing on the back of that man,

1:10:29 Christian Davis.

1:10:32 Who thus far has went six up, six down

1:10:35 in this 88° weather in Round Rock.

1:10:37 Before I was rudely interrupted by

1:10:38 Jordan Hussein after his walk up in his

1:10:40 RBI triple, how dare you, J5? I was

1:10:42 going to tell you, I have what they call

1:10:44 a Have you guys ever heard of this? A

1:10:45 red flag warning? What? That's in my

1:10:48 weather app.

1:10:49 These conditions are expected until at

1:10:51 least 8:00 p.m. tomorrow.

1:10:53 Additional alert, wind advisory.

1:10:56 What's going on there, Riley Turner?

1:10:58 What's going on there?

1:11:00 Wind gusts are up to like 30 mph right

1:11:02 now.

1:11:04 I'm surprised Grubbs' hat is still on

1:11:05 his noggin.

1:11:07 Bottom of the third.

1:11:10 Mind you, we've only seen six batters

1:11:12 this far for the Clowns. We've seen 22

1:11:14 for the Texas Tailgaters.

1:11:18 Clowns are the home team. Tailgaters are

1:11:20 the away team. That's typical that the

1:11:21 third the third turn through the order

1:11:24 when you're only at the seven-hole

1:11:25 hitter for the Clowns. This is

1:11:27 incredible stuff we're seeing today.

1:11:31 Oh, okay. I got a piece of CD.

1:11:33 Sunshine, BETWEEN THE LEGS. BUCKET!

1:11:36 1-4-3

1:11:39 trick play.

1:11:46 That's good stuff, man.

1:11:49 You know, Sunshine had a trick play last

1:11:51 night that was so good I didn't even

1:11:52 recognize he did it in real time.

1:11:56 That was almost the same.

1:11:58 CD now looks to be okay. Takes a couple

1:12:00 deep breaths out there.

1:12:03 Eli Payton lefty on lefty match up.

1:12:10 Eli floats it out to the left. Jason

1:12:13 Art.

1:12:14 Jason Art. Wow.

1:12:16 See the wind playing into effect there.

1:12:18 Almost over attic coming in.

1:12:20 But Jay had it for out number two.

1:12:26 And now it'll be Chris Burgess.

1:12:29 Usually when you look at your nine-hole

1:12:32 you're probably going

1:12:33 easy out. Nope.

1:12:35 Couple of hits last night.

1:12:38 As we mentioned top of the show, the

1:12:39 only Clown with a multi-hit ball game

1:12:41 yesterday.

1:12:45 Chris former Orioles farm hand. Bless

1:12:47 you, Riley Turner.

1:12:49 He's sneezing

1:12:51 profusely over here. He's allergic to

1:12:53 the wind.

1:12:55 Can I please get in the chat, bless you

1:12:56 Riley.

1:12:59 No balls and two strikes.

1:13:02 CD trying to go nine up nine down.

1:13:05 Ooh, ball and two strikes.

1:13:18 Mhm.

1:13:20 Two balls.

1:13:21 Two strikes. Two outs.

1:13:25 CD, Chris Burgess.

1:13:31 Floated in the air, first base side. A

1:13:33 lot of fans over there.

1:13:36 Oh.

1:13:37 And it falls beneath of sea of about

1:13:40 four people.

1:13:42 Geez, man.

1:13:46 We're getting a lot of bless you

1:13:46 Riley's.

1:13:48 Riley, the people care about you, man.

1:13:51 They want you to be okay.

1:13:52 Somebody bring him a Kleenex, please.

1:13:55 The two two once more.

1:13:57 CB.

1:13:58 That's blistered into a suite.

1:14:01 Ricochets.

1:14:02 A young lady able to pick it up in that

1:14:04 suite.

1:14:07 The two two tango that's lasted 14

1:14:09 years, we'll do it once more.

1:14:11 And again, it's fouled off.

1:14:14 On the roof this time. Did you know you

1:14:16 can walk on the roof here?

1:14:17 Like actually walk on the roof. It's a

1:14:19 fire hazard, that's why I haven't done

1:14:20 it, but it's possible.

1:14:22 Just in case you were wondering at home.

1:14:26 Chopper up the middle, and that's the

1:14:28 first hit of the ball game.

1:14:30 CD throws his glove in disgust.

1:14:34 As the first hit for the Indianapolis

1:14:36 Clowns comes off the bat of Chris

1:14:38 Burgess. Shocker.

1:14:40 >> [music]

1:14:40 >> Got to have two hits last night. Gets

1:14:42 the first one tonight for the Clowns as

1:14:43 Kirkland Banks is going to come in and

1:14:45 run it first. And now, Jaylen Vasquez.

1:14:50 What you talking about down there, JV?

1:15:05 >> [music]

1:15:22 [music]

1:15:26 >> Old man, old Knuckles IS A CHICKEN.

1:15:44 OLD MAN, THAT'S A FUN RUNNER right

1:15:46 there.

1:15:47 Jaylen Vasquez

1:15:49 and man as a chicken.

1:15:55 Oh, that's good.

1:15:59 Instead of old Knuckles,

1:16:01 we're going to call him old nuggets.

1:16:04 That's good.

1:16:06 That's a cloud scraper. Fiver, tip

1:16:09 drill, bucket.

1:16:12 Tailgaters lead the ball game now three

1:16:15 nothing. They lead the trick play battle

1:16:17 now three to one.

1:16:19 So, we roll on to the fourth. IT'S ALL

1:16:21 TAILGATERS IN THE GREAT state of Texas.

1:16:25 Hands in the air.

1:16:28 There it is. On your feet with those

1:16:29 hands in the air. It's time to clap

1:16:31 along and dance along to a little hey,

1:16:34 baby.

1:16:38 Let's get those hands clapping.

1:16:42 >> Okay, put your hands up in the air.

1:16:45 >> If you don't know what this song is

1:17:02 Here we go.

1:17:15 Now keep those hands clapping while we

1:17:17 shuffle.

1:17:31 Hands up.

1:17:35 >> [music]

1:17:42 >> One more time everything you got run

1:17:44 rock.

1:17:58 You guys killed it.

1:18:21 >> Gage Vorhees still in the ballgame.

1:18:22 Little hey baby action.

1:18:25 Ryan Stone getting into it.

1:18:28 Look at Mac man.

1:18:31 If I look that good when I'm 62 I'm

1:18:33 going to be doing something right. If I

1:18:34 look half that good I'll be doing

1:18:36 something right at 62.

1:18:38 >> If I can manage half as good, I'll be

1:18:39 doing something right, too. As the

1:18:40 Tailgaters are up three points to none.

1:18:43 You got THAT DOG IN YOU?

1:18:47 >> I did eat a couple breakfast cookies

1:18:49 this morning. We had to get to the yard

1:18:51 pretty early today, so I would indeed

1:18:53 say I have that dog in me so far today.

1:18:56 >> Grub's got a lot of dogs in him.

1:19:07 All the good Tailgaters fans here in

1:19:08 Texas. Tell you what, those red, white,

1:19:10 and blue Texas flag uniforms are very

1:19:12 popular among the fan base here in

1:19:14 Texas.

1:19:16 In my opinion, the best jersey in Banana

1:19:17 Ball, but that is a subjective uh

1:19:20 statement, of course. Hard to line up

1:19:22 here for the Tailgaters. Jordan Barth,

1:19:23 Kyle Martin, Mack, Danford.

1:19:26 Tailgaters, by the way, lead the trick

1:19:28 play race three to one. They lead the

1:19:30 ball game three to nothing.

1:19:32 JB up the middle. Bobby La Dache.

1:19:35 360.

1:19:37 Not in time. Infield single for Jordan

1:19:39 Barth, his second hit of the ballgame.

1:19:43 That's one, Jordan Barth. He's been

1:19:45 blistering the Banana Ball all over the

1:19:47 diamond. He hit that one slow enough to

1:19:49 get on base.

1:19:51 And at the end of the day, everything

1:19:53 always equals out in this sport of

1:19:55 Banana Ball.

1:19:57 Runner on first, K Martin.

1:19:59 Ball four, sprint back in the first.

1:20:02 Tailgaters put up eight runs today. Four

1:20:04 in the first, one in the second, three

1:20:05 in the third, in route to those three

1:20:07 points.

1:20:09 Oh, this one gets past Chris Burgess.

1:20:11 Passed ball allowed JB to advance up 90

1:20:13 ft.

1:20:19 Things today

1:20:21 have seemingly went all Tailgaters. And

1:20:24 the Clowns have not had the least bit of

1:20:26 luck this far.

1:20:28 As Chris Burgess,

1:20:30 I don't know if something's wrong with

1:20:31 his mitt something's wrong with him.

1:20:34 It would appear something's wrong with

1:20:35 his mitt. Yeah, he's he's he's asking

1:20:36 for a new catcher's mitt down there.

1:20:39 Chris had a all black catcher's mitt,

1:20:41 now comes out with one that's red and

1:20:42 black.

1:20:44 So, there you see Kelly Don, we

1:20:45 mentioned her earlier. First full-time

1:20:47 female umpire in Ban Animal.

1:20:51 Balls [music] and strikes here this

1:20:52 afternoon.

1:20:56 Kmart, two and oh.

1:20:59 This is incredible, man. This is we're

1:21:01 halfway through. We're almost halfway

1:21:03 through.

1:21:04 The third turn in the order for the

1:21:05 Tailgaters.

1:21:07 The Clowns have only batted 10 guys, one

1:21:09 full time through the lineup.

1:21:13 As another ball four a sprint, another

1:21:15 RBI for Kmart.

1:21:17 How far will he end up? Kmart trying to

1:21:19 push the envelope, going for two and

1:21:21 will have a stand-up two-bagger RBI ball

1:21:25 four a sprint.

1:21:32 Wow.

1:21:35 For those asking in the chat, the only

1:21:37 trick play thus far

1:21:39 for the Indianapolis Clowns

1:21:43 came off the bat of Mac Danforth

1:21:46 when Nico Holscher had a tip drill.

1:21:48 Mac sends this one a long ways.

1:21:50 Jackie has it in center

1:21:52 for out number one. Kmart advances up 90

1:21:55 ft.

1:22:05 TAJ.

1:22:07 FEEL LIKE WE'VE SEEN TAJ HIT 42 times

1:22:09 today.

1:22:11 Upstairs.

1:22:14 He's had a good day, ball four a sprint

1:22:15 and a single. I mean, in reality, what

1:22:17 Tailgater hasn't had a good day thus

1:22:19 far? They've scored in every single

1:22:20 inning and have put up a crooked number

1:22:22 in two of the four.

1:22:25 This is incredible.

1:22:29 Kirill Prime started this ball game for

1:22:31 the clowns. That's Gage Voorhees. Couple

1:22:33 of former bananas from last year.

1:22:37 One big thing [music] for the Tailgaters

1:22:39 they worked on in the off-season as a

1:22:41 collective group and all the new guys

1:22:42 have bought [music] into this.

1:22:45 Take it until you get it.

1:22:46 Taj fires one into the net. Foul.

1:22:53 That's why you're seeing all these ball

1:22:54 fours. Prince up and down the lineup

1:22:56 here for the boys in red, white, and

1:22:57 blue. The two-two.

1:22:59 Back into the net.

1:23:01 We've also seen a lot more of those

1:23:02 today.

1:23:03 Kirill Prime threw 37 pitches in the

1:23:05 first inning due to just a lot of long

1:23:08 ABs. As the Texas two-steppers getting

1:23:10 into it before the two-two again.

1:23:12 Taj rolls IT OVER. JAYLEN VASQUEZ

1:23:15 able to stop it

1:23:17 but another RBI and another base hit for

1:23:19 Taj Porter and the Texas Tailgaters.

1:23:22 Taj has not been retired today.

1:23:27 Talk about that unluckiness. Man, that's

1:23:30 an incredible effort from Jaylen

1:23:31 Vasquez. Just went right out of his

1:23:33 mitt.

1:23:35 Now it's Jose Broderick Encarnacion

1:23:37 who hit a two-run homer his last time

1:23:38 up.

1:23:40 And the wind tricked me into thinking it

1:23:42 was foul.

1:23:46 This one

1:23:48 way up in the sky. Chris Burgess trying

1:23:51 to play it. Chris all

1:23:53 spikes didn't quite bite into the dirt.

1:23:57 As he'll hop back on his feet and we'll

1:23:58 do a ball and a strike.

1:24:04 Man, I like Chris a lot.

1:24:06 Really good effort there and again, we

1:24:08 continue to mention the storyline that

1:24:09 is the wind.

1:24:12 And it is just that here today.

1:24:14 >> [cheering]

1:24:25 >> Folks are getting a good show here in

1:24:27 Texas. I'll tell you what, especially

1:24:28 all these Tailgater fans.

1:24:32 Gage Vorhees

1:24:34 has had to throw a lot of pitches.

1:24:36 Thought Correll Prime would be able to

1:24:37 go multiple innings, not after that

1:24:39 first.

1:24:40 Brother now, full count.

1:24:44 It is going to be a long day for this

1:24:46 Clown's pitching staff.

1:24:48 Again, they didn't burn through

1:24:49 everybody yesterday, which is good news

1:24:51 right now. And Gage Vorhees, despite

1:24:53 losing them some inning, is still

1:24:55 getting some valuable outs out there.

1:24:58 Brother

1:24:59 right at Vasquez, 4-6-3

1:25:02 DOUBLE PLAY!

1:25:06 WOW. YOU TALK about clutch

1:25:09 getting Vorhees out of that inning. Two

1:25:11 more still come across the score for the

1:25:13 Tailgaters, and an opportunity now in

1:25:15 the home half for them to win the first

1:25:18 four innings. That has never happened in

1:25:21 the history of the Texas Tailgaters.

1:25:24 AS NOW, DONNIE ALLEN.

1:25:32 >> Every time I do my boot boot laces up,

1:25:34 bud, I'm staring death right in the

1:25:36 eyes. How many baseballers are doing

1:25:38 that?

1:25:40 >> I hear you, Brett. I hear you.

1:25:41 >> Crocky, watch out, John. Have a look at

1:25:44 the size of this beauty.

1:25:45 >> I got him, mate.

1:25:46 >> I got

1:25:48 Isn't he gorgeous?

1:25:50 >> Uh Brett, stop, man. We don't need that.

1:25:53 >> Give us a hand, mate. Give us a hand.

1:25:56 >> I'll catch you later, dude.

1:25:59 >> Run!

1:26:00 Help!

1:26:04 >> [cheering]

1:26:08 >> Brett just witnessed you know what.

1:26:12 It's Brett Donnie Allen, the wonder from

1:26:14 down under.

1:26:17 But a young man

1:26:18 who did you know it Raleigh Turner

1:26:20 grew up for his first 12 years of his

1:26:22 life right here in Austin, Texas. A

1:26:25 homecoming weekend [music] for Donnie.

1:26:28 Birthday was 2 days ago.

1:26:30 As you see sixth round pick.

1:26:33 Mother actually from Austin, Texas.

1:26:36 Father from Australia.

1:26:37 Spent about half his life there and half

1:26:39 his [music] life here.

1:26:41 Played at Reinhardt University in

1:26:43 Georgia. NAIA school. Where he broke the

1:26:45 program record in saves last year

1:26:47 [music] coming out of the back end of

1:26:49 that bullpen. Now Donnie with the

1:26:51 Tailgaters.

1:26:54 Was a visitor a season ago.

1:27:02 His third appearance of the year.

1:27:05 As

1:27:06 >> [laughter]

1:27:07 >> after he warmed up, had to go throw his

1:27:09 microphone off to Jordan Watson.

1:27:15 Donnie pitching in the Steve Irwin fit.

1:27:18 To face the top of the Clown's order.

1:27:21 Ooh, that got Bobby.

1:27:26 First free pass issued out by the

1:27:27 Tailgaters today.

1:27:35 Yeah, look at that.

1:27:37 There you see

1:27:40 a fan wishing Donnie his happy 24th

1:27:42 birthday yesterday.

1:27:46 Now he's facing Jackie Bradley Jr. I've

1:27:48 never seen somebody get more birthday

1:27:50 presents in their life yesterday. And I

1:27:52 went to a lot of birthday parties

1:27:53 between the ages of 3 and 12.

1:27:57 2 and 0.

1:28:01 1 and 1. Pardon me, that was a called

1:28:03 strike the first pitch.

1:28:05 Oh, that was a called strike?

1:28:08 Bobby takes off. TY STROLLS DOWN TO

1:28:11 SECOND. SAFE. Ball came out.

1:28:23 Bobby swipes his second bag of the year.

1:28:26 Now in scoring position.

1:28:28 The one and one count on JBJ.

1:28:33 Critical critical inning here. You see

1:28:35 those two runs in the top of the fourth

1:28:37 for the Tailgaters. They're trying to

1:28:38 make a four nothing game.

1:28:41 This would be insane. Again, the

1:28:42 Tailgaters never in their history. Bobby

1:28:44 trying to take off for third. Ty throws

1:28:45 it down there. Reggie Liggins says not

1:28:48 in time. Bobby LaDay looks like Ricky

1:28:50 Henderson right now.

1:28:53 Steals second. Steals third.

1:28:57 And now a runner 90 ft away from JBJ.

1:29:00 And a ball four sprint.

1:29:02 As Bobby will just walk home. JACKIE

1:29:05 TRYING TO GET TWO. JACKIE

1:29:08 WILL GET TWO.

1:29:10 An RBI ball four sprint. And the clowns

1:29:13 trying to make some hay here.

1:29:15 In the bottom of the fourth.

1:29:18 Ooh, that's close.

1:29:23 That's the first run of the ball game

1:29:25 after Christian Davis retired nine of

1:29:27 the 10 guys he faced.

1:29:30 Brett Allen two free passes hit by pitch

1:29:32 ball four sprint. Now Nico Holsizer.

1:29:39 Nico, we mentioned it yesterday,

1:29:40 roommates with Tailgaters center fielder

1:29:43 Indiana Stanley.

1:29:47 When you get to sit in the same room

1:29:49 with those two guys, it's it's rather

1:29:50 hilarious.

1:29:52 They act like

1:29:54 big brother little brother. Nico

1:29:55 obviously bigger in size and older. The

1:29:58 bigger brother there.

1:29:59 He'll come up empty on that spinner

1:30:01 there from Donnie.

1:30:03 It is indeed only the bottom of the

1:30:05 fourth the chat is asking. It is That is

1:30:07 correct.

1:30:08 Jackie dancing around there at second.

1:30:12 Donny

1:30:14 Slider misses high.

1:30:28 Mhm.

1:30:29 Now, one more pitch away from another

1:30:30 ball for Spred, which would tie this

1:30:32 inning up for the Clowns.

1:30:42 Got him.

1:30:44 THE WONDER FROM DOWN UNDER

1:30:47 >> [laughter]

1:30:49 >> CELEBRATES HIS first strikeout of the

1:30:51 ballgame.

1:30:54 What was that?

1:31:00 I saw Donny post a TikTok of that the

1:31:02 other day,

1:31:04 but I still hadn't seen that dance in

1:31:05 real life. Now, Joe Lino

1:31:08 shaking his mullet,

1:31:09 >> [music]

1:31:09 >> trying to shake his bat and bring in the

1:31:12 tying run here in the inning in form of

1:31:13 Jackie Bradley Jr.

1:31:22 This only the second turn through the

1:31:24 Clowns order

1:31:26 in the bottom of the fourth. Joe

1:31:29 right to Mac, plays it off the glove.

1:31:31 Mac still goes between the legs TO

1:31:32 FIRST. LOOK AT

1:31:35 Tailgaters now lead the trick play

1:31:36 battle 4 to 1.

1:31:41 Good recovery there from Macadoo.

1:31:46 His second trick play of the ballgame.

1:31:49 And again, the fourth for the

1:31:50 Tailgaters.

1:31:54 Brett Allen

1:31:56 Carell Prime. Oh, man, that buckled

1:31:58 Carell, but still a ball.

1:32:00 >> [laughter]

1:32:01 >> What an incredible curve ball there from

1:32:03 Donny.

1:32:05 Try to hug her down and win this inning

1:32:06 for the boys in red, white, and blue.

1:32:17 One strike away.

1:32:25 After last night's game was a much

1:32:27 faster moving game.

1:32:29 Little more rapacious here this

1:32:31 afternoon.

1:32:33 Ooh,

1:32:34 man.

1:32:36 Wow.

1:32:38 That was a good pitch.

1:32:41 Two balls, two strikes, two outs.

1:32:46 Now we're on a full.

1:32:56 OH, [groaning and screaming]

1:32:57 NO, HE DIDN'T.

1:33:00 OH, he caught a piece of Taj.

1:33:02 Thought Taj had it in the mitt. I think

1:33:04 it ricocheted the mitt, hit his helmet.

1:33:06 And now we'll do the payoff one more

1:33:07 time.

1:33:09 Mhm.

1:33:13 Tell you what.

1:33:15 The Tailgaters can't can't afford to

1:33:17 lose any more guys.

1:33:18 >> Hopefully Taj is okay there.

1:33:19 >> Oh, man.

1:33:20 >> Oh, wow.

1:33:21 >> Yep.

1:33:22 Taj got the mask back on, ready to go.

1:33:25 Payoff again.

1:33:27 Chopper foul.

1:33:29 LUCKY COACH TONY TV fielding it. Oh,

1:33:31 right back to Greg Allen.

1:33:34 Tony Morrow

1:33:36 played for the Pilgrims

1:33:38 back in a Thanksgiving Banana Ball game

1:33:40 in 2020. Anyway.

1:33:46 That was a Was that not a foul tip into

1:33:48 the mitt? YES, IT IS. THAT'S A

1:33:50 STRIKEOUT.

1:33:52 AND DONNY ALLEN WINS THE FOURTH INNING

1:33:55 OF THE DAY FOR THE TAILGATERS. AND IN

1:33:57 THE FIRST TIME IN TAILGATERS HISTORY,

1:33:59 THEY HAVE WON EACH OF THE first four

1:34:00 innings of a Banana Ball game.

1:34:06 That makes me think, MAN, MY GRANDMA'S

1:34:09 GOT SOME SOUL.

1:34:14 >> Here we've got two of the finest

1:34:15 grandmas around who want to showcase

1:34:17 some of their talents here in a

1:34:18 sing-off.

1:34:20 >> And you the bands are going to decide

1:34:21 who wins. THIS IS GRANDMA GOT SOUL.

1:34:26 >> [cheering]

1:34:27 >> FIRST UP, WE GOT OUR FIRST GRANDMA. SAY

1:34:29 your name.

1:34:30 >> Diana.

1:34:30 >> You ready?

1:34:31 >> Yeah, I'm nervous.

1:34:33 >> LET'S GET IT, DJ.

1:34:41 All right, here we go, y'all.

1:34:56 All right, child.

1:35:02 OH!

1:35:04 >> [cheering]

1:35:05 >> All right, all right, all right. Not too

1:35:06 bad, not too bad. Well, contestant

1:35:08 number two here, could you give us your

1:35:10 name?

1:35:10 >> Glinda the Good Witch.

1:35:12 >> Glinda the Good, everybody. Well,

1:35:14 Glinda, are you ready?

1:35:16 She says no, but we're going TO GO

1:35:17 ANYWAY. DJ, HIT IT.

1:35:50 GLINDA THE GOOD, EVERYBODY. Glinda the

1:35:52 Good, give it up. Give it up. All this

1:35:54 time for you to dance in the side. Was

1:35:57 it Glinda?

1:35:59 >> [cheering]

1:36:01 >> Was it

1:36:04 Grandma's got soul.

1:36:06 >> [cheering]

1:36:07 >> And you know who else has got a little

1:36:08 soul?

1:36:09 My good pal Cowboy Joe Gray.

1:36:13 How you doing my friend?

1:36:14 >> Talk to me. Everything good?

1:36:16 >> It's really good with me man. And you

1:36:19 know it really makes me wonder why

1:36:20 you're wearing that cowboy hat. Why

1:36:21 aren't you wearing red, white and blue

1:36:22 today? That's what I want to know.

1:36:23 >> Hey, that's a

1:36:25 That's a that's a Joe question. That's

1:36:26 the head honcho over [laughter] there.

1:36:28 He had his decision.

1:36:29 >> Your name is Joe. That's why I'm asking

1:36:30 you.

1:36:31 >> No, that head honcho for the tailgating.

1:36:32 >> [laughter]

1:36:33 >> It's story about Joe Mickolic. Uh

1:36:35 Joe, I do got to ask you.

1:36:37 Cigar L pick back in 2018. You were

1:36:40 actually recruited by Brandon Pennington

1:36:42 now out of high school. Tell us about

1:36:44 that.

1:36:44 >> Um

1:36:45 Yeah man, I was at Hazle high.

1:36:48 And honestly it's going to sound crazy,

1:36:50 [music] but I mean I was already kind of

1:36:53 going to have my mind made up to go to

1:36:55 Mississippi State. And then [music]

1:36:57 you know some unfortunate things

1:36:58 happened with the coach at the time. So

1:37:00 I ended up switching my commitment to

1:37:01 Ole Miss. Um

1:37:04 And then basically I had a conversation

1:37:06 with him whether or not because of all

1:37:08 that turmoil, you know, cuz I I was

1:37:10 going to go to school for robotics

1:37:10 [music] engineering. So it wasn't a

1:37:11 grades thing. It just I was like all

1:37:14 right, do I

1:37:15 do I go to Juco, get that one [music]

1:37:17 year, then get drafted, you know, try to

1:37:19 get you know, go into the draft again or

1:37:21 or not. So it almost was a thing. It's

1:37:24 going to be a little bit of a finesse,

1:37:25 but you know, ultimately ended up

1:37:27 getting uh getting drafted [music] by

1:37:28 the Brewers.

1:37:30 >> Joe, you got to you got to make this

1:37:31 play. There you go. Lead off single

1:37:33 there from Jason Art.

1:37:35 First hit for him today.

1:37:39 Wow. Almost every every single tailgater

1:37:41 has now reached. I hate to tell you that

1:37:43 Joe, but it's been an offensive

1:37:44 onslaught.

1:37:45 >> Yeah, you know.

1:37:47 Um when you don't come prepared for

1:37:49 things stuff stuff like this happens.

1:37:51 >> Yeah, I do want to ask you. Cuz this is

1:37:53 a serious thing. Obviously, you know,

1:37:55 we're all humans and the human element

1:37:56 plays into this.

1:37:57 >> Yeah.

1:37:57 >> The the the night game [music] last

1:37:59 night to the day game today, how much of

1:38:00 effect do you think that's played for

1:38:01 you guys?

1:38:02 >> I think I think at at that point the

1:38:05 preparation and that point, you know

1:38:07 what I'm saying? I think we were all

1:38:08 good on that on that. It's just

1:38:11 I think a lot of us are starting

1:38:12 especially from the hidden scale point

1:38:13 because our our team is

1:38:15 proud ourselves on on the hidden. You

1:38:17 know, we got bangers. Problem is is we

1:38:20 still haven't figured out that

1:38:22 that that thing to do between games in

1:38:25 the weekends cuz we're used to playing

1:38:28 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,

1:38:29 Friday and if there's any discrepancies

1:38:32 or any, you know, negatives in our swing

1:38:34 we got 7 days to figure that out. Well,

1:38:37 you ain't got 7 days. You know what I'm

1:38:39 saying?

1:38:39 So,

1:38:40 that's the hardest part. I think we just

1:38:42 mentally are not prepared yet. We will

1:38:44 get there, but we just got to figure out

1:38:46 how to how to stay in the groove.

1:38:49 >> I think that really speaks to a [music]

1:38:51 point then

1:38:52 Joe as

1:38:55 Well,

1:38:56 something going on there. They they

1:38:57 called Indiana Stanley out. I guess they

1:38:59 said that one bounced. Strike out there

1:39:01 for Dayan Reynoso who just entered the

1:39:03 ball game.

1:39:04 As now what what do you got on this Joe?

1:39:06 Sunshine's going to come up and hit on a

1:39:08 unicycle.

1:39:13 What you got on that cowboy Joe?

1:39:15 >> Or what?

1:39:15 >> Sunshine swinging a stick on a

1:39:18 on a on a unicycle.

1:39:19 >> You know,

1:39:20 >> [music]

1:39:21 >> I'll just say

1:39:22 I never would have thought when I was a

1:39:24 little kid I'd ever be

1:39:27 in left field [music]

1:39:28 with a guy on a unicycle,

1:39:30 but that's fine. You know,

1:39:33 it's

1:39:34 man Sunshine's an amazing guy, man. He's

1:39:36 every time I see him, every time I walk

1:39:38 in the the clubhouse he doesn't hesitate

1:39:40 to talk to me.

1:39:42 And I always appreciate that, man.

1:39:44 Especially being in so many other uh

1:39:46 clubhouses.

1:39:48 >> That's That's a big thing to you. You're

1:39:50 talking about the adjustment of hitting.

1:39:51 You're talking about the adjustment of

1:39:52 count all time in between weeks.

1:39:53 >> Yeah.

1:39:54 >> You're playing behind a guy who's has a

1:39:56 barrel, who's a rodeo clown. There's a

1:39:57 guy at the dish

1:39:58 >> Yeah.

1:39:58 >> on a unicycle. What has been the biggest

1:40:01 adjustment you think to this from from

1:40:03 affiliate ball, independent ball, now

1:40:05 you're in American Association as well,

1:40:06 now to Banana Ball for you?

1:40:08 >> Man, um

1:40:09 biggest thing is, man,

1:40:11 don't put so much uh worldly pressure on

1:40:14 yourself. You know, if

1:40:16 >> [cheering]

1:40:16 >> you look out here, the whole point is

1:40:18 >> Oh, Sunshine Joe! Sunshine!

1:40:21 It's his third ever hit on a unicycle!

1:40:25 >> [cheering]

1:40:25 >> And then he takes a bite out of the

1:40:27 glizzy!

1:40:31 >> All right. And you know it's crazy, like

1:40:33 uh

1:40:34 and I'll put it saying this, but I'll

1:40:35 add on to what to what Sunshine just

1:40:37 did.

1:40:38 Um

1:40:40 Man, uh it's just basically, you know,

1:40:42 like I said, don't have that that

1:40:43 worldly pressure.

1:40:45 >> [music]

1:40:45 >> I mean, when I first got drafted, I felt

1:40:46 like as an 18-year-old, being from South

1:40:48 Mississippi, you know, it's not many

1:40:50 black kids and African-American kids

1:40:52 that make it to the big leagues from

1:40:53 where I'm from. So, I felt like I had to

1:40:55 put the whole weight of my world to get

1:40:57 to the big leagues, and I think it

1:40:58 [music] negatively affected me,

1:40:59 honestly.

1:41:01 >> Ooh, Matt Wallner.

1:41:03 Ooh.

1:41:05 >> Oh, man. He's He's worth He's worth

1:41:06 getting out.

1:41:07 >> say about that?

1:41:08 I know you're way out there in the left.

1:41:10 It looked close from up here.

1:41:12 >> You know,

1:41:14 I I'm a I'm a I'm a give umpire Nunez

1:41:16 getting in his face.

1:41:19 You know,

1:41:21 >> Looks safe by a hair. Second hit of the

1:41:23 ball game from Jordan Hussein.

1:41:24 >> Yeah.

1:41:25 >> Now you got the bases loaded, Joe.

1:41:29 Nick Lopez

1:41:31 out to Jackie Bradley Jr.

1:41:36 Tagging up from third is Jason Arndt.

1:41:39 And the Tailgaters have now scored in

1:41:41 the first five frames. Joe, can I tell

1:41:43 you a secret?

1:41:44 >> Go ahead.

1:41:45 >> This is the

1:41:47 fastest I've ever seen the Tailgaters

1:41:49 offense look. And somehow somehow to

1:41:53 your credit, your lineup's credit, you

1:41:55 guys had a better offensive weekend last

1:41:56 weekend last Sunday than what we've done

1:41:59 so far. You talk about that offense. I

1:42:01 know it's not clicking today, but how is

1:42:02 it How is it clicked so early for you

1:42:04 guys?

1:42:06 >> Say that Say that last part one more

1:42:08 time.

1:42:08 >> offense. How is it clicked so early for

1:42:09 you guys? I I know it hasn't been today,

1:42:11 but but you

1:42:12 >> It's just uh

1:42:14 you know, we so used to cluttered minds,

1:42:17 man. And that's kind of like the

1:42:18 downfall of being a pro ball. You get

1:42:20 fed so much information. Here and there

1:42:22 is so much information. So, either that

1:42:24 could be a good thing or a bad thing,

1:42:26 you know? So,

1:42:27 um

1:42:28 when it was clicking, it's because we

1:42:30 was out there trusting in our ability,

1:42:32 you know, the ability that we were in

1:42:33 positions before. Um to just go go ball,

1:42:37 you know? But then sometimes that

1:42:39 catches up, which I I fear is kind of

1:42:42 what's happening right now. You know,

1:42:44 guys get to running so much information

1:42:46 or trying to overcompensate because

1:42:49 coming from a place where you is about

1:42:50 win win win win win,

1:42:52 you always trying to figure [music] out

1:42:54 something else to fix,

1:42:56 you know? And we just got to relax. So,

1:42:58 when we're relaxing, we bang. When we're

1:43:02 trying to trying to gravitate [music]

1:43:03 towards where we come from,

1:43:05 it ain't working too well.

1:43:08 >> Ball four sprint.

1:43:09 Sunshine is he going to come home and

1:43:11 [music] score?

1:43:12 You hear Joe Gray hustling in on that.

1:43:15 Oh, Jordan Hussey's going to come home

1:43:16 and score as well.

1:43:18 A two RBI ball four sprint for Jordan

1:43:21 Barr.

1:43:25 >> Oh, man.

1:43:26 >> Let's talk some more positive stuff,

1:43:27 Joe, as you jog back out there and pick

1:43:29 up that cowboy hat. First off, happy

1:43:31 belated birthday. You turned how old a

1:43:33 couple days back?

1:43:34 >> 26, man.

1:43:34 >> 26 years old.

1:43:36 And there's something I really want to

1:43:38 talk to you about.

1:43:40 You, obviously

1:43:41 >> [music]

1:43:42 >> drafted out of high school.

1:43:44 You never went to college, but tell us

1:43:46 what your endeavors and you've embarked

1:43:48 on here recently and will into the fall

1:43:50 semester.

1:43:52 >> Say that one more time.

1:43:53 >> You're you're you're restarting your

1:43:54 academic career.

1:43:55 >> yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I'm in

1:43:56 school right now at LSU

1:43:59 um for uh construction project

1:44:00 management.

1:44:01 Um and you know, like I said

1:44:04 originally when I was going to school

1:44:05 out of high school I was going to do uh

1:44:08 robotics engineering.

1:44:10 You know, I'm a state championship

1:44:12 holder in 2017 Mississippi for robotics

1:44:15 autonomous. So, yeah.

1:44:18 I could do that, build computers and

1:44:19 things, but

1:44:21 now uh my dad been in construction for

1:44:22 45 years.

1:44:23 >> Wow.

1:44:24 >> After he got done with uh farming.

1:44:27 And um

1:44:28 basically it'll be me taking over.

1:44:30 So, I got to, you know,

1:44:32 got to have the

1:44:33 the book smarts.

1:44:36 >> That one touches the heavens.

1:44:38 Fans got another one at them.

1:44:41 Ah, right there in the first row.

1:44:43 Man, I tell you what, your pops 45 years

1:44:46 blue collar worker, huh?

1:44:47 >> Oh, yeah. I mean, uh

1:44:48 >> What do you think of this Banana Ball

1:44:49 deal?

1:44:49 >> Man, he uh

1:44:51 My dad, you know, he's he he he he

1:44:53 enjoys it cuz all he wants to do is see

1:44:55 me be happy, man.

1:44:56 Um

1:44:57 he just kind of saw,

1:44:58 you know, the negative side with

1:44:59 baseball with me and how uh unfortunate

1:45:02 things can can turn.

1:45:04 So, with him, you know, he just want to

1:45:06 see me smile again on the baseball

1:45:07 field.

1:45:09 >> Well, I want to tell you one more thing,

1:45:10 Cowboy Joe, before we send you off. My

1:45:12 dad is a big fan of yours as well and I

1:45:14 know there's a lot of people here in

1:45:15 Banana Land, Banana Ball fans in

1:45:17 general, that's a big fan of yours. We

1:45:19 love you, Cowboy Joe. Thank you for

1:45:20 joining us, brother.

1:45:21 >> I appreciate it.

1:45:22 >> [music]

1:45:26 [cheering]

1:45:29 >> Bet you can.

1:46:29 >> Round Rock, Texas, give it up for your

1:46:32 Texas Tailgaters and YOUR TEXAS

1:46:36 TWO-STEPPERS!

1:46:51 HEY, WE WERE JUST TALKING TO THAT GUY.

1:46:55 COWBOY JOE GRAY JR. is the donut batter

1:46:57 and we were just talking to him.

1:46:59 Bottom of the fifth.

1:47:01 Tailgaters have already done something

1:47:02 in this ball game they've never done

1:47:04 before, which is win the first four

1:47:05 innings. Now,

1:47:08 they're trying to win the first five

1:47:09 innings. They're up three to nothing in

1:47:11 this game.

1:47:16 Joe Gray. Oh, man.

1:47:18 If Rally the Turtle was about 25 ft

1:47:20 taller, he'd have caught that. Ball and

1:47:22 a strike.

1:47:24 I I don't know if you guys can tell in

1:47:26 my voice,

1:47:28 but I am

1:47:30 I I've never seen the Tailgaters play

1:47:32 this way.

1:47:33 This is their what? They played 34 games

1:47:36 last year, two playoff games, 36 games

1:47:38 in 2025.

1:47:40 This is their fifth game of 2026, so the

1:47:42 30-41st game of all time. The 39th

1:47:45 regular season game I've ever seen the

1:47:47 boys in blue and orange play. And this

1:47:49 is by the most dominating effort I've

1:47:51 ever seen through the first half of a

1:47:53 banana ball game that they've been

1:47:54 involved in.

1:47:56 Sky it out to right. Kmart.

1:47:59 Tip drill, bucket.

1:48:03 >> [cheering]

1:48:05 >> Sunny, able to combine that one.

1:48:08 Tailgaters now lead the trick play

1:48:09 battle 5-1.

1:48:17 Thank you,

1:48:19 Boston fan.

1:48:20 Now, I I I was hoping I sounded high.

1:48:23 I just if

1:48:24 I'm I I I'm just so like

1:48:27 surprised in the best way possible. I

1:48:30 mean, these clowns are a great ball

1:48:32 club, man. They're a great ball club.

1:48:34 There's still a lot of banana ball left,

1:48:35 mind you. Like like let let's let's

1:48:37 let's rule that out.

1:48:40 They lead it 4-0, two outs away from

1:48:41 leading it

1:48:43 5-0. Lead it 4-0, 2-5. Lead it 2-5.

1:48:46 But jeez, man, Brett Allen's still out

1:48:48 there on the mound. SPLASH. DEEP LEFT

1:48:50 FIELD. AND THE FIRST HOME RUNNING BANANA

1:48:53 BALL FOR DALE FRANCIS JR.

1:49:07 The young man who played for Mark Crocco

1:49:10 in Erskine a couple of years. Finished

1:49:12 up his collegiate career at

1:49:14 Gardner-Webb.

1:49:16 A LATE-ROUND DRAFT PICK.

1:49:18 gets his first start of his career

1:49:20 today.

1:49:21 IN GOES YAYA FOR HIS FIRST CAREER home

1:49:24 run.

1:49:25 That's a cool moment for that young man

1:49:27 right there.

1:49:35 And he didn't miss a stitch of that

1:49:36 banana ball.

1:49:38 What about the celly? Hold it. Hold it.

1:49:40 Roll it all the way out. Oh, man.

1:49:43 Up uh the back flip there.

1:49:46 As now Eli Peyton Hey, man.

1:49:48 >> [music]

1:49:49 >> Where's Eli Peyton at? There he is.

1:50:02 >> [singing]

1:50:20 >> But Animals defending player of the week

1:50:24 with a fun little walk off alongside

1:50:26 Gage Bohr and he's and Clark Gilmore.

1:50:27 Eli Peyton rolls it over. Sunny between

1:50:30 the legs. Bucket!

1:50:35 For out number two.

1:50:40 Donny Allen full Steve Irwin fit.

1:50:45 He and the Tailgaters now lead the trick

1:50:46 play bottle 6 to 1.

1:50:49 In route

1:50:50 one more out, they'll lead this ball

1:50:52 game 5 to nothing.

1:51:05 Chris Burgess Oh, just foul.

1:51:11 Chris Burgess

1:51:13 has one of the two Clownz hits today.

1:51:15 The other one was that home run we just

1:51:16 seen from Dell Francis Jr. The O2 from

1:51:19 Donny. Oh!

1:51:22 STUNG OUT TO LEFT CENTER. INDY ON HIS

1:51:24 HORSE. INDIANA STANLEY!

1:51:28 WITH A SPREADING, JUMPING GRAB.

1:51:32 AND WHAT?

1:51:34 THE TEXAS TAILGATERS HAVE WON THE FIRST

1:51:37 FIVE INNINGS OF THIS BANANA BALL GAME.

1:51:40 This is incredible.

1:51:42 This is Texas.

1:51:46 >> [cheering]

1:51:48 >> To our hometown heroes of the night, we

1:51:51 thank you for your service and

1:51:53 commitment to our great country.

1:51:57 To our police officers.

1:52:01 To our firefighters.

1:52:05 To our nurses.

1:52:08 To our EMS workers.

1:52:11 To our dispatchers.

1:52:14 And to our school teachers. [screaming]

1:52:19 [cheering]

1:52:19 THE Texas Tailgaters and the Clownz

1:52:23 thank you.

1:52:42 Now batting at number 11, Mac Danford.

1:52:48 >> Mac-A-Doodle.

1:52:50 We got to go quickly here, ladies and

1:52:52 gentlemen. Top of the sixth inning.

1:52:53 Tailgaters leading five to nothing.

1:52:55 That should help out the pace of play.

1:52:57 Bobby LeDay just catches it for out

1:52:59 number one.

1:53:11 >> Taj is batting from the right side. That

1:53:13 was my wish earlier. I wanted to see him

1:53:15 swinging it from that side. It's Daniel

1:53:16 new lefty on the bump here for the

1:53:19 clowns.

1:53:20 Taj, I'm telling you. I'm telling you,

1:53:22 man.

1:53:24 Taj is now very dangerous from both

1:53:26 sides of the plate. Has still yet to be

1:53:28 retired today.

1:53:30 An RBI ball for Spratt and a trio of

1:53:32 singles including an RBI Spratt.

1:53:39 Jose Miguel Cabrera oh check swing.

1:53:42 Appealed down to Reggie. They'll say he

1:53:43 didn't go. One and oh.

1:53:47 BROTHER!

1:53:49 DEEP LEFT [screaming] CENTER! BROTHER!

1:53:54 DID JACKIE catch that? YES, HE DID.

1:53:58 THROWS IT BACK IN. JB'S JUST GOT TO GET

1:54:01 IT TO FIRST.

1:54:05 Eli Bates tried to do a trick play.

1:54:07 That will not be a trick play. JACKIE

1:54:10 BRADLEY JR.

1:54:12 OH MY GOSH IN A MINUTE AND 23 SECOND

1:54:14 INNING.

1:54:15 WOW.

1:54:18 AND QUICKLY, we will turn it over to the

1:54:21 home half.

1:54:27 Again, still going to bring up trick

1:54:30 plays here.

1:54:31 Tailgaters lead the trick play battle 6

1:54:33 to 1. Equalizers play only comes into

1:54:35 play though if we make it to the ninth

1:54:38 inning.

1:54:38 >> Hey Jason.

1:54:41 >> And now it's my good friend, my good

1:54:43 pal. I spent the last week in his home.

1:54:44 Jimmy Lewis.

1:54:45 >> Hey Brett.

1:54:46 >> Hey papa, how are you, man?

1:54:47 >> You

1:54:50 >> the pace of play isn't great right now,

1:54:52 but we're winning five to nothing.

1:54:53 >> Yeah, we're just scoring.

1:54:55 >> That was the first inning we have not

1:54:56 scored in.

1:54:57 >> That's wild.

1:54:58 >> That is incredible. Um how'd you Did you

1:55:00 me being at your house this past week?

1:55:01 >> Uh absolutely loved it, especially being

1:55:03 with you, Brett Lowery.

1:55:04 >> It was great to wake surf.

1:55:06 I I'm not going to wake surf. I'm just

1:55:08 going to be honest with you.

1:55:09 I'm never going to wake surf.

1:55:11 All right, Jimmy. Walk us through this

1:55:13 AB here.

1:55:14 >> Fastball on the middle?

1:55:16 >> Yep.

1:55:17 >> Let's go with a

1:55:18 fastball again, huh?

1:55:22 >> Ball and a strike to Jaylen Braskas.

1:55:28 Keep talking to me, Jimmy.

1:55:30 >> Let's get him with a little curve.

1:55:37 >> Oh, JIMBO, DO THE THING, JIMBO. DO THE

1:55:40 THING, JIMBO.

1:55:44 ALL RIGHT, KEEP IT PUSHING, MAN. WE'RE

1:55:45 RUNNING LOW ON TIME. Here we go.

1:55:47 >> Bobby La Day.

1:55:51 >> THAT'S UP. THAT'S UP.

1:55:53 Tell him to catch it. TELL HIM TO CATCH

1:55:54 IT. JUST CATCH IT.

1:55:57 OH.

1:56:02 >> That's all right.

1:56:03 >> Trick play missed.

1:56:06 All right, trick play missed for

1:56:08 Sunshine. You're good, man. Just roll it

1:56:09 here.

1:56:10 You're only facing a two-time All-Star

1:56:12 and a World Series champion, Jackie

1:56:13 Bradley Jr.

1:56:16 Great pitch, Jimmy.

1:56:17 >> that.

1:56:17 >> And you too.

1:56:20 Start grunting.

1:56:22 Good. Louder, Jimmy.

1:56:26 >> I like that one, too, to be honest.

1:56:30 Caution.

1:56:31 >> Toss thrown down to second.

1:56:34 Not in time.

1:56:36 Three balls, no strikes. All right,

1:56:38 Jimbo, got to get one back in here.

1:56:39 >> Let's get it in there, right here, huh?

1:56:44 >> Wow, even Jackie thought that was a

1:56:46 strike.

1:56:47 >> one, huh?

1:56:47 >> That'll be a walk-off.

1:56:50 Five to one, Jimmy, no big deal.

1:56:52 It's a good inning out of you.

1:56:54 >> That was quick.

1:56:55 >> Yep. Hey, and that'll work, huh? Love

1:56:57 you, Jimbo. Love you.

1:57:01 >> Walk-off RBI ball for a sprint for

1:57:04 Jackie Bradley Jr. And now we will go

1:57:06 down

1:57:08 Oh, a little kung fu action, huh?

1:58:04 >> Round Rock, there is nothing better than

1:58:07 sharing a hot dog with somebody you

1:58:09 love. Down here on the field with me, we

1:58:11 have three couples, and they're going to

1:58:12 take turns eating the hot dog Lady and

1:58:15 the [ __ ] style. But here's the thing,

1:58:18 two of these couples have been together

1:58:19 for a while, but one of these couples

1:58:21 met just hours ago.

1:58:25 That's right, Round Rock. It's your job

1:58:27 to watch them eat and then vote on which

1:58:29 couple you think is actually a pair of

1:58:32 singles. Let's get right to it. Couple

1:58:34 number one, let's watch eat the hot dog.

1:58:38 Okay, a little chemistry there.

1:58:41 Not bad from couple number one.

1:58:44 Couple number two, let's see if you got

1:58:46 it or if you can at least pretend to.

1:58:50 They seem pretty comfy.

1:58:53 From couple number two all right, couple

1:58:55 number three.

1:58:58 Look at that.

1:59:00 Seems like they've been doing it for

1:59:01 quite a while. The Round Rock, we got a

1:59:03 vote. Who do you think is actually a

1:59:07 pair of singles? Couple number one

1:59:12 are our singles couple number two

1:59:17 or are singles couple number three?

1:59:22 There's only one way to find out. Drum

1:59:24 roll, please.

1:59:27 Would the singles please step forward?

1:59:32 Round Rock, it's love at first bite.

1:59:44 >> Jason Earth to lead us off here in the

1:59:46 top of the seventh.

1:59:48 Sixth inning, the first inning in which

1:59:49 the Tailgaters have not scored / one

1:59:52 today.

1:59:53 And the Clowns able to win it with a RBI

1:59:55 ball four sprint from Jackie Bradley Jr.

1:59:57 Eli Peyton now at first.

2:00:00 Eli tip drill, bucket.

2:00:02 Just a second trick play of the

2:00:04 afternoon for the Clowns.

2:00:08 Trick play battle,

2:00:09 six to two. Six to two in favor of the

2:00:12 Tailgaters.

2:00:15 Again, if we make it to the night, which

2:00:17 that sixth inning really put us back on

2:00:19 pace to do so. The Tailgaters are in the

2:00:22 driver's seat right now to win the

2:00:23 equalizer ball.

2:00:25 Indiana Stanley ball and no strikes.

2:00:33 I can't remember the last time Riley

2:00:35 Turner threw six innings.

2:00:38 The Each inning has been won.

2:00:41 That there's been a point awarded at the

2:00:42 end of each inning. You know, you'll see

2:00:44 some innings where you'll push nothing

2:00:45 nothing one one two two. Tailgaters won

2:00:47 the first five, Clowns won the sixth.

2:00:51 Ooh, man. Wow, that's a good pitch from

2:00:53 Brett Mattek, who just entered the

2:00:54 ballgame here for the Indianapolis

2:00:56 Clowns.

2:01:00 And wow.

2:01:04 Maybe a give me back call there.

2:01:07 As Indy quite literally was four steps

2:01:09 from first [music] base.

2:01:13 Now we'll do a full count. Count again.

2:01:23 Indy!

2:01:24 Stung out to center. What say you, JBJ?

2:01:28 Out number two.

2:01:33 And now it's Sunshine.

2:01:36 Hit by a pitch.

2:01:38 And got a hit on the unicycle his last

2:01:40 time up.

2:01:49 >> [cheering]

2:01:50 >> And now Fisher Polidor is coming in to

2:01:54 pitch here.

2:01:57 Man!

2:01:58 Old Knuckles.

2:02:01 Facing off against Sunshine.

2:02:08 There's a knuckleball.

2:02:09 Was a ball.

2:02:12 Fisher induced that fan caught foul ball

2:02:14 last night. Wow, man.

2:02:17 Some good pitches right now that

2:02:19 Sunny is laying off on.

2:02:22 Fisher able to get back in there.

2:02:27 Ooh!

2:02:28 The Texas native, Polidor, payoff pitch

2:02:32 TO SUNNY.

2:02:34 GOT HIM!

2:02:35 BACKWARDS K FROM THE TIME TRAVELER. THE

2:02:38 MAN THEY CALLED OLD KNUCKLES. THE

2:02:40 YOUNGEST PLAYER IN OUR SPORT. MAN!

2:02:48 NOW, let's

2:02:50 first take a look at that knuckleball

2:02:53 that got Sunshine looking.

2:02:56 >> [crying]

2:02:57 >> And as we come out of that, we'll take a

2:02:58 look at what we got going on next week

2:03:00 in here in Banana Ball.

2:03:02 >> [cheering]

2:03:04 >> Tailgaters, Party Animals.

2:03:05 >> That's right, Uncle Phil. I'll be back

2:03:07 with Drake Toll in Sacramento,

2:03:10 California.

2:03:11 Coming at you Friday night at 10:00 p.m.

2:03:13 Eastern, 7:00 p.m. Pacific time. Clowns,

2:03:16 Firefighters. They will play game one on

2:03:19 Saturday in Montgomery 8:00 Eastern

2:03:21 time, 7:00 Central on the Firefighters

2:03:23 YouTube channel. And then Coconuts,

2:03:25 Bananas next Saturday night

2:03:28 from Petco Park in San Diego,

2:03:30 California. The first Major League

2:03:33 stadium for the Loco Beach Coconuts. So

2:03:36 again, game one, Tailgaters, Party

2:03:38 Animals Friday night. The game ones in

2:03:40 the bottom two series, Clowns,

2:03:42 Firefighters, Coconuts, Bananas will be

2:03:44 played on Saturday. That's next week in

2:03:47 Banana Ball.

2:03:48 Currently in Banana Ball,

2:03:50 Broomall, Pennsylvania's finest, Joe

2:03:52 Sparone.

2:03:54 Owned them up here for the Tailgaters.

2:03:57 Joe tonight give up a run

2:03:59 in his last eight outings of 2025. So

2:04:01 far this year, he's got roughed up a

2:04:03 little bit.

2:04:04 But I think this is a perfect

2:04:05 opportunity for Joe

2:04:07 to get his first scoreless outing of the

2:04:09 year.

2:04:15 Joe, this is third appearance. Has

2:04:17 recorded just two outs and four earned

2:04:19 runs. Paul Sizer. Oh, man.

2:04:23 That's his first hit in Banana Ball.

2:04:25 Nico trying to stretch it into a double

2:04:28 and will barely do so.

2:04:33 I think that's exactly do Nico needed.

2:04:39 Slowing

2:04:42 the game down is so hard for these

2:04:43 affiliated guys here at Bananaland. But

2:04:46 once Nico puts it together, it's going

2:04:47 to be going. Gelato out to Kmart. Kmart

2:04:50 has it.

2:04:51 Nico tags up, goes second to third. Now

2:04:54 the Clown's second point of the ball

2:04:56 game stands on third in form of Nico

2:04:59 Holzheiser.

2:05:00 And it's the starting pitcher Karell

2:05:02 Prime coming up to the dish.

2:05:05 So far today Karell over two with a

2:05:06 couple strikeouts.

2:05:11 Infield in.

2:05:17 0 and 1.

2:05:22 There's Jimmy Lewis.

2:05:24 Got to holler at him while he's

2:05:25 pitching. Popped right side. Sunshine

2:05:28 steps on the bag. Hardly ever do you see

2:05:31 four unassisted in the scorebook

2:05:34 when a second baseman steps on the first

2:05:36 base bag, but right there Sunny does it

2:05:37 for out number two.

2:05:42 And now our donut batter yet again.

2:05:48 Joe Gray Jr.

2:05:56 >> [cheering]

2:05:59 >> Ball and a strike on Joe Gray Jr. Cowboy

2:06:01 Joe got to holler at him earlier. He's

2:06:03 flown out to right both times today.

2:06:10 Such a special personality. Guy who

2:06:12 celebrated his birthday this week. Told

2:06:14 you he's from Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

2:06:18 Wonderful personality to be around.

2:06:21 You know, you see he's in a lot of these

2:06:23 entertainment moments here for the

2:06:24 Clowns. It's for a reason.

2:06:26 Vibrant personality and a big time bat.

2:06:28 2-2 from Joe Sperone all the way to him.

2:06:32 Popped out right yet again. Kyle

2:06:33 Martin's got a beat on it.

2:06:36 And the first scoreless inning from both

2:06:38 sides today

2:06:40 is here in the seventh.

2:06:42 As the Tailgaters lead it 5 to 1.

2:06:45 Rolling on to the next to last frame.

2:06:49 Can they get their second ever sweep in

2:06:51 Tailgaters history? We're going to find

2:06:53 out.

2:06:55 >> [cheering]

2:07:17 >> Here we go.

2:07:46 >> [cheering]

2:07:47 >> Here we go.

2:07:59 >> CLARKIE-O BABY-O, Clark Gilmore.

2:08:02 Graduate of Notre Dame, also pitched at

2:08:04 Dartmouth. He's a high IQ guy, one of

2:08:06 the smartest puppies I know.

2:08:08 Heavily entertaining as well. Hey Clark.

2:08:11 New pitcher in the ball game here for

2:08:12 the Clowns.

2:08:14 Went mega viral

2:08:15 >> [music]

2:08:15 >> in spring training. He had that trick

2:08:17 pitch against Jackson Olson.

2:08:21 He'll start Jordan Hussey 0 and 1.

2:08:24 Clark a little bit of a rougher start to

2:08:25 his banana ball pitching career.

2:08:27 >> This is his third appearance. ERA above

2:08:29 10 thus far, but hey.

2:08:32 This is third appearance in the sport.

2:08:34 Opportunity to lower that ERA right

2:08:35 here.

2:08:39 As the trick pitch goes behind Jordan

2:08:41 Hussey. I don't think Five Arrows too

2:08:43 amused at first, but

2:08:45 comes up with a smile.

2:08:46 Between the legs. Did that get Jordan?

2:08:50 Yeah, it did.

2:08:52 Jordan Hussey tosses the bat and will

2:08:53 trot on down the first. Tell you what,

2:08:56 he's got to be a showman candidate

2:08:57 today. RBI ball for sprint, RBI triple

2:09:00 after walk up, single and now hit by

2:09:02 pitch.

2:09:04 That's my captain.

2:09:06 Owen one to Lopi.

2:09:13 Every single Texas Tailgater has reached

2:09:16 today.

2:09:18 All 10 up.

2:09:23 Ball and two strikes now to Nick Lopi.

2:09:27 Trick pitch, SWATTED THE OTHER WAY.

2:09:31 LOPI GOING TO DO LOPI THINGS, MAN.

2:09:34 He just hits banana balls and does it

2:09:36 quite a lot. That's his first hit today.

2:09:40 >> [cheering]

2:09:40 >> He'd reached via hit by pitch and a sac

2:09:41 fly early.

2:09:43 Wow.

2:09:46 First and second not out.

2:09:48 You know, this dude hasn't been retired

2:09:49 yet either today.

2:09:51 Jordan Barnes, couple of hits, ball for

2:09:52 sprint, hit by pitch. Would love to see

2:09:54 his first banana ball home run.

2:09:57 He's looking for it.

2:09:59 That's going to hit off the roof and

2:10:00 ricochet back down.

2:10:02 Good job, Justin, tracking that. Good

2:10:04 job.

2:10:06 Jordan, out to left.

2:10:09 Over the head of Joe Gray Jr.

2:10:11 HERE COMES HUSSEY. HERE COMES LOPI.

2:10:15 HIT A TWO-RUN DOUBLE.

2:10:20 From JB.

2:10:33 Those were runs 14 and 15 that the Texas

2:10:36 Tailgaters have scored today.

2:10:39 Wow.

2:10:40 That's That's incredible.

2:10:43 I know we're not playing a baseball

2:10:44 game, we're playing a banana ball game.

2:10:45 So, the scoreboard reads five to one,

2:10:47 but 15 runs with only three clowns runs.

2:10:52 Well, it says on the scoreboard is a

2:10:53 four-point difference and hey, that's

2:10:55 why we love our sport of banana ball.

2:10:57 Trick pitch there on 0-2.

2:11:00 Bounced about 54 ft.

2:11:04 Ball and two strikes, still no out here

2:11:06 in the top of the eighth.

2:11:09 Now it is.

2:11:10 Called strike three. That's a pro hitter

2:11:12 there [music] at Kmart.

2:11:14 He's having a

2:11:15 very civil but uh conversation with

2:11:17 Kelly dying after that one.

2:11:26 You see the way Chris Burgess stood

2:11:28 back? I I I don't think Chris thought it

2:11:29 was a strike either.

2:11:31 That was one that

2:11:33 surprised everyone. Nonetheless, out

2:11:34 number one.

2:11:36 Mac and Doodle

2:11:38 swung on and that's not a throw down to

2:11:40 third. Jordan Barth

2:11:43 steals a base.

2:11:45 Mac backed off the plate, ball and two.

2:11:47 Clark working with some unreal pace.

2:11:49 Infield now coming in

2:11:50 with Barth at third.

2:11:56 Really trying to pick up the pace. You

2:11:58 see the clock, not a whole lot to worry

2:11:59 about.

2:12:01 Mac floats it out to center. Jackie got

2:12:03 to get on his horse, won't be able to

2:12:04 get there. Another RBI single for Joe

2:12:07 Bob.

2:12:09 Third run of the inning comes on the

2:12:10 score for the Tailgaters.

2:12:12 You talk about an offensive explosion,

2:12:14 man.

2:12:15 This is the fifth time through the

2:12:16 order.

2:12:17 And again, another guy has not been

2:12:19 retired yet. Taj Porter.

2:12:21 >> [music]

2:12:22 >> The biggest, the largest.

2:12:29 Set that foul off the plate. Ball and a

2:12:31 strike.

2:12:31 >> [music]

2:12:35 >> I can't get over this offense of the

2:12:36 Texas Tailgaters, man.

2:12:38 They must ate their Wheaties this

2:12:39 morning.

2:12:48 Daniel Foster, Brett Madlock, the only

2:12:50 two clowns pitchers not give up a run

2:12:52 and Taj finally, in his fifth plate

2:12:54 appearances, retired. What a ballgame

2:12:57 it's been for him.

2:12:58 As Clark will get him and set him down

2:13:00 for out number two.

2:13:04 Now Jose Gonzalez

2:13:07 brother, hit a two-run home run, his

2:13:08 second of the year,

2:13:11 which would now, in theory,

2:13:13 tie him in top of the Bananas Ball

2:13:15 Championship League

2:13:17 lead with home runs.

2:13:19 Kyle Jackson and Eli Payton entering

2:13:21 today were the only other two Bananas

2:13:23 Ballers

2:13:24 with two home runs on the year.

2:13:27 Brother!

2:13:28 OUT TO RIGHT CENTER!

2:13:30 ONE HOPS THE FENCE.

2:13:34 They wave at home Mac and Doodle.

2:13:36 Throw in from the outfield and well, Mac

2:13:38 was beat by a mile.

2:13:41 And now Mac goes out of the baseline and

2:13:43 that will officially be out number

2:13:44 three.

2:13:46 Brother, though, that double, and if he

2:13:48 gets another opportunity, is a triple

2:13:50 away from the cycle.

2:13:53 Three runs there in the top half.

2:13:54 Tailgaters lead it five to one, trying

2:13:56 to win their sixth and seventh

2:13:59 points of the ballgame in the home half.

2:14:40 >> [music and singing]

2:14:51 [singing and music]

2:14:53 >> Let me hear you all.

2:15:17 >> [music]

2:15:29 >> We love you so much Round Rock. Now

2:15:32 let's Gator up.

2:15:44 Hey, it's the brand new Lefty here for

2:15:47 the Texas Tailgaters who's going to try

2:15:50 to come in

2:15:52 and throw his first full inning in

2:15:54 Bananaland. His name Matthew Fletcher.

2:15:57 Played at LaSalle College Division 3

2:15:59 guy. Came in yesterday recorded his

2:16:01 first out in Bananaland. Reason we say

2:16:03 that he got walked off in his first

2:16:04 appearance last Sunday against Loco

2:16:06 Beach and again last night came in

2:16:09 and got out of an inning

2:16:11 after Brett Sanchez went two and

2:16:13 two-thirds. Got the only out there in

2:16:14 that inning. Only threw about what?

2:16:16 >> Well, how many pitches did he throw

2:16:17 yesterday, Riley?

2:16:18 >> Three. Four.

2:16:19 >> Four. He only threw four pitches

2:16:20 yesterday.

2:16:21 >> No, he did throw three.

2:16:21 >> That's what I thought, Riley.

2:16:23 >> Over here confusing him.

2:16:26 >> Going to have to throw maybe a few more

2:16:27 than that. Dells Francis Jr. who went

2:16:28 ya-ya first career banana ball home run

2:16:30 his last time up.

2:16:32 Tailgaters lead the trick play 6 to 2.

2:16:34 Lead the

2:16:35 >> ballgame 5 to 1.

2:16:36 >> Opportunity.

2:16:39 Obviously, if they can win the eighth

2:16:41 advance to the ninth

2:16:43 to lead this ballgame 7 to 1.

2:16:47 Now, if you're thinking at home, Brett,

2:16:49 they've already won the trick play

2:16:50 battle as far as it means going to the

2:16:52 ninth. Yes, they have. However, new rule

2:16:54 for the equalizer point. If you don't

2:16:56 make it to the ninth, then the equalizer

2:16:57 point is not in play. So, we have 11 and

2:17:00 a half [music] minutes remaining in this

2:17:01 ballgame.

2:17:02 And obviously, more than likely, we will

2:17:04 definitely make it to the ninth. But, we

2:17:06 have to make it to the ninth for the

2:17:08 equalizer to come in play. As

2:17:10 we're one out closer. Matthew Fletcher,

2:17:13 first strikeout in banana ball.

2:17:29 Eli Peyton.

2:17:38 The 1-0 to him.

2:17:40 Hit on the hands. Sunshine got to charge

2:17:42 it. Goes between THE LEGS. DIDN'T EVEN

2:17:44 NEED TO.

2:17:46 SUNNY, TRICK PLAY. BUCKET.

2:17:57 Matthew Fletcher.

2:18:00 With that guy playing behind him,

2:18:01 Jonathan Sunshine Luter.

2:18:05 Trying to give the Tailgaters their

2:18:06 sixth and seventh point of the ball game

2:18:09 by winning the eighth inning

2:18:11 and then winning the equalizer point.

2:18:19 Taj takes another one.

2:18:20 >> [music]

2:18:21 >> Look like that one got fouled off his

2:18:22 arm. Taj has been taking a beating back

2:18:24 there today.

2:18:29 much

2:18:32 Oh, man.

2:18:33 If it's fair, it's gone.

2:18:35 >> [music]

2:18:36 >> But it's just foul.

2:18:38 That's a long strike there for Mr.

2:18:41 Burgess.

2:18:43 Look at that baby ball.

2:18:45 >> [music]

2:18:46 >> The one-two.

2:18:49 Oh, man. Stung down the third baseline.

2:18:52 Deep into the corner, Jason's trying to

2:18:53 find it.

2:18:55 Chris Burgess puts it on cruise control.

2:18:58 It will just get into second.

2:19:01 Two out double.

2:19:03 Chris, back-to-back games, back-to-back

2:19:05 multi-hit games for Chris Burgess.

2:19:09 Now, Kirkland Banks is going to come in

2:19:10 to run. Jaylen Vasquez at the dish.

2:19:26 I'm going to be honest.

2:19:28 That was about as middle middle as I've

2:19:29 seen any pitch today.

2:19:32 1-0

2:19:33 >> [music]

2:19:36 >> Okay. Ball and a strike.

2:19:50 Lot of folks here bearing the heat in

2:19:52 Round Rock.

2:19:54 Including that man, Lake Travis

2:19:56 graduate, about an hour down the road

2:19:58 here.

2:19:59 Jimmy Lewis

2:20:01 KB thought about taking off. Oh, man.

2:20:04 I hope Jaylon's okay.

2:20:06 Fouled that one off of his ankle.

2:20:09 It appears.

2:20:13 And that never feels good, ever.

2:20:23 Still working out that one. [music]

2:20:25 Jaylon 0 for 2 today.

2:20:29 Doesn't matter how many times you do

2:20:30 that, it's never going to feel good,

2:20:31 either.

2:20:34 Two balls, two strikes, two outs, number

2:20:36 two at the dish.

2:20:39 Fouls it off the roof, back into the

2:20:41 crowd.

2:20:49 2-2 tango once more from Fletch.

2:20:52 Hair off right there.

2:20:55 Full count, man.

2:21:01 KB taking off, why not?

2:21:04 Fast gets floats it out to the left.

2:21:06 Jason Art

2:21:08 will have it for out number three, and

2:21:10 the Texas Tailgaters win the inning to

2:21:12 make it 6-1. [music] They've also won

2:21:14 the equalizer point, which makes it 7 to

2:21:16 1.

2:21:18 This is domination from the boys in red,

2:21:21 white, and blue.

2:21:25 >> We see that the Texas Tailgaters

2:21:27 currently lead 6 to 1, but here's the

2:21:29 thing. Heading into the ninth inning,

2:21:32 the Texas Tailgaters have more trick

2:21:34 plays as the visiting team, which means

2:21:37 they will also be awarded tonight's

2:21:39 equalizer point.

2:21:43 Round Rock, that means heading into the

2:21:45 ninth inning, the score is 7 points to

2:21:48 1. But here's the thing, the

2:21:50 Indianapolis Clowns are as dangerous as

2:21:52 ever because here in the ninth inning

2:21:54 every run scored will count for a point.

2:21:58 But your Texas Tailgaters need just

2:22:02 three outs to win the game. LADIES AND

2:22:05 GENTLEMEN, WELCOME TO THE FINAL INNING.

2:22:10 >> [cheering]

2:22:27 >> THE equalizer point.

2:22:29 Just put the Texas Tailgaters up seven

2:22:32 to one.

2:22:34 As they leave the trick play battle

2:22:36 heading into the night seven to two.

2:22:40 This is incredible.

2:22:41 Domination in all facets of the game of

2:22:44 an animal.

2:22:45 >> [cheering]

2:22:46 >> Jermaine now pitching for the Clowns.

2:22:50 I can't get over this. I mean I

2:22:51 seriously can't. This is the the single

2:22:53 most dominating performance the Texas

2:22:55 Tailgaters has ever had. I want to say

2:22:57 this for our fans. I want to say this

2:22:58 for our production [music] room. I want

2:23:00 to say this for everybody listening. I'm

2:23:01 so serious. Keegan Woods locked in in

2:23:03 the director's chair. I know we have to

2:23:04 choose a showman.

2:23:06 Everybody that's touched that field

2:23:07 today for the Tailgaters should be the

2:23:09 showman. I know we can't do that. But

2:23:11 I'm just saying. This has been

2:23:12 incredible. Still got to get through

2:23:13 this inning and got to get three more

2:23:15 outs. But seven to one scoring of an

2:23:17 animal game

2:23:18 is is is very very very far apart. Jason

2:23:21 Arndt out to Nico Holscher.

2:23:24 Out number one.

2:23:32 Jermaine trying to get himself a

2:23:33 scoreless out.

2:23:35 >> [music]

2:23:36 >> You got a guy that throws 98 miles an

2:23:39 hour.

2:23:40 He's had a bit of a rough start to the

2:23:41 year.

2:23:42 He's going to face Indiana State.

2:23:52 >> INDIANA STANLEY

2:23:58 JACKIE BRADLEY JR.

2:24:00 NUMBER TWO.

2:24:01 The wind, that's been a story line for

2:24:03 us today, the wind.

2:24:05 It blew that one back in.

2:24:07 Indy also thought it was going.

2:24:09 And instead didn't even make it to the

2:24:10 warning track. That should tell you

2:24:11 everything you need to know.

2:24:16 And now Jonathan Sanchez Loaders

2:24:19 had a single on the Unesack.

2:24:21 Was hit by a pitch earlier as well.

2:24:23 And now

2:24:25 another cloud scraper

2:24:27 out to Nico Hulsey, who has it for out

2:24:29 number three. Three up and three DOWN IN

2:24:31 44 SECONDS.

2:24:34 THAT TIES

2:24:36 THE FASTEST INNING

2:24:39 of all time.

2:24:46 Uh

2:24:47 well, unofficially.

2:24:49 We'll go back at half the time, but for

2:24:51 right now

2:24:56 we'll go back and see it officially.

2:24:58 Just for Josh Salevsky.

2:25:00 Nonetheless, very quick inning for Drew

2:25:02 Harvey.

2:25:06 >> [cheering]

2:25:20 >> Reece Miller

2:25:22 not a save opportunity

2:25:25 but an opportunity nonetheless from the

2:25:26 man from Houston, Texas.

2:25:29 He's making his third appearance in his

2:25:30 Banana Ball career.

2:25:32 Gave up a run last Saturday night to the

2:25:34 CocoNuts. Last night came in and shut

2:25:36 the door three up and three down to

2:25:38 record his first save in this sport.

2:25:40 This is

2:25:41 And obviously with a 7-1 lead here,

2:25:44 every run counts as a point.

2:25:46 But,

2:25:48 it'd have to be a big rally from these

2:25:50 clowns to come back. Not saying they're

2:25:52 not capable of that, especially top of

2:25:54 the lineup Louie.

2:25:59 Hope you guys are enjoying this ball

2:26:01 game as much as I am.

2:26:04 Domination

2:26:06 from the Texas Tailgaters.

2:26:09 Louie conceded one inning today. That

2:26:12 was back in the sixth. The lone walk-off

2:26:14 that we've had was an RBI ball four

2:26:17 sprint from [music] Jackie Bradley Jr.

2:26:19 It's been the only point of the day for

2:26:20 the clowns.

2:26:23 And now it's Reese McGuire.

2:26:26 Again, what's at stake here? The Texas

2:26:29 Tailgaters

2:26:30 have an opportunity to get their second

2:26:33 ever sweep

2:26:35 in their young history.

2:26:37 They swept the Party Animals last year

2:26:39 in Baton Rouge

2:26:41 back in August of 2025. Now,

2:26:45 in their second two-game series of 2026,

2:26:49 trying to get over .500.

2:26:53 >> [music]

2:26:53 >> And trying to get their second ever

2:26:54 sweep.

2:26:58 Bobby Leday rolls it over. JB behind the

2:27:00 back.

2:27:01 Bucket for out number one.

2:27:04 >> [cheering]

2:27:07 >> What else is at stake, you may ask?

2:27:10 The Texas Tailgaters, in the entirety of

2:27:12 their existence, have never been over

2:27:14 .500.

2:27:16 They lost their season opener last year.

2:27:18 Made it back to one and one, got swept

2:27:20 in Reno. This year, they lost their

2:27:22 season opener at FSU.

2:27:24 Have gotten back to .500, but never over

2:27:26 .500.

2:27:27 Jackie Bradley Jr. 1-0.

2:27:30 This could be the turn of a new era.

2:27:32 Domination to put you over .500 for the

2:27:34 first time in your existence.

2:27:36 Jackie fouls it off a ball and a strike.

2:27:39 This is why we had the Banana Ball

2:27:41 Draft.

2:27:42 This is why we've had the talent that

2:27:43 Barry Aldridge and Tyler Gillum and Adam

2:27:45 Virant and all these great coaches have

2:27:47 brought into our sport.

2:27:49 To equal the playing field.

2:27:51 And to bring the Texas Tailgaters

2:27:54 improvement from 2025.

2:27:59 Two and one.

2:28:00 Three and one. [music]

2:28:04 Jackie Bradley Jr. who we mentioned the

2:28:05 lone walk-off today. He's had a couple

2:28:07 of ball four sprints and one more pitch

2:28:09 away from getting another one.

2:28:11 Swatted right side, his first hit of the

2:28:13 ballgame.

2:28:16 Jackie just continuing to do Jackie

2:28:18 Bradley Jr. things.

2:28:20 Reached base in three of his four plate

2:28:21 appearances today.

2:28:30 Niko Holsclaw, who got his first hit in

2:28:32 this sport last time up. It was a double

2:28:34 down left field line.

2:28:36 We talk about that talent. He's one of

2:28:38 many guys you love to watch. There's the

2:28:40 dirty dirty slider from Reese Miller.

2:28:50 Niko

2:28:51 ball and two.

2:28:56 >> [screaming]

2:29:01 >> Round Rock is Round Rock is buzzing.

2:29:03 Despite it being a seven to one

2:29:05 ballgame.

2:29:08 Out to center. Indy, behind the back!

2:29:12 Buckets!

2:29:13 LOOK AT THAT EIGHT BACK FROM INDIANA

2:29:16 STANLEY IN THE NINTH TRICK PLAY OF THIS

2:29:19 BALLGAME.

2:29:21 Brings us to just one more out.

2:29:26 JOE LIDLE

2:29:28 >> [cheering]

2:29:29 >> AGAINST REESE MILLER.

2:29:32 And the folks here in Round Rock are on

2:29:34 their feet.

2:29:36 Wow.

2:29:37 Wow.

2:29:38 Wow.

2:29:42 One ball, no strikes.

2:29:50 Reece Miller

2:29:52 attacks this guy.

2:29:54 A Houston, Texas native.

2:29:59 Behind two and one.

2:30:01 The man from Oklahoma.

2:30:09 Jackie, go ahead and start to [music]

2:30:10 jogging.

2:30:11 Going to run it to three and one.

2:30:13 Calling out a stolen base rather

2:30:14 defensive indifference. Stolen base for

2:30:16 JD Jet.

2:30:17 >> [music]

2:30:21 >> The three-one.

2:30:23 The ball four, sprint.

2:30:25 The RBI ball four, sprint for Joe Lino.

2:30:30 Nonetheless,

2:30:32 brings the clowns at least within five,

2:30:34 7-2.

2:30:38 Could they stage a comeback?

2:30:41 Well thrown.

2:30:43 O for three today.

2:30:46 >> [music]

2:30:47 >> Starting pitcher gave up four runs in

2:30:49 the first.

2:30:51 Can he keep it moving here in the bottom

2:30:52 of the ninth?

2:30:58 Reece Miller Pioneer League to Bananas.

2:31:05 Oh and two.

2:31:07 The Texas Tailgaters

2:31:09 trying to get their second ever sweep in

2:31:11 their existence. Trying to get to over

2:31:13 500 AND A WINNING RECORD for the first

2:31:16 time ever in Tailgaters history.

2:31:26 Mhm.

2:31:27 One and two.

2:31:29 Number 22 22 with a one two count trying

2:31:32 to get him at three and two.

2:31:34 That gets away.

2:31:36 Tires will chase it down.

2:31:40 As Joe Lidle advances up 90 ft.

2:31:47 Two balls.

2:31:48 Two strikes.

2:31:50 Two outs.

2:31:52 Number 22.

2:31:54 Reese McGuire

2:32:02 Popped in the air.

2:32:03 Can a fan end it?

2:32:07 Oh.

2:32:10 So close.

2:32:13 Come on, Reese.

2:32:15 Get these boys to a winning record for

2:32:17 the first ever time in our home state.

2:32:20 You do do.

2:32:22 Oh, Guerrilla Pride.

2:32:25 This is Pro AB.

2:32:27 For a long time, bro.

2:32:31 >> [cheering]

2:32:33 >> The folks here

2:32:35 Long AB, they're restless for a

2:32:37 Tailgater style.

2:32:39 Got [screaming] him!

2:32:41 And for the first time ever, the Texas

2:32:44 Tailgaters have a winning record.

2:32:49 And they get their first sweep since

2:32:51 Baton Rouge last year.

2:32:54 This is a different team.

2:32:59 And now it's time for the Tailgaters to

2:33:01 dance a little here in Texas. [cheering]

2:33:22 >> [music]

2:33:33 [music]

2:33:58 >> [screaming]

2:34:02 [cheering]

2:34:02 >> Round Rock, thank you guys so much for a

2:34:06 rocking weekend. Why don't you guys give

2:34:08 it up one more time for the Indianapolis

2:34:11 Clowns?

2:34:13 >> [cheering]

2:34:14 >> A historic franchise with an incredible

2:34:16 performance. And why don't y'all give

2:34:18 yourselves some love? Round Rock, give

2:34:20 it up for you guys, our incredible fans!

2:34:25 We love you guys so much. Couldn't do

2:34:27 what we do without you. And this pregame

2:34:29 is far from over. If you head out to the

2:34:32 plaza, you'll see players, cast, get

2:34:34 your pictures, get some autographs, and

2:34:36 listen to Jason and the Tailgater band.

2:34:39 We've loved rocking with you guys. Thank

2:34:41 you so much, Round Rock.

2:34:44 >> I believe

2:34:46 it's half full now.

2:34:48 Half empty glass.

2:34:51 Every

2:34:53 day I wake up

2:34:54 knowing

2:34:55 it could

2:34:56 be my last. I'm here for a long

2:34:59 time.

2:35:01 I'm here for a

2:35:02 good time.

2:35:05 So, bring on the sunshine. The hell with

2:35:07 the

2:35:08 red wine. Pour me some

2:35:10 sunshine.

2:35:14 And when I'm gone, put it in stone.

2:35:18 Yeah, let nothing be

2:37:03 >> Jordan Hussein, showman of the game. Uh

2:37:07 I don't know if you know this or not.

2:37:09 You've never won showman before. How

2:37:11 special is this? I'm going to I'm going

2:37:12 to shoot some stats at you and then

2:37:13 we'll obviously hear from you. This was

2:37:15 the second ever sweep in the history of

2:37:16 the Tailgaters. Last year we did it on

2:37:18 your back in Baton Rouge, trick play and

2:37:19 shut out. This is the first time in our

2:37:21 existence we've ever been over .500,

2:37:24 three and two. Didn't happen last year,

2:37:26 first ever time this year because of you

2:37:27 today. Signature walk-off RBI triple,

2:37:30 walk us through this ball game for you.

2:37:32 >> Uh we played decent ball last night and

2:37:34 uh I told the boys before we left the

2:37:35 locker room these guys are really

2:37:37 talented over there and being the away

2:37:38 team we're really going to have to show

2:37:39 up and play and I think the guys hustled

2:37:41 their butts off and we we played some

2:37:43 good defense, pitched pitched pretty

2:37:44 well too, so.

2:37:45 >> We pitched really well today. A- And you

2:37:47 look at that Donnie, what are we doing?

2:37:50 Donnie's over here with the shot.

2:37:52 Trick plays, nine to two today. That's

2:37:54 something that you champion as the

2:37:56 captain and obviously the defensive

2:37:58 captain of this team. Walk us through

2:38:00 what you've been pitching these guys and

2:38:01 able to win that trick play battle.

2:38:03 >> Uh I know for me early on in my career

2:38:05 guys were just telling me to rip them,

2:38:06 rip them, rip them.

2:38:07 Uh so when I got here with the talent

2:38:09 that we have, all I do every day is tell

2:38:11 these dudes to rip them and their talent

2:38:12 takes over. So these guys are really

2:38:13 talented.

2:38:14 >> We call you the Texas kid all the time

2:38:15 Jordan. Now that this team is a winning

2:38:19 team, long way to go five games in

2:38:21 obviously to the Banana Ball

2:38:22 Championship League, but a winning

2:38:23 record. I know it means a lot for you to

2:38:25 wear this jersey and to represent the

2:38:26 state of Texas, but now to put on a

2:38:28 winning product and a great show for

2:38:29 these fans, what does that all encompass

2:38:31 and mean to you?

2:38:32 >> It's a dream come true. Uh obviously I

2:38:34 love Texas with all my heart. It's all

2:38:36 over my body, it's all over everything I

2:38:37 do. Um so just to come out here and win

2:38:40 in front of a bunch of Texans means the

2:38:41 freaking world to me.

2:38:42 >> All right Jordan, here we go.

2:38:44 Fiver, our captain, the Texas kid. First

2:38:47 ever Showman of the Ball Game. Hey, go

2:38:49 celebrate with those fans outside man.

2:38:51 This is a special weekend. Uh to go over

2:38:53 .500 for the first ever time is special.

2:38:56 To put a winning product on for these

2:38:57 people here in the great state of Texas.

2:38:59 For Jordan Houssain who's our captain

2:39:01 both verbally and in between those lines

2:39:03 to get awarded as his first ever Showman

2:39:05 is special.

2:39:06 But to do what they did today, 7-2,

2:39:10 this is a brand new brand. It's the same

2:39:11 brand we had last year, it's a brand new

2:39:13 team. It's a brand new product. The

2:39:15 Tailgaters are coming to win. They're

2:39:16 not only coming up to show to to to to

2:39:18 tailgate with you and to put on a good

2:39:20 show.

2:39:21 They're showing up to eat your hot dog

2:39:23 and take your lunch money from you.

2:39:24 That's what they're coming to do this

2:39:25 year. And we're going to do it all 2026.

2:39:28 We'll see you next weekend in

2:39:29 Sacramento. And until then, Gator up.

2:41:55 >> Mhm.
