6:27 >> Supporting Animals of the Texas

6:28 Tailgaters HAVE COMBINED TO BREAK THE

6:31 record for trick plays in a single

6:33 ballgame. 32 tonight in Sacramento.

6:38 WELCOME TO THE BANANA BALL CHAMPIONSHIP

6:40 LEAGUE.

6:40 FISHER IN THE SHIRT.

6:43 THE TEXAS TAILGATER. RACK IT. Up the

6:45 trick plays.

6:46 And there's a triple TRICK PLAY.

6:48 >> SKOL POPS it up to himself. The trick

6:50 play.

6:50 >> Faber, bouncer, one trick play.

6:53 TRICK PLAY.

6:55 BEHIND THE BACK.

6:56 FABER.

6:57 Easy trick play.

6:58 >> Swan behind the back. And the third

7:01 trick play.

7:01 >> Faber, yes, he's got that one.

7:03 >> Jonathan's up side looters.

7:05 >> Double trick play.

7:07 >> Loomer at third base. Here's trick play

7:08 opportunity. Loomer's got one.

7:11 >> Delano trick play. Between the legs. How

7:13 many times do we get to say the words

7:15 trick and play back-to-back tonight?

7:18 >> Sunshine looters catch that one.

7:21 >> Bucket.

7:22 And it's nine up again in the trick play

7:24 battle.

7:24 >> Faber, talk to the people.

7:26 >> Jake Skol pops it up to his Hampton

7:28 count.

7:29 Right over between the legs. Cuts down

7:31 Jason Art.

7:32 Swanny, Swan.

7:34 Trick play, yes.

7:36 >> And Jordan Barr goes behind the back for

7:37 a trick play.

7:38 >> Fisher

7:39 >> Bucket.

7:40 >> And Skol with a trick play.

7:41 >> Yes, he does.

7:42 >> Steps to favor behind the back. It

7:44 started and goes behind the back. That's

7:46 the trick play. He mans the hot corner

7:48 so well and he's incredibly smooth.

7:51 What's Swaney over there at first? See

7:53 that little Sally? Trick play. That's

7:55 number 30 combined of the night. MARTIN

7:57 CAME OUT BEHIND THE BACK TO BLOW MARTIN.

8:00 BLOW BETWEEN THE LEGS. WE GO TO THE

8:02 BOTTOM OF THE NINTH AND THAT'S THE

8:03 RECORD. 32 TONIGHT IN SACRAMENTO.

8:11 WHEN THE BALL LEAVES MY HAND.

8:13 Just to finish that note, it's the best

8:15 friends of Garrett and Alano Jordan Barr

8:16 facing off one more time.

8:19 The equalizer point will not happen

8:21 if we don't make it to nine innings.

8:23 Brand new part of that rule.

8:27 Bloomer at third base. Here's trick play

8:29 opportunity. BLOOMER'S GOT ONE. WHAT A

8:31 THROW ACROSS THE DIAMOND.

8:35 HE MANS THE HOT corner so well and he is

8:37 incredibly smooth. What's Swaney over

8:39 there at first? See that little Sally?

8:42 He had the splits over there to make

8:43 that play. I mean Bloomer smooth as

8:45 silk, right? But then look AT THIS.

8:47 SWANEY.

8:47 WOW.

8:49 IF SWAN HAD HIS toes severed off,

8:53 that's not an out.

8:55 I mean, yeah.

8:57 Sure.

8:58 Kyle Martin to the plate. Martin to

9:00 Delano. Delano trick play between the

9:02 legs. That does count AS A TRICK PLAY.

9:06 AND BRETT, WHAT IS MACK DANFORD DOING?

9:17 He collects it and throws it on the

9:18 unassisted play. Right. Like what we see

9:20 with Sunshine, the ball has to leave THE

9:21 HAND.

9:23 UH-OH, MACK DANFORD, PLEASE.

9:27 FOR HOW MANY TIMES DO WE GET to say the

9:30 words trick and play back-to-back

9:32 tonight? We just said it

9:34 back-to-back-to-back in that inning.

9:36 Three up, three down, all three trick

9:38 plays, Drake-io. Party Animals can tie

9:40 it in the bottom of the fourth.

9:41 >> And nowadays, you take 15 seconds to

9:43 reapply sunscreen on the beach and

9:45 everything goes missing. I can't find my

9:47 dang jacket. I don't know where it went.

9:50 I've got to get on the air in 15

9:52 minutes. Real problem. Real problem. God

9:55 dang it.

9:56 >> I'm pretty sure it is a baseball field.

9:58 >> new baseball field.

9:59 >> I've never seen anything like that.

10:01 >> HEY, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH.

10:02 >> HEY.

10:02 >> WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.

10:04 >> NO, NO, NO.

10:05 >> IT'S MY BOX.

10:05 >> HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY,

10:06 HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY,

10:06 HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY,

10:06 HEY.

10:07 >> LET'S JUST look inside.

10:08 >> Okay, okay, okay.

10:09 >> All right, let's see what we got in

10:10 here.

10:10 >> All right, hold on. What

10:11 That's what

10:12 >> Hey, I think that's what I think that's

10:13 my

10:14 >> I've been looking for this. All right.

10:16 >> Is it whose

10:17 Is this one of your box?

10:18 >> Whose box is this?

10:19 >> OH MY GOD.

10:20 >> OH.

10:22 >> YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

10:24 >> YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS?

10:24 >> I'M I'M GOING TO

10:25 >> PUT IT ON.

10:26 >> I'M GOING TO THE BALL TONIGHT.

10:27 >> OH, YEAH.

10:28 >> WE GOING TO THE

10:28 >> GOING TO THE PROM TONIGHT, PARTY.

10:30 >> OH, YEAH, LET'S GO.

10:35 >> WELL, THE PARTY Animals are here to take

10:37 on the Loco Beach Coconuts in Conway,

10:40 South Carolina. And it wouldn't be a

10:41 Party Animals show if the Party Crashers

10:43 weren't causing mayhem all across the

10:45 stadium. Loco Beach picked up a big-time

10:48 win yesterday that now pulls them within

10:50 one game of the Party Animals. And boy,

10:53 oh boy, if last night was any

10:55 indication, we are in for a treat from

10:57 the beach. I'm A.J. Swatsky, joined by

10:59 Drake Toll. Drake, last night, start to

11:02 finish, it felt like it was the Coconuts

11:04 game to win.

11:05 >> Yeah, the Party Animals got dominated by

11:06 the Loco Beach Coconuts. Mark Krako and

11:08 company were lights out and and even

11:10 when the Animals did score early on, it

11:11 was too bad cuz the Coconuts had already

11:12 put up a five-spot in the third. They

11:14 just continued to pile on the runs,

11:16 double-digit runs last night for the

11:18 boys in teal. Incredibly impressed with

11:20 their game and a three-to-one victory

11:22 where they also got the equalizer.

11:23 >> Yeah, you talk about the boys in teal,

11:25 I'm still searching for my jacket. Had

11:26 to switch it up, but the guy in the

11:27 yellow jacket, Jesse Cole, who was

11:30 holding host to Banana Ball day at

11:32 Disneyland out in California. Drake,

11:34 it's not just the bananas, it's the

11:36 clowns and it's must-see TV. Must-see

11:38 whether it's at sea or on land in

11:41 Disneyland. That wasn't all. We still

11:43 got Banana Ball at Angel Stadium. I

11:46 mean, what a week for these two.

11:47 >> Yeah, we had to play Banana Ball games

11:49 in an MLB ballpark in Anaheim and the

11:52 Bananas knocked off the Clowns by a

11:53 score of 3 to 1 in game one. And while

11:56 it was low-scoring early, no-scoring

11:59 early, some late pop from the Savannah

12:01 Bananas gave them yet another win.

12:02 They've been far and away the most

12:04 dominant team this season in Banana Ball

12:06 and DR Meadows is a big reason why. He

12:09 was the showman of the night on Friday,

12:10 Danny Hasley doing what he does best,

12:13 grabbing another save on his season.

12:15 Bananas win it by two points.

12:17 >> Showman of the night on that game one

12:19 went to DR Meadows. Meadows five trick

12:22 plays including the backflip that we

12:23 saw. He has just been magical in the

12:27 outfield for the Nanners. Shoe then took

12:29 on the Clowns again and similar results.

12:32 The Bananas 33 and five now in big

12:34 league ballparks across the last two

12:36 seasons. They've been there before and

12:38 they act like it. KJ had a historic

12:41 night. Kyle Jackson first cycle in

12:44 Savannah Bananas history and it only

12:45 took him five innings to get there.

12:47 >> Yeah, while we've seen guys like Jake

12:48 Scholl do it in the sport of Banana

12:50 Ball, the first Savannah Banana hit for

12:52 a cycle was Kyle Jackson. Did it in five

12:54 innings.

12:55 A single, a double, a triple, a home run

12:57 all in five innings and of course in the

13:00 6 to 1 victory. That means he is your

13:02 showman of the night for the Bananas.

13:04 What an incredible weekend it was for

13:05 Banana Ball and again for Kyle Jackson.

13:07 Four for five and a just monster first

13:11 five innings alone for the Bananas.

13:12 >> Domination. 18 to five in the run

13:14 column, 6 to 1 the final score. Let's

13:16 take a look at what went down in the

13:18 Sunshiney State, Arizona, where

13:20 Scottsdale got to play witness to the

13:22 Texas Tailgaters and the Fire Fighters.

13:24 It was It's burner, but Texas came out

13:26 on top. They're now one win away from

13:28 clinching a spot in the Banana Ball

13:30 Championship League Open sponsored by

13:32 GEICO.

13:33 >> Yeah, you see 12 trick plays in the

13:34 Tailgaters as well. They were the

13:35 visiting team. They secured the

13:37 equalizer point and helped them to

13:38 double up the Firefighters last night.

13:40 Dropped the Firefighters to three and

13:42 five, Tailgaters to five and three. And

13:44 now based on that, Texas is number two

13:47 in the Banana Ball Championship League

13:49 standings, ahead of the four and four

13:51 Party Animals.

13:53 >> Gabe Grob reasoning, fans, the

13:55 Tailgaters are playing very hot right

13:57 now. You see it went to Brother

13:59 Gonzales, the showman of the game, three

14:01 for four, a pair of trick plays, triple,

14:04 came in to score. But,

14:06 the Loco Beach Coconuts and Party

14:08 Animals are really the telltale series

14:10 of this weekend. We'll be back with more

14:12 coverage from Conway next.

14:22 >> And these Loco Beach Coconuts

14:28 Kyle Perry comes set for the first

14:29 pitch.

14:31 The pitch is away and it's swung on and

14:32 missed.

14:34 Strike one.

14:39 You could cut the tension with a knife.

14:41 Here comes the 0-1.

14:43 And a swing and another miss.

14:46 The count is 0 and 2. He's in a hole.

14:47 But what's this? THERE'S A DISTURBANCE.

14:50 Party has taken the field. HE HAS OH, HE

14:53 HAS GASSED OUT KYLE PERRY of the Loco

14:55 Beach Coconuts and placed the ball ON A

14:57 TEE FOR HUDSON. AND IT'S ABSOLUTELY

14:59 drilled to the left side of the field.

15:03 THE THROW IS WIDE AND HUDSON IS SAFE AT

15:05 FIRST, but he wants more.

15:08 He's tearing around the bases, HEADING

15:10 TO SECOND. THE THROW IS NOT IN TIME, BUT

15:13 IT GETS AWAY.

15:15 He takes a turn for third. It's going to

15:18 be a bang-bang PLAY, BUT HE'S SAFE AT

15:20 THIRD. HE'S HEADING HOME. HE WANTS IT

15:22 ALL.

15:25 A LITTLE SPILL,

15:26 BUT HE'S STILL UP. THE THROW IS NOT IN

15:29 TIME.

15:30 HOME RUN FOR HUDSON, YOUR GOLDEN BATTER.

15:38 >> 110° and sunny.

15:41 Gets you want to move your

15:44 feet and run around the bases.

15:45 >> would disintegrate.

15:46 >> Oh, well, we've only got about 5 more

15:48 minutes of Drake told me.

15:50 >> It's 57° outside right now.

15:52 >> by tropical storm. 57 * 2 - 4.

15:57 I don't know. Math. Whatever, guys. Loco

15:59 Beach picked up a huge win last night

16:03 and all of a sudden they are in the

16:05 thick of things once more. This team had

16:07 smooth sailing from the get-go. Party

16:10 Animals got off to a one-nothing lead,

16:12 but truly from that point forward it

16:14 didn't feel like it was anything but the

16:16 beach. Eric Gosper, four RBI, had a big

16:20 night. Really, everyone top to bottom in

16:22 the lineup got theirs. It was a plate

16:24 party and everyone ate.

16:25 >> Super impressed with the hitting of the

16:26 Loco Beach Coconuts. You see 16 hits in

16:29 last night's game and their defense was

16:31 incredible, too. 10 trick plays to win

16:33 the equalizer point against the Party

16:34 Animals in the securing of that

16:36 three-to-one victory. And

16:38 AJ, it wasn't just base hits. It was

16:40 working ball for sprints offensively,

16:42 not dealing them defensively.

16:45 Blown away in the Party Animals first

16:47 showcase against the Coconuts in 2026.

16:50 And now that leads us to this, the

16:52 standings of the Banana Ball

16:53 Championship League, where the Coconuts

16:55 are back in the mix.

16:57 >> Herschel Jacobo, it was his first ever

16:59 Showman of the Game. He helped Loco

17:02 Beach get squarely in the mix. I mean,

17:04 you look top to bottom, the Bananas have

17:05 already taken their spot in the open,

17:08 but everything else is wide open.

17:11 The Bananas are in, the Clowns are out.

17:12 It's four teams fighting for three

17:14 spots. Right now, the Coconuts are below

17:16 that red line. But, let me walk you

17:17 through some hypotheticals today. Loco

17:19 Beach beats the Party Animals, they

17:21 already jump over that red line. But, if

17:23 the Fire Fighters lose to Texas again

17:25 today as well, there's a chance that the

17:26 Coconuts could climb to as high as three

17:29 in the BBCL standings. After this

17:31 series, today being the finale, there

17:33 are two games remaining on each team's

17:35 schedule ahead of the open, and it could

17:36 not be more wide open between the

17:38 Tailgaters, Party Animals, Fire

17:40 Fighters, and Coconuts fighting for

17:42 three spots

17:43 in a tournament that will lead to a

17:45 playoff spot. That is one of the many

17:47 new rules in my favorite sport. For more

17:50 on the 11 rules of Banana Ball, we send

17:52 it to Jesse Cole.

17:55 >> The name of the game is Banana Ball, and

17:57 this is the fastest, most entertaining

17:59 game in sports.

18:01 Rule number one, win the inning, win the

18:03 point. If you score the most runs in an

18:05 inning, you get a point. The most points

18:08 wins the game. If the away team has more

18:11 trick plays going into the final inning,

18:13 they will earn the equalizer point. And

18:15 in the last inning of Banana Ball, every

18:18 run counts as a point.

18:20 Rule number two,

18:22 there is a two-hour time limit. No new

18:24 inning can start when the clock hits

18:27 zero. Rule number three, if you step out

18:30 of the batter's box, it is a strike.

18:33 Rule number four, no bunting. If you

18:35 bunt, you're thrown out of the game.

18:37 Rule number five, batters can steal

18:39 first. Rule number six, no walks

18:42 allowed. It becomes a ball for strike

18:44 until every position player touches the

18:47 ball. Rule number seven,

18:49 no mound visits.

18:51 Nope. Rule number eight, if a fan

18:53 catches a foul ball, it is an out. In

18:55 Banana Ball, everything's in play, so

18:57 you better be ready. Rule number nine,

18:59 the showdown tiebreaker. If the game is

19:02 tied at the end of nine innings or when

19:04 time expires, it is pitcher versus

19:06 hitter with one fielder, and the hitter

19:09 has to score. Rule number 10, the Banana

19:11 Ball challenge rule. You, the fans, have

19:14 the opportunity to challenge a ruling on

19:16 the field. Rule number 11, the golden

19:18 batter rule. A team can send up any

19:20 batter to hit in any spot in the lineup.

19:23 This is guaranteeing the best possible

19:25 match up at the end of the game when it

19:26 matters most. These are the official

19:29 rules of banana ball.

19:44 >> Now it's time to read the starting

19:45 LINEUP FOR THE PARTY ANIMALS.

19:48 Out left center field, the center

19:50 fielder number six, Reese Hample.

21:44 BLOOMER.

21:51 GIVING IT FROM section 104 behind home

21:53 plate, the extra hitter, number four,

21:56 TANNER TIMMONS.

22:07 AND COMING OUT OF the first base dugout,

22:11 today's starting pitcher,

22:14 NUMBER 10, BARRETT

22:18 HILTON.

22:25 THE head coach for the Party Animals is

22:26 Mike Babala Bases. He's assisted by

22:29 Thomas Sim Shady Simino and Anthony How

22:31 YOU DOIN' CARAMANO.

22:45 Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, we

22:47 ask that you please rise, if able,

22:50 remove your caps, and join us in

22:52 honoring America with the singing of

22:54 today's national anthem.

22:56 Please welcome to the field, Henry Q.

22:58 Gregory.

23:05 >> Oh, say can you

23:09 see

23:12 by the dawn's

23:14 early

23:16 light

23:18 what so proudly

23:21 we

23:24 hailed at the twilight's

23:27 last gleaming?

23:31 Whose broad stripes and bright stars

23:36 through the perilous

23:41 fight

23:42 o'er the ramparts

23:45 we watched

23:48 were so gallantly

23:52 streaming?

23:55 And the rockets'

23:58 red

23:59 glare

24:01 the bombs bursting

24:04 in air

24:06 gave proof through the

24:10 night

24:12 that our flag was still there. Oh,

24:21 say does

24:23 that star-spangled

24:27 banner

24:29 yet

24:31 wave

24:36 for the land

24:39 of the free

24:44 and the

24:45 home

24:47 of the

24:49 brave?

24:53 Brave.

24:57 >> Oh, say can you

25:06 >> Uh-oh.

25:07 It's time to swag surf and we are so

25:10 back. Loco Beach is at home, but it

25:12 doesn't mean we still can't hit a little

25:14 bit of a swag surf. Put your arm around

25:16 me, Drake, and move it side to side.

25:18 It's just about first pitch time between

25:21 a new found rivalry in Banana Ball, the

25:23 Savannah Bananas the Party Animals. All

25:25 that was promised and more a night ago.

25:27 And the best part of it all is we get

25:29 two more hours of whatever this is

25:31 today. Feel this crowd. Feel this

25:33 energy. Conway, South Carolina has put

25:36 it together.

25:37 Just a couple of miles from Myrtle

25:39 Beach. They call it dirty Myrtle. The

25:41 only thing truly dirty about it are the

25:43 Sterlings and I did have many.

25:46 These are two teams that love to party.

25:49 And an homage to the Savannah Bananas

25:51 the Party Animals. Their headline tour

25:52 swag surfing at Dalton Stadium.

25:55 >> was in teal field at home.

25:57 >> Yeah, last night it felt like you were

25:58 doing a lot of swag surfing at the bar,

26:00 but no one else was in on it. I don't

26:02 know. Lots of hands, lots of arms around

26:04 you.

26:05 >> the ball. I was trying to hold you back.

26:06 I was trying to keep you back.

26:07 >> Well, let's take a look at Loco Beach's

26:09 defense. That was a good transition,

26:11 Drake. To Loco Beach again, goes without

26:13 the designated fielder and oh, would you

26:14 get this? Everything's the same except

26:16 for Eric Asberg. He's stepping in behind

26:18 the dish in place of Ashby. Binding

26:20 today, Asberg, a 10-year professional,

26:22 steps in to be Drake Fontenot's battery

26:25 mate. 65 trick plays on the season, 10

26:28 last night for the group in teal and

26:30 orange. And the big storyline today,

26:32 Drake is a guy who shares your name and

26:34 is somehow taller than you. Drake

26:36 Fontenot. The first pick in Savannah

26:39 Bananas franchise history is set to make

26:41 his first start

26:43 for the group from the beach. Fontenot,

26:46 a Delta State product,

26:48 was the second overall pick in the

26:50 Savannah Bananas player draft. And oh my

26:52 goodness do his numbers just jump off

26:54 the page. As a senior, went 9 and 3 with

26:56 a 2.5 ERA, started 15 games, 86

27:00 strikeouts to just 18 walks. This is a

27:02 guy who fills up the zone. The ball

27:04 simply runs out of his hand and he is

27:06 not the kind of guy that you want to

27:08 have to step into the box and stare

27:10 down. We get to see Fontenot's first

27:11 start of the season today.

27:14 >> What's awesome is I was on hand the last

27:16 time Drake Fontenot started a game, that

27:18 being against the Savannah Bananas in

27:20 Savannah.

27:21 Almost a year ago, about 9 months ago as

27:24 a visitor for Mark Krako, who is the

27:26 head coach of the Banana Ball

27:27 Development Team and Fontenot was so

27:29 dominant, Krako said, "I couldn't take

27:31 him out of the game. I had to leave him

27:33 out there. Let him pitch over half the

27:34 ballgame." which is rarefied air for a

27:36 visitor. Fontenot was just that good. He

27:39 was great the weekend prior in

27:41 Louisville against the Party Animals,

27:42 earned himself that number two overall

27:44 pick and now easing his way back into

27:48 the sport again 9 months later. Gets to

27:50 start today against the Party Animals

27:51 lineup that is oh so dangerous. Reese

27:54 Hampton leads things off. Chase Akuff

27:56 stands behind him. Jake Skole bats the

27:58 three hole and Ballard, Mikey Ballard,

28:01 will still clean things up for the black

28:03 and pink, but that's Reese Hampton, a

28:05 guy who's a 12th rounder to the Tigers.

28:07 Jake Skole, a guy who was a top 15 draft

28:11 pick in 2010 to the Texas Rangers. Chase

28:13 Akuff and Mikey Ballard, couple guys who

28:15 played together at Eckerd.

28:18 And that's your that's your top four.

28:19 >> The beauty of Banana Ball, all four of

28:21 those guys are as effective at getting

28:24 on base. This sport is the ultimate

28:26 equalizer from the sport of baseball

28:28 into Banana Ball. It's proof in the

28:30 pudding with the Party Animals lineup

28:32 and I'm incredibly excited to see them

28:34 compete against Fontenot.

28:35 >> The defending champs couldn't get it

28:37 done last night. Now this game could not

28:39 be more pivotal. The winner will be in

28:41 pole position to make the Banana Ball

28:44 Championship League open. The loser will

28:47 be on the outside looking in presumably

28:50 with just two games to go. Lots of teal,

28:52 lots of orange, wouldn't expect it any

28:55 other way in Coastal Carolina country.

28:58 Drake Fontenot's all warmed up. He's

29:00 ready to go on the hill. It's a sunshiny

29:02 day with a nice sea breeze and boy oh

29:05 boy,

29:06 it's just about Banana Ball time and I

29:08 guess we're still doing start the party

29:09 even though Loco Beaches at home, but

29:11 for those who aren't familiar, we're

29:13 just 2 weeks away from the Coconuts

29:15 first headliner in Charleston, South

29:17 Carolina.

29:18 >> That's going to be incredible. Just

29:19 shows the growth of the game when

29:21 stadiums and venues are

29:23 sold out with brand new teams and Banana

29:25 Ball

29:27 being there the first night

29:29 of the Party Animals initial headline.

29:34 Their first full game headline back in

29:36 Savannah, Georgia.

29:38 >> And now to see what Loco Beach can do in

29:40 a couple weeks, these two teams square

29:41 off here. Here we go. First pitch of

29:43 Drake Fontenot's first start with the

29:45 Coconuts is a strike.

29:47 Reese Hampton, center fielder at the

29:49 dish hitting 212 to this point in the

29:51 year.

29:52 Watches that one miss just a hair

29:54 outside. Really good pitch from

29:56 Fontenot.

29:57 Should be a head 0-2.

30:01 Back to the right side. Jacobo goes

30:03 behind the back. Jordan Brewer swallows

30:05 it for out number one. Worth noting,

30:07 Eric Asberg listed as the starting

30:09 catcher, but it is Ashby Binding back

30:11 there on now a back-to-back day. So,

30:13 he's going to start this one behind the

30:15 plate. Don't be surprised if you see

30:16 some Eric Asberg, maybe some Danny

30:18 Benitez, but you certainly shouldn't be

30:20 surprised when you see Sal Jacobo have a

30:22 ball hit his way and it turns into a

30:23 trick play.

30:24 >> Yeah, the showman of the game last

30:25 night. And by the way, great note on

30:27 catcher. We actually didn't know until

30:28 this moment right here. Crocco said, "I

30:30 got three guys. I can go with any of

30:32 those three guys at catcher. We'll see

30:33 who starts." Binding gets two starts in

30:35 a row. This is not a must-win for the

30:37 Coconuts, but it's pretty close to it.

30:39 >> Aycock, two hopper to Dane Toplin

30:41 between the legs, make it two-no. Jordan

30:43 Brewer can't clamp it between his. It's

30:45 a trick play missed that gets Chase A

30:47 Cup aboard, a night removed from a

30:49 two-for-four ball game where he scored a

30:50 pair of runs.

30:51 >> It's a free 90 for Chase A Cup. I know

30:53 he'll take that. Put the ball in play,

30:54 good things will happen. And back to

30:56 that note, the Coconut's not a must-win,

30:58 but you win today, you're ahead of the

31:00 Party Animals in the Banana Ball

31:01 Championship League standings. You're

31:03 the three seed for that Banana Ball Open

31:05 coming up in a couple of weeks. You need

31:07 to start

31:08 piling up the wins.

31:10 >> Well, you also got to find a way to get

31:12 through Jake Skull. Reigning MVP had

31:14 himself a ball game a night ago. One of

31:16 the lone bright spots for the PAs.

31:18 Three-for-three, two ball four sprints,

31:20 added an extra base knock. It's just par

31:22 for the course for the guy who wears X.

31:24 He's quickly down 0-2 against Drake

31:26 Fontenot, the presumed ace of this

31:28 staff, still getting his feet underneath

31:30 him. Krakower said he's been ramping up

31:32 for this moment specifically.

31:35 Good take from Jake Skull.

31:38 Hands up in the air behind him.

31:41 Try the one-two.

31:43 High hopper to Shav Tonye. Flips to

31:46 Jacobo. They'll stick with just the one.

31:48 It's a fielder's choice.

31:49 That retires out two. Jake Skull takes

31:51 over at first.

31:52 >> You can see Shav Tonye was processing

31:54 the whole way exactly what what he

31:56 wanted to do. In the end, it was kind of

31:58 an awkward jump shot

32:00 to dish it over to to Jacobo. And in the

32:02 end, the Coconuts grab one.

32:04 A Cup goes to the dugout. Skull trades

32:06 places with him.

32:07 >> Skull thought about going for two.

32:09 Instead, it's just a called strike

32:11 against Michael Baller.

32:14 Three ribbies on his lone hit last

32:15 night.

32:19 Party Animals love to keep the bats on

32:21 their shoulder. But Drake Fontenot

32:23 throws strikes.

32:25 Testing Baller.

32:27 Just playing catch with Ashby Vining.

32:28 Fontenot's got himself ahead 1-2 in the

32:30 count, a strike away from getting out of

32:32 the fray.

32:35 Another roller to the left side. This

32:37 one evades Dane Toplin

32:39 and the Titan Tanner Allen scoops it up

32:41 and moves Jake Scholl 90 feet forward.

32:43 Now two on with two gone for number two,

32:46 Jason Swan.

32:46 >> The rookie Mikey Ballou was one for

32:48 three last night with three ribbies.

32:51 So it's one for one today. He has taken

32:53 Banana Ball by storm. 10 RBI on the

32:56 season.

32:57 Ballou,

32:58 heavy stats.

33:02 >> Just missed outside.

33:08 Draco steps off the mound and fakes a

33:10 throw towards the MVP.

33:15 Uh-oh, Ashley Vining can't corral it

33:17 over his head. Force no longer in play

33:19 anywhere but first and this is where

33:21 things get tricky. 2-0 count a ball for

33:24 Sprint all of a sudden would score two

33:26 runs.

33:27 And that's definitely a pass ball. Got

33:30 lost in the sun.

33:32 But it's a lot of pressure on Fontenot.

33:34 And oh my, now it's even more of a

33:37 pressure cooker. He cannot miss the zone

33:39 here.

33:40 >> A total red light.

33:43 >> 3-0 called strike.

33:45 >> Just put the bat on that ball is so

33:47 impressive, too. On a 3-0.

33:53 >> All right, just like that the count's

33:54 full. Fontenot

33:57 >> Such a good 3-1 pitch.

33:58 >> As what Swan take five times in a row

34:00 after the good 3-1. Does he have another

34:02 and he does. Swanny pops it in the

34:04 center.

34:05 Pumps, camps underneath it and brings it

34:08 in the old fashion way to keep the Party

34:10 Animals off the board in the first

34:12 inning. With two in scoring position,

34:14 they're stranded on islands. Drake

34:16 Fontenot able to get it done on the hill

34:19 and now the CocoNuts are going to have a

34:20 chance to walk it off after a scoreless

34:23 top of the first for the pink and green.

34:25 >> The Loco Beach CocoNuts flip things over

34:27 this weekend and become the home team

34:28 today for Sunday matinee and a little

34:31 party between these two squads. The

34:33 Party Animals defense then comes out of

34:35 the bottom of the first and it's led by

34:36 Chase Akop at shortstop. 14 trick plays

34:39 leads the team but do not overlook 11

34:43 from Jake Skolnick right field. His

34:45 uptick in trick plays since 2023 into

34:48 24, 25 not 2026

34:51 has been an incredible year for Skolnick

34:52 trick play category and hiding somewhere

34:55 behind Jason Swan's ear Mikey Ballou,

34:57 the rookie with eight of them. Look for

34:59 Akop and Ballou have great chemistry,

35:00 couple guys who played together for a

35:01 year in college. We're going to see them

35:03 in the middle infield protecting Brett

35:05 Helton, B. Helton who wears number 10.

35:07 Colorado Springs kid. Played his college

35:10 ball at Utah, was a ninth rounder to the

35:11 Pittsburgh Pirates in 2015 and has been

35:14 a Party Animal since 2022.

35:17 If you had to pick a guy you'd say, man,

35:18 that's the heart and soul of the team.

35:21 I don't know if it's Brett Helton, but

35:23 if you said, who's the human mascot of

35:25 the Party Animals, that certainly is and

35:27 therefore he gets a nod in that heart

35:28 and soul category. He's top

35:30 >> Don't know if he did it on purpose, but

35:32 I certainly won't say a single bad word

35:33 about Brett Helton because he paid for

35:35 our dinner a couple nights ago. So Brett

35:37 Helton, the second coming of Cy Young is

35:39 taking over on the mound against my

35:41 favorite lineup in the league. It's Loco

35:43 Beach. It's Ben Parker, Dan Toplin,

35:45 Tanner Allen, the three do up here the

35:47 chance to walk it off

35:49 against Brett Helton and his luscious

35:51 locks.

35:52 Helton works only from the stretch.

35:54 Parker's up there swinging.

35:57 Can tightrope walk the foul line down

35:58 the third base side.

36:00 Parker two for five last night, had a

36:02 double

36:03 on his ledger.

36:05 Swinging a good back. Good bat.

36:08 And a good bat. His laughs are crazy,

36:11 dog. Can't teach those genetics.

36:13 His 13 hits are second in all of Banana

36:16 Ball, lead the Cocos.

36:18 Wants another one here.

36:20 Skied into right, Jake Skolnick.

36:23 Make it 12 trick plays on the year. The

36:25 MVP

36:27 just continues to add facets to his game

36:29 and that's what's so scary. If this

36:30 guy's going to start leading outfielders

36:32 in trick plays, too,

36:34 my goodness. Fear X.

36:36 >> Right on cue from Jake Scholl, who's as

36:38 good as it comes in Banana Ball at the

36:40 plate, has developed it in the field as

36:42 well. He'll once again be in the MVP

36:45 conversation.

36:48 Scholl, by the way, had 41 trick plays

36:50 all of last season, already has 12

36:54 through nine games in 2026.

36:56 >> Big timber out to left.

36:59 Back of T.J. Reeves' jersey showed for a

37:01 moment, but that one stalls up in the

37:03 sky. Not a lick of wind anymore, and the

37:05 rookie brings it in.

37:07 Timber put a charge into it, but just

37:09 didn't have the legs to leave the yard.

37:11 >> I was told by Jason Swan, who played

37:14 here in college, the ball carries, the

37:16 ball travels in Coastal Carolina. We did

37:18 not see it last night. We We didn't see

37:19 it there.

37:22 >> Tanner Allen goes up ball. That one's

37:24 rolling for a long ways, and he's not

37:25 stopping at first. The former national

37:27 player of the year is on his feet with a

37:29 stand-up double, and that's the

37:31 inning-winning run represented with his

37:33 speed, hitting the deck Prescott hips

37:36 180 ft from home.

37:38 >> It is so cool to see Tanner Allen in

37:40 this sport. We're watching on the TV

37:42 screen ahead of us the broadcast with

37:43 Vanderbilt and Tennessee, little Sunday

37:45 SEC baseball on the big screen. When I

37:47 watch SEC baseball, I think Tanner

37:49 Allen. He means that much to the sport,

37:52 and now here he is a star already in

37:53 Banana Ball.

37:55 >> Jordan Brewer went through the wringer

37:56 last night. Hit by a pair of pitches,

37:58 still went two for two at the plate, and

38:00 he made three trick plays over at first.

38:03 With the average sitting at 281 for the

38:05 hefty right-handed bat.

38:08 Giving the fans a chance early.

38:11 But that one's ticketed for the seats.

38:14 And just counts as a long strike.

38:21 Uno uno.

38:24 Drilled. Left field. THIS IS TROUBLE AND

38:27 IT'S A WALK-OFF. TANNER ALLEN'S IN TO

38:29 SCORE. JORDAN BREWER WALK-OFF SINGLE AND

38:32 LOCO BEACH HAS A ONE-NOTHING LEAD.

38:35 Go Loco, baby. Pick it up right where we

38:38 left off. The coconuts explode for a

38:41 running a point in the first. LET'S

38:43 DANCE. WHY NOT?

38:49 Don't even know what that dancing. Let's

38:50 do some hamboning.

38:52 It's like a haka

38:56 but not.

38:59 And I think they'll score that a double

39:01 for Jordan Brewer. I think they'll give

39:02 him an extra base hit on that.

39:04 One hopping the wall. What a piece of

39:06 professional hitting. Tanner Allen going

39:08 oppo to Jordan Brewer bouncing off the

39:10 wall and you said it pregame off the

39:12 air. If the coconuts don't strike early,

39:15 this game could get very interesting.

39:17 But if they get a two-point lead in the

39:18 first three or four innings, this is

39:20 their day. Already one to nothing.

39:25 It's a one-nothing lead for the Loco

39:26 Beach Coconuts here in Conway, South

39:28 Carolina. Drake Farris to know back to

39:30 the hill when we're back.

39:41 They are going fast.

40:37 >> Oh, perfect. Banana Ball live. This was

40:39 made for me. A bar for 21 year olds and

40:41 under. I just make the cut. I get to go

40:43 to both kinds of bars. 21 and under, 21

40:46 and over. Best stage in the world.

40:49 Maybe a little bit.

40:51 Oh my gosh.

41:15 BETTING NOW ANDY

41:19 MAN, THAT GOT ME FEELING SOME KIND OF

41:22 WAY. The heartthrob, Love Island

41:24 Australia turned Dominic Fike, it's Andy

41:28 Cosgrove. Man oh man. Doesn't that get

41:31 your heart pumping? That's a million

41:33 views right there. That's a million

41:34 views from Cos.

41:37 Shades of Dominic Fike.

41:41 Oh, baby doll. Now I truly can't move

41:43 on. Oh, one spot. Drake Toll trying to

41:46 move right on past Andy Cosgrove who in

41:48 the past has been a tough out, but he's

41:49 had a slower start to this season. Nice.

41:52 Thanks, dog.

41:58 You're going to get Drake Fontenot and

41:59 Drake Toll mixed up. I'm more than happy

42:01 to switch places with that guy.

42:03 He's a stud.

42:04 Well, we need to get Fontenot back on

42:06 the mound. Right up the middle.

42:09 For baby doll Andy Cosgrove, the DH

42:12 starts things off with a hit in the

42:14 second. That brings up Ronnie.

42:21 From an a cappella walk-up. I'd say a

42:23 cappella, there was some guitar. There

42:24 were shades of guitar.

42:26 Is the guitar in the room with us right

42:28 now?

42:30 A cappella walk-up.

42:32 Do a base knock for Cos, and Ronnie

42:34 nearly wore it from Botno.

42:40 Just missed. Ponzio's really good at

42:42 leaving whatever happened in the past

42:44 behind him. He's not going to be

42:45 affected by the runner on first, nor the

42:47 2-0 count.

42:49 I mean, that's as close as it comes.

42:51 >> Yeah.

42:52 He double tapped the helmet right there.

42:58 Didn't leave any doubt.

43:00 Now a 3-1 count.

43:06 Five-pitch ball four sprint. Cosgrove's

43:09 off to the races. He's headed for third.

43:11 Ball home holds up at first, and there's

43:13 a couple ducks on the corners with

43:14 nobody down in the top of the second.

43:18 Fun to see Bronson Ball home and Sal

43:19 Giaccomo embrace, former teammates of

43:21 the Party Animals in 2025, now squaring

43:24 off against one another.

43:25 And don't look down, but Botno's allowed

43:28 two singles and a ball four sprint in

43:30 the last four batters he's faced.

43:33 Looks to get back on track against the

43:34 eight-hole hitter, T.J. Reeves. His .273

43:38 average spits on one in the dirt.

43:41 >> A .385 OBP so far for Reeves, playing in

43:44 his sixth Banana Ball game.

43:47 14th plate appearance.

43:49 Contrast that to guys like Reece Hampton

43:51 who have 38 plate appearances this year.

43:55 Reeves is still ramping up himself in

43:57 this sport, but he's going to be he's

43:59 got such a consistent bat. He's going to

44:01 be a force in that right-handed batter's

44:02 box.

44:06 >> Party Animals continue the patient

44:08 approach at the plate. That's what I

44:09 think PA stands for.

44:12 Not public address, not Party Animals,

44:14 patient approach. It pays. One runs in

44:16 on an RBI single for TJ Reeves.

44:20 Pumps Bronson Ballou home up to second

44:23 and brings out

44:25 a myriad of pink to celebrate.

44:28 Oh, those are butts.

44:31 Very clearly butts.

44:37 The question was pregame, who has the

44:40 biggest butts

44:42 that we could put out on the field for

44:44 the run celebration.

44:47 Which Ashton Lansdell said, what if we

44:49 put Jake Skole out there?

44:51 And there he is.

44:54 You don't always see him in run cellies,

44:55 but in the conversation of rumps,

44:58 rock on, Jake Skole.

45:01 Fontenot in a little bit of a jam.

45:04 Good thing I've got peanut butter and

45:06 bread, it's sandwich time.

45:08 Bryson Bloomer

45:11 averaging a hit

45:12 in every third plate appearance.

45:16 Down 0-2.

45:17 Home plate umpire Enrique Gonzalez says

45:20 he went.

45:23 Oh, man, that's a sword. Take a seat.

45:26 Drake Fontenot gets his first strikeout

45:28 of the day.

45:30 Making Bloomer look like a fool. That

45:31 was a half-hearted swing.

45:33 >> Yeah, I don't think Bloomer went on the

45:34 pitch prior, but he definitely went

45:36 here. There's no keeping that bat back.

45:39 >> Drake Fontenot, his first strikeout in a

45:42 start in Banana Ball

45:44 in 2026.

45:46 Tanner Thomas, first pitch swinging.

45:47 HERE YOU GO, SHOTA TO JACOVO, but he

45:50 loses it on the transfer and they only

45:52 get the one.

45:53 >> They take a piece of that the second

45:54 time you see it from Shota. Yeah, just

45:57 not a purposeful throw to the bag to

45:59 Jacovo. Just kind of lobbed it and then

46:01 look at this, Lobbing it up there. You

46:03 need You want to move a a bit faster.

46:05 Should be a a flick, not a lob. I want

46:07 you to flick it, don't lob it here.

46:11 Put some pressure on Draco because the

46:13 lineup turns over for the ever so

46:15 dangerous Reese Hampton.

46:18 Right on left match up starts with the

46:19 zone filled up. There should be no

46:21 curvature, you know, that that's got to

46:23 go straight.

46:28 You leave room for like it's kind of

46:29 parabolic.

46:33 I just want my rolie to glide. If I hear

46:35 that thing tick-tock, we're going to

46:37 have some real problems.

46:39 >> Correct.

46:40 >> I I usually have that ice all on me.

46:43 >> Usually?

46:44 >> Yeah, the high today is 59° in Conway,

46:46 South Carolina.

46:47 >> Yeah, I keep ice as far away from me as

46:49 possible.

46:50 >> You know, we love to joke around, but I

46:51 think that genuinely is why you got

46:53 pulled over today. They're like, "This

46:54 guy is iced out." Yeah.

46:57 >> That one's pulled up the middle. Jacobo

46:59 can't get to it. How about a two-out RBI

47:02 single for Reese Hampton? You hit like

47:04 that, you deserve to wear ice. If you

47:06 act like Drake told you, just do it

47:08 anyways.

47:10 >> Yeah.

47:12 You know, I was going 14 over, and I

47:14 thought he'd nab me for that. But then

47:16 he waited 4 minutes. He he rode me. He

47:18 tailed me. We couldn't find a safe spot

47:20 to pull over.

47:21 >> And then pulled me over in the middle of

47:22 the road, four-lane road, said, "Uh your

47:25 tags are paper."

47:26 >> Yeah, that's what happens when you get a

47:28 new car.

47:31 I haven't got rid of the white Nissan

47:32 Maxima though. She's still in the

47:33 garage.

47:35 >> My favorite part of the whole ordeal is

47:37 I'm wearing

47:38 the teal suit that's been stolen by the

47:40 party crashers. You're wearing your fur

47:41 coat. Yeah. The guy the the officer, I

47:44 should say.

47:45 >> Yes, correct. Not the guy.

47:46 >> He looked at you. He looked at me and

47:48 said, uh "Nice shirt."

47:50 Yeah, "Where are you going?"

47:52 >> Sorry, officer. I can explain. We're on

47:54 our way to church.

47:56 >> I said a party at the beach. I think

47:58 that almost got Drake in some trouble,

47:59 but got away with a written warning. How

48:02 about it? Deuces go wild. Two on, two

48:04 down, the two-two.

48:06 Just a hair high. Written warning, man.

48:08 We're just burning through these at this

48:09 point.

48:12 Chase Jacob can burn Fontenot for

48:13 another run here in the second.

48:15 Runners on the move. Uh-oh, instead

48:17 we're burning the bat and grabbing a

48:19 chair. Drake Fontenot gets his second

48:21 strikeout, but not before the party

48:23 animals plate a pair. The Polka Dots

48:26 lead it one nothing, but they'll need at

48:27 least two to hold on to that lead in the

48:29 bottom of the second here in Conway,

48:31 South Carolina.

48:35 >> AJ Kerrish, what up, AJ?

48:38 Well, Conway, I know everybody here

48:40 knows all about the Chanticleers.

48:45 Chants up, baby.

48:48 AND THAT'S INSPIRED US TO PUT TOGETHER A

48:50 little game that we call Chanticleers.

48:54 I've got Dad Russ, I've got daughter

48:57 Sophie, and they are going to go

48:59 head-to-head in a little cheer showdown.

49:04 And you, Conway, are going to decide who

49:07 our winner is. Sophie, I understand you

49:10 actually have years of gymnastics and

49:12 dance experience. And Russ, you do not.

49:17 So, this should be very very

49:19 interesting. Sophie, you may go first.

49:28 Okay, we got a nice ballet twirl. Russ,

49:30 you're up.

49:34 Oh, wow. This one's going to be close.

49:37 Sophie, round two.

49:44 OH, WOW. A BACK BEND and a cartwheel.

49:47 Russ,

49:49 he looks thrilled.

49:53 Okay, okay.

49:55 And that cartwheel?

50:01 All right. Third and final round. Go

50:04 big, Sophie.

50:07 A high kick

50:10 and a split.

50:12 Ross, thoughts and prayers.

50:24 Well, you know what? He gave it a good

50:26 effort. I'm still going to leave it up

50:28 to you, Conway. Is our Shock the Cheers

50:31 winner Ross

50:35 or is our Shock the Cheers winner

50:38 Sophie?

50:40 Congratulations, Sophie.

50:43 >> The lefty Aro Glasper

50:45 leads off here in the bottom of the

50:46 second.

50:48 Party Animals mounted a two-run

50:50 advantage on Drake Farris now in the top

50:53 of the inning.

50:58 High bread Hilton

51:02 Yeah.

51:04 >> Hey guys, I just threw a strike but he

51:05 didn't want to call it. It's okay.

51:07 I will do it again right here. It's a

51:08 changeup and it's going to be sick.

51:10 >> No, I

51:11 Here we go.

51:13 There's the strike we wanted.

51:15 The cool thing is Can you guys hear me

51:16 by the way?

51:16 >> Oh, we can hear you.

51:17 >> Loud and clear.

51:18 >> Cool. Sometimes

51:20 >> you're kind of maybe there's a makeup

51:21 call. So, if there's like a two-strike

51:23 close one maybe he'll give it to me.

51:26 We're going heater, one of the first

51:27 ones of the day.

51:30 >> Okay, one, two.

51:32 >> What is that? Would you say "Hike" when

51:33 you throw it? Does it make you throw

51:34 faster?

51:35 >> Sometimes, yeah. It depends on what the

51:37 noise is.

51:39 We're going changeup again. This one's

51:40 going to be out of the zone so he chases

51:41 it, hopefully.

51:45 >> That one came after so that was like

51:47 trying to will it.

51:49 >> She said

51:49 >> Yep.

51:51 >> I'm going slider this time. First one of

51:53 the day. Let's make it a good one.

51:54 Strike three.

51:56 Oh, no.

51:57 >> Just think about that fried mahi-mahi we

52:00 had the other night.

52:01 >> Uh-oh, my mic fell.

52:03 There we go.

52:11 Oh, no.

52:12 >> Osper.

52:13 >> have a guy? Do I have a friend?

52:15 >> Long shot to right.

52:16 >> I do. OH MY GOSH.

52:18 >> WOW! WHAT A CATCH! OH MY GOODNESS!

52:21 >> I've got a friend and a trick play.

52:22 >> Brett Helton, you do have a friend out

52:24 there. Reese Hampton.

52:27 Woah!

52:28 >> That was beautiful.

52:29 >> I can't breathe.

52:30 >> That was away from his body, too. That

52:31 was awesome.

52:32 >> That That was beautiful.

52:34 >> That was beautimus.

52:35 >> On the run at the warning track?

52:38 >> Wow.

52:39 >> Wow.

52:40 >> Wow, wow, wow.

52:42 >> Fastball away.

52:44 Mhm, nice.

52:45 >> That's uh your friends are hitting the

52:46 ball, which is good as well.

52:48 >> Yeah, the first that inning was awesome.

52:51 Hits are so cool.

52:53 Like

52:55 >> Good, that's two. Hey, thoughts on the

52:56 coconuts so far? Fun guys to play

52:58 against?

52:59 >> Yeah. Yeah, good good group of guys. I

53:01 like their attitudes. Everything about

53:03 like their whole

53:04 vibe and their theme is is working and I

53:06 like them. We were just talking about

53:07 today and like

53:09 talking about who's our favorite to play

53:10 against and like be around

53:11 and they're they're up there, man.

53:13 >> That's cool.

53:15 >> And that was really cool because Ronnie

53:16 called cutter and I threw a fastball and

53:18 he got out.

53:19 >> Cool, cool.

53:20 >> Cuz that would have been really bad.

53:23 Mhm, nice.

53:24 >> All right. Well, thanks, Brett Helton.

53:25 Lot of fun.

53:26 >> What uh what are we GETTING INTO

53:27 TONIGHT?

53:32 OH, YEAH.

53:33 >> WOAH! Jumbling towers.

53:37 >> Jumbling towers?

53:38 >> All brand Jenga in left field.

53:41 >> We could have done it like five. We

53:42 could like Sunday funday, you know? We

53:43 can find some cool place to hang and

53:45 chillax and enjoy, you know, kind of

53:47 like an off evening. So,

53:48 >> I owe you a beer. I owe you a beer.

53:51 >> All right. I'll take you up on it.

53:52 >> Okay. Peace and love.

53:53 Chillax it on deck.

54:04 >> CJ, where are you?

54:06 >> I'm over here on the third base dugout

54:08 representing this entire side and all

54:10 the way out to left field including the

54:12 berm and my friends over at the Bud

54:14 Light tent. I see you. And I think this

54:16 side is going to be the loudest side.

54:22 >> Yeah, we'll see about that, CJ. This is

54:25 a competition. Side versus side where

54:28 you the fans have to finish each song.

54:31 Are you guys ready?

54:52 >> Ah, first round goes to the third base

54:56 and left field berm.

55:00 RIGHT FIELD BERM, I NEED TO HEAR YOU.

55:09 Sing it.

55:20 All right. This round goes to the first

55:23 base and right field berm side.

55:29 I need to hear Y'ALL AS LOUD AS YOU CAN.

55:44 >> LOUDER.

55:53 John Waite, this is so tough to decide,

55:57 but the winner OF TODAY'S SING-OFF IS

56:05 THE FIRST BASE IN RIGHT FIELD SIDE.

56:54 NAMASTE.

57:02 Leading off of the party animal

57:03 >> Oh, man, do I feel Zen. Namaste, Drake

57:07 told Namaste. Namaste.

57:10 Oh, in high school with a girl named

57:12 Namas.

57:15 Just Namas?

57:16 >> Last name Day.

57:17 >> Oh, cool.

57:18 Sounds like my type. All right, 1-1

57:20 game, third inning.

57:23 Drake Bath and back out for more, but X

57:25 is going to try to give it to him.

57:26 >> You would have loved her.

57:28 >> Love's a strong word.

57:31 But I love everybody, yeah, probably.

57:33 I love absolutely everybody. Can't

57:35 believe I haven't said this yet. I love

57:36 you, YouTube chat. Each and every one of

57:38 you.

57:39 >> E L E

57:42 >> I'm like um

57:43 Santa Claus when it comes to YouTube

57:45 chat.

57:47 >> You're Santa Claus.

57:48 >> Yes, in that Tim Allen killed me one

57:50 time.

57:53 >> I think I'm Rudolph because I've got a

57:54 burnt red nose.

57:56 Goal! Ripped in right, it's a liner.

57:59 It's down. Here comes Gideon Adlon. He's

58:01 got a rocket of an arm and Skull knows

58:03 about it. He holds it first, but the

58:04 MVP's got another knock.

58:06 >> Yeah, I see Nocturnalized, Kiki, Emma

58:09 Punky.

58:11 Big O Rico Suave in there?

58:14 Desiree?

58:16 Cap'n Crunch, Boston Fan, Coldbite

58:17 underscore. Come on, Catherine even?

58:19 >> I'm a I'm a big Peggy fan.

58:21 >> Peggy's great, man. Peggy's great.

58:23 >> in every chat and it means a lot.

58:24 >> Peggy's great. A lot of usual suspects

58:26 in there.

58:28 We love you all.

58:30 Equally. One love. It's what they say at

58:33 the beach.

58:34 >> One love. We listened to a lot of Bob

58:35 Marley on the way here.

58:36 >> We did. My number one artist every year.

58:38 Drake O, number one. DOUBLE PLAY.

58:43 >> HE WENT BETWEEN THE LEGS.

58:43 >> AND HE'S POINTING UP AT THE BOOTH.

58:45 >> between the legs.

58:46 >> THAT'S A TRICK PLAY. COUNT IT. POINT

58:48 RIGHT UP HERE, Drake O. We're counting

58:50 that. We're counting that.

58:51 >> THAT'S AN INSANE TRICK PLAY FROM DRAKE

58:53 FONTENOT.

58:55 OH, THIS IS INCREDIBLE.

58:57 >> HE WENT BETWEEN THE LEGS.

58:58 >> He's unbelievable.

59:01 Wow. I love you, Drake Fontenot.

59:05 >> Do we see that? I know we just saw the

59:07 replay.

59:08 I would like to see 17 million replays.

59:12 If that's what I saw when I took too

59:14 many Benadryl, man, I'd take Benadryl

59:15 all the time.

59:16 >> You still do take Benadryl all the time.

59:19 We had to leave early last night because

59:21 Drake was talking to the Hat Man.

59:22 >> I see the party crashers sometimes when

59:24 I take Benadryl. Like a distorted

59:25 version of them.

59:26 >> Chopper left side. Drake's talking to an

59:29 empty chair. Shot Tonya's throwing a

59:32 little bit short.

59:33 Didn't have the zip to beat the runner.

59:37 >> First hit of the weekend for Swan here

59:38 in Conway.

59:40 >> 200 now in the career for Jason Swan.

59:42 That's awesome.

59:44 It's a big milestone.

59:46 Have you ever done 200 of anything?

59:49 >> Push-ups this morning.

59:51 >> Oh, see me personally if I want to do

59:53 200 of something I

59:55 >> eat rice.

59:56 >> Yeah, that's that's pretty easy.

59:59 >> Line drive looping away from Ben Parker.

1:00:01 Not a chance to get there.

1:00:04 Swan now into the 200 hit club holds in

1:00:06 scoring position. Right, it's a little

1:00:08 two out rally after Drake Fontenot's

1:00:10 magic on the hill. Cosgrove's in the two

1:00:13 hit club.

1:00:14 Today.

1:00:15 >> Two for two now for the Party Animals.

1:00:18 Ronnie O for O. Ball four sprint

1:00:20 earlier.

1:00:22 Taking his time walking to the plate.

1:00:23 California kid.

1:00:25 Out of Brentwood. Played some college

1:00:26 ball at Arizona State. Been a Party

1:00:28 Animal since 2024. Enjoying his junior

1:00:30 season.

1:00:32 >> Oh!

1:00:34 >> Hot shot in the right. Runners being

1:00:36 signaled in. No, you got to stop because

1:00:39 Gideon Antle has a plus plus plus arm. I

1:00:42 mean that thing's got to grade out 80

1:00:43 out of 80.

1:00:45 That thing is just a flamethrower. But

1:00:47 now you've got runners everywhere for

1:00:49 the Rookie.

1:00:50 >> And there has never been a grand slam in

1:00:52 regulation.

1:00:53 >> Never been a grand slam in regulation in

1:00:55 the sport of Banana Ball since it's

1:00:56 inception in 2020.

1:00:59 >> Can Reeves be the first? He's already

1:01:01 one for one today with an RBI attached

1:01:03 to a single.

1:01:05 Fontenot's not afraid to go right at

1:01:07 him.

1:01:08 Dips into the zone.

1:01:10 Huge spot early in this contest.

1:01:12 Two down.

1:01:14 Traffic jam on the bases. Reeves

1:01:16 rolled the top one. He goes up the

1:01:18 middle and that's out three. Sal

1:01:20 Giacobbe with the heads up play to cover

1:01:22 the bag.

1:01:24 And the Savannah Bananas hold the Party

1:01:26 Animals at bay. Now, we're going to

1:01:28 check in with my favorite part of every

1:01:30 game, Bananas Foster.

1:01:32 >> Bananas Foster, Tory Briardy.

1:01:36 >> Across the United States, there are over

1:01:38 400,000

1:01:40 children and teens in foster care. To

1:01:43 raise awareness and support communities,

1:01:46 we created Bananas Foster, the official

1:01:49 nonprofit of Banana Ball. Our

1:01:52 organization is dedicated to celebrating

1:01:55 those in the foster care community while

1:01:58 educating and inspiring others to get

1:02:01 involved.

1:02:02 Tonight, we are celebrating the Santo

1:02:05 Pietro family.

1:02:07 Sam is a veteran of the United States

1:02:10 Army.

1:02:12 He and his wife, Ashley, chose to become

1:02:16 a licensed foster family after he

1:02:18 retired 5 years ago.

1:02:21 Since being licensed, they have focused

1:02:23 on keeping siblings together and have

1:02:26 welcomed seven children and teens into

1:02:30 their home

1:02:32 and adopted five into their family,

1:02:35 including two sets of siblings.

1:02:38 Fans, please join us in celebrating this

1:02:41 amazing family for making a difference

1:02:44 right here in your community.

1:02:59 >> Thank you, veterans. Thank you, foster

1:03:01 families.

1:03:03 Always a special moment.

1:03:06 Consistent part of every Banana Ball

1:03:08 show.

1:03:09 You want to help yourself, then text

1:03:11 bunch to 50155.

1:03:15 >> Yeah, man. It just transcends the sport.

1:03:17 I've been a part of a lot of these

1:03:18 celebrations in the three years that

1:03:20 I've been here. It It never

1:03:23 really never gets old.

1:03:27 You see it every week. You watch it in

1:03:28 the YouTube chat

1:03:29 in the YouTube chat or on YouTube online

1:03:31 on TV every week and and it can be easy

1:03:33 to pass by these stories, but

1:03:36 just the same as the Bananas Foster

1:03:38 family we we honored in Columbus Ohio

1:03:41 three

1:03:42 two three years ago.

1:03:44 And we

1:03:46 These are human beings who are getting

1:03:47 their moment in front of their community

1:03:49 to be celebrated. That's so cool to me.

1:03:51 I I don't want to pass by that ever.

1:03:53 Bananas Foster's are special special

1:03:55 thing we do here and

1:03:57 that is

1:03:58 the exact opposite. Correct.

1:04:01 Let's get that off the screen, please.

1:04:03 Hayden Bowler and AJ Kirsch.

1:04:07 Okay, thanks. All right, now we get to

1:04:09 look at 5,300 awesome fans.

1:04:12 We got a tie game at one a piece. Every

1:04:15 single batter represents the inning

1:04:18 winning run for Loco Beach here as the

1:04:20 home team in the bottom of the third.

1:04:22 Starts off with Peyton Shattenkirk.

1:04:24 8 9 and 10 do up in the order.

1:04:27 Shatty. Uh-oh, firewood.

1:04:31 And he's going to run it out just in

1:04:32 case, but that one stays foul.

1:04:35 Man, that bat it lived a good life.

1:04:38 R.I.P. in peace that bat.

1:04:41 In pieces.

1:04:43 That's how it be.

1:04:49 Mark Krako shows it off.

1:04:52 To the trash it goes. That thing could

1:04:54 hurt a child.

1:04:56 Let's not test that. Or any human.

1:04:59 You ever got a splinter?

1:05:01 I've had many splinters in my life.

1:05:04 I haven't.

1:05:05 You've never had a splinter? Of any

1:05:08 sort? I don't typically hang around

1:05:10 loose wood.

1:05:11 You got to get out more.

1:05:13 >> No, I just sit on the you know, not many

1:05:15 splinters hang out in sand. I just

1:05:16 >> I tell everyone the beach is the safest

1:05:18 place in the world.

1:05:19 >> no. You're saying you only spend time

1:05:20 around firm wood. How does one even

1:05:23 concoct that?

1:05:25 >> Shot Donahue popped up but Fardi's in

1:05:27 the way. So, he's going to get another

1:05:28 try. Thanks, Fardi.

1:05:30 >> You know, how does one concoct that?

1:05:31 It's really simple.

1:05:32 >> I just don't think that that loose wood

1:05:34 you cannot go into any scenario

1:05:36 believing you're going to avoid loose

1:05:39 wood expecting the wood to be firm.

1:05:41 >> Every day.

1:05:42 >> Okay.

1:05:43 >> I wake up with morning affirmations. The

1:05:45 first being I will not get a splinter. I

1:05:47 will not get a bee sting and I've still

1:05:49 never had either.

1:05:50 >> Oh, you've never had a bee sting?

1:05:51 >> Could be allergic. Shot Donahue

1:05:54 to left.

1:05:56 Over Reeves outstretched glove. Shotty's

1:05:58 turning for two. Inning winning run Cruz

1:06:01 is in the scoring position. That one

1:06:03 took a plunge.

1:06:05 And in an 0-2 spot, Shot Donahue took

1:06:07 full advantage of the extra life he was

1:06:09 given.

1:06:11 And gives Al Giacabozzi a chance to walk

1:06:13 it off against his former team.

1:06:21 >> You know what I just thought of?

1:06:23 >> What's that?

1:06:24 >> We do not have a way to distinguish

1:06:27 inside the ballpark which team's ahead

1:06:29 and by how many points.

1:06:31 >> Yes, we do. Try again.

1:06:35 >> I'm looking at the scoreboard right now

1:06:37 and it only tracks the runs. It's

1:06:40 >> Come on, I know you've got a brain up

1:06:42 there.

1:06:43 >> No, that's

1:06:44 >> That's questionable. Points, triples.

1:06:46 They've said it three times on the

1:06:47 public address.

1:06:49 >> Oh, now. So, instead of tracking the

1:06:51 hits, they're tracking the points as

1:06:53 hits. Okay. Don't

1:06:55 No, no, no.

1:06:59 >> Uh-oh, Drake's going to start pushing

1:07:00 buttons. We need to get something going

1:07:02 here quick.

1:07:02 >> work here. I

1:07:04 work here.

1:07:04 >> please. didn't

1:07:05 >> know that.

1:07:06 >> Drake, stop

1:07:06 >> the buttons.

1:07:08 >> I That's all I'm going to do. Oh, no.

1:07:11 >> I apologize in advance. Drake is

1:07:13 buttoned out of his mind right now.

1:07:16 Please stop pushing those buttons.

1:07:18 Jacobo splinters it into center.

1:07:20 Shotaigne holds it third, but Jacobo

1:07:24 pushes the inning-winning run all the

1:07:26 way over to third base, and now Gideon

1:07:28 Antal has a chance for a walk-off.

1:07:30 >> You said yesterday, AJ, there were no

1:07:31 buttons for me to push up here.

1:07:33 >> Yeah, and then I showed up today and

1:07:34 there were no

1:07:35 >> I brought my own buttons.

1:07:36 >> bunch of his own buttons.

1:07:38 >> And when we got pulled over today, the

1:07:39 officer looked at you and was like, "Are

1:07:41 those all legal buttons?" And you said,

1:07:44 "None of your business."

1:07:46 Giddy up. Swings at the first ONE TO

1:07:48 HIM. SHOTAIGNE, DID HE GET UNDER THE

1:07:50 TAG?

1:07:51 WHOA! WHOA! WHAT A DOUBLE PLAY from

1:07:54 Bryson's Bloomer.

1:07:57 Are you kidding me?

1:07:59 That's game-altering.

1:08:02 I need to see that again. Holy cow,

1:08:04 Shotaigne's not even arguing it.

1:08:08 Genius. What a What a play by captain

1:08:10 The Captain. Bloomer, the quick tag to

1:08:12 throw in plenty of time.

1:08:13 >> Wow.

1:08:15 >> My goodness.

1:08:16 >> Runners on the corners, nobody away. Now

1:08:18 just a runner on second with two down

1:08:19 for Pumps.

1:08:28 That's a way to help your pitcher out.

1:08:30 Brett Helton was smiling ear-to-ear.

1:08:33 >> He loved that. That's his friend, Bryson

1:08:34 Bloomer.

1:08:37 Look at that. You see the way Helton

1:08:38 changes the arm angle, too. That's one

1:08:40 of the

1:08:41 best pieces of banana ball. If I'm

1:08:43 throwing quickly at you, I'm taking no

1:08:45 time, just one pitch after the other.

1:08:46 Changing my arm angle makes it

1:08:48 incredibly tough.

1:08:52 >> And Parker with a wide-open stance.

1:08:57 Pops it up. Fans have an opportunity

1:08:59 behind the plate. Hats in the air, but

1:09:01 it's into the asphalt.

1:09:04 >> Into the what?

1:09:06 >> The asphalt.

1:09:06 >> Whose fault?

1:09:08 >> The asphalt.

1:09:13 Almost had it.

1:09:15 Pumps gets another try.

1:09:18 Chokes up just a bit off the knob.

1:09:25 That's well outside. Helton wanted to

1:09:27 get him to chase.

1:09:41 Brett Helton goes right back to the

1:09:43 bender.

1:09:44 >> Got to revisit that velo conversation a

1:09:46 bit. You know, it's You're going

1:09:47 sidearm, your velo is going to drop, but

1:09:50 that throwing 99 in the sports doesn't

1:09:53 matter. It's more about how quickly I

1:09:55 can pitch to contact.

1:09:57 One pitch, one out, and a trick play for

1:09:59 my defense. That's ideal

1:10:00 >> ideal for these pitchers, and Brett

1:10:01 Helton has mastered the pitch to

1:10:02 contact.

1:10:05 >> Two the dealer goes to in a deuces wild

1:10:06 spot.

1:10:08 Helton kicks and fires. Parker, liner to

1:10:11 first. Swanny snags it out of the sky,

1:10:14 and we're still knotted up at ones

1:10:16 through three.

1:10:19 Really good defensive play from Jason

1:10:20 Swan. Party Animals keep this thing at

1:10:22 bay when it didn't seem like they would

1:10:24 as we go to the fourth.

1:10:29 >> with the coconut

1:10:30 >> So, CJ,

1:10:32 fans, we have a situation down on the

1:10:35 field right now. We have two beautiful

1:10:39 mermaids. One over here on the first

1:10:42 base side, and one over here on the

1:10:44 third base side. Now, we have one

1:10:47 problem. They're out of water. So, when

1:10:51 I say go, these beautiful mermaids will

1:10:54 flop their way to the kiddie pool behind

1:10:57 home.

1:10:58 The winner will be crowned the mermaid

1:11:01 of the game. Mermaids, are you ready?

1:11:04 In 3, 2, 1, flop!

1:11:09 Flop! Flop, mermaid, flop!

1:11:11 Who is it going to be?

1:11:14 The first base side mermaid!

1:11:22 Give it UP FOR YOUR MERMAID!

1:11:42 >> Mermaids are not supposed to move like

1:11:43 that.

1:11:44 >> No, I I like the CJ guy, too. Been a

1:11:46 great new addition to Banana Ball. 5'1",

1:11:49 has that that build, like that frame.

1:11:51 5'1", but 160 lb in the right places.

1:11:54 The dude's got his yolked. Hasn't

1:11:56 working out.

1:11:58 >> Yeah, he's putting on for all of our

1:11:59 short kings. On the other side, Joe

1:12:01 Filomeno putting on for the average

1:12:03 American. Two innings this season,

1:12:05 forgetful. He's issued four ball four

1:12:07 sprints, but Meatball's got parmesan on

1:12:10 top of his head and marinara surging

1:12:12 through his veins.

1:12:13 That tough part of this order, Bloomer,

1:12:15 Thomas Hampton, the three that are going

1:12:17 to have to duel with the former Texas

1:12:19 leaguer turned Long Gone Beach Coconut.

1:12:22 Farthest

1:12:23 >> Kites are supposed to be in the air.

1:12:24 >> Farty's doing his best out there.

1:12:27 >> Yeah, I'll give him a pass.

1:12:28 >> There's very little wind RIGHT NOW.

1:12:30 >> GOOD PLAY, SAL GIACOBBO! MEATBALL fills

1:12:33 up the zone. Giacobbo goes flying and

1:12:36 comes down with the Banana Ball.

1:12:40 That's what kites are supposed to do.

1:12:46 My goodness!

1:12:46 >> That's that vertical is crazy.

1:12:48 >> vacuum at second base. Spread those

1:12:51 wings and fly, salamander. There's one

1:12:53 away.

1:12:56 Oh, Joe Filomeno's got his stuff today.

1:12:58 I can see it in his eyes.

1:13:00 >> That's high, but

1:13:02 >> not when Meatball delivers it.

1:13:04 >> He gets the call.

1:13:06 >> Oh my gosh, he's got it going on. This

1:13:08 is scary.

1:13:09 >> incredibly nasty, by the way.

1:13:10 >> Took a 6-year break from pitching, guys.

1:13:14 AND HE DON'T CARE. THREE PITCHES, SLAP

1:13:17 THAT STOMACH. MEATBALL'S A BAD

1:13:20 MAN.

1:13:23 GOT TO GET SOME SPAGHETTI TO GO WITH

1:13:25 THAT STRIKEOUT.

1:13:27 >> Oh my gosh.

1:13:30 Got him with the heat. Thomas behind on

1:13:32 it.

1:13:33 I think he was still upset about that

1:13:34 first pitch strike call.

1:13:36 >> is gross. Filomeno has such good feel

1:13:38 for his stuff today.

1:13:40 This is what I've been wanting to see.

1:13:41 >> Are you leaving him out there if I'm

1:13:42 Crocco?

1:13:43 >> I I would, too. I mean, the Meatball is

1:13:45 dealing.

1:13:47 It's Mussey TV.

1:13:50 >> Oh, Meatball's calling a shot. He's

1:13:51 pointing at Reese Hampton.

1:13:52 >> Oh, goodness. That means he's throwing

1:13:54 the Meatball. Are you familiar with that

1:13:55 pitch?

1:13:56 >> Here it comes. The Meatball.

1:13:58 >> It's a middle-middle fastball, by the

1:14:00 way. And Hampton still couldn't catch up

1:14:02 to it, because that's how good Joe

1:14:03 Filomeno is.

1:14:11 >> Little high. 94 from Joe Filomeno on

1:14:14 that fastball.

1:14:16 >> Isn't that crazy?

1:14:17 >> That's Yeah.

1:14:18 >> After 6 years away from pitching, he can

1:14:19 still sit mid-90s.

1:14:21 >> Inhumane.

1:14:23 >> Fist foul.

1:14:26 Man, it is good for the sport when Joe

1:14:28 Meatball Filomeno is pitching like this.

1:14:32 My blood is thick.

1:14:35 >> Someone else's blood runs thicker.

1:14:40 >> Who?

1:14:41 >> Caden Bowlers blood runs thicker.

1:14:47 Nut.

1:14:48 >> Coco.

1:14:48 >> Nut on the ground.

1:14:50 Runs very thick.

1:14:53 First time we've seen one slip on

1:14:54 Filimoeatu. This is a good fight back

1:14:56 from Reese Hampton.

1:14:57 >> My freshman year high school girlfriend

1:14:58 was built like that.

1:15:01 >> Kind of like Nut?

1:15:04 >> They all had like a low center of

1:15:05 gravity.

1:15:06 >> What in the world?

1:15:08 >> Pretty impressive.

1:15:09 >> What was her name?

1:15:12 Nut?

1:15:15 Sorry, Nut.

1:15:17 Air jawed on a YouTube channel.

1:15:20 The kite's being flown in right.

1:15:23 Joe Filimoeatu misses low. Really good

1:15:25 fight from Reese Hampton to work this

1:15:27 spread.

1:15:28 He's going to hold up at first base

1:15:30 because the coconuts fall for spread

1:15:31 defense. Look for steam. And you can see

1:15:34 Fardy's kite. HE'S TRYING.

1:15:36 >> HE'S DOING HIS BEST. I THINK HE NEEDS TO

1:15:38 go the other way. The wind's blowing the

1:15:40 other way, Fardo.

1:15:42 >> I got a whiff of him this morning.

1:15:45 Can't say I want to be in a room with

1:15:46 him anytime soon.

1:15:50 Guess you don't get a name like Fardy

1:15:51 for no reason.

1:15:54 >> Smell like cupcakes?

1:15:56 >> High school girlfriend, strike one.

1:15:59 >> She's a great lady, man.

1:16:01 I would say high school girlfriend, just

1:16:02 freshman year.

1:16:06 >> Freshman year girlfriend.

1:16:07 >> Yeah, I couldn't doc her. I couldn't

1:16:08 give her name out. But, she's on

1:16:10 >> Is that her? Reaching up for the foul

1:16:12 ball? Oh, that can't be her. She would

1:16:14 have caught it.

1:16:16 >> She was a great softball player.

1:16:20 >> Runner goes. Hit and run. This is a

1:16:23 chance for the fans. Drake's high school

1:16:25 girlfriend out there somewhere, but not

1:16:28 with the banana ball.

1:16:29 >> The best catcher in the 5A West

1:16:31 in 2017.

1:16:34 >> All right. Now, if you really want to

1:16:35 know Drake's type, go Google that.

1:16:38 >> Good luck finding that one.

1:16:39 >> The O2.

1:16:41 Another one foul.

1:16:42 >> Takes some research.

1:16:46 And Joe Filomeno's for a guy who just

1:16:49 threw a ball four straight

1:16:50 >> Filling up the zone.

1:16:53 Don't know what meatballs.

1:16:57 For the 5A district softball team.

1:17:01 >> Nope, conference broke spine.

1:17:05 >> There's no conference team?

1:17:06 >> 5A West conference.

1:17:08 >> Utah's got to GET IT TOGETHER.

1:17:10 >> OH, MEATBALL. DO IT TO HIM.

1:17:13 OH, MAN, THE SHIRT'S OFF. THE SHIRT'S

1:17:15 OFF. The shirt's off. It's meatball.

1:17:18 It's Parmigiana. It's Marinara. And it's

1:17:21 a SECOND STRIKEOUT FOR JOE FILOMENO.

1:17:24 SLAM THE DOOR. It was never open.

1:17:26 Meatball keeps the PAs off the board and

1:17:30 the ballgame tied. Slap, clap, slap,

1:17:32 slap, slap. Meatball is back.

1:17:37 >> Out of your seats on your

1:17:40 >> It's time to hit, baby.

1:17:41 >> is now time for hey, BABY. LET'S GET

1:17:45 THOSE HANDS CLAPPING.

1:17:56 Here we go with hey, baby.

1:18:10 Once again,

1:18:24 little shuffle to the left,

1:18:27 to the right,

1:18:29 to the left,

1:18:31 to the right.

1:18:33 You got it.

1:18:38 Back to hey baby.

1:18:50 >> Oh, it's a mess up here and I love it.

1:18:55 >> I got to get out of here.

1:18:57 I never learned how to hey baby before.

1:18:59 They never taught me how to hey baby.

1:19:01 This is like my interpretive dance of

1:19:03 what I think hey baby should look like.

1:19:05 >> You are my co-host.

1:19:06 >> Well, I learned how to do it from you.

1:19:07 So, that's why

1:19:09 I've been eating Pop-Tarts, man. I've

1:19:11 been eating a lot of Pop-Tarts here and

1:19:12 out there.

1:19:13 >> Yeah, they got rid of your coconut

1:19:14 protein bar.

1:19:17 >> Yes, cuz they did they discontinued it.

1:19:19 They discontinued a lot of my favorite

1:19:20 things in this world.

1:19:23 Like Isuzu.

1:19:25 I can't tell if my heart's beating this

1:19:27 way because we just did that or

1:19:28 Meatball.

1:19:30 >> It's cuz your heart's beating that way

1:19:32 out of love.

1:19:33 >> Love for the game. Here comes big

1:19:35 timber.

1:19:39 We go from hey baby to Macarena.

1:19:41 Meatball to Helton.

1:19:43 >> It's first pitch.

1:19:44 >> It's just like

1:19:45 >> He's in there first strike.

1:19:46 >> of what two human beings can look like

1:19:48 between Meatball and Brett Helton.

1:19:58 Helton is just 6' 8"

1:20:01 109 lbs.

1:20:03 Meatball is not.

1:20:09 Toplin, foul.

1:20:11 I again, I'm Croco did it as the head

1:20:13 coach of the visitors. He would veer

1:20:15 from his pitching plan based on what

1:20:17 guys were just out there dealing.

1:20:19 I need more Joe Torre Amino in my life

1:20:21 tonight. Oh man, I'm ready for the meat.

1:20:25 I'm broke, but I'd pay every penny I had

1:20:27 for more Meatball. Oh, Toplin able to

1:20:29 pull it down the line. Helton throws his

1:20:31 glove in the air in frustration. It's

1:20:33 been that kind of season for the league

1:20:34 leader in doubles. He just added another

1:20:36 to his book bag. Dane Daulton batting

1:20:40 average continues to climb. Why not

1:20:42 another extra bagger for the best

1:20:44 athlete to ever wear number 23? That's

1:20:46 becoming less and less propaganda as the

1:20:48 season rolls on.

1:20:51 >> Right next to a guy who's now one and

1:20:53 one. He was one for one on the day.

1:20:55 Tanner Allen with a a double.

1:20:59 You know, I wasn't seeing Helton well.

1:21:05 Last night

1:21:07 Last night for dinner, you know, we

1:21:08 always eat dinner together as an

1:21:10 organization after these Savannah

1:21:11 Bananas ball games.

1:21:13 >> Hold up. Tanner Allen pokes it to the

1:21:15 left side. Helton tries a bare hand and

1:21:17 everybody's safe. Okay, go on.

1:21:20 >> Infield single to you?

1:21:22 >> Absolutely.

1:21:22 >> And so

1:21:25 On the menu that we get during the day,

1:21:27 you get the menu for that evening's uh

1:21:30 fillings.

1:21:31 Meat spread.

1:21:34 Who's to say what's in a meat spread?

1:21:40 I'm going to say it's something like

1:21:41 this.

1:21:42 Correct.

1:22:20 >> Really like that message.

1:22:23 Find happiness where you are. Make

1:22:24 someone smile every day. You'll never

1:22:26 die with any regrets. Here comes Jordan

1:22:28 Brewer sitting on a rainbow. Aw, that's

1:22:30 my line. But today I'm sitting on a

1:22:32 double rainbow, totally up for vesting,

1:22:35 smiling ear to ear.

1:22:36 It's contagious, guys. I'm telling you,

1:22:38 a smile is the most contagious disease

1:22:40 there is. You go out in the public and

1:22:42 just smile at people, it'll do wonders

1:22:44 for people's day.

1:22:45 >> Ebola was pretty bad.

1:22:47 >> Nothing close to a smile. Line drive

1:22:49 over to third. Sits Brewer right back

1:22:51 down and now something on the ground to

1:22:53 get Helton out of another jam. I mean,

1:22:54 Bloomer.

1:22:55 >> Yeah, save the money. That's all I can

1:22:57 say, Bloomer.

1:22:58 >> So I asked him, I said, "What is a meat

1:23:00 spread?" And the guy who schedules all

1:23:02 of our dinners, he said, "Oh, it's just

1:23:03 assorted meats."

1:23:06 It doesn't help me really at all.

1:23:08 >> It's a lot of meats out there.

1:23:09 >> Our dinner was good. Dinner was

1:23:10 incredible.

1:23:14 >> Eric Osberg

1:23:16 takes the first one.

1:23:18 Osberg from Massachusetts.

1:23:22 >> I think people misread him sometimes.

1:23:25 Yeah, he's a great clubhouse leader.

1:23:28 It's always that out of like masshole,

1:23:30 right? Like they're kind of intense

1:23:31 guys. You get Maybe don't get along with

1:23:33 them. No, Osberg is not like that.

1:23:36 >> Just a good dude.

1:23:37 >> He's like a papaya.

1:23:40 >> I don't know that this one's deep enough

1:23:41 to score Armotti from third. Let's see

1:23:43 if they want to test it. Hampton reels

1:23:45 it in. Henderson thought about going.

1:23:48 Holds up.

1:23:50 And look at this. Brett Helton now in

1:23:52 back-to-back innings has a chance to

1:23:54 really navigate some testy waters. It's

1:23:56 going to come down to a look against

1:23:57 Ashby Vining who's reached base in every

1:23:59 Banana Ball game he's played in in his

1:24:01 career.

1:24:03 >> And he'll sit down

1:24:05 Osberg for the second time today, over

1:24:07 two now. But again, super impressed with

1:24:09 what he's

1:24:10 brought to Banana Ball and especially in

1:24:12 the locker room with guys.

1:24:15 >> Stand-up dude. So is Ashby Vining, both

1:24:16 catchers.

1:24:18 Vining to short. Between the legs, not a

1:24:21 problem for A. J. Flips it to Ballard

1:24:23 and Brett Helton.

1:24:25 Have yourself a day. Not going to show

1:24:27 up in the box score, but man has he

1:24:29 worked himself out of a couple of really

1:24:31 tough jams.

1:24:32 >> Finnegan and Tell are getting old, too.

1:24:34 If we lose one of them here soon, Brett

1:24:35 Helton could step right in.

1:24:37 >> That's a great magician right there.

1:24:38 >> More on that next from BTV.

1:24:49 >> Our hometown heroes of the game.

1:24:57 We thank you for your service and

1:24:58 commitment to our great country.

1:25:04 TO OUR POLICE OFFICERS.

1:25:10 TO OUR FIREFIGHTERS.

1:25:14 To our nurses.

1:25:20 To our EMS workers.

1:25:24 To our dispatchers.

1:25:31 >> I might sound like I'm far away from my

1:25:33 microphone. That's because I'm holding

1:25:35 my headset to salute the troops. Great

1:25:37 moment here in Banana Ball. Headsets

1:25:40 off, hats are off, and Maddie is down on

1:25:43 the sideline. Looks like she's having a

1:25:45 ball at the beach.

1:25:46 >> Yeah, you know, Conway, South Carolina,

1:25:48 it's been so good to us. Mine is the

1:25:50 fact that they sent the three blondes

1:25:52 between you, me, and Drake here to just

1:25:54 get a little sunburn, but that's fine.

1:25:56 Before you guys headed up into the booth

1:25:57 and I headed down to the field to just

1:25:59 get progressively redder as the game

1:26:01 goes on. I had a chance to talk with

1:26:03 coach Mike Vavasseur before today's game

1:26:05 following last night's loss for the

1:26:07 Party Animals. And you know, credit

1:26:09 where credit's due, Vava gave the

1:26:11 Coconuts all the credit in the world. He

1:26:12 said, "Hey, they just played better than

1:26:15 us last night." Now, coming into today,

1:26:17 what he wants to see more of are timely

1:26:19 hits with runners in scoring position.

1:26:21 Especially with the coconuts being the

1:26:22 home team today, it's important more

1:26:24 than ever that the Party Animals get as

1:26:26 many runs on the board as they can at

1:26:28 the top of innings, especially when

1:26:30 you're playing against a team that put

1:26:31 up a five spot in an inning last night.

1:26:33 So, today it's a hard reset for the

1:26:35 team. He's switching up strategy a

1:26:36 little bit with arms in the circle, with

1:26:38 batters in the lineup, just to see if

1:26:40 there's something else that he can get

1:26:42 going today. So, the Party Animals are

1:26:43 out here playing their game, doing what

1:26:45 they do best. And the one thing that

1:26:48 Baba made sure to say was, "Hey, these

1:26:50 guys, at the end of the day, they are

1:26:52 athletes. This is what they do. Banana

1:26:54 Ball is their game. They care, and they

1:26:56 are out here to compete." So, we're

1:26:58 still locked step right now with a

1:26:59 one-one ball game, but Drake, AJ, let's

1:27:02 keep rocking.

1:27:03 >> Yeah, give me a weather check down

1:27:04 there. How we feeling?

1:27:05 >> Um you know, it's a little breezy, not

1:27:07 110° like AJ's liking to tell everybody,

1:27:10 but man, that sun, it feels pretty nice.

1:27:12 >> Yeah, it's starting to cool off a little

1:27:13 bit. I've got us at 107° now, right,

1:27:15 Matty?

1:27:16 >> Yeah, just about, I'd say.

1:27:17 >> There we go. The three blondes put

1:27:18 together. Love the sun. Will Ethridge

1:27:20 out on the mound now. Fresh base.

1:27:22 Three-two count. Skull's going to have

1:27:24 to try again.

1:27:28 Thanks, Matty. That was great.

1:27:30 >> Yeah, thank you, Matty.

1:27:32 All right. Thank you.

1:27:34 Good stuff.

1:27:36 Thanks, Matty.

1:27:38 Thanks, Matty.

1:27:40 Really good.

1:27:42 >> Full count. Skull, center field. Ben

1:27:44 Parker backtracking. Uh-oh, he's losing

1:27:46 it. It's over his head and one hopping

1:27:49 off of the wall. Jake Skull not stopping

1:27:51 at second. He's turning for third. He's

1:27:53 able to get there on his feet. It's a

1:27:55 lead-off triple for the reigning MVP to

1:27:58 dead center field and that 20-ft batters

1:28:01 eye.

1:28:03 >> You know,

1:28:04 it's not impossible that Ben Parker gets

1:28:07 to that, but he's playing in with a

1:28:09 three-two count cuz

1:28:12 anytime ball four is thrown, the entire

1:28:13 defense has to touch the ball. So,

1:28:15 you'll see defenders in the outfield

1:28:16 creep toward the infield, cheat a little

1:28:18 bit. It's what you're taught to do.

1:28:20 Parker does so, and that's over his

1:28:22 head.

1:28:23 That said, Scholl got so much of it, it

1:28:24 very well could have gone

1:28:26 in the book as a base hit, no matter

1:28:27 what, as Ashton Lansdell

1:28:30 steps to the plate.

1:28:32 Uh-oh, and here comes Danay Benitez to

1:28:34 catch. Let's go.

1:28:39 Drippy is joking on it.

1:28:41 Oh, Gasolina.

1:28:46 USPB L

1:28:49 Love the white catcher's gear from

1:28:51 Danay.

1:28:52 She's catching a guy who

1:28:55 at his height of his career had a turbo

1:28:57 sinker that would hit 96 and a half

1:28:59 miles an hour.

1:29:04 Athridge fills it up this time.

1:29:07 One's to Lansdell.

1:29:10 WPBL, these two competing.

1:29:14 Oh, nice take. Danay

1:29:18 a 1-2 here, huh? She's calling a good

1:29:20 game.

1:29:23 Danay clamps it. Strike three, and

1:29:26 Benitez gets the last laugh and the last

1:29:29 dance. Athridge does it with her, and

1:29:31 they're going to keep Benitez out there.

1:29:33 Why not? I like it. She's called a

1:29:35 really good at-bat against Ashton

1:29:37 Lansdell, and now she stays out to face

1:29:41 Jason Swan, who just had his 200th

1:29:43 career hit in his last time up.

1:29:47 The Women's Pro Baseball League, man,

1:29:49 it's it's a new era for women in

1:29:51 baseball, and Banana Ball getting to

1:29:52 steward that so cool. Danay Benitez,

1:29:55 Ashton Lansdell

1:29:57 names to know as far as women who are

1:30:00 changing the game in sports.

1:30:04 I'd venture to say not just sports,

1:30:05 either. Look at this, man. Denay, and

1:30:07 the way she commands

1:30:10 and AB is so impressive.

1:30:15 >> She's a great inspiration to so many.

1:30:17 Always has the longest line of young

1:30:19 boys and girls who want to meet her.

1:30:21 >> Yeah.

1:30:21 >> Proven women can do anything.

1:30:25 Now in a 3-1 spot, she calls a fastball

1:30:27 and it works again. Feels like her and

1:30:29 Etheridge are in lockstep right now.

1:30:31 >> That's cool.

1:30:36 >> Benitez is getting her first reps behind

1:30:38 the plate this year.

1:30:41 Act foul. We'll try it again.

1:30:53 The payoff.

1:30:56 Lined into left center down in front of

1:30:58 Tanner Allen.

1:31:00 It's a one-out single for Jason Swan

1:31:02 that brings in Jake Scholl and gives the

1:31:05 Party Animals a one-run advantage in the

1:31:07 fifth.

1:31:07 >> That's how good Jason Swan is, man. He

1:31:08 starts the weekend 0 for 4 with a ball

1:31:10 four sprint. 0 for 4 is a zero batting

1:31:13 average. Now he goes back-to-back ABs

1:31:15 with singles and he's hitting .333 on

1:31:17 the weekend. You're a Hall of Famer if

1:31:19 you do that for a career.

1:31:22 >> Andy Cosgrove

1:31:24 just gets out of the way of it. Skids by

1:31:27 Benitez.

1:31:28 >> But Denay got a bit crossed up there.

1:31:32 >> Cosgrove's had a good day as well.

1:31:40 Etheridge front doors the zone. That's

1:31:42 where he is going with his first spot.

1:31:46 Looking to keep the damage at just the

1:31:48 one run.

1:31:50 Former Rocky's farmhand has it shot into

1:31:52 right. Gideon Antal

1:31:54 stumbles picking up the banana ball. It

1:31:56 allows the runner to come home. Benitez

1:31:58 doesn't have a chance for a tag.

1:32:01 And it is now a two-run fifth inning for

1:32:03 the Party Animals.

1:32:09 >> Yeah, man. Ethridge looks so calm, so

1:32:11 confident.

1:32:17 Now in the four batters he's faced,

1:32:20 triple, couple singles,

1:32:23 couple runs home, and Janelle.

1:32:25 And Brony.

1:33:07 Let's get crazy, I guess. Bronson Ball

1:33:10 home comes to the plate.

1:33:14 Her signature walk-up.

1:33:20 Ethridge is just looking to get out of

1:33:22 the inning. Wow, Benitez just stole a

1:33:24 strike. That was a nice frame.

1:33:27 Brony one for one today with a ball

1:33:29 four, sprint as well, as you just saw.

1:33:32 >> Jeez.

1:33:34 >> Ethridge is cooking in this AB.

1:33:37 Just wonder if it's too little, too late

1:33:39 here in the fifth. Coconut showed last

1:33:41 night.

1:33:43 No lead insurmountable in any inning.

1:33:46 This is an explosive offense, but you

1:33:48 certainly don't want to have to ask them

1:33:51 to get more than the two runs.

1:33:53 It's up to Ethridge and Benitez, and And

1:33:55 it is. Called strike three. Today

1:33:58 helps Will to a frozen pizza.

1:34:02 Why not cook him right in the oven?

1:34:04 Two away. Let's get another look at it.

1:34:06 Oh.

1:34:07 Yep. Just right through the back door.

1:34:09 >> Absolutely.

1:34:15 >> Did go around. TJ Reeves, last time up,

1:34:18 bases loaded in front of him.

1:34:26 This time just the one on.

1:34:29 Help the Party Animals to their lone

1:34:31 point.

1:34:32 That walk-off earlier today.

1:34:35 Now he's got no strikes to play with.

1:34:38 Man, Benitez looks poised back there.

1:34:40 No surprise.

1:34:45 Puts in just as much work as the other

1:34:46 two catchers

1:34:48 on the Cooconut's, Eric Asberg, Ash

1:34:50 Revining. Always a treat to watch them

1:34:52 catch bullpens.

1:34:53 And that's going to do it for the top of

1:34:55 the fifth. Will Ethridge, another punchy

1:34:57 today. Benitez getting groovy behind the

1:34:59 plate. It's a three strikeout inning for

1:35:02 Ethridge, but the Party Animals played a

1:35:04 pair. Do the Cooconut's have some

1:35:06 answers up their palm sleeves?

1:35:09 We'll find out next.

1:35:17 >> Hey.

1:35:20 Conway, we all know that hard work pays

1:35:24 off. But in just a heartbeat or two, we

1:35:27 are going to prove to each and every one

1:35:29 of you that hard twerk pays off. We are

1:35:34 going to have ourselves a twerking

1:35:36 showdown, and you are going to decide

1:35:39 who twerked it out the hardest.

1:35:43 Introducing first, at 41 years old, SAM.

1:35:48 GET AFTER IT, SAM.

1:36:02 >> He is definitely in his element. Well

1:36:04 done, Sam. Introducing next at, and I'm

1:36:09 not making this up, 67 years old.

1:36:13 Give it up for Steve!

1:36:24 Get it, Steve!

1:36:29 Your poor knees. I'm so sorry.

1:36:32 Last, and certainly not least, at the

1:36:35 only number more fun than 67, 69 years

1:36:39 old, Diane!

1:36:41 Let her rip!

1:37:07 ALL RIGHT, CONWAY, THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

1:37:11 Who twerked it out the hardest? Was it

1:37:14 Sam?

1:37:17 Was it Steve?

1:37:20 WAS IT DIANE?

1:37:24 DIANE, YOU HAVE PROVEN THAT HARD twerk

1:37:26 pays off.

1:37:27 >> Well, I was going to say I hope my

1:37:29 professors aren't watching because I

1:37:31 probably shouldn't say twerk on air, but

1:37:33 then I remembered I'm not in school

1:37:35 anymore, and that's clearly allowed here

1:37:37 in Banana Ball based on what A.J. Curs

1:37:39 just said on the microphone.

1:37:40 >> He done He done said the only Hard Twerk

1:37:43 does pay off. It's the only number

1:37:44 better than 67.

1:37:46 >> Wow, all right. We're going to play in

1:37:48 ball like that. Today's been it's a dart

1:37:50 game.

1:37:51 >> What comes after 24?

1:37:55 >> 25.

1:38:08 >> I think we're starting to get it. This

1:38:10 weekend we've had Mark Crocco on the

1:38:12 microphone more than every other

1:38:14 combined.

1:38:15 Yeah, I could use a lot more of that

1:38:17 injected in my veins. That's an intro

1:38:19 for Caden Bowler who recorded his first

1:38:21 hit of the season at Petco Park. And

1:38:24 sees that one miss just a bit inside.

1:38:28 Also Fluke takes over on the hill. So

1:38:31 lots of moving parts.

1:38:33 Ooh.

1:38:35 Sean Fluke.

1:38:43 Oh man.

1:38:44 Double pass to still get Bowler in time.

1:38:48 >> Would be just one trick play there for

1:38:50 the Party Animals.

1:38:51 >> That's for the love of the game from

1:38:52 Acuff.

1:38:53 >> Yeah, Acuff he wanted to. He wanted to

1:38:54 go to Bowler and Bowler bounced it.

1:38:57 Acuff knowing he had a little bit of

1:38:58 extra time cuz Bowler was on the boogie

1:38:59 board.

1:39:00 That's Caden Bowler, man.

1:39:04 His blood runs thicker.

1:39:07 >> We got to look at what Sean Fluke's done

1:39:08 on the 2026 World Tour.

1:39:11 It's an efficient arm, showed it there.

1:39:15 Quickly gets Shot Tony stabbing it in a

1:39:18 hole.

1:39:21 I think I just got sunscreen in my eyes

1:39:22 somehow.

1:39:27 >> Hey, don't look now, boss man, but that

1:39:29 equalizer point Party Animals the

1:39:31 visiting team

1:39:33 they are squarely in position to add

1:39:35 another point to their day.

1:39:36 >> Don't worry, I'd look if I could, but

1:39:38 right eye is stuck closed.

1:39:40 >> What is going on with you?

1:39:42 >> Reeves trick play opportunity.

1:39:44 >> REEVES BEHIND THE BACK.

1:39:45 >> T.J. REEVES. The rookie

1:39:49 in right field.

1:39:52 >> Yeah, Party Animals have now eight trick

1:39:55 plays to the Coconuts three. They're an

1:39:57 out away from garnering a 2-1 lead. And

1:40:01 if the Coconuts can't come back in that

1:40:02 category, it would effectively be a 3-1

1:40:05 lead.

1:40:06 >> I know we we couldn't have seen it. Sean

1:40:07 Fluke faked to Jacobo like he was going

1:40:09 to roll the ball in the play, and Jacobo

1:40:11 faked laying down a bunt.

1:40:14 Some showmanship between two former

1:40:16 teammates. Jacobo partying with him last

1:40:18 year. Fluke is all smiles out there.

1:40:20 It's a good thing it was fake. Butting

1:40:22 gets you thrown out of the game in

1:40:23 Banana Ball.

1:40:24 >> Yeah.

1:40:26 I've talked about it, man. If you If

1:40:27 you're in a position where the other

1:40:29 team could win the equalizer in the

1:40:30 eighth,

1:40:31 you got a dude up there with four strike

1:40:33 outs. Have the guy bunt.

1:40:36 Jacobo hits it foul. Chance for the fan.

1:40:41 Ah.

1:40:42 Bring a glove.

1:40:43 >> We talked about it yesterday with uh

1:40:44 with Matty and and Bloomer and Baba and

1:40:49 the way this whole thing's built out

1:40:50 with the equalizer point. Sometimes

1:40:51 striking out isn't the worst thing in

1:40:52 the world. As Sean Fluke throws his

1:40:54 glove.

1:40:55 Fluke no glove. 1-2 pitch coming.

1:41:01 He went for it bare-handed instead. He's

1:41:03 got an eight-cup tornado to close out

1:41:05 the inning. Probably a good thing that

1:41:07 that one didn't get him on the bare

1:41:08 hand, but showmanship and an ninth trick

1:41:10 play helped the Party Animals to a 2-1

1:41:13 lead through five. To the top of the

1:41:15 sixth we go. They haven't been coined

1:41:17 the Comeback Coconuts for nothing. Let's

1:41:19 see what they've got going on after the

1:41:21 break.

1:41:38 >> Fortnight

1:42:42 >> Got Kyle Perry on the mound, Jordan

1:42:44 Brewer on the mic. Lots of fun to be

1:42:45 had. Jordan, we're happy to have you

1:42:47 back with the microphone. Look at we're

1:42:49 waving.

1:42:51 Hey, Jordan Brewer.

1:42:54 That's so good. Yes. How's Conway

1:42:57 treated you, my friend?

1:42:59 >> I mean, the sun's out now. I can't

1:43:00 complain.

1:43:01 >> Yeah.

1:43:02 Hotter or colder than 110° down there?

1:43:05 >> A lot colder.

1:43:06 >> A lot hotter. All right. Sounds like

1:43:08 it's 115 and counting down on the turf.

1:43:11 Comes Bryson Bloomer.

1:43:14 Jordan, last night everything was going

1:43:16 the Coconut's way.

1:43:19 >> Oh, yeah.

1:43:20 >> Is it fun to play here?

1:43:22 >> I feel like well, we have a good group

1:43:23 of dudes out here, man. It's uh

1:43:26 a couple of vets out here and then a

1:43:27 couple of a lot of rookies out here. Old

1:43:29 rookies, is what say.

1:43:31 Uh but we're starting to like actually

1:43:32 get banana ball and understanding

1:43:34 instead of actually just playing

1:43:35 baseball. And we're three

1:43:39 Feels pretty good.

1:43:40 >> Well

1:43:41 just feel a little bit.

1:43:43 >> Come on.

1:43:43 >> Four pitch sprint from Perry.

1:43:45 >> I'm here.

1:43:48 >> Going to hold it first, Jordan. Don't

1:43:49 worry about it. You explain to the

1:43:50 viewers at home why you yelled three

1:43:52 there.

1:43:53 >> So, we got three balls. You get four,

1:43:55 it's a ball four sprint. We don't walk

1:43:56 on three.

1:43:57 Walking is boring.

1:43:59 And a

1:44:00 >> Fun fact, me and Brewer went to school

1:44:01 together.

1:44:01 >> Yeah. You tell

1:44:03 You tell I was lucky to play with this

1:44:05 guy for a year.

1:44:07 Yeah.

1:44:08 He's my guy.

1:44:10 We've been through everything together.

1:44:12 You wouldn't believe the things we've

1:44:14 seen and done.

1:44:16 >> Why can't Favors chug in silence?

1:44:18 >> the prison yard when the wind blew from

1:44:20 the prison to the baseball field.

1:44:22 >> That is true.

1:44:22 >> Wow.

1:44:23 >> That is true.

1:44:24 >> The prison yard?

1:44:25 >> Yep, that is true. True story.

1:44:26 >> I hope you didn't spend a lot of time

1:44:28 over there, Jordan.

1:44:30 >> Only once.

1:44:31 >> Okay, good. Sloppy Joe night at the

1:44:33 county jail.

1:44:35 Jordan, you mentioned adjusting from

1:44:37 baseball to banana ball like rookies and

1:44:39 how that adjustment goes. What do you

1:44:41 mean by that? What do you truly have to

1:44:42 adjust to in this sport?

1:44:44 >> Uh the speed.

1:44:45 >> Yeah.

1:44:45 >> It's a lot faster. You don't have time

1:44:46 to think about anything once you start

1:44:48 honestly the best mistake in your life.

1:44:50 Um

1:44:51 pro ball you know how it is. You get

1:44:52 back and you get

1:44:53 you go straight to the iPad, right?

1:44:55 Everyone goes to the iPad, look at your

1:44:56 swing. You don't have time for that. You

1:44:58 don't have time to think about pitches

1:44:59 coming at you. You just got to get in

1:45:00 there and swing the bat.

1:45:02 It's a beautiful thing. Watch this. He's

1:45:04 about to hit a backflip. He's about to

1:45:05 hit a backflip. He's about to HIT A

1:45:06 BACKFLIP. OH, HE CAUGHT IT THOUGH.

1:45:09 >> Jordan Brewer

1:45:11 I mean, do you guys speak

1:45:13 Well, I don't even know what the term

1:45:14 is. I was going to say psychopathically,

1:45:16 but I don't think that's the right term.

1:45:18 >> No, it's not.

1:45:19 >> Telepathically. How did you know that

1:45:21 was coming?

1:45:22 >> I you could just tell by his setup.

1:45:24 Look how wide that dude is. You could

1:45:25 tell when he gets set up he's going to

1:45:27 do something.

1:45:27 >> I was teeing you up to say that it was

1:45:29 telepathic.

1:45:31 But, it's really just good feel for the

1:45:33 game. One down, runner on second.

1:45:35 Bloomer is out.

1:45:37 >> Wait, why?

1:45:39 Why?

1:45:39 >> Yeah, I don't know.

1:45:42 I don't know.

1:45:43 >> Hey, go back to the dugout, dude. We

1:45:44 don't know why, but you can go back.

1:45:46 >> You should tell whoever's got the ball

1:45:48 to tag him.

1:45:49 Who has the ball? Oh, Kiffy has the

1:45:51 ball?

1:45:52 I don't know what happened.

1:45:53 >> Nope. Bloomer is on out after the

1:45:56 umpires met with the right field ump,

1:45:57 strange, and said, "No, incorrect."

1:46:01 Very strange.

1:46:03 >> How do I look to you up there though,

1:46:04 huh? How you guys doing up there?

1:46:05 >> Oh, man, I'm sitting on a rainbow today,

1:46:07 a double rainbow.

1:46:08 >> Good.

1:46:08 >> Isn't it crazy it's so cold today? It's

1:46:11 warmed up, which is nice, but it started

1:46:13 so cold today.

1:46:14 >> Oh, the

1:46:15 the

1:46:16 >> Oh, that's what happened.

1:46:17 >> away.

1:46:18 >> Jordan, you went fishing in the ocean,

1:46:19 right?

1:46:20 >> I tried.

1:46:22 I went pod fishing.

1:46:23 >> Well,

1:46:24 oh, boy. Slam the door, Kyle Perry. Take

1:46:27 it down while you're at it, but Jordan,

1:46:30 I was there, and it looked like you were

1:46:31 fishing with a drone.

1:46:33 >> That's right.

1:46:34 >> What?

1:46:34 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. You got to change it

1:46:36 up, you know? I was over four, went four

1:46:38 times over, and I'm like, you know what?

1:46:40 I'm pulling out everything. I had a

1:46:42 drone

1:46:43 I hadn't really used that much. I'm

1:46:44 like, you know what? I always wanted to

1:46:45 try drone fishing.

1:46:47 So, I hooked up my Up north, we have

1:46:50 downriggers,

1:46:51 and when a fish gets onto it, like the

1:46:53 line will snap off. I'm like, All right,

1:46:55 so I hooked Had one of those hanging

1:46:56 from the drone,

1:46:58 and uh with our line on it, and then

1:47:01 uh-oh, uh-oh, graveyard, graveyard, come

1:47:03 on. Catch it, catch it.

1:47:05 And uh

1:47:07 I had TA hold the reel

1:47:09 on the pole, and I took the drone about

1:47:10 100 200 yd out, and he was able to yank

1:47:12 it off.

1:47:14 And it wouldn't fall off, and it almost

1:47:15 took out my drone. I was screaming. I'm

1:47:17 like, "TA, stop, stop, stop." But,

1:47:20 I still got my drone.

1:47:23 >> Wow, that's awesome. Drone fishing.

1:47:25 Jordan Brewer, a man of many talents. We

1:47:27 love you, man.

1:47:28 >> I love you guys. Stay safe up there.

1:47:30 >> COME BACK COCONUTS COMING UP NEXT.

1:47:41 I'm on the first baseline standing by

1:47:42 with Doug and Laura who have been

1:47:45 together for 12 years. CJ, who you got

1:47:48 on the third baseline?

1:47:49 >> Over here we have Crystal and Mark and

1:47:52 they've been together for 20 years. And

1:47:55 what we're about to do is a game that we

1:47:57 would normally call leapfrog. But

1:48:00 because we're here in Conway, we're

1:48:03 calling it senior frogs. So, these

1:48:06 couples are going to be hopping over

1:48:08 each other one at a time. And whoever

1:48:11 gets to home first wins. We got some

1:48:15 seasoned veterans on this side. AJ, I

1:48:17 think we're going to win over here.

1:48:18 >> Yeah, I bet you do. Well, I think we're

1:48:20 going to win over here. So, let's settle

1:48:22 this. CONWAY, HELP ME COUNT IT DOWN. 3 2

1:48:27 1 GO! JUMP. JUMP. JUMP. OH, YEAH. OH,

1:48:32 YEAH. This is already going way BETTER

1:48:34 THAN I THOUGHT.

1:48:36 >> We got speed over here.

1:48:40 >> Oh, it's going to be close. THEY'RE

1:48:41 GOING TO HAVE TO CATCH UP.

1:48:44 OH, WE GOT A WINNER.

1:48:47 >> GIVE IT UP FOR YOUR SENIOR FROG

1:48:49 CHAMPIONS, Mark and Crystal.

1:49:06 >> And no seniors were hurt in the making

1:49:09 of senior frogs.

1:49:11 CJ, man, does a really good job of

1:49:13 commanding the microphone. 5 ft even.

1:49:16 But dude, small package, big bite. That

1:49:19 guy is

1:49:21 charismatic as all get out. Great

1:49:22 addition to Banana Ball.

1:49:23 >> Speaking of big bite, man, I spent that

1:49:26 time between innings drone fishing. Not

1:49:29 as easy as Jordan Brewer made it out to

1:49:30 be. I'll get back to you. I've currently

1:49:32 got a drone flying towards Australia

1:49:34 just sweeping a lure. Hoping to come up

1:49:36 with a few fish by the time it

1:49:38 gets land bound.

1:49:39 >> What they called me in high school.

1:49:42 >> A drone fisher sweeping a lure.

1:49:45 >> Oh, wow.

1:49:47 >> That's funny cuz that's my gamer tag.

1:49:50 >> Gumby?

1:49:52 >> I'd do it for Meth.

1:49:56 >> Greg Jennings, man. Darren Sharper. One

1:49:58 of the great plays in NFL history.

1:50:01 >> Broke his leg and he was still going.

1:50:02 Gideon Antal. Slow roller. Here comes

1:50:05 Jay Jay Cuff on the charge. He's safe.

1:50:07 Gideon Antal. Giddy up. Off to the

1:50:10 races, but look out. The man on the

1:50:11 mound wants a challenge. Will we get it?

1:50:15 >> Val Ammar says yes. He says, "All right,

1:50:17 let's go to the headset here."

1:50:18 >> All right, we're going to need another

1:50:19 look. It's a tight play.

1:50:21 >> I had out on the old eye dar, but that's

1:50:25 not doesn't count for anything.

1:50:28 >> He I think he's out.

1:50:30 >> Let's see the slow down just a little

1:50:32 bit more.

1:50:33 >> Oh.

1:50:35 >> Yep. Absolutely. It's an out.

1:50:38 >> This will be reversed.

1:50:40 >> That's great angle right there, too,

1:50:41 guys. Thank you.

1:50:43 >> Yep.

1:50:43 >> Looks like yeah. Beat him by

1:50:44 >> a literal tenth of a second.

1:50:46 >> is there before the foot gets down.

1:50:48 >> Quarter of a step. Gideon Antal, great

1:50:50 hustle play from Antal. He did the

1:50:51 classic. He

1:50:52 steps on the bag and then says, "Safe."

1:50:55 >> He's out.

1:50:57 >> All right. So, that's a change of

1:50:59 events. Again, the Party Animals were

1:51:01 scoreless in the top of the sixth. So,

1:51:03 any run would tie this game for the

1:51:05 Comeback Coconuts. But instead of a

1:51:07 runner on and nobody away, bases are

1:51:09 vacant and there's one down for Ben

1:51:11 Pumps Parker, who has a rare over game

1:51:14 going.

1:51:15 See if he can't change that. Still

1:51:17 looking to run into his first home run

1:51:18 this season. You know it's a matter of

1:51:20 time with arms and legs like that.

1:51:22 >> Yeah, the guy is got a 513 OBP this

1:51:25 year.

1:51:26 >> So, he'll be on base today.

1:51:28 >> He's built like four CJs.

1:51:35 >> Nate Tellier 2-2.

1:51:39 6-2 2-2. 6th inning, second batter,

1:51:42 second pitch.

1:51:46 And this is high.

1:51:49 Tellier [ __ ] his head and says,

1:51:53 "I liked where that pitch was, Mr.

1:51:55 Gonzalez."

1:51:58 Parker with that signature open stance,

1:52:01 spits.

1:52:11 Three balls.

1:52:13 Parker's got to see something he really

1:52:15 likes, and that wasn't it. But now

1:52:16 anything's in play. Hitter-friendly 3-1

1:52:18 spot

1:52:19 with Toplin in the on-deck circle.

1:52:24 Pomp slashes it foul.

1:52:27 That one's headed for the parking lot.

1:52:30 Looks like it evaded all the

1:52:31 windshields.

1:52:32 Rocco's catching a vibe.

1:52:34 >> White Nissan Maxima with Arkansas

1:52:35 plates. They They've got that sucker

1:52:37 pretty clearly.

1:52:38 >> No, that one's back in your garage.

1:52:39 Let's not lie on TV.

1:52:41 >> I would never lie on television.

1:52:45 Especially about my ninth-grade

1:52:46 girlfriend. Not.

1:52:50 >> Think you should rekindle that

1:52:51 relationship.

1:52:52 >> It was when I was in ninth grade, by the

1:52:54 way. We were both in ninth grade.

1:52:57 >> Rekindle the flame. It's that new

1:52:59 Netflix series or whatever. Drake Tollin

1:53:01 is exes. Ben Parker going to have to

1:53:04 really raise this one out, but Babers

1:53:08 Why did Babers have to go between the

1:53:10 legs?

1:53:11 >> I think you're thinking of

1:53:13 heated rivalry. You get your shows mixed

1:53:15 up.

1:53:19 >> Oh, goodness.

1:53:20 >> I like it for the storyline.

1:53:24 >> Okay.

1:53:26 I'll be honest, I've never seen that one

1:53:28 by choice, but

1:53:30 anything Drake does, I do better, so I

1:53:32 got some watching it twice.

1:53:36 >> Are you in it?

1:53:38 >> Well, I'm 21, I think he's a

1:53:39 21-year-old.

1:53:42 Yeah, he's an honorary 21-year-old for

1:53:45 the weekend.

1:53:46 >> Never graduate.

1:53:49 >> Yeah, college forever.

1:53:53 02, Animal House, Mrs. I.

1:53:57 >> Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, with

1:53:59 Dane Toplin. Indiana State, the

1:54:01 Sycamores, Frontier League, Pioneer

1:54:03 League, now right here in Savannah

1:54:04 Bananas.

1:54:08 >> From Alberta, Canada, Earth

1:54:11 to Conway, South Carolina, to Babers'

1:54:14 glove and his bare hand, but Swanny

1:54:16 can't get it behind the back. That could

1:54:18 be costly. Already up by six trick

1:54:21 plays, no need to go for it there other

1:54:23 than the love for the game, and it

1:54:25 extends the frame due to a good hustle

1:54:27 from Toplin, who's being replaced on the

1:54:29 bases by the designated runner, Armani

1:54:31 Henderson.

1:54:32 >> And I I I I

1:54:33 don't blame Swanny for trying the

1:54:35 fourth. When you're up by six trick

1:54:36 plays,

1:54:38 you don't have to have them. You're

1:54:39 already getting the one from Baber, and

1:54:41 now you're at the three holes, Tanner

1:54:42 Allen, who's two for two.

1:54:46 >> See if TA can build something here.

1:54:50 Double would likely walk off this

1:54:51 inning. He's already done it once today.

1:54:54 >> It's so hard as a pitcher, too. Telly

1:54:56 just thought the inning was over. He's

1:54:57 walking to the dugout. It's done. It's

1:54:59 it. And now he's going to stand back out

1:55:01 there and face

1:55:02 one of these hot new hitters in Banana

1:55:04 Ball in TA.

1:55:06 Mississippi State legend.

1:55:09 Tanner Allen told me pregame, he once

1:55:11 caught a catfish 113 lb.

1:55:15 What can't he do?

1:55:16 >> Yeah, he was on the shores of a lake in

1:55:18 northern Minnesota

1:55:21 doing some ice fishing.

1:55:24 Said early February of 2018.

1:55:29 Vacation to the land of 10,000 lakes in

1:55:31 northern Minnesota.

1:55:33 >> I never know when you're telling the

1:55:34 truth or not. I'm going to guess that's

1:55:36 real.

1:55:39 Based on that look, I no longer think it

1:55:41 is. I should have realized there was no

1:55:42 such thing as a catfish that's 113 lb.

1:55:44 That's on me.

1:55:45 >> I mean, yes, there absolutely is. Wendy

1:55:47 and Greg Allen are listening. They're

1:55:48 watching right now. They can tell you to

1:55:50 corroborate the story.

1:55:55 Corroborate that.

1:55:57 Mississippi State Bulldog. Great caliber

1:56:00 baseball program in Starkville.

1:56:02 Similar to that of the Coastal Carolina

1:56:03 Chanticleers. National runner-up at

1:56:06 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska

1:56:08 in 2025.

1:56:10 Brett Helton gives a couple one-two

1:56:12 puncheroos to Allen.

1:56:15 Deuces wild. Tarps are off. TA to right.

1:56:19 Jake Scholl can't track it down. Armani

1:56:22 Henderson's got to get ON HIS HORSE.

1:56:24 HERE COMES THE RELAY from Babers. Oh

1:56:26 god. OH IT GOT BY.

1:56:27 IT GOT BY. MY GOODNESS. WE HAVE A TIED

1:56:30 BALL GAME. IT GOT THROUGH THE FIVE HOLE.

1:56:33 BRONSON BALL HOM COULDN'T BRING IT IN

1:56:36 AND WE'RE TIED 2-2. TANNER ALLEN WALKS

1:56:39 IT OFF. THE LEAGUE LEADER with now four

1:56:42 of them. OH, ARMANI HENDERSON was dead

1:56:46 to rights, BUT INSTEAD IT'S A KICK SAVE

1:56:49 and not a beauty. THE COCONUTS ARE GOING

1:56:52 LOCO. It's a 2-2 game. What are we

1:56:55 doing?

1:56:57 >> Trick play missed into that. Henderson's

1:57:00 gunned down by

1:57:02 10 12 ft.

1:57:06 And

1:57:07 the Coconut's have now tied this game

1:57:09 two points apiece. Comedy of errors in

1:57:12 that inning. Matty Warren's got a

1:57:13 coconut down on the field.

1:57:16 >> Hey guys, I've got Ozzy Albisminski with

1:57:18 me and I hear you spent just a little

1:57:20 bit of time in Myrtle Beach, but you've

1:57:22 been kind of around South Carolina a

1:57:23 little bit. Can you tell me how much

1:57:25 time you spent here and where you've

1:57:26 been?

1:57:26 >> Well, first I was definitely very

1:57:28 blessed to be here in Myrtle Beach for a

1:57:29 small stint with the Myrtle Beach

1:57:30 Pelicans. So, I had a lot of fun here

1:57:32 when I was here.

1:57:33 Um but I lived 4 years in Hilton Head,

1:57:35 South Carolina all through middle

1:57:36 school, freshman year of high school. I

1:57:38 love the low country.

1:57:40 Um

1:57:42 It's never a dull moment at Loco Beach.

1:57:45 Um no, I I just love the South. You

1:57:46 know, kid from Atlanta, but I spent a

1:57:48 lot of time in South Carolina. So, um

1:57:50 it's really good to be back.

1:57:51 >> Love it. Uh can we get a little Loco

1:57:53 Beach going for us right now?

1:57:54 >> What?

1:57:55 >> Can we get a little Loco Beach?

1:57:56 >> Bringing the beach to you. Never forget

1:57:59 it.

1:57:59 >> You heard him.

1:58:02 >> Bringing the beach to you and going

1:58:03 loco, baby. Why not? Comeback Coconut's

1:58:07 in full effect. They've got some magical

1:58:09 power on their side, I'll tell you. No

1:58:11 business getting that run in the sixth,

1:58:13 but sometimes it's better to be lucky

1:58:16 than good. Keegan James can tell you all

1:58:18 about it because he's really good and

1:58:20 just needs a little luck on his side to

1:58:21 get by Jake Skull.

1:58:23 >> It's better to be loco than good, huh?

1:58:26 It's better to be loco than anything.

1:58:27 >> I thought it would be fun to have the

1:58:29 Coco Beach Loconuts, but I was shot down

1:58:31 pretty quickly in that conversation.

1:58:34 >> Jake Skull.

1:58:36 Fans can't shut him down quickly. That

1:58:37 can't take him out.

1:58:38 >> on the berm, yeah. Let's be paying

1:58:40 attention. That's 104 off the bat.

1:58:46 If you catch that in the berm as a fan,

1:58:49 that's lifetime contract stuff.

1:58:51 >> Yeah, welcome to the team immediately.

1:58:57 James quickly up 0-2 against the

1:58:59 reigning MVP. It's the heart of the

1:59:01 order due up for the Party Animals in

1:59:02 the seventh, Skol, Ballard, and Swan.

1:59:05 Swan's trick play missed in the sixth

1:59:08 directly led to this being a tie ball

1:59:10 game.

1:59:11 Through a few mental errors, the Party

1:59:13 Animals look to get it right back.

1:59:16 It's a small step in that direction with

1:59:17 Keegan James missing up and out.

1:59:21 Can the Cardiac Coconuts pull off

1:59:24 ANOTHER COMEBACK?

1:59:27 OH, YEAH! KEEGAN JAMES, FILTHY.

1:59:31 SAYS, "Smell ya. I'll just run it right

1:59:33 by you." It's a Louisiana strikeout for

1:59:37 number 12.

1:59:39 Just dipped underneath that his bat, and

1:59:42 there's one away. Again,

1:59:44 Party Animals have a six trick play

1:59:46 advantage. So, barring a miracle, they

1:59:48 are effectively up 3-2.

1:59:50 >> Yeah.

1:59:51 Great note.

1:59:52 >> Vastly important that Keegan James keeps

1:59:54 them off the board in the seventh.

1:59:55 >> Yep.

2:00:02 >> Righty on righty.

2:00:03 >> Man, James is looking good today, man.

2:00:05 This staff came to pitch this weekend.

2:00:09 And I guess Ashby Bining came to torque.

2:00:13 >> Bat sticks on the board. Make it a 1-2

2:00:16 count unless this one's corralled.

2:00:18 Not much of a chance. That one caught up

2:00:20 in the saltwater skies and sun.

2:00:24 Another 1-2 spot for KJ.

2:00:32 Up and in. Buzzed the tower. That's some

2:00:34 chin music for Ballard.

2:00:35 >> So, that's the KJ they've been talking

2:00:37 about.

2:00:37 >> Yeah.

2:00:38 Oh, I like this. Cool look. Head-to-head

2:00:41 match-up. Right on right. Keegan James

2:00:45 gets him to go. Dane Toplin dives. Does

2:00:48 he have the arm to get there? No. It's

2:00:50 an infield single for Michael Baller.

2:00:54 >> Tophlin was staring down the barrel of

2:00:55 one of the best baseball plays you'll

2:00:56 see in our sport.

2:00:59 Great diving stop at third. Didn't have

2:01:02 a lot of time for the throw. Rushed it a

2:01:04 bit. It was off the bag and Baller is

2:01:05 now two for three tonight.

2:01:09 Mikey man.

2:01:11 Came in batting .318. That'll tick up a

2:01:13 few notches.

2:01:15 Jason Swan

2:01:17 garnered career hit 200 in his last time

2:01:20 up.

2:01:23 That one stroked to center. Ben Parker

2:01:26 backtracking. Runs into the wall.

2:01:30 Baller hustles back to first.

2:01:34 Keegan James winds up with the ball

2:01:36 himself. No need for a cutoff.

2:01:38 And here comes the hottest new bombshell

2:01:40 to the villa.

2:01:42 Andy Cosgrove. He could pick up the

2:01:44 single cycle.

2:01:47 While he is

2:01:49 happily engaged, three singles today.

2:01:52 Could grab number four here.

2:01:55 Nope.

2:01:57 See what Ashby Vining's got up his

2:01:58 sleeve.

2:02:00 Does it the old fashioned way, oh man.

2:02:03 And fans get a front row seat to the

2:02:04 best hair and banana ball trailing only

2:02:06 me. WE GO TO THE MIDDLE OF the seventh.

2:02:08 An 8-2 to ballgame. Ashby Vining helps

2:02:11 his pitcher get out of the inning. Can

2:02:13 the Coconuts pick up point number three?

2:02:16 I sure think they can. Cardiac comeback

2:02:19 Coconuts at the dish when we're back.

2:02:26 >> To get up out of your seats, on your

2:02:30 feet, get those hands in the air and get

2:02:33 them swaying back and forth as we all

2:02:36 join in together to sing don't stop

2:02:40 believing.

2:02:44 >> Just sing

2:04:08 Give it to him, Jonathan.

2:04:10 Don't stop believing.

2:04:38 Look at that.

2:04:40 An unlikely crew, Kyle Perry and Shawn

2:04:42 Fluke.

2:04:43 >> Kyle Perry's about four cheeseburgers

2:04:45 away though from being right there and

2:04:46 that he's he's

2:04:48 Does Shawn Fluke have a little

2:04:49 doppelganger thing going on? Where's the

2:04:51 server? Give me another cheeseburger.

2:04:52 >> Ryan Rodriguez takes the mound.

2:04:57 Ryan Rodriguez has had himself a start

2:05:01 to the show.

2:05:02 Three innings, one run up allowed. And

2:05:06 now he's got four, five, and six

2:05:09 trying to keep them at bay in this

2:05:11 Coconuts order. Here comes Jordan

2:05:12 Brewer, newly at bat.

2:05:16 Rinly Ray tuning in from home.

2:05:19 >> This is a massive spot for Ryan

2:05:21 Rodriguez. So really excited to see how

2:05:23 he

2:05:25 comes alive in this moment.

2:05:29 >> Brewer had other plans with that swing,

2:05:31 but this one's high in the air. Back at

2:05:33 the track, just doesn't have the juice

2:05:36 to leave the yard.

2:05:38 Ran into it, but didn't have the

2:05:40 trajectory you're looking for on a

2:05:41 typical home run. T.J. Reeves has been a

2:05:43 busy man in left field today.

2:05:45 >> Yeah, he has.

2:05:46 >> Eric Gosper

2:05:48 much like Jordan Brewer has the pop and

2:05:50 prowess to leave the yard at any given

2:05:52 moment. One here would give the Coconuts

2:05:54 a 3-2 lead.

2:05:59 Gosper takes.

2:06:02 >> Rodriguez is a guy who has

2:06:04 completely revamped his game in 2026.

2:06:06 Been so good.

2:06:09 Had an ERA around 10 last year.

2:06:12 This season, three innings pitched, an

2:06:14 ERA of of three.

2:06:18 Three strike outs as well.

2:06:21 >> Gosper, towering

2:06:24 right center field.

2:06:27 Hampton brings it in. A couple

2:06:30 well-hit balls that stay in the yard

2:06:32 that you know yesterday probably do get

2:06:35 out with the way the wind was blowing

2:06:36 but today it's opposite it's coming in

2:06:38 from center.

2:06:39 >> Yeah, not last night but yeah yesterday

2:06:41 at 2:40 p.m. Eastern time absolutely

2:06:44 those two are way out of here.

2:06:50 >> Two down Ashby Vining.

2:06:54 You know extend that on base streak he's

2:06:56 over two today.

2:07:01 >> Now here's a guy if he squares one up.

2:07:05 >> Jim now here's a guy.

2:07:09 >> You're mixing Collins words around.

2:07:10 >> That's going to get you feeling some

2:07:12 KIND OF WAY

2:07:14 ASHBY VINING CHICKEN CHALUPA power one

2:07:17 one spot.

2:07:18 >> I don't know Jim.

2:07:20 >> I do know.

2:07:21 I know well the fans have a chance.

2:07:25 Not really that one's over the

2:07:26 concourse.

2:07:27 >> Holy man Ashby Vining boarding animal

2:07:29 killer league he's a visitor last year

2:07:31 he could put one out.

2:07:33 Ryan Rodriguez stands in his way.

2:07:40 >> One two plunks him.

2:07:42 Ooh.

2:07:45 Gonzalez said that Ashby Vining.

2:07:51 He's going to call that a ball.

2:07:54 No effort to get out of the way.

2:07:55 >> it was no effort to get out of the way

2:07:56 either clipped his bat or there was no

2:07:58 effort for him to move out of the way.

2:07:59 >> Oh

2:08:00 I see it now yeah.

2:08:01 >> Yep Gonzalez says hey you you may or may

2:08:03 not have leaned into that a little bit.

2:08:06 >> That's honor he'll benefit by getting a

2:08:07 ball there. Deuces are so wild right now

2:08:09 don't look at the scoreboard if you're

2:08:11 afraid of twos. Those terrible twos what

2:08:13 makes them so terrible I think they're

2:08:15 terrific.

2:08:17 >> Also alliteration.

2:08:20 >> What I do?

2:08:21 Alliteration's a big word.

2:08:25 It's It's big spot payoff Vining able to

2:08:28 stall it up. Why aren't we running the

2:08:30 first though? Here we go.

2:08:31 >> what just happened here? Rodriguez

2:08:33 throws the ball in the center field.

2:08:36 >> Ashby probably could have got to third

2:08:38 on that, but that was just confusion

2:08:40 front to back.

2:08:42 >> Yeah, I don't I don't know what just

2:08:44 happened. I'm not sure exactly what we

2:08:45 saw.

2:08:46 >> Well,

2:08:47 in other news, the on base streak is now

2:08:49 14 for Ashby Vining dating back to his

2:08:51 time with the visitors.

2:08:55 Longest active streak on Logo Beach, and

2:08:58 it brings up Brady Morgan, the

2:08:59 designated hitter.

2:09:01 Rubbed his head this morning.

2:09:03 He told me Logo Beach was getting a

2:09:05 sweep. It's a Party Animals team that

2:09:07 hasn't been swept since their series in

2:09:09 Baton Rouge last August.

2:09:12 >> Yep, against the Texas Tailgaters.

2:09:18 >> I brought my broom

2:09:20 specifically for this moment.

2:09:24 And I'm not Harry Potter. I don't ride

2:09:26 broomsticks. They're specifically for

2:09:27 sweeping.

2:09:30 Lots of sand could use swept up in this

2:09:32 press box. Morgan looks to help that

2:09:35 effort all mad. If that's straightened

2:09:36 out, it's gone. Instead,

2:09:39 hits a foul tank.

2:09:42 >> A lot of power in that bat of Brady

2:09:43 Morgan. Record-breaking power.

2:09:52 >> Morgan swings at one that got him on the

2:09:54 back

2:09:55 >> foot.

2:09:57 >> Take me through there.

2:10:00 >> Take me higher.

2:10:01 Morgan had the longest home run in

2:10:03 college baseball a couple years ago.

2:10:07 He's got a hold of

2:10:12 >> Vining's trying to steal second.

2:10:14 Morgan popped up to right.

2:10:19 Skull

2:10:21 trots in and closes out the seventh.

2:10:23 We've got a tie ball game, deuce deuce,

2:10:25 but the Party Animals are cruising in

2:10:28 equalizer territory. The newest rule in

2:10:30 Banana Ball is going to have a big

2:10:32 effect on this game. You see the trick

2:10:33 plays 10 to 4. That means after the

2:10:36 eighth, the Party Animals will have

2:10:38 three points. So, Loco Beach going to

2:10:40 need to play some defense and throw some

2:10:42 strikes here in the eighth.

2:11:47 >> Now pitching for the Party Animals,

2:11:58 >> Well, they call him dual threat Brett. I

2:12:00 think he just showed he's got a triple

2:12:01 threat in him. Walks out to the mound in

2:12:04 style. Brett Carson is everywhere,

2:12:06 everything all at once. One and 0 this

2:12:09 season, three innings averaging them in

2:12:12 under 4 minutes a piece. He's got a

2:12:14 couple of punchies, one ball for sprint,

2:12:16 and glasses that again help me see the

2:12:19 future. We've got a lot of fortune

2:12:21 tellers in Loco Beach.

2:12:23 >> Brett Carson's good, man. He was

2:12:25 stone cold killer.

2:12:28 As a Texas Tailgater.

2:12:32 Against these Party Animals, even the

2:12:33 first Tailgaters game in franchise

2:12:35 history, Carson became an early star,

2:12:37 two-way guy.

2:12:39 >> And a great addition to the Loco Beach

2:12:40 Banana Nuts. Picked him up out of the

2:12:42 draft.

2:12:43 Did a perfect locker room tease.

2:12:46 His sophomore campaign of Banana Ball.

2:12:50 And now pitches in a high leverage spot

2:12:51 in the eighth with this game tied.

2:12:54 Ball home.

2:12:56 Watches Carson miss outside to start his

2:12:58 day. Brett Carson got his first

2:12:59 full-time appearance in the lineup

2:13:01 yesterday. Started things off with a hit

2:13:03 in route to a Loco Beach win.

2:13:07 That's what two-way means, right?

2:13:09 Hitting and pitching. Today we see him

2:13:11 with the Banana Ball.

2:13:13 The dealer.

2:13:16 This is well off and away.

2:13:19 Bronson ball home.

2:13:24 Adam and on taken.

2:13:27 Now trio of balls to one strike to start

2:13:29 Brett Carson's afternoon. A rock, a

2:13:32 kick, and a fire low with the zone as

2:13:34 Ball Home off to the races. All seven

2:13:37 defenders have to touch that Banana

2:13:39 Ball. Ball Home won't test them on their

2:13:41 ability to do it.

2:13:42 Loco Beach.

2:13:44 Or if it's a base, but nothing more.

2:13:47 And here comes TJ Reeves.

2:13:50 Who seemingly has been involved

2:13:51 defensively every single inning. These

2:13:54 fans have seen a lot of TJ Reeves.

2:13:57 And it doesn't seem like they're

2:13:57 complaining about it.

2:13:59 Reeves now has a single right through

2:14:01 the left side.

2:14:04 Tanner Allen scoops it up off the grass.

2:14:06 >> Great day for him. Got his first trick

2:14:07 play in Banana Ball. Now he's two for

2:14:09 four

2:14:11 at the plate. By the way, Brony back

2:14:12 behind him has now worked five ball four

2:14:15 sprints in his 17 plate appearances this

2:14:17 year. Bronson Ballum's having a hell of

2:14:19 a 2025.

2:14:21 >> Looks like he's been replaced on the

2:14:22 bases by the designated runner, Mark

2:14:24 Smith.

2:14:29 It's going to be trouble. Shattenkirk,

2:14:31 Jacobo. Thrown out in time to the Drone

2:14:35 Fisherman.

2:14:36 Runners on the corners, now one away.

2:14:39 The twin killing partners that have been

2:14:40 more efficient than anybody this season,

2:14:42 Shattenkirk and Jacobo have had three

2:14:44 chances today and just haven't been able

2:14:46 to turn two.

2:14:52 >> Good strike from Jacobo, just not quite

2:14:54 in time.

2:14:58 >> Doctor's ordering a ball on the ground

2:15:01 for the Coconuts and a beer for Dustin

2:15:02 Babers. Already one deep.

2:15:08 Oh, what I would give.

2:15:13 I think that

2:15:14 you've taken full advantage of Dirty

2:15:16 Myrtle this weekend, my friends.

2:15:19 >> I said, "What's cooler than being cool?"

2:15:22 >> Dirty Myrtle.

2:15:22 >> Ice cold.

2:15:26 >> Brendan Conley though, and it's been a

2:15:27 great group.

2:15:29 High fly ball into the sun.

2:15:32 >> It's not deep enough.

2:15:34 >> Shattenkirk calls off Jacobo, who is

2:15:36 there as a background dancer.

2:15:38 >> I think I would have ate it.

2:15:40 I don't know.

2:15:42 >> That's not deep enough.

2:15:43 >> But Shattenkirk's running backward.

2:15:45 That's not his ball.

2:15:46 >> I don't think you should

2:15:48 Parker had plenty of time to get to it,

2:15:50 step into a throw if

2:15:53 Smith was a tag up, and obviously his

2:15:54 arm is much better than Shattenkirk's.

2:15:57 >> Let me test it there with him falling

2:15:58 backward into his own god.

2:16:00 >> Hey, well, it worked out. Why don't you

2:16:01 go figure it out, one out.

2:16:03 This could be the inning. Tanner Allen

2:16:05 has to run by Peter Colada. It's 5:00

2:16:07 everywhere, always, fellas.

2:16:11 Party Animals off the board at the top

2:16:13 of the eighth, but they just secured the

2:16:14 equalizer point. It is a three to two

2:16:17 Party Animals advantage as we go to the

2:16:20 home half of the eighth.

2:16:23 Pivotal pivotal frame for both teams

2:16:25 looking forward to the Banana Ball

2:16:27 Championship League open.

2:16:29 >> Yep.

2:16:29 >> The winner of this game

2:16:32 after today, regardless of what goes on

2:16:35 in Arizona, would be in pole position to

2:16:37 make the open. For Loco Beach,

2:16:40 I mean, that's a dream situation after

2:16:42 where they entered the week. And for the

2:16:43 Party Animals, the defending tour

2:16:45 champs, they'd get back above .500 and

2:16:48 comfortably afloat with two games apiece

2:16:50 remaining heading into that open in a

2:16:52 couple of weekends. What you could see

2:16:54 here

2:16:56 is a a couple teams that are all

2:16:58 knotted up in this weird kind of

2:16:59 five-win tie.

2:17:02 You could see five or six wins be that

2:17:04 metric as each of these teams will play

2:17:06 11 games before the open. Five or six

2:17:08 wins

2:17:10 be that question mark of okay, now where

2:17:12 does the tiebreaker go? Now who gets in?

2:17:14 Who beat who in head-to-head is that

2:17:15 first tiebreaker we'll look at.

2:17:18 As each team faces each other, every

2:17:21 team plays the same number of games, 11

2:17:22 games. Everybody plays each other

2:17:25 prior to the open. As Dylan Poller will

2:17:28 enter the game for the Party Animals,

2:17:29 Pistol Squad, look at his numbers this

2:17:31 year, four innings,

2:17:33 couple of strikeouts, no ball four

2:17:35 sprints. His control has been

2:17:37 incredible. As good as it gets. This is

2:17:40 for a guy who was on the mound when the

2:17:42 Party Animals closed out a win against

2:17:44 the Savannah Bananas to take the 2023

2:17:46 Banana Ball World Tour.

2:17:48 2024, back with the Party Animals,

2:17:50 couldn't quite figure it out, couldn't

2:17:51 get into a groove.

2:17:53 Short work that season and decided to

2:17:56 take a year off, a gap year, go play

2:17:58 baseball out west in California.

2:18:01 And now he's returned to Banana Ball.

2:18:02 Mike LaVezzi has picked him up in the

2:18:03 2026 Banana Ball Championship League

2:18:05 draft. Porter's been excellent tonight.

2:18:09 >> He's got eight, nine, and 10 due up in

2:18:12 the eighth inning. Payton Schappacher

2:18:14 one for two today with a double that

2:18:15 came back in the third. It's been a

2:18:17 stark difference from last night's

2:18:19 affair.

2:18:20 Offense was the story in game one.

2:18:23 Defense and pitching has dominated day

2:18:25 two.

2:18:26 >> Coconuts had 11 runs last night.

2:18:28 >> Got two today. Both have

2:18:30 >> Yeah, six combined

2:18:31 >> Six combined runs for these two teams.

2:18:33 >> And that part of that's being the home

2:18:34 team.

2:18:36 >> Who's to say the first inning and the

2:18:38 sixth inning with the Coconuts got

2:18:39 walk-offs, they would have put up a

2:18:40 five-spot.

2:18:42 >> In baseball, you only needed one to walk

2:18:44 the innings off instead though.

2:18:47 >> Schappacher wants to make sure that

2:18:50 Porter earns his first appearance here.

2:18:54 He's proven he can find the zone.

2:18:56 Up one, two in the count.

2:18:59 Right-handed short stops going to have

2:19:00 to battle. Oh, here comes the pistol

2:19:02 squat. Porter could do it.

2:19:05 Chin music.

2:19:08 It's so impossible. But the human body's

2:19:11 not built to pistol squat. For Porter to

2:19:13 do it and then throw pitches.

2:19:17 Pretty cool.

2:19:25 Back to regular scheduled programming.

2:19:27 Schappacher fights it off and Brett

2:19:30 Helton

2:19:31 wins the race. Going to give the ball to

2:19:34 a fan.

2:19:38 He looks so scary, but he's so kind.

2:19:43 Gentle giant.

2:19:45 >> Unlike C.J.

2:19:47 >> Green giant.

2:19:49 >> Yum.

2:19:52 >> Cream of wheat.

2:19:54 Three, two.

2:20:01 >> Pistol Pete

2:20:02 gets him to go around.

2:20:06 Shad Danye does a 360 back to the

2:20:08 dugout, and here comes a pinch hitter.

2:20:12 Replacing Dalton Maultin,

2:20:15 it is Dalton Maultin.

2:20:17 Released a brand new song this week, and

2:20:20 now we get to see him with the teal

2:20:22 barrel.

2:20:27 >> Porter with that little

2:20:28 kick step there.

2:20:34 >> If Shad Danye had rotated 360°, he'd be

2:20:37 facing the same direction.

2:20:40 >> More like a 180 for Shad Danye to the

2:20:41 dugout.

2:20:42 >> Thanks. Just want to make sure we're on

2:20:43 the same, you know, physics. I I You

2:20:45 didn't take physics in college, and

2:20:46 that's fine. It's fine.

2:20:51 >> Yeah.

2:20:52 Figured you know what? Science. Not

2:20:54 possible.

2:20:54 >> Squat.

2:20:55 >> Cuz science uh science would tell me

2:20:58 that those pistol squats shouldn't be

2:21:00 possible. So, I just choose to be in the

2:21:01 dark about that kind of thing.

2:21:07 >> Still two strikes on Maultin.

2:21:19 A Savannah Bananas veteran

2:21:22 watches

2:21:24 the banana ball hopping the dirt

2:21:26 pebbles.

2:21:27 First ball of the look here in the

2:21:29 bottom of the eighth.

2:21:31 Maultin, a long time Savannah Banana.

2:21:37 Great singer.

2:21:41 Pistol squat, trick pitch, misses low

2:21:44 and away.

2:21:48 Sold out Springs Brooks Stadium.

2:21:53 5,300

2:21:55 Their eyes peeled on this match up.

2:21:59 And it's called strike three.

2:22:01 Dalton Malden frozen.

2:22:04 Porter's got a second straight punch

2:22:06 out.

2:22:06 Here comes Gideon Antal.

2:22:09 The Coconuts desperate for answers

2:22:12 in the penultimate inning.

2:22:14 Porter wants his third strike out of the

2:22:16 inning.

2:22:17 Question remains

2:22:19 what will Vava do in the ninth? Do you

2:22:21 go to Drew Galeski or keep it to Dylan

2:22:23 Porter? And if he's

2:22:25 he's dealing like this, I I don't think

2:22:27 you move away from Porter.

2:22:28 >> Yeah, I think we're on the same page

2:22:29 there.

2:22:30 >> That said, you you don't want to ride

2:22:31 the guy too many pitches. He's at 20

2:22:33 pitch mark or so.

2:22:36 Surely he'd be okay, but I don't want to

2:22:38 test that

2:22:40 in a one-point game.

2:22:44 Only time will tell. First, it's a 1-1

2:22:46 look to Gideon Antal.

2:22:49 Had a single overturned into an out his

2:22:52 last time up.

2:22:53 And now he's down 1-2. Porter's got a

2:22:55 really good feel for

2:22:58 Hec- Hector Gonzalez's zone behind the

2:23:00 plate. He's painting the edges.

2:23:10 Antal strokes it to left center. It's

2:23:12 down in the alley. Reese Hampton gets a

2:23:14 glove to it. Gideon holds his horses at

2:23:17 first.

2:23:18 The inning-winning run is aboard with

2:23:20 the lineup turning over for Ben Pumps

2:23:24 Parker.

2:23:25 >> Such a key spot here for the Coconuts.

2:23:30 >> Who else would you rather have at the

2:23:31 plate? Where else would you rather be?

2:23:33 It's Loco Beach, the comeback Coconuts.

2:23:36 Did it last night. Can they do it again?

2:23:38 >> Even if you cut down Parker,

2:23:41 you got two, three, and four due up in

2:23:43 the ninth.

2:23:44 >> Such a crucial spot for Coconuts.

2:23:47 >> And they're the right guy is the one

2:23:49 >> Still got the golden batter as well. So

2:23:51 Loco Beach has a lot of power.

2:23:55 Ben Parker

2:23:57 taking his time.

2:23:59 I talked to Gideon Antal about this

2:24:02 exact situation specifically before the

2:24:04 game. If there's a ball four sprints

2:24:06 here, he's running home no matter what.

2:24:07 >> Wow.

2:24:09 >> Parker's aware of that as well.

2:24:12 So if we get another miss, get ready to

2:24:14 Look at Gideon Antal's already losing

2:24:16 his protective gear over at first. Just

2:24:18 threw off a couple of guards.

2:24:21 Porter's got to take a look that way,

2:24:22 otherwise he's going to get a big jump.

2:24:26 Modest lead for now.

2:24:29 Just got the outer part of the plate.

2:24:32 Porter has not issued a ball four

2:24:34 sprints yet this season.

2:24:38 Not be an ideal time to start. Antal's

2:24:41 running.

2:24:42 Pitch misses low. GIDEON ANTAL'S GOT TO

2:24:44 GO. GO. GIDEON, WHY ARE YOU STANDING?

2:24:46 >> HE JUST STOPPED.

2:24:47 >> HE STOPPED ON SECOND.

2:24:50 And now he's got to hold at third. Oh,

2:24:52 he thought that that was a strike.

2:24:54 >> Wow. I I don't

2:24:56 >> And that really hurts.

2:24:57 >> Antal played everything everything

2:24:59 else correct. The only thing he missed

2:25:03 was not seeing

2:25:05 the call from home plate umpire, Hector

2:25:07 Gonzales, that it was ball four. Antal

2:25:09 would have gone home successfully.

2:25:11 >> Wow. I think he may have scored there.

2:25:13 >> Wow.

2:25:15 >> This has been Antal ball. Two outs and

2:25:17 now we get to see Big Timber try to tie

2:25:19 the game.

2:25:22 >> Up there hammering foul.

2:25:23 >> I do not know what Antal saw.

2:25:26 >> Yeah, that was just a a big time flop on

2:25:29 the bases. No way around it.

2:25:30 >> a ball, too.

2:25:35 And Gideon stopped. He's just standing

2:25:37 straight up second base. I think it's

2:25:38 cuz he stole. He couldn't have, you

2:25:39 know, he really

2:25:44 >> Parker's going for second. Won't be a

2:25:45 relay that way. So, the force no longer

2:25:48 in play anywhere but first.

2:25:50 Let's look for Dane Topline who doubled

2:25:52 back in the fourth. Leads the league in

2:25:53 doubles.

2:25:55 One here would tie the game.

2:26:01 Wanted it.

2:26:03 Underneath the high cheese.

2:26:18 Pistol squat Porter.

2:26:21 Gets Topline to go around. It's a trick

2:26:23 pitch and a trick play to keep the

2:26:26 Coconuts off the board and hold on to

2:26:28 the Party Animals 3-2 advantage. TWO MEN

2:26:31 IN SCORING POSITION.

2:26:33 PORTER GOES PISTOL SQUAT, fires him down

2:26:36 with the high heat, and Dylan Porter has

2:26:39 an inning of three strike outs for the

2:26:41 Party Animals who contain their one

2:26:44 point lead, and going into the ninth,

2:26:47 every run will count as a point. Party

2:26:50 Animals though have a chance to strike

2:26:52 first.

2:26:57 3-2.

2:26:59 But, here's the thing about Banana Ball.

2:27:01 The final inning means the most as every

2:27:05 single run scored counts for a point.

2:27:08 Which means the Coconuts have to hold

2:27:10 here in the top half.

2:27:12 And then score at least once to tie or

2:27:16 possibly WALK IT OFF. CONWAY!

2:27:19 YOUR ENERGY HAS BEEN AMAZING ALL GAME

2:27:24 LONG!

2:27:26 I NEED TO FEEL IT RIGHT NOW!

2:27:34 BECAUSE THIS IS THE FINAL

2:27:40 INNING.

2:27:47 >> WELCOME TO THE final inning. Stakes

2:27:49 couldn't be higher.

2:27:52 And Loco Beach goes to the man who

2:27:54 secured the save and the big win

2:27:57 yesterday. The baddest man in Banana

2:28:00 Ball, the self-proclaimed villain, a

2:28:02 trash talker.

2:28:04 C.J. Williams

2:28:06 got his second save of the year last

2:28:08 night here at Conway. Different

2:28:10 situation here.

2:28:12 Trailing by one, his job is simple on

2:28:14 paper, near impossible in execution.

2:28:18 Get through two, three, and four in the

2:28:19 Party Animals lineup and give yours a

2:28:21 chance to walk it off in the bottom of

2:28:23 the ninth.

2:28:24 Williams, a rock and a kick.

2:28:27 First pitch swing, A-Cup

2:28:29 sends it over the grandstand. Williams

2:28:31 is so fun to watch. For the same reasons

2:28:33 that Drew Gullett Danny Gossett are.

2:28:35 Those are dudes who have so much moxie.

2:28:38 They'll strike you out and then they'll

2:28:39 tell you that I just struck you out.

2:28:43 Ben Dunn, very cerebral, calm in the

2:28:45 ninth, not these guys. They are live

2:28:48 wires, electric to watch. It adds a new

2:28:50 element to the game.

2:28:53 There's appreciation for every type of

2:28:54 closer, but I like these guys. They talk

2:28:57 to you.

2:28:59 Williams

2:29:00 slows down his cadence on the mound.

2:29:04 And what's great too in the middle of

2:29:05 this, like every pitch you can see him

2:29:07 kind of he's just he's locked up with

2:29:09 this intensity. Walking back to the

2:29:10 mound.

2:29:12 When he secures the out

2:29:14 the emotion flies.

2:29:17 Let's let that emotion fly. Called

2:29:19 strike three. C.J. Williams didn't even

2:29:21 look in for the call. He knew he got

2:29:23 them all the way. IT'S A BACK DOOR K and

2:29:26 a big one to start off the night.

2:29:28 >> Yeah, let's see the replay of this.

2:29:30 Yeah, I think I think he may have gotten

2:29:32 away with one there. Eight cuffs has the

2:29:34 exact same look maybe a tick inside. No

2:29:36 matter what though, I'm not calling the

2:29:38 game Hector Gonzalez is. There's one

2:29:39 down in the ninth.

2:29:41 This is a primetime matchup. One of the

2:29:43 premier arms against the premier bat in

2:29:46 Banana Ball. CJ Williams, Jake Skole.

2:29:49 Last night Skole got a single but was

2:29:51 stranded. In a two-for-four game, whoa,

2:29:54 he was a country mile in front of that

2:29:56 changeup.

2:29:58 CJ Williams has three pitches and

2:30:00 they're all going right now.

2:30:03 Oh my goodness, he's making the MVP look

2:30:05 like a fool.

2:30:08 Williams, the villain.

2:30:11 Skole,

2:30:13 the MVP.

2:30:15 One, two.

2:30:18 ANOTHER BACKWARDS K FOR CJ WILLIAMS.

2:30:23 >> YEAH, there was no question about that

2:30:25 one.

2:30:27 I said it earlier that you see some

2:30:30 moxie and flair out of Williams once he

2:30:32 gets these outs. Now, I I he's still

2:30:33 business. It's the difference in him

2:30:35 closing the game as a home team versus

2:30:37 the visiting team.

2:30:41 >> Ballard, way out in front of the

2:30:42 changeup to Abenitez. Gets it with a

2:30:44 bare hand and the fans love it.

2:30:47 CJ Williams is cold as ice out there

2:30:49 right now. One track mindset

2:30:52 and it's to get through this inning one,

2:30:54 two, three and bring up the heart of his

2:30:55 order.

2:30:58 0-1 turns 0-2.

2:31:02 Needs a strike away from doing just

2:31:03 that. Can CJ Williams strike out the

2:31:05 side?

2:31:07 Be the least surprising thing I've ever

2:31:09 seen in my life.

2:31:15 0-2, two away.

2:31:18 Williams

2:31:20 will have to try again, spoiled by

2:31:21 Michael Ballard.

2:31:23 Ballard had three RBI last night in the

2:31:25 Party Animals lost.

2:31:29 Good high leverage hitter. Sports 407.

2:31:33 That's 407 numbers away from zero.

2:31:36 AND WILLIAMS GETS A THIRD STRIKEOUT.

2:31:39 ONE, TWO, THREE PUNCHES FOR THE BADDEST

2:31:43 MAN IN BANANA BALL. CJ WILLIAMS BRINGS

2:31:47 HIS BATS TO THE PLATE.

2:31:50 NASTY. And Nutt loved it.

2:31:53 Ran right underneath the back barrel.

2:31:56 And it's a 3-2 Party Animals advantage.

2:31:59 CJ Williams, back-to-back days,

2:32:01 back-to-back ninth innings, back-to-back

2:32:04 nails in the coffin. But now he's going

2:32:06 to need some help from his offense. It's

2:32:08 Tanner Allen, Jordan Brewer, Eric

2:32:10 Osborne.

2:32:12 Three, four, and five.

2:32:14 Do what in the final frame for the teal

2:32:17 and orange. This is must-see television.

2:32:21 In Conway, South Carolina.

2:32:27 We're not too far from the beach.

2:32:29 And Loco Beach is playing like it.

2:32:40 Here comes Drew Gillespie.

2:32:43 It's a brief pause in the venue. The

2:32:45 music cut out. And the question of

2:32:47 whether or not Gillespie's hype intro

2:32:48 was going to play with the 5,300 in the

2:32:50 sold-out crowd here in Coastal.

2:32:53 The answer's no. Gillespie's I just want

2:32:55 to get to business. Let's just go play.

2:32:59 Drew Gillespie this season, 0 for 2 in

2:33:01 save opportunities. This is a chance to

2:33:03 get his first save of the year, and it

2:33:06 would not come without earning it. He

2:33:07 got to face a former National Player of

2:33:09 the Year in Tanner Allen, then of two

2:33:12 former long-tenured professionals in

2:33:15 Jordan Brewer from the Astros system,

2:33:17 and Eric Osborne from the Rays system.

2:33:18 This is what this sport is all about.

2:33:20 You talk about the competition of the

2:33:22 Banana Ball Championship League. These

2:33:24 are the match-ups you live for.

2:33:27 >> Yep.

2:33:27 >> TA's going tarps off. Drew Gullett has

2:33:30 got the bandana on the rosin back.

2:33:34 Bottom of the ninth.

2:33:36 Party Animals lead by one.

2:33:40 Here we go.

2:33:44 >> Man.

2:33:45 Oh, wow.

2:33:46 Great pitch.

2:33:48 >> Gillespie lives for this moment.

2:33:54 Tanner Allen battles one off.

2:33:56 >> There are dudes out there who Man, I

2:33:58 love I'd love to be up six to one when I

2:34:00 come in. Not Gillespie. He'll allow you

2:34:02 a couple points in that case.

2:34:03 He wants it to be a one-point contest.

2:34:06 Ball in his hand.

2:34:12 >> Tanner Allen dribbles to second. Babe

2:34:15 loses his footing, but holds onto the

2:34:16 banana ball.

2:34:18 Gets it to Swan for out one.

2:34:20 >> And the Coconuts only have two more to

2:34:21 play with.

2:34:23 Now, here's a guy in Jordan Brewer with

2:34:25 one swing of his bat

2:34:27 who could change the trajectory of this

2:34:29 game. Gillespie knows that.

2:34:31 You've got to be incredibly careful.

2:34:33 Anything you leave out over the plate

2:34:34 against Brewer.

2:34:43 >> Really good pitch. Not much you could do

2:34:45 with that except stare at it for strike

2:34:47 one.

2:34:48 Gillespie hunting for his first save of

2:34:51 the season.

2:34:53 Brewer

2:34:55 hops it foul.

2:35:00 Coconuts still haven't used the golden

2:35:01 batter.

2:35:02 But this is a part of the order where

2:35:03 it's really hard to replace anybody and

2:35:05 take the bat out of their hands.

2:35:08 No balls and two strikes.

2:35:10 Gillespie

2:35:12 misses high to the 6'5" Jordan Brewer.

2:35:14 >> Yep.

2:35:18 Change the plan of sight there.

2:35:21 Now the one-two attack.

2:35:24 Attack mode.

2:35:25 Brewer

2:35:26 swings. IT'S BEYOND TJ REED IN LEFT.

2:35:29 THIS IS EXTRA BASES. JORDAN BREWER INTO

2:35:33 SECOND. HE'LL HOLD THERE. THE INNING

2:35:35 TYING RUN, the game tying run is IN

2:35:38 SCORING POSITION.

2:35:40 THAT'S ATTACK MODE. Jordan Brewer,

2:35:43 big-time hit in a big-time spot. And now

2:35:46 Eric Asberg has a chance to walk this

2:35:49 thing off.

2:35:51 TYING RUN AT SECOND. WINNING run at the

2:35:54 plate. There's one away.

2:35:59 Gillespie's going to have to work from

2:36:01 the stretch now.

2:36:02 >> Asberg has not hit a home run in Banana

2:36:03 Ball.

2:36:04 >> Yes, he has. Petco Park last weekend.

2:36:06 >> Asberg has hit one home run in Banana

2:36:07 Ball.

2:36:10 >> That's right.

2:36:13 >> Don't look at my notes. Don't cheat.

2:36:17 >> Oh for three today.

2:36:24 Oh man, that one's laced foul.

2:36:27 No, I probably shouldn't air this out on

2:36:29 the broadcast, so Craco, please don't

2:36:31 punish your player, but me and Eric have

2:36:32 been texting a little during this game.

2:36:34 Said he felt like he had two balls that

2:36:36 would have been gone in the majority of

2:36:38 parks he's played in his career. He

2:36:39 thinks he's seeing the Banana Ball

2:36:41 extremely well today.

2:36:43 Swing could end it.

2:36:46 Brewer on second.

2:36:48 Gillespie needs a breather.

2:37:00 Asberg is hit. Jordan Brewer's got to go

2:37:02 back to first.

2:37:04 Winning run is on base.

2:37:07 Asberg's a little hobbled going down the

2:37:09 line.

2:37:10 That back leg

2:37:12 took a beating at Petco Park on a slide

2:37:14 in. And you've just got to hope

2:37:15 everything's all right. Osberg's going

2:37:17 to head back to the dugout. It's being

2:37:19 ran for by Armani Henderson.

2:37:24 >> Yeah, obviously not intentional from

2:37:26 Gillespie there. Off-speed just

2:37:29 cuts a little bit too much.

2:37:32 Right into the leg of Osberg and

2:37:35 I mean, from a game standpoint, that's

2:37:36 that's a

2:37:37 not the worst-case scenario at all for

2:37:39 the Party Animals. You know fine spot.

2:37:40 You give him a free 90, but now it sets

2:37:41 up a double play.

2:37:43 That's not best-case scenario, but a

2:37:45 pretty good scenario actually with

2:37:47 Osberg now in the dugout and Henderson

2:37:49 at first base.

2:37:50 >> It's a character plate appearance for

2:37:51 Osberg who wore it

2:37:54 to get a guy on first.

2:37:56 Ashby Vining

2:37:58 a chance to be the hero.

2:38:00 O for two in the ball game.

2:38:05 Gillespie, a glance and a throw.

2:38:08 Double steal's on. They're throwing to

2:38:09 second. BABERS HAS ARMANI DEAD TO

2:38:12 RIGHTS, BUT Henderson puts on a juke

2:38:15 move and he is safe. Two runners IN

2:38:19 SCORING POSITION. WHAT A WAY AND THE

2:38:21 COCONUTS ARE COMING BACK. YOU CAN FEEL

2:38:24 IT.

2:38:25 >> I'm not sure.

2:38:27 I'm not exactly sure what Babers doing

2:38:31 here.

2:38:34 WOW. WE'LL REVIEW this and the Party

2:38:36 Animals have a challenge. You might as

2:38:37 well use it now, right?

2:38:41 I

2:38:41 Yeah,

2:38:44 I mean, unless Henderson comes off the

2:38:45 base, he's safe. He's safe. Yeah, Weber

2:38:49 I'm not sure what Weber kind of got

2:38:51 turned around

2:38:53 looking back at home plate to ensure

2:38:55 that Brewer wasn't coming around to

2:38:56 score. Honestly, pretty heady play by

2:38:59 Ronnie to throw down to Weber. I don't

2:39:02 think he was going to get Brewer.

2:39:05 In the end, Weber's flip to A-Cup was

2:39:07 not in time.

2:39:09 >> Unless he comes up with Here's a the

2:39:10 probably our best angle and Henderson

2:39:12 stays on the bag. I don't I don't think

2:39:14 there's any way you can call him out.

2:39:16 Nope, and I told him I'd wait for a cool

2:39:17 moment to introduce his self-coined

2:39:20 nickname. Armani Henderson, you're

2:39:22 officially Tiki Turbo. Nice move on the

2:39:24 bases to just completely fool a veteran

2:39:27 of this sport. I do not see a single

2:39:30 world where this call is changed.

2:39:33 >> Unless we're missing something, pretty.

2:39:36 Yeah, again, we'll see it again.

2:39:39 See what Baber Where is Baber going from

2:39:41 there?

2:39:42 >> And he stayed in the base path the whole

2:39:43 time. He's safe.

2:39:44 >> I'm not sure what Baber

2:39:45 I tell it's still Right there, Baber

2:39:48 could cut him off at the bag.

2:39:50 >> Okay. Call on the field stands. Guys,

2:39:52 Ashley Vining is in a 2-0 count. A ball

2:39:54 four sprint wins this ball game.

2:39:56 >> Yeah.

2:39:57 >> He's got to see something he really

2:40:00 likes to take a hack at the plate. How

2:40:02 about the Jabronis

2:40:05 to double steal in the ninth? It pays

2:40:07 dividends.

2:40:09 The 2-0.

2:40:11 In there for a strike. Even after having

2:40:13 to wait for the review, Gillespie's able

2:40:15 to fill it up.

2:40:22 Gillespie misses down. We are a ball

2:40:24 away

2:40:25 from the Comeback Coconuts sweeping the

2:40:27 Party Animals.

2:40:31 I've got my BROOM OUT.

2:40:34 VINING RIPPED TO LEFT CENTER. BACK

2:40:38 AND THAT

2:40:39 WILL do it. Armani Henderson cruises in.

2:40:44 It's a walk-off for Lo

2:40:47 Co Beach.

2:40:52 Ashley Vining, the hero.

2:40:56 FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE AUGUST of 2025,

2:41:01 a team HAS SWEPT THE PARTY ANIMALS. Who

2:41:05 else would it be but the Coconuts? Ashby

2:41:09 Fanning, you are so so so him.

2:41:17 THE COMEBACK COCONUTS HAVE DONE it

2:41:19 again.

2:41:23 Hit that dance, boys.

2:41:49 Talk about flipping a script on its

2:41:52 head. Loco Beach entered this weekend

2:41:56 WITH ALL THE CARDS STACKED AGAINST THEM,

2:41:58 EVERY SINGLE ONE.

2:42:00 NOW, IF THE SEASON ENDS TODAY, the

2:42:02 first-year team is IN THE DANCE. THEY'VE

2:42:04 PASSED the Party Animals in the

2:42:06 standings. Loco Beach is in pole

2:42:09 position FOR THE BANANA BALL

2:42:11 Championship League Open, and it comes

2:42:14 on a rip from Ashby Fanning, who

2:42:17 extended the on-base streak earlier in

2:42:19 the game, and for good measure said,

2:42:20 "We're going to send the fans home with

2:42:23 a Coastal W."

2:42:27 Drake Toll speechless.

2:42:29 Ashby Fanning's not.

2:42:32 Matty Warhurst's down there with him.

2:42:34 Matty, what you got?

2:42:35 >> Hey, Ashby Ashby, I know you want to

2:42:38 take this picture, but we got to talk

2:42:39 about that hit. Okay, in that moment,

2:42:41 all you need is a ball for a strike, but

2:42:43 obviously you saw a pitch that you

2:42:45 liked. What did you see to

2:42:46 >> Matty, why don't you get in the picture

2:42:47 with the

2:42:47 >> I always said my offense is my defense.

2:42:49 I'm coming from high school and

2:42:50 transferring out, man. Coaches wanted me

2:42:51 to be passive, and that's not my game,

2:42:54 you know?

2:42:55 And at St. Peter's they taught me, and

2:42:57 one of the coolest facts is my dad's

2:42:58 birthday. I've hit a home run

2:43:01 and every single time it's his birthday.

2:43:03 Today I thought IT WAS GONE, IT WASN'T

2:43:04 BUT A WALK off and he'll be happy.

2:43:05 >> Hey, that wind was holding everything up

2:43:07 but I I agree. I think he's going to be

2:43:08 pretty happy about that. Obviously an

2:43:10 insane defensive showing today from the

2:43:12 entire team. It was a close game last

2:43:14 night, it was a close game today. Full

2:43:16 team effort, what can you say about the

2:43:18 Coconuts? A serious sweep against the

2:43:20 defending champ.

2:43:21 >> Yeah, I'm so proud and I could be more

2:43:23 proud of my pitching staff man. They

2:43:25 We We hunted that man AND IT'S A CLOSE

2:43:26 UNIT AND WE SAID WE GOT TO HOLD ON

2:43:28 RUNNERS BETTER. WE WE GOT TO STOP DOING

2:43:31 WALKS AND THAT'S WHAT THEY DID AND I'M

2:43:33 PROUD OF EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM.

2:43:35 It wouldn't be possible without those

2:43:36 guys behind me. Want to give credit to

2:43:38 our pitching staff and what we're

2:43:39 building and I can tell you this banana

2:43:41 ball open man, we're coming and shout

2:43:43 out to my favorite fan Mav. I know he's

2:43:44 watching. Love him to death and I know

2:43:46 he's jumping up and down. So I love you

2:43:47 Mav.

2:43:48 >> All right, I got one last question for

2:43:49 you. So we do these showman of the night

2:43:50 questions from kids in the crowd and

2:43:51 Grayson is out here somewhere watching

2:43:53 you. But Grayson, he's 10. He wants to

2:43:55 know what the inspiration was behind the

2:43:57 name of the Coconuts and who you guys

2:43:58 are as a team.

2:43:59 >> Yeah, the Coconuts. I think it's just

2:44:00 going Loco Beach team, you know, nothing

2:44:02 better than sitting on a beach with a

2:44:04 coconut in your hand.

2:44:05 Um I love it. I'm going to be here for a

2:44:07 while hopefully with the Coconuts. I

2:44:09 love and there's nothing I want to do

2:44:10 and beach to you.

2:44:11 >> Hey, beach to you. I think I think the

2:44:14 guys are going to honor him. Yeah, are

2:44:15 we going to honor honor Ashby? HONOR

2:44:17 HIM.

2:44:19 >> VIBES IMMACULATE. Loco Beach winners.

2:44:22 Happy birthday Mr. Vining and happy

2:44:25 clutch day to Ashby Vining. It's another

2:44:29 big time hit from the face of the beach

2:44:32 in the biggest of moments. He didn't

2:44:33 have a hit

2:44:35 until the ninth. He finishes one for

2:44:38 three and the game winning walk off two

2:44:41 run single has Loco Beach bringing out

2:44:44 the Brunos and sweeping the Party

2:44:46 Animals for the first time since August.

2:44:50 >> Yeah, man, you see it right there.

2:44:52 Animals had 13 hits today.

2:44:55 Top of the lineup, all those guys had

2:44:56 five plate appearances. Didn't matter.

2:44:58 Didn't matter.

2:45:00 And the updated standings show Loco

2:45:02 Beach above the Party Animals. Both

2:45:04 these teams are four and five. Now, the

2:45:05 rooting interest of both squads would be

2:45:07 for the Texas Tailgaters to knock off

2:45:09 the Firefighters today out in

2:45:11 Scottsdale, Arizona. If that happens, it

2:45:13 becomes very tough for both the Clowns

2:45:16 and the Firefighters to make the Banana

2:45:17 Ball open.

2:45:20 Clowns already out of contention.

2:45:22 Bananas have locked it in. They will

2:45:23 play for a spot in the postseason. The

2:45:26 winner of the Banana Ball Championship

2:45:27 League open sponsored by GEICO will have

2:45:30 a locked spot in the postseason.

2:45:33 What a comeback for the Comeback

2:45:35 Coconut. My goodness, they do it again.

2:45:38 The brooms are out. The Party Animals

2:45:41 have been swept for the first time this

2:45:43 season, and Loco Beach just showed they

2:45:45 can hang with anybody. Two comebacks,

2:45:47 two days, two W's against the defending

2:45:50 tour champs. Yeah, I mean, I did your

2:45:54 The Party Animals looking for a Drew

2:45:56 Gullett speed save. He's now got three

2:45:58 blown saves in his three opportunities.

2:46:00 The guy who's the 2024 pitcher of the

2:46:01 year. This stacked up like it was a

2:46:03 Party Animals win until it wasn't

2:46:05 anymore. Again, they even won the

2:46:06 equalizer, and then you hand it over to

2:46:08 the Loco Beach Coconuts who are just

2:46:09 hitting the cover off the ball and some

2:46:11 some shotty defense the Party Animals in

2:46:14 the ninth where you're wondering, okay,

2:46:15 double steal. We we've got a guy dead

2:46:17 rights. We cut him off in the back. You

2:46:18 don't. Armani Henderson's savvy base

2:46:20 running. And now the Loco Beach Coconuts

2:46:22 are winners. They sweep the weekend in a

2:46:23 play It only makes sense that 15 ft from

2:46:27 Myrtle Beach here in Conway, South

2:46:28 Carolina, the Loco Beach Coconuts would

2:46:30 play well. And they were fantastic last

2:46:32 night. They were clutch. They were

2:46:33 fantastic last night. They were clutch

2:46:35 today. They didn't need a complete game.

2:46:38 When the moment mattered, when it was

2:46:39 the biggest, Mark Krako's team stepped

2:46:41 up. I mean, how about that double steal

2:46:43 in the ninth inning? That changes

2:46:44 everything.

2:46:46 >> gutsy. The wherewithal to send two

2:46:47 runners in a game where you're losing in

2:46:49 the ninth inning, that's Loco Beach

2:46:51 Coconuts banana ball. They want to go

2:46:52 loco. They want to do things

2:46:54 differently, and it was on full display

2:46:56 this series. Mark Crocco has a group

2:46:57 that is playing for him and for the love

2:47:00 of the game.

2:47:00 >> Yep.

2:47:01 >> But, in the forefront of everyone's

2:47:02 minds, ours included, it's for the fans.

2:47:04 >> Yeah, I won't see you next weekend, by

2:47:06 the way. Can I take a weekend off,

2:47:07 please?

2:47:08 >> I think we all can.

2:47:09 >> I want to put my toes in the sand,

2:47:10 celebrate a little Easter with family,

2:47:12 and then 2 weeks from now, Coconuts the

2:47:14 Clowns will be

2:47:15 >> You'll be there at that one.

2:47:16 >> I will. Charleston, the first ever

2:47:17 headliner for Loco Beach. That's not one

2:47:19 you're going to want to miss. After the

2:47:21 Coconuts just picked up this sweep,

2:47:22 we're not going to get too deep into the

2:47:24 nitty-gritty of the standings. But, now

2:47:26 the Coconuts are in pole position to

2:47:27 make this open, and they've got a chance

2:47:28 to jockey for seeding against the

2:47:30 Clowns. I mean, this thing has flipped

2:47:32 on its head in a matter of 48 hours.

2:47:33 >> Yeah, the Coconuts are a win away. It

2:47:35 seems to me that that that's going to go

2:47:37 and secure it for them. Uh the Clowns

2:47:38 are out of it. The Clowns have to

2:47:39 regroup and figure out what the rest of

2:47:41 their season looks like to still try to

2:47:42 make the post season. And there you go.

2:47:44 Coconuts get it done today in what? What

2:47:48 was a packed house in an awesome

2:47:49 environment in Myrtle Beach.

2:47:51 >> We love you, everyone in the YouTube

2:47:53 chat, especially those who have stuck

2:47:55 around all the way until the end. Let's

2:47:57 go loco, baby. The Coconuts, for the

2:48:00 first time in team history, have a

2:48:02 series sweep, and it comes against the

2:48:04 defending World Tour Champions. So, for

2:48:08 Matty and Drake and our great producer

2:48:10 Chadwick and our amazing director Keegan

2:48:13 and everybody who has spent their

2:48:16 afternoon today and especially evening

2:48:18 with us last night, from the bottom of

2:48:20 my heart, I mean it when I say thank

2:48:22 you. Please, take the time to love one

2:48:24 another and smile. It makes the world a

2:48:27 better place. All you have to do is wear

2:48:29 a smile on your face. Love one another

2:48:32 and go loco, baby. It's a Coconuts win.

2:48:42 >> Thanks.

2:48:47 Thanks.

2:48:52 Thanks.

2:48:57 Thanks.

2:49:02 Thanks.

2:49:08 Thanks.

2:49:13 Thanks.

2:49:18 Thanks.

2:49:23 Thanks.

2:49:28 Thanks.

2:49:33 Thanks.

2:49:38 Thanks.

2:49:43 Thanks.

2:49:49 Thanks.

2:49:54 Thanks.

2:49:59 Thanks.

2:50:04 Thanks.

2:50:09 Thanks.

2:50:14 Thanks.

2:50:19 Thanks.

2:50:24 Thanks.

2:50:30 Thanks.

2:50:35 Thanks.

2:50:44 >> Mhm.
