2:03 nights on the campus of Florida State.

2:05 The debut of one of two new teams here

2:08 in Banana Ball in the Loco Beach Coconut

2:10 High Chief. and the first action in the

2:13 re-imagined Banana Ball Championship

2:15 League. In front of more than 6,700 fans

2:19 AT DICK HOWER STADIUM, WE WELCOME YOU TO

2:21 THE 2026 Banana Ball World Tour.

2:23 Tonight, the runners up from a year ago,

2:25 the firefighters highlighted by the

2:27 additions of power hitter Eric Jones Jr.

2:29 and twotime all-star Tallahassy's own

2:32 Logan Lacy. A they aim to reignite the

2:34 spark they lit in the World Tour

2:36 semi-finals a year ago. But on the

2:37 opposite end, IT'S THE LOCO Beach

2:39 Coconuts. Mark Croco and company aiming

2:41 to turn their sand castles into the

2:43 kingdom of Banana Ball. Behind former

2:46 visitors like Jordan Brewer and Ashby

2:47 Vining, how do the best vibes in sports

2:50 set sail in their debut voyage here in

2:52 Banana Land? There's new players,

2:54 familiar faces, and new places, new

2:56 teams, new rules, and tonight it all

2:59 gets kicked off in front of a soldout

3:01 crowd here at FSU. We officially welcome

3:05 you to the brand new Banana Ball

3:08 Championship League. And with that, we

3:10 welcome you inside the Dispatch Center

3:12 here at Dick Howser Stadium. I'm your

3:14 fireside chatter, Zach Stton. It's the

3:16 team that nearly made the biggest bunch

3:18 of history last year against the team

3:20 that has no history to it. So, let's

3:22 start with a team that you do know and

3:24 love. The last time that we saw the

3:25 firefighters officially in action, they

3:27 were going from the four seed in the

3:29 World Tour Championships into a stunning

3:31 upset of the Savannah Bananas in the

3:32 semi-finals to make a championship game.

3:34 And now the reinforcements have arrived

3:37 in the fire department. Starting with

3:39 veteran power hitter Eric Jones Jr. the

3:41 all-time leader for the Savannah Bananas

3:44 in home runs. 29 of them bad boys across

3:46 his career. 70 walk-offs. Already got a

3:49 big fly in spring training. How does he

3:51 change the lineup with his addition? The

3:53 first start of the year goes to Jared

3:55 Donaldson. His fourth world tour, but

3:57 first in a jersey that does not read

3:59 bananas. And already he's turning

4:00 himself into a flamethrower. 7K so far

4:03 in the buildup. They are flipping for

4:05 joy for Jared Donaldson in the land of

4:07 the fire and flames. And in center

4:08 field, former party ANIMAL ARMANDO

4:10 BISERA COMING IN AND making an instant

4:12 impact. Four trick plays in last week's

4:15 secret peel game, including this sweet

4:16 behind the back stab. And if you thought

4:19 that was fire, if you thought THAT WAS

4:20 HOT, JUST LISTEN TO HOW JOSE Bonitz

4:22 called this on our Spanish broadcast.

4:41 Hi. Those three along with the lightning

4:44 fast pitcher, Zack Phillips, the newest

4:46 additions to the firefighters along with

4:47 the names that you do know and love like

4:49 Logan Lacy from right here at Florida

4:51 State and Dalton Cornet. But that's the

4:52 team that you do know. What about the

4:54 team you don't? ONE OF TWO NEW kids on

4:55 the block or should I say the beach. The

4:57 Loco Beach Coconuts making their debut

4:59 tonight. To tell you MORE ABOUT THE BEST

5:01 VIBES IN SPORTS, HERE'S THE VOICE of the

5:03 vibes, AJ Schwitzek.

5:12 >> Out here, everything moves with the

5:15 tide,

5:17 a rhythm. You can feel,

5:21 but one thing's missing.

5:25 A voice that knows when to let the game

5:28 breathe.

5:31 and when to turn the volume way up.

5:38 >> I'm AJ Sweet.

5:43 >> I'm the voice riding the waves with the

5:45 Loco Beach coconuts.

5:49 >> I'll see you at the beach. Let's go

5:51 loco, baby.

5:59 That's an amazing video to introduce me,

6:01 but allow me to introduce you to the

6:03 greatest vibes in Banana Ball. This is

6:06 Loco Beach. These are the coconuts, and

6:08 we're here to bring love all across the

6:10 country this season. It's that energy.

6:12 You can feel it. It's palpable. And the

6:14 beach is coming to you. Speaking of

6:16 which, head coach Mark Crocco is

6:18 catching a wave as we're speaking. Only

6:20 one surfboard, doesn't matter. Coach,

6:22 how long have you been surfing?

6:23 >> Oh, it's just been unbelievable. Well,

6:25 the people of Tallahassee are already

6:27 feeling the waves of Loco Beach. The

6:30 vibes are right and it's opening day

6:32 championship banana ball. Swimming into

6:35 some energy tonight.

6:37 >> Coach, what does it mean to be a Loco

6:39 Beach coconut?

6:40 >> Oh, it's all about these fans, all about

6:41 these people that come out to uh not

6:44 only support Banana Ball and and learn

6:46 and have experiences here at the

6:48 ballpark, but uh so many ways that we

6:50 reach communities. And uh when people

6:53 think of Loco Beach, I want them to

6:54 think about family and I want them to

6:56 think about community.

6:58 >> Coach, what's your message to the

7:00 valiant fans out there?

7:01 >> Everything tonight will be our true

7:03 first and we've had some first this year

7:06 uh in spring training, but this is our

7:07 true first of a real Banana Ball game.

7:10 So, uh the the score sheet will look

7:13 pretty cool tonight. History 2026 Banana

7:16 Ball Championship League kicks off

7:18 tonight. You talk about the first game

7:20 for the Coconuts. What does a successful

7:22 first season look like to you?

7:24 >> Oh, energy, fans, uh, being number one,

7:28 fanatical about the fans every day. Uh,

7:31 that is ground zero. Uh, and as long as

7:33 they do that, I'll have litmus tests for

7:35 them. We'll have opportunities all year.

7:37 It's who they are. They're going to

7:39 answer that call. Results. The game only

7:42 knows, but all about the process. All

7:44 about the fans. When you stick with Mark

7:46 Crocco's process, only good things are

7:48 going to come. We've got a wave to

7:50 catch, coach, so we got to get back up

7:51 to Zack Stton as soon as possible. Get

7:53 on that board. Get on that board.

7:55 >> 26 Loco Beach.

7:58 >> Let's go loco, baby.

8:00 >> AJ Mark Roco, thank you so much. The

8:02 vibes already large and in color here in

8:05 Banana Land. AND RIGHT NOW GOING TO

8:06 LEARN ABOUT THE RULES OF THE GAME. AND

8:07 THE FIREFIGHTERS ARE THE ONE TELLING IT.

8:09 LET'S SEND IT down to the firefighters

8:11 right now with the rules of the game.

8:13 >> Still first base.

8:15 Rule number six, there is no walks in

8:18 banana ball. A ball for sprint is the

8:23 runner can go as far as they want until

8:25 all nine fielders touch the ball.

8:28 >> Rule number seven, batters may not step

8:31 out of the batters box. If they do, it

8:33 is a strike.

8:35 >> Rule number eight, there are no mound

8:38 visits.

8:39 >> Rule number nine, the banana ball

8:41 challenge rule. Each team will have the

8:43 opportunity to challenge one umpire call

8:46 per game. And for the first time in

8:48 professional sports history, you the

8:50 fans can challenge one play in tonight's

8:52 game.

8:54 Rule number 10, the golden batter rule.

8:56 Once per game, each team can use one

8:59 batter in their lineup at any time.

9:01 >> And finally, rule number 11, the most

9:04 fans first rule of them all. If anyone

9:08 in this ballpark catches a foul ball, it

9:11 will count for an out. And those are the

9:15 rules of banana ball.

9:44 fans now coming to the plate. He's the

9:48 toughest of the tough, the baddest of

9:50 the bad, and the meanest of the mean.

9:55 Tonight's hero hitter. HE IS SEVEN YEARS

9:59 OLD. GIVE IT UP FOR MAXWELL.

10:06 >> Maxwell has a big task. He has to hit a

10:09 home run against these nasty coconuts.

10:12 He's standing halfway in the box. AND HE

10:15 FOULS ONE UP. FOUL BALL, MAXWELL. FOUL

10:18 BALL.

10:20 HEY, GIVE IT UP FOR THAT SWING. THAT WAS

10:22 AMAZING. HE'S SEVEN YEARS OLD. Cheer him

10:24 on.

10:28 All right, Maxwell. He's got a sweet

10:30 lefty stroke.

10:32 The second pitch is about to come in.

10:36 Another foul ball. Maxwell is all over

10:40 these coconuts. And what is this?

10:44 >> THIS DOESN'T SEEM VERY FAIR. And Bo has

10:47 had enough. He brings a tea to the OH MY

10:51 GOSH.

10:52 A big tackle from Bo. HE STEALS THE

10:56 BALL. GIVES A LITTLE TAUNT to the

10:58 Coconuts

11:00 AND MAKES THIS FIGHT A LITTLE MORE FAIR.

11:04 MAXWELL RIPS IT. IT'S A FAIR BALL.

11:07 THE THROW GOES WILD IN THE RIGHT FIELD.

11:10 NOBODY CAN CONTAIN IT. MAXWELL'S HEADED

11:14 FOR SECOND.

11:16 THE COCONUTS ARE MAD AT THE UMPS.

11:20 It's fumbling AND STUMBLING ALL THE WAY

11:23 TO THIRD. THE THROW COMES IN.

11:27 is still scrambling the play in the

11:29 plate.

11:36 >> GIVE IT UP FOR TONIGHT'S HERO HITTER,

11:39 MAXWELL.

11:51 Ladies and gentlemen,

11:54 it is time for the traditional BANANA

11:57 BALL WAY. YEAH.

12:03 Rolling out of the waves in Loco Beach,

12:09 he vaguely resembles Prince Charming

12:13 from Shrek 2. If there was ever a player

12:16 born to be on this team, it is this man

12:20 right here. Ladies and gentlemen, please

12:24 welcome Ashby

12:27 Finy.

12:41 He weighs in tonight at 205 pounds of

12:46 totally tubular coconut power, bro.

12:52 >> And opposing him, making his way out of

12:56 the firefighters dugout. His teammates

13:01 call him Tiny, but that is an ironic

13:05 name because this is one Jackman. Ladies

13:08 and gentlemen, please welcome Tiner

13:11 Hughes,

13:19 lean and mean

13:21 188.

13:26 And now our homelight umpire, Vincent

13:29 Chapman.

13:31 >> 3 2 1 go.

13:48 Yeah,

14:02 danc.

14:23 The cast is ready. The players are

14:28 ready. But it's now time for you, the

14:31 fans, to get ready. So, everyone get on

14:35 your feet.

14:40 >> Now, with everyone ON YOUR FEET, I'M

14:42 GOING TO NEED YOU to help me welcome

14:45 sevenyear-old Maddie.

14:53 >> Okay.

14:54 >> Maddie. So, here's what's going to

14:56 HAPPEN HERE.

14:57 >> ALL

14:59 7,000 of these fans are going to do

15:01 whatever you do. So, whatever dances you

15:05 do, they will do as well.

15:07 >> But I need to know, are you ready?

15:09 >> Yeah.

15:12 >> All righty. Here we go.

15:17 >> Clapping our hands, y'all.

15:25 >> The Macarena. How did she know this?

15:38 the greedy. No way.

15:48 All righty, y'all. Give it up for

15:50 7year-old Maddie.

16:10 Ladies,

16:12 >> gentlemen, boys and girls, potassium

16:15 enthusiasts from around the world.

16:17 Tonight, you and thousands of your

16:19 friends here live and millions more

16:21 watching at home have gathered here to

16:24 witness something beyond your wildest

16:26 imagination. From Montana to Savannah,

16:31 from the aisle of man to Tokyo, Japan,

16:34 the Banana Maniacs come from across the

16:36 globe to witness this. This is not

16:40 baseball. This is the Crucible where the

16:43 fastest, hungriest, and most

16:45 entertaining players are forged. This is

16:48 a game of the fans, by the fans, and for

16:52 the fans. But this is not your

16:55 granddad's pastime. This is not just

16:58 another night at the ballpark. This game

17:01 is baseball by birth, fruit by name, and

17:04 an absolute worldwide fan nomin.

17:08 This is the time for this entire

17:12 capacity CROWD HERE IN TALLAHASSEE,

17:15 Florida to get on your feet and give me

17:19 your voices

17:24 because this is the greatest show in

17:28 sports. Ladies and gentlemen, this is

17:32 Banana Ball.

17:41 And now the starting lineup for your

17:44 firefighters.

17:45 Leading off ranging center field number

17:48 30, Arando Baser.

17:55 Batting second, the extra hitter number

19:15 And tonight's fireballer on the mound.

19:18 Starting pitcher number 21 Jared

19:21 Donaldelsson.

19:25 The firefighters are led by Battalion

19:27 Chief Val Perez, Captain Cory Pi, and

19:30 Lieutenant Drew Iniesta.

19:39 Ladies and gentlemen, at this time we

19:41 ask all those who are able to please

19:43 rise, uncover your heads, and turn

19:45 towards the flag with your right hand

19:47 over your heart for this evening's

19:49 performance of our national anthem.

19:51 >> Performing this evening, please welcome

19:54 Megan Works with her rendition of the

19:57 Star Spangled Banner.

20:01 Oh, say can you see

20:08 by the dawn

20:10 early

20:12 light?

20:14 But so proudly

20:18 we held

20:21 at the twilight

20:24 last gleaming

20:27 who broad stripes and bright stars

20:34 through the

20:39 fight

20:41 or the ramp.

20:44 parts we watched

20:48 were so

20:52 streaming

20:55 and the rockets

21:08 gave proof through the

21:14 that our flag

21:17 was still there.

21:20 Oh, say

21:23 does that star

21:26 spangle

21:28 ber

21:30 yet wave

21:35 or the land

21:38 of the free

21:42 and the home

21:44 of the brave.

21:49 Thank you very much, Megan Warts.

21:56 >> If the goosebumps are popping at home, I

21:58 don't know what will bring them out.

21:59 We've got literal fire and flames on the

22:02 field as we are about ready to light the

22:04 blaze for 2026 here in the world of

22:07 Banana Land. As we welcome you back up

22:09 here inside the Dispatch Center at Dick

22:12 Howouser Stadium. Now joined officially

22:14 up here by AJ Switech, the voice of the

22:16 vibes. Folks, we're all ready to go.

22:19 There are three games across three

22:21 nights here at Florida State. It starts

22:23 tonight. THE FIRE IS GOING AS WE SPEAK.

22:25 THIS IS INCREDIBLE. WE GOT CHIEF in the

22:27 booth with us, AJ Switech. It's the new

22:30 team versus the team trying to prove

22:32 that they're no longer the underdogs.

22:34 >> Yeah, you put it perfectly, Zach. I look

22:36 out there and see so much teal. This

22:38 Coconuts vibe is catching on big time,

22:40 but they've got a big time task on their

22:41 hands. This place is oozing with energy

22:43 and the Banana Ball Championship League

22:45 will be underway in a moment's time.

22:47 >> So, who gets going first? Do the waves

22:49 crash the beach or do the fire and the

22:51 flames burn up the new squad here. For

22:53 more on that, let's go take a look at

22:55 what the firefighters are putting out on

22:56 the field with the defense. And the

22:58 first thing I want to tell you about is

22:59 Armando Bisera in center field already

23:02 coming over after a stent with the party

23:04 animals. He comes in immediate impact

23:06 with four trick plays in the secret

23:07 peel. That could be massive. Mason

23:09 Maxwell at first. Eric Jones will catch

23:11 to start the game. We'll see if he ever

23:13 goes out into first base at all. Logan

23:15 Lacy, the hometown here tonight at third

23:16 base. Could very well be in the lead for

23:18 that trick play spot here for the

23:20 firefighters. And look who is on the

23:22 bump for the very first time as a

23:25 firefighter. It's the man, the myth, the

23:27 legend Jared Donaldelsson. Fourth World

23:31 Tour, but the first time since he

23:33 entered the league in 2022 in the CPL

23:36 that he plays for someone not named the

23:38 Bananas. Look at those stats from a year

23:39 ago. 7 and3 win loss record. And that's

23:42 after he was moved to the bullpin midway

23:44 through the year. Started the year as a

23:46 starter. By the end of the year, already

23:48 worked his way back up to a game one

23:49 start in the World Tour Championships.

23:51 When he is locked in, there's not

23:52 anybody that has as nasty stuff as Jared

23:55 Donaldelsson. But AJ Switech, he's got a

23:58 massive challenge tonight against this

23:59 Coconuts lineup.

24:00 >> Yeah, I've got a news flash for you,

24:02 Donnie. There's a tropical storm coming

24:04 and it's ready to hit everything that

24:06 comes its way. It starts with Ben Pumps

24:08 Parker in the leadoff spot. Then Jordan

24:11 Brewer in the third. That's someone who

24:13 I want you to keep an eye on. The first

24:14 baseman hit a couple of big flies in

24:16 spring training. He's looked every bit

24:18 of the part. He's no longer visiting.

24:19 Then you've got a veteran of

24:21 professional ball in Eric Osberg. Spent

24:24 10 years in the Tampa Bay Raid system.

24:26 Dane Toofflin wears 23. This is a group

24:28 that is loaded 1 to 10. And it's just

24:31 about time to get going. The bells

24:33 taking the field and in a moment's time,

24:36 we're going to be riding the wave.

24:40 >> We have waited through the off season

24:42 for tonight and it's just about time

24:45 that we go ahead and start the clock.

24:47 But here with the firefighters, we do it

24:50 a little bit differently. We have to

24:52 ring the bell. And here to help us

24:54 tonight, please welcome 5-year-old

24:57 Kylie.

25:01 >> All right, Kylie. I'm going to get you

25:03 in position here, but we're going to

25:04 need help from all of these fans. Folks,

25:07 when I count to three, AS LOUD AS YOU

25:10 CAN, I NEED YOU TO HELP KYLIE and say,

25:12 "Ring the bell."

25:16 >> In one, two, three.

25:22 >> Give it up for Kylie. Showtime.

25:25 >> And with that, the fire is started. THE

25:28 WAVES ARE CRASHING. BANANA BALL IN 2026

25:32 IS UNDERWAY. SOLD OUT CROWD at Florida

25:35 State to see the firefighters and the

25:38 loco Beach Coconuts. And first up is the

25:40 biggest man in Banana Ball, Ben Parker

25:42 looks at a ball low. And here we go.

25:46 The vibes could not be more incredible.

25:48 You'll see literal fire and flames right

25:50 back up the middle. Kaden Green SLIDING

25:53 OVER TO FIRST AND IN TIME FOR THE OWLS.

25:55 THAT'S A TREMENDOUS PLAY from Peanut.

25:57 Won't be a trick play, but darn does

26:00 that feel good after the start of the

26:01 secret field game. AJ,

26:02 >> great effort from your middle infield.

26:04 Gerald Donaldson gets immediate help on

26:06 a slide from Peanut Green. Makes it look

26:09 easy. Nice outstretch at first from

26:11 Mason Maxwell closes things off.

26:13 >> Mason moving over to first base. More

26:15 fulltime this year in spring training

26:17 and thus far looks very good. Tanner

26:19 Allen comes up and AJ his resume from

26:21 college at Mississippi State is one that

26:24 would read of legends in college as that

26:26 one smacked over to Mason has trouble

26:27 fielding it. Has enough time and gets

26:29 the out. Poise and composure for

26:32 DoubleM. Really good job to stick with

26:34 that play after it ran out of his

26:36 leather. You could see guys just

26:38 immediately getting lost out there.

26:40 Mason Maxwell is not one of them. Good

26:42 coverage on the back end. That's Jared

26:44 Donaldson able to cover ground and beat

26:46 Tanner Allen to the back. Boy, this is

26:47 moving quick for JD. That's a nice mover

26:50 right down the middle for a strike.

26:52 Jordan Brewer went yayya

26:55 in the secret field game. And he pulls

26:57 one down the left field line and that is

27:00 foul. Now this time there might be a

27:02 little bit more opportunity for a fan

27:03 caught foul ball compared to Grayson

27:06 Stadium with about a thousand fans in

27:08 the metal bleachers down each fire line.

27:11 Don't you count for Jared Donaldson.

27:14 Looks inside. Brewer stays alive. An

27:17 absolute nasty visitor last year. Power

27:21 hitter. Consistent at bat. Needs to find

27:24 something here. Looped right back up the

27:26 middle. A little weaker. PEANUT QUICKLY.

27:28 OH, HE TRIED TO GO BEHIND THE BACK AND

27:30 Mason couldn't field it cleanly. And the

27:32 first trick play is missed for the

27:34 firefighters. First runner ever aboard

27:36 for the Loco Beach Coconuts is Jordan

27:38 Brewer. This is why you hustle down the

27:40 line, kids at home. You never know

27:42 what's going to happen on the throw

27:43 over. He even had the wherewithal to get

27:44 underneath it. And now here's a guy I

27:46 want you to keep eyes on. Eric Osberg's

27:48 got as much pop as anybody in this

27:50 league. To say he's a pro hitter would

27:52 be a massive understatement. I think

27:54 it's a 10 count. Probably the longest

27:57 tenur professional

27:59 of any player here in Banana Ball

28:01 outside of Jackie Bradley Jr. 13th round

28:03 pick for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2017. He

28:06 and Ashby Vining. Those two just as

28:08 catchers pretty slick as that one goes

28:11 into the right field bleachers. Does

28:13 anybody have it? No, they don't.

28:15 >> We'll play on

28:17 >> chances here early.

28:18 >> The anxietyy's getting there. AJ, we can

28:20 all start to lean forward as Donaldson

28:22 back over top OF US. ZACK FRANEL WILL

28:24 MAKE A PLAY. AH, just out of his

28:27 outstretched arms.

28:29 Yeah, man.

28:32 Osber, that's a hot shot right near the

28:34 fire launcher. Won't go.

28:36 >> These are the kind of plate appearances

28:37 that build character. He's up there

28:39 seeing the ball well. Just has to

28:40 straighten the swing out.

28:43 keeps Valum off

28:45 >> high into the skies. Logan Lacy,

28:48 Tallahassee zone, CALLING IT OFF BEHIND

28:50 THE BACK. AND HOW APPROPRIATE IS IT THAT

28:53 THE FLORIDA STATE ALUM gets the first

28:56 TRICK PLAY OF THE GAME. FIRE ME UP.

28:58 SHOWTIME.

29:01 >> Nicely done by Logan Lacy. A reminder,

29:04 the equalizer point is in play for the

29:05 entirety of this season. So when a ball

29:07 is hit that high into the air, it's your

29:10 chance to sit under it and get your mind

29:12 in the right place to make a trick play.

29:14 Arguably none better than Logan Lacy.

29:16 But the Coconuts have plenty of guys who

29:18 can turn trick plays themselves. I want

29:20 to highlight a few of them. Saljacobo at

29:22 second base lit things up in the secret

29:25 field just a week ago. Left with three

29:27 trick plays. He's got Andy Archer on the

29:29 mount and he's throwing to a battery

29:31 mate in Ashb Vining who is going to come

29:33 for that catching crown in trick plays

29:35 this year. He's been working on catching

29:36 it in his mask. Let's take a look at

29:38 Andy Archer. The former Savannah Banana

29:41 now rocks teal and orange. And Archer

29:44 gets the nod to start here on opening

29:47 night in Tallahassee. Andy Archer is a

29:50 pros pro who has been here for longer

29:53 than I can count cuz on the beach again

29:54 numbers get kind of difficult. But this

29:56 is a fifth round pick for Loco Beach who

29:58 played at both Georgia Tech and Hawaii.

30:00 And you see it on your screen. He is a

30:03 Hawaii guy. Maybe not born and raised,

30:05 but certainly raised. He met a family on

30:08 his way down to the University of

30:10 Hawaii. There they are. They met on a

30:13 flight and he lived with them for three

30:14 years thereafter. If that's not an

30:16 amazing story, I don't know what is. And

30:18 Andy Archer just radiates that friendly

30:20 energy. I'm not one bit surprised that a

30:22 family was able to welcome him in as the

30:24 newest member of theirs. Maybe not a

30:26 more perfect coconut in the banana ball

30:28 player draft than Andy Archer, but up

30:30 against a lineup that does present some

30:32 problems right off the top here for the

30:33 firefighters. Led off by Armando Basera.

30:36 And again, such an impact right off the

30:38 jump going to center field and the

30:40 leadoff spot for the firefighters. This

30:42 is a guy that the party animals look

30:44 they could have found a way to play him

30:45 every day. They absolutely would have.

30:47 But in a lineup that includes Reese

30:49 Hampton, Jake Skull, Tanner Thomas, and

30:50 Noah Fischer, it's just so tough to find

30:52 a guy like that everyday playing time.

30:54 So now a third round pick. Armando Bera

30:57 walks right in and immediately faces a

30:59 20 count. Interesting story for him. He

31:01 was actually wanting to train to be a

31:03 firefighter in high school. Actually got

31:05 some of the certification needed to get

31:07 something, but they shut the program

31:08 down right before he could. And right

31:10 now he faces three count. Absolutely

31:12 could shut down Andy Archer's debut as a

31:15 starter. Not right now.

31:16 >> Talked to Andy Archer before the game.

31:18 His goal just fill up the zone and let

31:20 his defense work.

31:21 Mondo swings and fouls that away and

31:23 Archer works it back full. Mondo is one

31:26 of five players on the firefighters from

31:28 the Sunshine State and he swings over

31:32 and misses for strike three. First

31:34 strikeout in Loco Beach history. Uh-oh.

31:37 It doesn't come without a flare or an

31:39 antic. Here we go. Ashby Vining. Andy

31:41 Archer celebrate the first ever

31:44 strikeout in Loco Beach history. And it

31:46 only took one batter. Andy Archer, how

31:48 do you do? Armando didn't like something

31:50 that home play to umpire Hunter Ives

31:52 called. Won't matter as he swung through

31:54 strike three. Dalton Cornet, the hero of

31:58 the World Tour semifinals, a walk-off

32:01 over the fence homer in round two of

32:03 Showdowns against the Bananas to stun

32:05 the Banana Ball World and send the

32:06 firefighters from a six- win world tour

32:08 all the way to the championship game.

32:10 340 average last year. He easily could

32:13 have been an all-star. It just tells you

32:14 how good

32:17 that the league is. the catcher spot as

32:18 Tanner ALLEN MISSES THE TRICK PLAY and

32:21 Dalton Cornet will scoot on to second

32:23 standing up. Now he's won third AND HE

32:25 THINKS WAY BETTER OF IT JUST IN TIME.

32:29 And DC3 thought about going for three at

32:32 the last second his better thoughts

32:33 kicked in. And now let's hold up here as

32:36 we see the mistri play folks. It's time

32:39 to get sentimental.

32:49 Home.

33:11 I know.

33:40 It would bring a tear to a glass by

33:43 Logan Lacy from Tallahassee. Played his

33:46 high school ball at local Cadby High

33:48 School, two years at Tallahassee

33:51 Community College, and then three

33:52 seasons right here at Dick Hower

33:54 Stadium. He has been fired up for this

33:57 since we announced it last October. And

34:00 now, for the first time since 2022,

34:02 Logan Lacy takes a cut in his hometown.

34:06 18 home runs for the Garnet and Gold.

34:09 and he sends ONE RIGHT BACK UP THE

34:10 MIDDLE. IT HIT OFF ANDY ARCHER. It'll

34:12 move Dalton Cornette to third. Logan

34:15 Lacy's return home. We'll have to wait

34:17 for another moment to get a glorious

34:19 blast. But you can hear the crowd

34:21 already saluting him again. That was

34:23 awesome.

34:24 >> Just amazing stuff. And it's what Banana

34:25 Ball provides for so many. An

34:27 opportunity to come home, rekindle

34:29 relationships. Logan Lacy not feel the

34:31 results he wanted there, but the winning

34:33 run for the first inning is standing 90

34:35 ft away from home.

34:36 >> And look who's up. Eric Jones Jr. here.

34:38 If there's anybody that would know what

34:39 Andy Archer wants to throw, it's the guy

34:41 who used to catch him as he takes a big

34:42 hack. One of the reasons the

34:44 firefighters wanted to get EJ aboard, he

34:47 can bring home runs on base. AND HE

34:49 LOADS ONE TO LEFT FIELD ON HIS FIRST

34:51 SWING WITH THE FIREFIGHTERS. EJ PUMPS

34:55 IT.

34:59 A FIVE ALARM BLAST FOR ERIC JONES JR.

35:04 GET THAT THREE OUT OF HERE. IT'S ALL

35:07 ABOUT THE FOUR.

35:18 >> YEAH, I got you. I got you. I need the

35:19 camera.

35:26 >> You want to TALK ABOUT VALIDATION?

35:29 >> ERIC JONES JR.'S FIRST HIT WITH THE

35:32 FIREFIGHTERS IS A HOME RUN. REX

35:34 CASTILLO, TALK TO THAT MAN.

35:36 >> EJ, WHAT A WAY TO START THIS. HOW DID IT

35:38 FEEL TO GET THAT BIG HACK OUT of the

35:39 way?

35:40 >> That felt like a good one. We like the

35:42 barrels. WE'D LIKE TO SEE THEM FLY.

35:44 >> Logan Lacy should have done it before.

35:46 HE HIT THAT BALL TOO HARD. I had to

35:48 follow it up for him.

35:49 >> Guys, what a way to start this tour. EJ

35:52 can do some damage.

35:54 >> Could you script it any better? Rex

35:56 Castillo, thank you so much. Two-run

35:58 shot from EJ. HE KNEW IT AS SOON AS IT

36:01 LEFT HIS BAT. TANNER ALLEN CAN ONLY

36:04 WATCH IT FLY and the firefighters lead

36:06 it one- nothing.

36:08 >> Phenomenal piece of hitting from Eric

36:10 Jones Jr. That's what comes when you're

36:12 going against a guy who you called

36:13 teammate for so long. Used to catching

36:15 bull pens from Andy Archer. That time he

36:18 saw exactly what he was sitting on and

36:20 sent it a country mile. It's a one-

36:23 nothing firefighters lead through one

36:24 inning. We've talked about the new

36:26 firefighters with experience. And now,

36:28 how about the new guys who are coming

36:30 into Banana Ball for the very first

36:32 time. There's Lamar Sparks. He was a

36:34 fourthround pick in the Banana Ball

36:36 player draft. How about Tiner Hughes,

36:38 former visitor, they call him All Niner

36:40 Tiner, cuz that man can go anywhere.

36:42 Second base tonight, but if you want him

36:43 in the outfield, just go ahead and put

36:44 him there. And Darien McDow from local

36:46 Pensacola, Florida. Just a small drive

36:49 down I 10 to get you there. Hadn't

36:50 played in two years. And now he makes

36:53 his banana ball debut and his return to

36:56 banana to baseball I should say.

36:58 >> I really want to see how the Coconuts

37:00 respond here in three spring training

37:02 games in a secret peel. This is a team

37:04 that did not once play from behind. Loco

37:07 Beach went undefeated in the circuit

37:09 that led up to tonight with buzzer to

37:11 buzzer wins week after week. Now here

37:14 after a walk-off, they're down 10 early.

37:17 And Zach, I think it goes without saying

37:19 that the best teams in Banana Ball are

37:21 able to respond to moments like that

37:23 with ones of their own.

37:24 >> But that's why the Firefighters went

37:25 with the draft strategy that they did,

37:27 bringing in experience in the sport like

37:30 EJ Donaldelsson and Armando Vetta

37:33 because you want moments like that. And

37:34 EJ got a run home when he absolutely had

37:37 to. And look, that was a problem in the

37:40 Secret Peele game. They left a lot of

37:41 runners, not just on base, in scoring

37:43 position. Now they take a 1-0 lead and

37:46 for the first time as you mentioned

37:48 Coconut's facing a little in-game

37:49 pressure. Let's see what Big Maple Dane

37:51 Toofflin does here with his first

37:53 swings. He takes a healthy hack there as

37:55 Jared Donaldson looks right in the

37:57 mid-season form.

38:00 Why does he wear number 23 by the way?

38:02 AJ Switzk

38:04 wore it in high school. He enjoyed it

38:07 and stuck with it ever since. Strikes

38:09 this one into left field. Right on a

38:11 line. Johnny on the spot. Noah Bridges

38:13 tracks it down. The Coconuts have to

38:15 wait a little longer for their first hit

38:16 in team history, but keep an eye on the

38:18 Ant-Man. This guy knows how to put wood

38:21 to banana ball,

38:21 >> man. Gideon Antel, you want to talk

38:23 about a personality and a half. Look no

38:25 further than 18

38:27 in this ocean blue. And he sends one

38:30 right down the line. Is it fair? Looks

38:33 like it is. Nope. Nope. Foul called at

38:34 the last second. Foul called at the

38:37 absolute last second, too. Vincent

38:38 Chapman almost looked like he was trying

38:39 to play the ball at third base. Noah

38:41 Cats in left field says, "Nope, that's

38:43 foul."

38:45 >> That not look like it to you? Like

38:46 Vincent was trying to go for it?

38:47 >> I was waiting for him to say it was fair

38:49 to be honest with his act.

38:50 >> And get one is Antel with an oopsy

38:53 swing. WAIT A SECOND. DID SOMEONE CATCH

38:54 THAT?

38:57 >> Ron Franklin trying to say got it.

39:00 Went right into the firefighters dugout.

39:02 Don't think it would have counted

39:03 anyway, but good on him.

39:06 Donnie usually works a low 90s fastball

39:09 splitter and occasionally a slider. This

39:11 year working in the fourth pitch. His

39:13 new teammate Johnny Hmel giving him a

39:15 gift and a curveball. Teaching that to

39:17 him in the offseason.

39:19 Goes back to a two- two count. Gideon

39:20 Antel by the way said he was a cyber

39:22 security major in his college days. Then

39:25 I asked him if that was real. He said

39:27 not really.

39:29 Full count.

39:31 I'm telling you man, he's a personality.

39:34 If you saw the Secret Peel game last

39:35 week, then you saw his ultra awesome in

39:38 between the legs. Squeeze it with your

39:40 thigh trick play as another excuse me

39:42 swing sends it foul. Mark Croco doing

39:44 some push-ups. Vincent Chapman plus up.

39:48 Antel just staying alive as Donnie doing

39:50 everything he can to get the first year

39:53 banana baller out. It's a good fight

39:55 from Gideon here. Full count spot just

39:58 looking to find a way aboard by any

40:00 means necessary.

40:02 DONNIE RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE PUNCHED HIM

40:05 OUT AND GIDEON ANEL HAS NO IDEA HE WAS

40:08 RUNNING for second. Absolutely thought

40:11 it was a ball for sprint instead on

40:13 arrives says see you later on the

40:15 backwards K.

40:17 >> Wow.

40:18 >> Oh, Donnie,

40:18 >> the look in that Loco Beach dugout says

40:20 it all, man.

40:22 >> Shock and awe. That pitch.

40:25 >> Oh, Donniey's got something special for

40:26 us here. Let's take a look at the replay

40:27 first.

40:29 >> That's unbelievable. Tight strike zone

40:32 there. Quite low on arrive. Says it's

40:35 good.

40:37 >> And now Jared Donaldson, Tiner Hughes,

40:39 Peanut, what you got for us here?

40:52 >> Oh, please be careful, Jared. And a

40:55 swing and a foul from Ashby Vining. And

40:58 if there's anybody that can turn this

40:59 game around for the coconuts, it's that

41:01 dude right there, AJ Schwitzek.

41:03 >> Fiveame hitting streak active from last

41:04 year with the visitors. Had four home

41:06 runs in spring training. This guy's the

41:08 real deal.

41:09 >> You're going to hear from the dude here

41:10 a little bit later in this game. And if

41:12 you think there was a better made

41:13 Coconut other than Andy Archer, it'd be

41:15 this guy. I'm convinced that he lives in

41:18 an oldtime Jeep out on the beach and he

41:20 takes a

41:22 not even swing to say the very least.

41:24 >> He actually lives on Mo Beach. One-two

41:27 count.

41:28 >> Hot shot through the gap and then into

41:31 left field.

41:32 >> First hit in Loco Beach. Coconuts

41:34 history. Who else would it go to? Ashby

41:36 Vining make it a sixgame hit streak and

41:39 he's doing the wave over at first. Keep

41:41 an eye on Armani Henderson. He enters as

41:43 the designated runner in that cute grass

41:45 skirt. It is a cute grass skirt. Donnie

41:48 checks back up over on him. Gets back in

41:51 in plenty of time. Now Pton Shatan,

41:53 another guy from the visitors. There are

41:55 seven of those guys here on this year's

41:57 roster. Mark Roco, of course, the coach

41:59 from the visitors last year and uh he

42:01 wanted to have a lot of his GUYS SHOT ON

42:03 RIGHT BACK UP THE MIDDLE. TINER HUGHES

42:05 says no thank you. And how about that

42:08 for Jared Donaldson? Two innings down

42:10 and nobody coming across the plate. Rex

42:13 Castillo, you're busy down there. Let's

42:15 talk to JD. He

42:16 >> gets busy when both sides of the ball

42:17 working like this. Donnie locked in

42:19 first two innings. Local beach off the

42:20 board. How you feeling right now?

42:22 >> Yeah, I fired him. My teammate, old

42:23 teammate, Eric Jones Jr. gets out there,

42:24 leaves the yard. Dude, what can you ask

42:26 for, bro? That's baseball, man.

42:27 >> And now you're shutting doors down. How

42:28 you feeling right now with this

42:29 firefighters team off to a really hot

42:30 start?

42:30 >> Yeah, dude. They're throwing trick plays

42:32 out here left and right. Just get out

42:33 here. The crowd's unbelievable. Thank

42:34 God to be here.

42:35 >> One heck of a hot start for the

42:36 firefighters, guys. Back to you.

42:38 >> Thank you very much, Rex Castillo. Jared

42:40 Donaldson looking like he's loving his

42:42 new team. How about this?

42:46 That could go wrong instead.

42:49 They go take me through that. And Ashby

42:51 Vining says, "I'll do it with a foul

42:53 ball." That's what we love to hear. High

42:55 fire, Marshall

42:57 out in the crowd just losing his mind.

43:01 We're singing here, dancing at Dick

43:04 Hower Stadium. What could be better than

43:06 banana ball here in February? And we're

43:08 just getting started tonight.

43:10 Firefighters, coconuts, tomorrow, party

43:13 animals, and the re-imagined, redeuter

43:19 stadium. same channel, Banana Ball

43:22 YouTube page. And then Saturday night,

43:24 70,000 of our closest friends gather at

43:26 Dope Campbell Stadium as we go bananas

43:29 and tailgators. Looking at the Coconuts

43:31 defense, there's a new man out there,

43:33 Daltton Malden, fan favorite, is the

43:35 designated fielder. He's taken over for

43:37 Sal Jacobo at second base. And this is a

43:39 big time inning for Andy Archer. And his

43:41 defense can't let it become a two

43:43 nothing lead through two.

43:50 So, let's see what happens here with

43:51 Darien McDow, local Florida guy.

43:56 >> Sends that one up high. It would have

43:57 saved a kitten from a tree. Not going to

43:59 land for a hit as Jordan Brewer comes

44:00 over and makes the play. Easy does it.

44:03 >> Good tracking from Jordan Brewer. That's

44:05 good feel to help your pitcher out in

44:07 foul territory. You see a lot of guys

44:08 just get tricky no matter what. But

44:10 Brewer ran out of real estate and

44:12 realized, you know, Andy Archer, he

44:13 could use this out here. Let's keep the

44:15 line moving and get one away.

44:18 >> So, here comes Tiner Hughes to face Andy

44:20 Archer, who now looks like he's moving

44:21 and grooving a little bit. Gets Tiner to

44:23 swing on a low one. Tiny coming over

44:25 after five games with the Visitors.

44:28 Later round draft pick for the

44:30 Firefighters, but the one thing they

44:31 wanted was somebody who could just do a

44:33 little bit of everything. So, in the

44:35 10th round, they take the guy who can go

44:36 everywhere as he has to get away from

44:38 that one.

44:39 >> Ashby Vining checks if he's all right.

44:41 Those two were teammates on the

44:42 visitors.

44:42 >> They sure were.

44:45 Wonder what that relationship is like.

44:47 Duck collar and Ashby finding whatever

44:50 you want to describe him as.

44:53 >> Any relationship that involves Ashby is

44:55 probably a positive one.

44:56 >> Two two and Tiner misses late. Strike

44:59 three.

45:03 >> Punched him out. Ashby vining. Uh-oh.

45:06 Uh-oh.

45:16 That totally rocks and I did see that

45:18 you two. It's a second strike out for

45:20 the duo that Loco Beach is going to get

45:22 to know and love early. Bringing the

45:24 beach to you and one of the best

45:25 batteries in the sport.

45:27 >> Noggin. I hope Nemo was found at some

45:30 point.

45:32 Do you think he was found at some point?

45:34 Nemo,

45:36 isn't the movie called Finding Nemo?

45:37 >> Yeah, I think he was found. Then there

45:38 was Finding Dory, too. I think she

45:40 probably did get lost. D-Mac at the

45:42 plate, stares at one outside, the

45:44 veteran of this team along with

45:45 Christian Dear, but he found his power

45:48 swing at the end of 2025. An opposite

45:50 field shot at Seattle and two home runs

45:53 at Yankee Stadium to end on a good note

45:55 for D-Mac as he just chops at that one

45:58 and sends it into the parking lot where

45:59 I do hope someone has moved their car

46:02 over to the Taj Mahal of merchandise

46:04 sales. You saw that earlier. If you have

46:06 not been at Florida State yet, man, when

46:08 you get down here, that is a treat to

46:10 see. as a height chopper down the line

46:12 fell.

46:14 >> Just so much thought goes into

46:16 absolutely every part of this show. My

46:19 jaw was on the floor looking at that

46:20 merch tent. Oh man, Andy Archer do it

46:23 again. Come now. Coconuts keep it at one

46:29 because Andy Archer is playing dirty

46:32 games and the firefighters are getting

46:35 dirty prizes.

46:42 The start of the 2026 Banana Ball World

46:45 Tour will be on familiar ground for

46:47 firefighter star Logan Lacy.

46:49 >> I grew up in Tallahassee. Played

46:52 baseball there. I mean, that's where I

46:54 originated.

46:58 With the firefighter starting the year

47:00 at Florida State, that means the

47:02 Tallahassee kid will be returning to the

47:04 place where he fell in love with the

47:06 game and to the stadium where his dreams

47:09 were realized, playing for the Seinals.

47:13 >> I was looking around and I was like,

47:14 man, like my dreams have come true

47:16 because you can only imagine playing

47:18 like at a certain level, but you don't

47:20 actually think you can get there until

47:21 you like experience it. in the outfield.

47:23 >> This one is driven deep to right center

47:26 field. This has a shot and it's gone.

47:29 Three run check for Logan Lacy.

47:33 >> Ring scenario is it's going to sound

47:36 selfish, but I just want to get golden

47:38 batter and then just hit a home run to

47:40 end it and there would be nothing else

47:41 like that. I could retire just like

47:43 that.

47:49 Well, hello Logan Lacy at third base.

47:52 How you feeling, big dog?

47:53 >> Hey, I know that voice.

47:54 >> Hey, you do.

47:55 >> LOGAN LACY JOINS US MIKED UP. AND OH, by

47:57 the way, so I told you you would be the

48:00 only Lacy miked up, right?

48:01 >> Yeah, let's go.

48:02 >> I lied. There's one more up here. Say

48:05 hello to your uncle Bobby, BY THE WAY,

48:07 WHO'S WAVING TO THE CAMERA.

48:08 >> Oh my. Hey, that's the second best Lacy.

48:10 >> No, don't even let him lie to you.

48:12 >> What do you mean don't let him lie to

48:14 me. I've been the best since birth.

48:16 >> All right.

48:18 >> Unbelievable. All right, Bobby, first

48:20 things first. What was that walk up like

48:23 to watch for you as an uncle for Logan

48:25 Lacy?

48:26 >> It was It was It was emotional. I know

48:28 it had to be emotional for him cuz I

48:29 felt it in the air.

48:33 >> Austin Temple comes into the game.

48:35 Logan, what were the emotions going

48:37 through your mind as you walked through

48:38 that dugout?

48:39 >> Dude, I'm not even going to lie. As I

48:40 was walking through, I just had straight

48:42 tunnel vision. So they were like the

48:43 crowd went crazy but to me I didn't hear

48:46 nothing. I'm just like don't look bad on

48:47 TV.

48:48 >> Did you cry?

48:49 >> Yeah, I did tear up just a tiny bit.

48:51 >> I thought I saw a tear. Thought I saw a

48:53 tear. All right, Bobby.

48:54 >> Yes, sir.

48:54 >> You have watched Logan Lacy as a ball

48:56 force breaks going here. Brady Morgan

48:58 now trying to turn and go for second.

49:00 All seven position players have to touch

49:02 the ball before they can stop them. You

49:04 watch Logan grow up in front of your

49:05 very eyes in baseball. What is it like

49:07 to see him now on this big of a stage

49:09 playing in the way he does?

49:11 >> Man, it's amazing. And I'm just super

49:12 proud of the kid. I always knew that he

49:14 had something. He was going to go

49:15 places. And I think that Banana Ball is

49:18 perfect for him. It really is. I think

49:19 that it it's working out great. It's

49:21 awesome to to watch him do it.

49:24 >> Now, before he joined Banana Ball, he

49:25 worked for you, right?

49:26 >> Yes, sir. He did. Over at Data Set Ready

49:28 here in town.

49:29 >> Was he timely?

49:30 >> He was. He was timely most of the time.

49:32 Most of the time.

49:33 >> Hey, I carry

49:34 >> most of the time. Right, Logan?

49:35 >> Oh my gosh, my back hurts still from

49:38 that company.

49:41 So obviously Logan Lacy comes here as an

49:43 electrician. Showtime is his nickname.

49:45 When you see him break out the back

49:46 handspring or you see him do the back

49:48 behind the back. What goes through your

49:50 mind seeing him go from the little

49:52 league fields and now he can do all

49:54 these cool things with the banana ball.

49:55 >> It's it's it's crazy, man. It really is.

49:58 It's unimaginable. I mean, he's always

50:00 done extreme things like that, but never

50:02 in a game. Never till he got here did I

50:04 see him do that. He threw like behind

50:06 the back and between the legs, but

50:08 nothing crazy like he's doing here.

50:12 >> Dude, this is crazy. Temple's new hair

50:14 looks wild. Neon.

50:16 >> It does. I'm digging it.

50:18 >> Bobby, I want you and Logan to go back

50:19 and forth here real quick, but tell me

50:20 the funny story you know about Logan.

50:22 >> Well, I mean, I could tell you a couple

50:24 of fun facts about him he probably

50:25 wouldn't like. Uh, his favorite movie

50:27 growing up was It. And he used to be

50:30 extremely afraid of clowns until he got

50:32 older.

50:33 I'm actually terrified of clowns. And

50:34 now we got a team called the clowns.

50:38 >> His favorite favorite candy. Sour

50:41 Skittles. I can tell you that.

50:42 >> Oh yeah. Wild Berry. They got a new

50:44 flavor out now.

50:45 >> Do you?

50:45 >> I'll get you some after the game

50:46 tonight, man.

50:47 >> Okay.

50:48 >> Big punchy for Austin Temple. And he'll

50:50 celebrate.

50:51 >> Hey, Temple Dancing is crazy.

50:52 >> It is.

50:54 >> He's about to power up.

50:55 >> That hair really pops on TV. It does. Go

50:58 through memory lane here real quick

50:59 though on what your favorite moment was

51:01 from him at Florida State.

51:02 >> Oh man, one of my favorite moments for

51:04 him. Well, you know, my dad raised him,

51:06 so there was a lot of moments at Florida

51:08 State that I wish my dad could have got

51:09 to see that he didn't get to see, but I

51:11 remember the first time I came over here

51:13 and watched him. Uh-oh.

51:15 >> That is blasted to center field. Armando

51:18 Chase. There you go.

51:21 >> Oh my goodness.

51:27 Armando Bazetta,

51:29 >> how do you do, Logan Lacy? WAS THAT

51:32 INCREDIBLE OR WHAT, DUDE?

51:33 >> DUDE, I I'm used to this. I see this

51:35 every day. This is new to you guys,

51:39 >> man. This is sick.

51:40 >> Climb the ladder to absolutely rob Ben

51:43 Parker.

51:44 >> Jeez,

51:45 >> those things just never get old. Logan,

51:47 >> hey, fun fact about me. I love Fruity

51:49 Pebbles. I don't know why.

51:50 >> Fruity Pebbles, huh?

51:51 >> I can eat that every night. Or or Cocoa

51:53 Pebbles. I don't know.

51:54 >> Ripped into right field. Derry McDow

51:56 thought about diving for it.

51:57 >> He's got arm

51:58 >> lays it back down.

51:59 >> Since he's bringing up his favorite

52:00 foods, I can tell you growing up he

52:02 loved cheeseburgers from McDonald's, but

52:04 only with cheese, mayo, and ketchup.

52:06 That's it. He wouldn't have it any other

52:08 way.

52:08 >> Why Logan?

52:09 >> I still do that. By the way, my girl

52:11 gets mad at me about you're taking up

52:15 like mayo, ketchup, or do you like to

52:17 control your own ratio?

52:18 >> I control everything. I'm like extra

52:20 mayo, ketchup, and cheese.

52:23 That's an interesting combo,

52:24 >> dude. I don't know what it is. I feel

52:26 like they have to make it fresh when I

52:27 ask for it.

52:28 >> Oh, for sure. No one else is ordering

52:29 that to

52:31 >> ball.

52:31 >> He'll hold the drive-thru lane up for 10

52:33 minutes for that.

52:36 >> Haters going to hate.

52:37 >> And if it's bad, you see Fruity Pebbles

52:39 after.

52:39 >> Is this the first time you've seen Logan

52:41 play in person in banana ball or how

52:43 many games have you been to? Is

52:44 >> there look up there?

52:49 >> Wow.

52:51 Let's go.

52:53 >> Hit the jump. Logan Lacy.

52:56 >> Tell him Jordan. He just took right.

52:59 >> Did I me? Thank you so much for joining

53:01 us, Logan Lacy. I love you.

53:02 >> Thank you for having me.

53:04 >> Here's Bananas Foster and Tory Bry.

53:07 >> Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to

53:09 the field from Bananas Foster, Tori Bry.

53:13 Across the United States, there are over

53:16 400,000 children and teens in foster

53:19 care without a permanent home. To raise

53:22 awareness and support communities, we

53:24 created Bananas Foster, the official

53:28 nonprofit of Banana Ball. Our

53:30 organization is dedicated to celebrating

53:33 those in the foster care community while

53:36 educating and inspiring others to get

53:39 involved. Tonight we are celebrating the

53:42 Jones family right here in Florida.

53:46 There are over 30,000 children and teens

53:50 experiencing foster care. Kate and Zth

53:53 wanted to get involved and they became a

53:56 licensed foster family over three years

53:59 ago.

54:00 Since being licensed, they have welcomed

54:04 16 children into their home.

54:09 fans. Please join us in celebrating the

54:12 Jones family for making a difference

54:14 right here in your community.

54:39 This is what Banana Ball is all about.

54:42 We celebrate the heroes of our

54:44 community. Those who serve and those who

54:47 bring in the people who need love. If

54:50 you want to support family like the

54:51 Joneses, just text to 50155

54:57 and help support a great Foster family

55:00 community. Look at this replay, dudes.

55:03 This is unreal.

55:05 Peanut was really down about the fact

55:08 that the first hit in Secret Peel got

55:10 right by him. I DON'T THINK ANYTHING'S

55:12 GOING TO GET CLOSER TO GETTING BY THAN

55:14 THAT. I MEAN, that's inches, CENTIMETERS

55:18 AWAY. AND PEANUT MAKES SOME GONUTS AT

55:22 FSU. AND DRAKE, new thrower on the

55:24 mound.

55:24 >> That's just loco. So is Drake Fontino.

55:27 You talk about nuts. This is the

55:29 Coconut's first pick, second overall in

55:31 the draft. And those numbers, if those

55:32 don't get you feeling something, you've

55:34 got another thing coming because this

55:35 kid is legit. He's got the best head of

55:38 hair on the team. He also had a

55:40 sub3minute per inning just a season ago.

55:44 Erra stayed under four. And this is the

55:46 presumed ace as this season gets

55:48 rolling. Him and Andy Archer, a couple

55:50 of starters. Fontino gets a nod out of

55:53 the bullpen and it's time for his debut

55:55 in Teal and Orange. We talk about the

55:57 first here for the Coconuts. First ever

56:00 draft pick for the Loco Beach Coconuts

56:01 is standing right there and for good

56:03 reason. Man, he went absolutely bonkers

56:06 against the Savannah Bananas in Savannah

56:08 last year. Four and two/3 and absolutely

56:11 just shut everything down. Five

56:14 strikeouts, just one hit given up and

56:16 one B base runner allowed in his first

56:19 four innings. I mean, he was incredible.

56:20 He was absolutely incredible. Mason

56:22 Maxwell sends another one into the

56:23 trees.

56:24 >> And coach Krakco got the best view of

56:26 them all. He was coaching that visitors

56:27 team and said Drake stood out from day

56:29 one.

56:30 >> Just finds ways to shove. Did that one

56:33 plunk Mason Maxwell? It sure did.

56:38 >> He's just going to go right to first.

56:40 >> Here's the beauty of Drake Fontine. If

56:42 you haven't had the pleasure of watching

56:43 this guy pitch, it doesn't matter if

56:45 there's one guy on, if there's nobody

56:47 on, if the bases are loaded, or even if

56:49 Lightning McQueen's on base, because

56:51 Drake Fontau is unaffected by the

56:53 elements. He's just going to keep

56:54 filling up the zone with nasty breaking

56:57 balls. Noah Bridges is up.

57:00 He's the dream boy of the firefighter

57:02 world, and for good reason. He is hot,

57:04 but that one is shot right to shortstop.

57:07 PAYTON SHOTS ON.

57:09 WAIT, they called it save. Nope, it's an

57:11 out.

57:12 >> Okay, first trick play in loco beach

57:14 history comes in unorthodox fashion.

57:17 Payton says, "I don't need the two outs.

57:20 I want to make some magic for these

57:22 fans." And that's what it's all about.

57:23 That was a beautiful bounce pass. And

57:26 now we honor beauty on the field.

57:28 >> THAT'S THE TALLAHASSEE FIRE Department

57:31 for 15 years.

57:34 Fans, please make some noise for our

57:36 firefighter of the night, Captain

57:39 Kushner St. James.

57:48 From honoring our Bananas Foster family

57:51 community to the firefighter of the

57:53 night. When you come to a firefighter

57:55 game, this is what it's all about. To

57:57 honor those who have put their lives on

57:58 the line to serve us. We thank all of

58:01 our great firefighters around this

58:03 country and around the world who might

58:04 be watching tonight. What a great

58:06 firefighter tonight is Noah Bridges

58:08 going for second. He's quick and he got

58:10 there. And now in no man's land, Bridg

58:13 is on his way to third and he'll stand

58:15 up easily.

58:17 Throw from Vinding a little low. AJ

58:18 Sweet. And now the firefighters 90

58:20 freaked from a second point.

58:21 >> It wasn't even that offtarget, but

58:24 somehow it caramemed off of a guy who

58:27 had the heads up to say, you know what,

58:29 that probably really hurt. It got me on

58:31 my front side, but I'm still going to

58:33 fight for those extra 90 ft. Now just

58:35 that far away from doubling up the

58:37 firefighters lead at some point. I'll

58:39 have to go back and look at the replay.

58:40 I thought that hit off of Bridg's head.

58:42 Gives you a new definition of hard head.

58:44 Oh, it went off the shoulder. Okay.

58:46 Regginald Horton, shout out to you. Off

58:48 the shoulder.

58:51 Peanut. Screamer down the line. Foul

58:56 to the merch stand. There's some good

58:57 stuff over there, by the way. Picked up

58:59 a couple things for my wife. My dog is

59:02 Peanut. DEEP TO LEFT FIELD. SCORE. BARD.

59:06 HARTON JUST LANDS INSIDE. TANNER ALLEN

59:09 DIDN'T EVEN GIVE IT A SHOT. NOAH BRIDGES

59:11 COMES ON IN, THROWS THAT HELMET FOR ALL

59:14 IT'S WORTH, AND PEANUT BRINGS IN THE

59:16 SECOND POINT.

59:20 MAN, the firefighters out and running.

59:22 AND GUESS WHAT, FOLKS? IT'S BACK. CLIMB

59:25 THAT LADDER.

59:29 I'm going to see if Noah Bridges WILL

59:30 WAVE TO ME. HI, NOAH.

59:33 NOAH,

59:35 RIGHT HERE.

59:40 NOAH, I'm right here.

59:42 >> I couldn't see him. You think he's saw

59:43 me, AJ?

59:44 >> No, I think he's got better things to

59:45 worry about, like walking to notice me.

59:49 >> I think

59:50 >> seriously, I mean, the firefighters are

59:53 putting on a show that we have not seen

59:55 to this point. And speaking of unseen

59:58 things, look at that. It's the coolest

1:00:00 mascot in the league, Coco the Coconut.

1:00:03 I can't condone. But it did inspire the

1:00:06 game that we're going to play right now

1:00:07 because I've got a team of five over

1:00:09 here and a team of five over here. And

1:00:11 each team has a coconut on the outside.

1:00:14 They're going to have to stick that

1:00:15 coconut in their neck and pass it all

1:00:17 the way down neck to neck. Kind of look

1:00:20 like they're smooching. This one is

1:00:22 called coconut smoochy. And these guys

1:00:25 all just met each other. The first team

1:00:27 to get their COCONUT FROM THE OUTSIDE to

1:00:29 the inside wins. Gentlemen, let's get

1:00:32 those coconuts in position and let's

1:00:34 start smooching. ON YOUR MARK, GET SET,

1:00:36 GO.

1:00:39 YEAH.

1:00:42 OH, they're coming in.

1:00:45 Oh, WE'RE ALMOST THERE. MY GOODNESS.

1:00:48 RECORD TIME OVER HERE ON MY RIGHT SIDE.

1:00:51 WE GOT OUR WINNERS. THAT GOT A LITTLE

1:00:54 WEIRD. GIVE IT UP FOR COCONUT SMOOCHIE.

1:01:02 Little kiss me coconut going on right

1:01:04 there, huh? AJ White Tech,

1:01:05 >> put the lime in the coconut, baby. Let's

1:01:06 go, Loco. This is a big time inning for

1:01:09 Loco Beach. And they've got the heart of

1:01:10 their order do off. Eric Osber, Dane

1:01:12 Toofflin, Gideon Antel. When you need a

1:01:14 comeback, these are the guys you call

1:01:16 upon, but they've got to go against

1:01:18 someone with Super Saiyan powers.

1:01:19 >> Austin Temple with the new look for his

1:01:22 hair. Usually it's orange. Now it's

1:01:24 Super Saiyan green

1:01:26 from nearby Palm City, Florida. by

1:01:28 nearby I mean it's like 7 hours away I

1:01:31 think is what Austin told me but another

1:01:33 Sunshine State guy for the firefighters

1:01:35 feeling the heat here tonight got a

1:01:36 couple family members here Austin was

1:01:38 one of the eight franchise picks for the

1:01:41 co or for the coaches here of the

1:01:43 firefighters got too much coconuts on my

1:01:46 mind

1:01:46 >> I don't blame you it's over here

1:01:50 >> Eric Osberg professional hitter one of

1:01:52 the things that Austin Temple wants to

1:01:54 work on this year is going quicker and

1:01:56 getting out of trouble when things don't

1:01:58 go his way right off the jump. He faced

1:02:00 a little adversity. He felt like last

1:02:01 year things just kind of went bad. This

1:02:03 year trying to get a little bit better

1:02:05 off that and he's got a great

1:02:06 opportunity here down 3-1.

1:02:09 Oshber thought that was a ball for

1:02:10 sprint. We'll see if he gets it here and

1:02:12 that one. Oh, it's strike two.

1:02:16 And also want to tell you Zachary

1:02:17 Bridges is now behind the plate. Eric

1:02:19 Jones catching for Jared Donaldson for

1:02:21 good reason. Now ZB comes in. He's also

1:02:23 a designated fielder and that now is a

1:02:25 ball for sprint. Tachary Bridges went

1:02:26 late on the throw down. Osberg trying to

1:02:30 go FOR IT. OH, HE'S CAUGHT OVER THE

1:02:32 BALL. WENT FREE

1:02:34 AND STILL SOMEHOW THE FIREFIGHTERS GET

1:02:36 HIM OUT AS THAT WAS CHAOS AND CRAZINESS

1:02:39 DEFINED. Eric Osberg said, "No, let me

1:02:42 go to first." BALL WENT AWAY. AH, LET ME

1:02:43 GO TO SECOND. ARMANDO BER DIDN'T SEE IT.

1:02:46 AND SOMEHOW NOAH BRIDGES laid the tag

1:02:47 down. AJ, what do you see?

1:02:49 >> I see Eric Osberg watching the man on

1:02:51 the mound play catch with his catcher.

1:02:53 He didn't swing the bat once, kept it on

1:02:54 his shoulder, then decided to get a

1:02:57 little aggressive on the bases and it

1:02:58 pays the price. It's just been that kind

1:03:00 of start for Loco Beach.

1:03:01 >> It's so tempting to try to go for that

1:03:03 as well when you you can just feel like

1:03:06 you need some momentum. You need

1:03:07 something to go your way. You need a

1:03:09 vibe, so to speak. And now Dane

1:03:12 Toofflin, who could have had a runner

1:03:13 on, is now up with nobody on and one

1:03:15 out.

1:03:16 >> Well, Zach, my mind goes right back to

1:03:17 what I talked about with Coach Croco

1:03:19 local game. This is a

1:03:22 processoriented group that understands,

1:03:24 you know, banana ball, it's a game that

1:03:27 is going to have its high highs and low

1:03:29 lows, but if you trust the process,

1:03:31 everything will go your way. Temple

1:03:34 continues to go a little bit high here

1:03:37 as Dane Toofflin now looks at another

1:03:39 ball for Sprint.

1:03:47 3-1. Toofflin tried to check it, could

1:03:50 not. It's 3-2 count.

1:03:53 >> Back to back full count spots here.

1:03:55 >> This would be a massive get out of

1:03:57 trouble spot here for Austin Temple.

1:04:00 That is lightly fouled back into the

1:04:02 dugout. Jesse Herschel's over there. Sam

1:04:05 Bowman's over there, I think, as well.

1:04:07 He didn't make a play. Come on, man.

1:04:10 Toofflin again continues to try to fight

1:04:12 through. It's another foul ball.

1:04:13 >> It's been a huge strike zone through

1:04:15 three innings, so anything close, you've

1:04:16 got to take a hack. I like this

1:04:18 approach.

1:04:21 Temple

1:04:23 dealing. Toofflin swings right through

1:04:25 it. Strike three. And Austin Temple goes

1:04:28 from nearly putting someone on second

1:04:30 base to breaking out the sprinkler

1:04:31 system and two away. And now folks, I

1:04:34 think we got something real special

1:04:36 coming on here. You take a look at that.

1:04:37 Just into the turf and Dane Toofflin got

1:04:39 fooled. Hello fire marshall. It was a

1:04:42 good job by the way from Zachary Bridges

1:04:44 to block that.

1:04:45 >> Austin Temple. Dragon Ball Z power right

1:04:49 there.

1:04:50 >> But now look who's here. It's the fire

1:04:52 marshal. And look what he's got with

1:04:54 him. A bucket of butaneed soapy water.

1:04:56 That can only mean one thing. Slow claps

1:04:59 are inbound.

1:05:01 I'm going to do it in here. Yeah. Yeah.

1:05:05 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right, AJ. You are

1:05:09 in for a treat.

1:05:11 Fire

1:05:15 up into the stands. There's a foul

1:05:17 netting above where the fans are here in

1:05:19 the grand stands.

1:05:21 That just robs them.

1:05:23 >> I wouldn't want to catch a flaming ball.

1:05:25 >> I wouldn't either.

1:05:27 >> But you're loco feel like you got to do

1:05:29 some crazy stuff, right?

1:05:33 >> Way outside.

1:05:34 >> Well, we were talking this morning. I

1:05:35 said, you know, firefighters, they put

1:05:37 out a lot of fires, but there's nothing

1:05:38 the ocean can't stop.

1:05:40 >> That's very true. And then fire was

1:05:42 shooting out of the field at like 18 ft

1:05:44 high. Yeah, that had me backing away for

1:05:46 sure.

1:05:46 >> Yes, it did. Broyro Rob told me 18 to 20

1:05:48 feet high. So stay away.

1:05:51 >> Marshall Schill on his third world tour

1:05:53 with the firefighters and he gets a

1:05:55 powerful swing out of Gideon Antel. And

1:05:57 might we do this again? No, we will not.

1:05:59 He looked to the bucket like we might go

1:06:01 for another fireball instead on a two-

1:06:04 two count. Just trying to get it done.

1:06:06 Antel looks at one away.

1:06:10 Marshall signed back in the offseason as

1:06:12 one of our three entertainer players.

1:06:14 And you saw him earlier in the crowd

1:06:15 just working that mic. Can he work a

1:06:18 strike OUT HERE?

1:06:20 >> YES, HE CAN. AND AGAIN, GIDEON ANTEL

1:06:23 THOUGHT HE HAD A BALL FOR SPRINT. AND

1:06:25 INSTEAD, MARSHALL SHIELD WILL PIMP THE

1:06:27 CLUB. AND IT'S TIME EVERYBODY to dance.

1:06:29 Not just on the field. AJ SWIT, GET UP.

1:06:32 IT'S TIME FOR YOUR FIRST HEY, BABY.

1:06:34 YOU'RE READY TO GO. I'M READY TO GO

1:06:35 >> loc

1:06:39 your feet

1:06:42 >> all the way here around the stadium.

1:06:44 Everybody on your feet because we're

1:06:47 going to do the biggest Hey baby

1:06:49 Tallahassee has ever seen. So everyone

1:06:50 hands up in the air. Hands up in the air

1:06:53 all the way around.

1:06:55 >> And here we go.

1:06:58 >> Get those hands clapping.

1:07:02 >> Oh, you guys look good.

1:07:06 We're just getting started here. Let's

1:07:09 get those arms waving. Here we go.

1:07:24 >> Keep it going. Hands up.

1:07:39 Now slide with us.

1:07:44 >> Ah, you guys look good tonight.

1:07:48 >> Keep bringing it for us.

1:07:52 >> Now, let me hear you sing it.

1:08:06 One more time.

1:08:21 >> You guys are amazing. GIVE YOURSELVES A

1:08:23 ROUND OF APPLAUSE,

1:08:25 >> MAN.

1:08:27 It feels good to hit that bad boy one

1:08:29 more time. AJ Sweet Techch, your first

1:08:31 time. And now it's time to do some miked

1:08:34 up work here for the Coconuts.

1:08:36 >> Haspie Binding, you got me down there.

1:08:37 >> Oh, baby. I got you better than ever.

1:08:39 You know that, baby.

1:08:40 >> Oh, let's go, man. How's it feel? First

1:08:41 game as a Loco Beach coconut.

1:08:43 >> It's awesome, man. And I think to record

1:08:44 that first hit, man, it's pretty

1:08:46 awesome, man. It's exciting.

1:08:48 >> Forever in history catching for Drake

1:08:50 Mont Fontino. What's it like?

1:08:52 >> Yeah, I mean, it's cool going from the

1:08:53 visitors and then now here live. It's

1:08:56 pretty awesome. Let's get rolling here.

1:08:57 Yeah, we're good. Um, it's awesome, man.

1:09:00 Just a experience like this and we're

1:09:01 going up in the air

1:09:04 and roll.

1:09:04 >> Okay, get into it a little bit.

1:09:06 >> What you got, AJ? Hey, working behind

1:09:08 right now, AJ. But we're going to we're

1:09:09 going to come back, baby. Believe that.

1:09:11 >> Oh, I believe. You better believe we're

1:09:12 ready to go, Loco. It starts right here.

1:09:14 >> Right here, right now with Draco on the

1:09:16 mound, baby. First pitch coming in.

1:09:17 Let's see what we get.

1:09:19 >> Got the cold. They were probably top of

1:09:21 the zone. I really like it, though.

1:09:23 >> Frame that thing up beautifully.

1:09:24 >> Yeah. Hey, you're the man, AJ. I love

1:09:26 you, dude. Best announcer by far. Sorry.

1:09:28 Uh-oh. We might be in trouble, boys.

1:09:30 That ball's hit far back. Gone. Home

1:09:33 run.

1:09:35 >> Well, excuse me. Armando Visero. Way to

1:09:37 break up THE MIKED UP PARTY. ARMANDO

1:09:40 GOES LOCO. HIS FIRST HOMER WITH the

1:09:44 firefighters. Sorry, Ashby.

1:09:46 >> You're good, man. I completely get it. I

1:09:48 understand it, man. He put a good swing

1:09:49 on it. Got to respect it. Right now,

1:09:51 it's time to hit. Loco beat signing off

1:09:53 at mining. I'll talk to Chad Reese and

1:09:55 see if we can mic up next inning or

1:09:56 something like that.

1:09:58 >> We'll see at bat. Yeah, we'll do it.

1:10:00 We'll stay miked up for the atmat.

1:10:01 >> Yeah, let's keep you miked up down

1:10:03 there, Ashby.

1:10:04 >> Then let's keep doing that, ASHBY.

1:10:05 ARMANDO BER ABSOLUTELY NUTS. ASHBY, keep

1:10:07 that mic on. You do that. You keep that

1:10:09 mic on as Armando. Look at JESSE COLE IN

1:10:12 THE BACKGROUND. He was even impressed.

1:10:15 That went over like a 20 foot fence.

1:10:18 >> That's incredible. Ashby Vining, are you

1:10:19 still with us?

1:10:22 Okay,

1:10:25 >> let's look at a promo first. We're

1:10:26 dancing. We're partying in the USA.

1:10:28 >> Let's try to some slack away if we

1:10:30 can. If not, it's okay.

1:10:31 >> Man, that was crazy.

1:10:33 >> I mean, unbelievable. Just crushed by

1:10:36 Armando Bera. And it's been that kind of

1:10:38 night. But Ashby Binding said it and I

1:10:40 believe everything he says. I take that

1:10:42 guy's word is verbatim. Coconuts are

1:10:44 coming back. We're ready to go loco. It

1:10:46 starts right here with a good part of

1:10:47 the order up including Ashby Vining who

1:10:50 we're going to have miked up for this

1:10:51 home run. Ashby. All right.

1:11:00 >> Game recognized game. Couple of ball

1:11:02 players down there. Hey, I see you've

1:11:04 got Kaden Bowler. Is that to your left?

1:11:18 Ashby, did you know that Kaden Bowler

1:11:20 helped to translate the Book of Mormon

1:11:23 into Vietnamese?

1:11:25 >> He did say that. He's He's throwing a

1:11:26 lot at me right now. He's trying to get

1:11:28 over that home run. I'm not going to

1:11:29 lie. Pure swings I've seen behind the

1:11:31 plate. Just the respect is unbelievable.

1:11:36 >> I'm going to BE HONEST TOO, AJ. I'M NOT

1:11:37 GOING TO LIE. I'VE DONE MIKE twice with

1:11:39 myself trying to do it. And guess what?

1:11:41 I've striking out both times. So, I say

1:11:42 we change that up today. How about it?

1:11:44 >> Hey, I think that you're going to hit

1:11:45 one over the right something to do. And

1:11:47 when you do it, I want you to flip your

1:11:49 bat so high it never comes back down.

1:11:51 >> Yes. AJ, let's do it. Brett, I'm sorry

1:11:52 to do that, but you better call 911 cuz

1:11:54 I'm about to heat up right here, baby.

1:11:55 I'm one for one of the day.

1:11:56 >> Did you just call me Brett?

1:11:58 >> I think I did. Yeah.

1:11:59 >> Ashby, what are we doing now? I'm not

1:12:01 sorry for breaking up your miked up

1:12:03 party.

1:12:03 >> Brett's here on Saturday, man.

1:12:05 >> That's right. Hey, in my defense,

1:12:06 there's a lot going on. I'm putting up

1:12:08 showing you some love. I love you. HEY,

1:12:09 WE'RE MIKED UP. WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A

1:12:10 GOOD event right here, baby.

1:12:12 >> Big leaked. I love it. All right, Ash.

1:12:15 Here we go. Let's lock in. Let's do

1:12:17 damage. Definitely sitting first. I got

1:12:19 to hit it. Come on. Let's see. Show me

1:12:21 what you got, baby. Show me what you

1:12:22 got. Come on. Give it to me, baby.

1:12:25 >> Oh, I should have swung there. Holy cow.

1:12:26 Middle. Middle. Holy cow. That one's on

1:12:28 me, boys.

1:12:29 >> All good. All good. Had to see one.

1:12:30 >> That's right. See the slider right here.

1:12:32 I know it's coming.

1:12:36 >> That was it. Now I stayed on it. Now we

1:12:38 got to compete. Now we got to fight. Now

1:12:39 we got to fight.

1:12:41 >> No one better at it than you.

1:12:46 Yeah, that's going to sit. Good swing.

1:12:47 Burn him. BURN HIM. OH, THAT WAS A GOOD

1:12:49 PIECE THOUGH. Good swing.

1:12:50 >> Hey, good swing, Ashley. Little oppo

1:12:52 power.

1:12:53 >> Yeah,

1:12:54 >> but you're used to that, right?

1:12:55 >> Yeah, stayed on it. Well, I'm actually

1:12:56 okay with that, I bet. Thank you, baby.

1:12:57 Thank you. Stayed on it well. Probably

1:12:59 should have pulled the trigger over

1:13:00 there.

1:13:01 >> Yeah.

1:13:04 >> What's going on at home plate?

1:13:08 >> Oh, yeah.

1:13:24 We just started tiptoeing

1:13:42 so carefully.

1:13:48 Oh yeah.

1:14:01 >> Meatball. Oh man, he's beard first into

1:14:05 that.

1:14:09 >> Love you, Ashby.

1:14:11 All right, Zach, plenty to unpack.

1:14:14 Armando Bisera yard call. Payton shot

1:14:17 has a mouthful of cake at the plate and

1:14:20 he's eating cake by the ocean.

1:14:22 >> Yeah, his face looks a little cleaner

1:14:23 than the last time I saw him try to do

1:14:25 that. Man, that last inning was total

1:14:27 banana ball, by the way. Miked up with

1:14:29 Ashby, leadoff hitter, just absolutely

1:14:32 nukes one over a 20ft chainlink fence.

1:14:37 I mean all the accolades from Florida

1:14:40 State and couldn't stop Armando Viser

1:14:42 hitting a home run and now Bradford Web

1:14:44 is on the mound just an all-star last

1:14:46 year on the 2025 world tour and Pton

1:14:48 Shot is down excuse me tying the count

1:14:51 22

1:14:53 >> Zack I've got to say since joining

1:14:54 Banana Ball I've been asked two

1:14:55 questions one where's Loco Beach it's

1:14:58 everywhere it's in your heart

1:14:59 >> it's the friends we've made along the

1:15:00 way I will maintain that until my dying

1:15:02 breath

1:15:05 >> and the second one will have to answered

1:15:07 here in a little bit as Zachary Bridg is

1:15:09 trying to chase it. DOES HE HAVE IT? OH,

1:15:11 HE ALMOST DID. Changed on him at the

1:15:13 last second. He went diving nearly into

1:15:16 the flamethrower behind him. We'll have

1:15:18 to live to fight another day. What's the

1:15:19 second question?

1:15:20 >> The second, Zach, is you know, you've

1:15:22 broadcast so much baseball. What's the

1:15:23 biggest adjustment? This game is so fun

1:15:26 because it's so fast. You never know.

1:15:27 You look away for one second and all of

1:15:29 a sudden Armando Bisera hits one to the

1:15:31 moon and back

1:15:34 to the

1:15:35 >> moon and back.

1:15:39 WHAT DID ARMANDO CATCH THAT? YES, HE

1:15:42 DID.

1:15:45 >> Armando Bistera.

1:15:49 Have yourself A NIGHT. OH, HE SAID HE

1:15:52 DROPPED IT.

1:15:55 He says he dropped it in the outfield.

1:15:58 Look at the replay.

1:16:00 >> Oh, IT WENT OFF THE CHAIN LINK FENCE.

1:16:02 >> He's safe

1:16:03 >> into the glove.

1:16:06 That's a home run. That is a home run.

1:16:10 >> Oh, they're trying to tag him.

1:16:14 >> So, it's under review. So, if you look

1:16:15 at the replay, it bounces off that black

1:16:17 pole right over the top. Yes. Now, there

1:16:19 was there was some confusion by the

1:16:20 players if that was a home run or if

1:16:23 that would be still in play. Now, even

1:16:25 if that did bounce off the pole,

1:16:27 probably still safe. But look at this.

1:16:29 Look at this.

1:16:31 >> Look for the ball to change direction

1:16:33 harshly. That's Yep. That's off the ball

1:16:35 and that is a home run. That's the first

1:16:36 home run in Loco Beach history, Zach.

1:16:38 >> So, it goes off. Number one, that's an

1:16:40 incredible play.

1:16:41 >> HOW DID HE STILL get that off the

1:16:42 bounce?

1:16:43 >> No clue. But now, now watch at the end.

1:16:45 So, he goes here. Let's play it all the

1:16:47 way through the end here.

1:16:52 >> So, he goes here and then right at the

1:16:54 end as it goes off that hard direct.

1:16:57 Watch him here at the end. Balls in the

1:16:58 glove. Up. Go to the end. Oh, he dropped

1:17:01 it is what I'm trying to say. So even if

1:17:02 it was caught cleanly, it would have

1:17:05 been still safe because Yep. You see it

1:17:07 right there. Comes out of his glove.

1:17:08 >> It's a double whammy. But since that one

1:17:10 went off the pole by rule, it did leave

1:17:12 the yard. A phenomenal effort by Armando

1:17:14 Bera, by the way. I mean, phenomenal.

1:17:17 But I'm anticipating this one being

1:17:19 counted as a yard call. And who else but

1:17:21 Payton Shot to ring that bell. We've

1:17:24 only got 1 second left in the challenge.

1:17:25 We've got to get an answer here.

1:17:27 >> They want to get it right. So they'll

1:17:28 even though the clock is still at 60

1:17:30 seconds, they will try as best they can

1:17:31 to make sure they get this right.

1:17:36 >> Again,

1:17:38 no one's really Let's find out.

1:17:40 >> After review,

1:17:42 >> the call of out on the field has been

1:17:45 overturned.

1:17:47 The call is a double.

1:17:51 >> Wow. So they call it a double.

1:17:56 So apparently if you hit that black mesh

1:17:59 it is in fact still in play at least

1:18:02 according to the umpires.

1:18:06 Insane Grey Morgan up to the bat but man

1:18:10 oh man the Loco Beach Coconuts might

1:18:12 have finally felt like something went

1:18:13 their way and instead Payton shot on

1:18:17 second instead of going home.

1:18:21 Mike Grady Morgan bring him home. Darren

1:18:23 McDow calls him off and man he stumbled

1:18:25 and somehow found a way

1:18:29 or did he drop that one as Grady Morgan

1:18:31 has YET TO LEAVE? PLAY AT THE PLATE.

1:18:33 >> OH, he's safe. HE'S SAFE. THE BALL LEFT

1:18:37 UP THE GLOVE. UH-OH. BAITON SHOT ON IS

1:18:41 safe and the coconuts get on the board

1:18:44 on a ball that gets away. Man didn't

1:18:47 need the home run TO SCORE. SHOTTY TALK

1:18:50 TO HIM.

1:18:52 First run in Loco Beach history comes in

1:18:54 maybe the most unorthodox way possible.

1:19:00 What a 10-minute stretch we've had here,

1:19:02 Zach.

1:19:04 My brain is twisted into knots right

1:19:06 now.

1:19:12 The co the coconuts are going nuts. Sam

1:19:14 Bowman is stretching out his hands at

1:19:15 me. He's wondering what's going on. I'm

1:19:18 wondering what's going on. The Coconuts

1:19:19 are losing their minds. I think they're

1:19:20 trying to start a wave, a wave of

1:19:22 momentum, a wave in the crowd.

1:19:27 This is insane. So, now there's more

1:19:30 discussion with the umpires. The throw

1:19:33 absolutely was in time, but Zachary

1:19:35 Bridges couldn't field it cleanly. Then

1:19:36 it bounced away maybe into the dugout.

1:19:39 Hold on. What is happening? The

1:19:40 firefighters seem to think there's an

1:19:42 out. They're all walking off the field.

1:19:45 There is.

1:19:46 >> Hold on.

1:19:49 >> The field is out. There are three outs.

1:19:51 The run does not count.

1:19:53 >> What is happening? Okay,

1:19:56 that was pretty clearly the second out.

1:19:59 Wherever that out was, I don't know if

1:20:00 it was at home plate or third base.

1:20:05 Okay, so here's here's what they think.

1:20:08 They think it's the third out of the

1:20:10 game or third out of the inning, even

1:20:12 though it was clearly two.

1:20:15 So, let's see. Darren McDow. Okay, so he

1:20:17 clearly catches this here.

1:20:20 >> Here's the replay. Let's let it play

1:20:21 through to the end, everybody. Good

1:20:23 deal. Now, stumbles. Runners going home

1:20:28 or going to third. Armando Biserero then

1:20:31 launches it home.

1:20:34 >> Let's look at this here.

1:20:37 >> Zachary Bridges applies the tag, then

1:20:39 the ball comes out of the glove after

1:20:40 the tag.

1:20:42 I need you to explain this to me like

1:20:44 I'm four cuz I am completely lost. I

1:20:46 mean sitting on the beach in my book

1:20:48 that's a run shot first thought he had a

1:20:50 home run. Now he gets that taken from

1:20:52 him and you know you can only go so loco

1:20:55 you really can.

1:20:57 >> Okay so clearly there was a second out.

1:20:59 Darren McDow clearly caught that ball.

1:21:01 >> Yes. Pton shotier seemed to pretty

1:21:03 clearly tag up at second. Then goes to

1:21:05 third moves to home. The tag is applied,

1:21:09 but the ball comes out as the tag is

1:21:11 applied.

1:21:12 >> You be the judge at home. I'm sure we're

1:21:15 gonna hear a lot of it. Either way,

1:21:17 we've moved on. Blake Benson's on the

1:21:19 mound. Mark Crocco is still having

1:21:22 discussions. The game, which was

1:21:23 speeding along, by the way. We were

1:21:25 through four and a half innings in less

1:21:26 than an hour. It's now come to a

1:21:28 screeching halt here. Blake Benson's on

1:21:30 the mound. Another party.

1:21:32 >> He's coming. Croco just said get off the

1:21:33 mound because I want to tell you

1:21:35 something, Zack. It takes something

1:21:36 egregious for Mark Crocco to ever have a

1:21:39 conversation with an official. So he

1:21:40 must just be bohemianly believe that

1:21:43 Shottany was safe at home.

1:21:44 >> Now he's not going belligerent. He's

1:21:46 keeping his cool for the most part.

1:21:49 Vincent Chapman punter eyes the home

1:21:52 plate umpire is the one that ruled that

1:21:54 he was an out.

1:21:58 >> Blake Vincent has come off the mound.

1:22:01 Coconuts are still all out there.

1:22:06 I mean, it was the first run in Loco

1:22:08 Beach history and the first one to be

1:22:09 taken off the board.

1:22:12 >> Not every team gets a chance to have

1:22:13 that happen. We're going Loco, baby.

1:22:16 >> All right, here's the replay again.

1:22:17 Zachary Bridges balling glove lays the

1:22:20 tag at this point. Ball comes out.

1:22:23 >> So, either they're ruling that the tag

1:22:26 was pushed out by the hand, which I

1:22:28 don't see there,

1:22:30 >> or they clearly just believe that this

1:22:32 was a tagout.

1:22:38 I'm digging deep in the sand for answers

1:22:39 here. I really am.

1:22:40 >> Val Perez is over with Mark Croco right

1:22:43 now having a discussion. Sam Bowman is

1:22:45 close to the situation. We'll keep an

1:22:47 eye out for him if he's got anything to

1:22:49 report on the conversations going on

1:22:50 downstairs.

1:22:53 I mean, we were moving and grooving and

1:22:54 now all of a sudden, I mean, and this is

1:22:56 the correct call to try to find what's

1:22:58 happening as we're YMCA here. Reese

1:23:00 Alexiotis might be in the house. At this

1:23:03 point, everything has gone chaotic. So,

1:23:04 who knows? Maybe Reese takes an at bat

1:23:06 here,

1:23:08 >> but you can you can see the debut Banana

1:23:10 Ball still very much has this crowd

1:23:12 enthused. Nobody's sitting down.

1:23:13 Nobody's leaving. Nobody's complaining.

1:23:15 Everybody's losing their minds as again

1:23:17 here's the replay. So, Daren McDow now.

1:23:20 Again, I don't see him drop this ball.

1:23:26 Yep. It's in the glove. Now, he

1:23:28 stumbles. I still don't see the ball pop

1:23:31 out anyway. Now he gets up. He might

1:23:33 have thought that that was the third

1:23:34 out. Then Armando Visera tells him,

1:23:36 "Hey, get it to me." He flips it to

1:23:38 Armando. Armando relays it home.

1:23:47 >> We have another review.

1:23:51 >> The ruling on the field of a catch is

1:23:54 confirmed. There are two outs.

1:23:56 >> What?

1:24:00 Look at home plate. Look at home plate.

1:24:02 Look at Payton shot. I think he knows.

1:24:04 >> The runner who tagged from second and

1:24:06 crossed the plate is ruled safe at home

1:24:09 plate.

1:24:10 >> It is the first run in Loco Beach

1:24:12 history.

1:24:13 >> After a lengthy review

1:24:17 is safe at the plate and we've still got

1:24:18 banana ball to be played in the top of

1:24:20 the inning.

1:24:25 So, there were multiple reviews that I

1:24:27 didn't see called for.

1:24:30 >> Clearly went over the 60-cond clock.

1:24:32 We're at We're We're banana balling,

1:24:34 folks. So, long story short, there is

1:24:36 nobody on base. There is a run home for

1:24:39 the Coconuts. Bradford Web is back on

1:24:41 the mound. Sal Jacobo is at home to take

1:24:44 a swing.

1:24:46 And the Coconuts are still leading off

1:24:48 here.

1:24:51 And I do believe we've paused the clock

1:24:52 here as well. So we're just now ticking

1:24:54 towards an hour.

1:25:01 >> Go quickly facing an 02 hole and he

1:25:03 swings through strike three and Bradford

1:25:04 Web says now I'll do it. Throws the

1:25:06 glove with absolute force and the

1:25:10 Virginia native counts of three. And now

1:25:13 finally we have the third out. And Sam

1:25:16 Bowman, MAN, THERE'S CONFUSION AND CHAOS

1:25:18 ON LOCO BEACH, MAN.

1:25:21 YEAH, ZACK. HEY, the hardest track down

1:25:24 track down Payton here. I thought it was

1:25:26 a home run. Thought he scored there.

1:25:27 Payton, that was probably the hardest

1:25:29 you've ever had to work to get one run

1:25:30 and it's the first run. That is the

1:25:32 hardest I've ever had to work. And I've

1:25:33 never in my life a cake and then had to

1:25:35 run the bases. I just about threw up

1:25:37 right there. But I'm glad it worked out

1:25:38 for us.

1:25:39 >> Hey, what felt sweeter, that cake or

1:25:41 finally getting the coconuts on the

1:25:43 board here?

1:25:43 >> The cake was really good. Chocolate,

1:25:45 really nice, rich. But I tell you what,

1:25:46 getting that run. Oh, that was the best.

1:25:48 That was the best. It's still good vibes

1:25:50 down here, guys. We're going to keep

1:25:51 this thing going. Paint John, we're on

1:25:53 the board, guys.

1:25:55 >> I'm really glad that you didn't throw

1:25:56 up, by the way. So, good to hear that.

1:25:58 No one wanted to see it, but Sam, I

1:26:00 wanted to see you. That's a great shirt.

1:26:02 He's loco beatified down there. And the

1:26:03 Coconuts do have their first run. Zack,

1:26:05 it's now up to the break dancing pitcher

1:26:08 Blake Benson to not only put on a show,

1:26:11 but to shut down the firefighter show.

1:26:17 Speaking of show, you ever had a

1:26:19 blindfolded pillow fight, Zach Stton?

1:26:21 >> Uh,

1:26:22 yeah.

1:26:23 >> When?

1:26:24 >> I think it was like eight. Yes, Chad

1:26:26 Reese, I would love to later tonight.

1:26:30 >> Can I join?

1:26:31 >> Yeah, man.

1:26:32 >> This is what we do on the beach every

1:26:33 week. By the way,

1:26:34 >> I think we got a couple of other

1:26:35 announcers that are down here. Feel free

1:26:37 to come by the room. Let's just

1:26:38 blindfolded fight each other, man. With

1:26:41 pillows,

1:26:43 >> feathers flying galore.

1:26:45 Nobody's hitting anybody, right? Okay,

1:26:47 there we go. Little brother hit big

1:26:49 brother. Dad is swinging for everything

1:26:51 he's worth and hitting air.

1:26:53 >> Do you buy into the silk pillowcase

1:26:55 propaganda?

1:26:56 >> No, man. I'm I'm a memory foam pillow

1:26:58 with just whatever pillowcase is there.

1:27:00 Professor stops it. Everybody was

1:27:02 swinging for dear life and hitting

1:27:04 absolutely nothing but the particles

1:27:06 that God put on this universe to create

1:27:07 air.

1:27:09 The little kid in the sweatshirt has won

1:27:11 the pillow fight. And we are finally

1:27:15 moving on to the bottom half of the

1:27:16 fifth. And hey, AJ Switk's on the mound.

1:27:19 >> He is Bad Benny as they call him in the

1:27:22 Coconuts clubhouse. He is unlike

1:27:25 anything I've seen in my entire life.

1:27:27 The guy can break dance from the mound

1:27:30 and still after losing all that just

1:27:33 getting lopsided, getting off balance,

1:27:35 he's able to stand up, take the rubber,

1:27:37 and fire a strike. If there's an O2

1:27:39 spot, Zack, he's going to rip it every

1:27:42 single time. He's just got to get ahead

1:27:43 here.

1:27:49 So Dalton Cornette

1:27:52 trying to follow up what Armando Bera

1:27:53 just did,

1:27:55 which is absolutely blast one into right

1:27:57 field for a bomb. The one run that

1:28:01 actually did count. Salakovo in between

1:28:04 the legs over for the second trick play

1:28:06 of the Coconuts.

1:28:07 >> Nice play, Sal. Jacobo takes right back

1:28:09 over for Dalton Malden. And you should

1:28:10 get used to seeing that on the sand all

1:28:12 across the country this season. It's a

1:28:15 little saltwater play for Jacobo. And

1:28:17 get this, we are this deep into the

1:28:19 game. There have only been three total

1:28:21 trick plays. The Coconuts currently lead

1:28:23 for that equalizer point as the road

1:28:25 team. And if they could double up by

1:28:27 securing one here, all of a sudden, this

1:28:29 is anyone's game. Whoa,

1:28:31 >> the lights are out. That was foul.

1:28:34 I think we just hit a home run here in

1:28:35 spirit, but not in actuality as Logan

1:28:38 Lacy tied up 1-1 in the count. That

1:28:40 equalizer point, by the way, is no small

1:28:42 feat because it's a one-point game if

1:28:44 the Coconuts can find a way to win this

1:28:46 inning. with that equalizer point. But

1:28:48 Lacy sprints one into right field.

1:28:50 That's off the mesh. SO CLEARLY IT'S

1:28:52 STILL IN PLAY. LACY ON HIS HORSE GOING

1:28:55 FOR SECOND IN TIME FOR THE DOUBLE.

1:28:59 Now he knew that was a double which he

1:29:03 has the props for. Not only because he

1:29:05 played here, but also because he had the

1:29:07 knowledge of seeing what he just saw.

1:29:10 >> The first hit for Logan Lacy

1:29:12 >> at FSU since 2022. How awesome is that?

1:29:16 Phenomenal

1:29:18 >> Mr. Jones in me. His first at bat went

1:29:21 absolutely ballard off Andy Archer for a

1:29:25 two-run blast. Started an absolute wave

1:29:28 of momentum. Pun intended for the

1:29:30 firefighters. And now EJ trying to bring

1:29:32 home what would be the inning tying run

1:29:35 as that one bounces well in front of the

1:29:37 plate. Blake Benson have really yet to

1:29:39 see him break out the moves very much

1:29:41 here.

1:29:43 goes up against the veteran. That one

1:29:45 skips on. That's a great play from

1:29:47 Payton Shotier to get it over to Jordan

1:29:49 Brewer. And that is confirmed the second

1:29:51 out of the inning.

1:29:53 >> Yeah, took a funky hop off of the beach,

1:29:55 but Shatany unfaced. He's got a luau to

1:29:58 get to and an error is not going to

1:29:59 help. So, why not make an out to get

1:30:01 there quicker? Easy for the Hoola man.

1:30:05 So,

1:30:05 >> now can Darren McDow bring home the

1:30:07 inning tying run?

1:30:09 >> Had one of the most controversial normal

1:30:11 catches I've ever seen.

1:30:17 McDow

1:30:18 >> to the heavens above. You'll need a

1:30:20 prayer for that one to land. Maybe a

1:30:22 little confusion and they bring it on

1:30:24 in. Gideon Anel does it. AJ Swit. What

1:30:27 is that?

1:30:30 >> The name of that? No. What is that? It's

1:30:33 a coconut win. And it's an inning winner

1:30:36 for Loco Beach. The first ever in team

1:30:39 history. I'm not going to lie, I was

1:30:41 still kind of on island time. That one

1:30:42 got caught up in the skies. I'm like,

1:30:43 it's 5:00 somewhere. Might as well get

1:30:45 to my margarita. It's sitting here

1:30:47 anyways. Virgin, by the way.

1:30:49 >> Let's bang the drum all day with a fire

1:30:51 line, everybody.

1:31:13 Retreat.

1:31:30 Heat. Heat.

1:31:50 Heat. Heat.

1:32:31 Ladies and gentlemen, one more time.

1:32:39 >> They were in Blue Man Group for a

1:32:41 reason. He just carried a tune right

1:32:43 there, man. That was beautiful.

1:32:47 >> 3-1 our score here in the first game of

1:32:50 the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour. And

1:32:52 hello, Bradford Web. Finally get to talk

1:32:55 about this guy just a little bit here.

1:32:57 All he did over the last two months of

1:32:58 the 2025 season was turn himself into an

1:33:01 all-star. Don't let that win loss record

1:33:03 fool you. He shoved over the last two

1:33:06 months. 25 of 2/3 innings with 20

1:33:08 strikeouts for 386 RA. in the last month

1:33:12 went 19 and a third

1:33:14 >> 96 on points earned versus point lost 15

1:33:18 strikeouts. He earned becoming the

1:33:20 coach's franchise pick after going six

1:33:23 innings in game one of the World Tour

1:33:24 semi-finals giving up no runs, four

1:33:26 strikeouts. Absolutely delivered in a

1:33:29 massive moment against the Bananas.

1:33:31 >> He's also the definition of just

1:33:34 dedicating and believing in yourself. He

1:33:35 says that out of high school he was

1:33:37 about 100 pounds. And I mean look at him

1:33:39 now. I heard Ben Parker was 150 out of

1:33:41 the womb

1:33:42 >> probably. So, excuse me. Swing over to

1:33:45 EJ who is now at first. He tried to go

1:33:47 with the trick play but he caught it

1:33:49 instead out of the air. So, it is just

1:33:50 one out. And again, that trick play

1:33:52 becomes really critical especially for

1:33:54 the firefighters. Now, again, the

1:33:56 equalizer point is we'll keep the count

1:33:58 of trick plays. If we get to the eighth

1:34:00 inning and the ninth inning, then the

1:34:02 trick play count in the eighth inning

1:34:04 after the eighth inning will tell who

1:34:06 gets the point. The Coconuts are the

1:34:08 only one that can earn it. The

1:34:09 firefighters can deny them that point.

1:34:11 If we don't reach nine innings, it's the

1:34:13 last full inning of play as Tanner Allen

1:34:15 into the seeds. Was that caught? No, it

1:34:18 was not. Noah Cats rules it safe and we

1:34:22 play on. The last full inning would then

1:34:24 determine who actually gets the

1:34:26 equalizer point as Tanner Allen swings

1:34:28 and misses at strike two. Bo the Beaver

1:34:32 is sitting underneath the scoreboard on

1:34:34 the wall. You better be careful. Tanner

1:34:36 Allen can absolutely go opposite field

1:34:40 like he's just chilling, man. Vibing.

1:34:44 The 2-2

1:34:47 foul right back next to Garrett Dlue. It

1:34:49 goes under the fire launcher. Garrett,

1:34:51 please be careful. Thank you. Gets it

1:34:53 out clean. No problem.

1:34:54 >> But that swing, it looked like he was

1:34:55 beaver hunting.

1:34:59 >> Little high up. Bradford Webb now faces

1:35:01 the potential of a ball for sprint.

1:35:05 By the way, the pulled up pants looks

1:35:08 like jean shorts and it's an incredible

1:35:09 look for Tanner Allen. And he swings AND

1:35:11 MISSES ON STRIKE THREE. AND BRADFORD Web

1:35:13 goes to a knee.

1:35:15 And let's celebrate. P Web.

1:35:32 Man, I have never seen Bradford Web move

1:35:34 like that before in my life.

1:35:37 >> Feeling good.

1:35:38 >> I didn't realize Ronald McDonald had a

1:35:40 rap either.

1:35:42 >> What else?

1:35:43 >> Learn something new every day on the

1:35:44 beach.

1:35:44 >> I mean, look at this. Just got the

1:35:45 moves. He's feeling good. He's feeling

1:35:47 himself. But Jordan Brewer is as

1:35:49 dangerous of a hitter as you can go up

1:35:51 against in trying to turn around a game.

1:35:55 You can say that again. I know he's

1:35:57 itching to bring that hook out and

1:35:58 celebrate a home run. He's always a

1:36:00 threat to do it.

1:36:01 >> Fourth round pick of the Banana Ball

1:36:02 player draft after absolutely going nuts

1:36:06 in his five games at the Visitors. 316

1:36:09 average, couple of home runs and four

1:36:11 RBI's. AJ Switz, he was insane with the

1:36:14 visitors in limited action, but he's

1:36:16 going to send this one to the heavens.

1:36:19 >> Zachary Bridges calling everybody off.

1:36:21 And he missed it again just off the

1:36:23 glove. He lays there and silenced and

1:36:26 stunned.

1:36:27 >> Be Webb gives him a dap up.

1:36:29 >> It's an extra life for Jordan Brewer.

1:36:31 I'll put it how I see it. He's got to

1:36:32 take full advantage of this one up.

1:36:34 Nobody on in front of him. Two down.

1:36:37 This is your chance to take a Jordan

1:36:39 Brewer swing.

1:36:41 >> You wonder too if EJ was trying to go up

1:36:43 and get a trick play and got called off

1:36:44 immediately.

1:36:48 >> Brewer high in the sky. Armando Bera.

1:36:50 Trick play opportunity. Tip drill and

1:36:52 right in the bread basket. Trick plays

1:36:54 are tied up at two a piece and the

1:36:56 firefighters get out of this one with no

1:36:58 damage done. AJ Schwitzek.

1:36:59 >> Armando Bisera has been putting on a

1:37:01 show. If that's what you're going to see

1:37:02 from him in center field all season,

1:37:04 that's a force to be reckoned with. He

1:37:05 covers a lot of ground. He knows when

1:37:07 it's the right time to go for a trick

1:37:09 play and he even made a catch on a ball

1:37:11 that left over the fence somehow. On top

1:37:14 of the robbery earlier, Armando Bera has

1:37:16 really impressed me tonight. Let's honor

1:37:18 our hometown heroes here in Tallahassee

1:37:20 down on the field.

1:37:34 We are officers

1:37:43 to our district,

1:37:46 to our school teachers,

1:37:49 and to our firefighters.

1:37:52 We thank you for your service and

1:37:54 commitment to our great country.

1:37:59 Now, at this time, we ask everyone in

1:38:01 attendance to tonight's game please rise

1:38:04 as we stand together with our

1:38:06 firefighters in appreciation of the

1:38:08 sacrifices they make each day to protect

1:38:11 our communities.

1:38:19 >> So far

1:38:21 through five and a half innings, the

1:38:22 firefighters have absolutely brought the

1:38:25 firepower. A leadoff inning home run.

1:38:27 Two-run blast from Eric Jones Jr. Then

1:38:30 Peanut almost went yard. That one just

1:38:33 bouncing off the track for a ground rule

1:38:34 double. Scored Noah Bridges. And then

1:38:36 Armando Basera one swing. Look at Jesse

1:38:39 Cole. Watch that one fly all the way

1:38:41 back to his hometown of Miami. Armando

1:38:43 Basera with his first homer for the

1:38:45 firefighters. And that gives them a 31

1:38:48 lead. as we welcome you back to Dick

1:38:50 Cowser Stadium and we say hello to

1:38:51 former Texas TAILGATOR BE EVERYWHERE BC

1:38:54 RICK CARSON.

1:38:56 >> Dual threat Brett is pitching in front

1:38:58 of a crowd that's still standing. This

1:38:59 is an amazing tradition. They will not

1:39:01 sit down until after the first out of

1:39:03 this inning to honor all those who

1:39:05 served. And knowing Dual Threat Brett,

1:39:06 that's going to happen pretty quickly.

1:39:08 This is a guy who's got a low 90s fast

1:39:10 ball. You see he comes in with a sidearm

1:39:12 slot that just mixes things up,

1:39:14 especially following up the act of Blake

1:39:17 Benson. He works quickly. He throws

1:39:19 strikes. Oh, and he's a two-way player

1:39:21 who can hit for really good average as

1:39:23 well.

1:39:23 >> Right now, he might need his defense to

1:39:24 help him out a little bit. A 3-1 count

1:39:26 against Tiner Hughes. Hughes lifts that

1:39:28 one into right field. That's going to

1:39:30 chase way back. TINER THROWS THE BAT.

1:39:33 DID THAT ONE LEAVE THE YARD? YES, IT

1:39:35 DID. TIDY WITH A BIG SHOT.

1:39:41 IT'S FOUR TO ONE FIREFIGHTERS.

1:39:58 Rex Castillo. Just keep getting busy,

1:40:01 MAN.

1:40:01 >> YOU GUYS ARE ABSOLUTELY on fire. The

1:40:03 third bomb of the game. WHAT'S GOING ON

1:40:04 IN THIS DUGOUT? WE'RE THE HOTTEST TEAM

1:40:06 IN SPORTS, BABY. LET'S GO.

1:40:08 >> ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW, GUYS. BACK UP TO

1:40:09 YOU.

1:40:12 >> In the place where they launch rockets

1:40:14 here in Florida.

1:40:15 The firefighters are absolutely

1:40:18 launching into orbit tonight. The third

1:40:21 homer of the game for the firefighters

1:40:24 and Tiner Hughes, the third new

1:40:26 firefighter to do it. The only thing

1:40:29 that could get a little bit fire, AJ

1:49:05 Jose Bonitez is my favorite person in

1:49:07 this universe. Armando Bera after his

1:49:09 performance tonight might be like third

1:49:12 favorite. AJ, you're in like the top six

1:49:14 somewhere. 67.

1:49:16 >> There you go. Perfect. Love having Jose

1:49:19 up there. What a great way to show him

1:49:20 off to the banana ball world.

1:49:23 >> Armando Bera. Absolutely incredible.

1:49:25 We're doing some fun stuff on the field.

1:49:28 >> 23.

1:49:29 >> 23. Young buck. All right, let's see

1:49:32 what you got, Hunter. A nice tricep.

1:49:36 Little definition there. And the side

1:49:37 chest. My man's been watching pumping

1:49:39 iron. That's good. That's Hunter. All

1:49:41 right. My next contestant, what is your

1:49:44 name, sir?

1:49:45 >> Wade.

1:49:45 >> Wade, how old are you, Wade?

1:49:47 >> 48.

1:49:48 >> Little experience here. 48. Show us your

1:49:51 best Mr. February pose.

1:49:54 >> Oh, he's blowing up. Yep.

1:49:57 >> Yeah, that's pretty good.

1:50:01 Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

1:50:03 That's That's Mr. February behavior. All

1:50:07 right. Last but not least, uh, sir, what

1:50:11 is your name?

1:50:12 >> I'm Gary.

1:50:13 >> Gary. Gary, how old are you?

1:50:15 >> I'm 68-year-old grandpa.

1:50:17 >> 68 years old.

1:50:20 >> All right, Gary, what do you got?

1:50:33 >> Wow. ALL RIGHT, WE GOT A VOTE. WE GOT A

1:50:35 VOTE. FANS, WHO'S GOING TO BE MR.

1:50:37 FEBRUARY? Is it Hunter?

1:50:40 Is it Wade?

1:50:43 Or is it Gary?

1:50:46 Give it up FOR THE NEW MR. FEBRUARY.

1:50:49 GARY,

1:50:56 >> ladies and gentlemen,

1:50:57 >> Austin Chris Minsky takes the mound. And

1:51:00 here's my favorite quote from him. There

1:51:02 were 22 guys taken in front of me.

1:51:06 Look at the back of his jersey. Number

1:51:08 22. That's because he took that to heart

1:51:10 and that's what's fueling his fire this

1:51:12 season. He looks to extinguish what the

1:51:14 firefighters have going. With two runs

1:51:16 in his back pocket, he just needs to

1:51:18 navigate to three outs to get the

1:51:20 Coconuts their second point of the game.

1:51:22 And we're inching ever so close to that

1:51:24 equalizer point. Zack State.

1:51:26 >> Yep. Right now, the Firefighters lead

1:51:27 that three-2. Lamar Sparks into the game

1:51:30 for the first time. The man with a

1:51:32 perfect name for the team he's on.

1:51:34 fourth round pick in the Banana Ball

1:51:36 player draft and really someone who when

1:51:39 he gets going he's toolled out of his

1:51:41 mind. He's got plus speed, really good

1:51:43 power, especially when he connects on

1:51:45 that barrel. He was tremendous in his

1:51:48 one appearance in the Secret Peel game.

1:51:49 Now Valerez slowly but surely trying to

1:51:51 work him into this one here in Banana

1:51:52 Ball. And there's a lot to learn as a

1:51:54 new guy. But if you get on the base

1:51:55 pads, he can launch speed. But an excuse

1:51:57 me swing says see you later.

1:51:59 >> Creme, are you from Louisiana? Cuz he

1:52:02 blew that right by you. Uh-oh. Back to

1:52:04 the dugout. Grab a chair. Two outs away

1:52:07 from another Loco Beach point. Oh man,

1:52:09 elevated heat. Shacked in a boom.

1:52:13 >> Like to welcome you back to pun central

1:52:15 here on banana ball.

1:52:17 AJ Swine going for whatever that was.

1:52:21 And it was well executed.

1:52:24 JATANY BEHIND THE BACK. JORDAN BREWER

1:52:27 UNDER THE LEGS.

1:52:29 A DOUBLE TRICK PLAY. SEXY DEXI COCONUTS

1:52:34 AHEAD FOR THREE IN THE TRICK PLAYS.

1:52:36 >> First double trick play executed to

1:52:38 perfection. You want to talk about

1:52:40 executing well, Zach, that is what the

1:52:42 Coconuts do on the field. Lights go out.

1:52:45 Uh-oh. Get eyes down there.

1:52:57 >> I do.

1:53:08 There's nobody

1:53:19 >> flames,

1:53:21 >> fireballs,

1:53:22 >> explosions.

1:53:24 Noah Bridges can scoot,

1:53:28 but right now he needs to get on base if

1:53:30 the firefighters want any shot to try to

1:53:31 salvage this inning. One goes inside

1:53:34 from Creme

1:53:36 Bridges this year for the first time

1:53:38 really feeling like he's back healthy

1:53:40 again. Broke his leg of course in the

1:53:42 2024 World Tour trying to practice a

1:53:44 back flip.

1:53:46 >> Said last year for about three quarters

1:53:48 of the year felt like he was kind of

1:53:51 >> feeling a shotgun blast into his leg.

1:53:53 Feels like he's over that now. And you

1:53:55 saw him moving there, so he must feel

1:53:56 much better.

1:53:58 >> I don't know what a shotgun blast to the

1:54:00 leg feels like, but I don't know that I

1:54:01 want to find out either.

1:54:02 >> Probably painful, I would have guess.

1:54:06 One, two.

1:54:08 Crim last year against the firefighters

1:54:11 was so nasty setting up for Danny Hosley

1:54:13 with the bananas or a lot of times just

1:54:15 closing the game out himself. Not a lot

1:54:17 of firefighters could really hit off the

1:54:19 crim very often and when they did, they

1:54:21 better have saved the ball. Noah Bridges

1:54:22 fouls that one into the back stop.

1:54:25 >> Grim also said he just loves the vibe of

1:54:27 this team. Obviously, most of these guys

1:54:29 love being bananas, but when you slip on

1:54:31 that new uniform, especially to try and

1:54:33 build a brand, there's just something

1:54:35 about it that hits you right in the

1:54:36 fields. And Austin Krismenky felt just

1:54:38 like that. Talking to him earlier in the

1:54:39 plaza said he was hyped up for this

1:54:41 game, maybe more than he has in his

1:54:42 banana ball career.

1:54:59 3-2 ball force spread on the table and

1:55:01 it's on the base pads. Noah Bridges does

1:55:03 earn the free trip again. That plus

1:55:05 speed. He's going to try and go for two.

1:55:07 AND THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN ILL ADVISED.

1:55:10 >> That is how you defend a ball four

1:55:13 sprint. Let's go loco baby. It's a

1:55:16 Coconut's point and the deficit's cut in

1:55:19 half. Love the hustle from the outfield.

1:55:21 Get this. After practice, Ashby Vining,

1:55:24 Payton Shatany, and Sal Jacobo stay late

1:55:28 every day to practice what we just saw

1:55:30 right there. Now it comes to fruition

1:55:32 with a beautiful tag that just snapped

1:55:34 the runner and TA gets the last laugh.

1:55:37 So the trick plays have become a massive

1:55:40 part of banana ball over the years, but

1:55:42 now particularly this year with the

1:55:43 insertion full time of the equalizer

1:55:46 point. So far it's been pretty evenly

1:55:49 distributed and it's also been really

1:55:50 picking up here over the last couple of

1:55:52 innings. AJ Coconuts lead at four to

1:55:54 three and that's not a small deal. If

1:55:57 they can find a way to keep that up here

1:55:59 in the eighth inning, then guess what?

1:56:02 They get an extra point in a 4-2 game.

1:56:04 That could be huge. especially if they

1:56:05 find a point here in the eighth inning.

1:56:07 And to talk a little bit more about

1:56:08 that, Sam Bowman is back down on the

1:56:10 shores to chat us up.

1:56:14 >> Hey guys, I I couldn't hear you toss it

1:56:16 all. Vibes are high down here. Got lost

1:56:19 in the excitement of Payton scoring the

1:56:21 first ever run for the Coconuts. It's

1:56:24 the first ever trick play now. First

1:56:25 ever double trick play. A historic

1:56:27 night. Payton, how's it feel? I DON'T

1:56:29 KNOW IF YOU GUYS CAN HEAR ME, BUT THE

1:56:31 ENERGY IS ELECTRIC OUT HERE. WE'RE

1:56:33 HAVING A GREAT TIME. I CANNOT BE MORE

1:56:36 THANKFUL, more proud to be a part of

1:56:37 this team. Uh the equalizer point is

1:56:39 huge in this game this year. So that's

1:56:41 that's really big for us to try to get

1:56:42 that point as the away team. Uh that

1:56:44 helps us out a lot. That's what we're

1:56:45 trying to do.

1:56:46 >> Hey Payton, so good. He answered my

1:56:48 second question. Zack, back to you guys.

1:56:50 >> Peyton, we can hear you all the way from

1:56:52 up here, so don't worry about it. Oh,

1:56:54 what's going down on the field? Did

1:56:56 Lightning McQueen make a friend?

1:56:58 >> He sure did. Johnny Hmel with his first

1:57:01 appearance here in 2026. If you want a

1:57:04 man to get you out of a jam, look no

1:57:06 further than the Lightning from

1:57:08 Lexington, Kentucky as he throws a

1:57:09 strike by JD Erso in his first action.

1:57:12 Full-time banana ball, former visitor

1:57:14 himself by way of Tampa.

1:57:17 >> JD Erso has a massive group of fans here

1:57:20 tonight. Big portion of the extended

1:57:22 family here to see him take some hacks.

1:57:24 He was taking batting practice in the

1:57:26 football stadium today. He hit five

1:57:28 straight home runs.

1:57:29 >> But he'll have to go take a seat as

1:57:31 Johnny Hmel earns his per first K of

1:57:34 2026. Was not thrilled at all with the

1:57:36 way he threw in the secret field game.

1:57:38 Gave up three runs including just an

1:57:40 absolute torch of a home run to Ashby

1:57:42 Vining. Already away quick, fast, and in

1:57:45 a hurry is old number 95. By the way,

1:57:48 this guy we already talked about in

1:57:50 showdowns what he can do. Earned three

1:57:52 showdown shutdowns last year and a

1:57:53 couple that earned the firefighters a

1:57:55 win. First ever College World Series

1:57:57 trip for the University of Kentucky was

1:57:59 closed out by Johnny Hmel. Their first

1:58:01 ever win in Omaha. CLOSED OUT BY JOHNNY

1:58:04 HMEL. HIGH INTO THE SKY. NOAH GIVING A

1:58:08 CHASE. TIP DRILL. ARMANDO BRINGS IT IN

1:58:10 AND THAT TIES THE TRICK PLAY.

1:58:15 >> Ben Parker has pumped a couple balls and

1:58:17 put really good charge into him. Just

1:58:19 can't quite get it out of the yard and

1:58:21 the firefighters take full advantage.

1:58:23 That's teamwork at its finest. But now

1:58:25 this out becomes critical for that

1:58:27 equalizer point.

1:58:30 >> Firefighters right now have it tied. If

1:58:32 the Coconuts at all get a trick play in

1:58:34 the bottom half, it wins him an extra

1:58:36 point. Allen out to left field. Noah

1:58:39 will just let it fall right in front of

1:58:41 him. And Tanner Allen's got a single.

1:58:44 >> Keep the line moving even with two gone

1:58:46 and nobody on. That's a proab from

1:58:48 Tanner Allen.

1:58:50 Especially with the man coming up now in

1:58:54 Jordan Brewer.

1:58:56 Big shot in the second inning of last

1:58:59 weekend's secret peel game. And he knew

1:59:02 it right off the rip. If there's anybody

1:59:05 that can change momentum for good,

1:59:09 it's Jordan Brewer.

1:59:16 >> Noah Bridg is trying to slide down.

1:59:18 Everybody went silent. We thought that

1:59:19 MIGHT HAVE BEEN A HOME RUN. PEANUT TO

1:59:21 THE PLATE

1:59:24 AND HE SAVED. BALL GOT AWAY FROM DALTON

1:59:26 CORNETS.

1:59:30 Talk about energy. Jordan Brewer brings

1:59:32 it every single night and you see why

1:59:35 right there. Gets himself into scoring

1:59:38 position. Another bang bang play at the

1:59:41 plate where the ball comes out of the

1:59:43 glove. Looks like he would have been

1:59:45 safe either way. That's a loco point and

1:59:47 we're going loco all the way from the

1:59:49 beach to Tallahassee to Frisco and

1:59:52 everywhere in between. I think everybody

1:59:55 in the state of Florida thought for a

1:59:56 moment that Jordan Brewer had just put

1:59:59 two on the board and gotten the Coconuts

2:00:01 a little more history. Instead,

2:00:04 he'll go to second on an RBI double.

2:00:07 >> Now he's surfing on the bases, doing

2:00:08 anything he can to mess with Hmel's mojo

2:00:11 on the bump.

2:00:12 >> This is where Johnny had some issues

2:00:14 last weekend. Can he find a way to

2:00:16 navigate out of this and just limit the

2:00:18 damage to one? Osberg high to right

2:00:20 field. Might not do anything. Darren

2:00:23 McDall just brings it in. And so

2:00:26 would have been a massive trick play

2:00:28 opportunity. Instead, they just get out

2:00:30 of the inning. It's four to four. And

2:00:32 now a huge bottom half for the Loco

2:00:36 Beach Coconuts comes up. They lead it

2:00:38 one- nothing

2:00:40 >> and the trick play is on the table. I am

2:00:45 plused out of my mind. So is the young

2:00:46 professor on the field.

2:00:48 >> We are going to light up the city of

2:00:51 Tallahassee right now with a brand new

2:00:54 tradition and we're going to need you

2:00:56 all to sing along. Get them up in the

2:00:58 air. Here we go.

2:01:10 As we go

2:01:14 as we roll down

2:01:19 road

2:01:38 home.

2:01:50 Don't make the demons

2:02:00 down.

2:02:13 Banana Banana Nation, we make

2:02:30 >> Live from Florida State, Dick Cowser

2:02:32 Stadium. night one of the 2026

2:02:35 Banana Ball World Tour. And back for his

2:02:38 first time as a banana baller, but not

2:02:40 his first time in the Bananas

2:02:42 organization is former CPL guy Zack

2:02:44 Smith. AJ said he couldn't be happier to

2:02:46 just be playing a sport that he loves

2:02:49 again. He stepped away to take a

2:02:51 coaching role at Aene Christian, but now

2:02:54 finds himself back in his playing

2:02:56 career. Sixth round pick by Mark Croco

2:02:58 in the Coconuts is a guy who won the

2:03:00 2016 offensive player of the year award

2:03:02 in football for a state runner up team

2:03:05 in high school. He's got a very talented

2:03:08 right arm. And if he can keep the

2:03:09 firefighters off the board, this could

2:03:11 be tied with the equalizer point. Dina

2:03:14 trying to go for something now. You see

2:03:15 the fire launcher right behind him. That

2:03:18 could be setting up for something real

2:03:19 special here. If the firefighters wanted

2:03:22 to really go complete loco brain, you

2:03:25 could easily just strike out three times

2:03:27 and ensure you don't get any sort of sh

2:03:31 situation for the coconuts to get a

2:03:32 trick play. Almost excuse my French, but

2:03:34 Peanut goes right through the gap and

2:03:36 into left field for a base knock. Okay,

2:03:38 so worst case scenario for Loco Beach is

2:03:40 a walk-off before they get a trick play

2:03:42 because now with the runner on, a big

2:03:44 fly is essentially a three-point swing

2:03:49 because it negates the equalizer point.

2:03:51 It negates the run that the Coconuts

2:03:53 have on the board here and it would give

2:03:55 the firefighters a point. So, this is

2:03:57 just a massive look for a guy who's

2:03:58 already been doing it all.

2:03:59 >> But who else could you ask for than

2:04:01 Armando as he launches that one into

2:04:03 left field? Tanner Allen going for it.

2:04:05 Back, back, back. AND HE MISSED THE

2:04:07 TRICK PLAY. PEANUT ON HIS WAY TO THIRD.

2:04:10 Armando ripping TOWARDS SECOND. HE'LL

2:04:12 SLIDE ON IN. And another missed trick

2:04:14 play opportunity. Puts two on in scoring

2:04:16 position for the Fighters.

2:04:18 >> It's the right idea. Tough execution. I

2:04:21 mean, these guys make it look easy, but

2:04:22 that is a really tough play. And now,

2:04:25 here we go. I mean, this is it right

2:04:27 here. Every run counts for a point in

2:04:28 the ninth, but if the firefighters walk

2:04:30 this off, uh-oh.

2:04:32 >> Dton Cornette sends that one over us.

2:04:35 Back behind the press box. Dalton

2:04:38 Cornette a powerful swing. He can launch

2:04:41 one. Get a run home and that would deny

2:04:45 one point for the Coconuts. And with no

2:04:47 out, it's dangerous territory.

2:04:50 Excuse me. Swing goes right by Cory Pie.

2:04:52 Back in Tallahassee, a couple years at

2:04:54 Tallahassee Community College. In fact,

2:04:55 coach Christian Dearman and Logan Lacy

2:04:59 Cornet looks at one high. It's been a

2:05:01 little bit of a homecoming for a lot of

2:05:02 people here in Tallahassee tonight.

2:05:05 >> Cornet another launcher into the back

2:05:07 stop.

2:05:08 >> You see the Coconuts defense playing

2:05:10 inside the dirt. That's because there's

2:05:11 runners in scoring position with nobody

2:05:13 away. They've only got the one-run

2:05:15 cushion.

2:05:16 >> Wow. Dangerous opportunity there for

2:05:18 Peanut, but he just decides to stick it

2:05:20 third on the pass ball. But now 3-2 ball

2:05:23 four sprint would bring in the winning

2:05:26 run for the firefighters and that would

2:05:28 ensure they win the inning and deny the

2:05:30 equalizer point. And Dalton Cornett just

2:05:32 continues to find life.

2:05:34 >> Super high leverage spot. Just have to

2:05:36 go to the pitch you trust to locate the

2:05:38 zone most.

2:05:40 >> Cornette high to right field. Gideon

2:05:42 Anel chasing back. Does he have

2:05:44 something?

2:05:46 Caught it barehanded.

2:05:48 Here comes Peanut. That will deny the

2:05:51 point.

2:05:53 >> Now we wait for the scoring. That was a

2:05:55 bare-handed catch with both hands. It is

2:05:57 a trick play.

2:05:59 >> And so the Coconuts will be the winner

2:06:02 of the first ever equalizer point in the

2:06:04 2026 Banana Ball season. However,

2:06:08 firefighters still very much in life.

2:06:10 And look who could bring home the inning

2:06:12 winning run. The Florida State guy,

2:06:14 Logan Lacy.

2:06:17 Just one run is needed to make this

2:06:19 again potentially a two-point game.

2:06:22 >> Ashby Vining goes between his legs. I'm

2:06:24 just still so impressed by the

2:06:26 creativity Gideon Antel brings to the

2:06:28 outfield. He brings something new to the

2:06:29 plate every single day.

2:06:31 >> By the way, listen to the crowd. They're

2:06:33 all starting to do the FSU chop here for

2:06:36 Logan Lacy. They are trying to will this

2:06:37 one into life.

2:06:39 >> And he gets punched out.

2:06:41 >> Zack Smith says, "Take your

2:06:43 sentimentality back to the dugout.

2:06:47 First strike out as a coconut for Zack

2:06:49 Smith. He needs more of where this came

2:06:51 from. Nice frame job on the back end

2:06:53 from Ashb Vining to pull it back over

2:06:55 the plate. Just got the outside edge of

2:06:57 the zone. And now this is a very big

2:07:00 spot. You have to find the zone. Good

2:07:02 job to get ahead because of all four

2:07:03 sprint would give the firefighters a

2:07:05 two-point lead.

2:07:08 >> The firefighters would be sorely

2:07:09 disappointed if they get two runners on

2:07:11 third and only can bring one home. Can

2:07:14 it denies as EJ sends this one into the

2:07:17 sky. Does anybody in the fans have a

2:07:18 chance to get it? Nope.

2:07:23 >> You can already see the equalizer point

2:07:25 given out. So, the score is 4-3

2:07:28 as we would go to the bottom or top of

2:07:30 the ninth.

2:07:31 EJ right back to second base. Over to

2:07:35 first. JD Erso goes

2:07:38 and it's a tie inning in the eighth, but

2:07:41 the Coconuts get the equalizer points

2:07:44 and it's a one-run game going to the

2:07:45 ninth. AJ Switzac,

2:07:46 >> could you write it any better? I mean,

2:07:48 this is why I love Banana Ball. Another

2:07:50 reason, young professor down on the

2:07:52 field, he continues to kill it. Let's

2:07:53 tune in.

2:07:54 >> The equalizer point, the score here

2:07:57 heading into this inning is four points

2:08:00 for the firefighters to three points for

2:08:02 the Loco Beach Coconuts. But here's the

2:08:05 thing about the game of Banana Ball. In

2:08:07 the final inning, every run counts for a

2:08:10 point. That means the Coconuts are

2:08:12 looking to strike here and pick up their

2:08:15 first win in Banana Ball history. On the

2:08:18 other hand, the Firefighters need just

2:08:21 three OUTS TO LOCK DOWN THE FIRST WIN OF

2:08:25 THE SEASON AT THEIR HOME OPENER. SO

2:08:28 LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF TALLAHASSEE,

2:08:31 LET'S GET LOUD BECAUSE THIS IS THE FINAL

2:08:36 INVE.

2:08:52 Got that lightning inside me, son of a

2:08:55 gun.

2:08:57 I'm like a titan that's rising. Oh, just

2:09:00 you watch.

2:09:03 I'm stepping into f. There is no time to

2:09:07 waste. I've got that lightning inside

2:09:10 me. This is how legends are made.

2:09:17 Oh,

2:09:22 this is how legend are made. Oh,

2:09:33 this is how legends are made.

2:09:39 Ladies and gentlemen,

2:09:42 now pitching for the firefighters,

2:09:45 the closer number 18, Ben D.

2:09:58 From the ashes rises the closer for the

2:10:01 firefighters, the reigning and now

2:10:04 defending Banana Ball pitcher of the

2:10:07 year, Ben Dum III. You look at those

2:10:10 numbers. 3 minutes 12 seconds on the

2:10:12 bump. Tied for the best in the sport of

2:10:15 banana ball. Last World Tour with his

2:10:18 new teammate Zack Phillips. That erra

2:10:21 1.69, the best ever in the sports

2:10:24 history. He does not give you any

2:10:26 freebies. four ball, four sprints. But

2:10:29 now tonight, the firefighters leading

2:10:32 off the banana ball championship league.

2:10:34 Does the best pitcher in the sport

2:10:37 deliver them the opening night win? For

2:10:40 the first time, the firefighters playing

2:10:42 this early. Can Ben Dum the third, the

2:10:44 mustachioed mer find a way to get it

2:10:47 done? The reigning pitcher of the year.

2:10:50 Top of the ninth. This truly is how

2:10:52 legends are made. You couldn't write it

2:10:53 up any better. in the Loco Beach

2:10:56 Coconut's first ever game in the Banana

2:10:58 Ball Championship League. They face off

2:11:00 against an elite athlete and they are

2:11:03 going to have to earn it. It'll be Dane

2:11:06 Toofflin to face him first as fire goes

2:11:08 up. Flames everywhere. Fireballs,

2:11:12 trucks, big red. Final inning underway

2:11:16 again. The firefighters just need three

2:11:18 outs with no damage done. Toofflin

2:11:20 thought about it on a nasty slider.

2:11:26 They're playing Chavevel here in this

2:11:28 park. It's three to one. Ben Dump

2:11:30 thought that was a strike.

2:11:32 >> Instead, it might be a leadoff ball for

2:11:34 Sprint for Dane Toofflin, but he swings

2:11:36 at strike two.

2:11:42 A massive, MASSIVE PAYOFF PITCH. AND HE

2:11:46 CAUGHT HIM. RING HIM UP AND FIRE HIM

2:11:49 DOWN. BEN,

2:11:50 >> that's why he's so special. went down in

2:11:53 the count early, but not down for the

2:11:55 count. Ben Dum picks up right where he

2:11:57 left off last season. Got him just

2:12:00 underneath it. And it brings up Gideon

2:12:02 Antel.

2:12:04 GO. GET OUT. GET OUT. GIDEON ANTEL TIES

2:12:08 THE BALL GAME. ARE YOU KIDDING? THE

2:12:11 FIRST HOME RUN IN LOCO BEACH HISTORY.

2:12:15 And we're going Loco. IT'S A FRESH BALL

2:12:18 GAME FROM THE BEACH.

2:12:24 LET'S DO THE CONGA

2:12:28 >> AND GO LOCO BABY.

2:12:32 BIG PLAYERS HITTING BIG MOMENTS and

2:12:34 Gideon Antel did just that and more.

2:12:44 >> Dian

2:12:48 Diddian the equalizer point. the home

2:12:50 run to tie it up. Explain it.

2:12:52 >> I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT, MAN. I'M PLAYING OUT

2:12:54 OF MY MIND RIGHT NOW. THIS IS BANANA

2:12:56 BALL, BABY. LET'S GO.

2:12:58 >> IT'S NOT DONE YET. AJ ZACK, LET'S KEEP

2:13:00 IT GOING.

2:13:01 >> LOGAN Lac

2:13:02 >> Logan Lacy with a quick throw over to

2:13:04 first

2:13:06 to ensure Ashby Vining is down. And now

2:13:11 something special is happening. AJ

2:13:12 Switzk.

2:13:16 >> Ladies and gentlemen, gentlemen, the

2:13:18 Loco Beach Coconuts are invoking the

2:13:22 golden batter rule. Hitting in the place

2:13:25 of Payton Shatany is the Coconuts GOLDEN

2:13:30 BATTER. PLEASE WELCOME BIG BEN PARKER.

2:13:38 We just got our first home run in Loco

2:13:41 Beach history. Now with the honor of

2:13:43 being the first ever golden batter in

2:13:46 the club's history, it is Ben Pumps

2:13:49 Parker.

2:13:51 Tie game, ninth inning. And Parker's up

2:13:54 there ready to give it a ride. Follows

2:13:57 it off on the left side. It's 01. The

2:13:59 firefighters have to be just in sheer

2:14:01 shock right now. You go to the best

2:14:03 pitcher in the sport voted on last year

2:14:07 and Gideon Antel a newbie in the sport

2:14:09 unloads and ties the game up after an

2:14:11 equalizer point.

2:14:14 >> Parker right back up the middle and will

2:14:16 keep going. It's exactly why you use the

2:14:18 golden batter. Ben Parker keeps the line

2:14:20 moving. He hit him in place of Payton

2:14:23 shot. And just like that, the go ahead

2:14:26 run is on with Grady Morgan coming to

2:14:28 the plate. This is that momentum. You

2:14:30 can feel it right now on the beach.

2:14:33 >> Firefighters just desperately trying to

2:14:35 get out of the inning. Remember the

2:14:36 trick plays now are for the love of the

2:14:38 game. Not for the equalizer points. And

2:14:40 boy, again, it shows how massive that

2:14:43 is. And it was such a tight tight window

2:14:46 throughout the game, but the Coconuts

2:14:48 get it out in the eighth inning. Morgan

2:14:51 takes one inside. Almost got hit by it.

2:14:55 The 1-1 count. Ben Parker on first. No

2:14:58 use yet for Armani Henderson.

2:15:02 Morgan thought about it. Did not go.

2:15:07 And this is one of the rarities for Ben

2:15:08 Dumb giving up something like that. How

2:15:11 does he respond to his first bit of

2:15:13 adversity in 2026?

2:15:16 Morgan launches that one across the

2:15:18 street to Dope Campbell Stadium.

2:15:22 Might have broken the bat, too. He did.

2:15:30 You wonder too now we talked about how

2:15:33 important it was for the firefighters to

2:15:35 get that runner home from third. Armando

2:15:36 Bisera now it's massive

2:15:41 2-2

2:15:45 3-2 count ball for sprint on the chance

2:15:47 here. Ben Parker can run too with a full

2:15:50 head of steam. He may just head for

2:15:51 home.

2:15:54 >> Morgan stays alive.

2:15:57 tries to find Anthony Marks down there.

2:15:59 Won't do it.

2:16:14 >> Checks over on Parker. Clearly safe.

2:16:17 >> Ben Tom,

2:16:20 >> it's a ball for sprint. Parker was well

2:16:22 off.

2:16:25 He is running for all his might. HE'S

2:16:26 GOING HOME. THE BALL GOT INTO CENTER

2:16:28 FIELD. PARKER SCORES.

2:16:32 >> Roco Beach has the lead, baby. Are you

2:16:36 kidding me? Ben Parker NEVER A SECOND

2:16:40 THOUGHT ALL THE WAY HOME. AND THE LOCO

2:16:44 BEACH Coconuts have come back and taken

2:16:47 the lead in the ninth.

2:16:51 It is all gone the way of the coconuts

2:16:55 >> and the firefighters have fallen apart

2:16:58 here in the ninth inning.

2:17:02 Parker got a great jump off of first and

2:17:05 it might have spooked him. That one goes

2:17:07 high up and right now Ben Dum just has

2:17:10 to find some center here. They cannot

2:17:12 give up another run.

2:17:16 It's a two- count.

2:17:20 Check back at first. It is Armani

2:17:22 Henderson over at second. I beg your

2:17:24 pardon. Not first. He does something

2:17:26 with his butt in the air.

2:17:32 Inside.

2:17:35 It goes without saying, you can't issue

2:17:37 a sprint here. One run deficit's enough.

2:17:40 I I can't believe this. The Coconuts are

2:17:42 giving the reigning pitcher of the year

2:17:43 all he can handle.

2:17:45 >> Inside.

2:17:47 That is a strike. Now again, he can step

2:17:48 out of the box because he thought it was

2:17:49 a ball for sprint. That won't be any

2:17:51 harm or any foul to JD Erso.

2:17:54 Been dumb. If he's got two pitches or a

2:17:56 pitch right now that he can just

2:17:57 absolutely deliver, he's got to find it.

2:18:00 And he gets JD Erso hacking. 32 massive

2:18:04 full count.

2:18:11 Stays alive.

2:18:14 What a ninth inning and a second half of

2:18:16 the game this has been for the Loco

2:18:18 Beach Coconuts.

2:18:21 And again, that third base stranded in

2:18:25 the bottom of the eighth for the

2:18:26 Firefighters loom so large and another

2:18:28 ball for Sprint.

2:18:32 Armani Henderson slides in and it's a

2:18:35 threerun ninth for the Loco Beach

2:18:38 Coconuts. And I hate to be the bearer of

2:18:40 bad news for firefighters fans out

2:18:42 there, but they're going to have to deal

2:18:43 with CJ Williams when this is all said

2:18:45 and done, too. A closer who slams doors

2:18:48 in the face of the opposition. Ben

2:18:50 Parker took full advantage in a two-out

2:18:52 spot as the golden batter. Now finds

2:18:54 himself right back up there, catching

2:18:56 his breath after sprinting from first to

2:18:58 home and scoring that go-ahead run.

2:19:00 >> Erso goes and right now Ben just cannot

2:19:03 find the strike zone. Just not there.

2:19:06 You wonder how much the home run from

2:19:08 Gideon Anel rattled him, but even then a

2:19:10 two strike

2:19:13 two strike single from Ben Parker might

2:19:16 have got to him as Noah Bridges brings

2:19:18 it in. It's the third out, but the

2:19:20 firefighters have a lot to work back

2:19:24 from.

2:19:26 What a ninth inning for the Loco Beach

2:19:28 Coconuts.

2:19:31 A tying home run from Gideon Antel.

2:19:34 absolutely unloading a three-run inning.

2:19:37 >> Gideon Antel got the horse started after

2:19:39 that. We were off to the races. Get

2:19:41 familiar with Loco Beach, folks, because

2:19:43 this is just the tip of the iceberg of

2:19:45 what this team's going to do all season

2:19:47 long. We're bringing the beach to you.

2:19:48 We're also bringing a lot of wins to you

2:19:50 and CJ Williams looks to come out and

2:19:52 make sure that he can close out just

2:19:54 that.

2:19:55 >> And you have to think now the

2:19:56 firefighters are going to use at least

2:19:58 someone here in the golden bat

2:19:59 situation. The top four has been so

2:20:02 good. They have got to find a way to get

2:20:05 two runs on.

2:20:07 Firefighters were up four to one at one

2:20:10 point after a Tiner's home run and since

2:20:12 then they have not been able to protect.

2:20:16 Left a runner stranded and now that

2:20:18 runner looms so large a trick play

2:20:21 potentially missed or a trick play left

2:20:24 out there on the field becomes so

2:20:26 massive as CJ Williams comes in for his

2:20:28 first bit of work. JJ,

2:20:30 >> well, I spent all this time talking

2:20:31 about Ben Dum the third, rightfully so.

2:20:33 And you know, you don't want to give the

2:20:35 announcers jinx twice, but I'm going to

2:20:36 do it. That's how confident I am in CJ.

2:20:38 He's wearing the bandana. He rocks the

2:20:40 number zero. And from everything that

2:20:42 this kid brought to the table in spring

2:20:44 training, it was clear that he is what

2:20:47 you look for in a closer. He's going to

2:20:48 have a tall task right off the bat. The

2:20:50 lights are out and you know what that

2:20:51 means.

2:20:53 >> Golden at bat time here at Dick Hower

2:20:55 Stadium. The firefighters with a lot of

2:20:57 work to do.

2:20:59 Who do they choose? Well, the lights

2:21:02 came back on for a minute. Just we

2:21:04 wanted to build the anticipation.

2:21:06 >> I think Peter Colada is down on the

2:21:09 field now. Golden bat opportunity.

2:21:11 >> The firefighters are invoking the golden

2:21:15 batter rule. Hitting in the place of

2:21:18 Darien McDow is the firefighters golden

2:21:23 batter. PLEASE WELCOME Logan

2:21:27 Lacy.

2:21:36 Inter Sandman Blaires as Logan Lacy

2:21:40 steps up one more time. Does he have

2:21:43 something here for his hometown fans?

2:21:48 Hasn't been able to find it totally yet

2:21:50 at the plate. A double midway through

2:21:53 the game is all the work he's gotten.

2:21:55 Tried to check that one back. Didn't

2:21:57 matter. Swung at it. Strike one.

2:22:00 18 homers while wearing the garnet and

2:22:02 gold here in Tallahassee. He would love

2:22:04 to hit one more out of his hometown

2:22:06 park. But right now in a one-two hole

2:22:09 against a pitcher who is absolutely

2:22:11 confident in himself.

2:22:19 One, two, Lacy back up.

2:22:27 >> CJ Williams showed no fear of the party

2:22:30 animals in Louisville when he close them

2:22:31 out. Does he have something here? Check

2:22:33 swing. They appeal down. Seth Markham

2:22:36 says no.

2:22:39 Inner Sandman continues going.

2:22:45 Lacy swings and misses.

2:22:50 >> Way out in front of it. CJ Williams

2:22:54 so nice. It made him see it twice.

2:22:57 Seeing double at the plate. CJ Williams

2:23:00 says, "Yeah, it's your re reunion. I

2:23:02 don't care. This is my debut and I'm

2:23:04 going to make the fans remember me." Now

2:23:06 the firefighters without the advantage

2:23:09 of a golden at bat have got to find

2:23:11 something in the back half of the lineup

2:23:13 as Tiner Hughes goes up against his

2:23:14 former visitor teammate and has a 1-1

2:23:17 count.

2:23:20 DMAC on deck. If Tiner's got anything,

2:23:24 he's got to find it now.

2:23:26 Fighters need two runs here in the

2:23:28 bottom half of the ninth to potentially

2:23:31 send it to showdowns.

2:23:34 Can they stay disciplined? That's a foul

2:23:37 ball right past Vincent Chapman. Two two

2:23:39 count.

2:23:54 >> The two Tyler back into the net.

2:24:10 We do it again. Hughes weak chopper to

2:24:13 Dane Tooffler third over to first in

2:24:15 time. Jordan Brewer gets him out and the

2:24:18 firefighters are down to one out.

2:24:21 >> I am so ready to go loco right now. I'm

2:24:23 locoed out of my mind. We're an out away

2:24:26 from the Coconuts, securing a win on

2:24:28 opening night and starting this tour in

2:24:31 style. Ashby Viney says, "Get on your

2:24:33 feet." The fans listen. Everyone stands

2:24:36 up. The vibes are infectious and you can

2:24:38 feel Loco Beach in your heart. No matter

2:24:41 where you're watching this game,

2:24:44 >> Dakota McFaden is the veteran of this

2:24:46 group.

2:24:47 >> He can easily find something, but he's

2:24:50 got to get on base. They can use South

2:24:53 Tremble if they want on base, but right

2:24:54 now D-Mac in an O2 hold. The crowd can

2:24:57 sense the wave crashing.

2:25:01 CJ Williams has worked to perfection

2:25:03 here. 02

2:25:06 GOT HIM. CJ WILLIAMS SECURES THE LOCO

2:25:10 Beach Coconuts. The opening night win.

2:25:14 The first team in Banana Ball history to

2:25:17 win their first game they appear in. And

2:25:21 who else would it be but Loco Beach?

2:25:23 We're going to be catching waves all

2:25:25 season long. And that's a comeback I'll

2:25:27 be talking about well beyond this

2:25:29 season.

2:25:58 POP THE CONFETTI AND SMILE on the sand.

2:26:01 Loco Beach is victorious on opening

2:26:05 night in 2026.

2:26:12 Let's hear what Jesse Cole has to say

2:26:13 about it. Huh.

2:26:17 >> Hear what the fans want to say about it.

2:26:19 Already chanting the name.

2:26:22 >> Fans, you just witnessed the first game

2:26:25 in the history OF THE BANANA BALL

2:26:27 CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE. AND WHAT AN AMAZING

2:26:30 HISTORIC GAME TONIGHT RIGHT here in

2:26:34 Tallahassee.

2:26:36 >> FIRST. FIRST. LET'S HEAR IT. FOR AN

2:26:38 UNBELIEVABLE GAME, THE FIREFIGHTERS.

2:26:46 And coming from behind, WINNING THE

2:26:49 EQUALIZER POINTS in their first game

2:26:53 ever, THE LOCO BEACH Coconuts

2:27:01 fans. We couldn't imagine a better way

2:27:03 to kick off this league. For 11 years,

2:27:06 we've been trying to deliver the

2:27:08 greatest show in sports. And tonight,

2:27:10 WITH YOUR ENERGY, YOUR ELECTRICITY, YOU

2:27:13 BROUGHT IT TONIGHT. AND WE'RE JUST

2:27:15 GETTING STARTED. THANK YOU SO MUCH,

2:27:17 FLORIDA STATE TALLAHASSEE. WE LOVE YOU

2:27:19 GUYS AND WE'LL SEE YOU SOON.

2:27:33 Gideon Antel rightfully the showman of

2:27:36 the game has the first home run in

2:27:39 Coconut's history. His two-handed

2:27:42 bare-handed grab out in right field

2:27:44 secured the team the equalizer point in

2:27:46 the first chance they ever got at it.

2:27:48 And from there, it was no looking back

2:27:50 for the Ant-Man. He brought that Loco

2:27:52 Beach energy from the first pitch and it

2:27:55 helps the Loco Beach Coconuts to an

2:27:57 opening night victory.

2:28:00 >> Gideon Antel showing up big, fast, and

2:28:03 in a hurry and when he needed to. The

2:28:05 showman of the night. First time in

2:28:07 Coconuts history. And here's Sam Bowman

2:28:10 with the showman. Gideon Anel.

2:28:13 >> Zack AJ. You can hear the chance to loco

2:28:16 beach. Loco Beach. Gideon Anel. His late

2:28:19 game heroics. the trick play to

2:28:21 equalizer point, the home run to tie it

2:28:24 up.

2:28:25 >> What is making this team tick? A team

2:28:27 who didn't lead till the ninth inning,

2:28:28 by the way.

2:28:29 >> Oh my gosh, what's making this team

2:28:30 tick? There's so many different things.

2:28:31 Uh, got to give credit to Coach Crocco.

2:28:33 He's glued us together immediately off

2:28:35 the bat. He said it was the Lord's team.

2:28:37 I believe him. Like, he prayed about it

2:28:39 and we're all together. We're all in

2:28:40 this together. I mean, we are we are

2:28:42 stuck like glue, man. That's what's

2:28:44 making us tick. So, we're all pushing

2:28:45 the rock in the same direction. Gideon,

2:28:47 not only the Loco Beach Coconuts first

2:28:49 ever Banana Ball game, your first ever

2:28:51 official Banana Ball game. Put in

2:28:53 perspective what you've just experienced

2:28:56 for yourself personally tonight.

2:28:59 A wave of emotions. I mean, I can't It's

2:29:01 hard to put into words. It was the MOST

2:29:03 FUN I'VE EVER had in my life. It was the

2:29:05 most electric environment I've ever

2:29:06 played in. I mean, I just can't like say

2:29:09 enough good things. I I'm really at a

2:29:11 loss for words to be honest, but it was

2:29:14 just amazing. I don't know what else to

2:29:15 say. I got one final question for you.

2:29:17 Our banana ball backstage. 11-year-old

2:29:19 Jax said he wanted to ask our showman of

2:29:22 the night. Your favorite ice cream real

2:29:24 quick.

2:29:24 >> My favorite ice cream? Cookies and

2:29:26 cream. Not even close. I'll eat that up,

2:29:28 baby. Cookies and cream. A sweet

2:29:30 victory. Coach Kroco. Hey, come bring

2:29:32 get out here, Krocco.

2:29:36 Coach, what can you say about this guy

2:29:38 and this team?

2:29:39 >> Oh, heartbeat guy. We We WANT A GLUE

2:29:41 GUY.

2:29:43 BEAUTIFUL.

2:29:52 >> Come on, Crow. Come on.

2:29:53 >> I'm back. Um, this is a team and that's

2:29:57 ultimately been our goal. We want

2:29:59 something that every one of these fans

2:30:01 feels and they feel their heart and uh,

2:30:03 Gideon is one of many on this team that

2:30:05 has real heart and real grit and I think

2:30:08 that's what Logo Beach is all about.

2:30:10 Honored to coach you, young man. Great

2:30:12 job. Great team win. Tremendous team on

2:30:15 the other side. First class, Coach Val,

2:30:18 the entire staff, all their players.

2:30:20 Banana ball at its best tonight. And

2:30:22 it's only night one. So much more to

2:30:24 come.

2:30:25 >> How long does a night like this stick

2:30:26 with you?

2:30:27 >> Forever. This is the first. This is the

2:30:29 first ever. And uh this young man was

2:30:32 chosen to be a part of that. Uh every

2:30:34 fan here tonight was a part of the first

2:30:36 ever for Loca Beach. And uh we don't

2:30:39 take those opportunities lightly. and uh

2:30:41 Gideon stepped up to the plate in a

2:30:43 major way, but the rest of them did as

2:30:45 well. We never gave in. I just said,

2:30:47 "Keep trusting it. Ride that wave. Ride.

2:30:50 You got to believe. You got to believe.

2:30:52 You got to trust it." And in the end, it

2:30:54 came their way because I believe they're

2:30:55 a family.

2:30:56 >> Coach Kraco, Gideon, go celebrate with

2:30:58 the boys. Try off the wet. It's wet down

2:31:01 here. It's the wave. I think you got us

2:31:02 wet.

2:31:03 >> Exactly. AJ,

2:31:04 >> it's a night that will stick with us

2:31:06 forever. The Loco Beach Coconuts earn a

2:31:10 saltwater bath on Coach Crocco. Gideon

2:31:13 Antel, the showman of the game, loves it

2:31:15 as well. They earned that bath after

2:31:18 coming back down four to one. We're

2:31:20 going loco, baby. We brought the beach

2:31:23 to you and we secured an opening night

2:31:26 win. It shows that the newest team on

2:31:28 the block certainly doesn't play like

2:31:29 the youngest team on the block. They

2:31:31 showed poise, composure. They were

2:31:33 incredible, especially in the back half

2:31:35 of that game. AJ, the firefighters have

2:31:37 had a stigma about him for the last

2:31:38 couple of years that they could not

2:31:40 figure it out once they had everything

2:31:42 figured out. That's not going to be

2:31:44 denied here with a performance at the

2:31:46 end like that, but just as much of a

2:31:48 compliment to the way the Coconuts

2:31:50 approached the last four innings of that

2:31:51 game.

2:31:51 >> I mean, when hearing Mark Croco talk, if

2:31:53 it doesn't get you fired up, I don't

2:31:55 know what to say. That guy has everyone

2:31:58 bought in in the entirety of the

2:31:59 clubhouse. And get this, there are six

2:32:02 teams in Banana Ball. The Coconuts are

2:32:04 now the fifth to have ever played a game

2:32:05 in the sport. The other four all lost

2:32:09 their first game in the league. But Loco

2:32:10 Beach, we do things a little bit

2:32:12 different. We catch a wave, we catch a

2:32:14 vibe, and we catch a dub. They did catch

2:32:16 a dub. And so the firefighters have a

2:32:18 4-1 lead. Ultimately give it up to a

2:32:20 game coconuts team. And that is not all

2:32:22 for this weekend. Tomorrow night, right

2:32:23 back here at Dick Hower Stadium, right

2:32:25 back here on the Banana Ball YouTube

2:32:26 page. It's the Party Animals against the

2:32:29 debuting, re-imagined Indianapolis

2:32:31 Clowns here in the Banana Ball

2:32:33 Championship League. And then on

2:32:34 Saturday, we go across the street.

2:32:36 70,000 of our closest friends at Dope

2:32:38 Campbell Stadium. Can you believe that?

2:32:40 Texas Tailgator against the Savannah

2:32:42 Bananas to close out the Banana Ball

2:32:44 Kickoff event. We're just getting

2:32:45 started and this was an unbelievable way

2:32:47 to get it going.

2:32:47 >> What a way to get the season underway,

2:32:49 Zach. I wouldn't want to share the boost

2:32:51 with anyone else. Seriously, just a

2:32:53 phenomenal evening capped off with a win

2:32:56 and we're going Loco, baby.

2:32:57 >> What an unbelievable night here for the

2:32:58 Loco Beach Coconuts. Our director, the

2:33:01 wonderful Chris Haynes, our producer,

2:33:03 the great Chad Reese, the man calling

2:33:04 the shots down the field, the tremendous

2:33:06 Isaac Pal. For Rex Castillo, Sam Bowman,

2:33:09 the debuting AJ Switech. I'm Zach Stton.

2:33:12 AJ, you want it? Oh, Jose Bonitez, by

2:33:14 the way, he's brilliant, too. You want

2:33:16 it, you take us away, brother.

2:33:18 >> All right, I want you to think about

2:33:19 something. Stand by.

2:33:21 >> There's a standings out there in the

2:33:23 world. There's one team at the top of

2:33:25 those standings. The Loco Beach Coconuts

2:33:28 are in first place and THEY'RE NOT

2:33:30 GIVING IT UP all season long. STOP THE

2:33:32 COUNT. WE'RE GOING LOCO. ONE AND0, BABY.

2:33:35 THAT'S HOW YOU START THE SEASON. We'll

2:33:37 see you tomorrow night.

2:33:43 >> Good job, man.

2:34:30 Took

2:34:32 turn.
