5:16 SHOWTIME!

5:18 NEVER [music] IN MY wildest dreams did I

5:19 imagine just headlining a MLB stadium.

5:22 The guess continues to rake for the boys

5:24 in black AND PINK. X COMES THROUGH IN

5:26 THE CLUTCH. IT'S A 4-3 GAME GOING TO THE

5:29 NINTH. HE IS THE HOTTEST MAN in this

5:31 sport.

5:32 >> He's got a reservation for two at THE

5:34 CHOP HOUSE.

5:35 HEY JAKE, it's uh Coach Smart, your old

5:38 ball coach from UGA.

5:40 Um just wanted to send you a little

5:41 message to tell you how proud we are of

5:43 you and your family, how well you

5:45 represented University of Georgia and

5:47 all done.

5:48 Who would have thought it, man?

5:50 Ross will be T kid playing in Truist

5:54 Park, home of the Atlanta Braves.

5:56 So proud of you, man. Just all you've

5:59 accomplished.

6:00 And we'll see you soon.

6:02 Go Dawgs.

6:11 >> [screaming]

6:17 >> WHAT AN EMOTIONAL MOMENT. AND Kirby

6:19 Smart SAID NO ONE BETTER

6:22 AT HELPING CREATE CULTURE in Athens,

6:24 Georgia than Jake Scott. And to be here

6:26 tonight TO HONOR HIM.

6:31 JUST AN INCREDIBLE

6:38 AND WE ARE LIVE. CURIOUS, which team

6:41 will eclipse Mount Rainier in a banana

6:43 ball rubber match at its base? Following

6:45 a game with a league record eight home

6:47 runs in last night's soirée, these

6:49 [music] two teams are hitting at an

6:50 elite level and the entertainment is

6:52 just as hot. It's a stand-alone contest

6:55 in the Pacific Northwest. [music]

6:56 There's nowhere else to go in banana

6:58 ball today than right here. Welcome to

7:02 Tacoma, Washington. And welcome inside

7:04 the Rage Cage. I'm Drake Toll here to

7:06 hold your hand or your beer as the 11

7:08 and 12 Party Animals meet the 8 and 15

7:10 Indianapolis Clowns. You are watching

7:12 the Banana Ball Championship League

7:14 commercial-free on YouTube. And I can

7:17 only hope we get half the fireworks we

7:19 saw 15 hours ago. These two squads

7:21 combined for 33 runs in an 8-6 victory

7:25 for the Indianapolis Clowns, making

7:26 today a must-win to take Tacoma. Lock

7:29 in. It's Sunday afternoon and the

7:31 greatest party in sports live on your

7:33 TV. But let's go unlive to yesterday's

7:37 game. Yeah, exactly. Well, I wasn't

7:38 kidding. Whole lot of home runs. Dale

7:40 Francis Jr. His first [music] of the

7:43 evening came in the second inning to

7:44 give the Indianapolis Clowns the point

7:46 in that inning. Then Nico Hulkenberg

7:49 Please, no. Seven runs in the third, but

7:52 a shirtless Andy Cosgrove tarps off long

7:55 ball to left wasn't enough. Clowns go up

7:57 two to one, but still a highlight, no

7:59 doubt. [music] Dale Francis Jr.

8:02 home runs knocked one to right field

8:04 near the Deciduous. And Andy Cosgrove

8:07 Oh.

8:08 Two home runs for himself [music]

8:09 back-to-back innings with bombs for Cos

8:11 in a two-to-two game. Joe Gray Jr. His

8:15 second home run of the series. Are you

8:16 Are you seeing a trend?

8:18 a trend against the world's first

8:19 pitching mascot? Jake Schull goes long

8:22 ball and then Andy Cosgrove makes

8:24 history.

8:27 Cosgrove!

8:28 Left field!

8:30 >> [cheering]

8:30 >> He is the first PLAYER

8:32 IN THE INDIANAPOLIS CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE

8:34 HISTORY

8:35 WITH THREE HOME

8:36 >> [cheering]

8:36 >> RUNS IN a ballgame!

8:38 And he does IT

8:40 JUST AWAY

8:40 >> [cheering]

8:41 >> FROM HIS HOMETOWN.

8:44 RIGHT HERE IN TACOMA,

8:46 WASHINGTON.

8:47 >> [cheering]

8:51 >> BOY, HE IS HOT. Andy's really good at

8:53 banana ball, but in the eighth inning,

8:54 which would become the final inning,

8:56 here's Joe Lyall striking for a couple.

8:58 Welcome back. His first [music] starts

9:00 this weekend in a month due to injury

9:02 and the Clowns two runs in the inning of

9:04 [music] Koral Prime pop out. That should

9:07 help the Party Animals already have one

9:09 out in the Well, dude, that Wait a

9:10 second. Oh, no. No, not good. Then Jason

9:13 Swan throws this away and all of a

9:16 sudden the clock's ticking down and the

9:18 Clowns keep scoring runs. That's a

9:20 problem. The inning would end the time

9:22 would expire in the inning, I should

9:24 say, making it an 8-3 game where the

9:26 Party Animals would score three runs

9:28 making it an 8-6 final. Funky one and

9:31 the Clowns get a victory with Jake

9:33 Schull unable to come to the plate as

9:35 the golden batter. But Andy Cosgrove was

9:37 the story last night and talked to Rex

9:39 postgame. This might honestly be the

9:41 most special game of my entire baseball

9:44 career. I'm 29 years old. The homecoming

9:46 thing is obviously makes it special as

9:48 it is, and I've never hit three home

9:49 runs in a game before in my entire life,

9:51 so

9:52 the combination of those two things with

9:53 my dad, my mom, my fiance, some other

9:56 family members here to watch, and

9:59 that going down, obviously I would have

10:00 liked to get that W. It's definitely a

10:02 special night.

10:06 Cosgrove, a consummate professional last

10:09 night,

10:10 and history in the Banana Ball

10:11 Championship League joins Jake Skole and

10:13 Reese Hampton as the only three players

10:15 in the sport

10:16 >> [music]

10:16 >> to hit three home runs in a game, the

10:17 first to do it in a baseball stadium as

10:19 opposed to a football stadium. And what

10:22 What do you want me to talk about here?

10:23 Well, you know, like what What do you

10:24 want me to say? 33 combined runs, 30

10:26 combined hits, 17 trick plays between

10:28 the two teams, and eight points combined

10:32 in the eighth inning. Dale Francis Jr.,

10:34 Andy Cosgrove, and Joe Lidle were all

10:36 stars last night. Speaking of last

10:39 night, let's take [music] you 1,500

10:41 miles east, Knoxville, Tennessee. Wish

10:43 that I was on a Rocky Top.

10:46 101,000 [music]

10:48 fans, packed house for the Savannah

10:51 Bananas hosting the Texas Tailgaters.

10:53 And it's anybody better in a big venue.

10:55 Robert Anthony Cruise, we call him Rack.

10:59 Big bomb, walk-off, left field, game

11:02 tied, one [music] point a piece, and

11:04 Alvin Kamara. Kamara, Saints legend,

11:07 Tennessee Vols legend, comes in to pinch

11:09 run later in the contest when all Dan

11:11 over's

11:13 short [music] porch seat. Kamara would

11:16 score a run. Bananas are up three points

11:18 [music]

11:19 to one. Surely they'll close the game

11:20 out, right? Uh wait a second. Against

11:23 Kelsie Whitmore,

11:24 Waddy Wo Watson, watch out. Big fly.

11:29 Tailgaters win the inning. It's now

11:30 three to two. They would win the eighth

11:32 and get the equalizer. They have a four

11:34 to three lead in the ninth inning. Bases

11:37 loaded for Reese Alexiades, two out, and

11:39 Reese on Reese crime. Reese Miller,

11:41 close it and a pop-up trick play for

11:44 good measure. Sunshine closes the ball

11:47 game. Tailgaters two and 0 in stadiums

11:49 with 100,000 or more. Oh, in Scranton,

11:52 Pennsylvania? What Wait, wait. Scranton?

11:55 What? The Electric City. You don't want

11:57 to mix water with electricity, by the

11:59 way. It was a really rainy one last

12:01 night and the Coconuts in the ninth

12:02 inning

12:03 just

12:04 Johnny Hummell, they got to him. Hummell

12:06 couldn't find the grip in the moisture.

12:09 Coconuts would rally for three points in

12:11 the ninth. Pop-up Armando Bacero to Sal

12:14 Giacalone, party animal on party animal

12:16 crime, and 5-3 the Nuts sweep the

12:19 Firefighters in the Northeast. Let's

12:22 give you a look at that series recap.

12:24 The equalizer on both nights for Mark

12:26 Racco's team added points to his squad's

12:29 ledger and the first sweep for that team

12:31 since They beat the Party Animals in

12:33 March.

12:34 And here's the full recap of the

12:35 weekend. Thursday, Friday, Saturday,

12:37 Sunday. I know my days of the week.

12:40 This is the standalone. The Party

12:42 Animals and Clowns today the only Banana

12:43 Ball game, but what a week it's [music]

12:45 been. Tailgaters Banana Split, Coconuts

12:48 sweep the Firefighters, and the winner

12:49 of the game today will take Tacoma.

12:54 With that hodgepodge of seven games that

12:56 you see there, we have to rework our

12:58 standings in the Banana Ball

13:00 Championship League. Now, as you know,

13:02 the Texas Tailgaters have already

13:04 clinched their spot in the Banana Ball

13:06 Championship League playoffs because

13:08 they won the Banana Ball Open. Good. The

13:11 Party Animals, Coconuts, Bananas,

13:13 Firefighters, Clowns, all fighting for a

13:15 top four spot to make the post-season.

13:18 Right now, the Animals are above that

13:20 cutoff line. You see it marked in red.

13:22 Firefighters and Clowns, if the playoff

13:24 started today, would be outside looking

13:27 in. So, every win, even in the middle

13:29 [music] of this season, I I I'm I know

13:32 that the game on May 24th matters just

13:34 as [music] much as the game on September

13:35 24th, and that's why the Animals want to

13:37 win Tacoma today.

13:40 What a scene it is. Well, that's a light

13:42 post, but what A SCENE IT IS. Here the

13:44 Clowns versus the Party Animals in

13:46 Tacoma. 6,000 500 of our closest friends

13:49 and

13:50 >> [music]

13:50 >> wait a second. Make it 6,525.

13:54 Here they come, the Party Animals.

14:01 Direct your attention to left field.

14:03 They're the wildest, craziest, sexiest,

14:06 most outrageous group of animals you'll

14:08 ever lay your eyes on, and they're here

14:10 for just one reason, to

14:13 party.

14:15 Make some noise.

14:18 Fire [music] up the party

14:21 animals.

14:22 >> [screaming]

14:25 >> Tacoma

14:27 >> [music]

14:34 >> Welcome to the jungle.

14:35 >> [music]

14:36 >> We got fun and games.

14:38 We got everything you want.

14:40 We know the names. [music] We are the

14:41 people that you can find

14:43 whatever you may need.

14:45 And if you've got no

14:46 >> [music]

14:47 >> money, honey, we got

14:48 drugs and

14:49 the jungle.

14:50 Welcome to the

14:51 >> [music]

14:54 >> jungle.

14:54 Jungle fever.

14:56 Fever.

14:57 Fever.

14:59 I want to watch you bleed.

15:01 Bleed. Bleed. Bleed. Bleed.

15:20 >> [music]

15:28 [music]

15:38 [music]

15:58 [music]

16:01 >> Tear my life into pieces. THIS IS MY

16:04 LAST RESORT.

16:06 WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE

16:07 GEORGE 2026 PARTY ANIMALS?

16:13 In left field, NUMBER FOUR IN THE

16:15 PROGRAM, NUMBER ONE IN YOUR HEART,

16:18 Tanner Tinder toes.

16:23 In left center field, we going to the

16:25 fish, number 12, Noah

16:28 Fisher.

16:31 In center field, wearing number six,

16:35 Reese Lightning

16:37 Hampton.

16:40 In right center field, he's the rookie,

16:43 number three, T.J.

16:46 Reed.

16:49 In right field, your reigning MVP,

16:54 X

16:55 Shakes Skull.

16:59 In right field, wearing triple nines,

17:03 BIG BOW. [screaming]

17:09 Playing the hot corner, he's our

17:10 fearless leader, number eight, BRYSON

17:13 BLOOMER.

17:18 AT SHORTSTOP, wearing number 11, Chase

17:22 "The Chosen One" Jacob.

17:28 And right behind him, from the 407, Mike

17:32 Valor.

17:36 And second base, THE PARTY ANIMALS' VERY

17:39 OWN LEPRECHAUN, Dustin "The

17:43 Babe" Aber.

17:47 She's the chick with the tricks, number

17:50 one,

17:51 Ashton Landell.

17:57 And first base, wearing number two,

18:01 JASON "THE SWAN"

18:07 AND BEHIND THE PLATE, he's our Love

18:09 Island superstar, NUMBER FIVE,

18:12 ANDY

18:13 COSGROVE.

18:13 >> [cheering]

18:16 >> And we had to end it on Andy Cosgrove,

18:17 because I mean, who's better, right?

18:19 Those are the Party Animals who will

18:20 compete today. There's Dale Francis Jr.,

18:23 cool as a cucumber, sitting in the

18:25 dugout pregame. That's right now, just

18:28 hanging out. And you can hang out after

18:30 you hit two home runs yesterday, and was

18:33 the and were the showman of the night

18:34 [music] for the game. Just this series

18:37 alone, Dale Francis Jr., Joe Lidle,

18:39 Bobby La Day have all been stars. Take

18:42 the extra base hits, the RBI from those

18:45 guys. You have eight extra base hits, a

18:47 total of 13 RBI, and that OPS of 2,381.

18:52 Oh,

18:55 no.

18:56 Dale Francis Jr.'s been unstoppable. The

18:58 five-hole hitter today for the

19:00 Indianapolis Clowns is the name to

19:03 watch.

19:05 Now, a name that we may see, but I could

19:07 be icing his arm, is Peanuts, the

19:10 world's first pitching mascot. Last

19:13 night he was tagged for a 404-foot

19:17 home run from Jake Skull. He's the

19:19 world's first pitching mascot to allow a

19:21 home run. So, I guess that goes in the

19:23 Guinness Book of World Records. [music]

19:25 Thankfully, Rex Castillo checked in with

19:28 Peanuts pregame just to make sure he's

19:30 okay after last night's lapse.

19:38 That's right, Drake. I spoke with

19:39 Peanuts earlier and the rookie was

19:41 excited to come out to Tacoma to see

19:43 what they could do against all of this

19:45 new lineup here, the Party Animals, but

19:47 found out quickly that when you test the

19:48 MVP, X is going to give it to you. Over

19:51 400 ft over the right field wall,

19:53 Peanuts is going to be all right.

19:53 Understands that this is a marathon, not

19:55 a sprint. But, speaking of the MVP, time

19:57 to catch up with X, Jake [music] Skull,

19:59 here. A little bit of a weird night at

20:01 the yard. Had some time to think about

20:03 it. What what is going through your head

20:04 this morning? Yeah, I mean, it's been

20:06 two long nights of uh

20:09 you know, some some good hitting, some

20:10 good offensive outputs, but uh

20:13 yeah, we're here for a lovely day three

20:15 and uh nowhere else I'd rather be.

20:18 Nowhere else he'd rather be. Also, in a

20:19 place where the Animals could win their

20:20 third straight series in a row. It's

20:22 been an incredible turnaround. How do

20:24 you keep the good times rolling here in

20:25 Tacoma? Yeah, I think it's just

20:27 you know, not putting everything on your

20:29 individual self, you know, letting the

20:31 team be themselves and each guy, you

20:33 know, putting their best foot forward

20:35 and

20:35 and letting the chips fall where they

20:37 may, you know, once it comes uh

20:39 after the eighth inning or ninth inning,

20:40 I guess. There you go. You've played SEC

20:42 football, got drafted in Major League

20:44 Baseball. You've also hit a home run off

20:46 an elephant. Where does that rank in

20:47 your athletic achievements? Yeah, I

20:48 don't think you you start your career

20:50 thinking that you're going to hit a ball

20:52 that far off of a mascot, but um it

20:55 happened. And um yeah, so the journey

20:57 from

20:58 from minor leagues to college football

21:00 to to Bananaland now, it's they're all

21:02 very different in their own ways. But,

21:05 uh I would say this one is probably the

21:06 most fun. Hey, animals, people, don't

21:09 test Rex. Jake, thank you so much.

21:10 Drake, back to you. What I think we need

21:13 Rex, Jake, thank you. Imagine being a

21:15 first round draft pick in Major League

21:17 Baseball and then hitting a home run off

21:20 of a mascot. That is too crazy to dream

21:22 unless you're on Benadryl number four,

21:25 which I am today. The bats have been red

21:27 hot this whole series. [music] 45

21:29 combined runs. Two games, 45 combined

21:33 runs, 33 last night, 12 on Friday. Um we

21:37 expect the exact same thing today.

21:39 Namely in the daytime, the ball is going

21:41 to carry. Can these teams combine for

21:43 more than eight home runs after doing so

21:46 last night? That is the question here in

21:48 Tacoma.

21:52 Now, these party animals are getting

21:53 ready for the game, warming up.

21:56 Trying to keep those good times rolling

21:57 that Rex alluded to. Can they do so, win

21:59 the series, [music] and help their

22:01 standings? First pitch, 15 minutes away.

22:15 >> [music]

22:16 >> In 1989, THEY DISAPPEARED. AND NOW

22:20 THEY'RE BACK. Please welcome the

22:23 original baseball circus, the

22:25 Indianapolis

22:27 Clowns.

22:36 Yeah.

22:38 Yeah, who else really messing with the

22:40 clowns in the route? You know how we get

22:42 down coming through the crowd trying to

22:44 get YOU LOUD.

22:45 >> IT'S ABOUT THAT TIME THAT [singing] WE

22:47 reintroducing what we working with. Let

22:49 me see your hands if you repping

22:51 Indianapolis.

22:53 Yeah, we back and even [music] better.

22:55 Players flipping through the air and

22:57 don't you dare try to catch us. Only

22:58 catches that we making is the ball

23:00 hitting the leather. [music] Now you

23:02 out. Bring them out. Next hitter better

23:04 step up. And stepping [screaming] up is

23:06 how we know when placed under pressure.

23:08 It's resilience. You can feel this.

23:09 Can't nobody do it better, [singing]

23:11 man.

23:11 >> [music]

23:11 >> Y'all, we've been gone way too long.

23:14 But, we back and that's a fact. We the

23:16 clowns and we home.

23:30 Now, shine on, shine on cuz we made from

23:32 the stars.

23:36 You got [music] that magic.

23:40 Oh, yeah. You got it.

23:43 You got that magic. Now, shine on, shine

23:46 on cuz we made from the stars.

23:49 I'm supernatural.

23:51 Oh, yes, indeed. Just ask around, you'll

23:54 find that I'm that rare breed.

23:56 I've done the impossible. They said it

23:58 couldn't be.

24:00 Now, that's the truth. You want proof?

24:02 Just wait and see.

24:04 I got the feeling now

24:06 I can touch the ceiling now.

24:07 Anyway and anyhow, I can do anything.

24:11 Just watch the way I move.

24:13 And every little thing I do,

24:15 you won't believe it till you see it

24:17 right before your very

24:29 >> [music]

24:41 >> Magic.

24:41 >> [music]

24:43 >> Break me off.

24:45 So, come alive and let fly the dark. We

24:48 got that magic.

24:50 >> [music]

24:50 >> Special song.

24:52 Now, shine on, shine [singing] on cuz we

24:54 made from the stars.

24:56 >> [music]

24:58 >> You that magic.

25:02 >> [music]

25:05 >> Oh, yeah, you got it.

25:11 So, don't forget who you are.

25:16 If you [music] can dream it, you can be

25:20 it.

25:21 Just believe it.

25:23 And shine on, SHINE ON.

25:27 WE'LL MAKE THEM A STAR.

25:31 YOU GOT THAT MAGIC.

25:34 >> [music]

25:34 >> YOU got that magic.

25:37 Come on, yeah.

25:40 Now, shine [music] on, shine on, cuz

25:42 we'll make them a star.

25:49 >> [music]

25:49 >> Shine on.

25:54 Now, shine on, shine on, cuz we'll make

25:56 them a It never gets old, Shadow Ball,

25:59 the [music] Indianapolis Clowns

26:00 resurrecting it in 2026, a brand that

26:04 disappeared 37 years ago, but they're

26:06 back, from Correlle Prime to Eric Fox,

26:08 Jackie Bradley Jr., Flash the Kid.

26:11 That team is special.

26:14 And it's an honor to have them here in

26:15 Banana Ball. Look, if you're joining us

26:17 this afternoon,

26:18 you know it's the greatest show in

26:19 sports. You know Banana Ball, but if

26:22 it's your first time, everybody

26:23 remembers their first time. It's time to

26:25 tell you our 11 specific rules of the

26:28 sport of Banana Ball. Here's my boss,

26:30 Jesse Cole.

26:33 Banana Ball is the fastest and most

26:35 entertaining show in sports, and the 11

26:38 rules guarantee the most fans first

26:40 [music] experience every second.

26:41 Unbelievable!

26:43 Welcome to THE BANANA BALL CHAMPIONSHIP

26:45 LEAGUE. Rule number one, win the inning,

26:48 win the point. The team that scores the

26:50 most runs in an inning wins the point.

26:52 IT'S A WALK-OFF WINNER!

26:55 >> [cheering]

26:56 >> Oh my goodness! With the equalizer

26:59 point, trick plays provide the away team

27:01 an opportunity to earn a point going

27:03 into the final inning.

27:04 And in the final inning, every run

27:06 counts as a point.

27:08 Rule number two, Banana Ball has a

27:10 two-hour time limit, guaranteeing that

27:13 every game is fast-paced and

27:15 action-packed.

27:16 Rule number three, no stepping out of

27:18 the batter's box. If you do, it will

27:20 result in a strike. Mack stepped out of

27:22 the box, and because he stepped out of

27:24 the box, That's it! Rule number four, no

27:27 bunting, cuz bunting sucks. If you bunt,

27:30 >> [music]

27:30 >> you'll be thrown out of the game. Rule

27:32 number five, batters can steal first

27:34 base.

27:35 >> Ball three, GETTING IT TAKEN OFF FOR

27:36 FIRST RUN FROM LEROY! IN TIME!

27:39 RULE NUMBER SIX, there's no walks. Walks

27:43 are ball four sprints. The batter can

27:45 advance as far as they want until every

27:47 position player touches the ball. No

27:50 defenders have touched the Banana Ball!

27:52 IT IS A FOUR-BASE SPRINT TO OPEN up the

27:55 ball game! Rule number seven,

27:57 >> [music]

27:57 >> no mound visits.

27:59 Nope.

28:00 Rule number eight, foul balls caught by

28:02 a fan count as an out.

28:10 Rule number nine, the showdown. In

28:13 showdowns, the best of the best face off

28:15 in the biggest moment. One hitter versus

28:18 one pitcher with one fielder behind him,

28:21 and the hitter has to score. Deep to

28:23 right center!

28:24 See

28:25 you

28:26 later!

28:27 Rule number 10, the Banana Ball

28:28 Challenge Rule gives the coaches and

28:31 you, the fans, a chance to impact a call

28:33 on the field.

28:35 Rule number 11, the Golden Batter. Once

28:38 a game, each team can give any player an

28:40 at-bat, regardless of the lineup. This

28:42 offers the biggest matchups on the

28:44 biggest stage. Big on big!

28:47 Game over!

28:48 It's gone!

28:49 It's a

28:50 Let's go!

28:51 Get out of here, ball!

28:53 >> [cheering]

28:53 >> That thing had a family!

28:56 >> [screaming]

28:57 >> And those [music] are the rules of

28:59 Banana Ball.

29:05 Those are the 11 rules of the sport of

29:07 Banana Ball. Thank you, Jesse. Looking

29:08 as good as [music] ever.

29:10 Please say thank you. Please say thank

29:11 you. Please say thank you. And 6,500

29:14 have packed [music] it out. 12:52 and 43

29:17 seconds Pacific Time. The fans are

29:20 warming up here in Tacoma, but I'd be

29:22 remiss if I didn't tell you. In just a

29:23 few days from now, we will witness even

29:25 more [music] history in Banana Ball. We

29:26 showed you a second ago, Knoxville,

29:28 Tennessee, 100,000. Let's show you next

29:31 week and give you a preview. Disney

29:33 ESPN's Wide World of Sports Party

29:35 Animals take on the Cocoa Beach

29:37 Loconuts. The Firefighters and the Texas

29:40 Tailgaters will go to Corpus Christi,

29:42 Texas, on Corpus Christi Bay, Robert

29:44 Earl Keen. And the Bananas and Clowns.

29:46 The [music] first headliner for the

29:47 Clowns in an MLB stadium in Kansas City,

29:49 home of the Royals. Going to be a good

29:51 one. Speaking of a good one, I love that

29:53 guy. [music] Please

29:54 hype intro me, Jake Lealius.

37:30 Drake Toll with you live on BTV and the

37:32 Party Animals YouTube channel

37:34 commercial-free

37:35 for the next 2 hours of this great

37:38 sport. Happy Sunday afternoon across the

37:40 country. Let's introduce you to the two

37:42 teams who are competing today, starting

37:44 with the defense of the Party Animals

37:46 led by Chase Akuff at shortstop in that

37:49 trick play category. He paces the black

37:52 and pink in 2026 [music]

37:54 just as he did last year up until being

37:57 injured mid-season. Akuff a stalwart,

37:59 [music]

38:00 a veteran of the sport. Reese Hampton in

38:02 center field leading all outfielders in

38:04 today's game with 26

38:06 >> [music]

38:06 >> of his own. Bronson Ball home behind the

38:08 dish. He'll catch for Oh, no.

38:11 No, [music] say it ain't so. A man who

38:13 threw eight and two-thirds last weekend

38:16 gave up just one walk-off. [music] It

38:18 was a complete game, the first in Banana

38:21 Ball Championship League history, Brett

38:25 Helton. Helton will tow the rubber at

38:28 6'3, 215

38:31 lb. That righty is as crisp as they come

38:36 in the BBCL.

38:39 A ninth rounder in 2015 to the

38:41 Pittsburgh Pirates out of the University

38:43 of Utah.

38:45 And there are his numbers

38:48 from 8 days ago.

38:50 A 347 MPI. That's why he's the Greek God

38:54 of MPI.

38:55 >> [cheering]

38:56 >> And the first complete game in the sport

38:58 since 2023.

39:00 Just seven hits, one ball four sprint

39:03 >> [cheering]

39:06 >> in that win for the Animals.

39:08 >> [cheering]

39:09 >> And the crowd loves him.

39:12 Are you ready?

39:13 Are you ready? Let's do this one. He'll

39:16 face the Indianapolis Clowns bats that

39:18 feature Jackie Bradley Jr. who yes is a

39:21 two-time World Series winner, but is not

39:23 the story necessarily this weekend given

39:26 the fact that Five Tool Dale Francis Jr.

39:28 struck for two home runs last night.

39:30 Even that one whole Joe Graves Jr. had a

39:32 home run on Friday, home run on

39:34 Saturday. Can he replicate that today?

39:36 But yeah, still the 391 very good for

39:40 the former MLB All-Star and ALCS MVP.

39:43 And we can't forget Joe Lidle. Back in

39:45 the starting lineup for the first time

39:46 this weekend since mid-April, missing

39:48 time with a lower body injury, and

39:50 [music] back in a loud way. Lidle

39:52 batting 439 and his three-for-four

39:55 performance last night certainly did not

39:58 hurt. But we can't begin without AJ

40:01 Curse prompting the crowd to do so. AJ,

40:04 it's time to get Tacoma AJ, these people

40:08 are ready to get this party started. I

40:12 am too. TACOMA,

40:15 THE MOMENT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR HAS

40:18 ARRIVED. IT IS TIME to kick OFF THE

40:21 GREATEST PARTY in sports. We're going to

40:25 count it down to start that patented

40:27 banana ball 2-HOUR TIME LIMIT CLOCK, but

40:30 instead of zero, I need each and every

40:33 one of you to yell, "Start the party!"

40:36 as loud as you can. Here we go. 3 2 1

40:45 >> [cheering]

40:46 >> GOOD AFTERNOON TO TACOMA AND GOOD

40:48 AFTERNOON TO America and good afternoon

40:49 to the world. Good afternoon to America

40:50 and good afternoon to the world.

40:54 Joe Gray Jr.

40:56 The big bat out of the one hole will

40:57 face off against Brett Helton and we are

40:59 underway. Let's play banana ball in

41:02 Tacoma.

41:05 Trey Hudson is the home plate umpire

41:06 today.

41:08 Says ball one, strike one at a 1-1

41:11 count.

41:13 Joe Gray Jr. last night was 1 for 4

41:17 with a ball for a sprint, oh, and a home

41:19 run alongside his three RBI.

41:24 He did strike out twice

41:26 in our eight-inning ballgame.

41:30 Will that same result happen here?

41:32 No, sir.

41:34 Deep to left field, not quite deep

41:36 enough. Tanner Tender Thomas underneath

41:38 it.

41:39 Tanner Tender Thomas completes the play.

41:44 No trick play, but an early out

41:48 for B 10 on the bump.

41:54 Joe Gray Jr. gives way to Jackie Bradley

41:56 Jr. Richmond, Virginia kid.

41:59 Former South Carolina Gamecock turned

42:00 Boston Red Sock.

42:03 Had a stop with the Cape Cod Baseball

42:05 League along the way

42:08 for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

42:14 A lot of baseball in that bat.

42:16 And now a rookie in Banana [music] Ball.

42:17 No one asks more questions.

42:21 He has spent his 23, now 24 games

42:25 soaking it in.

42:30 2-2 from Helton.

42:32 Up the crotch.

42:35 >> [cheering]

42:36 >> Single for Jackie Bradley Jr.

42:40 One for three with a couple of ball four

42:42 sprints last night and an early one for

42:43 one start here.

42:50 Bobby does baseball.

42:54 Well, now Bobby does Banana Ball. Leday!

42:56 Left field! Launched! BOBBY LEDAY! HIS

43:01 SECOND BOMB

43:03 UP TO TACOMA!

43:16 DEATH,

43:18 TAXES,

43:22 home runs.

43:25 Those three things

43:27 all occur at the base of Mount Rainier.

43:36 And the third of those has been the

43:37 story this weekend.

43:44 Joe Lidle,

43:46 foul toward the fans who cannot come up

43:48 with the catch.

43:58 Eight home runs last night.

44:00 It just makes sense to open the game

44:02 with a bomb.

44:05 Lidle, in an attempt to replicate.

44:09 Flies out to left to Tanner Thomas.

44:12 Pete, Pete, you want to do a replay?

44:13 Sure.

44:15 La Day has now hit two home runs on the

44:16 weekend.

44:19 Everybody's got a home run.

44:22 I've hit a home run.

44:23 >> [screaming]

44:24 >> I think Peanuts and Mark Smith are the

44:26 only two guys we're still waiting on.

44:38 Dale Francis Jr.

44:40 had a couple pumps last night.

44:44 This time, liner off the glove of Swan.

44:46 Baylor can't collect it. That's a single

44:50 for Dale Francis Jr.

44:52 Official statistician Riley Turner

44:54 making it clear that even if Baylor had

44:56 come up with the ball cleanly, he likely

44:58 does not have time to get Dale Francis

45:01 at first base.

45:06 So, the third hit of the frame

45:09 for the Indianapolis Clowns brings up

45:10 Karell Pryce.

45:12 Pryce, the roommate

45:14 of Brett Helton, who's on the mound.

45:19 >> [music]

45:20 >> Couple of guys who live at 801

45:21 Washington Street, Savannah, Georgia,

45:24 31410.

45:33 And Helton's got him in a one-one

45:41 >> [groaning and screaming]

45:43 >> Pryce, that's well struck. Hampton has

45:46 the range.

45:49 He flies out to center, but not before

45:52 the Clowns strike for two runs

45:55 in the top of the first.

45:57 Bats are still hot for Eric Fox's crew.

46:00 Let's see one more shot.

46:02 Bobby La Day's shot. [cheering]

46:06 Oh.

46:07 I'm good, baby. Hey. Number seven, too

46:09 clean. Electric in the Evergreen State.

46:17 And with that, let's go to the bottom of

46:18 the second with the Clowns defense will

46:20 take the field.

46:22 Left to right across the outfield, again

46:23 that name stands above them all, Jackie

46:25 Bradley Jr. Double digit trick plays out

46:27 in center field. Had one last night

46:29 between the legs. Bobby La Day paces the

46:31 squad, 34 at shortstop.

46:35 Chris Borgess behind the dish. He will

46:37 catch for Brett Maddock.

46:39 Maddock making just his second start in

46:42 2026.

46:44 Ninth round draft pick in the 2026

46:46 Banana Ball Championship League draft.

46:49 65th overall.

46:51 Stands at 6 ft tall.

46:53 Well, on the dating apps that is. 5 ft

46:55 11 in real life. 180 lb for the writing.

46:59 >> [cheering]

47:01 >> Pitched at Kansas Wesleyan in 2025.

47:05 And now has made his way to Banana Ball

47:06 and will face the Party Animals.

47:08 >> [cheering]

47:09 >> Led off by Andy Cosgrove. Rare that your

47:12 one hole hitter hits three home runs.

47:16 He's the first player in Banana Ball

47:17 Championship League history to do so.

47:19 Just the third player overall in the

47:21 sport to knock three in a game.

47:24 Oh, he's the first to do it in a

47:25 baseball stadium.

47:27 The other two, Reese Hampton and Jake

47:28 Skole, did such in football venues.

47:31 Behind him, Reese Hampton and the MVP,

47:34 Jake Skole. Those two names that I just

47:35 gave.

47:36 >> [cheering]

47:41 >> Maddock awaits the lineup.

47:45 >> [cheering]

47:45 >> And finally, here comes Andy Cosgrove.

47:54 Cos is a Kirkland Washington kid.

48:02 Grew up playing games in this ballpark.

48:08 Maddox first offering, a rye.

48:12 In banana ball.

48:14 Passed ball wild pitch, you can steal

48:16 first base. Cosgrove said, "No, I think

48:18 I'm more dangerous right now with the

48:19 bat in my hands."

48:25 Couple of bad misses from Maddox.

48:32 Now 3-0.

48:36 Cos still has the green light.

48:40 But with the couple of erratic tosses,

48:42 I'm taking red light all the way here.

48:44 That's the case, ball four sprint.

48:47 Cosgrove reaches base in this series

48:48 again. Does he want second? No. He goes

48:51 far as he wants on the ball four sprint

48:53 until the entire defense touches the

48:55 ball.

48:57 He'll settle for free 90 ft.

49:02 And yesterday's catcher turns today's

49:04 extra hitter will stay at first base and

49:06 run

49:07 for himself.

49:11 Reese Hampton was two for four last

49:12 night.

49:15 Came around twice to score.

49:23 Works with the man on and

49:25 sends the ball Oh,

49:27 no, no, no, no.

49:30 Off the bumper in the parking lot of a

49:32 light Nissan Maxima. Looks like Arkansas

49:35 plates. And then grounds INTO A DOUBLE

49:38 PLAY.

49:39 YES. NO.

49:42 Corel Prime trying to go behind the

49:43 back.

49:46 Wanted the trick play.

49:49 And it was as close as they get at first

49:51 base.

49:54 Mhm, Prime wanted it.

49:58 Hampton had it by a half step.

50:03 Fielder's choice sends Cosgrove to the

50:05 dugout

50:06 and brings Jake Skole to the plate.

50:14 Skole, another bright spot, three for

50:16 three yesterday with the ball for

50:18 Sprint. He hit a home run off of

50:19 Peanuts. No mercy for the world's first

50:22 pitching mascot.

50:32 X

50:34 is ahead.

50:46 Skole wanted to tie the inning with that

50:48 one. Just make it clear. The Crabs have

50:50 two runs, zero points. Every inning

50:52 counts as a point in the Banana Ball.

50:59 The Animals need three to win the

51:00 inning, two to tie it and send us to the

51:02 second at zero to zero in that points

51:04 category.

51:08 Skole well struck but foul.

51:12 Roswell, Georgia guy.

51:15 First round draft pick in 2010 to the

51:17 Texas Rangers, 15th overall. Last night

51:20 the locker room I walked in, he's having

51:22 a beer watching over and over that home

51:24 run against Peanuts.

51:26 And here Skole's going to base now.

51:29 Hampton will not test the arm of Joe

51:31 Gray Jr.

51:36 Two hours postgame, Jake Skole, after

51:39 almost everyone else had left,

51:41 is sitting with Rizzuto going over and

51:44 over and over. Where was the pitch?

51:46 Where was the location? How did I

51:47 connect?

51:49 Off of Peanuts, the elephant.

51:57 TJ Reeves

51:58 rookie who was one for four yesterday.

52:04 Grounder left side through. [cheering]

52:05 Base hit.

52:07 Hampton stays at third.

52:10 Brian Dancereau is the left fielder

52:12 today.

52:14 Last night

52:15 Jason Swan tested the arm of Dancereau

52:18 and was thrown out at the plate.

52:23 Hampton said, "All right, we got respect

52:25 for you, big cat.

52:26 We'll just load them up for that same

52:28 man, Swaney."

52:30 Dancereau's got a real Reese Hampton

52:31 thing going on with him, doesn't he?

52:34 Doppelganger

52:45 Swan's one of the most patient plate

52:46 appearances in the sport.

52:50 13 ball four sprints to his five strike

52:53 outs

52:55 >> [cheering]

53:00 >> those out of his 90 plate appearances.

53:08 Swaney!

53:09 Deep right field. Not deep enough. JOE

53:12 GRAY JR. IS THERE.

53:15 IT'S A SAC FLY for Swan

53:17 and an RBI

53:19 his 18th of the campaign.

53:25 Animals get one back.

53:29 Skull advances to third.

53:32 The rookie Mikey Ballard will have to

53:33 bring him home to tie this inning.

53:38 Surprised the Animals have not put the

53:40 designated runner Mark Smith in at first

53:42 base for T.J. Reeves.

53:48 The man at first represents the inning

53:51 winning

53:52 run.

53:57 Namely, if Maddock throws a ball four

53:58 sprint here, any tiny miscue from the

54:01 Clowns, you want the fastest guy

54:02 possible at first try to come home and

54:03 score.

54:15 Oh my. That's a called strike.

54:19 No. No. No.

54:23 All right, Mikey. Now what?

54:28 He won't bite on the off speed.

54:31 The old game of what ifs.

54:35 Runners go. Left side. Eli Payton.

54:38 Hoover.

54:40 And a bad throw is picked by Pride.

54:43 The Clowns have won the inning.

54:46 >> [cheering]

54:47 >> Eli Payton flashes the glove, but

54:50 Clowns win this weekend. Animals win

54:52 rubber match. That's not the story. The

54:54 story is the hometown kid, Andy

54:56 Cosgrove. Three home runs of all four

54:58 sprint already today. Rex Castillo is

55:01 with him right now.

55:03 Been a special weekend especially for

55:04 the hometown kid. Back in your home

55:06 state over a decade. Andy, what has this

55:08 weekend been like for you?

55:09 It's been unbelievable. It's probably

55:11 been my favorite weekend in my Banana

55:12 Ball career.

55:14 Uh just more family, more friends, more

55:16 people showing up for me than I would

55:17 have ever I haven't asked for. And so,

55:19 [cheering] it's been special just

55:21 knowing that these people care enough to

55:22 come out and watch a watch a ball game

55:24 out here. And there was no doubt that

55:26 Washington would absolutely show up and

55:27 bring the energy, right?

55:28 >> Yeah, I mean I just honestly we're

55:30 talking about the fact that this might

55:31 be one of the best crowds we've had the

55:33 entire season. It's a a A bit smaller. I

55:35 think we got about 7,000 people out

55:37 here, but it's been electric 3 days in a

55:39 row. Electric was the way to describe

55:41 this guy's performance last night.

55:42 Looking for another performance tonight?

55:43 Yeah, you know what? I'm trying to be

55:45 unselfish as as unselfish and uh,

55:47 without any greed today. That's the

55:49 goal. You know, I'm I'm batting lead off

55:51 and I got some unbelievable hitters

55:52 behind me, so if I can get on base

55:54 [music] and let them do their job, I

55:55 think we can win this ball game. Crop

55:57 tops to success here in Washington.

55:58 Thank you so much, Andy. Drake, back to

56:00 you.

56:00 >> [cheering]

56:02 >> It's really cool to hear, man. Look,

56:04 as good as he is as a Banana Ball and as

56:06 hot as he is as just, you know, a

56:08 person,

56:09 has every right

56:11 to let you know about it.

56:14 But that humility,

56:15 Brandy Casgrove, in his home ballpark,

56:21 great to see.

56:23 Eli Peyton, the man who just got it done

56:25 with a glove, tries to do the same with

56:26 the bat.

56:30 Former UCLA Bruin turned Grand Canyon

56:32 University Lope.

56:34 Oh, right back to Helton. Trick play

56:36 opportunity. Count it.

56:47 Peyton to the dugout, Nico Holsizer.

56:49 Two for five last night. Get this, hit a

56:51 home run.

56:58 Foul ball here.

57:03 One of those eight home runs

57:05 on the evening.

57:07 One for every inning we played.

57:10 Holsizer in the center.

57:12 REECE HAMPTON WITH THE RANGE! [cheering]

57:14 ON THE RUN! BEHIND THE BACK! REECER!

57:22 Count it!

57:26 That's so hot, man. That's so hot.

57:35 I don't I don't understand how he does

57:37 it.

57:40 No time to adjust, no time to reset, no

57:42 time to figure out where you are. Reese

57:44 Hampton is doing Reese Hampton things.

57:48 The nine hole, Chris Burgess.

57:54 Out of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

57:59 Did not hit a home run last night.

58:01 [music]

58:02 Didn't play in the game.

58:06 Had a start on Friday.

58:10 In the lineup to open the game with the

58:11 second time in this three-game stretch.

58:19 Burgess got HIM LOOKING.

58:22 >> [cheering]

58:23 >> BRETT HALTON.

58:28 Three up, three down at the top of the

58:30 second at a sub-two-minute MPI.

58:33 1:55

58:35 for B10.

58:37 And it's time for the

58:39 21 and under bar? Oh, what?

58:47 love. And tonight we're going to

58:48 celebrate that love by doing a little

58:51 sing-off competition. That's right,

58:53 ladies and gentlemen, down here on the

58:54 field with me, I've got Fred, Pia, Kim,

58:57 and Dan, and we are going to see tonight

58:59 which one of these these husbands is

59:00 going to win back their honeys' heart.

59:03 All right, ladies and gentlemen, we like

59:04 to call this one, "Will You Be Mine?"

59:19 I know you won't leave [singing] me, but

59:22 I refuse to let you go. Ain't you proud

59:26 to beg, and you know [music] it.

59:29 Please don't leave [singing] me, girl.

59:31 Don't you go. Ain't too proud to be.

59:36 Baby,

59:37 please don't leave. Oh my goodness,

59:39 y'all. OH, GIVE IT UP, LADIES and

59:42 gentlemen, FOR FRED AND Thea with a very

59:44 sweet smooch here at the end.

59:46 >> Oh, all right. All right. All right.

59:47 That was cute, but I got the prize

59:49 couple here ready. Are you ready, DAD?

59:52 >> I'M READY. ALL RIGHT, DJ, HIT IT.

59:55 OH, COME ON. COME ON. YEAH.

59:59 COME ON.

1:00:00 COME ON.

1:00:00 YEAH.

1:00:01 OH.

1:00:02 YEAH. IF YOU'RE

1:00:05 LET'S DO IT.

1:00:06 HOW DO YOU GET IT? HOW DO YOU GET IT?

1:00:07 HOW DO YOU

1:00:10 >> [music]

1:00:10 >> WHAT ARE WE DOING? OH, COME ON.

1:00:14 Come on.

1:00:15 All right, ladies and gentlemen, Fred

1:00:16 and Thea are getting a little freakier

1:00:18 than we thought.

1:00:19 Uh-uh, that's enough. That's enough.

1:00:22 Give it up, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. GIVE

1:00:23 it up

1:00:24 for Kim AND DAD.

1:00:26 >> [cheering]

1:00:27 >> WELL, NOW IT IS TIME FOR YOU, THE FANS,

1:00:30 to decide. WAS IT FRED AND THEA?

1:00:33 [cheering]

1:00:35 OR WAS IT DAD AND KIM?

1:00:39 >> [cheering]

1:00:40 >> WELL, THERE YOU HAVE IT, LADIES AND

1:00:41 GENTLEMEN. Your winners of Will You Be

1:00:44 Mine. I feel like those four were 21 and

1:00:48 over dropping some bars

1:00:51 on their honeys.

1:00:55 I'll be yours.

1:00:57 One nothing. Clowns lead it.

1:00:59 One swing of the bat from Chase Akuff

1:01:02 can change it.

1:01:07 Akuff was 0 for 1 last night.

1:01:10 Two ball four sprints, two RBI.

1:01:15 His OBP is up to 412 on the year.

1:01:23 >> [cheering]

1:01:26 >> Works the ball for Sprint here.

1:01:33 Can go as far as he wants.

1:01:36 He doesn't want to go too far.

1:01:40 90 ft for Chosen.

1:01:47 And now the Fleming Island, Florida kid.

1:01:50 Virginia Tech product.

1:01:53 Former Coastal Plain League Savannah

1:01:55 Banana, Tanner Thomas.

1:02:11 Tanner

1:02:13 One for four with an RBI and a run

1:02:14 scored.

1:02:16 16 hours ago.

1:02:20 >> [cheering]

1:02:21 >> Thomas home run in Asuelo.

1:02:23 Vasquez at second. Tries to pop it up

1:02:25 and does to himself.

1:02:29 Jaylen Vasquez, the higher the pop up,

1:02:32 the tougher it is to pop it up.

1:02:36 He made it look easy.

1:02:41 And now Bronson Ball [music] home.

1:02:44 Steps in.

1:02:48 >> [music]

1:02:48 >> Ronnie over three on the evening.

1:02:53 Using the designated sitter.

1:02:57 Designated sitter.

1:02:59 Try hitter spot [music] last night.

1:03:03 Boy, it's a good thing I didn't put the

1:03:05 S with the H.

1:03:09 That would have been a call from Jesse

1:03:10 Cole.

1:03:19 Ronnie, ball four sprints.

1:03:22 Surprised everybody.

1:03:25 Haycup

1:03:27 rumbling around second over to third it

1:03:30 would only make sense

1:03:32 for Vavra to throw Mark Smith out at

1:03:34 first base is exactly what he does.

1:03:41 >> [screaming]

1:03:43 >> And here comes Noah [music] Fischer.

1:03:52 Animals are 90 ft away. They won to one

1:03:55 tie game. Be the third consecutive game

1:03:57 we've been tied at a point a piece going

1:03:59 to the third.

1:04:02 Lot of early runs, early points in

1:04:03 Tacoma.

1:04:12 Trey Hudson says that Noah Fischer went.

1:04:15 Now Fish moved in the right, it's down

1:04:17 and it's A WALK-OFF.

1:04:21 FIFTH RBI ON THE SEASON for Fish.

1:04:23 >> [cheering]

1:04:24 >> It's time to get those pinkies up.

1:04:40 >> [music]

1:04:55 [music]

1:05:06 >> The Party Animals They have been working

1:05:08 on that run celebration [cheering] for

1:05:10 weeks. They finally get it in there.

1:05:13 Now, uh hey, monkey see, monkey do.

1:05:19 Now, let's send it down to home plate

1:05:21 with AJ Kirschner.

1:05:25 WELL, TACOMA, WE'VE GOT A LITTLE GAME

1:05:27 FOR YOU. MORE SPECIFICALLY, Farty has a

1:05:30 little game for you. And our three

1:05:32 monkeys on the field, Nora, Brett, and

1:05:35 JJ, we're about to play a game of monkey

1:05:38 see, monkey do. And it's exactly that

1:05:42 simple. FARTY, TAKE IT AWAY.

1:05:46 We'll start with little Reese Hamsin.

1:05:49 FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN, Y'ALL.

1:05:54 GETTING UP THERE WITH THEM JUMPS.

1:05:58 LITTLE FIST BUMPS.

1:06:01 Uh uh

1:06:02 uh uh uh uh uh.

1:06:04 To the head, to your toes. Head, toes,

1:06:08 shoulders, and knees. You need some of

1:06:10 them.

1:06:11 Scuba.

1:06:15 >> [music]

1:06:19 >> Little disco action.

1:06:23 >> [music]

1:06:25 >> Farty just letting her rip. Turn around.

1:06:27 Turn around.

1:06:35 This has been monkey see, MONKEY DO.

1:06:39 >> [cheering]

1:06:40 [music]

1:06:40 >> RIGHT THIS WAY, LITTLE MONKEYS. Monkey

1:06:43 see, monkey do. Thank you, Farty.

1:06:47 And hello to Mike Vavasis, the head

1:06:48 coach of the Party Animals. Skip, an

1:06:51 honor to talk to you today on a Tacoma

1:06:53 beautiful Tacoma afternoon. What is up,

1:06:56 guys? It is gorgeous out here.

1:06:58 I'm working on my bananas foster. Y'all

1:07:00 hear me up there? Oh, Bob, I got you.

1:07:02 I'm just taking it all in. It's an honor

1:07:03 to be with you. Oh, man. Look, so here's

1:07:05 the deal. Last night, we'll we'll go

1:07:07 behind the fourth wall a bit. Right. We

1:07:08 talked strategy. You know, the seventh

1:07:10 inning, eighth inning in the game. Half

1:07:12 the game. You and I sit down, we keep

1:07:13 talking strategy about banana ball and

1:07:15 hey, do we do we get to the ninth? Do

1:07:17 you know are there points in the eighth?

1:07:18 Are there Let's talk a little bit of

1:07:19 banana ball strategy here if you're cool

1:07:21 with that.

1:07:21 >> Absolutely. Love to.

1:07:22 >> I want to go back a couple of guys ago.

1:07:25 So, for fans at home that are, you know,

1:07:27 tier two, tier three banana ballers,

1:07:29 Chase Ealey Cup reaches on a ball for a

1:07:30 strike.

1:07:31 >> Right.

1:07:32 That conversation about where Mark Smith

1:07:34 comes into the dugout banana ball.

1:07:35 >> Right. How does that conversation go

1:07:37 between coaches in this sport?

1:07:38 >> Yeah, absolutely. So, in that situation

1:07:40 right there, like me and Mark got

1:07:41 together before the inning and

1:07:43 essentially I'm like, "Hey, we cuz the

1:07:45 goal is obviously to speed up the

1:07:46 catcher so he's prepared for the

1:07:47 following inning." So, Bronny's got his

1:07:49 gear on, ready to go if he got on base.

1:07:52 So, I'm like, "Hey, if Bronny gets on,

1:07:54 we go to Bronny so we get him sped up,

1:07:56 ready to go for the next inning. But, if

1:07:58 Bronny gets out, we have that runner

1:07:59 still available and then that's when he

1:08:01 would be Chase cuz obviously Chase was

1:08:02 that winning run." So, you'd want your

1:08:04 fastest guy, obviously, first one on the

1:08:06 base path. So, it's kind of like picking

1:08:08 your your the best not only the best bet

1:08:11 for the game, but also to make sure the

1:08:12 show is running efficiently and make

1:08:14 sure the catcher is ready to go at all

1:08:15 times.

1:08:16 >> Yeah, and look, that that's a big thing.

1:08:18 We talked, you know, last night about

1:08:20 the efficiency of ensuring the best

1:08:22 product for fans, entertainment for

1:08:23 fans. And you could tell last night, 33

1:08:26 runs, that's going to kick the timer a

1:08:29 little bit. Things have got to speed up.

1:08:31 You get to the eighth inning and there's

1:08:32 this conversation of, "Okay, if the

1:08:34 eighth inning expires, the clowns have

1:08:36 five runs. Those would become five

1:08:39 points given it be the final inning."

1:08:40 This is again high-level banana ball.

1:08:42 What are those conversations like

1:08:43 happening in the dugout of, "Hey, do we

1:08:45 get to the ninth and concede a point? Do

1:08:47 we get Do we allow them to have five?"

1:08:48 What What is that talk like?

1:08:50 >> Right, absolutely.

1:08:52 The name of the game is speed when it

1:08:53 comes to banana ball. Obviously, we

1:08:54 preach it. That's a big part of our

1:08:56 game, getting the game in two hours.

1:08:58 But, when when it comes down to that,

1:08:59 man,

1:09:01 it

1:09:01 instead of my guys wasting, you know,

1:09:04 wasting an AB chasing balls out of the

1:09:06 zone, I trust in our bats and I trust in

1:09:08 our lineup's ability to not only make

1:09:11 the show great in the eighth inning if

1:09:12 that was the final inning, but also have

1:09:15 a battle going. And I think we were

1:09:16 honestly one swing away of I'd say 20 ft

1:09:19 away with Tanner's ball he hit last

1:09:20 night. So, it's a kind of like, "Oh my

1:09:23 >> Oh, speaking of that, Joe Brian Jr.

1:09:26 His third home run. Oh my god.

1:09:29 >> [cheering]

1:09:30 >> He's hot right now, Drake. Red hot this

1:09:33 weekend.

1:09:34 >> But yeah, brother, when when it goes

1:09:35 back to that, just it's either trusting

1:09:37 what you got coming up. I you know, I

1:09:39 got I got some of my grinders coming to

1:09:41 play. Reese Skull Reese, it's like, you

1:09:44 know, I just I don't think it's the best

1:09:46 interest in a ball to be like, "Hey, you

1:09:48 know, let's beat this up so we can get

1:09:49 to that ninth." I say, "Hey, you know,

1:09:51 let's compete right now and let's let's

1:09:53 let's win this inning." I mean, we got

1:09:54 pretty close.

1:09:56 Yeah, you know, and that's where I think

1:09:58 it's a great conversation of there are

1:10:00 fans who put themselves It's the same as

1:10:02 when Don Mattingly was coaching, right?

1:10:04 They they say after the game, like, "Oh,

1:10:05 I would have done this. He did this. I

1:10:07 agree with him. I don't." And that's the

1:10:08 beauty of the growth of sport of Banana

1:10:10 Ball as a league. For you in that spot

1:10:12 last night, and for fans that didn't get

1:10:15 to see it, you know, clowns get their

1:10:16 their five points off those five runs in

1:10:18 the eighth as the time comes down, and

1:10:21 from there, how do your guys reset to

1:10:23 understand, "Hey, the eighth is our

1:10:25 final inning. We've got to go win it

1:10:26 here." Yeah, you know, I want to say

1:10:28 from the seventh inning on, yeah, the

1:10:31 intensity picked up. You know, no matter

1:10:33 no matter what situation, winning or

1:10:34 losing, I feel like there's always a

1:10:36 little bit more pressure added to those

1:10:37 last three innings. So, it's really just

1:10:39 sticking to our guns, having good at

1:10:41 bats, you know, and also it's one thing

1:10:43 I wanted to touch on, too, is like

1:10:45 picking the golden batter for the the

1:10:46 right situation.

1:10:47 >> Yeah, so hit me with that. You know,

1:10:49 late game, you could tie it. I know

1:10:50 Cosgrove was hot. Skull's the MVP. Why

1:10:53 not go to a golden batter there?

1:10:54 >> Absolutely. So, on deck

1:10:56 was I think it was Val Home was going to

1:10:58 be up and so Skull was on deck when

1:11:00 Tanner flew out to end the game there.

1:11:02 So, in my opinion, I'm like, if I go

1:11:04 Skull first, second, or third, that

1:11:05 doesn't do us justice. We were chasing

1:11:07 such a big number. So, I'm like, you

1:11:08 know what? Let's save him for an

1:11:10 opportunity where either we have runs

1:11:11 aboard or that tying and winning run is

1:11:13 on base as well. And you know, the

1:11:16 Tanner Thomas coming up, he's been

1:11:17 swinging it well and I mean Jack he's

1:11:19 been swinging it well and you know, we

1:11:21 had lefty to lefty then and I was like,

1:11:23 man, I think this is the best route.

1:11:25 Obviously going back, yeah, I probably

1:11:27 would have kept it cuz you know, Tanner

1:11:28 Tanner's been swinging it, but we did

1:11:30 have Scully ready to roll and I mean, if

1:11:32 Tanner gets on there, we're in a great

1:11:33 situation to have a Skull coming up to

1:11:35 play.

1:11:36 It's all really good for the Nanners to

1:11:37 understand it.

1:11:39 Another well-struck ball in the right.

1:11:40 Skull at bat.

1:11:42 That's a pro play.

1:11:44 La Day, a fly out in the right. So,

1:11:47 Baba, I want to go back to this question

1:11:49 a lot of the you know, the chat last

1:11:50 night. 7,000 people watching, which

1:11:51 [cheering] is incredible. And a lot were

1:11:53 asking like, "Hey, if the Nanners bring

1:11:55 three guys to the plate and all strike

1:11:57 out right here, they get to the ninth

1:11:59 inning and you're down by a point, maybe

1:12:00 two points instead of five. But in

1:12:03 essence, I I guess going back to what

1:12:04 you're saying is don't ask your guys to

1:12:06 get out, right?

1:12:07 >> Right. Yeah, that's the thing. It's

1:12:09 obviously it's a league now. We got six

1:12:11 teams and we have some of the most

1:12:12 competitive ball games I've ever seen in

1:12:14 Banana Ball this year. And it's like, if

1:12:16 we want to keep this thing true and

1:12:17 competitive and and show people that you

1:12:20 know, it's a great show, but it's also

1:12:21 great [music] athletes and we play great

1:12:23 Banana Ball that I feel like throwing

1:12:24 away three ABs right there is is not the

1:12:26 best interest for not only the brand,

1:12:28 but for the sport. And I think you know,

1:12:30 the fans would love to see a huge

1:12:32 inning. You know, if we came back from

1:12:33 that run deficit, I think that's one of

1:12:35 the most Banana Ball cuz I mean, you

1:12:37 look the scoreboard, technically in a

1:12:39 baseball game, we would have got our

1:12:40 butts beat. You know what I'm saying?

1:12:41 But in Banana Ball, we had a fighting

1:12:43 chance and I think that's the most

1:12:45 Banana Ball way to end the game right

1:12:47 there. Like we still had a fighting

1:12:48 chance.

1:12:49 Do you feel like cuz I look, I'll I'll

1:12:52 be the first to admit, I'm still

1:12:53 learning Banana Ball every weekend.

1:12:55 There's something new. Lidle into left,

1:12:58 Tanner Thomas tracking it down. Can't

1:12:59 get to it. And there are second and

1:13:01 third. Do you as a head coach still feel

1:13:04 like you're you're learning new things

1:13:05 about the game or or ways to maximize

1:13:08 your team's performance in this sport?

1:13:10 Absolutely. I mean, till till like the

1:13:13 today, I feel like almost every month,

1:13:15 every other weekend, like something

1:13:17 happens in Banana Ball, such a new young

1:13:19 sport that like we're like, "Oh, we

1:13:20 didn't even think about that. Oh, that

1:13:22 situation." You know, so I'm learning as

1:13:25 it goes and like obviously super

1:13:26 thankful to have 6 years under my belt

1:13:28 and watch the sport grow as it has and

1:13:30 like understand it very well. But yeah,

1:13:33 I mean,

1:13:34 I'm I'm learning as I go and I think I

1:13:36 think as a coach, as a player, like you

1:13:38 should never think that you know

1:13:40 everything. You know, I think you're

1:13:41 always going to be learning and getting

1:13:42 better and that's the goal. If I can

1:13:44 improve every year as a Banana Ball

1:13:46 coach, then I know I'm doing my job,

1:13:47 right?

1:13:48 That's what's awesome about the whole

1:13:50 chat's filling up right now. Same folks

1:13:52 who watched last night's game that had

1:13:53 these questions getting [cheering]

1:13:55 getting answers to what they were

1:13:56 wondering. And and I told you post, when

1:13:57 we talked postgame, that hey, for where

1:13:59 I may disagree, you have an explanation

1:14:01 as the manager that backs up why you did

1:14:03 what you did and that's the very least

1:14:06 that a fan base, that a sport can ask

1:14:07 for. You're a professional. I appreciate

1:14:10 you asking answering the tough questions

1:14:12 that were asked here and going to

1:14:13 ballgame. Thanks, Skip. Yeah, I

1:14:14 appreciate y'all. Love you guys. Love

1:14:16 you, Skip. See you, Baba. Pro's pro

1:14:18 right there.

1:14:20 We'll hang him up and say hello to

1:14:21 Karell Prime who's about to walk to the

1:14:23 plate

1:14:24 with a specialty walk-up.

1:14:31 >> [music]

1:14:41 >> Hand me [music] down my walking cane.

1:14:43 Hand me down my hat.

1:14:46 Hurry now [music] and don't be late cuz

1:14:48 we ain't got time to chat.

1:14:52 >> [singing]

1:14:56 [music]

1:15:20 >> Correlle Prime with so much swagger.

1:15:24 >> [cheering]

1:15:25 >> Brett Helton's roommate

1:15:27 works with men at first and second.

1:15:30 Three runs already across here in the

1:15:31 third for the Indianapolis Clowns.

1:15:40 Had a called strike. Man, I love that.

1:15:42 It goes right back to that Baba

1:15:43 interview. Just where he uses a

1:15:46 designated runner.

1:15:47 Where the party animal is here sitting

1:15:49 at

1:15:51 two, three, and four due up in the

1:15:52 lineup. You do you ask Hampton or

1:15:54 Scholl? Do you ask Reeves? Do you ask

1:15:56 Koskow to get out on purpose to go to

1:15:58 the ninth?

1:15:59 Do you play the numbers game or do you

1:16:00 allow the bats to be in hands? It's a

1:16:02 great question and that's the beauty of

1:16:03 it, too. [music]

1:16:04 As Helton

1:16:06 wheels and deals with the O2.

1:16:10 It didn't go. Look good, but could get

1:16:12 the call from Trey Hudson. And you may

1:16:15 disagree. I may disagree. A fan may

1:16:17 disagree with the coach's decision.

1:16:19 But a coach to stand there and say,

1:16:20 "Here's what I did and why I did it."

1:16:22 That That earns respect.

1:16:27 And Baba, the defending champion as the

1:16:30 manager of these party animals

1:16:32 has the respect of the league.

1:16:35 Left field.

1:16:38 >> [cheering]

1:16:39 >> The range of Reese Hampton shown off

1:16:41 there.

1:16:45 Once again, finally incredibly

1:16:47 appreciative

1:16:49 of Mike Vee Vasis.

1:16:51 >> [cheering]

1:16:53 >> Joining us, answering tough questions,

1:16:55 and explaining to you our biggest fans

1:16:57 watching on YouTube this afternoon.

1:17:01 His honesty,

1:17:04 his direct nature,

1:17:05 and willingness to do that says a whole

1:17:07 lot about that human being, that person,

1:17:09 Mike Vee Vasis, who represents these

1:17:11 animals so well and has

1:17:13 for 6 years.

1:17:31 Eli Payton

1:17:33 left field.

1:17:35 Taylor Thomas

1:17:37 retires him.

1:17:38 Not before the clowns strike for three.

1:17:42 It's time for Bananas Foster.

1:17:45 Gentlemen at this time, please direct

1:17:47 your attention to the field and welcome

1:17:49 from Bananas Foster, Lexi Callahan.

1:17:55 Across the United States, there are over

1:17:58 400,000

1:18:00 children and teens in foster care

1:18:02 without a permanent home.

1:18:04 To raise awareness and support this

1:18:06 community, we created Bananas Foster,

1:18:09 the official nonprofit of Banana Ball.

1:18:12 Our organization is dedicated to

1:18:14 celebrating those in the foster care

1:18:16 community while educating and inspiring

1:18:19 others to get involved. Today, we are

1:18:22 celebrating the McGafferty family.

1:18:25 >> [music]

1:18:25 >> Amanda and Josh heard about the need for

1:18:28 more foster families in their community

1:18:31 and became licensed. They care for

1:18:33 medically fragile children by providing

1:18:36 additional support and special care to

1:18:39 meet these children's needs. They have

1:18:42 prioritized building a relationship with

1:18:45 the biological families of children in

1:18:47 their care and work to maintain these

1:18:50 relationships after reunification.

1:18:53 In total, they have been licensed for 6

1:18:55 years and have welcomed 11 children and

1:18:59 teens into their home. Fans, please help

1:19:02 us celebrate the McCafferty family for

1:19:04 making a difference right here in your

1:19:06 community.

1:19:08 >> [cheering]

1:19:10 [applause]

1:19:29 >> McCafferty family

1:19:32 making a difference right here in the

1:19:34 Tacoma area.

1:19:44 >> [cheering]

1:19:45 >> An awesome opportunity. Sunday afternoon

1:19:47 in the spring at the ballpark.

1:19:52 >> [cheering]

1:19:56 >> To honor those making a difference

1:19:59 here at the base of Mount Rainier.

1:20:05 The clouds, the trees,

1:20:08 the light

1:20:10 and the Vinnie

1:20:12 Santarciere.

1:20:15 Eighth round

1:20:18 58th pick

1:20:20 in the 2000

1:20:22 26

1:20:25 banana ball championship league draft.

1:20:27 Vinnie Santarciere

1:20:30 stands at Oh, yes. 6'7". Do it.

1:20:33 Everybody do it. Yeah, get it out of the

1:20:35 way.

1:20:37 Ty Jackson.

1:20:39 I know.

1:20:41 Hollywood, Florida product. 6'7", 250-lb

1:20:45 righty.

1:20:47 Good job.

1:20:48 Former LA Dodgers minor leaguer.

1:20:51 And his 3 years in minor league

1:20:53 baseball, 8 and 5 record.

1:20:55 3.41 ERA over his

1:20:59 49 appearances.

1:21:01 Um, that's good.

1:21:06 He'll face the hottest man on the Party

1:21:07 Animals, Andy Cosgrove. Black and pink

1:21:10 chasing three runs here in the third in

1:21:13 a game which tied one point to one

1:21:15 point.

1:21:19 Just a tick high. And Vinny said,

1:21:21 [music]

1:21:21 "What?"

1:21:28 That's there.

1:21:30 Great movement.

1:21:39 Cos.

1:21:42 Past the diving glove of the fans.

1:21:45 Into the parking lot.

1:21:47 One more ding to that white Nissan

1:21:49 Maxima with Arkansas plates.

1:21:55 And a 2-2 for Cos.

1:22:02 Earthquake.

1:22:07 Andy Cosgrove can work his second ball

1:22:09 four sprint

1:22:12 in a matter of three innings.

1:22:16 Spoils a good one. Seventh pitch of the

1:22:18 AB ensuing.

1:22:26 Cos takes high.

1:22:29 Go get it up.

1:22:30 Animals have a base runner.

1:22:34 Clowns have scored five runs in this

1:22:36 game already. The Animals have one.

1:22:38 That's six. Quick math. I'm pretty good

1:22:40 at that.

1:22:50 That means 51 runs have come home.

1:22:55 In the

1:22:58 18-ish innings of Banana Ball that we've

1:23:01 seen.

1:23:02 Eight-inning game on Friday,

1:23:03 eight-inning game on Saturday. Two

1:23:05 incredible shows.

1:23:07 Leek Squad made it clear pregame. They

1:23:09 want to drive this one to the ninth.

1:23:22 Hampton

1:23:23 O for one after that fielder's choice

1:23:25 back in the first.

1:23:29 Down one, two on Sandor Ciero.

1:23:35 >> [cheering]

1:23:39 >> Hampton left field Dancero

1:23:44 well tracked at the track.

1:23:49 >> [cheering]

1:23:51 >> That is a

1:23:52 looks just like Reese Hampton.

1:23:54 Doppelganger on doppelganger crown.

1:23:58 That's a compliment to both of them.

1:24:03 The MVP, Jake Skole.

1:24:08 One home run this weekend.

1:24:10 Won't find a second on this pitch.

1:24:14 Zero fan caught foul balls in Tacoma.

1:24:19 Looking for our first today.

1:24:27 I think it's another piece of what lends

1:24:30 itself to longer games. You know, we

1:24:33 Look last night, the Party Animals

1:24:34 averaging 2 minutes 2 hours and 13

1:24:37 minutes, I should say, in their contest.

1:24:39 So many foul balls. So many runs scored.

1:24:42 So many foul balls. Patient hitters.

1:24:47 The more foul balls, the more ball four

1:24:48 sprints, the longer these ABs go.

1:24:52 What a play from Eli Payton over the

1:24:53 shoulder.

1:24:54 That's been the case quite a bit for the

1:24:56 Animals this year.

1:25:03 TJ Reeves is the last hope of the third

1:25:05 here.

1:25:16 And 96 miles an hour, Candelario on the

1:25:19 fastball.

1:25:25 He sits in that 94-96 range.

1:25:33 Got the splitter and the slider to work

1:25:34 with, too.

1:25:42 Reeves!

1:25:45 Good riding to right. Joe Great Jr.

1:25:47 fires to third. It's cut off. Third

1:25:50 corners for the Animals.

1:25:53 It's Kyle Grover at third. Reeves at

1:25:55 first. TJ is two for two today.

1:26:03 Jason Swan

1:26:04 has yet to hit a home run in 2026.

1:26:08 A damn good time.

1:26:11 Takes strike one.

1:26:25 >> And Zack Fly is first time at the plate,

1:26:27 zero for zero today.

1:26:32 After a one for three performance last

1:26:35 night.

1:26:37 Allowed double the ball four sprint

1:26:40 in the eight to six loss for the

1:26:41 animals.

1:26:49 Hitters count. Ball four sprint would

1:26:52 bring home Cosgrove. Likely move Reeves

1:26:54 to third.

1:26:58 That is the case.

1:27:01 Reeves trucking along. This one wants

1:27:03 second. He does.

1:27:05 BALL FOUR SPRINT DEFENSE IS FLOORED BY

1:27:08 THE CLOWNS.

1:27:12 >> [cheering]

1:27:13 >> Animals have two in scoring position.

1:27:18 And now

1:27:20 if Ballard could just replicate that, a

1:27:22 ball four sprint of his own,

1:27:24 the inning would be tied.

1:27:35 Strike is the call.

1:27:39 Off the palm of the catcher, Chris

1:27:40 Burgess.

1:27:49 Tick below the knee, Trey Hudson was on

1:27:51 top of that one. Sentar Ciero, the 25th

1:27:53 pitch of this inning ensuing.

1:27:59 Great frame from Burgess.

1:28:02 Correct call from Hudson.

1:28:09 Oh, there's a strike.

1:28:12 Santorciero painting a very similar spot

1:28:15 right now.

1:28:22 Ballard

1:28:23 Wow, they

1:28:25 They've all been right around the same

1:28:26 area.

1:28:28 Ball four here.

1:28:30 Sprints in the inning-tying run.

1:28:35 Oh my goodness, Ballard stays alive.

1:28:39 Ballard

1:28:41 10 sprints, 11 strikeouts in his 81

1:28:43 plate appearances.

1:28:47 SWING AND A MISS, SANTORCIERO.

1:28:51 CLOWNS WIN THE INNING.

1:28:55 And Britches be tripping.

1:29:06 Boxing, welcome back. AJ

1:29:08 AJ, what did you rate my closet? Those

1:29:10 look like my sweatpants. Yeah, Panda, I

1:29:12 can either confirm nor deny that I've

1:29:14 been in your closet, but I can confirm

1:29:17 that we've got one heck of a race on our

1:29:19 hands. When I say go, these two down

1:29:22 here are going to hop into those

1:29:24 oversized pants, britches, if you will,

1:29:28 just a single leg. When you get down and

1:29:30 reach your partners, you are going to

1:29:32 hop into the other single leg of those

1:29:36 oversized pants. It's Paige and Sydney

1:29:39 against Haley and Ellie. There's a good

1:29:42 chance you're going to fall somewhere in

1:29:44 route, which is why we call this game

1:29:47 Britches Be Tripping. ON YOUR MARK, GET

1:29:51 SET, GO!

1:29:54 >> [music]

1:29:55 >> And they're off.

1:29:56 Look at the technique.

1:29:58 They must have done this before. It is

1:30:01 neck and neck as they reach their

1:30:02 partners.

1:30:05 The true test awaits.

1:30:07 Look at the teamwork.

1:30:09 >> [cheering]

1:30:10 >> And they

1:30:11 made it.

1:30:12 >> [music]

1:30:14 >> And down they go.

1:30:26 Bridges were certainly tripping.

1:30:31 I don't need to see that again.

1:30:37 The mountain

1:30:39 in the distance

1:30:43 at Cheney Stadium here in Tacoma,

1:30:45 Washington.

1:30:46 Nico Hulka at the plate. Hulka.

1:30:50 Oh, boy.

1:30:52 Keep a hot bat.

1:31:02 Single roped in the center.

1:31:07 And you know,

1:31:09 Brett Helton went complete game last

1:31:11 weekend in Indianapolis against these

1:31:12 clowns.

1:31:16 And that was his goal going into this

1:31:17 one.

1:31:18 But so far, the results just not

1:31:21 matching up to

1:31:22 what he'd like.

1:31:25 Giving up a couple home runs here early.

1:31:29 Clowns are starting to figure him out

1:31:30 the more they see him

1:31:37 here in this campaign.

1:31:40 Chris Burgess

1:31:46 fans have a shot at it.

1:31:49 Cannot finish.

1:32:04 Bryant

1:32:09 looped to second base.

1:32:12 Could not get Nico Holsizer.

1:32:23 And Burgess faces a 1-2.

1:32:29 Burgess, another base hit for the

1:32:31 Clowns. Holsizer headed home. No need

1:32:34 for a throw. There's one anyway.

1:32:38 Holsizer scores. Here come the Clowns at

1:32:40 home plate to celebrate.

1:33:00 >> [music]

1:33:05 [music]

1:33:15 [music]

1:33:21 >> Kirkland Banks is a thespian.

1:33:27 Clowns have stayed hot.

1:33:34 We've seen eight runs already combined

1:33:56 Two in scoring position for Eric Fox's

1:33:59 squad.

1:34:03 Oh, man.

1:34:10 Helton threw 118 pitches in his complete

1:34:12 game effort last weekend.

1:34:15 He's thrown 64 here today and it's not

1:34:17 out of the fourth yet.

1:34:24 Joe Gray Jr. in the right field.

1:34:27 The fans are the only ones who could

1:34:28 come up with it and they do not.

1:34:32 Well, not cleanly at least. That girl

1:34:34 does She did

1:34:36 Smile. You caught a foul ball. Be be

1:34:38 happy.

1:34:45 Helton with the drone overhead.

1:34:58 Trey Hudson nailed the call. It's 1-1.

1:35:01 Still nobody out. Infield in.

1:35:06 Ooh, right field. Handled on the run.

1:35:09 It's off the wall.

1:35:11 Joe Gray Jr., his second extra base hit

1:37:10 0-2.

1:37:17 There is

1:37:20 no action in the Party Animals bullpen.

1:37:21 So, I think they're going to ride Helton

1:37:23 here for a little bit longer.

1:37:26 This is his third time through the

1:37:27 lineup. Now he's faced the four-hole Joe

1:37:29 Lidle for the third time.

1:37:39 Only two of the 10 clowns

1:51:35 >> THAT will tie the inning as Fisher is

1:51:39 Bases are still loaded after a single

1:51:41 from the MVP. Man, Jake Scholl

1:51:46 Sprat last night. He's two for three

1:51:48 today.

1:51:51 His batting average

1:51:53 His numbers across the board climbing,

1:51:55 climbing, and climbing.

1:52:01 Now, TJ Reeves.

1:52:03 He opened the game last night with the

1:52:04 best batting average on the team.

1:52:06 Right up there with a guy like Mikey

1:53:58 Happy Memorial Day weekend, everybody.

1:54:04 I I still have a very

1:54:07 very real fear that I am somewhere in a

1:54:09 coma.

1:54:13 Not just Tacoma.

1:54:15 I'm in Tacoma.

1:54:17 And when the doc wakes me up

1:54:19 and I say

1:54:21 the MVP hit a home run off the world's

1:54:23 first pitching mascot

1:54:25 and the first regulation grand slam was

1:54:27 hit by the rookie TJ Reeves who also got

1:54:29 a hit off of stilts. Yes, there's a guy

1:54:30 who pitches on stilts. That was in 2023

1:54:33 where the Party Animals won nine games

1:54:34 in a row to come back down eight games

1:54:36 to win the tour.

1:54:38 Doc's going to say, "All right, back.

1:54:39 Put him back in a coma. Keep these shut.

1:54:41 He's done too much.

1:54:42 Too many bitter drills. He's not This

1:59:21 Swaney tripped coming around first base

1:59:23 but still has time to retreat

2:03:53 first time up against Brett Helton.

2:03:56 Knocked a single his second step to the

2:03:57 plate.

2:04:02 >> [cheering]

2:04:02 >> And pops out here. That is if the trick

2:04:04 play opportunity goes well for the

2:04:06 Animals.

2:04:09 It does. Count it times two.

2:04:16 A couple of trick plays for the PAs.

2:04:21 Black and pink

2:04:23 running away with a trick play count.

2:04:31 7 to 2

2:04:34 as Ryan Rod faces Jaylen Vasquez who is

2:04:36 two for two. Single and a double.

2:04:42 >> [cheering]

2:04:44 >> Ryan Rod UP OVER TWO.

2:04:48 >> [cheering]

2:04:48 >> VASQUEZ HAS NINE STRIKEOUTS IN HIS 67

2:04:51 plate appearances.

2:04:53 6-7

2:04:55 >> [cheering]

2:04:57 >> Rodriguez, four strikeouts

2:05:00 in his seven and a third innings

2:05:01 pitched. [cheering]

2:05:08 And Ryan may have hit him. No, he

2:05:10 didn't. [cheering]

2:05:14 That is No, Vasquez did not go. That was

2:05:17 the question.

2:05:18 >> [cheering]

2:05:21 >> Did Vasquez go here? He gets hit with

2:05:23 the pitch.

2:05:25 All right, there's your look at it. He

2:05:27 Yeah, I mean

2:05:33 Vasquez is hit by the pitch. He'll take

2:05:34 first base.

2:05:38 Joe Gray Jr., a double and a home run

2:05:40 today. Had a home run last night. Had a

2:05:42 home run Friday night. What more could

2:05:44 you want? Ryan Rod

2:05:45 6-2-2

2:06:06 That's a mighty fine picking in a

2:06:08 singing.

2:06:10 The thrust from Ryan Rodriguez.

2:06:14 Had a really good breaking ball, but

2:06:16 Joe Gray Jr. won't bite.

2:06:32 >> [music]

2:06:32 >> Count back at 2-1 for the

2:06:39 former Med student, Ryan Rodriguez,

2:06:41 turned Banana Baller.

2:06:46 A swing and a miss.

2:06:48 >> [cheering]

2:06:48 >> Former second rounder, Joe Gray Jr.

2:06:52 Milwaukee Brewers farmhand.

2:06:56 Finds himself with a [cheering] 2-2.

2:06:57 Great pickoff, not in time.

2:07:02 Even better job by the control room,

2:07:03 [music] Chris Haynes directing.

2:07:06 Quick cut to that. Oh, no.

2:07:10 They have been worthy of a challenge,

2:07:11 the Party Animals. They were wise not to

2:07:13 use one right here.

2:07:15 The fans could have gone to it. Nobody

2:07:17 does. And it doesn't matter.

2:07:20 Can I help you, sir? No, I'm just

2:07:24 looking.

2:07:30 Just the second strikeout today for the

2:07:33 Indianapolis Clowns offense.

2:07:37 Just the third strikeout of the day

2:07:39 overall

2:07:40 for these two teams.

2:07:45 And now Ryan Rodriguez faces Jackie

2:07:48 Bradley Jr.

2:07:51 Only in Banana Ball.

2:07:59 Strike two on JBJ.

2:08:03 Trey Hudson giving Ryan Ron a little

2:08:04 help.

2:08:14 Ryan Ron has turned around facing second

2:08:16 base, dials home, outside back pick, not

2:08:19 in time.

2:08:34 >> Runner goes. JBJ into right.

2:08:37 Down for a single.

2:08:40 Vasquez to third. They're on the corners

2:08:42 for the clowns.

2:08:51 >> [screaming]

2:08:51 >> Bobby LaDay a home run his first time to

2:08:54 play two run shot against Brett Hell.

2:09:00 Loud way to start the first frame of

2:09:01 this game.

2:09:07 He'd love to add to it.

2:09:15 LaDay's hit by the pitch.

2:09:17 Bases are loaded for Joe Lidle.

2:09:38 We saw the first regulation grand slam

2:09:40 in Savannah Bananas history earlier

2:09:42 today from TJ Reeves.

2:09:44 Could we see the second in Savannah

2:09:46 Bananas history from Joe Lidle?

2:10:06 Lidle is yet to go long this season.

2:10:10 Playing in his 15th game of 2026.

2:10:20 His 56th plate appearance.

2:10:28 >> [music]

2:10:38 >> Lidle's [music] got the top of the last

2:10:39 couple ones.

2:10:42 Foul ball straight back. Ryan Rod wants

2:10:43 to waste a pitch.

2:10:45 2-2

2:10:46 Smart move from the sexy Mexi.

2:10:52 Got to have it here.

2:10:54 Top of the sixth, one point game.

2:10:57 Bases loaded. Two outs.

2:11:00 3-2 count.

2:11:01 Ryan Rodriguez on Joe Lidle.

2:11:08 Payoff.

2:11:10 Grounded to Beaber. Dustin Beaber

2:11:13 bouncer, yeah!

2:11:14 >> [screaming]

2:11:15 >> RYAN ROD LEAVES HIM STRANDED AND HE'S

2:11:17 INCENSED.

2:11:19 POSITIVELY. OKAY, woah woah woah. WOAH

2:11:22 WOAH WOAH.

2:11:25 ALL OVER THE 6,500 on hand here

2:11:28 in Tacoma.

2:11:33 Whole team fired up. No, no, no.

2:11:36 [laughter]

2:11:36 Right into your living room. 3D.

2:11:40 Sexy Mexi.

2:11:44 During a Party Animals Dart Day.

2:11:49 Spectacular drone shot.

2:11:55 These teams are working what we call in

2:11:56 Banana Land the world's fastest inning.

2:11:58 So, while promotions like crowd sing

2:12:01 off,

2:12:02 Hey baby,

2:12:04 Salute the troops are happening, players

2:12:07 will likely warm up on the field to

2:12:09 ensure that as fast as possible they can

2:12:11 get us

2:12:12 back in the game play.

2:12:14 >> [cheering]

2:12:16 >> Reason being is that

2:12:19 >> [cheering]

2:12:21 >> with still many innings to go, a long

2:12:23 way to go.

2:12:25 On the bottom of the sixth, there are

2:12:26 just 28 and a half minutes left on that

2:12:29 timer.

2:12:31 And no new inning can begin if those 28

2:12:32 and a half expire.

2:12:35 >> [cheering]

2:12:40 >> Bryson Bloomer at the plate.

2:12:43 Still ahead 2-1 after the foul ball.

2:12:48 >> [cheering]

2:12:53 >> And now 2-2.

2:12:54 >> [cheering]

2:12:56 >> Bloomer takes the spot of Fisher in the

2:12:57 10 hole.

2:12:59 >> [cheering]

2:13:04 >> 3-2

2:13:06 payoff

2:13:07 Bryson Bloomer

2:13:09 >> [cheering]

2:13:09 >> left field

2:13:11 toward the wall is Dan Suro. He's got

2:13:13 room.

2:13:20 Dan Suro's gone to work today.

2:13:26 Just a grinder

2:13:27 here in Banana Ball, Dan Suro has

2:13:29 forced himself into the lineup

2:13:32 for the Indianapolis Clowns, an

2:13:34 Energizer Bunny both in the field and at

2:13:36 the plate.

2:13:46 Cosgrove

2:13:47 hometown kid

2:13:50 Ball four Sprint, ball four Sprint, hit

2:13:52 by pitch.

2:13:54 Luckily, he was okay after getting hit

2:13:55 in the hand.

2:13:57 Rolls one over, worm burner, ground out.

2:14:05 It's part of the the conversation. As

2:14:07 the time ticks down, both teams want to

2:14:09 go as fast as they can.

2:14:11 Get you to the ninth inning.

2:14:13 >> [screaming]

2:14:14 >> With the trick plays at Party Animals

2:14:15 eight, Clowns two,

2:14:17 the Clowns have a long way to go

2:14:20 to win the equalizer. And they know

2:14:21 [music] if they they push trick plays

2:14:23 too far, a trick play missed

2:14:27 would only hurt that timer. Hampton into

2:14:28 right.

2:14:30 Jackie Bradley Jr. What great range for

2:14:33 the big leaguer.

2:14:37 That ball kept carrying.

2:14:40 Jackie Bradley Jr. can run.

2:14:44 Inning over. 3-2 still the score to go

2:14:47 to the top of the seventh.

2:14:48 Peter Holden comes out for the Animals

2:14:50 on the mound.

2:14:51 >> [cheering]

2:14:53 >> But again, it's that

2:14:54 the trick plays for the Clowns here.

2:14:57 Speed is paramount, right?

2:14:59 >> [cheering]

2:15:01 >> Down by six, a trick play missed

2:15:03 prolongs us.

2:15:05 >> [cheering]

2:15:05 >> She's not really thinking about the game

2:15:07 of an animal and how the Clowns want to

2:15:09 strategize this to put themselves in the

2:15:10 best position to win.

2:15:12 >> [cheering]

2:15:12 >> To get to that ninth inning and win.

2:15:15 Where every run counts in the book.

2:15:17 >> [cheering]

2:15:23 >> Players running through the crowd

2:15:24 tossing out free t-shirts.

2:15:27 >> [cheering]

2:15:30 >> Peter Holden

2:15:33 took his third loss of the season last

2:15:34 night

2:15:35 >> [cheering]

2:15:37 >> while pitching in the eighth. That

2:15:38 inning became the final inning

2:15:41 as the Clowns got a hold of Pete.

2:15:45 He's making his 15th appearance this

2:15:47 season.

2:15:55 Last night,

2:15:57 a 9.33 ERA.

2:16:02 And in his singular in a single inning,

2:16:05 two earned runs, four hits,

2:16:07 Couple ball four sprints as well.

2:16:11 Dribbler,

2:16:13 Dale Francis Jr.

2:16:16 Fouls the left side.

2:16:18 Big boy got down the line quick. If that

2:16:20 ball stayed on the white line,

2:16:23 the five hole for the Clowns would have

2:16:24 been safe on an infield single, but

2:16:25 instead he walks back to the plate.

2:16:49 Third base, fouled in foul territory.

2:16:52 Another foul ball for Dale Francis Jr.

2:16:59 Fort Pierce, Florida.

2:17:00 One of the many Earth-skin ties to

2:17:02 Banana Ball.

2:17:05 Dale Francis Jr. finishes his college

2:17:07 career at Gardner-Webb.

2:17:10 Swings, misses over the off-speed

2:17:14 for Peter Holden, Pistol Pete, Cool

2:17:16 Lemon.

2:17:22 Now

2:17:26 Corral Prime.

2:17:43 He's ahead 2-0. What is that?

2:17:46 And how do we get it to stop?

2:17:50 That's the 12th rule of Banana Ball

2:17:52 should be that that headpiece is

2:17:53 illegal.

2:18:02 Ball four sprint from Holden to Prime.

2:18:13 Malachi Flash, the kid Mitchell, in to

2:18:15 run

2:18:16 for the sixth hole.

2:18:19 Eli Payton's one for three today.

2:18:22 Steps in the left-handed batter's box.

2:18:25 The lefty on lefty.

2:18:32 >> [cheering]

2:18:34 >> The league leader in stolen bases,

2:18:36 Malachi Mitchell, swipes another.

2:18:57 Ball out from Pete.

2:19:03 Flash's 15th swipe bag of the season.

2:19:07 Bryce Gasaway sits in second with 12 of

2:19:09 the Savannah Bananas.

2:19:23 Payton into center.

2:19:25 Hampton.

2:19:27 Clean catch. Flash, the kid, will not

2:19:29 [music] test the arm

2:19:31 of the wily center fielder.

2:19:35 Here comes Nico Holsizer again. Let's

2:19:37 take a look at that clock. 21 minutes,

2:19:39 42 seconds left

2:19:42 before it hits zero. And if it hits

2:19:43 zero, no new inning can begin.

2:19:45 We do we have an opportunity, couple

2:19:47 quick ones here, to get to the ninth.

2:19:55 >> [music]

2:19:57 >> Giving away the bats.

2:19:59 Well, tomorrow we'll get to Have started

2:20:00 in this one.

2:20:02 Testament to the speed of both these

2:20:03 teams. Trying to get us there.

2:20:06 >> [cheering]

2:20:07 >> Flash, headed home.

2:20:09 Throw it from the left, OFF LINE.

2:20:13 CLOWNS HAVE A RUN here in the seventh.

2:20:18 On a single from Nico Hoerner, who's two

2:20:20 for four today.

2:20:28 Thomas had some time to work [music]

2:20:29 with.

2:20:31 Just couldn't quite put it on the money

2:20:32 for Bronson Ball home.

2:20:51 Burgess

2:20:58 With two down and a man at first base.

2:21:00 Can add to it.

2:21:08 Here with us at Manatees Ball via the

2:21:09 Pioneer League.

2:21:16 And down one, two on Pistol Pete.

2:21:21 Peter, the Vero Beach, Florida kid.

2:21:23 >> [cheering]

2:21:24 >> Finish him.

2:21:30 Foul.

2:21:41 Broken bat from Burgess.

2:21:46 Nick Wilson come out of the dugout, give

2:21:47 him a new one.

2:21:49 Fresh wood.

2:21:56 And a new bat.

2:22:04 Burgess launched it to left. Tanner

2:22:07 Thomas spun around. It's off the wall.

2:22:10 Paul Sizer gets the wave. Crowd!

2:22:14 A

2:22:14 >> [cheering]

2:22:15 >> crooked number in the seventh.

2:22:19 The crowd was excited about it, too.

2:22:21 This crowd good ball.

2:22:24 Stand up double for Burgess.

2:22:29 Now Kirkland Banks will hit the 10 hole

2:22:31 for Jaylen Vasquez.

2:22:33 >> [screaming]

2:22:35 >> Vasquez was not retired in this one.

2:22:37 Single double hit by Ditch.

2:22:42 Competed at 92 miles an hour. Strike

2:22:45 one.

2:22:58 KB

2:23:01 was in the starting lineup last night.

2:23:07 Relieve Vasquez today.

2:23:17 Banks. That ball's hanging in right.

2:23:21 In to make the play, big ball.

2:23:25 Crowd strike for two in the seventh. Can

2:23:28 the animals match it? We'll find out. In

2:23:29 the meantime, Rex Castillo is down on

2:23:32 the field. Rex, what do you got for me?

2:23:35 Drake, you mentioned this is the last

2:23:36 day we can buy these player jerseys. And

2:23:38 this is the one I want. I know. Look,

2:23:40 this is the one that I wanted. This is

2:23:42 the one that I wanted.

2:23:43 >> me you'd have party animals.

2:23:44 >> No, I I I not lie. This is the one that

2:23:46 >> Hey, Rex, I got some guys to take care

2:23:47 of that

2:23:48 >> for me. We're going to be all right

2:23:49 here.

2:23:49 >> man.

2:23:51 Come on, man. You've been to enough

2:23:52 games to know what's up. You know these

2:23:54 colors don't run.

2:23:56 They party.

2:23:58 Back to you, Drake.

2:24:00 Thank you, Stevie P. Torres, the party

2:24:04 starters.

2:24:37 pitch he sees. Jake Scholl, left field.

2:24:47 Off the glove of Dansereau after it

2:24:49 bounced off

2:24:52 the video board.

2:25:00 Scholl is three for four today.

2:25:03 Here comes TJ Reeves. He homered his

2:25:05 last time at the plate.

2:25:07 The first regulation grand slam of

2:25:08 Banana Ball history.

2:25:11 Reeves, stay hot.

2:25:13 Drops a single into center. Scholl gets

2:25:15 the wave, but it's bobbled by Joe Gray

2:25:17 Jr.

2:25:20 >> [cheering]

2:25:21 >> Just like that, Party Animals cut the

2:25:25 Clowns seventh-inning lead in half.

2:25:28 Reeves is now four for four today.

2:25:34 The rookie has a veteran presence.

2:25:37 He will stay in the game to run.

2:25:40 Here's Jason Swan.

2:25:52 Swanny

2:25:54 Curving foul.

2:25:57 >> [cheering]

2:26:06 Double play ball. Payton to Banks. Banks

2:26:12 Double play for the Clouds.

2:26:19 And the fans challenge this.

2:26:23 >> [cheering]

2:26:23 >> Peanut takes his kite to the outfield.

2:26:28 Umpires [music] will try to work quickly

2:26:30 to confirm or overturn

2:26:37 this play.

2:26:40 Swan is clearly out.

2:26:45 Upon further review, the call ON THE

2:26:48 FIELD STANDS. THE batter is out.

2:26:51 >> it for you.

2:26:54 >> [cheering]

2:26:54 >> Fans burn their challenge.

2:26:57 And Mikey Ballard is the last hope in

2:27:00 the seventh.

2:27:04 Ballard, fair ball in the corner. Extra

2:27:08 bases on their way.

2:27:12 Ballard takes two.

2:27:14 Two for four today.

2:27:19 Now Chase Acuff.

2:27:21 He is

2:27:24 one of just two players for the Party

2:27:26 Animals today without a hit.

2:27:28 Now make it one of three. Cosgrove's

2:27:29 reached three times.

2:27:32 But not via base knock.

2:27:37 Can he drive in his former college

2:27:38 teammate?

2:27:39 >> I have absolutely no idea.

2:27:44 It's Nick Wilson who's in his third

2:27:45 inning of work here.

2:28:37 >> [groaning]

2:29:50 21 then 22 runs.

2:29:59 That's the 23rd

2:30:11 >> [cheering]

2:30:12 >> Dylan Poor comes to the game to pitch

2:30:14 for the Party Animals.

2:30:22 Pistol Squad is the best reliever the

2:30:23 Animals have this season.

2:30:25 The numbers back that up.

2:30:29 >> [cheering]

2:30:38 >> Sparty and Peanuts go toe-to-toe in the

2:30:40 kite competition.

2:30:44 It's a very similar situation that we

2:30:45 found ourselves in in the eighth inning

2:30:46 last night.

2:30:48 Clock around 11 minutes.

2:30:50 It expired in the eighth.

2:30:52 >> [cheering]

2:30:54 >> Did not see a ninth inning.

2:30:58 In an eight to six loss for the Animals.

2:31:04 >> [cheering]

2:31:06 >> It was three to three headed into the

2:31:08 eighth. Pistol Squad goes for a trick

2:31:10 play.

2:31:11 >> [cheering]

2:31:18 >> And because the Indianapolis Clowns

2:31:19 scored five runs in the top of the

2:31:21 eighth, and the clock expired in that

2:31:23 same inning, they were awarded

2:31:24 [cheering] five points and it became the

2:31:25 final inning.

2:31:26 Swing and a miss. Strikeout.

2:31:29 >> [cheering]

2:31:30 >> For Dillon Porter against Jackie Bradley

2:31:32 Jr. in his fifth time at the plate.

2:31:40 >> [cheering]

2:31:41 >> The animals put up three in the bottom

2:31:43 half

2:31:44 of that inning

2:31:46 for an 8-6 finish.

2:31:49 >> [cheering]

2:31:52 >> And we are on

2:31:54 record watch. Unofficially 32 combined

2:31:56 hits today between these two squads.

2:31:59 The record for most in the game is 33.

2:32:09 It's happened a couple times. Most

2:32:10 [music] recently, April 11th of 2026.

2:32:23 JBJ to left.

2:32:28 Fourth base hit for him.

2:32:30 The only

2:32:32 humans in this complex today able to

2:32:34 retire Jackie Bradley Jr. were the fans.

2:32:41 Now, Bobby La Day comes up.

2:32:48 He homered on Friday.

2:32:50 Homered again today.

2:32:52 It's his first time at the plate.

2:32:58 One for three on the afternoon. Has also

2:33:00 been hit by a pitch.

2:33:16 Ball in.

2:33:21 >> [cheering]

2:33:28 >> Ball four sprint.

2:33:31 Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I've

2:33:33 seen this script before.

2:33:36 That clock is 7:45. [music]

2:33:38 If the Clowns start putting up runs here

2:33:40 in the eighth

2:33:42 and the clock expires, they become

2:33:43 points.

2:33:47 I'm not sure if I want to play that game

2:33:49 again.

2:33:52 Flashbacks.

2:33:54 >> [cheering]

2:33:58 >> Porter can negate all of that.

2:34:00 The ground ball

2:34:02 to Dustin Baber.

2:34:03 Turn two, go to the bottom of the

2:34:05 eighth.

2:34:15 Lidle takes in.

2:34:30 Joe Lidle, foul.

2:34:33 Party animal

2:34:35 turned firefighter turned Indianapolis

2:34:39 Clown.

2:34:41 Been a valuable piece.

2:34:44 >> [music]

2:34:44 >> He was three for four last night,

2:34:47 but one for four today.

2:34:56 3-1 from Porter.

2:34:59 Hitter's count for Lidle.

2:35:02 Ball four, it's outside.

2:35:05 They'll be on the corners. The Clowns

2:35:06 have a run in the eighth.

2:35:11 Clock at six minutes. If that expires,

2:35:14 every Any

2:35:16 that is scored in this inning will count

2:35:18 as a point.

2:35:20 Given the fact this will become the

2:35:21 final inning.

2:35:25 It's exactly what happened last night to

2:35:27 give the Clowns the eight to six

2:35:28 victory.

2:35:33 Three straight Indianapolis Clowns have

2:35:35 reached.

2:35:37 Now here's the big bat of Dale Francis

2:35:39 Jr. Two home runs yesterday.

2:35:42 Two for four today.

2:35:59 Porter's got two strikes on him.

2:36:02 Animals lead the Trick Plays eight to

2:36:04 two over the Clowns. No need to go

2:36:05 pistol squat for a Trick Play strikeout

2:36:07 here.

2:36:10 That trick pitch strikeout.

2:36:13 It's not something that

2:36:16 Porter opts for.

2:36:20 Wisely I might add.

2:36:32 Right field.

2:36:33 Score at the wall, IT'S GONE.

2:36:36 >> [cheering]

2:36:37 >> DALE FRANCIS JR.

2:36:40 His third home run in the last two

2:36:43 games.

2:36:44 Three-run blast.

2:36:50 And with four minutes and 30 seconds

2:36:52 left in the eighth inning,

2:36:54 we're four minutes and 30 seconds away

2:36:57 from the Clowns being awarded four

2:36:59 points in a game they trail four to two.

2:37:08 >> [screaming and groaning]

2:37:09 >> Nightmare, nightmare,

2:37:14 That's the third blast of the day for

2:37:16 the Clowns.

2:37:27 We saw eight home runs yesterday. We've

2:37:28 seen four today between these two teams.

2:37:33 And that hit

2:37:34 that home run was the record for hits in

2:37:37 the game in the Banana Ball Championship

2:37:38 League.

2:37:40 Comes off the bat of Dail Francis Jr.

2:37:53 Swing and a miss from Correlle Bryant.

2:38:05 That's off the ankle of Porter. It's a

2:38:07 base hit for Bryant.

2:38:11 Infield single.

2:38:13 Correlle's first knock of the afternoon.

2:38:16 Porter moving quickly.

2:38:30 >> [cheering]

2:38:31 >> That's through.

2:38:32 Base hit for Peyton.

2:38:35 >> [screaming]

2:38:38 >> I'm going to set you up for it.

2:38:41 There's a 93% chance per the Banana

2:38:45 Banana lytics.

2:38:47 The clock expires here in the eighth.

2:38:51 Every run scored in this inning will

2:38:53 become a point for the Indianapolis

2:38:54 Clowns and they would take a 6-4 lead.

2:38:58 Brotz's ball home retires Nico Hoerner

2:39:00 as animals moving quickly.

2:39:05 Last night, this is what happened. Same

2:39:07 scenario. Exact same scenario.

2:39:11 And there's an option where the Party

2:39:13 Animals could walk to the [music] plate

2:39:14 and strike out, strike out, strike out,

2:39:15 get to the ninth. If that's the case,

2:39:17 they would lead the game 4-3. They'd

2:39:19 have the lead if they all go up and

2:39:20 strike out, strike out, strike out.

2:39:24 Or they could play it as it lies.

2:39:26 You don't want to ask your guys to

2:39:28 strike out.

2:39:32 Yet last night, no matter what, the

2:39:34 Animals would have been facing a deficit

2:39:36 in that ninth inning today.

2:39:38 If the next three guys in their lineup

2:39:42 10, 1, and 2 all strike out, they go to

2:39:45 the ninth with a 4-3 lead.

2:39:52 With a minute and 29 left in this

2:39:54 eighth, I I this is going to be it. This

2:39:56 is going to be the final inning.

2:40:00 And another

2:40:03 run that will soon turn point comes home

2:40:05 for the Clowns.

2:40:19 We entered

2:40:27 this

2:40:28 frame

2:40:30 with 11 minutes,

2:40:33 10 and 1/2 minutes left on the 2-hour

2:40:36 timer.

2:40:39 Quarter is at 9:50.

2:40:48 And now over 10 minutes

2:40:52 for DP

2:40:55 who's seen five runs come across.

2:41:00 KB, Kirkland Banks, into the stands.

2:41:06 Leave the yard, opposite way.

2:41:14 Another

2:41:16 run comes home.

2:41:18 And officially, those are points.

2:41:21 The 2-hour timer has expired. Welcome to

2:41:24 the final inning.

2:41:39 It is now 8 to 4.

2:41:43 The Clowns are doubling up the Party

2:41:45 Animals.

2:41:53 And you can see on the faces in the

2:41:54 dugout a distraught Party Animals group.

2:42:00 They entered the eighth inning with a

2:42:01 4-2 lead.

2:42:03 They now trail by four.

2:42:10 Skull tracking in another base hit.

2:42:13 Burgess holds at third.

2:42:16 We're approaching 40 hits in this game

2:42:18 combined.

2:42:23 And Joe

2:42:25 Joe Gray Jr.

2:42:27 comes to the plate for his sixth time.

2:42:31 Second time this inning.

2:42:33 They've hit around on the Party Animals.

2:42:47 >> [cheering]

2:42:49 >> Flyout.

2:42:55 I don't know how to conceptualize

2:42:59 what we saw last night and what we're

2:43:01 seeing 17 hours later.

2:43:03 But I can tell you that hit number 34 a

2:43:07 three-run home run off the bat of Dail

2:43:09 Francis Jr.

2:43:11 That was hit number one from Bobby LeDay

2:43:13 that you just saw. That hit 34 came from

2:43:15 Dail Francis Jr. broke the record for

2:43:17 combined hits in a game. These two teams

2:43:19 currently sit at 37.

2:43:21 21 for the Clowns, [music] 16 for the

2:43:23 Party Animals.

2:43:36 Nick Wilson will come in to pitch

2:43:39 for his fourth inning of work for the

2:43:40 Indianapolis Clowns.

2:43:42 He needs to hold the Party Animals

2:43:46 to three or fewer.

2:43:49 That's it, baby.

2:43:52 It's the final inning.

2:43:54 >> [cheering]

2:44:00 >> See the Animals go to their golden

2:44:02 batter here as well. That's an option.

2:44:05 They did not utilize last night.

2:44:10 >> [cheering]

2:44:10 >> Jake School was prepared to do so.

2:44:15 Did not enter the game.

2:44:19 >> [screaming and cheering]

2:44:26 [cheering]

2:44:31 >> A 10-hole who entered for Fish

2:44:36 Bryson Bloomer.

2:44:39 >> [cheering]

2:44:41 >> Bloomer

2:44:43 into left.

2:44:45 Out number one. Yes, for the Clowns.

2:44:50 >> [cheering]

2:45:03 [cheering]

2:45:06 >> Cosgrove

2:45:11 Ball up and out.

2:45:33 >> [cheering]

2:45:35 >> Cos

2:45:38 Pop out.

2:45:41 And he throws the bat.

2:45:45 Rightfully frustrated and Nick Wilson

2:45:47 has in essence

2:45:51 saved this game for the clowns. He won't

2:45:53 be rewarded with a save here.

2:45:56 But his his ability to come back

2:46:00 for a fourth inning of work

2:46:03 and help shut the door will earn him a

2:46:05 win.

2:46:07 Unless there's a miracle in the bats of

2:46:08 these animals.

2:46:17 Still that party in the dugout

2:46:19 can sense

2:46:21 That's it.

2:46:22 >> [cheering]

2:46:22 >> Minute and 37 seconds from Nick Wilson.

2:46:26 THE CLOWNS ENTERED THE EIGHTH INNING

2:46:29 DOWN FOUR to two. They leave the eighth

2:46:31 inning with an eight to four victory.

2:46:34 Indianapolis takes Tacoma.

2:46:37 The series belongs to the maroon

2:46:41 and navy.

2:47:14 >> [music]

2:47:19 [music]

2:47:27 [music]

2:47:35 [music]

2:47:40 [music]

2:47:47 [music]

2:47:56 >> What a win.

2:47:58 Two in a row, they call that a streak.

2:48:01 For the clowns, Eric Fox's team. Luck

2:48:04 had nothing to do with it.

2:48:08 Jackie Bradley Jr.

2:48:10 The player of the game, showman of the

2:48:13 game.

2:48:14 And the party animals look on as Rex

2:48:16 Castillo has him. Thank you so much,

2:48:18 Drake. Jackie, the clock runs out,

2:48:20 you're trailing by two, it runs out and

2:48:21 all of a sudden it flips on its head,

2:48:22 you guys have the win. You're reacting

2:48:24 to a crazy game like that. Unbelievable

2:48:26 game, that's why you continue to keep

2:48:28 swinging the bats, keep throwing the

2:48:29 ball, and see what happens at the end.

2:48:31 You know, thankfully, this is one of the

2:48:33 highest hitting performances by both

2:48:35 teams, so

2:48:36 I know we didn't get them hit two hours,

2:48:38 but there's there's a lot of hits on the

2:48:39 board. A lot of entertainment cuz the

2:48:41 bats were red hot, a record-setting game

2:48:43 between both teams, over 35 hits. Have

2:48:46 you ever been a part of anything like

2:48:47 that? Probably, but I I probably can't

2:48:49 remember. Um but um unbelievable day.

2:48:52 We're We're glad to um get the series

2:48:53 win today. And now uh to end this with a

2:48:55 Banana Ball Backstage question,

2:48:57 9-year-old Charles wants to know, who

2:48:59 was your favorite baseball player

2:49:00 growing up?

2:49:02 I had a lot of good ones. Um but

2:49:04 let's go I mean, it was uh Ken Griffey

2:49:06 Jr. Ken Griffey Jr., the kid. Awesome.

2:49:08 And Torii Hunter. I also got to give a

2:49:10 shoutout to Torii Hunter. Yeah, but very

2:49:11 appropriate for where we're at. A

2:49:12 record-setting day. Jackie, thank you so

2:49:14 much. Drake, let's send it back to you.

2:49:16 Thank you, Rex. Ken Griffey Jr. and

2:49:18 Torii Hunter. Torii Hunter, the uh

2:49:20 Pine Bluff, Arkansas, kid, huh?

2:49:23 JBJ, showman of the game. The only time

2:49:26 that he was

2:49:28 He was sat down

2:49:29 >> [laughter]

2:49:29 >> in this contest was by the fans.

2:49:32 Fan caught foul ball.

2:49:34 >> [music]

2:49:34 >> Uh yeah, you know, the There's There's

2:49:37 the adage

2:49:39 that that a lot of coaches will use,

2:49:40 football, basketball. We uh they'll say

2:49:44 we we never lost a game, just ran out of

2:49:46 time.

2:49:48 And Party Animals lost the game today

2:49:50 because they ran out of time.

2:49:52 The Clowns struck for six runs in the

2:49:54 eighth. We entered the eighth with 10

2:49:56 and 1/2 minutes to go.

2:49:58 Uh and that 10 and 1/2 minutes expired

2:50:00 in the top half of that inning.

2:50:03 And those six runs became six points for

2:50:05 the Indianapolis Clowns,

2:50:06 who rally for an 8-4 victory over the

2:50:08 Party Animals. The exact same thing

2:50:12 happened last night. The Clowns turning

2:50:14 runs into points in an inning that was

2:50:16 not the ninth, and ultimately winning

2:50:18 the game because

2:50:20 of that rule. Welcome to Banana Ball.

2:50:23 Wow.

2:50:24 What a weird one. A final score of 8-6.

2:50:28 Clowns on top, but the Animals, they

2:50:30 take Tacoma. They deserved it. We'll see

2:50:32 you next weekend. The Party Animals will

2:50:34 be in Orlando taking on the Coconuts.

2:50:36 The Clowns will meet the Savannah

2:50:37 Bananas hosting Indianapolis hosting its

2:50:40 own show in Kansas City in a Major

2:50:41 League Baseball stadium. That leaves the

2:50:43 Fire Fighters, the Texas [music]

2:50:45 Tailgaters over in Corpus Christi.

2:50:47 Chadwick folks out producing today.

2:50:49 Chris Hames did an incredible job

2:50:50 directing.

2:50:51 >> [music]

2:50:51 >> Our official statistician for the

2:50:52 contest, Riley Turner. Down on the

2:50:54 field, Rex Castillo. Thank you very much

2:50:56 for your work. [music] The clowns close

2:50:58 it out and win the game in the end.

2:51:02 Drake Toll with you as always.

2:51:05 Ooh.

2:51:06 Clowns win.

2:51:07 But good afternoon.

2:51:10 And party on.
