6:22 It's very impressive what the Tailgators

6:24 have done. Obviously with the defense

6:25 that they have behind them, you can kind

6:26 of come to expect that. But Jared

6:28 Donaldson with a team that hasn't

6:30 evencliped 200 trick plays yet. [music]

6:32 It's still been inducing a lot of ground

6:33 balls and getting a lot of trick plays

6:34 in the firefighters.

6:35 >> Especially when you take a peek at the

6:36 fact that they have struck out a ton of

6:38 batters and also had a ton of ball four

6:40 sprints. The firefighters getting that

6:42 many trick plays for Jared Donaldson

6:45 speaks volumes about how good that

6:46 defense has [music] the potential to be.

6:48 We've talked about trick plays a lot in

6:49 the open. That's because it comes down

6:51 to it in a lot of these games as you

6:53 take a peek at what happened in

6:55 Scranton, Pennsylvania. Look, the

6:56 firefighters were down 4 [music] nothing

6:58 in the top of the third inning, but a

6:59 trick play missed scores the fifth run

7:01 of the inning and that would allow the

7:03 firefighters to come all the way back

7:05 and take a point [music] after a lengthy

7:06 rain delay in Pennsylvania. This is game

7:08 two by the way. Armando Beretta can

7:11 scoot around and the runner at second

7:13 can come home because Zach Smith threw

7:15 it to [music] nobody. Again, an error

7:17 plays a huge part. Firefighters go up

7:19 2-1. Darien McDow, he's about one

7:23 meter away from his second homer of 2026

7:26 [music] instead. That'll land and score

7:27 a runner from first and easily give the

7:29 Fire Fighters a 3-1 lead. And then 20

7:32 million views nearly on this here video.

8:12 reason why the firefighters have gone on

10:38 series with Mr. Mickey Mouse himself in

10:45 coconuts for the firefighters tonight.

10:51 head-to-head tiebreaker against the

11:02 must-win maybe for the Vibes for their

11:04 head coach, but certainly for the record

11:05 books tonight. The firefighters have to

11:07 get something done this weekend. Those

11:09 are the standings. We need to learn

11:11 about the rules of the game. And to hear

14:11 home plate. That is the Corpus Christie

14:13 Bay. Easy for Kyle Martin to hit one out

14:15 there. Very easy. And then the home of

14:17 the Hooks, the DA affiliate of the

14:19 Houston [music] Astros. They have played

14:21 here during the entire 21 years of this

14:24 ballpark. [music] But the bridge Zack

14:25 Stton has not been out behind left

14:27 field. No. The entire 21 years of this

14:29 ballpark. in our stadium bible that I've

14:31 created here for the firefighters. The

14:33 bridge is actually behind us in right

14:35 field. That was a temporary bridge while

14:37 they built this new Corpus Christi Bay

14:40 Bridge. So, uh, Joe Mikolik told us

14:42 today he's been old enough to see the

14:43 bridge behind both outfields at some

14:45 point in time.

14:46 >> Joe Mik's old enough to see a lot of

14:48 things. Uh, let's call that what it is

14:50 right there. That's a secret sticker

14:51 between me, you God, and everyone

14:53 actually come to think of it. Uh, so

14:55 what a burger field. Zack Stton had his

14:58 first ever experience with one of Burger

15:00 Field last night. We have had the

15:01 experience of Trey Jones being back on

15:03 the road with us. Earlier today, he

15:05 caught up with our good friend Michael

15:07 Schwarz.

15:11 >> There's the tailgate and then there's

15:13 the pre-show that Trey Jones decided to

15:15 break out a little bit of a concert for

15:16 the section behind home plate. Give it a

15:19 listen as he's riffing it up.

15:33 >> You may not know this, but Trey actually

15:34 plays a guitar. And no matter who he's

15:36 playing in the locker room, they crowd

15:38 around you. Isn't that right?

15:39 >> Oh, yeah, man. I love it. I mean, every

15:41 time I come out here, the crowd just

15:42 shows so much love for whatever we got

15:44 to do and whatever I get to do out here.

15:46 And I love playing the guitar for the

15:47 fans. So, it's amazing. BK on the

15:48 firefighters goes, "I am just so in awe

15:52 watching this guy play the guitar. You

15:54 actually said it's helping you through

15:55 the injury right now, keeping you

15:57 focused."

15:57 >> Oh, yeah. Absolutely. You know, that's

15:59 the one thing that's great about Banana

16:01 Ball is that you can do more in this

16:03 atmosphere than just play on the field.

16:05 And being able to play the guitar in

16:06 front of the crowd and entertain in

16:08 different ways really helped me get

16:09 through this whole injury process.

16:10 >> A little bit of a homecoming for you.

16:12 You went to uh Texas A&M University here

16:14 in Corpus Christi uh between 2019 2023.

16:18 You got a lot of people coming this

16:19 weekend.

16:19 >> Oh yeah, I have so many people coming

16:20 this weekend. Today I have about 15

16:23 members of the old church group that I

16:25 had coming today. I have some old

16:27 teammates coming on Saturday and my old

16:29 coach's wife and their and their and

16:31 their daughters coming tomorrow. So,

16:33 it's going to be a whole homecoming

16:34 thing. I can't wait to see everybody.

16:35 Now Trey, a lot of people want to know

16:37 when can we see your talents with the

16:39 guitar, but also your talents back on

16:42 this field.

16:43 >> A couple more weeks. A couple more weeks

16:44 and I'll be back out there running

16:45 around with the guys, playing the

16:46 guitar, putting them both together, and

16:48 just having a good time all around.

16:49 >> His parents bought him a guitar in

16:51 Walmart for like 40 bucks when you were

16:53 four years old, plastic guitar, and he

16:55 was just terrific ever since. He rifted

16:57 at the two largest stadiums, the two

16:59 largest games ever in Banana Ball

17:01 history. Real quick, how was that? I

17:03 mean, that was probably one of the most

17:05 surreal moments I've ever been a part

17:06 of. I mean, first of all, Texas A&M,

17:09 that's not too far away from home for

17:10 me. And I honestly, I've never been to

17:12 an&m game, so being able to experience

17:13 Kyle Field for the first time like that

17:15 and being able to play in front of that

17:16 crowd was insane. And then Knoxville

17:18 right behind it. I mean, that's just an

17:20 insane experience I'm never going to

17:22 forget. And I'm glad that me and uh Sexy

17:23 Sachs were able to really get it off and

17:26 entertain the crowd as best as we could.

17:28 >> I I watch his reels and I I just can't

17:30 stop watching. And this crowd can't stop
