4:49 We've got [music] some Banana Mall

4:51 history on our hands here in the finale

4:53 of a three-game set between the Savannah

4:56 Bananas and the Indianapolis Clouds.

4:59 Tonight marks the 300th Banana Ball game

5:02 in Savannah Bananas franchise history.

5:05 And there is no better venue to play

5:07 host to it than historic Grayson

5:09 Stadium. After falling out of first

5:11 [music] place last night, Bananas are

5:13 looking to avoid a sweep as they send

5:15 firstrounder Austin Drury to the mound

5:17 to try and quiet the high-flying offense

5:20 of the Indianapolis Clouds.

5:24 And we welcome you inside the broadcast

5:26 booth. I'm your statistical savant of

5:28 Banana Ball, Josh Tlespki. Tremendous

5:31 night for another game here in Grayson

5:34 Stadium. The Indianapolis Clowns the

5:36 victors last night by a 3-2 score. A big

5:39 game for Indianapolis and their first

5:41 ever series win against the Savannah

5:43 Bananas as well. All of a sudden, those

5:45 Clowns as red hot as ever and looking to

5:49 extend their dominance. Without any

5:52 further ado, let's get into the

5:54 highlights from last night's ball game.

5:56 The clowns and the bananas. Game [music]

5:58 two of this three-game set. The fans

6:00 brought the energy all night long. And

6:02 in the bottom of the first inning, it

6:04 was Kyle Jackson earning the ball for a

6:06 sprint against David Griffin to get the

6:08 [music] bananas on the board early. Dan

6:10 Ober Oburst coming across to score. The

6:13 [music] first point of the night for the

6:15 Bananas. But the Clowns would strike

6:18 back very quickly. Carell Prime, the

6:21 former Savannah Banana himself, with a

6:24 moonshot all the way to the awning in

6:26 left field for Indianapolis. [music]

6:28 That would cap off a threerun inning for

6:31 the Clowns. And that was home run number

6:34 three for prime time. Another [music]

6:36 big blast on his season. Now in the

6:38 bottom half of the inning, Kenchi Saga,

6:41 the Nepon [music] star, batting against

6:43 David Griffin. Yeah, that's a Jackie

6:45 Bradley Jr. [music] trick play and a

6:47 point for Indianapolis. It's now in the

6:49 fourth inning. Clowns already [music]

6:50 with the run on the board. Bryant

6:52 Danero. A two-run tater over the left

6:56 field wall capping another [music]

6:58 threerun frame for the Clowns. Up two to

7:01 one in the ball game. Next inning, Joe

7:03 Lidle batting against Noah Nisnik. And

7:06 that one peppered all the way to the

7:07 center field wall. Meadows playing that

7:10 one on a hop. Bobby Leay coming around

7:12 to score. Standing up and Indianapolis

7:15 trying to claim another point. That

7:18 would not happen. Dr. Meadows with a

7:20 clutch piece of hitting up the middle to

7:22 negate the point for Indianapolis. But

7:24 in the sixth inning, after the Clowns

7:26 were able to get a runner on thanks to

7:27 an error from Alex Ziggler, Kirkland

7:30 Banks would come through with an RBI

7:32 single into right field. [music] And a

7:34 couple batters later, Joe Gray Jr. home

7:39 run over the historic Grayson Stadium

7:41 sign. It's Cowboy Joe's seventh of 2026.

7:46 All alone in second place in the Banana

7:48 Ball Championship League. That one not a

7:51 cheapy. Now sixth inning, Peanuts the

7:53 elephant against Dakota Stilts All

7:55 Britain. And for all the fans of

7:57 Peanuts, he emerged victorious [music]

7:59 in that battle. Now in the seventh,

8:01 still a 3 to1 ball game. If you blinked,

8:04 you might have missed it because JT

8:06 Sakalup, the designated runner for the

8:08 Savannah Bananas, was able to swipe home

8:12 and steal a second point in the game for

8:14 the Nanners, making it just a one-point

8:17 game into the final inning of play.

8:19 Danny Hley would record a three up,

8:22 three down inning for the Nanners. And

8:23 in the bottom half, Reese selects the

8:26 trying to knot up this game would roll

8:28 over to Bobby Leay at shortstop and that

8:30 would cap up [music] cap off a 3-2

8:34 Indianapolis Clowns victory over the

8:36 Bananas [music] and a series win as

8:39 well. And something we have talked about

8:41 so much is how this Clowns team just

8:44 continues to hit. and Carell Prime, the

8:47 man who did a lot of the damage last

8:49 night on route to the showman of the

8:51 game award. Two for four, an RBI double

8:53 and a two-run home run as well. And you

8:56 can't forget about Brian Dansro. Had

8:58 another one of those homers for the

8:59 Clowns. A big night offensively for

9:02 Indianapolis. 10 runs on 12 hits. But

9:05 it's not just the offense after all that

9:09 has been so good for Indianapolis.

9:11 They've had a pretty flawless weekend

9:13 here in Savannah, Georgia. We mentioned

9:15 it in Kansas City, the Clowns four trick

9:18 plays missed in six errors defensively

9:21 and that led to the Nanner scoring six

9:24 runs in that series. But here in Grayson

9:27 Stadium, the Clowns have cleaned [music]

9:29 things up. Only one trick play missed on

9:31 Thursday and the same could be said on

9:34 Friday. And this team still without an

9:37 error in the series as well. Racing

9:39 Stadium's been good to the Clowns very

9:42 much so.

9:47 And you see the road numbers also

9:50 [music] fantastic for Indianapolis. This

9:52 is a team that has played very well as

9:54 the road [music] squad this season. In

9:57 road games, they rank first in batting

9:59 average, average runs [music] per game,

10:01 average hits as well, and 30 home runs

10:04 for the Clowns. And they already have

10:06 four in this series that have come

10:07 courtesy of Eli Payton, Carell Prime,

10:10 Joe Gray Jr., and Brian Dancero. And all

10:13 these numbers have translated to a 10

10:16 and9 record for Indianapolis when

10:18 [music] playing as the away team, second

10:20 best in the Banana Ball Championship

10:22 League. So, they're enjoying things here

10:25 in Grayson Stadium. And Michael's

10:27 enjoying his time out in the party

10:29 plaza.

10:31 >> Hey guys, look. We have all the craziest

10:33 fans, but I want to show you the best

10:35 fans in the world outside the historic

10:38 Grayson Studios.

10:40 [music]

10:49 >> [music]

10:57 >> magic.

11:01 So come [music] out

11:03 with love. We got that magic

11:07 special song. Now [music] shine on.

11:09 Shine on.

11:14 You got that magic.

11:19 [music]

11:22 >> Oh yeah, you got it. Oh yeah, you got

11:25 it.

11:27 So don't forget who you are.

11:33 If you [music] were dreaming, you could

11:36 be it. Just believe it.

11:40 Shadow. Shadow.

11:44 We're made from the sky.

11:47 Got that magic.

11:51 >> You got that magic.

11:54 Come on

11:56 now. Shine. [music] Sh.

12:06 Shine.

12:11 Shine. Shine.

12:26 >> What's up, Savannah?

12:28 >> Yo yo yo yo yo. How y'all feeling?

12:31 Well, we just got one question for you.

12:34 Do you need something? Are you ready to

12:36 see the original baseball circus?

12:40 >> Well, we got plenty of that coming your

12:42 way cuz we like to clown around all day.

12:44 So, get ready to clap those hands and

12:46 stomp those feet because at the end of

12:47 the day, we all need somebody to lift us

12:49 up. You, me, them, and everybody.

12:54 >> Oh, everybody

12:57 needs somebody.

12:59 Everybody,

13:01 >> everybody needs somebody to love. Oh

13:05 yeah. Someone to love.

13:08 >> A sweetheart to miss.

13:09 >> A sweetheart to miss.

13:10 >> A sugar to kiss.

13:12 >> A sugar to kiss. I need you. You. You. I

13:16 need you. You. You. I need you. You.

13:20 You. I need you.

13:23 Give it up one more time for the

13:26 original baseball circus, the

13:28 Indianapolis Cloud.

13:43 [screaming]

13:46 >> I know. I saw

13:48 >> Grayson Stadium. I need everybody here

13:51 to get on your feet.

13:56 That's right, everybody. Get up on your

13:59 feet cuz it's time to meet your Savannah

14:04 Banana.

14:25 [music]

14:34 >> [music]

14:35 >> Clap those hands. Clap those hands. Clap

14:39 those hands.

15:03 Clap those [music] hands. Clap those

15:06 hands. Clap those hands.

15:17 [music]

15:27 The Savannah Bananas introduced [music]

15:29 on the Diamond here tonight in Savannah.

15:32 A beautiful night for a banana ball game

15:35 and the Indianapolis [music] Clowns

15:36 hunting a sweep against this Bananas

15:39 team playing a lot of good ball

15:42 earlier today. The bananas all getting

15:45 warmed up and loose here in Grayson

15:47 Stadium. Kyle Jackson, Dr. Meadows,

15:49 Reese Selectiatus. And this team

15:52 possibly [music] in need of [singing] a

15:54 little more preparation as they find

15:56 themselves just one and three in their

15:59 last four games, all of which have been

16:01 played against this Clowns team.

16:04 And a big thing that has continued to

16:07 burn the Bananas across these four games

16:10 is the lack of offense that they have

16:12 been able to generate. As you get a look

16:14 at the numbers, the Bananas batting

16:16 below the Mendoza line as a team in this

16:19 [music] span, just a buck 85 batting

16:21 average. And the average runs a little

16:24 alarming as well. Just averaging a hair

16:26 over four in this span. And in banana

16:29 ball, when you are trying to win

16:30 innings, you need to score in multiple

16:33 different innings. The Bananas having a

16:34 pretty tough time doing that [music] and

16:36 they are not being aided by the long

16:38 ball either. Still looking for another

16:40 home run against this Clowns team.

16:46 [music]

16:47 So, the Bananas

16:48 looking for better results here tonight.

16:51 The fans still with smiles on their

16:54 faces regardless of the winning streaks

16:57 and the losing streaks on hand. I'll

16:59 tell you who's jazzed up [music] about

17:00 tonight's contest. It's Mr. Michael

17:03 Schwarz.

17:03 >> Oh, I am sweating already, Josh. Cuz

17:05 these fans are the greatest in the

17:07 world. Can we show the fans? [cheering]

17:09 Wait, these are just a few of the fans.

17:11 Wait, we got to see where are the fans?

17:13 Where are the fans?

17:15 There.

17:17 Can I hear your voices?

17:20 All right, let's just keep going. Let's

17:21 keep going. Let's just keep going. Let's

17:23 just keep going. These fans are excited

17:26 for that 300th Banana Ball game in

17:29 franchise history. But I want to

17:31 introduce you to a really special fan

17:33 here. I [music] just met you a little

17:34 bit ago. Tell us your first name.

17:36 >> It's Jessica.

17:37 >> Jessica, you've been coming to Banana

17:39 Ball Games for how long?

17:40 >> Seven years.

17:41 >> What keeps you Season passes. What keeps

17:44 you coming back?

17:45 >> Fan experience. They're all about us.

17:47 It's all a good time. There's never a

17:49 time that I just don't walk away and

17:51 say, "I can't wait to come back."

17:53 >> When you remember this is the 300th

17:56 Banana Ball game in Bananas franchise

17:57 history. you look back at from then

18:00 until now, what have you seen as our

18:02 incredible sport has grown?

18:04 >> It's just amazing how they've turned it

18:06 around. I mean, it's incredible. I can't

18:08 imagine taking what it was before and I

18:11 had been to those games and then getting

18:13 this. This is just I I can't wait to

18:15 come back every time. Jessica, let's

18:18 have a great night with these amazing

18:20 fans. The stands are so packed and we

18:23 are ready for another soldout night.

18:24 Before that, let's hear from the creator

18:27 of Banana Ball, Jesse Cole, for

18:29 >> the rules of Banana Ball. [screaming]

18:34 >> Banana Ball is the fastest and most

18:36 entertaining show in sports, and the 11

18:39 rules guarantee the most fans first

18:41 experience every second.

18:43 >> Unbelievable.

18:44 >> Welcome to the Banana Bowl Championship

18:46 League.

18:47 >> Rule number one, win the inning, win the

18:49 point. The team that scores the most

18:51 runs in an inning wins the point. It's a

18:54 walkoff winner to the deepest [cheering]

18:56 pole field. Oh my goodness.

18:58 >> With the equalizer point, trick plays

19:01 provide the away team an opportunity to

19:03 earn a point going into the final

19:04 inning. And in the final inning, every

19:07 run counts as a point. Rule number two,

19:10 banana ball has a 2hour time limit,

19:12 guaranteeing that every game is

19:15 fast-paced and action-packed. Rule

19:17 number three, no stepping out of the

19:19 batter's box. If you do, it will result

19:22 in a strike. back stepped out of the box

19:24 and because he stepped out of the box,

19:25 that's it.

19:26 >> Rule number four, no bunting. Cuz

19:29 bunting sucks. If you bunt, you'll be

19:31 thrown out of the game. Rule number

19:33 five, batters can steal first base.

19:35 >> Ball three, can you take it off for

19:37 first throw from Leroy in time.

19:40 >> Rule number six, there's no walks. Walks

19:44 are ball force sprints. The batter can

19:46 advance as far as they want until every

19:48 position player touches the ball. No

19:50 defenders have touched the banana ball.

19:52 It is a four base spread to open up the

19:56 ball game.

19:56 >> Rule number seven,

19:58 >> no mound visits.

20:00 >> Nope. Rule number eight, foul balls

20:03 caught by a fan count as an out.

20:05 >> Oh, they're good. They did. They can't.

20:10 We're going to show

20:11 >> rule number nine, the showdowns. In

20:14 showdowns, the best of the best face

20:16 [music] off in the biggest moment. One

20:18 hitter verse one pitcher with one

20:20 fielder behind him and the hitter has to

20:23 score deep to right center. See you

20:26 later. Rule number 10, the banana ball

20:29 challenge role gives the coaches and you

20:32 the fans a chance to impact a call on

20:34 the field. Rule number 11, the golden

20:38 batter. Once a game, each team can give

20:40 any player in a bat regardless of the

20:42 lineup. This offers the biggest matchups

20:45 on the biggest stage. Big on big game.

20:49 Let's go. Let's go. Let's go.

20:52 >> Get out of here ball. That thing had a

20:55 family.

20:57 And those are the rules of banana ball.

21:08 >> Thank you so much, Jesse.

21:10 I know he loves to see the banana baby

21:13 tradition continue here in Grayson

21:15 Stadium. Let's stay down on the field

21:17 with some more pregame [music] fun.

21:42 Ladies and gentlemen, I am bringing with

21:44 me some bananas power to the plate. My

21:49 dear friend Porter is going to be

21:51 attempting to hit a home run against

21:54 these clowns. So, can I hear some noise

21:56 for my dear friend Porter? [cheering]

22:03 Looks like Porter is going to be facing

22:05 off against Peanuts.

22:08 >> Quite the tough opposition. Pitch number

22:10 one is on its way. And that is a big

22:13 swing and a miss. Strike one. Hang in

22:17 there, Porter. He awaits pitch number

22:20 two from Peanuts.

22:23 Oh, that's a good take.

22:27 And a truly unbelievable call from

22:29 Bryson behind the plate. Can we get a

22:31 boo for Bryson? Boo.

22:34 Looks like splits have enough. Oh my

22:36 goodness. He drop kicks peanuts. That

22:39 can't be legal. Places the ball on the

22:41 tea. And now we have a more fair fight

22:43 for my friend Porter.

22:48 Foul ball. Foul ball. Just ticked it. I

22:51 saw it. It hit the back.

22:54 Porter's ready.

22:56 Swinging a drive. There it goes.

23:00 That ball is ripped into deep left

23:02 field. Porter's rounding first base.

23:07 Looks like the Clouds are having some

23:08 trouble over there. Ball's being kicked

23:11 around. And Porter's on his way to

23:13 second. [cheering]

23:17 Ladies and gentlemen, Porter is

23:19 motoring, bumbling, stumbling, and

23:22 tumbling his way around third base. And

23:24 here he comes to home plate.

23:27 And this is starting to shape up like a

23:29 pretty improbable finish for our Brent

23:32 Porter. Weaving and boopping trying to

23:35 score. [cheering]

23:36 Consenders giving Joe Lidle a high five.

23:38 And there it is. Porter coming across

23:41 the score.

23:45 Oh man, fun stuff from that young fella

23:49 putting a good swing on the banana ball

23:52 against Peanuts the elephant as well.

23:55 And now we get ourselves a look at Ty

23:58 Jackson hyping up the fans as the rope

24:02 was dropped here in Grayson Stadium.

24:07 Always exciting see the folks pour into

24:10 this ballpark and a guy who had a lot of

24:13 success here last night. Clowns

24:14 outfielder Brian Dansro who caught up

24:17 with Michael Schwarz.

24:20 >> Hey with Brian Dansro from your

24:22 Indianapolis Clowns. Why are we swirling

24:24 a hula hoop on our arm? We'll tell you

24:26 about that in a minute. But first, one

24:28 for four last night. Your second home

24:29 run of the season.

24:31 >> And how about Brian Dance?

24:33 >> So, I've got to face N a couple times.

24:35 Um, made me look goofy on a good bit of

24:37 change up. So, I finally just looked for

24:39 it.

24:39 >> Got a good swing off and finally got to

24:41 do my dinosaur celebration. I

24:43 >> was going to ask about that.

24:44 >> So, I used to play for a team called the

24:46 Raptors

24:47 >> and I used to do it all the time and

24:48 just goof off with it. When I was hurt,

24:50 I did it on the sideline a bunch and

24:52 everybody just seemed to love it. So,

24:53 I've kind of run with it and it's fun.

24:56 When I was in college, uh, they couldn't

24:57 pronounce my last name, so they just

24:59 started calling me dinosaur. So, it just

25:02 kind of came back to it.

25:03 >> B5 dinosaur, whatever you want to do.

25:05 Okay. Why hula hoops? Well, because when

25:08 you were little, you actually won a hula

25:10 hoop contest.

25:11 >> Yeah. So, I was 10 years old. Uh, it was

25:14 in the middle of a mall and they wanted

25:16 to see who could do a Hulu competition

25:18 for the longest and the winner got to

25:20 win like a gift card and as soon as it

25:22 started I actually dropped my Hulu.

25:24 >> Oh,

25:25 >> but no one caught me.

25:26 >> Wait, is this the Do we have this on

25:27 record? Did you Did you actually win it?

25:29 >> I won it.

25:30 >> But no one caught you.

25:31 >> No, it was like right when I first

25:32 started it went down and then I was

25:33 like, is this exclusive? Is this the

25:36 first time we're hearing about this? If

25:37 you ran that mall secret for a long

25:39 time.

25:39 >> What mall was it?

25:40 >> It was Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville.

25:42 >> Okay. If you worked at that mall and you

25:44 ran that hula hoop contest, contact us

25:46 here at Banana Ball because uh one, we

25:48 want to see a video from that. Uh but

25:50 that's awesome. Brian, have a game

25:51 tonight. Have a day. The crowds looking

25:54 to sweep the bananas.

25:55 >> We are just almost underway here at the

25:58 historic Grayson Stadium.

26:03 >> Thank you so much, Michael. Fun stuff

26:05 from Brian Dancer. Couldn't even think

26:08 [music] about sniffing one of those hula

26:10 hoop contests as a kid. As you get a

26:12 look at our pitching matchup here

26:13 tonight, it's a rematch of what we saw

26:16 [music] last Sunday afternoon in Kaufman

26:19 Stadium. Pair of rookies squaring up

26:22 against [music] each other for the

26:23 Indianapolis Clowns. Right-hander Brett

26:25 Matock gets the ball and the Bananas

26:27 counter with their first [music] round

26:28 draft pick, Austin Drury. Both of these

26:31 guys continuing to get better and better

26:33 as the season [music] has progressed.

26:35 Drury currently third in banana ball

26:37 when it comes to strikeouts. And

26:39 meanwhile, Brett Maddock [music] 22 hits

26:41 allowed. Only two of them have come to

26:43 the Savannah Bananas.

26:48 So, a fun pitching matchup on hand and

26:51 talked a lot about traditions here

26:53 tonight. This is the 300th Bananas

26:55 Banana Ball game after all.

26:58 You see the mananas and the banana band

27:01 all joining in in the parade as they go

27:04 through the concourse here in our

27:06 ballpark in the hostess city.

27:11 Split throwing out beans to the people.

27:14 And I'll tell you what, it's been a

27:16 pretty busy weekend in Banana Ball so

27:18 far. Get a look at the scores from

27:22 around the league so far. Bananas and

27:25 Tailgator have already played two games

27:27 a piece this weekend. And the Tailgator

27:30 and Clowns both hunting sweeps here

27:33 tonight.

27:36 So, it'll be interesting to see how

27:38 those series conclude.

27:40 And meanwhile, Party Animals and the

27:43 Loco Beach Coconuts will kick off pretty

27:47 soon, 8:00 Eastern on the Party Animals

27:49 YouTube page and the CW. They will be

27:52 playing an American Family Field in

27:54 Milwaukee, Wisconsin, home of the

27:57 Milwaukee Brewers. And it's a little

27:59 piece of history as well for the boys in

28:01 black and pink. The Party Animals

28:04 selling out of Major League Stadium.

28:06 They will not be taking on the Savannah

28:08 Bananas. So, a big accomplishment for

28:10 the Animals. Well, let's focus back in

28:13 here in Grayson Stadium and get you back

28:16 on down to the field.

28:17 >> America's sweetest hearts, your banana.

28:20 bananas.

28:23 [cheering]

28:24 He is your fat trickster and balancing

28:28 extraordinaire. Give it up for Alex

28:30 Ziggy Zager,

28:34 [cheering] the king of potassium

28:36 himself, the world's strongest banana.

28:39 Give it up for Split.

28:43 Coming in at 10 ft 9 in tall, the one,

28:47 the only Dakota Stilts Albertton

28:52 and the best to ever do it, your dancing

28:56 first and third base coach, Macy H.

29:03 One more time for the cast of your

29:04 Savannah Bananas.

29:07 [cheering]

29:10 All right, Banana Nation, Dr. Meadow's

29:12 here. And it looks like the cast is

29:14 ready. All the players are ready. So,

29:16 it's now time for you, the fans, to get

29:19 ready. So, I need everyone here to get

29:20 on your feet.

29:22 I need all 5,000 of you to get on your

29:25 feet and help me welcome out

29:27 six-year-old Anna.

29:33 [applause]

29:35 What's up, girl? All right. Your job is

29:38 very important. All of us are ready for

29:40 the game, but these fans aren't warmed

29:42 up for it. So, whatever you do, they

29:44 have to do. You got any moves for us?

29:46 >> Yes.

29:47 >> Cricket Shark. What you got, girl?

29:51 Oh, get those hands together, y'all.

29:59 Okay. Bringing the energy tonight.

30:04 Staying alive. How do you know this

30:06 dance?

30:09 What else are you? Oh, we're raising the

30:10 roof. We're going from the toes to the

30:13 roof.

30:14 The toes. We're stretching.

30:18 Sprinkler. Okay, go ahead with it.

30:24 Jumping jacks. Okay, we all need to do

30:28 some jumping jacks.

30:34 Get those hands together. I don't really

30:35 look around. You just got everybody

30:37 warmed up for this game tonight. Give it

30:39 up one more time for Annalie.

30:41 [screaming]

30:43 [cheering]

30:52 The fans officially warmed up with help

30:56 from that young lady and Mr. Dr.

30:57 Meadows. And now there's only one more

31:00 thing to do here tonight. It's time to

31:03 get the fans hyped up here in Grayson

31:06 Stadium. And for that, let's hear from

31:08 Jerry.

31:09 >> Ladies and gentlemen,

31:12 dreamers, believers, and storytellers

31:15 from around the world. For over 50

31:19 years, the clouds bar stormed this

31:21 country. City to city, town to town, bus

31:26 ride to bus ride.

31:28 >> They played through rain. They play

31:30 through hate. They play through empty

31:34 houses and packed rooms. This is for

31:38 every clown who wore the jersey. This is

31:43 for every pioneer and showman. This is

31:47 for every player who stepped foot on the

31:51 field.

31:53 They built this.

31:55 This is more than just a comeback.

31:59 This is more than just a reunion.

32:03 This is history in the making. And

32:07 tonight, Savannah,

32:11 [cheering]

32:14 I said, Savannah,

32:22 it is time for you tonight and come

32:24 together because after 37 years in the

32:28 darkness, the original baseball circus

32:31 is back and the show starts now.

32:34 [screaming]

32:37 Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to meet

32:39 the starting lineup for your Savannah

32:42 Bananas.

32:44 Leading off, the center fielder number

32:47 five, Dr. The Doc Mto.

32:57 PH number 19, Dan Our

33:12 At first base number nine, Max Young

33:16 Gulper

33:30 at third base number four, Kyle KJ. J.

33:34 Jackson,

33:42 left fielder number 15. We call him

33:44 Rack. Robert Anthony Cruz,

34:00 the right fielder number two, Reese

34:03 Superman, Alexis.

34:18 Shortstop number six. He is our glove

34:21 magician, Ryan Cox.

34:35 The extra hitter number seven, tie two

34:38 fly Jackson

34:51 at second base. Number 80 is our

34:54 greatest showman, Jackson [music]

34:57 Olen.

35:07 And behind the plate, number 17, East

35:11 Parish.

35:21 On the mound for your Savannah Bananas

35:23 tonight, number 11, Austin Drew Reed.

35:30 >> [music]

35:37 >> Savannah Bananas are led by Tyler Gillum

35:40 assisted by Adam Broy, Ryan Kellogg,

35:43 Bryce Stove and Reggie the legend for

35:48 10.

35:51 Starting lineups for your 16-1 Savannah

35:54 Bananas just announced.

35:56 And now

35:58 one more thing before we get first pitch

36:01 and our start of the clock. Please stay

36:04 down on the field. It's time for our

36:06 national anthem.

36:07 >> Please rise if you're able and remove

36:09 your caps. Here to honor America with

36:12 the singing of tonight's national

36:14 anthem. Please welcome to the field Alan

36:16 McBride.

36:19 [cheering]

36:19 >> [applause]

36:27 >> Oh, say can you see

36:32 by the dawn early

36:36 light,

36:38 what so proudly we held

36:43 at the twilight

36:46 last gleaming,

36:48 whose broad stripes and bright stars

36:54 through the perilous

36:57 fight.

36:59 All [singing] the ramp parts we watch

37:04 were so gallently

37:08 streaming.

37:10 And the rockets

37:12 red glare.

37:15 The bombs bursting

37:18 in air

37:21 gave proof through the night

37:26 that our flag was still there.

37:31 Oh, say does that star spangled

37:37 ber [singing]

37:39 and wave.

37:43 Oh, the land

37:46 of the free

37:52 and the home

37:55 of the

37:58 brave.

38:00 >> [cheering]

38:02 >> Ladies and gentlemen, Alan McBride.

38:07 [cheering]

38:07 [applause]

38:09 A beautiful rendition of our national

38:11 anthem

38:13 here tonight as the bananas and clowns

38:17 now start kick lining. The Thunder

38:19 Struck by AC/DC.

38:22 We've got the finale of a three-game

38:24 set. The 12 and 16 Indianapolis Clowns

38:29 squaring off against the 16 and 11

38:32 Savannah Bananas.

38:34 And these Clowns in a position to

38:36 potentially record a sweep here in

38:40 tonight's ball game.

38:44 And now let's get a look at the Bananas

38:46 and how they will line up defensively

38:48 here tonight. [music]

38:50 From left to right, Robert Anthony Cruz,

38:52 Dr. Meadows and Ree Seleiatis, the usual

38:54 suspects in the outfield. Kyle [music]

38:56 Jackson back at the hot corner tonight

38:58 with 40 trick plays this year. Cox and

39:01 Olsen, the duo up the middle and Max

39:02 Young Goldberg starting at first base.

39:04 [music] Drury and Parish are the

39:06 battery, but Bryce Grisappi, the

39:08 designated fielder, expected to catch

39:10 all nine innings defensively tonight.

39:14 [music]

39:15 And of course, he will be paired with a

39:17 supremely talented pitcher in Austin

39:20 Drury.

39:22 hoping to induce a handful of trick

39:24 plays tonight.

39:26 And AD has [music] posted sensational

39:29 numbers against the Indianapolis Clowns

39:31 in his young career. Three starts

39:33 against [music] the Clowns and a 3 and 0

39:35 record for AD. 13 innings pitched. He's

39:38 averaged three outs in 4 minutes and 7

39:40 seconds in that span.

39:43 And 11 strikeouts, just two ball four

39:46 sprints. So AD looking to extend his

39:49 dominance as you now get a look at the

39:51 southpaw on the mound making start

39:53 number 12 this season [cheering] 3.51

39:57 earned run average for Drury has him

40:00 ranked eighth in banana ball [cheering]

40:03 42 strikeouts that ranks third in our

40:05 sport and Drury a 218 erra plus which

40:10 indicates he has been more than two

40:12 times better tore average arm here in

40:16 2026. six.

40:20 But Drury doesn't have it easy tonight.

40:22 This Indianapolis Clowns offense has

40:24 been dangerous over the past couple

40:27 weeks. And they start off with Joe Gray

40:29 Jr. leading off yet again. Jackie

40:31 Bradley Jr. to follow. Bobby Leay in the

40:33 three spot. Fourth through six is Lidle,

40:36 Francis, and Carell Prime. And then

40:39 Burgess, Holizer, Banks, and Vasquez

40:42 round out the bottom of this clown's

40:44 order. Of

40:48 course, Carell [music] Prime, the man

40:49 who was the showman last night, looking

40:51 to do more damage against his former

40:53 squad. [music]

40:55 And a night off for Eli Payton.

41:00 [music]

41:01 Oh man, beautiful night here in Grayson

41:04 Stadium. How about we start the clock,

41:06 Ty Jackson?

41:07 >> It is time. On the count of three, we're

41:11 going to say start the clock.

41:13 >> [screaming]

41:13 >> 1 2 3

41:21 >> and we are underway at the clock started

41:23 at 7:07 local time

41:26 and Ty Jackson man who may be starting

41:30 the clock a lot more in life. Something

41:32 he wanted to do right before the bananas

41:35 got underway in Covenant Health Park in

41:37 Knoxville, Tennessee.

41:39 And now getting that task again as

41:41 Austin Jury pours in a first pitch

41:43 strike to Joe Gray Jr.

41:46 >> who rips the second pitch into center

41:48 field [cheering] for a leadoff knock.

41:51 Joe Gray Jr.

41:53 >> now 10 for9 batting in the first inning

41:57 of play this season. I mean you want to

42:00 talk about a guy in the leadoff spot who

42:02 is setting the table. Nobody is doing it

42:05 quite like Cowboy Joe as Drury tries the

42:08 pickoff move on Joe Gray Jr. and that

42:11 one skips away from Max Young Goldberg

42:14 and Gray will move all the way up to

42:17 third base.

42:21 Olsson and Alexiatis, the two guys

42:23 having to go and chase after that banana

42:26 ball.

42:27 [music] And that one just kind of

42:29 hanging up towards the Bananas bullpen

42:31 allowed Joe Gray to score as Jackie

42:34 Bradley Jr. keeps this one fair down the

42:38 third base line. Just three pitches into

42:41 the night for Austin Drury. And the

42:43 Indianapolis Clowns, Banana Ball's best

42:45 team batting in the first inning of play

42:47 this season, has a run on the board.

42:52 Now 28 runs batted in for Jackie Bradley

42:56 Jr.

42:58 >> in the top five in banana ball right now

43:02 >> in his first riby here in the series.

43:09 Bobby Leay clown shorts stop once again

43:12 in the three hole and he swings at the

43:15 1-1 offering from Drury and shoots it

43:18 into left field. Now, the Clowns have

43:21 opened up tonight's ball game with three

43:24 straight knocks against AD.

43:30 And time to see if they can make it

43:32 four. Joe Lidle back behind the dish for

43:35 the Indianapolis Clowns

43:38 up to bat and taking called first

43:39 strike.

43:44 AD, a man who comes to banana ball after

43:48 spending some time in the Los Angeles

43:49 Dodgers organization. Made it as high as

43:52 double A.

43:56 And AD rears back and fires a 1-1

44:00 strike.

44:02 Vidle hacking through it.

44:06 One-two pitch cut on and missed.

44:09 Widle coming up empty. And Austin Drury

44:13 gets his first strike out of the night.

44:18 And that one sorely needed with the

44:20 Clowns already. A run on the board and

44:23 two guys on the base paths.

44:30 >> Dale Francis Jr.

44:33 >> now batting for the Indianapolis Clowns.

44:38 Francis a 352 average this season, four

44:42 home runs to his name.

44:48 And that one fouled. Seth Markham trying

44:52 his best to make a play.

44:55 A spinning

44:56 tornado like snag attempt comes up

45:00 empty. Francis now in a quick 02 hole.

45:03 Korea check on JBJ

45:06 and then missing outside to Francis.

45:11 Had a nice series so far. Couple doubles

45:15 for the righty who chops this one over

45:17 to third base. Jackson with a bare hand

45:20 play and a feed to Jackson Olsen

45:23 covering that second base bag.

45:26 So Leeday taking off the bases

45:29 and now Bradley Jr. and Francis Jr. at

45:34 first and third for Indianapolis

45:43 [music]

45:46 called first strike on Carell Prime last

45:49 night's showman of the game. A two for

45:52 four night for prime time against his

45:55 former squad. And this guy's had

45:56 sensational numbers against the Bananas

45:58 as Gresafi

46:01 gets a check on Jackie Bradley Jr. over

46:03 at third base

46:11 and that one a big swing and a miss.

46:15 prime time. Almost every game he has

46:17 played against the Savannah Bananas this

46:19 season has recorded a multiple hits

46:22 against his former team. And he's trying

46:24 to do that again early as this one gets

46:27 away from Prime and Gappi throws down to

46:30 Young Goldberg.

46:33 And Austin Drury with two strikeouts in

46:36 the first inning is able to limit the

46:37 Clowns to just one run offensively to

46:41 open up our ball game tonight.

46:45 for you.

46:46 >> Bananas will look to respond here in the

46:48 bottom half. And now we lay our peepers

46:53 on the Indianapolis Clouds defensively

46:55 tonight. Dale Francis Jr.'s the man in

46:58 left. Joe Gray Jr. in center and

47:00 Nicoleser man's right field. From third

47:02 to first, it's Kirkland Banks, Bobby

47:04 Leay, Jaylen Vasquez, and Carell Prime.

47:07 And Joe Lidle is back behind the dish

47:09 for the first time [music] since

47:10 returning from injury. He'll be working

47:13 with Brett Maddock as you see Brian

47:15 Dancero, our designated [music] fielder

47:17 for Indianapolis and he is expected to

47:20 spend all nine innings in left field in

47:23 the place of Dale Francis Jr.

47:28 >> So for Brett Maddox, this is start

47:30 number four for the Banana Ball rookie.

47:33 >> Started against this Banana squad last

47:35 Sunday in Kaufman Stadium. Pretty

47:38 special afternoon for the kid who

47:40 pitched at Kansas Wesleyan. Madak in his

47:43 start, two and two/3 innings pitched,

47:45 two hits allowed in two unearned runs,

47:47 averaging three outs and 4 minutes and

47:50 15 seconds. Is now the Bananas starting

47:52 lineup is shown. Meadows over Jung

47:55 Goldberg, the first three who start us

47:57 off in this contest. And it's Eastston

48:00 Parish buried in that 10 spot [music]

48:02 getting his second start of the season

48:04 for the Savannah Bananas. Number one,

48:08 the top.

48:11 >> Are you guys a little friend?

48:14 >> All right. Don't get mad at each other.

48:17 >> Now Maddock, a first pitch strike on Dr.

48:21 Meadows.

48:25 >> It's been very quiet lately against this

48:27 Indianapolis Clowns team.

48:31 >> Video Kid. Only one hit across his last

48:34 four games.

48:37 But in an early 2-1 count as Madak

48:40 misses again. Count now three and one.

48:45 >> Brett rocking a Bretty Crocker

48:48 apron on the mound.

48:53 There's an old saying, real men wear

48:55 aprons. And I subscribe to that theory

48:57 as well.

49:00 Maddox now with his first payoff of the

49:02 night. And Meadows skies this one out of

49:06 play.

49:10 >> Oh, you guys already picked yours.

49:12 >> Dr. In World Tour number four for the

49:14 Savannah Bananas

49:18 and hitting this one into left field.

49:20 Joe Gray Jr. had the leadoff single for

49:22 the Clowns to open up this ball game.

49:24 And now Meadows collects the single to

49:28 start the night off for the Savannah

49:29 Bananas.

49:32 gets a little handshake from his former

49:34 teammate Carell Prime.

49:42 And so Dan Oburst

49:44 now digs into the right-handed batters

49:46 box. Oburst making some banana ball

49:49 history.

49:51 We saw on Thursday night in the ninth

49:53 inning as the golden batter over swiped

49:55 first base. Then in his first two plate

49:58 appearances

49:59 yesterday stole first against David

50:02 Griffin. So it was three straight plate

50:05 appearance for Oburst where he swiped

50:07 first which is the only time that has

50:09 ever happened in banana ball as Ober

50:12 lines this over the glove of Jaylen

50:14 Vasquez and into right center field.

50:18 Bananers had just two hits against Brett

50:22 Maddock entering play tonight. And the

50:25 first two batters, Meadows and Oburst,

50:27 each have collected a single against

50:29 Brett.

50:34 So, can they keep the line moving? Max

50:36 Young Goldberg has been elevated up to

50:40 the three hole.

50:42 Spent a lot of time in that spot in the

50:45 order early this season.

50:48 for the Bananas opted to demote him as

50:51 he found himself in a little bit of a

50:52 slump.

50:55 And when they moved MJG lower in that

50:59 lineup, what they saw was his ability to

51:02 get on base jumped up tremendously.

51:05 He's earned a lot of all four sprints

51:07 for the Savannah Bananas this season,

51:09 leading the team in that category.

51:16 And the whiff from Young Goldberg. Count

51:19 now two and two.

51:25 Madx misses up.

51:28 And already another full count

51:31 for the Clowns rookie right-hander,

51:34 Young Goldberg. This one is laced and

51:37 into [cheering] the gap in right center

51:39 field. Meadows getting the wave around

51:41 and so is Dan Overst. He is on Dr.'s

51:44 heels and the Clowns will not even try

51:47 to throw that banana ball home.

51:51 Clowns unable to record an out in the

51:54 bottom half of the first inning. And the

51:56 Nanners, we talked about it. They needed

51:59 some offense tonight. They get it

52:01 courtesy of MJG. Max Young Goldberg, the

52:05 walk-off hero. Nanners up one- nothing.

52:08 And Michael Schwarz is with Nanners head

52:10 coach Tyler Gillum. Hey, what's up,

52:13 Josh? Yeah, Coach Gillum, 300th Banana

52:16 Ball game in Bananas franchise history.

52:20 When I say that sentence, what do you

52:22 think of?

52:22 >> Yeah. Wow. This is unbelievable, right?

52:24 I mean, it's all about creating never

52:26 forget moments for every fan that went

52:27 walks through the gates. You know, back

52:29 in 2018, we created the original Banana

52:32 Ball rules. 2020, we started testing and

52:35 testing. 2021, we took the show on the

52:37 road. Everybody was like, "What are you

52:39 doing? Like, is this thing going to

52:40 work? How do you know this thing's going

52:42 to work? What we kept hearing was fans

52:45 saying, "This is the greatest show in

52:47 sports. This is the most fun I've ever

52:48 had at a sporting event." And you know,

52:51 we just want to thank the fans for all

52:52 the support over these years. And uh

52:54 we're just getting started.

52:55 >> Real quick, that you know, that's been

52:57 the best thing to hear is we're just

52:58 getting started. Real quick, two games

53:00 the Clowns have taken in this one, the

53:02 300th historic historic one. How did the

53:04 bananas bounce back here?

53:06 >> Yeah. Yeah. No doubt. We just won the

53:08 first inning right there. And it's all

53:10 about responding. You know, that's what

53:11 life's about. The most important thing

53:13 you can do in life is respond. We've got

53:15 an unbelievable group right here. These

53:17 guys are awesome. And just going through

53:20 a little funk right now. We're literally

53:22 a quality AB and a defense of a play

53:25 away from winning those games the last

53:27 two nights. So, no big deal. Let's get

53:29 back in the fight right here. Let's see

53:31 if we can win today. That's what we can

53:32 control.

53:32 >> Well, coach, it's such an honor. Thank

53:34 you for welcoming me to the greatest

53:36 show in sports. I'm so privileged and so

53:38 fantastic just to stand next to you. All

53:41 the best, Josh. Back to you.

53:44 >> Thank you so much, Michael. Great words

53:47 from Coach Tyler Dillum, the man at the

53:50 helm for the 300th [cheering]

53:52 Bananas

53:53 Banana Ball game in franchise history.

53:57 Pretty cool moment.

54:01 And that dates back all the way to June

54:04 26, 2020.

54:06 when those Savannah bananas called the

54:09 yellow bananas in that game squared off

54:11 against the green bananas.

54:16 >> Now here top twoers

54:20 up a point and Austin Drury goes back to

54:22 work against Chris Burgess who got the

54:25 night off

54:27 last night.

54:32 Burgess has swung the stick very well

54:34 against this banana squad his last three

54:37 games against them. Five for seven at

54:39 the dish

54:46 >> and two minor leaguers battling.

54:48 Drury the Dodger system. Burgess found

54:52 his way into the Orioles org.

54:58 These two two chopped foul.

55:08 >> Burgess a guy who brought into banana

55:10 ball primarily because he plays great

55:13 defense and has a cannon behind the

55:15 plate.

55:16 But I'll tell you what, his bat has been

55:19 very loud this season for Indianapolis

55:24 as he swings through [music] that pitch

55:26 from AD. And already three strikeouts

55:30 for Austin Drury in this ball game, up

55:33 to 45 on the season and now tied

55:38 for the strikeout

55:40 lead as the strikeout leader in the

55:43 Banana Ball Championship League.

55:52 But of course, Austin Drury

55:55 not out of it. This clown's lineup is

55:58 quite deep

56:01 and you certainly say that a guy like

56:04 Nicoles was batting in the eight hole as

56:06 Kyle Jackson goes down to a knee

56:10 and snags that hot shot off the bat of

56:13 Nico.

56:18 >> Great reaction from Kyle Jackson.

56:21 Probably a sigh of relief to boot and

56:23 you see the appreciation

56:25 from AD on the pitcher mound.

56:32 Now Kirkland Banks

56:36 at the dish

56:38 gets a start offensively for the second

56:40 straight night for the Indianapolis

56:43 Clowns.

56:48 had a base knock, a run batted in in the

56:50 sixth inning against Allen Sat.

56:56 >> Now takes the 1-1 pitch. We're called

56:59 strike. Count one and two. [music]

57:02 High chop AD Fields takes a little time

57:06 and fires in time to Alex Ziggler over

57:09 at first base.

57:15 Great defense from Austin Drury to end

57:17 the second inning. The Clowns go three

57:19 of three down as the Nanners hunt

57:21 another point. And we go down to the

57:23 field. It's time for big balls.

57:26 >> We have Chris, Dalton, Jacob, and

57:29 Declan. And this is the irresistible

57:31 forces versus the immovable objects. A

57:33 fatal four-way. We call big balls. At

57:37 the count of three, gentlemen, charge

57:39 into each other. 3 2 1 go.

57:45 Oh no, we got one down. All right, break

57:47 it up. Break it up. All right, 3 2 1 go.

57:54 Oh, [screaming]

57:55 and he lands on his feet. Our winner

57:58 here, give it up for Dalton. [screaming]

58:16 Oh my gosh.

58:20 That's what we call a big boom. Shout

58:23 out Big Justice and AJ. Yeah. Hope you

58:27 guys haven't forgot about those cats.

58:30 [singing]

58:31 joined us in Miami the end of the 2024

58:34 tour. And a guy who was there to be a

58:36 part of all that joins me in the

58:38 broadcast booth. Cowboy Kyle Luig, I

58:41 cannot believe that you are standing to

58:43 my left. Friend,

58:47 >> I was thinking about it last night and I

58:48 was trying to think of the appropriate

58:50 words that I should say in this moment

58:53 and [laughter] I came to the conclusion

58:54 that I don't think that they've been

58:55 invented in the English dictionary.

58:58 >> Wow. of how excited I am to be back up

59:00 here with you.

59:01 >> I certainly miss Bo as this one's off

59:05 foul and not caught down the third

59:08 baseline. Um

59:09 >> boy,

59:10 >> I mean I hope that everybody who's um

59:12 been fans with us for a while, I hope

59:14 that they feel [music]

59:15 the same sentiments as me and I am just

59:17 smiling ear to ear, man.

59:18 >> Yep. And me and Kyle have already made

59:20 an agreement. We're going to try and

59:21 keep this beef free for the most part

59:23 tonight. We will be 100% cordial and

59:26 friendly as long as the bananas keep

59:28 winning innings. I will be as nice to

59:30 Josh as I can be.

59:32 >> And the Clowns no runs in the top of the

59:34 second.

59:36 Put the Bananas in a prime position to

59:38 potentially earn another point as Kyle

59:40 Jackson has found himself in a full

59:44 count.

59:45 Brett Maddock already his third full

59:48 count pitch of the evening and he will

59:51 miss to Kyle Jackson off and running and

59:55 thinking about two bases. He'll slam on

59:57 the brakes and be content with one.

1:00:05 [music]

1:00:06 That'll bring coach rack Robert Anthony

1:00:09 Cruz to the plate with no outs and a

1:00:11 runner on first. Josh, how are you

1:00:12 holding up last night and this evening

1:00:15 yet again without your counterpart Pico

1:00:17 Scalla?

1:00:18 >> You know, I'm I'm still trying to get in

1:00:20 touch with uh all the medical folks

1:00:23 trying to figure out if my guy is okay.

1:00:26 Really took a pretty nasty spill off the

1:00:28 roof.

1:00:28 >> That's right. That's right. I forgot

1:00:29 about that. I was actually walking I

1:00:31 actually arrived to the stadium and was

1:00:33 walking across the field to go to the

1:00:34 locker room um when said incident took

1:00:37 place. Um, and I was hoping that you

1:00:40 could give me some good news when I got

1:00:41 back up here, man. I'm not going to lie.

1:00:44 >> Oh,

1:00:47 good swing from Robert Anthony Cruz.

1:00:49 That one a home run to the parking lot

1:00:51 over there by those Clydesales. Man,

1:00:54 >> now we're, you know, just having a

1:00:57 little fun, joshing around, if you will.

1:01:00 Bo Scalla doing just fine actually away

1:01:04 at a wedding.

1:01:04 >> Yeah, we just we just miss him so

1:01:06 dearly. We have to make them a part of

1:01:08 everything that we do.

1:01:09 >> Amen.

1:01:10 >> Just like in between this this uh these

1:01:12 next two pitches, I will be doing my

1:01:14 best impersonation of a skit and a scat.

1:01:19 >> Swung on and missed. Robert Anthony Cruz

1:01:22 coming up empty against Brett Maddock.

1:01:26 He'll find his way back to the bench.

1:01:28 And that is the first out that Madak has

1:01:30 been able to record tonight for

1:01:31 Indianapolis.

1:01:33 >> All my homies hate change ups, man.

1:01:35 Really good one for B right there

1:01:36 though. And I'm skitting and I'm

1:01:38 scatting and I'm scooping and gapping

1:01:39 and I'm dipping and I'm dpping and I'm

1:01:40 booping and bopping. And Reese Alexi

1:01:43 boopity bopping and bop boop bop. Oh,

1:01:46 that would have been so cool. That was a

1:01:48 homer, man. [laughter]

1:01:49 >> Oh man. Cowboy Kyle trying to get the

1:01:53 good mojo flowing for Super Reese

1:01:55 Seleiatis.

1:01:58 >> He's been quiet in his last couple of

1:02:00 games for these bananas. Yeah, I was

1:02:02 going to say, Josh, I feel like, you

1:02:03 know, this this uh first inning is off

1:02:06 to a good start to us. I feel like we're

1:02:08 we're definitely gaining some momentum,

1:02:09 but we got a couple guys in that lineup

1:02:10 that were really looking um to get back

1:02:13 onto that hot streak. And I feel like

1:02:14 we've been playing good, man. We

1:02:15 pitched.

1:02:17 Throw down. KJ way ahead of it. Good

1:02:20 job. Under score position, one out for

1:02:22 the Bananas. I feel like this series,

1:02:24 man, we're we we're a couple pitches

1:02:26 away. Um we've been throwing really well

1:02:28 as a staff. We've been hitting. They

1:02:30 they've got some good arms, but you

1:02:31 know, things just aren't going our way.

1:02:33 We're hitting a couple balls hard and

1:02:34 they're going right at people right now.

1:02:36 >> Yeah, I mean across this stretch against

1:02:38 the Clowns going back to Kansas City, a

1:02:41 team earn run average that's actually

1:02:43 below 4 and a half for you guys.

1:02:45 Unfortunately, the offense just hasn't

1:02:47 exactly been there as Reese Selectis

1:02:50 hits this one high in the air. Carell

1:02:52 Prime ranging over in foul territory

1:02:55 will make the catch. And for a split

1:02:58 second, Kyle Jackson thought about

1:03:00 testing prime time and tagging up to

1:03:02 third base, but he'll be content with

1:03:05 hanging out at 2B.

1:03:08 That'll bring up Ryan Cox to the disc

1:03:10 [music] with two outs. Also known as my

1:03:12 Xbox partner in Arc Raiders in late

1:03:15 evenings after the game looking for

1:03:17 another good at bat. I feel like Coxy

1:03:18 the series has been putting together

1:03:20 some really good at bats. you know,

1:03:22 running pitch counts up, making guys

1:03:23 work. Quabs and swabs is what we're in

1:03:26 the business of, and I feel like he's

1:03:27 the best man at it right now in the

1:03:29 lineup.

1:03:29 >> Yep. Coxy, a ball for sprint last night.

1:03:32 And now a banana ball that is floated in

1:03:34 shallow right field. Jaylen Basquez

1:03:38 pops over a sliding Nico Boltizer

1:03:42 and makes the grab.

1:03:47 Nico not worse for wear. And Joe Lidle

1:03:50 bowing down in full respect. Oh no,

1:03:55 Tiser making the grab.

1:03:58 >> Oh my goodness.

1:04:07 >> A wild play for Nicoleser and an inning

1:04:11 saving play at that. Fantastic stuff

1:04:16 from the Indianapolis Clowns to cap off

1:04:18 our bottom of the second. The Bananas

1:04:21 still leading this ball game one to

1:04:22 nothing as we welcome you back inside

1:04:25 our broadcast booth. I am Josh Dipsky

1:04:28 joined alongside the 9-year Savannah

1:04:30 Banana, Mr. Cowboy Kyle Luig. [cheering]

1:04:34 Thank you so much for having me. I can't

1:04:36 think of a better way to spend our

1:04:37 Saturday. I would like to do another

1:04:39 group hug even though there's not a

1:04:41 third here. We're gonna act like he's

1:04:42 here and we can squeeze him in. Um,

1:04:44 those watching, if you could clip this

1:04:46 and and and AI him in or something,

1:04:48 Steve Kellogg, I know you're capable of

1:04:49 that.

1:04:49 >> You can do it, Steve.

1:04:50 >> I would love to see that, man. So happy

1:04:52 to be back up here. Um, you got you got

1:04:54 some new toys up here, man. I know that

1:04:56 the broadcast has been elevated

1:04:58 obviously since the three years, two or

1:05:00 three years that I've been up here. But

1:05:01 man, I look clearer than I've ever been

1:05:03 right now on that monitor, man.

1:05:05 >> I I in my eyes, you've always looked

1:05:07 clear, man. But a minus eight contact

1:05:09 has certainly helped me in that

1:05:10 department.

1:05:11 >> [laughter]

1:05:13 >> That's phenomenal. And we've got a man

1:05:15 on the mound, I believe, number 11. I I

1:05:18 think we're going to be able to

1:05:18 hopefully talk to him, Josh. Is that

1:05:20 correct?

1:05:20 >> Yeah. You mentioned the new technology

1:05:22 up here in the broadcast booth. That

1:05:24 that does mean that, you know, the miked

1:05:26 ups have gotten better over the years.

1:05:28 And you know what? Why don't we welcome

1:05:31 our man Austin Jury, the Banana Ball

1:05:33 rookie, into the broadcast. AD, how you

1:05:36 doing, man?

1:05:36 >> Good. How are you? First time for

1:05:37 everything.

1:05:38 >> Fantastic,

1:05:39 >> dude. We knew uh it had been a minute.

1:05:41 >> Come on, K.

1:05:43 >> This was something that I know you've

1:05:45 been patiently waiting for.

1:05:46 >> Yeah, I've been actually anticipating,

1:05:48 you know, prepping cuz I I really don't

1:05:51 know how this is going to go, but we're

1:05:52 going to go.

1:05:52 >> Well, lucky for you, you have Cowboy

1:05:55 Kyle Luig, a man with a plethora of

1:05:57 miked up experience to help you through

1:05:59 this.

1:06:01 Good

1:06:01 >> pitch. Good start. We don't want him to

1:06:03 ambush there. I bet you don't expect him

1:06:05 to have me in your ear to get this thing

1:06:06 going.

1:06:07 >> That helps me a lot.

1:06:10 helps me so much.

1:06:11 >> Good pitch. Good pitch. Now, what do you

1:06:13 what do you like here, AD? I know we've

1:06:15 been going fast ball heavy primarily.

1:06:16 >> Oh, he went he called fast ball. So,

1:06:18 >> okay.

1:06:19 >> Can Can Grizz hear us?

1:06:22 [cheering]

1:06:22 >> Good pitch.

1:06:23 >> You didn't know that. Go Grizz.

1:06:25 >> Go Grizz. What's up?

1:06:27 [cheering]

1:06:28 >> Great pitch. I had one and two here,

1:06:29 Jury.

1:06:30 >> Early early in the contest here. How is

1:06:33 it thrown to Grizz? I'm not sure if

1:06:35 you've thrown to anybody but Bill so far

1:06:37 this year. Hey, Grizz is like he overco

1:06:39 complicates but in the right ways. You

1:06:41 know what I mean? In the right ways.

1:06:43 There it is. He's going slider. Going

1:06:45 sliders.

1:06:46 >> Make a pitch. [cheering]

1:06:49 >> Very nice. Now, show me a s. This is

1:06:51 something that we've been working on in

1:06:53 your area. Show me.

1:06:54 >> That's a little S. It's a business walk.

1:06:56 You know what I mean?

1:06:58 >> A business walk.

1:06:59 >> See? See this?

1:07:00 >> You guys don't walk into interviews like

1:07:01 that?

1:07:03 >> See, man. I just don't know about that

1:07:06 one, [laughter] man. AD, what's it going

1:07:07 to take, man? What's it going to take to

1:07:09 improve those dance moves?

1:07:11 >> It's going to take keeping Joe Gray off

1:07:14 of the bases here as he's been

1:07:15 >> Yeah, he's hot.

1:07:16 >> He's been red hot. Good first pitch fast

1:07:18 ball. Way ahead. Make a pitch.

1:07:21 >> Good. Good. Way ahead. 0 and2. Now, I

1:07:24 want you to take a breather. You're

1:07:25 You're working pretty fast this. Take a

1:07:27 breather. And before you throw this

1:07:28 pitch, think of a s that you can do

1:07:31 before you strike him out.

1:07:32 >> All right, we're going to do the shimmy

1:07:33 cuz you know we both love the shimmy.

1:07:37 That's a fly out. That's what we call

1:07:39 FA.

1:07:39 >> You got a guy back flip.

1:07:41 >> Oh yeah.

1:07:43 >> TR in center field back flipping for a

1:07:47 second straight night for the Savannah

1:07:49 Bananas.

1:07:50 >> Nice.

1:07:53 >> Hey, that's why they call him the doc,

1:07:55 you know.

1:07:56 >> The doctor with his 40th trick play on

1:07:59 the 2026 World Tour. AD man, what is it

1:08:03 like to watch all these guys and the

1:08:05 trick plays that they collect behind you

1:08:07 this year?

1:08:07 >> You know what? I just I got here and I

1:08:10 thought, hey, I'm an athletic and then I

1:08:11 see all these guys and I'm I have no

1:08:13 idea how they catch these balls. I've

1:08:14 been trying all for 3 months to catch

1:08:16 them behind my back and BP.

1:08:21 >> Good. Way ahead of MLB star Jackie

1:08:24 Bradley here. Take a minute. Enjoy this

1:08:26 inning, man. You're about to throw up a

1:08:27 zero for the second inning in a row. All

1:08:29 right, this one's pretty good. See, we

1:08:33 got to lock in.

1:08:37 >> Oh, no, man. I jinxed it. It's the

1:08:40 broadcast jinx. That's on me. We can

1:08:41 score that hit on uh on my stats. You

1:08:43 don't have to take that.

1:08:44 >> Yep. Those will go in Kyle's uh ledger

1:08:47 on bananaball.com/stats.

1:08:50 >> Sorry, Jackie Bailey Jr., you know,

1:08:52 that's you know, you're going to give a

1:08:53 hit go two down the middle.

1:08:55 >> I love the aggressiveness, man. We've

1:08:57 been talking about that as a pitching

1:08:58 staff. You know, we've got two walks, I

1:09:00 think, on the weekend so far. Um, I

1:09:03 think it's been something that we've

1:09:04 been able to do really well, especially

1:09:05 you today getting ahead in the count,

1:09:06 man.

1:09:09 >> Don't you take me to get that.

1:09:14 >> Is that gone?

1:09:15 >> Uh, it's at the end. [cheering]

1:09:20 >> Well, that ball continued to carry off

1:09:22 the bat of Bobby Leay. [cheering]

1:09:28 The day launching that one over the left

1:09:31 field wall for Indianapolis

1:09:34 and a tough

1:09:35 >> two out home run surrender [cheering]

1:09:37 there from AD.

1:09:39 >> I mean it does it just fly here at

1:09:40 Grayson? It hit about 88 off the bat.

1:09:43 [laughter]

1:09:43 >> I mean it's a good pitch change up down.

1:09:46 I will also have to say that that can go

1:09:48 on my ledger as well. I mean I I I

1:09:50 started getting a little too confident

1:09:51 with two strikes.

1:09:53 >> Um and you got a pesky guy in the box

1:09:54 now.

1:10:00 Good. This is what we talked about,

1:10:01 Jury. That PRP, you got to have a

1:10:02 positive response.

1:10:03 >> Positive response. Positive response.

1:10:07 >> Good boy.

1:10:08 >> There you go. Great pitch.

1:10:09 >> That's a strike, Joe Lidle.

1:10:12 >> Yeah.

1:10:17 >> Good. A head one, two here. I will say I

1:10:21 know that you want to play baseball for

1:10:23 the rest of your life, but whatever you

1:10:24 do after baseball, I would not recommend

1:10:26 it being singer.

1:10:27 >> I think I got it. You know,

1:10:29 >> I've been doing some Derek Cleennis

1:10:31 lessons.

1:10:33 >> You're paying for the Cleo lessons.

1:10:35 >> You know what?

1:10:36 >> Or is he giving those out pro bono?

1:10:38 >> No, he's top dollar. You know, he can't

1:10:39 get in there for free.

1:10:42 >> Make a pitch here. You got a one, two.

1:10:44 >> One, two.

1:10:46 Make a hit.

1:10:49 >> That's not even a hit. There's no way.

1:10:52 >> Oh, pesky hitter.

1:10:54 >> I might have to send y'all on your way.

1:10:56 [laughter]

1:10:59 >> Oh, man. It started so well, too. But a

1:11:01 trio of two out knocks for Indianapolis.

1:11:04 And now Lidle taking off the base pass

1:11:07 in favor of Malachi Mitchell.

1:11:10 >> Go Lidle, huh?

1:11:12 Looks a little overdressed for the

1:11:14 occasion over there at first.

1:11:15 >> Yeah. Flashing looks like a full suit.

1:11:18 >> There we go, Jack.

1:11:20 >> And Jack,

1:11:23 [cheering]

1:11:24 >> phenomenal, AD,

1:11:25 >> my boy.

1:11:26 >> Phenomenal.

1:11:26 >> Thank you.

1:11:27 >> Keep going. We need a couple more

1:11:29 innings from you, big man.

1:11:30 >> 100%. 100%.

1:11:32 >> You know what, thank you so much for

1:11:35 having us on the show, my friends.

1:11:36 >> It was a pleasure, but those are

1:11:37 unearned, right?

1:11:38 >> Rooting for you the rest of the way

1:11:39 tonight, man. Best of [laughter] luck.

1:11:40 Thank you. Appreciate it.

1:11:42 >> There are over the field for bananas

1:11:45 teens in foster care without a permanent

1:11:47 home. To raise awareness and support

1:11:49 this community, we created Bananas

1:11:51 Foster, the official nonprofit of Banana

1:11:54 Ball. Our organization is dedicated to

1:11:57 celebrating the foster care community

1:11:59 while educating and inspiring others to

1:12:01 get involved. Tonight, we are

1:12:04 celebrating Kendall Gay. Kendall was

1:12:06 inspired to make a difference in the

1:12:08 foster care community after her mom

1:12:11 became a single foster mom. The two of

1:12:13 them together are single foster moms and

1:12:16 in the last four years they have

1:12:18 welcomed over 30 children and teens into

1:12:21 their home and she's adopted two into

1:12:24 her family forever. Fans, please welcome

1:12:27 to the field Kendall and her family for

1:12:30 making a difference right here in our

1:12:32 community. [cheering and applause]

1:12:34 Heat.

1:12:39 [applause]

1:12:44 [cheering]

1:12:49 Heat. [applause]

1:13:00 >> [cheering]

1:13:05 >> A big shout out to Kendall Gay and the

1:13:08 entire Gay family

1:13:11 helping welcome combine 30 children into

1:13:14 their homes. You can text bunch to 50155

1:13:18 if you want to support Bananas Foster.

1:13:20 [cheering]

1:13:23 Indianapolis Clowns

1:13:25 got two runs in the top of the third

1:13:27 inning. And you see across the Clowns

1:13:30 last three wins, some pretty standout

1:13:33 performances from Joe Idol, Carell

1:13:35 Prime, and Chris Burgess. All of these

1:13:37 guys batting 500 or better across these

1:13:40 last three dubs. Idol pacing the pack

1:13:43 with four extra base hits as well. And

1:13:47 we saw a knock from Joe there in the

1:13:50 third against AD.

1:13:53 So, the Clowns offense starting to churn

1:13:56 again in the third inning. See if the

1:13:58 Bananas can respond offensively against

1:14:00 Brett Maddock like they did in the

1:14:02 first.

1:14:08 [music]

1:14:09 Now, Kyle, not sure how much it's been

1:14:13 brought up to you, but a reminder for

1:14:15 all the people who have just now joined

1:14:17 us. This is the 300th Banana Ball game

1:14:21 of all time for the Savannah Bananas in

1:14:23 their franchise history. What is it like

1:14:26 to be a part of that? Shoing them, man.

1:14:28 Um, it feels like 500 on my body

1:14:31 currently. Um, but I mean, what a cool

1:14:33 milestone. I feel like each year we're

1:14:35 we're continuing to evolve as well as I

1:14:37 mean look at some of the teams that are

1:14:39 playing you know they're they're 20th

1:14:41 [music] they're getting ready next uh

1:14:43 next couple weeks their 30th games ever

1:14:46 as a franchise and just the

1:14:48 competitiveness in the league and like

1:14:50 you see a pitcher that we got um in the

1:14:52 first round in this year's draft and

1:14:53 Austin Gury who I think is borderline

1:14:56 one of the best pitchers in the league

1:14:57 as Tai Cubald one

1:15:00 down the right field line. I don't think

1:15:02 we've got a catch. I've got a giant hole

1:15:04 in front of me.

1:15:05 >> No catch made.

1:15:06 >> No catch made. I

1:15:06 >> Good chase by Nico Holesizer.

1:15:08 >> Very good effort. I think that, you

1:15:09 know, Drury's one of the best pitchers

1:15:11 in the league. And we've got, you know,

1:15:12 on any given night in any given inning,

1:15:14 you can give up numerous numerous

1:15:16 amounts of runs. Just goes to show, you

1:15:18 know, no matter how much experience

1:15:20 those guys in the yellow have in in 300

1:15:22 career franchise games, it just it's

1:15:24 anybody's game any any night.

1:15:26 >> Called strike three

1:15:28 outside corner and Bryson Wheeler is

1:15:31 going to ring up. Tie two fly.

1:15:34 Ty Jackson

1:15:38 not the happiest with that call.

1:15:41 >> And now Jackson Olsen's got something

1:15:43 for us.

1:15:47 [music]

1:15:53 I loved you. Came back when it matter

1:15:55 that I saw you standing there in the

1:15:58 light of the window wearing that same

1:16:00 smile. Man, it's been a [music] while,

1:16:02 but I knew it. I knew you.

1:16:08 I knew you.

1:16:13 I [music] knew you.

1:16:25 >> [music]

1:16:28 >> Goodbye.

1:16:32 [music]

1:16:36 >> Sweet stuff there. The banana second

1:16:38 baseman. Jackson Olsen

1:16:41 was both [cheering] Woody and Buzz as a

1:16:43 kid and hits this one into right center

1:16:46 field. Joe Green Jr. with the tip and

1:16:49 Nicolesizer

1:16:51 hauls it in. The oldfashioned cap for a

1:16:53 double trick play for the Indianapolis

1:16:55 Clowns. Is that a Toy Story X Taylor

1:16:59 Swift moment that we had there?

1:17:01 >> Yeah, Taylor Swift created a new song to

1:17:04 Toy Story 5. I knew it. I knew you.

1:17:07 >> I had no idea, man.

1:17:09 >> Got the people saying that she's

1:17:10 returned to her country roots.

1:17:12 >> I am so far out of the loop. I'm so

1:17:13 there for that. I love I love the

1:17:15 country roots. um I believe which was in

1:17:18 the beginning of her career. I know a

1:17:21 alarming little about Paris.

1:17:24 We got Eastston. Put the bag put the

1:17:26 fries in the bag. Parish is now at the

1:17:28 plate.

1:17:28 >> Now, how did he earn that nickname?

1:17:30 >> I don't even know. He's [laughter]

1:17:32 I mean, he's he's such a He's such a

1:17:34 gem, man. He's such a gem. He He shows

1:17:37 up to the field. He works so hard every

1:17:39 day and everybody tries to pick on him

1:17:41 cuz he's everybody's [music]

1:17:43 favorite in the locker room right now.

1:17:47 And um man, he wears anything that you

1:17:50 throw at him and I think it was just

1:17:51 some stupid thing that Bill threw at

1:17:53 [music] him and kind of stuck because we

1:17:54 thought it was funny and he doesn't even

1:17:56 care at all.

1:17:57 >> Parish

1:17:59 with a foul tip and that caught a piece

1:18:01 of Joe Lidle in some capacity.

1:18:05 So now Bryson Wheeler going to walk this

1:18:08 banana ball out to Brett Madak on the

1:18:10 mound to make sure Lidle can catch a

1:18:12 little breather.

1:18:14 Again, this is Lidle's

1:18:16 first start behind the plate since he

1:18:18 has returned from injury.

1:18:21 He's dealing with a bone bruise. Kept

1:18:25 him hampered and out of the clown's

1:18:27 lineup.

1:18:29 >> The contusion, some would say.

1:18:31 >> That's correct.

1:18:31 >> Especially those with a kinesiology

1:18:33 degree.

1:18:33 >> Your vocabulary is spectacular.

1:18:35 >> That's what I went to school for, you

1:18:36 know, but it's

1:18:37 >> vocabulary or

1:18:38 >> uh not vocabulary, kinesiology. Yes.

1:18:40 >> Yeah.

1:18:41 >> There's a swing and a miss. [music]

1:18:44 Brett Maddock

1:18:46 >> strikeouts of Ty Jackson and Eastston

1:18:48 Parish. Also gets a pair of trick plays

1:18:51 and earns the Clowns their first point

1:18:54 of the night. Through three innings here

1:18:56 in Grayson Stadium, we are even. The

1:19:00 Clowns and the Bananas nodded at one

1:19:03 point each.

1:19:06 And there you go. Brett Madak, he's

1:19:08 cooking.

1:19:09 >> I think it it was it was it's Freddy

1:19:11 Crocker. I think

1:19:12 >> Freddy Crocker. at that point which I

1:19:15 think is a beautiful play on words as

1:19:18 we're going to see Austin Drury here in

1:19:20 a minute coming out for his [music]

1:19:21 fourth inning of work. It's a guy that

1:19:23 we're looking to eat a lot of the game

1:19:25 tonight for the bananas. We've got still

1:19:27 some guys in the pin um that we can go

1:19:30 to tonight. One being including myself

1:19:33 um which I'm a very big fan of throwing.

1:19:34 >> How's that for a tease?

1:19:35 >> Yeah, I'm I mean I don't know. I can't

1:19:37 tell the future. Um but I'm a big fan of

1:19:39 throwing here at Grayson Stadium. Um,

1:19:42 love throwing in front of the faithful

1:19:43 here for the past nine years. I've been

1:19:45 so lucky to do this. Um, so yeah, we'll

1:19:48 see how this unfolds. Tight ball game,

1:19:50 tight in the trick plays right across

1:19:52 the board, man. And we welcome you back

1:19:54 inside the booth. I'm Josh Gilletky,

1:19:56 joined by the 9-year Savannah Banana,

1:19:58 Mr. Cowboy Kyle [music] Luig making a

1:20:00 triumphant return to the broadcast

1:20:02 booth. Oh man, just feels so right, my

1:20:05 friend.

1:20:06 >> I hope when Boico sees this on the

1:20:07 playback that it brings a tear to his

1:20:09 eye. I I bet he is crying right now.

1:20:11 >> You think so?

1:20:12 >> Well, he is at his uncle's wedding.

1:20:14 >> That's true. That's true. It's a good

1:20:15 point.

1:20:15 >> So whether he's watch whether he's

1:20:17 watching us or officiating that wedding,

1:20:19 I would I would gather that there are

1:20:21 [music] some tears flowing from our

1:20:22 friend's eye.

1:20:23 >> I'll take either of those tears, man.

1:20:24 And it's another I mean,

1:20:26 >> we're rolling into June here, man. We're

1:20:28 rolling into uh the dog days of summer,

1:20:31 as I was going to call it, when we were

1:20:32 touching on that Joe Lidle injury that

1:20:34 kept him out for a while. A lot of these

1:20:35 clubs are getting a little banged up and

1:20:37 it's starting to some of those things

1:20:39 are starting to take toll. I mean, it's

1:20:40 a lot of travel. Um it's a lot of early

1:20:43 mornings and late nights and it's fun to

1:20:45 see some guys um get to step in

1:20:47 especially like it being wedding season

1:20:49 like we're uh we're short of our captain

1:20:51 Bill Loy so Grizz getting to start

1:20:53 behind the plate um as well as some

1:20:56 other guys starting to come in.

1:21:01 Everybody

1:21:15 [music]

1:21:36 >> [music]

1:21:41 >> your first

1:21:49 sem. My step

1:22:01 [music]

1:22:09 [music]

1:22:15 the men in black have made their way to

1:22:18 Savannah, Georgia. I did not know that

1:22:19 we had extraterrestrials a foot here in

1:22:23 this stadium. A reminder to everybody,

1:22:25 don't ever, ever touch the red button.

1:22:29 Never. And I was wondering where the

1:22:31 suits were going to come into play as

1:22:32 Jury's ahead [music] with his first fast

1:22:34 ball at the Carell Prime. I was

1:22:35 wondering when the suits were going to

1:22:36 come into play. And I love my dear

1:22:38 friend and ex- teammate Malachi Metro,

1:22:40 but I think him and Prime suits got

1:22:42 mixed up cuz that suit was eating

1:22:45 Malachi alive on that walk up. Oh man, a

1:22:48 handful of former teammates getting in

1:22:49 on that. Primed, Malachi Mitchell, Gage

1:22:52 Borhees, and then the rookies, Clark

1:22:55 Gilmore, and Andrew Irvin. And Jackie

1:22:58 Bradley Junior so kindly um lending his

1:23:00 vehicle for the beginning of the intro.

1:23:04 >> That is quite generous as Austin Drury

1:23:08 now finds himself in a 22 count against

1:23:11 Prime. Get one more look at Malachi

1:23:13 Mitchell in that suit. Kyle Jackson and

1:23:16 Alex Ziegler. That is a double trick

1:23:19 play and a beauty for the Savannah

1:23:20 Bananas.

1:23:22 Jackson between the legs and Alex

1:23:24 Ziegler smirking like he got away with

1:23:27 something because I think he did, Josh.

1:23:30 He's a sicko, man. I mean, always

1:23:32 looking for a trick play opportunity.

1:23:34 And I think a big laugh, especially with

1:23:37 his former teammate and both of our

1:23:38 formers teammate, Carl Prime, with a

1:23:40 head full of steam coming down that

1:23:42 first base line.

1:23:44 So, the bananas now five trick plays in

1:23:46 the ball game. Clowns with two.

1:23:51 >> And this is what we have typically seen

1:23:52 from Austin Drury. A guy who starts

1:23:54 these ball games racking up a handful of

1:23:57 strikeouts and then as the game

1:23:58 progresses, we see more and more trick

1:24:01 plays come behind him.

1:24:03 >> He's like fine wine, man. He just just

1:24:06 ages so well as the game goes on. And

1:24:09 another point I wanted to touch on as Oh

1:24:11 my god.

1:24:15 [music]

1:24:18 Oh man. Austin Drury throwing to Alex

1:24:21 Ziggler trying to catch another one

1:24:23 behind his back. Seth Markhamm at first

1:24:26 base

1:24:28 is

1:24:30 going to make his claim that Ziggy came

1:24:33 off of the bag

1:24:36 trying to make that snag. And we have a

1:24:38 challenge on our hands here tonight. The

1:24:42 Savannah Bananas have elected to

1:24:43 challenge this play.

1:24:46 And so the umpire and crew will go to

1:24:49 review this one. Did not see a single

1:24:52 challenge in last night's ball game.

1:24:56 And now AD and Ziggy will look on

1:25:01 >> trying to see if Ziggy was able to stay

1:25:03 on that first base bag.

1:25:09 And from the looks of it,

1:25:13 >> looks like Ziggy might have been pulled

1:25:14 off.

1:25:15 >> I just wanted so badly for the clip. I

1:25:19 mean, that's got to be one of the better

1:25:21 better plays you'll see a pitcher make.

1:25:22 And that's not even Austin Drury going

1:25:25 for a trick play. I think it's just

1:25:26 immediate reaction with the ball hit so

1:25:28 hard from Burgess.

1:25:30 >> Yep. Drury doing such a great job

1:25:32 fielding his own position. I also have

1:25:35 no idea what that little high knees in

1:25:37 place was after he fielded it. I think

1:25:40 he just got so excited. I think he had

1:25:42 the zooies.

1:25:44 >> Rookies just

1:25:46 >> takes a while for them to get adjusted.

1:25:47 >> I mean, it's a kids game and we want him

1:25:49 to have a ball.

1:25:52 [cheering]

1:25:54 >> Umpires taking their time making sure

1:25:57 they can get this call right.

1:26:00 In fact, our timer for this challenge

1:26:03 has expired,

1:26:06 >> but still a discussion going on

1:26:09 between Wheeler,

1:26:12 >> Hector Gonzalez, and Cal Alman. And now

1:26:14 the Empire's returning.

1:26:16 >> All right, ladies and gentlemen. After

1:26:18 further review,

1:26:20 >> the ruling on the field stands. Runner

1:26:24 is safe.

1:26:26 >> So, that one will stand.

1:26:29 Chris Burgess will wind up missing on a

1:26:32 trick play miss from Alex Ziegler.

1:26:35 Nothing inherently wrong with that throw

1:26:37 from Austin Drury.

1:26:42 That clip is off to the land of Shadow

1:26:44 and Flames. Never to be seen again.

1:26:47 Probably going to be um idolized by

1:26:50 Austin Drury on some of his content.

1:26:54 >> You know, there's there's good content

1:26:56 to be made out of that if I had to

1:26:57 guess. I could think of three or four

1:26:59 different ways.

1:26:59 >> Maybe use the curb your enthusiasm theme

1:27:02 song

1:27:03 once it gets to the Ziggy part. Who's to

1:27:06 say

1:27:09 back up to the dish 0 for one lined out

1:27:13 to Kyle Jackson in his first at bat and

1:27:17 now in the driver's seat. Three and one.

1:27:24 That one is spanked out to left field.

1:27:27 And that one going all the way to the

1:27:29 wall. Burgess getting a stop sign from

1:27:32 Eric Fox at third base.

1:27:36 And the Indianapolis Clowns with their

1:27:40 second extra base hit of the ball game.

1:27:44 This one coming courtesy of Hallizer,

1:27:48 >> who has only gotten better as his season

1:27:51 has progressed.

1:27:53 [cheering]

1:27:54 >> Tonight's doughut batter is Kirkland

1:27:56 Banks. If he strikes out, the fans here

1:27:58 in Grayson Stadium will get free donuts

1:28:00 courtesy of Duncan. And I'll tell you

1:28:02 what, Kyle, this will be a pretty good

1:28:04 time for AD to pick up another punch out

1:28:08 as a little dribbler. It's hit to AD. He

1:28:10 has to wait for this one to come down.

1:28:12 and he tried the Greg Maddox play. He

1:28:16 was looking to fake that throw over to

1:28:18 first base, spin around and fire back to

1:28:21 Kyle Jackson at third. Unfortunately,

1:28:25 KJ left the third base bag thinking he

1:28:27 might make the play instead of AD.

1:28:31 And so now the bags are full as Kirkland

1:28:35 Banks winds up with an infield single.

1:28:37 Jaylen Vasquez hits this to Ryan Cox. He

1:28:40 collects the trick play on his behind

1:28:42 the back feed to Jackson Olsen,

1:28:45 but nevertheless, the Bananas unable to

1:28:47 turn two and the Indianapolis Clowns put

1:28:50 a run on the board.

1:28:56 [music]

1:29:02 Heat. Heat. [music]

1:29:08 [music]

1:29:12 Number [music]

1:29:20 three,

1:29:22 Jun.

1:29:24 >> One more look at that replay.

1:29:27 Coxy between the legs and behind the

1:29:30 back. Awfully aggressive as the Bananas

1:29:32 were trying to turn two.

1:29:34 And it leads to Burgess crossing home.

1:29:38 Now this one getting away from Bryce

1:29:40 Graafi. throw down and it is into center

1:29:43 field.

1:29:45 Grizz thought about trying to gun down

1:29:47 JB instead. It is another costly

1:29:51 defensive miscue

1:29:53 that plates another run for

1:29:55 Indianapolis.

1:29:57 >> Yeah, and I would take it back even to I

1:29:59 think that the the play that you were

1:30:01 talking about, the Greg Maddox move that

1:30:03 Drew tried to make, I think is the right

1:30:05 play with a speedy Kirkland Banks

1:30:06 bearing down um the first baseline. And

1:30:09 I can't fault KJ either for charging and

1:30:11 and want to go get the ball and playing

1:30:12 it aggressive. And then, you know, it's

1:30:15 just a couple couple things here and

1:30:16 there that we've been talking about in

1:30:18 the locker room that that are kind of

1:30:20 swaying the game in in favor of the

1:30:22 teams that we're playing.

1:30:23 >> Well, we saw last night Kirkland Banks

1:30:25 did reach on a trick play miss. Danny

1:30:27 Hosley was just trying to go classic

1:30:28 between the legs at third base. Banks

1:30:31 beat it out. It certainly was not going

1:30:33 to be an easy play for AD.

1:30:36 who is trying to limit the damage.

1:30:38 Clowns already two in and that one cut

1:30:42 on and missed.

1:30:44 Drury challenged the former Brewers farm

1:30:46 hand with a high heater and Joe Gray Jr.

1:30:50 not able to catch up to it. So the

1:30:53 Clowns another inning with a pair of

1:30:55 runs

1:30:57 and seeking point number two as it is

1:31:00 now time to get down to the field for a

1:31:03 little hay baby. on your feet. All 5,000

1:31:09 fans here recent. We're going to do a

1:31:12 little Hey, baby. Let's get it. Shorts.

1:31:19 [music]

1:31:36 I want to know

1:31:40 my girl.

1:31:52 Oh, you [music] my girl

1:32:00 down.

1:32:09 I want to make my own my

1:32:14 [music]

1:32:33 I will

1:32:36 be my girl.

1:32:53 A great tradition here in Banana Ball.

1:32:56 All six teams in our fair sport taking

1:33:00 part in Hey Baby at a perfect time to

1:33:04 honestly get in on a little bap.

1:33:06 >> Yeah. I mean, [laughter]

1:33:08 >> I did not re I did not beat my high

1:33:10 score of 13.

1:33:12 >> You know, I uh

1:33:13 >> not doing very well in that department.

1:33:15 >> I have no idea what your obsession is

1:33:16 with that game. I don't understand it,

1:33:18 but we've got a good shot at another

1:33:20 former teammate. And one of my favorite

1:33:22 parts, one of my favorite people and one

1:33:24 of my favorite parts of the ever growing

1:33:26 league and more teams is playing against

1:33:28 former teammates. And Matt Wolf's got to

1:33:30 be up there on that Mount Rushmore of

1:33:32 favorite former teammates.

1:33:34 >> Yeah. Won't be taking over for the

1:33:35 Indianapolis Clowns.

1:33:39 Clowns trick pitcher. Over 20 different

1:33:41 trick pitches in his arsenal. an active

1:33:44 firefighter in his home state of

1:33:46 Oklahoma.

1:33:48 And we saw him pitch against his former

1:33:50 team last Sunday. Matt Wolf, three outs

1:33:54 in 2 minutes and 27 seconds and induced

1:33:57 three trick plays. So it was pretty

1:33:59 efficient work from Wolfie

1:34:02 who misses with his first delivery to

1:34:05 Dr. Meadows. Talk about aging like fine

1:34:08 wine as Matt Wolf does 19 trick plays

1:34:11 into a pop fly out to right center. It's

1:34:14 going to be Joe Gray deciding to just

1:34:17 come down with a normal snag as I think,

1:34:20 you know, Wolf as tenure and years in

1:34:23 the league come. You know, I think he's

1:34:25 only gotten more comfortable and really

1:34:26 settled in at pitching even though I

1:34:28 think he's a great athlete um in the

1:34:30 field. And I and I think that [music]

1:34:32 he's honestly getting younger with ages

1:34:34 as as he ages. Um, he looks younger and

1:34:37 younger every time I see him.

1:34:39 >> Well, I'm sure his daughter helps with

1:34:42 that as well. Wolfiey's [music] also

1:34:45 raved about joining this Indianapolis

1:34:48 Clowns team. Told us last week and he

1:34:51 loves sharing the locker room with all

1:34:53 of his teammates. And we'll fe some

1:34:56 flips behind the back. A transfer

1:34:57 between his legs and a delivery like

1:35:00 prime Tim Lindicum but misses high to

1:35:03 Dan Obururst. I would say even arguably

1:35:05 a left-handed slider as Dan fouls off a

1:35:08 fast ball. I heard rumor on the street

1:35:11 is he loves them so much because his

1:35:13 teammates help keep him youthful as well

1:35:16 as juiceful.

1:35:19 As

1:35:19 >> now Seth Markham, first base umpire

1:35:22 joining Matt Wolf on the barrel. The duo

1:35:25 back flip Wolf and he delivers and

1:35:29 plunks Dano Burst.

1:35:31 >> Oh no. And that's not good at all, Josh.

1:35:33 That ball's going to have to be thrown

1:35:34 out. It's got a bruise on it. Hit Dan

1:35:36 right in the tricep. It's got a dent in

1:35:38 it.

1:35:39 >> Dan so jacked.

1:35:43 But he he hurts banana balls.

1:35:45 >> Yeah. Yeah. Not only hurt on them,

1:35:47 >> but also with his tricep.

1:35:49 >> Only two men on this planet that are

1:35:52 able to do that. Dan Oburst and Levon

1:35:54 Reoso, twin brother of Dion.

1:35:57 >> Great call from Indianapolis. phenomenal

1:35:59 call back as he had a I thought, you

1:36:01 know, I I love to see him in that role

1:36:04 in the ninth inning and how calm and

1:36:05 collected he is on the mound and I mean

1:36:08 how good his stuff is. I mean his fast

1:36:10 ball just shoots out of his hand, jumps

1:36:12 out of it. That ball shooting out of the

1:36:14 hand of Matt Wolf after a 360 spin

1:36:18 2 and0 the count on Max Young Goldberg

1:36:20 the walk-off hero in inning number one

1:36:22 for the Savannah Bananas. I think Fiser

1:36:25 is I think that's Fisher Poly Dorov in

1:36:28 the in the barrel back there. [music]

1:36:32 High pop in shallow left center. Bobby

1:36:36 Leay

1:36:38 with tries to start a tip drill.

1:36:40 Instead, Dano is right there to collect

1:36:44 the banana ball and fire into Jaylen

1:36:46 Vasquez

1:36:48 who was positioned right on that second

1:36:50 base bag to make the out. So, heads up

1:36:54 play by Brian Dancero and great

1:36:56 instincts by JV. A very smart play from

1:36:59 two Banana Ball rookies.

1:37:03 >> The day not penalized with a trick play

1:37:05 missed

1:37:06 as Matt Wolf cartwheels his way on the

1:37:09 pitcher mound and loses the banana ball.

1:37:12 >> Oh, why not Derek Jeter on the on the

1:37:15 corner of the plate for a ball.

1:37:16 >> Scrambles back to the rubber. does his

1:37:19 best Jeter jump throw

1:37:21 and now is even the count at 1-1.

1:37:24 >> I mean, he looked like prime time.

1:37:27 Oh my god.

1:37:38 >> KJ with a rocket off the bat and past

1:37:41 Carell Prime at first base.

1:37:45 And now the throw goes over the head of

1:37:46 Kirkland. Bank makes at third. And

1:37:49 coming in to score is JT Sakula,

1:37:53 designated runner for the Savannah

1:37:54 Bananas. See the fastest man in the

1:37:57 world. I mean, I love the aggressive and

1:38:00 and just the smarts on the base path to

1:38:02 take take home last night. Steel home,

1:38:04 win a big inning for the Bananas last

1:38:06 night. Then JT going first to home, of

1:38:08 course, with the throwing error. But

1:38:09 God, I love watching him run the bases.

1:38:11 >> And he was ready. You saw him instantly

1:38:13 looking at Tyler Gillum telling him keep

1:38:15 going after he slid into third.

1:38:16 Holesheiser sailing that throw from

1:38:18 right field.

1:38:19 >> I think if Gillum could create his ideal

1:38:23 base runner in a lab for the green light

1:38:26 special. I imagine he would have to look

1:38:28 something like JT

1:38:29 >> Kyle Jackson standing 90 ft away at

1:38:32 third base. Also a pretty good

1:38:34 candidate. Manners trying to tie up this

1:38:36 inning against Matt Wolf. Try and keep

1:38:39 Indianapolis from

1:38:42 gaining the lead tonight.

1:38:44 Mark that last play down. A single for

1:38:46 Jackson and then the error from Nico

1:38:49 Hollesheiser

1:38:50 as Wolf tosses away the cap or the

1:38:53 cowboy hat I should say and the miss is

1:38:56 low. Deuces wild. [music]

1:39:00 Wolf he gets the sign from Joe and

1:39:03 Barack

1:39:05 hits that one foul. Seth Markham, I'll

1:39:07 tell you what, has been the most

1:39:10 entertaining umpire this weekend in

1:39:13 Grayson Stadium. He is attacking any and

1:39:16 every banana ball. And Robert Anthony

1:39:18 Cruz attacks the two two pitch. JB

1:39:21 transfers behind the back and throws in

1:39:23 time to Carell Prime. [music]

1:39:25 Matt Wolf able to hold on despite the

1:39:28 error from Nicoleser and the Clowns out

1:39:31 to a two to one lead. Kyle Lewigs, thank

1:39:33 you so much for joining me, friend. This

1:39:36 has been a real blessing.

1:39:37 >> Thank you guys so much for having me.

1:39:38 Can't wait for another opportunity.

1:39:40 >> Here's the world's slowest race, folks.

1:39:42 >> Fans, it is time for the ultimate test

1:39:45 of pure speed, determination, and just

1:39:48 straight up baby chaos. I've got seven

1:39:51 future allstars down here on the field

1:39:52 with me. Uh, say hello to Benji, Grant,

1:39:56 August, Wyatt, Bo, Austin, and Leighton.

1:40:01 And ladies and gentlemen, these babies

1:40:03 have just got one goal. make it to mommy

1:40:05 and daddy as fast as they can. So,

1:40:07 parents, please place your babies.

1:40:11 Ladies and gentlemen, we call this the

1:40:12 world's slowest race. On your marks, get

1:40:16 set, go.

1:40:19 And

1:40:20 >> and they are off. And they are

1:40:21 >> the babies dropped in front of Brandon

1:40:25 >> doing the on the field commentary right

1:40:27 now for this world's slowest race. And

1:40:29 now all of the parents beckoning their

1:40:32 children to come towards them. And

1:40:36 little movement. And now this Tikeke

1:40:39 starts to make his way towards that

1:40:41 yellow line and plops down on the turf.

1:40:46 Oh my goodness. He is off to the races

1:40:49 yet again. How far shall he go? Another

1:40:53 pause. This is like a game of red light,

1:40:56 green light.

1:40:58 When will that green light be flashing

1:41:00 for this youngster again?

1:41:03 He has decided the light is red. And

1:41:06 meanwhile, the other baby's behind him.

1:41:09 Very little motion. Oh, at the very end

1:41:12 on the right, we've got some movement

1:41:15 now. Our race getting tighter. The

1:41:16 babies are crawling towards each other.

1:41:19 They are crawling towards each other.

1:41:20 They are face to face.

1:41:26 something I don't know that I have ever

1:41:29 seen before as far as this world's

1:41:31 slowest race is concerned.

1:41:34 >> Oh my gosh, more tears from our

1:41:37 youngsters. And now our baby who was in

1:41:40 the lead is moving backwards. Oh, this

1:41:43 is a disaster.

1:41:46 >> Not what you were wanting to see.

1:41:51 >> It is getting closer and closer. That

1:41:54 line continuing to move and the tears

1:41:56 continuing to flow for some of these

1:41:58 kids. Oh, he's moving again. There is no

1:42:01 way. Is he going to do it? Has he been

1:42:04 toying with us this whole time? Is he

1:42:07 the puppet master and us just the

1:42:10 puppets? Oh, they are moving backwards

1:42:13 again. It is utter chaos.

1:42:17 It is seriously going to be a photo

1:42:19 finish.

1:42:21 Oh my gosh. Oh wow.

1:42:26 Our youngster in those camo shorts

1:42:30 emerges victorious.

1:42:35 The hero we did not know we needed.

1:42:40 Playing with our heartstrings.

1:42:45 Got off to such a hot start

1:42:47 he moved backwards for crying out loud.

1:42:51 And then at the last second

1:42:53 started that mad dash to the finish

1:42:55 line.

1:42:58 Another thrilling world's slowest race.

1:43:01 And now we kick things off. Top five.

1:43:04 Clowns leading two to one. And Jackie

1:43:06 Bradley Jr. skies this into shallow left

1:43:10 field. And Kyle Jackson cannot come up

1:43:12 with his snag behind the back.

1:43:16 So, another trick play missed

1:43:19 >> for the Savannah Bananas.

1:43:22 >> That one just off the edge of KJ's

1:43:26 leather.

1:43:29 And JBJ is off the bases. Malachi

1:43:33 Mitchell, the clown's designated runner,

1:43:35 in for a second time tonight.

1:43:37 So, here's Bobby Leay. We saw him take

1:43:40 80 deep in the third inning of play.

1:43:42 He's already collected two home runs

1:43:45 against the Bananas talented Southpaw

1:43:49 and both times they have come here in

1:43:51 Grayson Stadium.

1:43:55 One and two is our count.

1:43:59 AD glancing Malachi Mitchell for

1:44:03 delivering the pitch

1:44:06 and Leeday fouling that one back to the

1:44:08 netting.

1:44:11 Bobby, a second rounder for the

1:44:12 Indianapolis Clowns.

1:44:15 A stellar collegiate and independent

1:44:17 ball playing career, but not stellar,

1:44:20 not a stellar result there. [cheering]

1:44:24 Led another strikeout victim tonight.

1:44:29 Drury going to the heat, low in the

1:44:30 zone.

1:44:34 And still no progress from AD when it

1:44:37 comes to those dance moves on the

1:44:38 pitcher mound.

1:44:40 Might have helped to have kept Cowboy

1:44:42 Kyle up here. Who knows?

1:44:49 >> First pitch from Austin Drury. A good

1:44:52 looking pitch. Will not get the call

1:44:54 from home plate umpire Bryson Wheeler.

1:44:57 And Flash feigned a steal of second.

1:45:01 Decided to stay at first.

1:45:05 >> Idol one for two tonight.

1:45:12 Joe, a banana ball veteran,

1:45:15 has been in this sport since 2023,

1:45:19 is now playing for his third different

1:45:21 banana ball squad. Started with the

1:45:24 party animals, then spent 24 and 25 as a

1:45:27 firefighter for joining this clowns

1:45:30 team. He's a fifth round selection in

1:45:33 the banana ball player draft

1:45:36 >> and has a full count.

1:45:39 against Drury.

1:45:46 >> Payoff pitch out to left field. Cruz

1:45:49 tracking and that one caught the

1:45:52 oldfashioned way. Rack throwing all the

1:45:55 way back to Young Goldberg at first base

1:45:57 and flash back in safely.

1:46:02 So fly up to left field

1:46:05 and now looks like we're going down to

1:46:07 the field. The clowns with some fun

1:46:10 stuff for us.

1:46:10 >> Now coming to pitch from the US Women's

1:46:14 National Baseball Team and the number

1:46:17 one draft pick in the Women's

1:46:19 Professional Baseball League, Kelsey

1:46:22 Whitmore.

1:46:26 [cheering]

1:46:32 >> [cheering]

1:46:33 >> We'll scratch that. Reverse it. It's

1:46:35 Kelsey Whitmore taking the mound. Thank

1:46:39 you, Mr. Gillum. Kelsey, the number one

1:46:42 overall pick in the Women's Professional

1:46:44 Baseball League draft,

1:46:46 putting up a really fantastic second

1:46:49 campaign as a Savannah Banana, averaging

1:46:52 three outs in 2 minutes and 40 seconds

1:46:54 this season.

1:46:56 Five pitches [music]

1:46:58 in her arsenal and she commands all of

1:47:00 them very well.

1:47:15 Every day

1:47:18 I'll tell you

1:47:23 [music]

1:47:32 [music]

1:47:34 Number

1:47:37 44, Dale Francis Jr.

1:47:43 >> Sale Francis Jr.

1:47:46 channels his inner box, his inner boxer.

1:47:51 No telling who his favorite may be.

1:47:57 And an intimidating presence in that

1:48:00 right-handed batters [music] box as

1:48:02 Whitmore her first pitch in the turf for

1:48:05 a ball.

1:48:09 [music]

1:48:10 Dale Francis Jr.

1:48:13 another banana ball rookie

1:48:16 played college ball at Alabama State and

1:48:18 Erskin as well as Gardenner Webb where

1:48:21 he finished his career. Now a high pop

1:48:25 into right field. Reese Alexiatis with a

1:48:28 tip and he'll haul it in himself.

1:48:32 Spooky moment for a second, but

1:48:33 Alexiatis all smiles.

1:48:36 Bananas keep the clown scoreless in the

1:48:39 fifth inning of play. One more look at

1:48:40 that tip from Reese Alexiotis. And now

1:48:43 we send it back down to the field with

1:48:45 Michael Schwarz.

1:48:47 >> Hey guys, we're going to backpedal a

1:48:49 little bit to get out of this way

1:48:50 because we're with Nicolesizer. So, we

1:48:52 always got to do it big. Bring me

1:48:54 through that catch. My mouth just closed

1:48:58 last inning after that catch. That saved

1:49:00 the run in the second.

1:49:01 >> Yeah, you know, I knew I had to come up

1:49:02 big there for the boys. Save the inning.

1:49:04 That one falls. They win the inning. You

1:49:07 know, leaving it all out here.

1:49:08 >> All right. 2-1 right now. Clowns. What

1:49:10 do you guys got to do to make sure you

1:49:12 keep the lead and get the sweep of the

1:49:13 bananas?

1:49:14 >> You know, keep seeing the ball up,

1:49:15 staying in the middle of the field. I

1:49:17 like what we're doing today. I'm

1:49:18 confident in the boys. Let's go.

1:49:19 >> You know, I meant to ask you real quick.

1:49:20 What's with the cap? How did that start?

1:49:22 >> You know, I'm a man of many hats. Life's

1:49:24 too uh short to wear boring hats. You

1:49:26 know,

1:49:27 >> I like that.

1:49:29 >> Did you guys hear that? I know someone

1:49:32 who wears some really nice hat. Josh, do

1:49:34 you know a guy that wears a really cool

1:49:36 hat? Nico, thank you.

1:49:38 >> Well, I know a guy who wears a yellow

1:49:42 hat. Jesse Cole, the owner and inventor

1:49:46 of Banana Ball. Speaking of cool hats,

1:49:49 Stacy the space cowboy traditionally

1:49:52 rocking that headwear.

1:49:55 One of the many talented manas is he and

1:49:57 Spidey

1:49:59 [cheering]

1:50:00 teaming up to

1:50:03 I guess entertain the fans. That is that

1:50:05 is the only way to put it.

1:50:10 >> Split having some fun in the grand

1:50:12 stands as well. Never a dull moment

1:50:16 here in Banana Land.

1:50:20 [cheering]

1:50:25 >> Good ball game so far.

1:50:27 >> Clowns leading this one and hunting a

1:50:30 sweep.

1:50:32 >> Trying to spoil the bananas fun back at

1:50:35 home in Grayson Stadium.

1:50:48 And we'll see what the Savannah Bananas

1:50:49 can do

1:50:51 >> here in the home half of the fifth

1:50:52 inning.

1:50:55 Indianapolis sending Drew Irvin out to

1:50:58 the pitcher mound, rocking number 67.

1:51:03 Drew, this is his 12th assignment out of

1:51:06 the bullpen this season.

1:51:08 >> Saw him pitch against the Bananas.

1:51:11 fortunately handled the loss

1:51:15 last Sunday in Kansas City.

1:51:20 Pitched collegiately at Iowa and spent

1:51:22 some time in the Pittsburgh Pirates

1:51:24 organization.

1:51:27 And you see it's easy gas for Irvin.

1:51:31 Missing high to Reese Alexiatis.

1:51:38 Another heater unable to find the zone.

1:51:44 Drew has all the talent in the world.

1:51:46 Just trying to figure out

1:51:49 how to stay in the strike zone a little

1:51:50 more effectively as he's already fallen

1:51:53 behind 3 0 and make it four straight out

1:51:55 of the zone to Alexianis who is turning

1:51:58 and burning trying to make his way to

1:52:00 second base. Consider Ree a dead duck.

1:52:06 Indianapolis Clowns elite ball force

1:52:10 sprint defense.

1:52:12 Brian Danzero, the man applying the tag.

1:52:17 And the key in this sport when it comes

1:52:20 to ball force sprints,

1:52:23 get that transition in 7 seconds or less

1:52:26 between all the defenders behind your

1:52:27 pitcher and catcher. Clowns did so

1:52:30 successfully

1:52:32 and despite a ball sprint, nobody on the

1:52:36 bases for Urban.

1:52:38 And I'll tell you what, he just sped up

1:52:40 Ryan Cox.

1:52:44 Coxy went down on strikes twice last

1:52:47 night. Both times they were looking.

1:52:52 This time, Irvin

1:52:56 forces the banana ball veteran to try

1:52:59 and catch up to those heaters. And he

1:53:01 was working at a lightning pace.

1:53:12 >> Ty Jackson

1:53:15 is the bananas batter,

1:53:18 >> holding down the eighth spot tonight.

1:53:24 and just got a fresh cut back. Ty

1:53:28 Jackson shaved his head. Now behind the

1:53:31 plate, it would appear Chris Burgess has

1:53:34 moved in at that catcher's position. Ty

1:53:37 able to benefit from Burgess bobbling

1:53:40 the banana ball. Had trouble with it

1:53:44 before firing the throw down to Bobby

1:53:46 Leay. The clown shorts stop. And so tie

1:53:49 two fly, ever the aggressive runner,

1:53:52 makes his way up to second base.

1:53:58 And time to see if this Bananas team can

1:54:02 come through with a man in scoring

1:54:03 position.

1:54:05 Bananas batting 259 as a team with guys

1:54:09 in scoring position. Here in this

1:54:12 series, they are just three for 21.

1:54:15 Mark that down as a buck 43 the batting

1:54:19 average for the nanners.

1:54:26 One, two, the count on Jackson Olsen and

1:54:29 more gas from Irvin and another 67 Sy.

1:54:37 >> Drew doing it with fellow rookie Daniel

1:54:40 Foster as he comes off the mound. And

1:54:43 the Nanners leaving another man in

1:54:45 scoring position.

1:54:47 >> Clowns still leading through five

1:54:49 innings of play.

1:54:59 >> [music]

1:55:02 >> have tied DNA.

1:55:06 [music]

1:55:12 >> Hey, Grace Stadium. I got a question for

1:55:14 you. You better respond the right way.

1:55:16 Who here right now would absolutely love

1:55:20 a free t-shirt?

1:55:22 Then what are you waiting for? Get on

1:55:24 your feet. Get out of your seat and let

1:55:28 me hear you scream. [screaming]

1:55:34 [cheering]

1:55:35 As the clowns and bananas get the fans

1:55:38 fired up with t-shirts,

1:55:40 it's time to take a look at some numbers

1:55:42 for these Savannah Bananas.

1:55:45 As you [cheering] see, the Bananas a one

1:55:47 and three record in their last four

1:55:49 games. And you see a lot of the

1:55:51 superstars on this squad have been very

1:55:53 quiet offensively.

1:55:57 Not a lot of extra base hits to go

1:55:59 around. Three between Kyle Jackson and

1:56:02 Reese Alexi.

1:56:05 And you see the batting averages

1:56:08 all very low. Cruz at 250. That is the

1:56:13 top mark amongst these four guys. The

1:56:16 Bananas had three straight hits to open

1:56:19 up the ball game. Got themselves two

1:56:21 runs in a point, but since then they

1:56:24 have been a lot more quiet as Frankie

1:56:28 Moscatello

1:56:29 now takes the mound for the Bananas.

1:56:33 And Prime greets him with a single up

1:56:35 the middle and into center field.

1:56:39 >> Frankie hailing from Rocky Point, New

1:56:41 York, pitching for the 10th time this

1:56:44 season.

1:56:46 has a 6 minute and 59 second minutes per

1:56:50 inning mark, the highest on the Savannah

1:56:52 Bananas.

1:56:54 >> Now Chris Burgess is hacking early.

1:57:00 And the fans nearly had an opportunity

1:57:02 to make a play hanging out near that

1:57:05 left field landing.

1:57:12 I'm keeping my story straight. My

1:57:15 friends are in [music]

1:57:17 higher than my she

1:57:25 asking my

1:57:40 how about Moscatello. Having some fun on

1:57:43 the pitcher mound, boogieing with Kyle

1:57:47 Jackson, Max Young Goldberg on the

1:57:48 corners of this infield for the Nanners.

1:57:56 >> Good to see the rookie having some fun.

1:57:59 Still trying to settle into banana ball.

1:58:01 And that is a high VO fast ball straight

1:58:04 into the back of Chris Burgess. That one

1:58:07 doesn't feel good.

1:58:11 Burgess wincing a little bit as he jogs

1:58:14 down to first base.

1:58:23 It's now two on for Indianapolis.

1:58:27 And without an out,

1:58:33 Nicoleser,

1:58:35 our Crown's right fielder,

1:58:38 got the dish for the third time tonight.

1:58:41 Holiser was a fourth round pick in the

1:58:43 Banana Ball player draft and a guy who

1:58:45 was also drafted by the Los Angeles

1:58:47 Dodgers back in the 2018

1:58:51 MLB draft.

1:58:57 Nico 100 doubles and 87 home runs in his

1:59:01 minor league playing career.

1:59:05 300 RBI to his name as well [music]

1:59:10 and spent a lot of time in the minors,

1:59:12 too. 440 total games

1:59:15 before he opted to join Banana Ball.

1:59:20 now hits this one in the air for Zafi

1:59:23 hunting it for a moment,

1:59:26 waves to the crowd

1:59:31 and now prepares to get on the same page

1:59:33 with Moscatello.

1:59:35 Shakes him off

1:59:38 before delivering his next pitch. And

1:59:40 now the count's full.

1:59:47 Payoff pitchizer

1:59:51 lifting this one out of play.

1:59:54 So good battle for Nico

1:59:58 guy who very much is a three true

2:00:00 outcomes player in this sport. You don't

2:00:02 see it all that much but Nicolesizer

2:00:04 routinely home run strikeouts in ball

2:00:07 four sprints

2:00:10 and in a full count any of those are

2:00:13 very possible.

2:00:17 continues to fight off

2:00:20 these pitches for Moscatello who misses

2:00:23 high. Another ball for sprint for

2:00:26 Nicoleser this season and Carell Prime

2:00:30 will score with ease. Burgess moves up

2:00:32 to third base

2:00:35 and the Indianapolis Clowns just

2:00:38 continue to keep the offense going.

2:00:44 mentioned it last night. The Clowns

2:00:47 scored in four of their first six

2:00:49 innings offensively.

2:00:51 They have done the same thing tonight.

2:00:55 >> This is after all the top team in the

2:00:57 Banana Ball Championship League in runs

2:01:00 scored.

2:01:09 >> And now Frankie trying to dig himself

2:01:11 out of this hole.

2:01:14 >> [cheering]

2:01:19 [applause]

2:01:20 >> Kirkland Banks taking that one outside.

2:01:22 The count is one and one.

2:01:26 [cheering]

2:01:32 >> Number foul. And the fans getting louder

2:01:35 and louder.

2:01:37 >> Looking for donuts here tonight.

2:01:41 [cheering]

2:01:43 And a pop into shallow right field.

2:01:47 Alexiotis, no funny business, hauls it

2:01:51 in, hits his cut off man, Max Young

2:01:53 Goldberg.

2:01:55 And Moscatello gets out number one here

2:01:59 in the sixth inning.

2:02:05 So the Bananas with an opportunity now.

2:02:07 See if they can get a double play ball.

2:02:10 Not exactly a double play depth though.

2:02:13 Jackson Olsen [music]

2:02:15 >> expecting Vasquez to pull the ball right

2:02:17 back to Max Goldberg. The bananas rookie

2:02:21 first baseman makes the snag and steps

2:02:25 right on the bag.

2:02:28 A double play and right when the Nanners

2:02:30 needed it,

2:02:33 MJG

2:02:35 great reaction time to get Frankie out

2:02:38 of a sticky situation.

2:02:43 [music]

2:02:47 >> So now it's time to

2:02:51 check out these banana nanas dancing

2:02:53 away here in Grayson Stadium.

2:03:20 The banana bananas continue to dance

2:03:22 away down there on the diamond. And now

2:03:25 we welcome in Indianapolis Clowns rookie

2:03:28 and their designated fielder tonight,

2:03:30 Mr. Brian Danceo. How are you, friend?

2:03:32 >> Good. How are you guys?

2:03:34 >> Fantastic.

2:03:35 Now, Brian, so great to hear from you,

2:03:38 man. I I've got to tell you, as the

2:03:40 statistical Savannah Banana Ball, you

2:03:42 have done some fascinating things this

2:03:44 season for the Indianapolis Clowns. Got

2:03:47 the steel of first, got two home runs to

2:03:49 your name, and last weekend we saw you

2:03:52 make some history. You joined the back

2:03:54 flip catch club. What was that like for

2:03:57 you?

2:03:57 >> Oh man, it was awesome. I mean

2:04:00 do I have been doing it for almost a

2:04:04 year now when I was with the visitors

2:04:05 and it just seemed like every time that

2:04:08 that was my main focus, I never got the

2:04:10 ball to do it on. So So coming back

2:04:13 doing it last week in KC really special,

2:04:16 especially because it was in Kansas

2:04:17 City, our first MLB headliner.

2:04:20 So it was it was pretty electric.

2:04:24 I'll say so Vinnie Santo Sierra has

2:04:27 taken over on the mound for the

2:04:29 Indianapolis Clowns

2:04:32 >> with a one-run lead here in the inning.

2:04:34 Brian, I mean, you guys playing really

2:04:36 good ball at the moment. The offense has

2:04:39 just been elite. Saw you hit the two-run

2:04:41 home run last night. What is it like? Do

2:04:44 you just feel like you guys are all

2:04:45 feeding off of each other right now?

2:04:46 Yeah, I mean hitting is contagious and

2:04:49 it hadn't really wore off in a couple

2:04:51 weeks. So, we've been just kind of

2:04:53 rolling with it. It's no matter how we

2:04:55 have our lineup set, no matter who's in

2:04:57 there, who comes in late, even Fisher

2:04:59 Polyor off, the guy's hot at the plate,

2:05:02 too right now.

2:05:08 >> 22 Eastston Parish battling that one off

2:05:11 foul.

2:05:13 Brian, what's it like for you, man? guy

2:05:16 from Georgia getting to play here in

2:05:18 Grayson Stadium. You played a handful of

2:05:20 games as a visitor last year, but I'm

2:05:22 sure this is always going to feel

2:05:23 special for you.

2:05:24 >> No, it's awesome. I actually played here

2:05:26 my senior year of high school cuz I'm

2:05:28 from around the Atlanta area and we

2:05:30 decided our first couple games of the

2:05:32 year were going to be out here. So, I

2:05:34 actually got to play here in like 2014

2:05:37 15. Not trying to make myself sound too

2:05:39 old,

2:05:41 but I got to play here before, you know,

2:05:43 a lot of this stuff was here. Oh no.

2:05:48 >> Hold that thought. Vinnie Santar Sierra.

2:05:50 >> Oh, he's down.

2:05:52 >> Fires ball forward to Eastston Parish

2:05:54 who slipped rounding the first base bag.

2:05:57 That'll help out the Indianapolis

2:05:58 Clowns.

2:06:00 >> Those are scary every time.

2:06:04 >> Now, Brian, how are you doing, man?

2:06:05 Because, you know, we saw when you

2:06:08 played the bananas at Angel Stadium and

2:06:09 took a nasty spill at first base. Had to

2:06:12 miss a couple games. I assume you're

2:06:14 feeling great judging by how you landed

2:06:16 a backflip catch after all.

2:06:18 >> Yeah, I mean that was it was weird. Uh

2:06:21 it's the first time I ever, you know,

2:06:23 pulled a hamstring and it kind of came

2:06:26 out of nowhere. Um especially two

2:06:29 innings into our first big league park.

2:06:31 So it was a little little bit of a

2:06:34 setback, but um there we go.

2:06:38 >> Ground ball leay trying to go between

2:06:39 the legs.

2:06:41 And now this is not the start that the

2:06:43 Clowns were looking for as they're

2:06:45 trying to protect the lead. A ball four

2:06:48 sprint. A trick play missed. Puts two on

2:06:51 for the Bananas. And now Parish comes

2:06:54 off the bags. JT Sakalov now in as the

2:06:57 designated runner for the Nanners.

2:07:00 Brian, you just mentioned being in a

2:07:02 major league stadium. Angel Stadium, the

2:07:05 first one the Clowns ever got to play

2:07:06 in. But last weekend, you guys got your

2:07:09 first ever headline show in Kaufman

2:07:11 Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals.

2:07:14 What has it been like to see the

2:07:16 reception from the fans, not only in KC,

2:07:18 but when you guys played in Indianapolis

2:07:21 before that?

2:07:22 >> It's been awesome. I mean, [cheering]

2:07:24 you know, we are such a new team that,

2:07:26 you know, everybody kind of has to learn

2:07:28 our story and uh the background and kind

2:07:30 of how the Clowns were like the original

2:07:33 ones to do it. So, it's been really

2:07:35 cool. Well, I think when people hear the

2:07:36 story, they they love it more and more

2:07:39 just, you know, back in the 50s, long

2:07:42 time ago, you know, this was a thing and

2:07:45 it kind of fizzled out and stuff changed

2:07:47 and here we are in banana ball back with

2:07:50 the clowns. So, it's super special,

2:07:52 especially Bob Kendrick getting to go to

2:07:54 the museum and everything last week. It

2:07:57 just it means a little bit more to wear

2:07:59 this jersey than I not saying other

2:08:02 teams, but it means a little bit more

2:08:05 especially because when I first learned

2:08:07 about the team and you know that I was

2:08:10 going to be a part of it, you know, I'm

2:08:12 from Atlanta and uh doing my own

2:08:15 research and kind of seeing everything,

2:08:17 I knew that Hank Aaron played for Clowns

2:08:19 and he was number five and I've always

2:08:22 loved Hank Aaron. So, the fact that I

2:08:24 get to wear number five, I get to wear

2:08:26 the clowns across the chest is is really

2:08:29 special.

2:08:30 >> Yeah, it is really cool stuff. You and

2:08:32 me both big fans of Hammer and Hank.

2:08:35 >> Yeah.

2:08:36 >> Mini Sanar Sierra in a two- two count

2:08:40 right now against Dan Ourst

2:08:43 trying to see if he can collect his

2:08:44 first out and he misses high.

2:08:46 >> I've seen Dan hit for a while now,

2:08:48 especially in [music] college. He's he's

2:08:50 a bad man. You guys, West Georgia

2:08:53 fellas.

2:08:53 >> Yes, sir.

2:08:56 >> Here comes Sanier's payoff inside and

2:08:59 Bryson Wheeler will say that one clipped

2:09:02 the jersey of Dan Oburst.

2:09:09 >> So that'll help out Indianapolis

2:09:13 play at any base here. But still no outs

2:09:16 as the Bananas are trying to draw even.

2:09:19 Max Young Goldberg, the walk-off hero in

2:09:21 the first inning, trying to see if he

2:09:23 can repeat it.

2:09:32 Now, Brian, for you across the remainder

2:09:34 of this 2026 World Tour, what do you

2:09:37 think you're looking forward to the

2:09:38 most?

2:09:41 >> Hold that thought. High pop and it looks

2:09:44 like infield fly will be called.

2:09:47 Kirkland Banks hauls it in nonetheless.

2:10:00 >> So, now I go back to my question. Brian,

2:10:02 what you looking forward to the rest of

2:10:04 this World Tour?

2:10:05 >> Man, uh there's just so much, you know,

2:10:08 there's nothing specific now that, you

2:10:10 know, everybody's got we got a good bit

2:10:12 of games under our belt. We're playing

2:10:14 really well. I mean, it's just hanging

2:10:16 out with the guys, going to different

2:10:18 cities, you know, meeting

2:10:22 in all these cities because every city's

2:10:24 so different. So, getting to just kind

2:10:26 of be in different towns, you know, see

2:10:29 new areas, new people, and get to just

2:10:32 play for them guys. Like, I'm very

2:10:34 excited. No, I don't know how many

2:10:36 people would say it. Not saying it's

2:10:38 bad. I'm very excited to go to Fargo.

2:10:41 >> Yeah.

2:10:44 shout out. All

2:10:44 >> right.

2:10:49 >> Actually got to play against uh Prime in

2:10:52 Fargo when he was there and I love it.

2:10:55 Small little town.

2:10:57 >> Yeah. Handful of guys playing in Fargo.

2:10:59 Prime Filamino Helton and now Sanierro

2:11:03 cannot find the zone. Kyle Jackson earns

2:11:06 the ball for Sprint and that will plate

2:11:08 JT Sakulov and Dr. Meadows. [cheering]

2:11:12 Costly control and a trick play missed

2:11:16 lead to big things for the Bananas.

2:11:18 Brian Dansro, thank you so much for

2:11:21 joining us here tonight. It's been a

2:11:22 pleasure to watch you play this season,

2:11:24 man. Best of luck the rest of the night.

2:11:26 >> Appreciate you, man. Thank you very

2:11:27 much.

2:11:40 The Bananas win the inning, but they've

2:11:43 still got to contend with some hot bats

2:11:45 from these Indianapolis clowns who have

2:11:48 responded very well in innings after the

2:11:50 Nanners have scored. You get a look,

2:11:53 nine hits already tonight for

2:11:55 Indianapolis and they opened up the ball

2:11:58 game. Three straight knocks against

2:12:00 Austin Drury. Bobby Leday [music] with a

2:12:02 home run as well for this Clowns team.

2:12:11 A [music] run for the Clowns in the

2:12:13 first. He had two runs in both the third

2:12:16 and fourth innings and [cheering] then

2:12:18 plated another in inning number six.

2:12:21 Nonetheless, Banana Ball not a game that

2:12:24 is based on runs. Points the primary

2:12:28 name of the game. And right now it is

2:12:31 two a piece.

2:12:35 [cheering]

2:12:36 Fans going crazy here in the hostess

2:12:40 city of the south, Savannah, Georgia.

2:12:44 As you get a look, the banana panorama

2:12:51 >> giving us a pretty nice [music] view of

2:12:53 all the folks in the grand stands

2:12:58 in the party pavilion. the top deck

2:13:02 and Frankie Moscatello

2:13:05 has big opportunity.

2:13:08 Bananas willing to give him another

2:13:10 inning of work now with 20 pitches.

2:13:15 And pitch number 21 sails high.

2:13:24 >> That one squirts out of the glove of

2:13:26 Bryce Gappi. I was walking

2:13:35 That's called strike. Outside corner and

2:13:39 good placement from Frankie.

2:13:43 >> Joe Gray Jr. [music]

2:13:45 Good discipline. Lays off that pitch.

2:13:48 And now Kyle Jackson has trouble

2:13:50 bobbling that banana ball. Bananas

2:13:53 trying to scramble to gun down Cowboy

2:13:55 Joe. instead a head first dive into

2:13:58 second base

2:14:01 and he will reach safely.

2:14:04 So this is what we have talked about.

2:14:07 Clowns oh so good at being able to

2:14:10 respond

2:14:11 after the bananas score and most more

2:14:14 importantly claim points.

2:14:18 >> Jackie Bradley Jr.

2:14:23 up at the plate.

2:14:29 >> Cutting a miss from JBJ.

2:14:34 [music] 23.9

2:14:36 runs above a replacement level player

2:14:38 this season.

2:14:40 That is fourth among all players in

2:14:42 banana ball. JBJ only behind Kyle

2:14:46 Martin, Jake Skull, and Dane Toofflin.

2:14:57 And we've seen

2:14:59 >> just stellar play from him all season

2:15:01 long [music]

2:15:04 as his 3-1

2:15:06 is a pop in the infield. Ryan Cox tip

2:15:11 drill and that one pretty easy for Coxy.

2:15:17 That is now the eighth trick play of the

2:15:20 night

2:15:22 >> for the boys in yellow pinstripes

2:15:32 >> and Bobby Leay is back up two for three

2:15:37 two-run homer and Jackie scrambling back

2:15:41 to second base says that he or Hector

2:15:45 Gonzalez I should say at second base is

2:15:49 going to say that Joe Gray Jr. picked

2:15:51 off at second base, but the Clowns very

2:15:54 quick to utilize their challenge.

2:16:01 So now challenge number two on the night

2:16:08 and on first look

2:16:11 very tight play

2:16:14 and Joe Gray it's a tight one might have

2:16:19 been able to get back in there.

2:16:29 trying to slow things down

2:16:33 with the way we are looking at this

2:16:36 frame by frame. It It's really tricky.

2:16:42 My heart somewhat says

2:16:44 Joe Gray might be in safely, but what

2:16:48 you're looking for anytime you do these

2:16:50 replay reviews evidence after further

2:16:52 review

2:16:53 >> and now the ruling on the field

2:16:56 >> Bryson Wheeler and Seth Markham as well

2:16:59 as Cal Alman

2:17:02 >> will confirm the call.

2:17:08 >> So Joe Gray Jr.

2:17:10 picked off at second base.

2:17:16 And all in all, that was the safe call

2:17:19 for the umpiring crew. Tough to tell

2:17:24 there was conclusive evidence.

2:17:27 So now the day bats with the bases empty

2:17:29 instead of a man in scoring position.

2:17:39 hits in 14 of his last 15 games.

2:17:43 Actually, if you count tonight, that' be

2:17:45 15 of his last 16.

2:17:50 Moscatello rears back in his two- two

2:17:52 pitch is waved through and missed.

2:17:56 Frankie coming off the mound

2:18:00 and do a little body slam with tie two

2:18:03 fly the bananas extra hitter. Loving

2:18:06 what he saw from Frankie strikeouts.

2:18:09 Gazoo posts another clean inning for

2:18:11 this bananas team. [cheering]

2:18:17 And now folks, we welcome you back

2:18:20 inside our broadcast booth. I am yours

2:18:23 truly, Josh Tleski. And I I just want to

2:18:27 respond to some things that happened

2:18:29 last night. I know that you guys were

2:18:31 all aware that there was a segment in

2:18:33 which I referred to myself as

2:18:36 Jay Dog.

2:18:39 I know it was very interesting maybe not

2:18:42 what you guys were expecting of course

2:18:44 I'm you know just your friendly

2:18:46 neighborhood statistical soant and so I

2:18:49 would I just like to clarify some things

2:18:52 been thinking long and hard got limited

2:18:56 sleep last night I was tossing and

2:18:57 turning and you know I I know that

2:19:01 people may not have really loved what

2:19:04 Jay Dog was all about may not have loved

2:19:06 his energy may have loved the uh prop

2:19:09 pro shake that he made. I I can't

2:19:12 believe I'm saying that right now. You

2:19:15 know what? You know what? I'm I'm not

2:19:17 I'm not sorry. I'm not sorry for it. Jay

2:19:19 Dog Jay Dog's going to live on. We all

2:19:23 have a piece of Jay Dog inside of us. As

2:19:25 I like to say, Jay Dog, he's here to

2:19:28 stay, folks. He's here to stay.

2:19:33 >> Anyways, back to the action.

2:19:36 Cor Gilmore,

2:19:39 Mr. Relevant in the banana ball player

2:19:42 draft, takes over

2:19:47 and gets the swing and miss from Robert

2:19:48 Anthony Cruz. Gilmore last Sunday,

2:19:51 pitched against the Bananas

2:19:54 and completed his inning in 2 minutes

2:19:56 and 11 seconds. Earned a point as well.

2:19:59 now goes [music] to the trick pitch and

2:20:02 Cruz

2:20:03 gone about maybe making an effort to

2:20:06 attack that pitch. Spits on it.

2:20:10 Gilmore though is still in the driver's

2:20:12 seat but opts not to try for more

2:20:15 [music] tricky stuff.

2:20:22 That one fouled back to the screen.

2:20:26 [music]

2:20:27 Clark,

2:20:28 guy who pitched at Notre Dame, Dartmouth

2:20:32 as well,

2:20:36 and has been kind of up and down for the

2:20:37 Indianapolis Clowns

2:20:40 as you get a look at Split, the Banana's

2:20:43 mascot, who has somehow found his way to

2:20:45 the roof.

2:20:47 And luckily a lot safer and wiser up

2:20:50 there than Bo Scalla, I'll say that

2:20:52 much.

2:20:53 The payoff is driven out to deep right

2:20:57 field. Holiser tracks this one down.

2:21:05 >> Gives a wave to the fans in the right

2:21:08 field seats.

2:21:10 And good lumber from Robert Anthony

2:21:12 Cruz.

2:21:14 A loud first out though for the Savannah

2:21:17 Bananas.

2:21:18 Great work by Nicolesizer.

2:21:21 He's played corner outfield for the

2:21:25 Clowns this season. Spent some time as

2:21:27 the extra hitter as well,

2:21:31 >> but when he's been called upon to make

2:21:33 the big plays, he has come through. We

2:21:36 saw his sliding catch earlier tonight.

2:21:39 Now records that out as Reese Alexiatis

2:21:44 is behind one and two.

2:21:49 Gilmore flips back to himself and that

2:21:52 one

2:21:54 >> goes through the legs of Alexiatis.

2:21:57 He got megged by Clark Gilmore and

2:22:00 knocked to the ground. Alexi tied for

2:22:03 the tour lead and steals a first but not

2:22:06 able to get one there as he found

2:22:09 himself on the turf.

2:22:12 >> So now Gilmore

2:22:14 has to deliver a payoff pitch.

2:22:20 Guest bow

2:22:22 [music]

2:22:24 >> again. We mentioned or I mentioned

2:22:26 Gilmore little up and down. [music]

2:22:28 Six ball force sprints as well as six

2:22:32 batters that he has flunked this season.

2:22:34 Sometimes that [music] control erratic

2:22:38 and Alexi another deep drive and this

2:22:42 one is going to be over the head of Joe

2:22:45 Green Jr. here in right center field.

2:22:47 [cheering]

2:22:48 Stand up double for Super Reese.

2:22:52 Ain't sorely needed.

2:22:55 The Bananas

2:22:57 trying to come back here against the

2:22:59 Indianapolis Clowns

2:23:03 and score a point in the second straight

2:23:06 inning.

2:23:08 Super recent scoring position.

2:23:11 And now things go to Ryan Cox.

2:23:16 just two for 15 with runners in scoring

2:23:18 position, but that one is off the glove

2:23:20 of Gilmore and into right field.

2:23:22 [cheering] Blesheiser will not have a

2:23:24 play on it and Cox comes through for the

2:23:27 bananas. [cheering]

2:23:29 The glove magestion,

2:23:35 able to provide something with the bat

2:23:37 as well.

2:23:40 This back andforth contest

2:23:43 now sees the Savannah Bananas out in

2:23:46 front by a three-2 score

2:23:50 and split up there on the roof. A big

2:23:53 fan.

2:23:55 One more look again. And that ball

2:23:58 ricocheted [music] off the glove of

2:23:59 Clark Gilmore. Rolling very slowly into

2:24:03 right field and an impossible play for

2:24:06 Nico Haller and the rest of these

2:24:08 Indianapolis clowns especially with the

2:24:10 speed of Alexi.

2:24:17 >> So now for Indianapolis

2:24:20 got to see if they can do something

2:24:21 offensively or maybe even earn an

2:24:23 equalizer point.

2:24:30 It is a gorgeous night here

2:24:33 >> in Savannah

2:24:35 >> and we're going to get a look at some of

2:24:37 the trick plays here tonight. Dr.

2:24:39 Meadows a backflip catch. We saw Olsen

2:24:41 and Ziegler combined for the double

2:24:43 trick play as well as Joe Gray and

2:24:45 Nicoles are in the

2:37:27 been perfect

2:37:29 and somehow someway continues to lower

2:37:31 the earned run average

2:37:33 >> now down to just44.

2:37:42 Hazley 26 strikeouts

2:37:44 >> on his ledger

2:37:47 >> and we mentioned the eight saves.

2:37:51 This is the eighth straight game that

2:37:54 Danny Hley appears on the mound for the

2:37:56 Bananas

2:37:59 and he is trying to help them avoid the

2:38:03 sweep at the hands of the Indianapolis

2:38:06 Clowns.

2:38:15 For those of you still with us, welcome

2:38:17 back. It appears [cheering] we got our

2:38:20 audio at the perfect time. Danny Hosley

2:38:25 has taken over on the mound for the

2:38:26 Bananas. He's pitching in his eighth

2:38:28 straight game for the Bananas and he's a

2:38:30 perfect eight for eight to save

2:38:31 opportunities.

2:38:35 and he is battling against the bottom of

2:38:38 this clowns order. Means a golden batter

2:38:41 may be in store at some point. But the

2:38:43 clowns like their chances with Chris

2:38:46 Gorgeous.

2:38:51 >> Oley a one-two

2:38:54 and the banana ball sails outside the

2:38:56 zone.

2:39:00 Danny rocking back

2:39:03 >> and good spoil

2:39:05 >> by Mess.

2:39:11 >> Clowns have done a really good job at

2:39:14 scoring in the final inning this season,

2:39:16 especially lately.

2:39:18 Couple weekends ago when Tacoma

2:39:22 scored 11 runs that became points in the

2:39:25 final inning in that series.

2:39:29 But they won't get one courtesy of Chris

2:39:31 Burgess.

2:39:32 >> He waves through that pitch out of the

2:39:34 hand of Danny Hosley.

2:39:38 And the banana sultan of strikeouts

2:39:42 picks up another K.

2:39:46 [music]

2:39:49 Nicolesizer

2:39:51 has the ability to change this ball game

2:39:53 with just one swing.

2:39:56 [music]

2:39:58 Six bombs,

2:40:01 23 batted in. And down 02.

2:40:06 [music]

2:40:10 Just able

2:40:12 get a piece of that banana ball wasizer.

2:40:16 But Hosley

2:40:17 still in full control. Has the O2

2:40:21 advantage. The pitch swung on and

2:40:23 missed.

2:40:25 Bryce Grampi

2:40:27 taking off the helmet and he saw a lot

2:40:30 of emotion on the face of the Bananas

2:40:32 back stop tonight.

2:40:35 Fired up after that K. And what do you

2:40:39 know?

2:40:40 >> The Clowns with two outs will go to

2:40:43 their golden banner.

2:40:50 [screaming]

2:40:52 [groaning]

2:40:52 >> Grayson Stadium. There's two outs. You

2:40:55 know what I need?

2:40:55 >> We saw it last on

2:40:59 >> and we'll see it one more time in this

2:41:01 series for good measure.

2:41:04 >> Jackie Bradley Jr.

2:41:08 gets the assignment as the golden batter

2:41:11 for Indianapolis.

2:41:15 Has one home run as the golden batter

2:41:17 this year.

2:41:20 and hits this one into center.

2:41:24 Dr. Meadows a tip into the bare hand

2:41:28 [cheering]

2:41:32 with a 32 victory. The Savannah Bananas

2:41:37 avoid the sweep against the Indianapolis

2:41:40 Clouds

2:41:42 and get the win in their 300th Banana

2:41:46 Ball game in franchise history.

2:41:50 Danny Duolley shuts the door in 2

2:41:54 minutes and 19 seconds

2:42:01 and the Savannah Bananas

2:42:03 pull out a gritty victory

2:42:07 against Indianapolis.

2:42:15 The

2:42:15 >> boys all giving [music] each other some

2:42:16 high fives down on the field.

2:42:20 And now this the time that all the fans

2:42:23 of the boys in yellow have got to enjoy.

2:42:26 Time for them to do their celebratory

2:42:29 dance down on the field.

2:42:40 Heat. Heat.

2:42:46 [music]

2:42:54 >> [music]

2:42:56 >> It's the right.

2:43:10 [cheering]

2:43:15 >> And now you are getting a look at

2:43:17 tonight's showman of the game for the

2:43:18 Savannah Bananas. It's Mr. Kyle Jackson.

2:43:22 [music]

2:43:23 Phenomenal night for KJack. Some big

2:43:26 plays defensively in this ball game. And

2:43:29 then offensively

2:43:31 pick things [music] up.

2:43:33 A single

2:43:35 two ball force sprints. A run batted in

2:43:37 as well for the Bananas superstar third

2:43:40 baseman.

2:43:43 And what do you know?

2:43:46 The Bananas

2:43:47 able to match [music] the Clowns in runs

2:43:50 tonight.

2:43:51 Both teams scoring six, but the Bananas

2:43:55 better in the ever important points

2:43:58 column. [music]

2:43:59 3 to2 victors.

2:44:05 So KJ the showman yet again for this

2:44:08 bananas team and he is also front and

2:44:11 center in that dance with Macio Harrison

2:44:16 Reese Alexi Noanis in company

2:44:25 being home and being at home. And with

2:44:28 that, Kyle Jackson only added to his

2:44:33 impressive

2:44:34 2026 season.

2:44:38 >> Savannah Banana's third baseman

2:44:41 has wrapped up a plethora of Showman

2:44:44 awards this season. And now you got to

2:44:46 look. He entered tonight tied for

2:44:49 [music] the most with Jackie Bradley

2:44:50 Jr., the man who opposed him tonight.

2:44:54 And now KJack already up to six. this

2:44:58 year. Of course, it's been a pretty good

2:45:00 season as well for Chris Clark of the

2:45:03 Texas Tailgator,

2:45:05 [music] KJ's teammate, Mr. Reese

2:45:08 Alexiatis,

2:45:09 and Dane Tooffman of the Loco Beach

2:45:11 Coconuts. In my humble opinion, one of

2:45:14 the most slept on players in Banana

2:45:16 Ball.

2:45:18 >> Let's get down to Michael Schwarz Kyle

2:45:20 Jackson.

2:45:21 >> Something we do great in Banana Ball

2:45:22 sportsmanship. So, KJ's going to shake

2:45:24 some hands while we talk a little bit.

2:45:25 KJ, how much did you guys need that win

2:45:27 here in Savannah?

2:45:28 >> Well, we needed a win, but we just

2:45:30 needed confidence. We needed just a

2:45:32 reason to play hard. And I think every

2:45:34 day we show up and do the same thing and

2:45:36 we work our butts off and today we were

2:45:37 rewarded sometimes with a hammer,

2:45:38 sometimes with a nail.

2:45:39 >> Talk about confidence. You got up to the

2:45:41 plate, you go like this. You just go

2:45:42 like this. You needed that. You got that

2:45:43 extra base hit. You had the walk-off in

2:45:45 the inning. How much of a mind game is

2:45:48 that when you're trying to just get

2:45:49 those runs for this team? Well,

2:45:52 >> I didn't really hear the question that

2:45:53 well, but I'm going to say

2:45:54 >> your confidence. Your confidence to make

2:45:55 sure you got

2:45:56 >> for my boys. These guys are the best

2:45:58 teammates on on literally the planet,

2:46:00 and they've got my bag, I got their bag,

2:46:02 and Ty shaved his head, and so you knew

2:46:03 something good was going to happen.

2:46:04 >> I was going to ask, is Ty's head Hey,

2:46:07 Ty. Is Ty's head maybe a good luck draw?

2:46:10 >> Ty.

2:46:10 >> Hey, Ty.

2:46:12 >> Is

2:46:13 >> I mean I mean, I'm not going to say it

2:46:15 was good luck, but it is. I mean, he

2:46:16 looks so handsome, so like, how can you

2:46:18 not feel good? Do we think that this is

2:46:20 a good luck charm? Like, can we keep

2:46:21 this going?

2:46:22 >> Uh, you know, all the hard work and

2:46:24 dedication to this team we put in

2:46:25 throughout this week and the hours we

2:46:26 put in rehearsing and stuff like that.

2:46:28 It wasn't this head that was good luck,

2:46:30 but you know what was this was good

2:46:32 luck? Our heart.

2:46:33 >> Can I rub it? Can I

2:46:35 >> Oh, shoot. Yeah, please rub my head.

2:46:37 >> It feels so soft. All right. Hey, banana

2:46:39 ball backstage question. KJ, I'm going

2:46:41 to pull this up so we make sure that

2:46:43 it's all good with you from

2:46:48 Give me a second. Give me a second. Give

2:46:49 me a second. It's

2:46:50 >> okay.

2:46:51 >> What time do you wake up on game day?

2:46:55 >> I'm an early riser. I like to wake up

2:46:56 super early. I would say I'm probably

2:46:58 usually up by eight or nine every single

2:47:00 day. But I will say my final message to

2:47:02 anyone out there who's struggling with

2:47:03 anything and they're dealing with

2:47:05 something right now. It's mental health

2:47:06 month and I want to say that you're not

2:47:07 alone. I've been struggling with things.

2:47:09 We all struggle with things and my best

2:47:11 friends always got my back. And so I

2:47:12 want to let everyone know, put your

2:47:13 faith in God, have good friends,

2:47:14 surround yourself with the right people

2:47:15 and you'll be all right. Love y'all.

2:47:16 That's why That's why we love KJ. His

2:47:18 sixth showman of the season. Third in

2:47:22 Savannah. The Bananas avoid the sweep of

2:47:25 the clowns. Josh, what a wild weekend

2:47:27 this was.

2:47:31 Pretty crazy stuff there, Michael. Thank

2:47:33 you so much. We welcome you back inside

2:47:35 the broadcast booth. I'm Josh Stfki. The

2:47:38 Bananas 3 to2 victors tonight in their

2:47:40 300th Banana Ball game in franchise

2:47:43 history. be a big win for the boys in

2:47:44 yellow who didn't need to burn sage or

2:47:47 do anything superstitious. They might

2:47:49 have just needed Ty Jackson to shave his

2:47:51 head, channeling his inner Regginald

2:47:53 Horton if you ask me. So, a big win for

2:47:55 the Savannah Bananas getting back on

2:47:58 track here tonight. And hopefully

2:47:59 [music] that will roll into their series

2:48:02 next weekend against the firefighters as

2:48:05 two those two teams will battle in

2:48:07 Lincoln, Nebraska. It should be a really

2:48:09 great series. just the second time the

2:48:11 bananas and firefighters will battle in

2:48:14 2026.

2:48:16 Thank you guys so much for joining us

2:48:18 here tonight on the broadcast for

2:48:20 dealing with us through some technical

2:48:22 difficulties and whatnot. We really

2:48:25 appreciate you guys and your dedication

2:48:26 [music] and love for our sport. For our

2:48:29 talented crew, all the folks in the

2:48:31 control room directed or led by director

2:48:34 [music] Alex Gross, our camera operators

2:48:37 as well, our producer on site, Mr.

2:48:40 Chadwick Folkstead, our executive

2:48:42 producer Josh Richardson,

2:48:44 my friend who could not be [music] with

2:48:46 us tonight or to or yesterday, Mr. Bo

2:48:48 Scalla, who will be back with us next

2:48:50 weekend. [music] I am Josh Tipsky, your

2:48:53 statistical sant. It's been a true honor

2:48:55 being able to be at the helm for

2:48:57 playbyplay over these last two [music]

2:48:59 games. Thank you guys so much for being

2:49:01 with us. Hope to see you next weekend in

2:49:04 Lincoln. Until then, we will see you

2:49:06 later.

2:49:16 Heat. Heat.

2:49:19 [music]

2:49:26 Heat. [music]

2:49:45 Heat. [music]
