9:30 this, there's magic in the air here in
9:32 Banana Land. That rain you're seeing,
9:33 it's already subsided. And the 16 and 16
9:36 Loco Beach Coconuts are ready to host
9:38 the firefighters [music] for a
9:39 three-game stand right here at Dental
9:41 Dayton. Delta Dental Stadium in
9:44 Manchester, New Hampshire. That's how it
9:46 goes. And that's why they call it the
9:47 tooth. I'm AJ Switech. We're already set
9:50 to have ourselves one heck of a time.
9:52 Smiles, they're contagious. And somehow
9:54 I've got this guy grinning. I think it's
9:56 because we're tripping. So, so Zack, the
9:59 firefighters [music] last weekend,
10:00 Lincoln, Nebraska. Historic. It was
10:04 incredible. It was absolutely
10:05 incredible. And by the way, AJ here at
10:07 Delta Dental Stadium, the Novocane still
10:08 wearing off here as he just had his
10:10 dentist visit. But yes, firefighters
10:12 historic weekend in Lincoln, Nebraska,
10:15 sweeping the Savannah Bananas for the
10:16 first time in team existence. But the
10:18 Loco Beach Coconuts have lost just two
10:21 series at all since the Banana Ball
10:23 open. These two teams, they know nothing
10:26 but drama and just two series. That's
10:29 all it's been for Loco Beach. The
10:31 Coconuts are still redot. We're still
10:33 riding the wave. We're spreading love.
10:34 We're spreading joy. And last weekend,
10:36 it started just like that. When in
10:39 Jersey Shore, you've got to enlist the
10:40 likes of Jaywow and the situation to get
10:43 you going. How about it? Last weekend,
10:45 Jersey Shore, New Jersey, the Coconuts.
10:47 Day one, all about defense and pitching.
10:50 It starts with JD Erso on the right side
10:53 of the infield able to clean things up
10:56 for the first trick play of the [music]
10:57 game. It came on the second ball in play
10:58 around the world fashion. Then his
11:00 counterpart at shorts, Al Jacobo, gave
11:02 it to the former party animals and
11:04 secured a trick play. But ninth inning,
11:07 tie ball game. Defense the story until
11:09 Brett Carson had other plans.
11:12 DUAL THREAT. BRETT RIPPED INTO RIGHT.
11:15 It's back [screaming] and gone. What a
11:19 home run. [cheering] Brent Carson. The
11:22 coconuts win it.

11:58 That sums it up. The party animals would
12:00 go on to win games two and game three.
12:02 their first ever win in a series against
12:04 the Coconuts. But really the story
12:06 throughout the weekend, but especially
12:07 day three, was honoring Xavier. Xavier
12:10 strong t-shirts worn by both teams.
12:12 Whether you're wearing pink, you were
12:13 wearing teal, no, everyone's wearing
12:15 royal blue because after Xavier, a
12:17 12-year-old, was struck in the neck by
12:19 an errant throw at baseball practice. He
12:21 was put into cardiac arrest. And his
12:23 family, his team, was scheduled to be at
12:25 this Banana Ball game. They still showed
12:27 up and showed their love for Xavier.
12:29 This is larger than life, and this is
12:30 banana ball. This is what makes this
12:32 sport and this show so wholesome and so
12:34 pure is the fact that two teams come
12:36 together competing against each other as
12:38 many times as the coconuts and party
12:40 animals have to honor somebody in
12:42 something much bigger than themselves.
12:44 Shout out to both of these teams and we
12:46 keep we continue uh to keep our thoughts
12:48 and prayers with Xavier and his family.
12:50 >> We talk about teams playing each other a
12:52 lot. The Coconuts and Party Animals have
12:54 done it more than anybody. There's no
12:55 games on the 2026 World Tour in the
12:57 regular season remaining between these
12:59 two because the Coconuts won seven, the
13:01 Party Animals won five, and the Coconuts
13:04 secured the season series with
13:06 Thursday's win at the Jersey Shore.
13:10 And you know what? This Loco Beach team
13:12 is still the one when you look at it.
13:14 Yes, they lost last weekend, but my
13:16 goodness, these numbers don't even feel
13:18 real. The league's most potent offense
13:19 leads it in hits. They lead it in
13:21 batting average. When you have the most
13:22 hits, you probably also have the most
13:24 doubles and triples. But Zack, that
13:26 bottom line, it's the most important
13:27 thing in Banana Ball. And no one's been
13:29 better than the Coconuts. Points earned.
13:31 123 squarely at the top.
13:33 >> This team is absolutely incredible when
13:34 you put them in pressure situations,
13:36 when you put them in big time moments.
13:38 They just find ways to either get on
13:40 base or score. They're just they're an
13:43 anomaly when it comes with the bats. And
13:45 again, those doubles and triples, when
13:47 you get people on base, those extra base
13:49 hits become even bigger, especially now
13:51 when they're their home team for the
13:53 first series ever against the
13:54 Firefighters.
13:55 >> Talk about being the home team. Many
13:57 unique rules in Banana Ball. The newest
13:58 being the equalizer point. The
14:00 firefighters will go for it tonight. The
14:01 Coconuts try to deny it. But let's learn

16:45 field, but the firefighters were the
16:47 story of the weekend and their biggest
16:49 game in franchise history. Both
16:51 literally and figuratively, the fire in
16:53 flames. They came, they set the table,
16:55 and they ate everything on the plate,
16:57 leaving no crumbs. Lincoln, Nebraska
16:59 will go down as [music] one of the
17:01 greatest moments in the history of the
17:03 firefighters. They won night one at Hey
17:05 Market Park, BUT THEN 85,000 PEOPLE.
17:08 What a scene at Memorial Stadium, home
17:10 of the Nebraska Corn Huskers football
17:12 team. And if you thought that this
17:14 scene, the first time the firefighters
17:15 have ever played in the stadium or in a
17:17 football stadium would get him jittery
17:19 or nervous, you thought wrong. Shown
17:21 [snorts] by Mason Maxwell at first base.
17:23 The man had four trick plays before we
17:26 exited the second inning. And by the
17:29 way, at the time, the record for first
17:32 base trick plays was six, set by Alex
17:34 Ziegler. I think Mason Maxwell had his
17:36 eyes set on that. But we'll return to

17:40 MAXWELL, it's the first ever home RUN IN

19:32 Not an easy feat. His first home run of
19:34 the season since FSU earning you showman
19:37 of the game. so well earned. How do you
19:40 keep that momentum going? I'm going to
19:41 guess that you don't think too much
19:43 about it.
19:44 >> Yeah, you keep going with what's
19:46 working, you know, in the cage, working
19:48 every day. Um, just trying to rally with
19:51 the group together. You know, we got a
19:53 great team out here. Everybody's working
19:55 hard every day. We got some momentum
19:57 going. We're ready to keep it rolling
19:58 into this weekend.
19:59 >> A lot of new guys to Banana Ball on the
20:02 firefighters roster. You've been around,
20:03 you've been on the Bananas, and now
20:05 here. What's your advice to uh get a
20:07 push into the postseason?
20:09 >> Well, when you're playing banana ball,
20:11 you kind of got to think about it as a
20:12 long game, right? We play a couple times
20:14 a week and we play over like a 8 to 10
20:18 month period. So, you got to think about
20:20 taking care of yourself. Um building
20:24 habits that are going to set you up for
20:25 success long term. And I think that's
20:27 what this team's done. I think we're
20:28 going to pay dividends on that uh
20:31 throughout the stretch of the season. We
20:32 got a long way to go still. This game is
20:36 about to start in just a little bit.
20:38 Real quick, what' you do during the rain
20:40 delay to keep you focused?
20:43 >> Played a little chess. Uh sat just
20:46 chilled, talked to the teammates. Uh I
20:50 got to get a snack and just take it easy
20:53 and get ready for what's about to come.

21:22 an absolute unit he's become to be on

21:27 time we saw him against the Loco Beach
21:28 Coconuts in Witchah, he hit a home run
21:30 that changed the complexion of the game.
21:32 And Logan Lacy is a guy over his last 15
21:34 games, is heating up quite nicely, but
21:36 he stayed hot against Loco Beach with
21:39 333 average. [music] By the way, Lamar
21:41 Sparks has been on base every game that
21:43 he's played against the Loco Beach
21:46 Coconuts. AJ Swit, these four, if they
21:49 hit, they're going to be real good.

27:56 Firefighters are right there as well.

28:01 defensively, right? The Firefighters
28:02 just had their best game ever trick
28:04 playwise. 20 trick plays as a team. Tied
28:07 the record for a combined number of
28:09 trick plays with the Savannah Bananas
28:11 inside Memorial Stadium. But these are
28:13 mistakes, especially when you look at
28:15 trick plays missed. Those can lead to
28:16 points. Those can lead to runs that
28:18 indirectly lead to points. You've got to
28:21 capitalize, especially with a wet field
28:22 tonight. Tarp came off just a little bit
28:24 ago. Don't believe that the infield's
28:26 going to be wet, but we'll see how the
28:27 outfield plays. But again, neither of
28:29 these teams are bad teams defensively.
28:31 You just got to make sure mistakes are
28:33 uh at a low when you're playing against
28:35 a red-hot offense and a team that feels
28:37 awful good about themselves in the
28:38 fires.
28:38 >> I'll sum up what Zach said in one
28:40 sentence. Play good defense, just keep
28:42 doing it. Now, we take a look at the
28:44 standings, and in one sentence, I could
28:45 tell you the Coconuts are currently in,
28:47 the firefighters are currently out. That
28:49 could change though this weekend because
28:50 both these teams now really can control
28:52 the way that things go here this weekend
28:55 as they play each other. They could also
28:56 get a little help from the Texas
28:58 Tailgator against the party animals. The
28:59 firefighters could. But again, this is
29:01 why we keep talking about it's early or
29:03 there's a ton of time. Firefighters are
29:05 sitting two games out of this. And even
29:06 if they lose a couple here this weekend,
29:08 tailgator helping out against the party
29:10 animals. There's a lot of there's still
29:12 a lot of wiggle room here in this
29:13 season. The clowns sitting at last
29:15 place. I wouldn't if you're a Clowns
29:16 fan, I wouldn't be too stressed about
29:18 that either. The only team that should
29:19 feel comfortable at this point [music]
29:21 is the one with the X next to their
29:22 name, the Texas Tailgator.
29:23 >> And you don't have to be from Loco Beach
29:24 to understand how a treasure map works.
29:26 X marks the spot for the Tailgator. It
29:28 marks a playoff spot. This is a team
29:30 that won the first ever Banana Ball Open
29:32 all the way back in April and secured a
29:34 spot in October. They haven't looked
29:35 back since. They've been the best team
29:37 in the Banana Ball Championship League
29:38 and that's why they're at top the
29:39 standings. The bananas right at their
29:41 tails and the coconuts in their
29:43 inaugural campaign are looking to
29:45 continue to mount themselves comfortably
29:47 above that red equator line and make
29:49 sure that they get into the dance when
29:51 it matters. Speaking of getting into the
29:52 dance, I'm into this one. Look at it.
29:54 Fan warm-up going on down on the field.
29:56 We're just about 10 minutes from the
29:57 first pitch between the firefighters and
29:59 the Loco Beach Coconuts. And Zack Stton,
30:02 I want to talk about it. We talked about
30:03 this off the air today and it couldn't
30:05 ring more true. These two teams, every
30:08 time they play, it feels like no matter
30:10 what, you're going to a theater show
30:11 because there's a dramatic ending and a
30:14 major twist. We have yet to see a game
30:16 between the Coconuts and Firefighters,
30:18 decided by more than two points.

37:09 phenomenally quickly. what was the
37:11 hardest thing for you with that 10
37:13 stitches that you had in your left index
37:15 finger? He said, "Well, to be honest
37:17 with you, AJ, now cover yours if you
37:19 don't like a poop joke." He said that
37:22 I've my entire life [music] wiped with
37:24 my left hand and I had to get used to
37:25 wiping with my right. So, it's good to
37:27 be back and able to be in the lineup,
37:29 but almost equally as good to be able to
37:31 use the toilet comfortably. Grady Morgan
37:33 out in left field. Another story. He's
37:35 getting a start with Tanner Allen, the
37:37 D8, taking a day off from the glove.
37:39 That's the full defense getting ready to
37:41 wipe down this firefighters lineup and
37:43 protect the hill for the coconut
37:44 cannonballer Drake Fontno. Second
37:46 overall pick in the inaugural Banana
37:48 Ball player draft. This is going to be
37:50 his 11th start and 15th appearance this
37:52 season. He's gone 45 and a third in his
37:55 rookie campaign. The RA is just under
37:57 five minutes per inning. Povers at 4
37:59 minutes and 20 seconds. Drake Fontnau
38:01 has spent all that in a bag of chips as
38:03 he continues to get his feet under him
38:04 on the 2026 tour. Drake Fontnau is a
38:08 tremendous pitcher. There's a reason
38:10 that he was the number two pick in the
38:12 banana ball player draft, but the
38:15 firefighters lineup is one that presents
38:18 problems all over the place, including
38:20 the last couple of weeks to games.
38:23 There's Kaden Peanut Green, best average
38:26 on the firefighters. You see Logan Lacy,
38:28 his last 15 games, 340 average. He's
38:31 been excellent. Armando Betta in the
38:33 eight hole. Watch what he's done the
38:34 last eight games. He's been a problem
38:36 for opposing teams. If they get those
38:38 guys confident, and they are confident
38:40 right now, boy, the firefighters lineup
38:42 is ever dangerous with the middle part
38:44 of the order. Lamar Sparks, Eric Jones
38:46 Jr., and Darien McDow. Those are three
38:49 power hitters you do not want to leave
38:50 anything hanging with. Zack, welcome to

46:39 point. So, if the firefighters can keep
46:41 this either 200 or 2-1, guess what? They
46:43 get a point and we reset it in the

47:07 the open has seen a major major uptick
47:09 in their trick plays. Now 284 on the
47:13 year. This has been a superb last couple
47:15 of weeks for the firefighters,
47:16 particularly the 20 trick plays at
47:19 Memorial Stadium. By far the best
47:21 they've done as a team. Kaden Peanut
47:23 Green 54, but I told you already about
47:25 Mason Maxwell, first year playing first
47:28 base fulltime, 20 games under his belt,
47:30 43 trick plays. He has been masterful.
47:33 [music] You look at the lineup in the
47:34 outfield. Armando Bera, his 26 trick
47:36 plays, nothing to sneeze at. The guy in
47:38 the middle, Austin Temple, looking to
47:42 run the castle tonight. Hey, I thought
47:44 he had a gritty outing in Lincoln,
47:47 Nebraska at Hay Market Park. Over his
47:50 last two starts, five points earned. He
47:53 has been really good at just gritting
47:55 out innings, being able to find ways to
47:57 get strikeouts. 11 over his last two
48:00 weekends. Now, the biggest issue for
48:02 him, making sure you keep guys off the
48:05 bases with those ball four sprints.
48:07 Technical difficulties, technical
48:09 difficulties. We still got Loco Beaches
48:11 lineup. Even with our audio going in and
48:13 out, you still can see how lethal this
48:15 is. So whether you can hear me or not,
48:17 the team's 308 batting average paces the
48:19 Banana Ball Championship League and it's
48:21 led by the top of this order. Dane
48:23 Toofflin 397, Ben Parker 385, Tanner
48:26 Allen sandwiched between them at 380.
48:29 The three do up here in the bottom of
48:30 the first tall tasks for Austin Temple.
48:33 He's got the tallest hair of them all
48:34 and starts his day with a wind and a
48:36 kick. That miss is up and away.
48:38 >> Last time the firefighters and coconuts
48:40 played, Ben Parker led off the game with
48:42 like eight straight balls in backto-back
48:44 contest.
48:45 >> Here he's up there swinging. This one's
48:47 going to take a plunge down in the
48:48 Bermuda Triangle and it's handled
48:51 cleanly by McDow for quick work of Ben
48:53 Parker. One of the tough outs in this
48:54 league getting on base over 51% of the
48:57 time. But there you flip the coin and it
48:59 goes in favor of the firing flames. And
49:01 you look at this. This is the correct
49:02 call just to get the out, right? It's
49:04 tough already to try to get a trick
49:06 play. And I know the Coconuts just put
49:08 up three in that first inning.
49:11 But hey, get the out, protect your two
49:14 nothing lead. Starting the zoning
49:16 against Tanner Allen. Rare time he spits
49:18 on a strike. This guy's up there
49:19 swinging.
49:22 >> 01 with the bases vacant.
49:25 Allen takes low on the big curve ball.
49:35 Allen right back up the heart of the
49:36 defense. It clears Austin Temple and
49:38 gets into center, bringing the tying run
49:40 to the plate. And boy, this is not the
49:42 [music] guy that you want to have to
49:43 face as the tying run. I We really need
49:45 to take a moment to appreciate to
49:47 highlight how unique the dimensions of
49:49 this ballpark are. Dane Toofflin and I
49:50 talked before the game. He's not really
49:52 an opposite side hitter, but he's not
49:54 afraid to adjust the approach when it's
49:56 306 to right field.
49:59 Yeah, that's enticing to say the very
50:01 least as Austin Temple's going to try to
50:02 jam him up inside. Firefighters have had
50:05 some bad luck against Dane Toughlin in
50:06 the past. Remember in Witchah, three
50:08 straight games, the home run,

50:56 deadenated runner here in the state of
50:58 New Hampshire. And it brings the inning
51:00 winning run all of a sudden to the
51:02 plate. Jordan Brewer, the team's leader
51:03 in home runs with six of them.

51:07 Firefighters issue out the most ball for
51:09 sprints as a pitching staff. Coconuts
51:12 have drawn the least as a bunch of
51:14 hitters. So right now, the patient's
51:17 playing off there for [music] the Nuts
51:19 and it hurts the firefighters. They've
51:21 got to find the strike zone.
51:24 Zach, you want to talk about the
51:25 importance of the ball four sprint for
51:26 Loco Beach, the team that has the least
51:28 of them. In games where they have four
51:30 more ball four sprints this year, they
51:31 have an 11 and3 record, four less,
51:34 five-13 record. So really good sign for
51:38 the longevity and potential outlook of
51:41 this game that Loco Beach has already
51:42 drawn the one ball for sprint against
51:44 [music] Austin Temple. And that was a
51:45 ball away from their second.
51:50 Won't come there. Temple gets some help
51:52 from Dalton Cornette
51:54 to move the count to 3-1.

52:46 that shows you the adjustment the
52:48 Coconuts have already made,
52:50 making Austin Temple have to work up in
52:52 the zone. Eric Osberg bolts up from 8 to
52:55 five in the batting. Says that that vest
52:58 look he's doing today is inspired by the

54:20 Gosper proves himself at that point to
54:23 be one of the hardest outs in the
54:24 league. You know, I was talking about
54:26 all four sprints. Their importance was
54:28 just put on full display. Zach, I I've
54:30 touched on it just a little bit, but
54:32 this Coconuts team this year has drawn
54:34 the least ball for sprints, but the
54:36 firefighters have issued the most. So,
54:39 we'll see who that plays in favor of
54:41 through one inning. Obviously, very
54:43 early in the weekend, but clear as day.
54:44 That was a major impact on why the
54:46 Coconuts won inning number one.
54:48 >> Again, I repeat, you cannot give up ball
54:51 four sprints. Can't do it. It's just
54:54 it's part of the reason the firefighters
54:56 have lost a couple of really close
54:58 matchups is because the other team is
55:00 taking advantage of you not find finding
55:02 the zone. Firefighters have got to be
55:04 better on the bump at finding that. They
55:06 were really good at that, especially in
55:09 the football stadium. Only gave up, I
55:11 believe, three total ball force sprints

2:11:59 losing the series. He's got a 320 ERA, a
2:12:02 sub five minutes per inning. And boy oh
2:12:04 boy, the villain here comes looking like
2:12:08 he's going to be asked to get six outs.

2:12:12 this year, but he's pitched 25 and a
2:12:14 third innings, which tells you one
2:12:16 thing. He's not asked to go much longer
2:12:18 than one inning. Now, we have seen Andy

2:12:24 recently for that ninth inning. You
2:12:25 wonder if they test something here, but
2:12:28 this is a guy in CJ Williams when you
2:12:30 look at the trick plays induced. If he
2:12:31 can induce ground balls, Coconuts have
2:12:33 his back. But the firefighters are
2:12:35 coming off a very confident inning.
2:12:40 Bring out the villain. Bring out the
2:12:44 rookie, dawning number zero. Bring out
2:12:47 the meanest pitcher in this league.

2:33:05 team to 18 total trick plays. He added
2:33:08 plenty with his [music] bat. He showed
2:33:10 off the flexibility. And in a world that
2:33:12 needs more positivity, that needs more
2:33:15 love, and needs more joy, Jordan Brewer
2:33:17 every day carries himself in a way where
2:33:19 he tries to spread and make that
2:33:21 positive impact on the lives of those
2:33:23 who come to Banana Land, those who watch
2:33:25 from home. And it is felt all the way
2:33:27 from up here in the booth. [music] That
2:33:29 guy lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps
2:33:32 Loco Beach. And it starts in your heart.
2:33:35 It starts with positivity. And Brewer is
2:33:37 as positive as they [music] come. It
2:33:39 paid off. Jordan Brewer tonight, two for
2:33:40 three, a pair of runs, a two RBI sprint,
2:33:44 four trick plays, and you look at the
2:33:46 box score. It was Loco Beach all night
2:33:48 long. Uh the runs are what really jump
2:33:50 out to me because this game felt a lot
2:33:52 less close than it would have been if it
2:33:53 was traditional baseball.
2:33:54 >> Yeah, like what effort from the
2:33:57 firefighters. Who does that not beat?
2:34:00 Eight runs, 12 hits. Who does that not
2:34:03 beat? It just it just won them the whole
2:34:05 series against the Savannah Bananas.
2:34:07 That just shows you how good the
2:34:08 Coconuts were tonight taking advantage
2:34:10 of some timely ball four sprints and
2:34:12 they were really good laying the lumber
2:34:14 down. Firefighters defense certainly
2:34:16 wasn't perfect, but the Coconuts defense
2:34:18 or offense just took advantage of so
2:34:20 much. You saw how good the defense was
2:34:22 from the rip. Again, this is a
2:34:24 three-game series. You can really sort
2:34:26 of work it back a little bit here if
2:34:27 you're the firefighters, but I think
2:34:30 tonight is a show that this Coconut team
2:34:33 is not a firstear team by mentality.
2:34:35 They are by definition. They are not by
2:34:38 the way they play the game, think the
2:34:39 game, and feel the game. And for the
2:34:41 firefighters, this is not the killer.
2:34:43 You just came off the greatest weekend
2:34:45 ever. Find a way to reload tomorrow and
2:34:47 repeat what you just did offensively. I
2:34:49 don't know why I'm looking at the
2:34:50 screen. The the stats are gone. Repeat
2:34:52 that offensive masterpiece tomorrow and
2:34:54 who knows, you might have a little bit
2:34:56 better luck. There were some unlucky
2:34:57 things that happened, but the co the
2:34:58 Loco Beach Coconuts were tremendous
2:34:59 tonight.
2:35:00 >> Firefighters Nation, I do have some good
2:35:01 news for you. You look just last
2:35:02 weekend. The Coconuts dominated game
2:35:04 one, but the Party Animals went on to
2:35:06 win games two and three. And I'll tell
2:35:07 you what, if the Firefighters bring that
2:35:09 same effort, that same tenacity at the
2:35:11 plate, you would be a fool to count them
2:35:13 out, cuz I just watched what you just
2:35:15 watched. And what we just saw were two
2:35:17 of the league's premier offenses putting
2:35:19 it all on display. The difference was
2:35:21 the defense and the timely pitching from
2:35:23 Loco Beach. But that could change
2:35:25 overnight. So, the Firefighters still
2:35:27 have plenty to hang their hat on, even
2:35:28 amidst a loss.
2:35:29 >> Kayen Green was a home run away from a
2:35:30 cycle. He was a home run away from a
2:35:33 cycle tonight. That's how good he was.
2:35:35 This offense was tremendous. Armano
2:35:37 Bera, that ball has not landed. It's in
2:35:39 Lowden. It's in Concord. It's still not
2:35:41 landed. It's still in New Hampshire. But
2:35:44 the Coconuts offense, tremendous. And
2:35:46 again, you see why that offense is so
2:35:48 potent because every place in that
2:35:50 lineup, 1 to 10, there's not a guarantee
2:35:52 of it. In their inaugural season, the
2:35:54 Coconuts have found a home. It's at Loco
2:35:57 Beach and it's always open 24/7 366. The
2:36:02 coconuts have a plate party and the
