📝 Full transcript (4026 segments)

0:15 This insane catch by MARK SMITH

0:17 >> NO WAY! IT'S MARK SMITH!

0:19 >> was only even possible thanks to

0:22 ketchup. Lots and lots of ketchup. Of

0:26 course, we all know Mark Smith, the

0:28 designated runner.

0:32 But in Tallahassee, we got to meet Mark

0:34 Smith

0:34 >> The designated fielder for the Party

0:37 Animals

0:37 >> So I was like, you know what? Let me try

0:39 to bend these rules a little bit and see

0:40 if I can do a designated runner and a

0:42 designated fielder.

0:43 >> Quick note, and I checked on this.

0:45 Totally legal. Blah, blah. You're in the

0:47 clear. Anyway, Mark was rostered as the

0:49 designated fielder for the game.

0:50 >> I was like, oh, sweet. I'm designated.

0:52 Awesome.

0:52 >> But admittedly, there was no specific

0:54 plan on how or when or even if they'd

0:56 use him. That is, until

0:59 >> Well, one Mr. Brady Keis

1:01 >> Don't put that on me.

1:02 >> ketchup to me

1:03 really good. And the entire bottle of

1:06 ketchup, I believe, got on my body.

1:10 >> And that ketchup? Not coming off.

1:13 >> An interesting screenshot as Fischer

1:17 has come back to the dugout and says,

1:18 "Can I just get a towel, please?"

1:20 >> Fischer was all full of all full of

1:21 ketchup from his walk-up, and he was

1:23 sticky and couldn't do it. Sent Mark out

1:25 there.

1:25 >> Naturally, being just inserted into the

1:27 game, doesn't take long for the ball to

1:29 find him.

1:29 >> I've seen him climb on fences and do all

1:31 that stuff, and I was like, he might

1:32 make this catch.

1:33 >> It's Mark Smith!

1:35 >> I found myself in full sprint on the way

1:37 to the wall,

1:38 in collision course of potentially a

1:40 tarp and/or wall and/or fans. And so,

1:43 uh, the body kind of took over, stuck my

1:45 glove up, closed my eyes, and I came

1:47 down with the ball, which was kind of

1:48 cool.

1:49 >> Yeah, kind of cool.

1:51 >> And Mark Smith

1:52 makes the grab up against the wall

1:55 and ends THE FRAME FOR THE ANIMALS.

2:13 >> The old

2:14 man down in the corner

2:17 slowly turns his head.

2:21 Takes a kid from the whiskey bottle

2:25 and this is

2:26 what he says.

2:33 I was born

2:34 in a rain on A HURRICANE TRAIN

2:37 UNDERNEATH A LOUISIANA MOON.

2:41 DON'T MIND THE STRAIN of a hurricane.

2:44 Everyone around here is used to

2:48 HOT

2:49 WEATHER. SHE'S

2:52 HOT, SHE'S

2:52 COLD, AND SHE'S

2:53 MEAN.

2:56 Nobody's hotter.

2:58 Takes a lot of

2:59 water

2:59 to wash away

3:00 New Orleans.

3:04 This fire is fire.

3:06 I'm going to hire you.

3:10 If you want to put your finger in my way

3:14 just know that you're playing

3:16 with

3:16 fire.

3:17 I want to be back in

3:18 shape now, baby.

3:19 And nothing can be a comic relief.

3:35 I want to be back in shape now,

3:37 baby.

3:43 I want

3:46 I want

3:51 I want

3:54 I want

4:55 >> You would have thanked me later.

4:57 Now break your legs.

4:59 Break your legs.

5:00 Go on, break your legs.

5:02 Break your legs.

5:04 Go on, break your legs.

5:06 Break your legs. Go on,

5:07 break your legs.

5:09 Break your legs.

5:37 Number one, number

5:46 Here I am.

7:19 >> They are going to strut their stuff and

7:21 you are going to decide who twerked it

7:24 out the hardest. At 50 years old, MARK.

7:37 BRIAN.

7:46 >> Last but not least, Charlotte. I'm

7:49 sorry. WOW, SHE'S ALREADY GOING.

7:53 SHE'S OFF.

7:57 CHARLOTTE IS LETTING IT ALL HANG OUT.

8:01 CHARLOTTE, YOU HAVE PROVED HARD WORK

8:04 PAYS OFF.

8:06 >> opportunities in his banana ball career.

8:09 >> Chopper to the left side. Bryson Bloomer

8:11 grabs the trick play and gets it over to

8:13 first just in time. One down.

8:16 >> And just for sport at the hot corner,

8:18 Bloomer just doing that to put on the

8:20 best show possible. Two left to go for

8:22 Dylan Porter.

8:24 >> He's going to the pistol squad.

8:27 And it's right to Aiko, between the

8:29 legs, OVER TO SWAN. YOU BET.

8:32 SIXTH TRICK PLAY OF THE ball game for

8:34 Chosen and the Bananas down to their

8:36 final out.

8:37 >> Chase Aiko has been a star.

8:39 Like a bank.

8:40 >> To the corner AND IT'S HERE.

8:42 >> CHOPPER TO BLOOMER.

8:44 >> BETWEEN THE LEGS. OVER TO FIRST IN TIME.

8:47 THREE TRICK PLAYS IN THE NINTH. THE

8:49 PARTY ANIMALS TAKE DOWN THE BANANAS 3-2

8:52 IN THE FINALE HERE IN THE SUPERDOME.

8:55 >> DYLAN PORTER, WELCOME BACK TO BANANA

8:57 BALL.

9:03 >> I WILL NOT

9:04 MAKE THE SAME

9:06 mistakes that you did.

9:10 When I let myself

9:13 cause my heart

9:15 so much pain.

9:17 I will not break

9:19 away.

9:21 When I fell so hard,

9:24 I've learned the hard

9:25 way

9:26 to never

9:27 let it GET THAT FAR.

9:30 BECAUSE OF YOU,

9:32 I'll never stray

9:34 too far from the

9:36 sidewalk.

9:37 Because of you,

9:39 I'll learn to

9:59 >> All right, Swabby. Kay maker, are you

10:01 ready for the instructions?

10:03 All right, you're going to wait until he

10:05 has his little BTV meeting, right? And

10:08 then you're going to wait until he's

10:09 alone, and then you're going to pounce.

10:12 This will be the last time they leave us

10:15 off the broadcast because if we're not

10:17 crashing, we're crashing out.

10:21 Let me know

10:22 when it's done.

10:23 >> Hey, yeah, big dog. Consider it done.

10:28 Oh, yeah.

10:31 Time to crash the party.

10:37 YEAH.

10:38 WE GOT HIM. WE GOT HIM. WE GOT HIM.

10:42 KEITH, DO YOU KNOW WHO WE GOT HERE?

10:44 >> OH, MAN, what is it from the music park?

10:45 >> No, this is our meal ticket to free

10:47 TROPICAL SMOOTHIES.

10:48 >> OH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH.

10:50 >> LISTEN, DON'T ACT TOUGH, AND NOBODY GETS

10:52 HURT. ALL WE WANT are the tropical

10:54 smoothies.

10:55 >> I'm talking mango, I'm talking

10:57 strawberry, I'm talking orange, I'm

10:58 talking snazzberry.

11:00 >> Capiche?

11:02 >> All right.

11:02 >> All right, all right.

11:06 >> I I I told you guys I'm not AJ.

11:10 >> Likely story. And he's Mike Baba, and

11:13 I'm Jason Swan.

11:14 >> I told you not to act tough.

11:18 >> Just know

11:19 I'm coming at you with everything. I'm

11:21 talking skewers and lemon juice.

11:24 >> Let's get out of here.

11:30 >> And we are live from a land forged in

11:32 beauty, a topography so distinct, so

11:35 specific, existing for millions of years

11:37 as a mecca of color. Red, orange, gold,

11:41 sitting quietly in the confines of an

11:43 ever-moving Pangea.

11:45 Then,

11:46 one day, in tandem with the miracle of

11:49 sentience, a civilization was birthed. A

11:52 civilization

11:54 that took 250 of my dollars at 4:43 a.m.

11:57 Pacific time. Welcome

11:59 to Las Vegas.

12:01 And welcome inside the Rage Cage. I'm

12:04 Drake Toll here to hold your hand or

12:07 your beer alongside AJ Swyteck as the

12:10 six and nine party animals nice pop

12:13 bottles with the seven and nine Loco

12:15 Beach Coconuts for a rubber match at Las

12:17 Vegas Ballpark. Just 24 hours removed

12:20 from the Loco Beach Coconuts logging a

12:23 league record 23 hits in a six-nothing

12:25 blowout. Uh the boys in black and pink

12:28 clubbed away the loss and can still

12:30 oontz oontz their way to a series win,

12:32 but Taylor Allen and the Coconuts

12:33 certainly stand in the way.

12:35 >> It's a rubber match at its finest after

12:37 night one needed showdowns, night two

12:38 wasn't close. Loco Beach league record

12:40 23 hits, 20 runs, six-nothing the final

12:44 score. They won the equalizer point. It

12:46 was nothing but the beach, Drake. You

12:49 fixing your hair?

12:50 >> Nope, I'm showing YOU HIGHLIGHTS OF LAST

12:52 NIGHT'S game in a Ritz bin. It was the

12:54 Firefighters and the Indianapolis Clowns

12:57 taking over CarMax Park, a brand new

12:59 park that these two teams helped

13:01 christen and AJ

13:03 defense

13:04 is fun,

13:06 but the chicks dig the long ball.

13:08 The chicks dig Joe Gray Jr., too. After

13:10 a feature on the Shade Room, he has been

13:12 red hot. JGJ

13:15 started things off with a run for the

13:16 Clowns. Eli Payton at third, for good

13:18 measure, got things going with the trick

13:20 plays and was able to secure an early

13:22 point for Indianapolis, but the Fire and

13:24 Flames bit back with their own. How

13:27 about it from Lamar Sparks sitting over

13:29 300 on the year?

13:31 Big time home run, a blast to left, tied

13:33 the ball game. What did I just tell you

13:35 about the Chicks? They dig the long

13:37 ball.

13:37 >> They dig the long ball. And a guy who's

13:39 been tearing it up in the Banana Ball

13:41 Championship League is one Jackie

13:42 Bradley Jr. But Armando Becerra, the

13:45 former party animal in center field,

13:46 sitting him down and

13:48 A.J. Swatek, please.

13:50 >> I dig chicks.

13:51 >> No, no. The chicks dig the long ball.

13:54 Another walk-off home run for the Fire

13:56 Fighters. Jackie Bradley Jr. miked up.

13:58 The offense for those Fire and Flames

14:00 continues.

14:02 >> It does. You know, if chicks dig the

14:04 long ball, sometimes you need a shovel.

14:06 And Kaden Green was just able to scoop

14:08 one out into the outfield. After the

14:10 Clowns early point, it was nothing but

14:12 Fire Fighters. This team has looked

14:13 entirely different than a season ago.

14:16 It's clear that they've found a winning

14:17 recipe under Val Perez, and last night

14:20 was no different.

14:21 >> Mason Maxwell, right side and through.

14:23 Another walk-off. The Fire Fighters were

14:26 up four points to one going into the

14:28 seventh inning in last night's game. We

14:30 saw a ton of offense here in Las Vegas.

14:32 The Fire Fighters offense was doing

14:33 something quite similar. Their defense

14:35 on point. This was, going into the ninth

14:38 inning, effectively a Banana Ball

14:39 blowout, but still the Clowns within

14:42 striking distance.

14:45 But when it came to the final pitch,

14:47 Johnny Hummel with multicolored hair, I

14:50 I guess he bleached half his head.

14:52 Whatever, still worked. Got the punch

14:53 out and the dub. Game one goes to the

14:56 Fire Fighters. We take a look at the

14:58 showman of the game. It was Armando

15:00 Becerra. The walk-off home run in the

15:02 third got things started. Then the Fire

15:04 Fighters really poured it on. Seven to

15:06 four in the runs. They didn't get banana

15:08 balled. They banana balled the Clowns.

15:11 Had a big win for the Fire Fighters who

15:12 have proved themselves to be the second

15:14 best team, right right around there with

15:16 the Tailgaters in the Banana Ball

15:17 Championship League. But the Coconut's

15:19 looked like number one last night.

15:20 Michael Schwartz is on the field with a

15:22 few of the guys who were raking here in

15:23 Sin City.

15:26 >> Well, guys, the Loco Beach Coconuts had

15:28 23 combined hits last night. That's

15:31 breaking a record for the most by any

15:33 Banana Ball team in history. To relive

15:35 it, let's show the faces. 2 3 3 2 2 home

15:39 run for Mr. Osberg. 1 1 3 2 3.

15:43 That's not Tenner Owens' number. We'll

15:45 get that later. That's how many hits

15:46 they all had. And Ashby Vining, you are

15:49 having a week here in Vegas. Is it

15:51 really the Slurpees that are helping?

15:54 >> Yeah, the slushies are definitely

15:55 helping. You know, I get made fun of

15:57 from some of my teammates ordering,

15:59 you know, strawberry daiquiri

15:59 non-alcoholic. But man, they're working.

16:01 They got to keep them going for sure.

16:03 >> Ben behind the camera, can you show the

16:04 mean mugs of the Loco Beach Coconuts in

16:06 Party Animal pink? That's a little

16:08 rivalry going into today. There's some

16:10 grit. There's some tenseness out there.

16:12 What are we looking at today with such

16:13 talented members of this Loco Beach

16:16 Coconuts team?

16:16 >> Yeah, I think you're looking at a rubber

16:18 match. You know, it's one of the things

16:19 Coach Mark speaks to us about. You know,

16:20 we we hit for a really good average, but

16:22 we got to cash in with runners in

16:23 scoring position. So, if we can come in,

16:25 cash in when it matters, I I I like our

16:26 odds every time.

16:27 >> I'll ask you,

16:29 Osberg wanted to go to sleep last night.

16:31 Win or lose, where's the afterparty

16:33 tonight, the final night in Vegas?

16:35 >> Yeah, it's definitely going to start at

16:36 the Plaza. And I think we're going to

16:37 allow our guy, you know, Shane Victorino

16:39 to hook us up somewhere. Can't say the

16:41 place, but I think he has somewhere

16:42 special for us.

16:42 >> All right, you always need a contact in

16:44 Vegas. If you need one, you just go to

16:45 AJ and he'll hook you up. All right,

16:47 good luck tonight, guys. Back up to you

16:48 in the booth.

16:50 >> Yeah, I'm not sure if the Coconuts need

16:52 any luck, but Michael, your your heart,

16:54 your thoughts are in the right place.

16:56 Last night, he just talked about it. Now

16:59 you're seeing it. Yeah, I mean, you can

17:01 talk about it, but how about showing?

17:03 When things go right, it all poured in

17:05 the direction of the beach. And when

17:07 Kaden Bowlers getting hits on the bowler

17:09 board in the second inning, there's got

17:11 to be something in the air, and it was

17:13 all night long. Ignore the early

17:14 highlights. The Party Animals were shut

17:16 out. It's the first shutout in the

17:18 history of the Coconuts franchise. Also

17:20 came with 23 hits. You want to call it

17:23 death by a million paper cuts? This time

17:25 it was death by 23 of them. The

17:27 Coconuts, 20 runs. And I mean, get this,

17:31 Drake. The first seven innings of this

17:32 game, they scored in every one of them.

17:34 The first six, they scored multiple runs

17:37 in each. And the first four, they scored

17:39 at least three runs in. I It was a

17:41 dominant performance highlighted by Eric

17:43 Asberg's big-time blast. One of five RBI

17:47 on the evening. Banana Ball is a sport

17:49 rooted in baseball, right? And when one

17:51 pitcher is struggling, you put the next

17:53 guy in. And maybe he struggles, but the

17:55 third guy does well, the fourth guy does

17:56 okay. No. Last night for the Party

17:58 Animals, everybody down to Chase Akoff,

18:01 who threw an inning in the sixth,

18:03 everybody

18:04 struggled to figure out the Coconuts.

18:07 They They were all over the black and

18:09 pink. And even when Tanner Thomas hit a

18:10 tank in the sixth inning, his second in

18:13 Las Vegas in his career, nailed the same

18:15 in 2024 and became the king of Sin City,

18:19 it wasn't even close to enough. This

18:21 game was never in doubt. No, it really

18:23 wasn't. Utter domination from the Low Go

18:25 Beach Coconuts. They lead the league in

18:27 hits, and they showed Savannah night

18:29 ago. This is the most potent offense

18:31 when everything's clicking one through

18:32 10. There is not a hole, and Tanner

18:35 Allen is the one who gets his name

18:37 etched in history. You could put it in

18:39 ink. 23 hits for Low Go Beach. And what

18:42 a fitting end, the former Party Animal

18:44 Blake Benson throws it in, and another

18:46 former Party Animal Sal Giaccomo scoops

18:49 it out of the

18:50 >> You can't make this up.

18:51 >> for the final out of the contest. Eric

18:53 Asberg, five ribbies, two ball four

18:56 sprints. He was on base four times in

18:57 the game. Grade A. He's been absolutely

19:01 crushing the Banana Ball since San

19:03 Diego. He's the hottest bat on this

19:05 team, and in his words, the hardest out

19:06 in this league.

19:07 >> I want If we leave the graphic up for a

19:09 second,

19:10 six nothing bad. 20 runs to five,

19:15 bad. 23 to eight in the hits department,

19:19 bad. And trick play six to four, the

19:21 coconuts winning the equalizer point,

19:23 also bad for the party animals. It was a

19:26 colossal fall apart for the black and

19:27 pink, but I do have good news.

19:30 Today's a new day, my friend. Even

19:32 though WE DIDN'T SLEEP, IT IS STILL A

19:34 BRAND new day. The party animals can

19:36 come back to win, but if they're going

19:37 to do it, they have to do it against a

19:38 hometown kid.

19:43 Yes! HOMECOMING FOR DENAE BENITEZ.

19:46 >> You can't make this up. Denae Benitez,

19:48 her first Banana Ball game back here in

19:50 her hometown of Las Vegas, number 222 in

19:54 the top of the second on an 0-2 count

19:57 and a connection.

19:58 >> BENITEZ, LEFT SIDE. DENAE BENITEZ, THAT

20:02 IS A BASE HIT. HER FIRST IN THE BANANA

20:05 BALL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE.

20:07 >> THE LOCO Beach Coconuts going loco.

20:09 >> Hometown of Las Vegas.

20:11 >> And even more meaningful, her father and

20:14 other family members along the first

20:16 baseline watching in the stands.

20:18 >> That's fantastic.

20:20 Um,

20:20 for her to get her first hit here at

20:23 home, in front of hometown fans,

20:26 fantastic. It's awesome.

20:28 >> Denae sat in these seats with her father

20:30 watching games before. And way before

20:32 Las Vegas Ballpark was built, she played

20:34 Little League just a few miles away and

20:36 went to Centennial High School. One of

20:37 the best women baseball players of our

20:39 time receiving the ovation she deserves

20:42 here in her hometown from 10,000 fans

20:45 here at a packed Las Vegas Ballpark on

20:47 Thursday night.

20:48 >> Man, it's it's really special,

20:50 especially to do it in front of people

20:51 that I grew up with. Um, I have a lot of

20:53 people here to support me this weekend,

20:54 so just to have it in my hometown is

20:57 really meaningful.

20:57 >> What's even cooler, the little Denae

20:59 Benitez is watching her. Las Vegas

21:01 Little Leaguers now believing that they

21:04 can do what she's achieving.

21:06 >> Yeah, don't let anybody ever tell you

21:07 can't. And I think that's something that

21:09 that she lives in and when I know that

21:11 every day Denae goes out here, she's

21:12 going to bring joy life and smiles to

21:15 others. But if she passes even just one

21:17 thing to one of those girls, those

21:19 communities get affected by what she's

21:20 done tonight. And it's all real and it's

21:22 all it's all genuine. It's all authentic

21:24 and

21:25 couldn't be more proud to have her on

21:26 our team.

21:27 >> Coconuts head coach Mark Crocco told me

21:29 his daughter has always loved Ashby

21:31 Vining and she still does, but her new

21:33 favorite player Denae Benitez.

21:35 >> My daughter told me at about this time

21:37 yesterday, Denae's the golden batter

21:39 tonight, DADDY.

21:43 AND I SAID, YOU KNOW WHAT? IF THE GAME

21:45 allows that moment to come, I'll know,

21:47 you'll know. And we all knew that she

21:49 was the golden batter last night.

21:50 >> This was the line waiting for Denae's

21:52 autograph after the game on Friday

21:54 night. This girl couldn't wait to meet

21:56 Denae. Her mother told me that's all she

21:58 wanted to do inspired by Benitez's

22:00 performance.

22:05 As fans took pictures with Denae, her

22:07 father taking in the moment, watching it

22:09 all, taking pictures of those moments.

22:12 >> Dreams are coming true. I'm just so

22:13 happy for her.

22:14 >> 222 bringing the beach to you and

22:18 inspiring the next generation along the

22:20 way.

22:23 >> What a homecoming for Denae Benitez.

22:26 First ever hit as a Loco Beach Coconut,

22:29 it couldn't have come in a more fitting

22:31 place. In front of friends and family,

22:32 Benitez continues to make such a large

22:35 and lasting impact on the beach. But the

22:39 beach wouldn't exist without the Banana

22:41 Ball Championship League and what's a

22:43 league without some rules?

22:46 >> Banana Ball is the fastest and most

22:48 entertaining show in sports. And the 11

22:51 rules guarantee the most fans first

22:53 experience every second.

22:59 Rule number one, win the inning, win the

23:01 point. The team that scores the most

23:03 runs in an inning wins the point.

23:05 >> IT'S A WALK-OFF WINNER FOR THE SAVANNAH

23:08 BANANAS HERE.

23:09 >> OH MY GOODNESS.

23:11 >> WITH THE equalizer point, trick plays

23:13 provide the away team an opportunity to

23:15 earn a point going into the final

23:16 inning.

23:17 And in the final inning, every run

23:19 counts as a point.

23:21 Rule number two, Banana Ball has a

23:23 2-hour time limit, guaranteeing that

23:26 every game is fast-paced and

23:28 action-packed.

23:29 Rule number three, no stepping out of

23:31 the batter's box. If you do, it will

23:33 result in a strike.

23:34 >> Max stepped out of the box, and because

23:36 he stepped out of the box, that's it.

23:38 >> Rule number four, no bunting, cuz

23:41 bunting sucks. If you bunt, you'll be

23:43 thrown out of the game. Rule number

23:45 five, batters can steal first base.

23:48 >> BALL THREE, GIDEON TAKING OFF FOR FIRST,

23:49 THROW FROM LEROY,

23:51 IN TIME.

23:52 >> Rule number six, there's no walks. Walks

23:56 are ball four sprints. The batter can

23:58 advance as far as they want until every

24:00 position player touches the ball.

24:02 >> NO DEFENDERS HAVE TOUCHED THE BANANA

24:04 BALL. IT IS A FOUR-BASE SPRINT TO OPEN

24:07 up the ball game.

24:08 >> Rule number seven,

24:10 no mound visits.

24:12 Nope.

24:13 Rule number eight, foul balls caught by

24:15 a fan count as an out.

24:23 Rule number nine, the showdowns. In

24:26 showdowns, the best of the best face off

24:28 in the biggest moment. One hitter versus

24:31 one pitcher with one fielder behind him,

24:33 and the hitter has to score.

24:40 Rule number 10, the Banana Ball

24:41 Challenge Rule gives the coaches and

24:44 you, the fans, a chance to impact a call

24:46 on the field.

24:48 Rule number 11, the Golden Batter. Once

24:51 a game, each team can give any player an

24:53 at-bat, regardless of the lineup. This

24:55 offers the biggest matchups on the

24:57 biggest stage.

24:58 >> Big on big.

25:00 >> It's gone!

25:02 It's gone!

25:03 It's gone! Get out of here, ball!

25:06 THAT THING HAD A

25:08 FAMILY!

25:09 >> And those are the rules of Banana Ball.

25:19 >> The 11 distinct rules of Banana Ball

25:23 didn't need a lot of them last night. It

25:25 was just all Loco Beach Coconuts.

25:27 Flipping to today.

25:30 The rubber match. The Party Animals' key

25:33 to success. Ain't ever had a hangover.

25:37 You don't even You don't even just shake

25:38 off last night.

25:42 The aftermath of a loss like that for a

25:45 baseball team or a Banana Ball team is

25:48 recollecting, hanging out with the boys,

25:50 having a couple of brews, showed up to

25:52 the ballpark the next day to get the job

25:53 done, knowing it's just one loss, no

25:55 matter how the loss came. You're deeper,

25:58 you're stronger. The Animals have way

26:00 more experience in this sport than the

26:03 newer teams of the Banana Ball

26:04 Championship League. Lean on that and

26:07 treat today as a brand new day, even

26:09 though

26:10 none of us slept last night. Yeah,

26:12 hangovers are for the weak, right? For

26:14 Loco Beach, continue to do what's

26:16 working. That's raking and that's riding

26:18 the wave. Don't get too high, don't get

26:20 too low. Bring the momentum into today.

26:22 Let's see the way in down on the field.

26:25 Uh-oh.

26:26 Is that Coco?

26:28 >> Introducing first,

26:30 representing the Loco Beach Coconuts,

26:34 standing at a towering 4 ft 9 in,

26:40 the pride of Loco Beach, COCO

26:45 THE COCONUT!

27:02 >> UH COCO, this

27:04 It just said 6' 7".

27:08 6' 7" what?

27:11 What does it mean?

27:13 Great, thanks for clearing that up.

27:14 Appreciate it.

27:16 And their opponent,

27:19 representing the Party Animals,

27:23 his farts smell like cupcakes.

27:27 He is the gassiest mascot in sports. He

27:32 is the Party Animal.

27:36 It's Party!

27:50 Party official weight, 400

27:54 cupcakes.

27:57 Uh excuse me, correction.

28:01 399

28:03 cupcakes.

28:07 Please to the very center.

28:10 And face off.

28:12 3 2 1 go!

28:36 Let's have a good clean show.

28:57 >> All right, Las Vegas. The cast is ready.

29:01 The players are ready. And now it's time

29:04 for you, the fans, to get ready. So, we

29:06 need everyone who is able to get up out

29:10 of your seats, on your feet, and please

29:13 help me welcome tonight's fan and

29:15 warm-up leader, 7-year-old Kaylee.

29:22 All right, Kaylee. Here's how it's going

29:23 to work. Whatever you do, this whole

29:27 sold-out stadium is going to do. Are you

29:30 ready?

29:32 TRY THAT AGAIN. ARE YOU READY?

29:35 There we go.

29:38 Starting with some claps.

29:45 Oh, jumping jacks.

29:52 Disco eyes. Okay, who taught you this?

29:58 Scuba. I knew this was coming.

30:05 Okay.

30:07 We got some flare over here.

30:10 More jumping jacks. What are we doing?

30:17 And some more claps. Kaylee, this whole

30:20 stadium is cheering for you.

30:24 GIVE IT UP ONE MORE TIME FOR YOUR fan

30:26 warm-up leader, 7-year-old Kaylee.

30:52 >> Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, and

30:56 partiers from around the world. Tonight,

30:59 you and thousands of your friends here

31:01 live, and thousands more watching at

31:03 home, have gathered here to witness

31:05 something beyond your wildest

31:08 imaginations. From Sixth Street to

31:10 Bourbon Street, from Tampa Bay to

31:12 Broadway, party people come from across

31:15 the globe to witness

31:17 this.

31:18 This is not baseball. This is the Rage

31:22 Cage, where the wildest, craziest,

31:26 sexiest players step into the garden.

31:29 This is a game of the fans, by the fans,

31:32 and for the fans. But, this is not your

31:35 granddad's pastime. This is not just

31:37 another night at the ballpark. This game

31:40 is baseball by birth, Fruit by name, AND

31:43 AN ABSOLUTE WORLDWIDE phenomenon by the

31:46 grace of God. Featuring Lil Jon.

31:49 >> Yeah!

31:52 >> This is the time for this sold-out crowd

31:56 here in Las Vegas, Nevada, to get on

31:58 your feet and give

32:01 me your voices.

32:09 Because this

32:10 is the greatest party in sports. Ladies

32:14 and gentlemen, this is Banana

32:20 Ball.

32:39 >> Now play it's time to meet the starting

32:41 lineup for THE PARTY

32:43 ANIMALS.

32:48 COMING FROM SECTION 211, behind home

32:50 plate, the center fielder, number six,

32:53 Heri

32:54 Kempton.

33:04 Yeah, man. From the party deck on the

33:06 first base side, the third baseman,

33:08 number 407, MIKE

33:11 PALER.

33:19 OUT IN the right field fair, the extra

33:22 hitter,

33:23 F

33:24 Jakes

33:26 Gow.

33:34 Out in front of the pool deck in right

33:36 center field, the right fielder, number

33:39 three,

33:40 D.J.

33:41 Reed.

33:48 Out in the seats in left field, the

33:51 first baseman, number two, Jason

33:56 Swat.

34:05 Coming from down the left field line,

34:07 the shortstop, number 11, Chase

34:12 Ecup.

34:22 At top of the third base dugout, the

34:25 second baseman, number one,

34:28 Ashton

34:30 Lester.

34:39 He's also on top of the third base

34:40 dugout, the designated hitter, number

34:43 four, Tanner

34:46 Kennedy

34:47 Talbert.

34:54 He's on top of the first base dugout,

34:56 the catcher, number 41, HOLLYWOOD

35:00 BRONSON

35:02 BALL HALL.

35:11 HE'S ALSO on top of the first base

35:12 dugout, the center left fielder, number

35:15 12, Stuart

35:18 Fairchild.

35:30 Coming from the first base dugout,

35:33 tonight's starting pitcher,

35:37 number 10,

35:39 Eric

35:42 Hilton.

35:48 The head coach of the Party Animals is

35:50 Mike Bababavaces.

35:52 He's assisted by Thomas Sim Shady

35:54 Simonau and Anthony

35:56 How You Doin' Carmado.

36:10 >> Ladies and gentlemen, at this time,

36:12 we ask that you please

36:14 rise and remove your caps.

36:15 Remove your caps and join us in honoring

36:17 America with the singing of tonight's

36:19 national anthem.

36:21 Please welcome to the field tonight's

36:23 starting catcher, Hollywood Bronson Ball

36:26 Hall.

36:31 >> Oh say can you see

36:36 by the dawn's early light,

36:41 what so proudly we hailed

36:45 at the twilight's

36:48 last gleaming, whose broad stripes and

36:52 bright stars

36:55 through the perilous

36:58 fight,

36:59 or the ramparts

37:02 we watched

37:04 were so gallantly

37:07 streaming,

37:09 and the rockets' red glare,

37:13 the bombs bursting in air,

37:18 gave proof through the night

37:22 that our flag was still there. Oh say

37:28 does that star-spangled

37:32 banner

37:34 yet wave

37:39 o'er the land

37:41 of the free

37:47 and the home

37:49 of the brave?

37:55 >> Las Vegas, stay standing.

38:11 >> To exist

38:13 is a mathematical miracle.

38:17 You are the result

38:19 of an unbroken lineage

38:22 stretching back billions of years,

38:25 surviving ice ages and predators and the

38:27 sheer caprice of fate.

38:31 The odds of your specific genetic code

38:34 coming into focus

38:36 amidst this chaos are almost zero, but

38:39 here you are.

38:41 In the middle

38:42 of history.

38:44 The greatest party in sports has TAKEN

38:46 OVER THE ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL OF the

38:49 world. Welcome to Las Vegas.

38:52 >> Hey, let's take a moment also to

38:54 appreciate that performance from Rony.

38:56 Incredible.

38:59 He is my friend.

39:01 Let's introduce you to the Party Animals

39:03 defense. Here's how they will line up in

39:05 tonight's ball game led by Chase Akuff.

39:07 He is the trick play leader.

39:11 And he has been chosen, that is, a

39:13 stalwart for this team,

39:16 uh the epitome of leadership, a guy who

39:18 pitched last night during the Animals

39:20 pit falls on the mound. You lean on a

39:23 guy like that after a tough loss 24

39:25 hours later. I've got my eyes on the

39:27 designated fielder John Howard Bobo.

39:29 Expect to see him in right field for the

39:31 majority of this game in place of T.J.

39:33 Reeves. And how about Ashton Lansdell

39:34 getting the start at second? That's a

39:36 sharp middle infield between her and

39:38 Chase Akuff, and they're looking to

39:40 defend the bump of Brett Helton who we

39:42 have miked up for this start.

39:46 Brett Helton

39:47 and Austin Crisman.

39:49 The two men on the mound this evening in

39:52 Las Vegas.

39:53 Helton, the Greek god of MPI, he's been

39:55 far and away the best pitcher on the

39:57 roster for the Party Animals this year.

39:59 He's in a pivotal spot starting this

40:01 game. That MPI of 433 is minutes per

40:04 inning. He works quickly and he's

40:07 effective. He's what you need in a

40:09 Banana Ball pitcher against Austin

40:11 Crisman.

40:13 Brett Helton's got his hands full. He's

40:14 got to face a lineup that set the Banana

40:16 Ball record with 23 hits in last night's

40:19 game and the averages speak for

40:20 themselves. One through seven

40:23 unstoppable. TA Tofflin, Osberg the

40:27 three two up against Helton here to get

40:29 the game going. Eric Osberg vaults all

40:31 the way from the six spot to the three

40:33 spot of the order. He extended his on

40:34 base streak to 11 games last night. The

40:37 showman of the game had five RBI. He's

40:40 been absolutely mashing, but he's got a

40:41 tough task on his hands because as you

40:43 said, no one has looked more consistent

40:46 than Brett Helton.

40:48 >> It is time to start the party. The

40:50 official host of the Party Animals, AJ

40:52 Kirsch in front of 12,000 here in Vegas.

40:54 >> Hello AJ Kirsch. I THINK THIS CROWD IS

40:58 READY TO START this party. What do you

41:00 think, brother?

41:01 >> I think Vegas has never looked more

41:03 ready. Las Vegas, the moment you have

41:06 been waiting for has arrived. It is time

41:09 to kick off the greatest party in

41:12 sports. We're going to count it down and

41:15 instead of zero, I need each and every

41:18 one of you to yell, "Start the party."

41:21 And we're going to start that patented

41:23 Banana Ball 2-hour time limit clock.

41:26 Here we go.

41:29 Three, two, ONE.

41:34 SHOWTIME!

41:42 >> Coming down the aisle

41:46 weighing 230 lb

41:49 hailing from Colorado Springs, Colorado

41:54 tonight's starting pitcher

41:57 Brett

42:01 Helton!

43:13 >> Speechless.

43:15 What a masterpiece, what a work of art

43:18 from number 10. You wouldn't know it,

43:20 but he is number 10. Brett Helton, the

43:22 starting pitcher in tonight's game.

43:26 6'3", 215 lb righty

43:31 from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

43:36 But, you already know that.

43:43 My best friend in the world, Brett

43:45 Helton.

43:46 >> What up, guys? Can you hear me?

43:48 >> Oh, yes.

43:48 >> Loud and clear.

43:49 >> Mic'd up on the broadcast.

43:52 What the hell was that?

43:54 >> Well,

43:55 I knew I had to hear the music, so I

43:57 couldn't have my ears in before.

44:00 But, here we go, baby. That was a

44:01 tribute to our

44:03 Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid.

44:05 THERE'S A STRIKE.

44:09 HERE WE GO.

44:10 >> BRETT Taylor Allen, Theodore Alabama,

44:12 national player of the year in college

44:13 baseball, college World Series champion

44:15 2021, SEC Player of the Year.

44:17 >> That's pretty cool.

44:19 GIVE IT TO ME. That's a little low. Come

44:21 on, baby.

44:22 Hey, you should see on the mound right

44:23 here. Someone wrote on it. They said

44:25 Helton stinks.

44:28 And I don't like that.

44:29 >> Wrong.

44:30 >> Or appreciate it.

44:34 There's a strike.

44:34 >> Two one.

44:36 >> Here we go. Got to be a strike. Probably

44:37 throw heater here.

44:39 There it is. Here we go.

44:40 Dang.

44:41 Oh, yeah.

44:42 >> The fans have an opportunity for an out

44:44 here. Can they catch it cleanly?

44:46 No.

44:47 >> No.

44:49 >> Bring your glove.

44:50 >> Two two. He's only seen heater.

44:52 Should I just keep going heaters till he

44:53 puts one in play?

44:54 >> Yes.

44:54 >> All right. Fake shake, fake shake.

44:56 Heater. Here we go.

44:58 Dang.

44:59 Here we go. I mean, that's five in a

45:01 row.

45:01 >> Uh I'm going off speed here.

45:04 >> You want to?

45:04 >> Uh look, here's the deal. 72 plate

45:06 appearances, nine strike outs. That's

45:09 not great. I don't know if he's going to

45:10 swing and miss.

45:11 >> True.

45:12 Ronnie wants heater. I kind of like it.

45:14 >> Okay. Okay.

45:15 >> Let's go six in a row.

45:17 Dang.

45:18 >> I like that spot, though.

45:19 >> Pretty good take away.

45:20 >> Let's go heater in.

45:22 >> All right. I like that with two strikes.

45:23 >> Yep.

45:24 >> Three two, though. He's probably going

45:25 to be on time. He's seen a ton of

45:26 heaters.

45:27 So, this can't look too good.

45:30 But, it still needs to be a really good

45:31 pitch so he swings at it.

45:32 Dang.

45:33 Here we go.

45:34 >> Yep. He knew heater was coming. Couldn't

45:35 do anything about it. Tanner Allen pops

45:37 up. Ashton Lansdell's called off by

45:39 Jason Swan who popped it up to nobody.

45:42 TRICK PLAY MISSED. THREE BAGS FOR Tanner

45:45 Allen.

45:47 That's why they teach you to hustle.

45:49 Sprinting out of the box, TA gets 270 ft

45:53 of real estate on a trick play missed.

45:56 Brett, you got the result you were

45:57 looking for on the mound.

45:58 >> Yeah. With three two, I just got to make

46:00 sure he moves the bat and no walks Don't

46:02 give up on it, you know?

46:03 >> Yeah. And I don't hate the first trick

46:05 play like that.

46:06 >> We're going to have the infield in, so

46:07 I'm hoping I just steal a strike here

46:08 with a slow curveball.

46:09 >> Yep.

46:10 >> Just hoping he doesn't swing at it.

46:12 He swung at it, BUT IT'S FOUL.

46:14 >> OH, NO.

46:15 >> IT'S REALLY FOUL.

46:17 >> FOUL.

46:18 >> But

46:18 >> Wow.

46:18 >> the cool thing about that

46:20 >> Yep.

46:20 >> is all I wanted was a strike. So, it

46:21 doesn't really matter what it looks

46:22 like.

46:23 >> well, you got it. It's Yes, that is

46:25 accomplished, achieved.

46:26 >> going to

46:27 I'm going to quick pitch a heater here.

46:32 >> Good.

46:33 >> Laid on it.

46:34 >> Okay.

46:34 >> Now, technically, I can probably throw

46:36 anything I want.

46:36 >> Can we go out of the zone here, though?

46:38 >> I'm going to, for sure, cuz a punchout's

46:40 big here.

46:41 So, whatever Bronny wants, I'm going to

46:42 try and

46:43 Yeah, he's going slider out. I'm

46:45 definitely going to do that.

46:45 >> Ooh, okay.

46:46 >> I'm probably going to go mostly away

46:47 rather than down.

46:49 But

46:50 Oh, no, that was really bad.

46:53 That was all my fault.

46:54 >> Slider in the zone.

46:55 >> Slider exactly where you don't want it

46:57 to be.

46:58 >> What's going on in the outfield? Didn't

47:00 we correct all of this last night? Are

47:02 we doing Are we doing last night again?

47:04 >> There's a chance we're just getting

47:06 getting the stuff out right now.

47:07 >> Yeah, okay.

47:08 >> okay.

47:10 Cuz if it's going to happen, might as

47:10 well do it early when it's all right.

47:13 So, we got no outs.

47:14 >> Very unprofessional at the plate. How do

47:17 you attack that bat against a guy like

47:18 Eric Asberg?

47:19 >> Well, we need outs, so

47:21 >> Yes.

47:21 >> I'm going first pitch changeup here,

47:23 hoping he takes it.

47:26 There we go.

47:27 See, that was the first of my three

47:28 different changeups.

47:29 >> Is that a strike?

47:30 >> That was a strike.

47:31 >> Yep. So, now I can kind of go whatever.

47:32 >> He wants a fastball. I like it.

47:35 >> Quick pitch him.

47:37 >> Good.

47:38 >> Fans could do it.

47:40 >> Is he there? No room.

47:42 Maybe a fan, though.

47:43 >> Yo, not today.

47:44 >> Pretty glove.

47:46 >> Not today. Okay.

47:48 O2.

47:49 Once again, I can throw everything.

47:51 And a punchout's big.

47:53 So, this time I'm actually going to try

47:54 and leave the zone instead of just throw

47:56 it right down the middle. Troop.

47:58 >> Heart rate back down from the walk-up,

47:59 by the way.

48:00 >> Yeah, it's good. Did a little

48:03 little craziness there.

48:05 Double change-up. I'm going to go really

48:06 slow and really down.

48:09 >> Oh.

48:10 >> It's yours. Trick play.

48:12 >> Ay, ay, ay.

48:14 >> Just getting out. Getting that out feels

48:15 good.

48:16 >> I could have trick played, but I needed

48:17 to look him back cuz I didn't really

48:18 didn't want to give up third there.

48:19 >> Yep, absolutely.

48:20 >> now we're still in a decent shot to keep

48:22 that guy

48:23 from scoring.

48:24 But another big out. He doesn't strike

48:26 out very much.

48:27 He's been really good on my off-speed

48:29 late.

48:29 >> Brewer?

48:30 >> Yeah. So, I'm going to try and get

48:32 ahead.

48:33 I'm throwing cutter first.

48:35 I'm going to try and get ahead and throw

48:36 fastballs late.

48:38 Here we go.

48:38 >> Great pitch.

48:40 >> I mean

48:41 I can just do that again.

48:43 >> He's got 20 ribbies in his 16 games.

48:45 Dangerous.

48:46 >> Quick push heater again?

48:49 Kind of a waste, but hey, we're fine.

48:51 I'm going to go back cutter now cuz I

48:52 threw it for a good pitch.

48:54 Waste fastball. Back to cutter.

49:00 Here it is, cutter.

49:04 And we got a guy. Get there, please.

49:06 >> Bobo.

49:06 >> Yes.

49:08 Kept my third. Beautiful job, baby. Good

49:10 job.

49:10 >> Question for you.

49:11 >> Yes.

49:11 >> Uh by the way, Jason Swan will make up

49:13 for that trick play miss later on when

49:14 he hits the ball many, many times. Uh

49:17 John Howard Bobo on on the topic of

49:18 defense, what a guy to plug in. Not only

49:21 can he rap, entertainment player, great

49:23 fielder.

49:24 >> He's been so good out there. He's such a

49:26 good outfielder, naturally, too.

49:27 >> Yeah.

49:28 >> love seeing him out there. He's pretty

49:28 fast. That's why I love him in the

49:30 showdowns. We're going cutter. Landsdell

49:32 wants it. Nope.

49:35 >> Vining, take off. Trick play

49:36 opportunity. Between the legs. Only one

49:38 comes across for Loco Beach. The damage

49:40 could have been much worse. Brett

49:42 Helton, thank you for the tequila last

49:44 night.

49:44 >> Let's go.

49:45 >> our best friend. I love and miss you.

49:46 >> Thanks, guys.

49:47 >> What I'm talking about. Good job, baby.

49:48 >> Good buddy.

49:49 >> Bronson Ballgame likes it as well.

49:51 But Loco Beach did strike for one. They

49:53 have the lead here in the first inning.

49:55 >> I've got my eyes on this side of the

49:56 field. Armani Henderson and Shane

49:58 Victorino having an animated

50:00 conversation down the third baseline.

50:02 And this is what I like to see from the

50:03 Primetime coach. Victorino has stepped

50:05 in and made an immediate impact on this

50:07 defensive group as well as the guys on

50:10 the bases. Armani Henderson's making his

50:11 debut as a designated fielder today.

50:14 Victorino and Crocco said to wait for

50:16 later in the game when that may play a

50:18 factor. But for now, early in the game,

50:21 the big story today for Loco Beach is

50:22 late in the last night's game. Ben

50:24 Parker fouled the ball off of his own

50:26 knee. He was scratched from the lineup

50:27 today with an injury. So, it's Tanner

50:29 Allen's debut in center field, Grady

50:31 Morgan's debut in left. Danny Benitez

50:34 listed as the second baseman, but Sal

50:37 Giacobbo is playing there.

50:39 >> Expectation is Parker should be back

50:41 soon. Talked to him today. And athletic

50:44 training said, "Hey, we're we're for

50:45 extreme caution."

50:47 He's still got a bit of a limp.

50:50 We'll give him the night off. Hopefully

50:51 next weekend he's back in action.

50:53 Starting pitcher, Austin Kriszenski, the

50:55 former Savannah Banana turned Loco Beach

50:57 Coconut.

50:58 He's got

51:01 his Rick Vaughn glasses on.

51:05 >> Who's that?

51:06 >> Yep.

51:09 Nice. Austin Kriszenski one and two on

51:11 the year. 14 and 2/3 innings of work.

51:14 Hovering just around five minutes per

51:17 inning. The ERA more inflated than he'd

51:19 like, especially after

51:22 he went July

51:24 to the end of the year without giving up

51:25 an earned run a season ago. Now he's got

51:27 to face a lineup that is ready to pounce

51:29 on the former Banana.

51:31 Led by Reese Hampton, the Party Animals.

51:36 They could only need Hampton and

51:37 Ballard. It's the sport of Banana Ball

51:39 where every inning counts as a point.

51:41 A bloop from Hampton, a blast from

51:43 Ballard, and the inning would be over.

51:44 One to zero, the Animals lead it. That's

51:47 ideal.

51:50 Out of the three hole of the contest,

51:52 JAKE OH,

51:53 NO!

51:56 THAT BALL WAS RIGHT OFF THE HOOD

51:58 of a car in the parking lot. It's got

52:01 white Nissan Maxima, Arkansas plates.

52:06 Woah!

52:08 Nothing doing for the fans. Reese

52:10 Hampton, early action

52:13 for the vehicles outside.

52:17 I cannot believe that.

52:20 It's You saw You saw that.

52:26 Ricky Vaughn, man. Rick Vaughn, it's the

52:28 greatest baseball movie of all time, and

52:30 you don't even know the reference.

52:31 Hampton

52:32 well struck to right. It's well foul.

52:39 Glad that one found concrete. That was a

52:41 heat-seeking missile out there.

52:46 Hampton, a great take.

52:55 Reese

52:57 That's the right call.

52:59 Foul by a foot.

53:02 Barely couldn't tightrope walk that

53:03 line. Good pull side power. Hampton

53:06 showing it twice now, just barely foul.

53:09 Hampton

53:10 former Detroit Tigers minor leaguer

53:14 12th rounder

53:16 at the Loco Beach Coconut's

53:19 are yelling at um home plate umpire Trey

53:21 Hudson saying, "You almost called that

53:23 strike three."

53:26 And he did as Jordan Brewer goes trick

53:27 play, completes it. Hudson has a very

53:30 consistent clinch up on his strike three

53:33 call. The Coconut's saw it, and they

53:36 chirped him saying, "You wanted to call

53:37 it. You wanted to call it."

53:39 Works out in the end for Krzeminski

53:40 either way. It's a ground out, a trick

53:42 play, and one down as Hampton goes back

53:44 to the dugout.

53:45 >> That's what the Coconut's arms are going

53:47 to see tonight are hoping for all

53:49 evening long is pitching to contact and

53:51 letting their defense win the trick play

53:53 war. Austin Krisminiski and Andy Archer,

53:55 the two set to tow the rubber early in

53:57 this one for Loco Beach are the kings of

53:59 inducing contact to their infield.

54:02 >> Mikey Ballard, the rookie.

54:07 Former college teammate at Eckerd with

54:09 Chase Akop. Akop helped bring him into

54:11 the Banana Ball the Party Animals

54:12 grabbed him in the Banana Ball

54:14 Championship League draft.

54:17 And with a

54:21 slash line, it's worked out well.

54:27 All right.

54:30 >> Big swing and a miss. Austin Krisminiski

54:32 not typically a strikeout pitcher.

54:35 Really good at filling the zone, but

54:36 when he gets ahead, he's able to bring a

54:37 pitch like that out of his back pocket.

54:39 From 12 to 6 on the clock and a sea lion

54:42 for good measure.

54:45 >> I think he was saying, "Look at my

54:46 ribs."

54:47 >> Oh.

54:49 Behold.

54:51 Jake Skull.

54:53 The number 15 overall draft pick in the

54:55 2010 Major League Baseball draft of the

54:57 Texas Rangers.

55:00 Last year's MVP in Banana Ball.

55:03 He's as dangerous as they get at the

55:05 plate.

55:21 Both these guys from Roswell, Georgia.

55:26 Little hometown on hometown.

55:30 1,700 miles away.

55:40 >> Back-to-back punch outs for Austin Chris

55:42 Minsky.

55:43 Check out the ribs and the movement

55:46 that the Coconuts game three starter's

55:48 got in his back pocket. Went right back

55:51 to the 12-6. Again, the bottom of the

55:54 clock. Able to sit down the former MVP.

55:56 He's already had himself a series. One

55:58 of the toughest outs in this league.

56:00 Chris Minsky made it look routine. Three

56:02 up, three down. Coconuts on top one

56:04 nothing.

56:06 >> Let's take a live look. Wait, wait,

56:08 wait. Not yet. Oh, woah, woah, woah.

56:10 Fair warning to all of those who want to

56:13 watch the Bananas and Tailgaters game

56:15 back later. We are about to show you the

56:18 Bananas and Tailgaters game in five,

56:21 four, three, two. It is a live look in

56:25 College Station, Texas. 102,000

56:28 people on hand and the Tailgaters could

56:31 close out their second win of the

56:33 weekend against the Savannah Bananas.

56:34 Complete a sweep out in Texas, but the

56:37 Savannah Bananas

56:38 are well within striking distance to tie

56:41 point at the plate with Dan Oberst.

56:42 That's

56:43 That's electric, man. That's what banana

56:45 ball is. The Tailgaters are incredibly

56:47 hot right now after their banana ball

56:49 open victory and winning against the

56:51 Bananas on Thursday in Navasota at a

56:53 high school.

56:55 And now

56:56 the Bananas who've been getting shelled

56:58 all game

57:00 could have

57:03 No.

57:05 Zack Watson is there.

57:06 But could still make things interesting

57:08 down by two with one out in the ninth.

57:11 Yeah. Wait a second. WE HAVE OUR GAME.

57:13 IT'S It's our game time. It's Party

57:15 Animals.

57:16 And it's the Loco Beach Coconuts. Brett

57:18 Helton back out for a second inning of

57:20 work.

57:22 One run came across for the Coconuts in

57:23 the first unearned thanks to a trick

57:25 play missed.

57:27 Giddy Antle has been playing out of his

57:28 mind. 377 batting average. That's good

57:31 for 20 hits, nine runs.

57:34 Debuted in the 10th spot, found a home

57:36 there, but he's been playing so well,

57:37 it's impossible to keep a guy like that

57:39 at the bottom of the order.

57:41 Antle swings out of his shoes.

57:45 Yep, two for two last night with a

57:46 couple of ball four sprints to boot.

57:51 Antle.

57:52 This is a trick play opportunity for

57:54 Reese Hampton. Loves to go BEHIND THE

57:55 BACK. DOES GO BEHIND THE BACK, BUT HE

57:58 BOOTS IT.

57:59 Two bags for Gideon Antle. Another trick

58:02 play missed for the Animals and

58:04 back-to-back innings for Brett Helton

58:05 where he induces the kind of contact

58:07 he's looking for to start the frame, but

58:09 his defense can't help him out. That's

58:11 one we're used to seeing Reese Hampton

58:12 make. He's already secured three

58:14 behind-the-back catches in this series,

58:16 but tonight he has his first trick play

58:18 missed.

58:21 Grady Morgan.

58:25 First pitch swinging.

58:28 Morgan part of that Coconut's onslaught

58:29 last night, two for four, a triple and a

58:32 couple of RBI.

58:34 I rubbed his head this morning and it

58:35 told me to expect more of the same.

58:51 Morgan might be an everyday guy on four

58:53 or five lineups in Banana Ball.

58:57 He's played in 11 of the Logo Beaches'

58:59 16

59:02 because of how deep

59:04 these bats are.

59:09 Jason Swan at first base, bounced to

59:10 himself.

59:12 Collects it for a trick play.

59:16 One down, but a man at third base.

59:18 Gets an ovation from Shane Victorino and

59:20 company on the other side, understanding

59:23 the importance of the early trick play

59:26 battle because we've seen now on

59:27 back-to-back nights in this series one

59:29 team gets ahead and the other kind of

59:31 throws in the towel. If you can get

59:33 things out of reach, it makes things

59:35 really interesting for that new

59:37 equalizer point here in 2026.

59:40 Shot Tonye off the roof.

59:43 Payton Shot Tonye, a national champion

59:46 as a member of the Ole Miss Rebels

59:48 baseball team.

59:50 And a former TCU Horned Frog

59:53 collegiate standout.

59:58 Brings that talent to Banana Ball and

1:00:00 the former freshman All-American

1:00:05 at any time is going to catch on.

1:00:30 Into right, John Howard Bobo.

1:00:32 Solid range, but

1:00:34 plenty enough for a sac fly. The Loco

1:00:36 beats Coconuts on the board here in the

1:00:38 second. They lead the inning one run to

1:00:40 zero. That'll do the job all day long.

1:00:43 Character played appearance from Payton

1:00:46 Shot Tonye and oh my goodness, Denae

1:00:48 Benitez is on A MOTORCYCLE.

1:00:52 OH MY.

1:00:53 FIRE ME UP.

1:00:56 Ho ho, SHE IS SO COOL.

1:01:00 Is this happening?

1:01:14 In her hometown, Denae Benitez doing

1:01:17 what she does best. It's putting on a

1:01:19 show.

1:01:21 Now we're on island time.

1:01:23 >> What's Peter doing?

1:01:24 >> Yeah, enough of that. Back to her

1:01:26 classic walk-up.

1:01:27 >> beach. Let's go get away.

1:01:29 >> Danay Benitez steals the show every

1:01:31 night. And in her hometown of Las Vegas,

1:01:34 she has been the show each night.

1:01:50 I mean, that's the walk-up of the year.

1:01:52 Danay Benitez just came out on her

1:01:54 stepdad's motorbike.

1:01:58 And I don't think there's anyone in the

1:01:59 world that would look cooler doing it.

1:02:01 It's her third at bat of the weekend,

1:02:03 one for two, a couple balls in play, and

1:02:05 there's two two two.

1:02:07 Fans all across the ballpark

1:02:10 came to see this.

1:02:13 Danay Benitez

1:02:15 into right field.

1:02:16 Can't find no man's land. Jason Swan is

1:02:18 there, but first pitch swinging.

1:02:21 >> Man!

1:02:22 She's so aggressive with the game. It's

1:02:26 I love watching Danay Benitez play.

1:02:29 >> Well, that makes two of us. Benitez very

1:02:32 quickly becoming one of the faces of the

1:02:34 beach and for good reason. I I mean, we

1:02:35 saw it in the pregame today, right? Her

1:02:38 line is always the longest for

1:02:39 autographs. Everyone wants to be a part

1:02:41 of the Danay show, and we've got a show

1:02:43 going on on the field.

1:02:44 >> down to the infield with A.J. Kirsch.

1:02:46 What do you got going on, brother?

1:02:48 >> Well, we've got something fun for you,

1:02:49 Vegas. We've got a game called Bar

1:02:53 Backs. We've got contestants in the far

1:02:56 corners of the outfield. Shane in far

1:03:00 right field, Scott in far left field.

1:03:04 When I say go, gentlemen, you are going

1:03:07 to have to chug a root beer like you've

1:03:09 never chugged before and sprint to your

1:03:12 respective bases, where we've got

1:03:15 bartenders, Las Vegas' finest, with

1:03:19 another root beer that you are going to

1:03:21 have to chug and then give these

1:03:24 bartenders a piggyback ride to that

1:03:28 finish line. And the first to cross the

1:03:30 finish line will win Bar Backs. Vegas,

1:03:35 are you ready?

1:03:38 GO!

1:03:40 CHUG! CHUG! CHUG! CHUG!

1:03:45 We've got split screen on both

1:03:47 competitors. Shane is out of the gate

1:03:49 first. Scott has some catching up to do.

1:03:55 Shane has

1:03:57 not run this fast in years. Another root

1:03:59 beer awaits and he IS UNDERWAY. SCOTT!

1:04:04 YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO DIG DEEP, BUDDY.

1:04:09 Shane

1:04:10 spikes the root beer.

1:04:16 Shane

1:04:18 is going to cross the finish line. Shane

1:04:21 is your winner.

1:04:30 >> Give me that.

1:04:31 >> Ax just gave it to you.

1:04:32 >> I should have got that.

1:04:34 I'm joking. I'm joking.

1:04:37 I joke. Jock jock jock How do I How do

1:04:40 we get that during the game?

1:04:42 When do you learn the flair bartending

1:04:44 skills that can elevate our broadcast to

1:04:46 that level?

1:04:47 I think it would help if we had some

1:04:48 root beer up here. Tequila!

1:04:53 TJ Reeves

1:04:55 allowed to right field.

1:04:57 But Coconuts got a guy.

1:05:00 Gideon Antal, TRICK PLAY.

1:05:03 He made that look easy.

1:05:05 After missing one last night, Antal gets

1:05:08 the first ball hit to him

1:05:10 and throws in a little flair. Trick play

1:05:12 battle now tied at two all a piece.

1:05:15 After that tip up to his bare hand.

1:05:21 Jason Swan

1:05:25 He's been a Party Animal since 2022. One

1:05:27 of those veteran leaders.

1:05:29 Swan

1:05:30 I I said it earlier when we were miked

1:05:32 up with Brett Helton. The trick play

1:05:33 missed at first base. He's going to get

1:05:35 that back for you with just how good he

1:05:37 is at the plate. 466

1:05:41 Yeah, unreal. I mean those are video

1:05:43 game numbers from Swan.

1:05:45 Wastes no time to get on here. Party

1:05:46 Animals first base runner, Jason Swan,

1:05:49 represents the tying run here in the

1:05:50 second inning. Now everyone at the plate

1:05:52 can walk it off with a single swing.

1:05:55 And the first try is going to be for

1:05:57 Chase Ace Goff, who's in some VGK gear

1:05:59 down there.

1:06:40 An homage to Sin City, Las Vegas.

1:06:46 You and I attended the Vegas Golden

1:06:47 Knights versus Utah Mammoth

1:06:51 game five, as did many of the Party

1:06:53 Animals and Loco Beach Coconuts. And the

1:06:55 welcome

1:06:57 Ace Goff in the right field, Gideon

1:06:58 Antal

1:07:02 retires 11. The welcome they gave us was

1:07:05 top notch. That was right up there with

1:07:08 the club last night.

1:07:15 Here she comes, Ashton Lansdell.

1:07:20 Starting at second base today.

1:07:23 Lansdell

1:07:24 First pitch swinging. JACOBO TRICK PLAY

1:07:27 MISSED.

1:07:29 A HARD 90 hustle from Ashton Lansdell,

1:07:32 she's safe at first.

1:07:34 I'm going to wear that one. Sal Jacobo

1:07:36 asked me pregame today.

1:07:38 Make up a trick play for me. That's it.

1:07:40 That's him trying it right there.

1:07:42 Maybe I gave him too hard of

1:07:44 instructions.

1:07:46 What is wrong with you?

1:07:48 A a lot.

1:07:50 When you sniff Smentcil's the way we do

1:07:54 everything starts to smell like cotton

1:07:55 candy.

1:07:59 2-1

1:08:01 Tanner Thomas

1:08:04 The guy who hit a home run in the Lone

1:08:06 Vegas series 2024 for these party

1:08:09 animals. Hit a home run again last

1:08:10 night.

1:08:12 Here in the entertainment capital of the

1:08:13 world.

1:08:14 Tanner Thomas right field

1:08:17 Antol at the wall. DEATH TAXES. TANNER

1:08:22 THOMAS LONG BALLS IN LAS VEGAS.

1:08:25 THAT HOME RUN JUST WALKED OFF THE SECOND

1:08:28 AND THIS GAME IS TIED.

1:08:49 They like him.

1:08:51 They really like him.

1:09:06 >> And here are the Vivas.

1:09:09 The official DANCE TEAM OF THE Las Vegas

1:09:11 Golden Knights.

1:09:15 On the field dancing with the Party

1:09:17 Animals. Those guys got moves, man.

1:09:32 After the walk off, tied a point a

1:09:34 piece. Thank you, Taylor Thomas.

1:09:36 Spaghetii Bowl?

1:09:39 >> AJ,

1:09:40 CJ, I see both of you on the dugouts,

1:09:43 but uh what what what's going on, guys?

1:09:45 >> Fans, if you're driving around here in

1:09:49 Las Vegas, you're probably aware of the

1:09:52 infamous Spaghetti Bowl.

1:09:56 And right now we're going to play a game

1:09:58 to honor it. I'm over here on the third

1:10:00 base dugout with my friend Derek, and he

1:10:03 is holding a bowl, which begs the

1:10:05 question, where is the spaghetti?

1:10:09 If we look up on the upper deck, where

1:10:13 There we go. We got the Coconut's very

1:10:15 own Kyle Perry and 15 lb of spaghetti

1:10:20 noodles.

1:10:22 He will be throwing those noodles down

1:10:24 here, and it'll be up to Derek to catch

1:10:27 them in his bowl.

1:10:29 But,

1:10:30 this is a side versus side competition.

1:10:33 AJ, WHO DO YOU GOT OVER THERE?

1:10:36 >> CJ, I'm over here on the first base

1:10:38 dugout with my buddy Steve, and up in

1:10:41 the upper deck, Party Animals pitcher

1:10:44 Dylan Porter.

1:10:48 Dylan, have you ever pitched spaghetti

1:10:49 before?

1:10:51 >> Never.

1:10:51 >> Great. This is going to go awesome. CJ,

1:10:54 I FEEL BAD for you. I think this side's

1:10:56 going to win. I think Derek's going to

1:10:58 do phenomenal over here. EVERYONE, HELP

1:11:00 US COUNT DOWN THESE HANDFULS of

1:11:02 spaghetti to get thrown. In three, two,

1:11:06 one. Throw that spaghetti!

1:11:08 >> We need to show you a pitch has been

1:11:10 thrown here. We're going to go ahead and

1:11:11 play banana ball.

1:11:17 1-1 count on Dalton Maldonado

1:11:21 against Brett Helmer.

1:11:25 Chase Deekof can't get to that one. It's

1:11:26 a base hit for the songbird of our

1:11:28 generation.

1:11:31 There it is. Dalton Maldonado. I think

1:11:33 it surprised all of us. Just to give

1:11:34 context here, during spaghetti ball,

1:11:37 the teams decided, you know what? You

1:11:39 guys can watch that in the in the

1:11:41 stands. We're going to do the banana

1:11:42 ball here for a second.

1:11:43 There it is. Dalton Maldonado. Big-time

1:11:46 hit. Songbird generation lead-off

1:11:48 single. Turns it over for Tanner Allen.

1:11:53 Tanner Allen

1:11:55 to DeBraun Thomas. Home run.

1:11:57 Yes!

1:12:00 Hollywood in that jacket looks slick.

1:12:02 He's got the bow tie, wearing no shirt.

1:12:07 Hot.

1:12:10 That's one way to put it. We've

1:12:12 definitely redef redefined what good

1:12:14 fashion is here in banana ball.

1:12:16 Ourselves included.

1:12:19 One fur coat,

1:12:21 one bow tie,

1:12:23 one

1:12:25 pair of boat shoes that you're wearing

1:12:27 at a time.

1:12:29 Dink Troutman is 1 for 1. Hit a double

1:12:32 his first time to the dish.

1:12:34 Um batting .400 this season. Good or

1:12:37 bad?

1:12:40 So-so.

1:12:41 Let's see. Let's see.

1:12:43 Más o menos.

1:13:02 >> I went out to the Plaza last night.

1:13:05 Left side through for a hit. Mikey

1:13:07 Ballou couldn't grab it.

1:13:10 That's a single for Toffey who's two for

1:13:11 two. I went to the Plaza last night.

1:13:13 This lady walks up and goes, "I got to

1:13:15 tell you something."

1:13:17 I go, "Okay.

1:13:18 I like where this is going already." You

1:13:20 always said that Andy Cosgrove is hot

1:13:22 all the time and I I didn't know if I

1:13:23 believed it. I was like, "Oh, where is

1:13:25 this guy? I just didn't see it." She

1:13:28 said, "But I came to the game tonight

1:13:30 and wow."

1:13:33 She said, "I've always thought it was

1:13:34 Brony the hottest guy on the team, but

1:13:36 wow." Her words, "Wow."

1:13:39 Left field

1:13:40 Noah Fisher

1:13:42 with two on. He won't opt for the trick

1:13:44 play. A trick play missed would it be

1:13:47 devastating for the Animals there in

1:13:49 center.

1:13:50 Good old fashioned put out. I'm a big

1:13:52 fan of that from the lady in the party

1:13:54 plaza by the way. Believe it or not, I

1:13:56 look so much better in person. She also

1:13:59 didn't sound like that at all. I'm not

1:14:00 sure where I got that voice.

1:14:04 It fit the story.

1:14:06 It really did. The donut batter

1:14:11 the former third rounder to the Astros

1:14:14 Jordan Brewer

1:14:15 one of the toughest guys in the world to

1:14:16 strike out.

1:14:21 Brewer to Acuff. Double play ball.

1:14:24 There's one.

1:14:25 And it's the only one you need.

1:14:27 Let's go to the bottom of the third. The

1:14:29 Party Animals have an opportunity to

1:14:31 take the lead.

1:14:34 After Chase Acuff adds another trick

1:14:36 play to the Animals ledger and now it's

1:14:38 time for Bananas Foster.

1:14:42 >> Across the United States, there are over

1:14:44 400,000

1:14:46 children and and teens in foster care

1:14:48 without a permanent home.

1:14:50 To raise awareness and support this

1:14:52 community, we created Bananas Foster,

1:14:56 the official nonprofit of Banana Ball.

1:15:00 Our organization is dedicated to

1:15:02 celebrating those in the foster care

1:15:05 community while educating and inspiring

1:15:08 others to get involved.

1:15:11 Tonight, we are celebrating

1:15:14 the family.

1:15:16 There are approximately 3,400

1:15:21 children currently in foster care right

1:15:24 here in Clark County. To make a

1:15:27 difference, Adriana and DJ became a

1:15:29 licensed foster family 3 years ago to

1:15:33 help these children.

1:15:36 Over the years, they have welcomed five

1:15:39 kiddos into their home. Fans, please

1:15:42 join us in celebrating this amazing

1:15:45 family for making a difference right

1:15:48 here

1:16:17 >> I

1:16:18 I wish we had four games in Vegas, man.

1:16:20 A moment like that, I tear up almost

1:16:23 every time.

1:16:25 Because those those aren't just numbers.

1:16:28 The Bella said, you know, that they're

1:16:29 they're they're human beings, they're

1:16:31 people, and the lives that one family

1:16:34 who lives right here. They do We do four

1:16:37 days here in a weekend, right? We fly

1:16:39 in, we fly right back out. Their whole

1:16:41 lives are built in Las Vegas and making

1:16:43 a difference in the lives of children

1:16:46 who don't have a family.

1:16:48 They provide that for them. That is

1:16:50 incredible.

1:16:59 With that, Blake Benson, the former

1:17:00 party animal,

1:17:01 takes the bump. An entertainment player

1:17:03 for the Loco Beach Coconut, who has the

1:17:05 best ERA on the team.

1:17:07 Last night was the first time Blake

1:17:09 Benson closed out a Banana Ball game.

1:17:11 Now, today he's quickly given the yellow

1:17:14 ball again. He's earned it. Blake Benson

1:17:16 has only issued two ball four sprints

1:17:18 this season and he comes in early relief

1:17:20 for Austin Krzeminski. The starter only

1:17:22 made it through two. So, Blake Benson's

1:17:24 coming in and being asked to eat at

1:17:26 least an inning here. Sub two on the

1:17:28 ERA.

1:17:29 He's a trick pitch specialist who can

1:17:31 hit you with a backflip, some

1:17:32 breakdancing moves and he is

1:17:35 probably the only person on planet Earth

1:17:37 who is able to move his body the way he

1:17:39 is and follow it up immediately with a

1:17:42 strike.

1:17:46 But, he's going to have to play witness

1:17:48 to some shenanigans on the first base

1:17:50 side

1:17:51 before offering his first pitch.

1:18:17 Hollywood, Bronson Bull Home.

1:18:21 Grew up in the Los Angeles area. Most of

1:18:24 his friends and family from back home

1:18:26 are here tonight. Just a drive away.

1:18:29 In San Juan, Puerto Rico.

1:18:32 Mi Ijo.

1:18:35 Doesn't get much catchier than that.

1:18:38 It doesn't get much hotter

1:18:40 than

1:18:41 Bronson Ball home.

1:18:43 Chippendales thing going on here, you

1:18:45 know?

1:18:46 You wouldn't get that. You're too young.

1:18:49 Not anymore. If you don't know Rick

1:18:50 Vaughn, you definitely don't know Chris

1:18:52 Farley.

1:18:55 Ronnie

1:18:56 Good eye against his former teammate.

1:19:00 I grew up on Loco Beach. We didn't have

1:19:02 a TV.

1:19:06 The Swiss Family Robinson kind of deal?

1:19:11 Again, I couldn't tell you what that is.

1:19:13 On Loco Beach, we just had family,

1:19:16 sand,

1:19:17 saltwater,

1:19:20 love,

1:19:21 passion. Keep going.

1:19:26 Blake Benson Well hit. Coconut's have a

1:19:29 man there. Trick play, yeah. Why not?

1:19:31 DANNY, QUICK TO FIRST BASE. Retires

1:19:34 Bronson Ball home.

1:19:36 We did a lot of that growing up at Loco

1:19:37 Beach, too. Just non-stop entertainment

1:19:40 from this group. Second trick play of

1:19:41 the ball game for Jordan Brewer. Blake

1:19:43 Benson flashes the wheels up the line,

1:19:46 able to tap the back just in front of

1:19:47 Hollywood. Great walk-up, doesn't get

1:19:49 the result he wanted after it.

1:19:51 And par for the course, Blake Benson

1:19:54 breakdancing

1:19:55 and getting quick outs.

1:19:58 A trick pitch

1:20:00 that leads to a strikeout. Counts as a

1:20:02 trick play.

1:20:03 Benny's just doing that to do that. Love

1:20:05 of the game. Entertainment factor.

1:20:08 No official up the crotch.

1:20:12 104 off the bat of Fish.

1:20:15 And after an over night yesterday, he's

1:20:17 one for one today.

1:20:25 Reese Hampton

1:20:26 over four last night, over one tonight.

1:20:32 The former Tigers minor leaguer

1:20:35 trying to get back into a groove here in

1:20:36 Las Vegas, but he told me at dinner two

1:20:38 nights ago. He said, "Look, I would want

1:20:40 I I want to be Reese Hampton in August.

1:20:43 More than anybody I don't want to be

1:20:44 anybody else. I want to be me in August

1:20:45 cuz I know that I'm going to settle in,

1:20:47 keep putting balls in play, and it's

1:20:49 going to work out."

1:20:50 >> Got some really good news for Reese

1:20:51 Hampton.

1:20:53 I'm going to go out on a limb and say

1:20:54 he'll probably be Reese Hampton today.

1:20:57 He's more than likely still going to be

1:20:58 Reese Hampton tomorrow. And come August,

1:21:01 unless if he has some plan to legally

1:21:03 change his name, he should be Reese

1:21:05 Hampton at that time of year as well.

1:21:11 >> It's just different the the minor league

1:21:13 guys in this sport by and large those

1:21:16 who are in farm systems, they play with

1:21:17 such a cerebral

1:21:19 and mature

1:21:21 approach to the game. It almost reminds

1:21:22 you of mall Santa Claus.

1:21:28 Hampton fouls off himself. Billy Ball

1:21:30 four.

1:21:32 Ball caught.

1:21:36 You You've got to start watching things

1:21:39 just

1:21:40 generally.

1:21:44 >> Watching things?

1:21:46 >> Yeah.

1:21:47 >> I'll be sure to look up things.

1:21:52 >> Swing and a miss for Hampton.

1:21:55 Blake Benson cuts him down.

1:21:59 >> I mean, what can't he do?

1:22:01 >> Fifth strikeout of the year for Blake

1:22:03 Benson. He's got a four-pitch mix. He's

1:22:04 able to throw them all in and around the

1:22:07 zone. It's a dominant control arm on the

1:22:09 mound who really tops out in the low to

1:22:11 mid 80s with the fastball and still has

1:22:14 looked untouchable for the majority of

1:22:15 this season. And you can see how dialed

1:22:17 in he looks against his former team.

1:22:20 >> It means something a little bit

1:22:21 different.

1:22:23 That's That's not a knock on the party

1:22:25 animals. It just means something more.

1:22:30 Wearing the teal of Loco Beach and now

1:22:32 facing the black and pink and the rookie

1:22:34 Mikey Ballou.

1:22:36 Oh.

1:22:41 That was almost as scary as the wax

1:22:43 museum.

1:22:46 Madame Tussauds.

1:22:48 I've got a real fear of the wax museum.

1:22:53 Benson paints inside. I hate candles

1:22:55 because they're made of wax.

1:22:58 I love candles.

1:23:01 I don't like your ears, Benson, for the

1:23:02 same reason. Backflip. Steps back on the

1:23:05 mound and fires high.

1:23:07 Noa Fisher takes advantage, swipes

1:23:09 second base.

1:23:10 Yeah, I don't love that. I just don't.

1:23:18 Ballou.

1:23:19 Schottanye boots it.

1:23:22 FISK GETS THE HOLD. THEY'RE on the

1:23:24 corners with two down.

1:23:26 That's big.

1:23:27 Fisk goes from closing out the third

1:23:29 inning, instead is going to be ruled as

1:23:31 an E6 on Peyton Schottanye. It was a

1:23:33 hard hit ball, but one he has to have

1:23:35 control of to help Blake Benson, because

1:23:37 now the reigning MVP comes up with a

1:23:39 chance to give the party animals the

1:23:41 lead.

1:23:41 >> Yep. Schottanye, former freshman

1:23:43 All-American at Ole Miss, doesn't happen

1:23:45 very often for him.

1:23:47 But now Scholl can make him pay.

1:23:58 Scholl's first time up was against

1:24:00 Austin Krzeminski,

1:24:01 who started the game for the Loco Beach

1:24:03 Coconuts.

1:24:05 Struck out.

1:24:14 Benny.

1:24:16 Trick pitch.

1:24:20 It's up.

1:24:28 Did he go?

1:24:29 No.

1:24:41 Payoff pitch from Blake Benson. Swing

1:24:43 and a miss.

1:24:45 BENNY CUTS DOWN THE MVP.

1:24:48 STRANDS TWO.

1:24:53 What a show.

1:24:55 Stinky Parmesan.

1:24:58 Blake Benson.

1:25:00 You're filthier than the New York sewer

1:25:02 system.

1:25:03 Absolutely disgusting.

1:25:06 Strikes out the reigning MVP.

1:25:10 And hits the deck to celebrate.

1:25:12 It's back-to-back days with scoreless

1:25:15 frames from Blake Bat Benny Benson.

1:26:17 Brady Bunch, Viva Las Vegas.

1:26:21 And Brett Helton

1:26:23 is back out, his fourth inning of work.

1:26:26 Those trick plays missed.

1:26:28 Oh, and the bat of Dane Tolbert, who's

1:26:30 two for two, have been the only snafus

1:26:32 for the Party Animals defensively.

1:26:36 The Party Animals have looked night and

1:26:38 day

1:26:39 better.

1:26:39 >> Yeah. Yeah.

1:26:40 >> From a night ago. I mean, they really

1:26:42 have. Yesterday at this point in the

1:26:43 game, Loco Beach already had 10 hits, it

1:26:46 felt like.

1:26:48 Today, but more, actually.

1:26:51 >> Yeah.

1:26:51 >> Exactly. But, today, Brett Helton's

1:26:53 doing a really good job of filling the

1:26:55 zone and trusting his defense. Didn't

1:26:57 let the two trick plays missed early get

1:26:58 to him. So, that's to a tied ballgame as

1:27:01 we kick off the visiting half of the

1:27:02 fourth with the face of the beach

1:27:04 getting down to a knee. Good thing he's

1:27:05 already proposed cuz that one would have

1:27:07 been denied.

1:27:09 Love you, Ashbee. We're going to hear

1:27:10 from him next inning, by the way, behind

1:27:12 the plate.

1:27:14 Home plate umpire, Trey Hudson, walks

1:27:16 back out to Brett Helton, gives him a

1:27:18 bit of time for Bronson Ball home, who

1:27:21 took the foul ball off the face.

1:27:24 Everyone's good.

1:27:26 Play on.

1:27:28 Great pitch.

1:27:37 Finding.

1:27:39 Fluke tried to go behind the back

1:27:42 and catch the foul ball off the net.

1:27:45 That's just Sean Fluke, man.

1:27:52 Players in the Banana Ball, by the way,

1:27:53 allowed to steal first base for any wild

1:27:55 pitch or passed ball.

1:27:57 Finding would have been at first safely,

1:27:59 it looked like. But, with a bat as big

1:28:01 as his, he says, "Hey, let me swing."

1:28:04 Players in Banana Ball also allowed to

1:28:06 be shirtless with leis on.

1:28:09 Three for four last night.

1:28:17 >> Vining's got such good bat-to-ball

1:28:19 skills. He's such a tough strikeout

1:28:21 because he's always going to get the

1:28:22 barrel over the plate and just find a

1:28:24 way to make contact and keep the fight

1:28:26 going.

1:28:26 >> Just eight strikeouts in his 67 plate

1:28:29 appearances.

1:28:30 Acuff

1:28:33 Well hit by Vining, but we've got a guy

1:28:35 there. His second groundout of the

1:28:36 contest gives way to Gideon Antle who

1:28:39 reached via a curveball play missed.

1:28:42 Back in the second inning.

1:28:44 >> Get another look. I mean, that's just

1:28:45 beautiful. It's what we've grown used to

1:28:47 seeing from Chase Acuff at short. He

1:28:49 makes it feel routine and really a lot

1:28:50 of these guys in this league are getting

1:28:52 their footing nearly a third of the way

1:28:54 into the season where triple plays are

1:28:56 starting to feel routine, but I've got

1:28:57 to emphasize that it is a lot harder

1:28:59 than it looks to do that

1:29:02 all in one clean motion and still get

1:29:04 the runner in time.

1:29:19 >> Helton's got him looking

1:29:21 for strike two.

1:29:23 Gideon Antle out of Licking, Missouri.

1:29:25 Of course I do.

1:29:31 Nice.

1:29:37 You're licking your lips and you're

1:29:38 proud of yourself on that one.

1:29:40 >> I am.

1:29:41 Good.

1:29:44 Up the middle. Beaber goes between the

1:29:47 legs. IS IT THROWING TIME? YES.

1:29:50 Tight play at first.

1:29:54 DUSTIN BEABER

1:29:59 THE HAIR OF his chin, you see the

1:30:00 replay, he got him.

1:30:04 Beaber took over for Lansdell at second

1:30:06 and makes an immediate impact. The

1:30:08 leprechaun, bang bang play, just able

1:30:11 to gun down the speedy Gideon Antal.

1:30:15 out ahead of Grady Morgan's look.

1:30:26 >> You know, that's a spot where Bamer is

1:30:27 deep in the hole.

1:30:29 Makes that trick play even tougher, but

1:30:31 the equalizer point

1:30:33 when we get to the final inning, if the

1:30:35 visiting team has more trick plays,

1:30:36 they're awarded a point. The Party

1:30:38 Animals need those tonight. Pivotal.

1:30:45 And Grady Morgan

1:30:47 puts one off the windshield of a white

1:30:49 Nissan Maxima with Arkansas plates.

1:30:52 Bring a glove.

1:30:55 Parked in row G.

1:30:58 Swing and a miss.

1:31:01 Brent Helton is doing them dirty.

1:31:07 B Helton.

1:31:08 His first strike out of the game.

1:31:11 Having faced 17 batters, he's a contact

1:31:14 guy.

1:31:16 But he'll take it.

1:31:21 To the bottom of the fourth we head,

1:31:22 Party Animals Loco Beach Coconuts

1:31:24 still tied at a point a piece and

1:31:29 we're missing a pitcher for Loco Beach.

1:31:33 >> Hey.

1:31:33 >> Oh, what have we got here?

1:31:36 >> Strike three.

1:31:42 >> I'm going to go work.

1:31:45 >> I wasn't jealous before we met.

1:31:48 Now every man that I see is a potential

1:31:52 threat.

1:31:55 And I'm possessive, it isn't nice.

1:31:59 You've heard me saying that smoking my

1:32:02 only vice.

1:32:06 But now it isn't true.

1:32:09 Now everything is new.

1:32:13 And all that hurt

1:32:15 has overturned.

1:32:17 I beg

1:32:17 of you.

1:32:43 >> The Big Arch.

1:32:46 You're going to love this product.

1:32:50 Comes out fresh every time.

1:32:53 Long time Savannah Banana. Turn Loco

1:32:56 Beach Coconut. 4.3 the earned run

1:32:58 average is the second best mark on the

1:33:00 squad. 14 and 2/3 innings of work. He

1:33:03 works quickly, under 4 minutes an

1:33:05 inning. And boy oh boy, the Big Arch

1:33:07 looks the part. He talks the part, and

1:33:10 he walks the part.

1:33:12 6 ft 4 225

1:33:16 lbs.

1:33:18 Alrighty, out of Peachtree, Georgia.

1:33:22 Did you know, and I don't this could be

1:33:24 new knowledge for most of our viewers. I

1:33:25 was talking to Andy today, he told me

1:33:27 for the first time he used to live in

1:33:29 Hawaii.

1:33:31 Yeah, our BTV super fans would know

1:33:33 that. We did do a full segment on it,

1:33:35 Drake, but

1:33:36 >> You would think in all the conversations

1:33:37 we've had, maybe he would post about it

1:33:39 on social media, or

1:33:40 >> Didn't know he played there?

1:33:43 >> How old is he?

1:33:44 Wait a minute, Drake. I should follow

1:33:45 him back.

1:33:47 >> DJ Reeves, he's the four hole hitter for

1:33:49 the Party Animals. Oh for one.

1:33:54 One of the many Banana Ballers who come

1:33:55 from independent baseball. Reeves is in

1:33:57 the Frontier League.

1:34:00 But in the middle of his independent

1:34:01 baseball career, he took a break 2023

1:34:03 for a weekend to play for the Party

1:34:05 Animals, where he got a hit off of

1:34:07 Stilts from the Savannah Bananas.

1:34:10 TJ Reeves

1:34:12 Loco Beach has a man there.

1:34:14 Grady Morgan

1:34:16 the putout.

1:34:18 The bald man Johnny on the spot

1:34:23 with a hat that helps you read the

1:34:24 future. He knew exactly where to be.

1:34:26 Ball right in the leather for out one.

1:34:29 After Loco Beach scored in the first two

1:34:31 innings, they've been shut out now in

1:34:33 the third and fourth and put a little

1:34:34 pressure on their arms, but Andy Archer

1:34:36 got some help in left.

1:34:38 And he's all smiles.

1:34:44 Swan is down 0-2. Jason Swan has only

1:34:46 struck out twice in his 59 plate

1:34:48 appearances this season.

1:35:00 SWAN IS TWO FOR TWO.

1:35:04 I'm going to go right back to it. After

1:35:06 a trick play missed in the first inning,

1:35:09 we said Jason Swan is going to give that

1:35:11 back to the Party Animals with his bat.

1:35:13 A couple of singles in this game.

1:35:18 And the last time he singled, it led to

1:35:20 a Tanner Thomas home run

1:35:22 to give the Party Animals their lone

1:35:24 point of the game.

1:35:36 Archer steps off. Quick pitch. That's in

1:35:38 there.

1:35:46 That comes with so much experience, too.

1:35:47 Archer, a third-year Banana baller. You

1:35:48 see Helton

1:35:50 has been in the sport for 4 years.

1:35:54 Double play ball. There's one.

1:35:57 TOO EASY FOR TWO. JORDAN BREWER GOES

1:36:00 BETWEEN THE LEGS.

1:36:03 ANDY ARCHERS ACROSS the board.

1:36:07 Gabe Toplin on the hot corner.

1:36:10 Scoops it up like a fresh big ice cream.

1:36:12 Sal Jacobo up the middle. We go from

1:36:15 five to four to three. Between the legs

1:36:19 for good measure. Loco Beach keeps the

1:36:22 Party Animals at bay and we remain tied

1:36:25 through four. It's those veteran

1:36:26 pitchers that change their pace

1:36:28 throughout the game like Andy Archer. It

1:36:30 leads to plays like that. It confuses

1:36:32 hitters.

1:36:34 Ball on the ground. Got a guy there.

1:36:36 Double play.

1:36:38 And what's more fun than that?

1:36:40 The Banana Ball Championship, of course.

1:36:43 GEICO and the Banana Ball Championship

1:36:45 League are teaming up to send one lucky

1:36:46 winner on the ultimate fan experience to

1:36:48 the 2026 Banana Ball Championship game

1:36:50 on October 10th. Win four tickets,

1:36:53 airfare, hotel, and a VIP on-field

1:37:03 Look at this place.

1:37:07 Over 10,000 people that have filled Las

1:37:10 Vegas Ballpark, Greater Nevada Field.

1:37:15 Brand new to the Party Animals headline

1:37:17 tour this season,

1:37:19 the glow

1:37:20 in the dark light up wristbands.

1:37:26 And it really makes their show feel that

1:37:27 much more unique. You're only going to

1:37:29 see that at Party Animals home games

1:37:31 this season. What a big addition it's

1:37:33 already been. You can feel the energy

1:37:34 whenever the lights go off. Picture

1:37:36 Milwaukee in a month's time

1:37:40 when the Party Animals with the Loco

1:37:41 Beach Coconuts will sell out a Major

1:37:44 League Baseball stadium without the

1:37:46 Savannah Bananas there. And 40 some

1:37:48 40,000 some odd people will have those

1:37:51 wristbands on doing the exact same

1:37:52 thing.

1:37:53 >> Sounds awesome. It's moments like that

1:37:55 that I really wish I could envision

1:37:56 things in my mind. Growth of the sport.

1:37:58 Growth of the sport.

1:38:00 >> Bret Helton

1:38:02 a lot of point in the first inning

1:38:06 off of an unearned run

1:38:09 when Tanner Allen, the first batter of

1:38:10 the game, reached via a trick play

1:38:12 missed.

1:38:15 Since then, the coconuts have been cold.

1:38:19 That's 110° and sunny.

1:38:22 Look deep enough in your heart rate to

1:38:23 >> 110, is that your ideal here?

1:38:26 Is that what you want?

1:38:28 >> I'm always sitting on a rainbow.

1:38:31 Payton Sacha-ye

1:38:33 Cypress, Texas kid

1:38:38 The Bananas and Tailgaters wrapped up

1:38:40 about 25 minutes ago in College Station,

1:38:42 Texas, largest game in Banana Ball

1:38:43 history, 102,000 people.

1:38:50 Baber

1:38:51 between the legs, yes.

1:38:56 Count it for Dustin Baber, one down.

1:38:59 Puts the Party Animals ahead 6-4 in the

1:39:01 trick play column. How about it? I mean,

1:39:02 Bret Helton has been mighty efficient in

1:39:04 this game, both in terms of time, but

1:39:06 really in terms of pitches thrown. It's

1:39:08 allowed him to get deep into this game.

1:39:12 Sal Giacobbe

1:39:15 Mentioned a few times in this series, he

1:39:16 was a Party Animal last season.

1:39:20 This is his sophomore

1:39:21 year in the sport.

1:39:24 Yeah, you see it. Now, 56 pitches for

1:39:26 Bret Helton

1:39:27 through four and a third

1:39:28 >> Absolutely.

1:39:30 Take that in a heartbeat.

1:39:34 >> This is Sal Giacobbe's first time here

1:39:35 in the rubber match against his former

1:39:37 team. Today,

1:39:39 the signature walk up in this nine hole

1:39:41 earlier in the game.

1:39:48 Live fan feedback, alive and well, AJ

1:39:51 Swiatek.

1:39:54 It is. I love the YouTube chat.

1:39:57 So, I'll give a quick hello and thank

1:39:58 you again for spending your long weekend

1:40:01 here with us in Las Vegas. Time here

1:40:04 does not exist. Correct. Captain Crunch

1:40:06 to Kiki to Catherine to Biff.

1:40:10 Ruth and

1:40:12 Katrissa.

1:40:15 The usual characters lighting it up

1:40:16 tonight.

1:40:18 Swing and a miss.

1:40:22 Strikeout number two for Brett Helton.

1:40:26 Against his former teammate and AJ.

1:40:29 I was going to tell you earlier, you and

1:40:30 I having a conversation

1:40:35 at length about Brett Helton's strikeout

1:40:38 celebration. The red light, green light.

1:40:41 And here you see it on full display.

1:40:45 Kyle Perry knows it.

1:40:49 It's one of the best in the sport.

1:40:53 But when Brett Helton does something

1:41:00 he likes to take his time.

1:41:02 He's gentle.

1:41:05 It's two-minute pitcher intro to start

1:41:08 the game

1:41:09 and a minute and a half strikeout

1:41:11 celebration after he cuts down Sal

1:41:13 Giaccomo.

1:41:15 And X just gave it to you.

1:41:19 Dalton Maldonado walks to the plate.

1:41:23 And his walk-up song is himself.

1:41:29 That'd be a pretty cool feeling. Yeah,

1:41:30 I'm up to an at-bat in front of a

1:41:32 sold-out AAA ballpark and hear your

1:41:35 song. Florida guy who moves out to

1:41:37 Nashville to make it in the music scene

1:41:39 and he does.

1:41:41 And now plays in Banana Ball.

1:41:44 Favorite Don Moulton song?

1:41:50 Cherry Lime for me.

1:41:52 >> Oh, you're asking mine?

1:41:56 >> Help.

1:41:57 Ballard Ball home converge.

1:41:59 Ballard to himself.

1:42:03 >> Drake typically questions start with a

1:42:04 who, what, when, where, or why, not just

1:42:07 favorite favorite song.

1:42:09 Statement. Aggressive.

1:42:11 And that eye contact was mean.

1:42:13 >> I know you I know you love you love his

1:42:16 cover of House of the Rising Sun.

1:42:18 >> We listen to it every morning.

1:42:24 >> Midway through the game here in Las

1:42:25 Vegas, still tied at a point a piece.

1:42:27 Next week in Banana Ball. Let's get on a

1:42:29 flight tonight

1:42:31 and take this party to Atlanta, Georgia

1:42:33 for the Animals Truist Park MLB game.

1:42:37 Where is the Clowns and Tailgaters going

1:42:38 to Tulsa?

1:42:40 Coconuts Firefighters Equity Bank

1:42:42 Stadium, Wichita, Kansas.

1:42:43 >> Yay!

1:42:46 >> All across the country, the six teams in

1:42:49 this sport. Year one of the Banana Ball

1:42:51 Championship League. Formerly, it was

1:42:53 just a tour.

1:42:54 Now it's a world tour. The stakes have

1:42:56 never been higher and one team, those

1:42:58 Texas Tailgaters, who will take on the

1:43:00 Clowns

1:43:01 in Tulsa, have already clinched a spot

1:43:04 in the post season thanks to winning the

1:43:06 Banana Ball Open earlier

1:43:08 this year.

1:43:10 Back to the field HERE IN LAS VEGAS,

1:43:12 ASHBY Vining is Mike Dub. Ashby Vining

1:43:15 is hot.

1:43:16 >> What is up, everybody? YouTube chat,

1:43:19 Ashby Vining's back. You already know,

1:43:20 baby.

1:43:22 >> Hey, he's back like he never left.

1:43:23 Ashby, the YouTube chat's been asking

1:43:26 all night long, what's your go-to slushy

1:43:28 flavor?

1:43:28 >> All right, man. When I'm sitting out

1:43:29 there, strawberry, man. I'm red, you

1:43:31 know. I've been playing a little

1:43:32 roulette, not going to lie, so I've been

1:43:34 betting red.

1:43:36 >> All right. All right.

1:43:41 Ashby.

1:43:42 >> Yeah, what's up?

1:43:42 >> What was it like yesterday to be a part

1:43:44 of history? 23 hits, a new banana ball

1:43:46 record.

1:43:47 >> Man, it was awesome. Um

1:43:49 loved every second of it. Grateful we

1:43:51 did it, you know, the firefighters, you

1:43:52 know, they said they hit really good and

1:43:54 they did. Said to break it off them.

1:43:55 Here we got Babe, he's going to hit in

1:43:56 the bat here.

1:43:58 Let me tell you something, AJ and Drake.

1:44:00 >> This crowd here is actually

1:44:01 unbelievable, man. It is electric.

1:44:05 Electric.

1:44:06 IT'S WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS STRIDE? I

1:44:09 DON'T LIKE THAT.

1:44:10 It makes me uncomfortable every time.

1:44:13 Dustin Pedro with the beer chug, suds

1:44:15 all over his body.

1:44:18 Drake, that makes one of us. I love

1:44:19 that.

1:44:20 >> I'm going to tell you something, Pedro.

1:44:21 Last time I did this on the visitors,

1:44:23 first pitch home run. So, we have to be

1:44:24 going on careful here.

1:44:26 I have PTSD, though.

1:44:27 >> Call the fastball middle middle play. I

1:44:29 love that play.

1:44:30 >> Absolutely not.

1:44:33 Yeah, I know. It's good.

1:44:35 >> I mean, it wasn't wasn't that far off

1:44:37 there, Ashby. Thank you.

1:44:38 >> No, it was cutter, though.

1:44:41 >> No doubt.

1:44:42 >> I love working with Andy. The pace we

1:44:43 work at is just so good. He works at a

1:44:46 really good tempo. Commands to the game.

1:44:49 >> Is it nice having a guy out there with

1:44:50 so much banana ball experience?

1:44:58 There it is. There it is. Got him. Say

1:45:00 it. It's nice.

1:45:01 >> Got him right there.

1:45:02 Oh, Andy. We're going to dance it out,

1:45:04 baby. We're going to dance it out. We're

1:45:06 going to dance it out, AJ.

1:45:08 >> Can I help you, sir?

1:45:09 No, I'm just looking.

1:45:12 Got him on the backwards K. Free smells.

1:45:15 >> And now the sexiest MAN ON PA, JARED

1:45:18 THOMAS.

1:45:21 >> HEY, HE'S ALREADY GOT TWO homers this

1:45:22 series, Ashby. Make sure you're

1:45:23 attacking that back foot.

1:45:25 >> You talk about a guy who's hot, man.

1:45:26 It's number four.

1:45:27 He's seeing beach balls at Loco Beach.

1:45:31 But we're going to change that right

1:45:32 here. We're really going to change that.

1:45:35 Ooh, I don't know. That was a good cut.

1:45:38 >> Thomas a home run last night. Home run

1:45:39 in his first plate appearance tonight.

1:45:41 >> Ashby looks in, takes the pitch, and the

1:45:42 pitch Ooh, change up. Here we go. No, he

1:45:45 did not.

1:45:47 Come on. Tanner Thomas, very strong

1:45:49 approach right here. Ashby looking in,

1:45:50 I'm going to give him a fake shake. Then

1:45:52 we're going fastball in.

1:45:52 >> Good.

1:45:53 >> Looks in, he nods, and the pitch

1:45:55 Fastball in, it's out of all.

1:45:57 CAN THE FAN DO IT?

1:45:59 OH, they did it.

1:46:00 >> Ashby, you lead the league three fan

1:46:02 caught foul balls against you. What's

1:46:04 that feel like?

1:46:05 >> Yeah, not good. And considering one

1:46:06 happened when they were wearing a

1:46:07 coconut jersey, not good.

1:46:10 >> And he lost that jersey so quickly, too.

1:46:12 >> I know. I know. It's just

1:46:13 >> How fast they grow up.

1:46:17 Thomas

1:46:17 >> That one looks like it's out of play,

1:46:18 though.

1:46:20 >> We'll leave the complex foul.

1:46:26 >> Tanner Thomas taking his time stepping

1:46:27 in the box.

1:46:29 Back foot in.

1:46:30 Let's see if we can get it in the hands

1:46:31 here.

1:46:35 Ooh.

1:46:36 >> Oh my. Ashby, was that there? Come on.

1:46:39 Scout's honor.

1:46:40 >> Hey, man, that's what That's what you

1:46:41 call a frame job, baby. That's how I did

1:46:42 it, baby. That's how I did it.

1:46:44 >> I like that. That's moxie. I like that.

1:46:47 >> Come on.

1:46:47 >> That's how you steal a strike. No one

1:46:50 does it better than the Loco Beach

1:46:51 backstops. Ashby and Eric

1:46:54 do it on a night in, night out basis.

1:46:55 It's back-to-back punch outs. Ashby, I

1:46:57 think we need you on the mic more often.

1:46:59 >> Hey, I'm loving it, man. We talking

1:47:00 about another guy that's swinging hard.

1:47:01 It's Ronnie.

1:47:03 Yep.

1:47:04 >> Yep. Got it there. Ashby, what surprised

1:47:07 you most about Las Vegas?

1:47:08 >> Shoot, no sleep, man. I'm not going to

1:47:10 lie. I don't think I've gone to bed past

1:47:12 2:30. But you know what I've learned

1:47:13 this trip? Is that man, I can go out and

1:47:15 have a good time and still ball, baby.

1:47:17 That's the guy I am.

1:47:20 >> Now, Ashby, last night we got back to

1:47:22 the hotel you told me I've learned a lot

1:47:24 about myself. I said, "What have you

1:47:25 learned?" You said, "Well, I don't need

1:47:26 to sleep and I don't need to think."

1:47:28 >> No, I don't. Emily, you know, I got the

1:47:30 baby in my tummy. She's moving around

1:47:31 24/7. I don't know if my baby's getting

1:47:33 any sleep up there in the womb.

1:47:36 >> That's good.

1:47:37 That's really good. The baby can tell

1:47:39 it's in Vegas through the womb.

1:47:41 >> I don't know if that's a good thing

1:47:42 though, right?

1:47:43 >> Sin City has that kind of magic to it.

1:47:45 >> Two balls or he bobbles going to go for

1:47:47 the trick play and he gets over, gets

1:47:48 them out, boys. What a job.

1:47:50 >> Ashby, you're coming for our jobs.

1:47:52 >> No one does it better than you two, man.

1:47:53 I'm super blessed to be on the mic with

1:47:55 y'all. I love you two.

1:47:56 >> Oh, man. What a sweetheart. The face of

1:47:58 the beach. Wow. Beach to you.

1:48:01 >> Beach to you.

1:48:02 >> What's up, y'all? It is time for THE

1:48:04 BREAK.

1:48:04 >> MICHAEL SCHWARTZ, we have a celebrity in

1:48:06 the Coconut's dugout, I'm being told.

1:48:08 >> Yeah, look who's joined us. He is back.

1:48:10 We found him in Vegas, Fake Tall. How

1:48:12 are we today?

1:48:14 >> We're doing good, Marcus, but let me

1:48:16 tell you,

1:48:17 last night

1:48:18 Last night when I was up in the dugout

1:48:20 >> Hey, not done. Not done.

1:48:21 >> I I said when it rains, it

1:48:23 pours, and it poured on my party animals

1:48:26 and it really upset me. But, we were at

1:48:28 dinner last night, me and you, and and

1:48:30 Well, we did more than dinner. We we

1:48:32 stayed out late.

1:48:33 Well, okay, okay. Let's not tell

1:48:35 everyone. But, I did say I was going to

1:48:38 have to take a look at the Coconuts, you

1:48:39 know, see what are they doing? What's in

1:48:41 the juice? What's

1:48:41 >> Yeah, are you ready to just put on that

1:48:44 color?

1:48:45 >> I'm not sure if I'm 100% ready. My boys

1:48:48 are in it today. We're we're 50/50 right

1:48:50 now.

1:48:51 But, but Loco Beach is going crazy.

1:48:54 They're winning me over, you know?

1:48:56 >> You talk so much. Last question before I

1:48:58 go. Uh who do you have a crush on on the

1:48:59 Party Animals?

1:49:01 >> Sean Fluke. Sean Fluke, obviously. She's

1:49:03 staying over.

1:49:03 >> This is legit, uh Fake Tall. This is the

1:49:06 answers. Back to you guys.

1:49:08 We heard it all.

1:49:09 >> I hate him.

1:49:13 Hate's a really strong word.

1:49:15 >> I want to destroy

1:49:17 Drake.

1:49:19 >> What did he to to you?

1:49:20 >> I don't look like that, do I?

1:49:22 >> No, you look worse.

1:49:24 >> Fake Toll rears his ugly head again.

1:49:28 >> What about it though? I mean, we've had

1:49:30 fake Toll and fake Jay Switek in the

1:49:32 same day.

1:49:34 >> This is well hit to left.

1:49:35 >> Oh my goodness! FISHER CAN'T GET IT.

1:49:39 IT'S A BASE HIT, TWO BASES FOR TANNER

1:49:42 ALLEN.

1:49:46 I want to get another look at this.

1:49:47 >> Fisher ever had full control of it. No,

1:49:49 it just bounced off the top of the

1:49:51 glove. Would have been an incredible

1:49:52 play.

1:49:53 Miraculous effort.

1:49:55 But when you hit the ball as hard as

1:49:57 Tanner Allen, it's hard to clamp it at

1:49:58 times.

1:50:00 >> I should be clear. I don't hate fake

1:50:02 Toll the person. I hate fake Toll the

1:50:05 idea.

1:50:06 I hate the idea of fake Toll.

1:50:09 >> Why is that?

1:50:12 >> But I love Clayton Franklin, wherever he

1:50:13 is tonight.

1:50:15 >> See, that's how you ask a question,

1:50:17 Drake.

1:50:19 >> Thank you.

1:50:19 >> That's not how you answer it though. Why

1:50:21 don't you like it?

1:50:26 >> It's too on the nose.

1:50:35 >> Nate Toll from

1:50:50 Man, Helton took his time.

1:50:53 Shook off a few, great pitch, couldn't

1:50:54 get the call from Trey Hudson.

1:50:58 Hair outside.

1:51:04 Toll from

1:51:07 Will this stay in play?

1:51:09 It's way foul. Ballard hugging THE

1:51:10 DUGOUT.

1:51:13 JUST ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE ANIMALS.

1:51:16 Completely ran out of real estate.

1:51:19 But still able to bring it in.

1:51:22 Good job to stick with it on the hot

1:51:24 corner from Michael Ballard. That's

1:51:26 typically where you see Bryson Bloomer

1:51:28 for the Party Animals, but Ballard

1:51:29 stepped in and made a couple nice plays

1:51:31 defensively already.

1:51:35 Hey, B goes in the chat and Keeper 1 is

1:51:37 on the same page as me. We love fake

1:51:38 tall. The idea the concept, the human

1:51:41 being.

1:51:43 I'm all about it.

1:51:48 Smoked.

1:51:49 Straight into the net from Eric Asberg.

1:51:52 Florence, Massachusetts kid.

1:51:55 Sixth-year minor league career

1:51:58 for Asberg.

1:52:10 He went no-doubt bomb last night and

1:52:12 this is one of the deepest parks

1:52:14 in all of baseball.

1:52:25 The corners

1:52:27 345

1:52:29 380 to right and left center, 415 to

1:52:31 dead center. Asberg's home run last

1:52:33 night 480 to right.

1:52:36 I mean, it was a no-doubter by

1:52:38 definition.

1:52:39 He let out every bit of rage on that

1:52:42 banana ball.

1:52:43 And then proceeded to tell the world

1:52:44 that he's the hardest out in this league

1:52:47 for the second time in as many weeks.

1:52:57 Got him! BACKWARDS K!

1:53:01 Brett Holden

1:53:03 What a frame from Bronson Ball home and

1:53:05 Trey Hudson, the home plate umpire says,

1:53:07 "What do you want me to do about it?"

1:53:10 Strong frame.

1:53:12 That pitch is close.

1:53:17 You know what?

1:53:19 When I was in T-ball, they used to tell

1:53:20 me, "Anything close, you got to be

1:53:22 swinging."

1:53:23 Two-strike approach.

1:53:24 >> In T-ball?

1:53:28 >> Yes.

1:53:34 I think there's a lot of two-strike

1:53:35 approaches in T-ball.

1:53:39 They They They may be They may be the

1:53:41 designated fielder in T-ball.

1:53:45 I just sit out there in right field

1:53:46 sniffing those

1:53:47 >> You were the Mark Smith of Valonia,

1:53:49 Arkansas.

1:53:50 >> Sniffing those Sniffing those

1:53:53 flowers.

1:53:54 >> YOU'RE SITTING AT SECOND BASE

1:53:56 playing with the dirt and smelling

1:53:57 smensils.

1:53:58 >> I found a four-leaf clover once an

1:54:00 inning. Not once a game, once an inning.

1:54:02 >> See, I was more the guy who played left

1:54:04 bench and read Frog and Toad.

1:54:09 >> Our pitcher's ERA was terrible. What was

1:54:10 I supposed to do?

1:54:14 Superman that oh.

1:54:18 Down the Euphrates River.

1:54:20 Getting another look. Oh. That can't

1:54:22 feel good.

1:54:24 >> He wanted the protection.

1:54:25 >> What an astute observation.

1:54:28 >> I heard that a time or two.

1:54:47 Nice.

1:54:49 Top of the sixth, Coconuts held off the

1:54:51 board.

1:54:54 And it is finally time for everyone's

1:54:57 favorite part of the night. Say hi to

1:54:59 the child, A.J. Curse.

1:55:01 >> universal, and tonight we're going to do

1:55:04 both at the same time. So I need

1:55:07 everyone who's able to get up out of

1:55:11 your seats, on your feet, get those

1:55:15 light up wristbands up in the sky

1:55:18 because we ARE ABOUT TO LIGHT UP "HEY

1:55:21 BABY."

1:55:23 Let's get those hands clapping.

1:55:35 Here we go.

1:55:49 Once again.

1:55:51 No,

1:55:52 that light WAS $13 MILLION.

1:55:55 STOP. PLEASE.

1:56:01 [ __ ] you, dude. So violent.

1:56:08 I don't like playing this game with you.

1:56:10 You don't play fair.

1:56:13 This is cruel and mean.

1:56:15 You know what? MY SECURITY'S HERE.

1:56:17 YOU'RE DONE.

1:56:19 YEAH, now what, huh? Now what? Now what?

1:56:23 Yeah.

1:56:29 What the [ __ ]

1:56:33 Huh?

1:56:34 Huh?

1:56:40 Yeah.

1:56:43 I got her.

1:56:45 I don't think when Jessie Cole at the

1:56:47 advent of "Hey baby"

1:56:49 had this in mind

1:56:51 for greeting the child.

1:56:55 >> WHAT?

1:56:56 HEY, GIVE ME ONE. Give me one.

1:57:01 >> Ouchies.

1:57:07 You're bleeding.

1:57:12 I'm actually bleeding.

1:57:14 The security man.

1:57:16 He did things to me I don't like.

1:57:20 My knee.

1:57:22 Can we get first aid?

1:57:25 >> I would help you clean it up but that's

1:57:27 how diseases are transferred.

1:57:33 >> You mean you don't want mine?

1:57:36 You you

1:57:40 had one too many of the happy drinks

1:57:41 last night and disclosed that

1:57:44 you

1:57:44 you owe [ __ ] me.

1:57:46 You were hippo you hippo me. You can't

1:57:48 you can't

1:57:50 We both shared with each other our our

1:57:51 medical history.

1:57:53 I don't think I want I don't think I

1:57:55 want any of that.

1:57:56 >> I think I won that battle.

1:57:58 >> Andy Archer

1:58:00 Oh, I want SOME OF THAT.

1:58:03 RIGHT NOW.

1:58:06 I STRIKE OUT FOR BIG ARCH.

1:58:10 I actually need to get this knee figured

1:58:12 out.

1:58:13 >> Throw some gaff tape on it.

1:58:20 >> Hey.

1:58:21 Shout out to the Aviator's staff.

1:58:24 Band Band-Aids for the Band-Aid and a

1:58:26 wound wipe.

1:58:29 The party animals by the way A.J. The

1:58:32 second time to the lineup.

1:58:34 Struck out five times.

1:58:44 Each of those five against Andy Archer.

1:59:00 >> Hampton, good take out.

1:59:04 Neither team has thrown a ball for

1:59:06 Sprint tonight.

1:59:07 We're in the bottom of the sixth.

1:59:12 Right on cue. It helps the animals.

1:59:15 Reece won't test the Loco Beets Ball for

1:59:18 Sprint defense. He stays at first base.

1:59:21 >> Can I tell you a secret?

1:59:23 >> Yeah.

1:59:24 >> That wound wipe really hurt it.

1:59:29 >> There's alcohol in that.

1:59:32 Don't eat it.

1:59:33 >> Oh.

1:59:42 >> Ballard, right field, this is a base

1:59:44 hit.

1:59:45 Hampton!

1:59:47 He might get the wave! HE'S GETTING THE

1:59:49 WAVE!

1:59:50 THE PLAY AT THE PLATE! HE

1:59:53 IS SAFE!

1:59:54 THE PARTY ANIMALS HAVE WALKED OFF THE

1:59:56 SIXTH INNING!

2:00:05 It is immediately challenged by Mark

2:00:07 Rocco. Shane Victorino Victorino was on

2:00:10 top of the play.

2:00:13 He's safe.

2:00:15 >> Drake, from that angle, touch the plate.

2:00:18 >> I took that That angle is going to be

2:00:19 tough

2:00:20 >> It

2:00:24 >> Yeah, I think he's safe. He's safe.

2:00:31 >> Hey.

2:00:31 >> Both of these replays have shown us

2:00:35 that the Loco Beets Coconuts and their

2:00:36 their fielders are running off.

2:00:38 The entire defense understands. They run

2:00:40 to the dugout.

2:00:42 Loco Beets will lose the challenge.

2:00:45 They have zero of the rest of the

2:00:46 contest. TREY HUDSON SMILING WAY, BOYS.

2:00:53 HEY, smile away again.

2:00:56 Come on, another one?

2:00:59 >> Well, you can't bring the challenge home

2:01:00 with you in your pocket, so I don't mind

2:01:02 it on a bang-bang play trusting your

2:01:03 guys, especially with a relay in from

2:01:06 Gideon.

2:01:08 The best arm in the league, but

2:01:10 ultimately, that is a really, really

2:01:12 good job to evade that tag and get

2:01:14 underneath it. That's why you slide

2:01:15 headfirst.

2:01:16 >> Yep.

2:01:19 Hudson nailed the call. That said, we

2:01:20 still have not gotten an official ruling

2:01:23 from the umpiring crew here

2:01:25 in Las Vegas. They're still looking at

2:01:28 this.

2:01:29 The minute has expired. They've got to

2:01:30 make a call.

2:01:36 I mean, the party animals have taken the

2:01:37 field.

2:01:39 They still have not told us.

2:01:43 Here we go.

2:01:48 >> Safe!

2:01:54 >> Take a bow, Trey Hudson. You nailed it.

2:01:57 Tight play, close call. Reese Hampton

2:02:00 getting the wave from Thomas Shady

2:02:02 Simeon over third base.

2:02:06 Good stuff.

2:02:14 I can't believe it.

2:02:15 Buckle up.

2:02:18 Buckle up.

2:02:20 Sit down.

2:02:21 Stop whatever you're doing.

2:02:25 Middle of surgery at the hospital.

2:02:28 Stop and behold.

2:02:33 Synchronized swimming.

2:02:38 Have you ever seen this?

2:02:42 It is

2:02:43 majestic.

2:02:50 I just want to know what goes into

2:02:52 practicing this. Do one of these guys

2:02:53 have a pool?

2:02:55 It is good.

2:02:59 The first Party Animals so-called Avery

2:03:01 Hughes built so much of this show.

2:03:04 Jake Skole's fiance

2:03:06 and during the Party Animals headline

2:03:08 tour in 2024

2:03:11 in tandem with Jake Leali Big Butter

2:03:13 Connor Higgins and a slew of guys it was

2:03:15 brought up, "What if we did synchronized

2:03:16 swimming?"

2:03:18 And it has evolved into perfection.

2:03:22 I kind of have a feeling more ballparks

2:03:24 in the future are going to start

2:03:25 installing pools not so that the Party

2:03:28 Animals can come do this.

2:03:31 It was funny enough in the middle of the

2:03:33 field with the tarp acting as the deep

2:03:35 blue.

2:03:37 But this is next level.

2:03:47 Grab a towel, boys.

2:03:49 You've earned it.

2:03:59 Ryan Rodriguez, the Sexy Mexi.

2:04:13 What a rude hello. He's got to face

2:04:14 Hasbany Vining.

2:04:19 Ryan Rod

2:04:21 making his seventh appearance in 2026

2:04:25 has allowed four runs

2:04:29 all four earned in his five innings

2:04:30 pitched this year.

2:04:34 My goodness.

2:04:38 He's ahead on Vining, one, two.

2:04:41 In his career, Vining's really been the

2:04:42 kryptonite against this Party Animals

2:04:44 team specifically.

2:04:50 But Rodriguez and his change of pace

2:04:53 from what you just saw clearly has

2:04:55 Vining out in front right now.

2:04:58 Tough to fool Vining though, who keeps

2:05:00 fighting it off.

2:05:06 His ability to change pace and change

2:05:08 speed

2:05:12 velocity, that is.

2:05:14 So impressive. Very tough play for

2:05:16 Baver.

2:05:17 No, it's not.

2:05:19 He's Derek Ginger for a reason.

2:05:26 And that reason is that he is ginger.

2:05:30 Doesn't hurt he can do that though, too.

2:05:31 Really good play. Dustin Baver's charged

2:05:33 and got Ashley Vining by a few feet.

2:05:41 It's time for a 7-2-2, a Rod-Rod 2-2.

2:06:06 Rod-Rod's

2:06:08 a bit outside.

2:06:22 No man's land. Left field. A CUP? NO!

2:06:25 DIVING PLAY! BAVER CAN'T COME UP WITH

2:06:28 IT. IT'S IN FAIR TERRITORY.

2:06:31 And it's a

2:06:32 double

2:06:34 for Gideon Antal.

2:06:36 Sometimes when you're playing as well as

2:06:38 Gideon Antal, it feels like nothing

2:06:40 can't go your way.

2:06:42 By no means a particularly hard-hit

2:06:44 ball, well struck. No, it just found its

2:06:46 way to the Bermuda Triangle. Great chase

2:06:48 from Fisher, but that is the definition

2:06:50 of no man's land. Right hugged up

2:06:52 against the foul line in that part of

2:06:53 the park. It's really hard for even the

2:06:56 best fielders to get a read and get

2:06:57 there in time.

2:06:58 >> That's the second time Fisher's been

2:07:00 bitten by an impossible play that he

2:07:02 tracks down.

2:07:03 Just hits off of his glove.

2:07:10 Fish has displayed incredible range.

2:07:11 These are just well-struck balls,

2:07:13 well-placed balls.

2:07:27 Straightaway center.

2:07:30 Reece Hampton

2:07:32 collects the out of Grady Morgan.

2:07:34 A.J.

2:07:37 >> Drake

2:07:38 >> Last night

2:07:39 >> Last night

2:07:40 >> 25 combined runs

2:07:42 >> 25 combined runs

2:07:43 >> between these two teams.

2:07:45 >> 20 came from Loco Beach. J.D. Orso's in

2:07:47 for Payton Shotwell. Interesting.

2:07:50 Maybe making his debut at shortstop then

2:07:52 as well. This gets really, really

2:07:53 interesting for J.D.

2:07:56 Him and I are taking a two-day trip to

2:07:57 the Grand Canyon starting tomorrow.

2:08:00 Celebrate no longer being

2:08:03 21 years of age.

2:08:04 >> Is it a two-way trip?

2:08:06 >> No, we're flying out of Phoenix.

2:08:12 Orso is one of my favorite personalities

2:08:14 in the entirety of this league. He's

2:08:15 just a guy who gets it. He's been dealt

2:08:16 such a hard hand.

2:08:18 Being stuck behind a third-rounder at

2:08:20 his position, Payton Shotwell, but he

2:08:21 shows up to work every day. He grinds

2:08:24 his tail off for moments like this.

2:08:30 Reminds me a lot of the role Sal

2:08:31 Giacobbo played last year with the Party

2:08:33 Animals.

2:08:34 Take it where you can get it.

2:08:35 And Giacobbo has now earned himself a

2:08:37 everyday spot

2:08:39 with the Coconuts. Urso could soon do

2:08:41 the same.

2:08:44 Ball four sprint.

2:08:46 Every fielder for the Party Animals has

2:08:48 to touch the ball. The Coconuts can go

2:08:50 as far as they want. Getting an answer

2:08:52 will score.

2:08:53 And the Nuts

2:08:55 lead the seventh inning one run to zero.

2:08:57 >> Well, when you're looking to carve out a

2:08:58 spot for yourself in one of the toughest

2:09:01 lineups in the league, if not the

2:09:02 toughest lineup in the league to do

2:09:04 such, plate appearances like that will

2:09:05 help. It's an RBI ball four sprint for

2:09:08 JD Urso that brings Blake Benson and

2:09:10 Danae Benitez out to celebrate. Man,

2:09:14 these are two of the best dancers in the

2:09:15 league.

2:09:21 What is she bad at? What What is What is

2:09:23 she not good at?

2:09:25 I love when women

2:09:31 Today is just amazing. Yeah, that's a

2:09:33 good point. I'm really trying to think

2:09:35 of something she's bad at.

2:09:40 Talking to Mark Crocco today, the head

2:09:42 coach of the Long Beach Coconuts, he

2:09:44 said,

2:09:45 "She's got heart.

2:09:46 She's just a kind human being."

2:09:53 2-0, Rodriguez can't find the zone.

2:10:00 Two down here.

2:10:02 Right Rod just needs one pitch.

2:10:20 Deep right FIELD FOR SAL JACOMO! SAL

2:10:23 JACOMO! YOUR FIRST HOME RUN IN THE

2:10:26 BANANA BALL CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE COMES

2:10:29 AGAINST YOUR FORMER TEAM, THE PARTY

2:10:32 ANIMALS.

2:10:33 >> Against your former team, the first of

2:10:36 the year.

2:10:38 >> Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. What do we got?

2:10:39 What do we have? What I don't know.

2:10:40 >> to just take in this moment?

2:10:42 >> know. Cole, you just take the lead.

2:10:42 >> Okay, okay. I thought he WAS SETTING ME

2:10:44 UP for something. Take that, Jacomo.

2:10:48 >> Sal Jacomo!

2:10:52 Huge swing in the top OF THE SEVENTH

2:10:56 INNING.

2:10:57 TOUCH THEM ALL, SALAMANDER.

2:11:01 SEND THAT ONE TO THE synchronized

2:11:03 swimmers, and rightfully fired up is the

2:11:06 trio of runs for Loco Beach in the

2:11:08 seventh, and against his former team,

2:11:11 Jacomo gets his first yard call of the

2:11:13 season.

2:11:14 The Salamander

2:11:18 with magic in the bat.

2:11:22 He did not hit in last night's game.

2:11:41 After a night where Sal didn't step to

2:11:43 the plate one time,

2:11:45 comes out in this ball game.

2:11:47 He didn't start this game

2:11:51 in the lineup.

2:11:54 It was Danny Benitez who had the nine

2:11:56 hole. Sal Jacomo slid it in

2:12:00 mid-game

2:12:01 and goes bomb.

2:12:14 Ball's going to hold it just one base

2:12:15 with the ball for a sprint for me, the

2:12:17 unsung hero there. I'll go back to it.

2:12:18 It's what J.D. Ursso did with two outs

2:12:20 to bring Sal Giacobbe to the plate.

2:12:22 >> Yeah.

2:12:22 >> Without that ball four sprint, we don't

2:12:24 see that Sal Giacobbe home run, at least

2:12:26 not in that moment. And that's the

2:12:28 difference between a one run top of the

2:12:29 seventh against a Party Animals team

2:12:31 that showed an innate ability to answer.

2:12:33 And now a three run top of the inning,

2:12:35 where you get the lineup moving back to

2:12:36 the top for Tanner Allen.

2:12:39 The ball four sprinter of our generation

2:12:41 stands on first.

2:12:44 Tanner Allen is one for three.

2:12:46 A double his last time to the dish.

2:13:04 Brian Rodriguez

2:13:07 is struggling with the command right

2:13:08 now. Working on his 29th pitch in this

2:13:11 half inning.

2:13:16 Oh, the synchronized swimmers are back.

2:13:19 They have returned.

2:13:24 Behold.

2:13:26 They don't have

2:13:28 to put their shirts on, I guess.

2:13:33 I mean, they don't want to.

2:13:35 Whatever.

2:13:42 Like, it's not that it's not a big of a

2:13:43 deal.

2:13:46 Why did you immediately follow that up

2:13:48 by taking Tylenol?

2:13:54 Ball gets away from Shane McGrino.

2:13:57 MALDONADO PLATE. THE PLATE THE PLATE.

2:13:59 OH, HE'S OUT. WOW!

2:14:02 MY GOODNESS, BIG BALL TO ANDY COSGROVE.

2:14:07 ROOKIE TO SOPHOMORE, WHAT A CONNECTION.

2:14:11 WOW, MAGICAL.

2:14:18 HEY, down 3-0 in the inning, I'm sorry,

2:14:21 I'm not going to stop believing.

2:14:25 >> to get up out of your seats,

2:14:28 on your feet. I need you to get those

2:14:31 light up wristbands up in the air,

2:14:33 swaying side to side as we welcome Party

2:14:36 Down to the field and all join in

2:14:39 together to sing, "Don't Stop

2:14:43 Believin'."

2:14:46 >> Just a small town girl

2:14:50 living living in a lonely world.

2:14:55 She took the midnight train going

2:14:57 anywhere.

2:15:03 Just a city boy

2:15:07 born and raised in

2:15:11 He took the midnight train going

2:15:14 anywhere.

2:15:35 A singer in a smoky room

2:15:39 the smell of wine

2:15:43 For a smile they can share the night, it

2:15:46 goes on and on and on and on.

2:15:50 Strangers

2:15:52 waiting

2:15:55 up and down the boulevard,

2:15:58 their shadows

2:16:00 searching

2:16:00 for love in the night.

2:16:06 Sing, "Don't stop believing."

2:16:08 >> What?

2:16:09 >> Don't stop.

2:16:12 Hold on to that feeling.

2:16:21 One more time, sing it. Don't stop.

2:16:27 Hold on

2:16:28 to that feeling.

2:16:39 Don't stop.

2:16:48 >> Well, that never gets old.

2:16:53 Section 102.

2:16:58 Row four.

2:17:03 Three people just stood up to go to the

2:17:04 bathroom. Family of three.

2:17:06 They'll be back in a second.

2:17:08 And those may be the only empty seats

2:17:11 in Las Vegas Ballpark.

2:17:14 That kind of crowd, an incredible

2:17:15 atmosphere on a Saturday night.

2:17:18 And the 10,000-plus will be treated to

2:17:20 Brett Carson.

2:17:21 >> Paves the path to dual-threat Brett.

2:17:23 He's been carving out more and more of a

2:17:25 role in the lineup.

2:17:27 Still so, so important, however, on the

2:17:29 mound for this Loco Beach team. One and

2:17:31 oh, the record. The ERA has ballooned a

2:17:34 bit due to some control issues in his

2:17:36 last couple of outings. But Brett

2:17:38 Carson, when he's at his best and in the

2:17:40 zone, is really, really tough for

2:17:43 opposing batters to face because he has

2:17:45 deceptive stuff

2:17:47 that all jumps in different directions

2:17:49 at the last moment. Look, if you're up

2:17:51 with us on Saturday, May 2nd, at 11:38

2:17:55 on the East Coast still watching this

2:17:56 game, you know ball. You know baseball.

2:17:58 So, here's a Here's a tier tier three

2:18:01 baseball analysis. Jake Skole, the MVP

2:18:03 of the dish, animal style three runs to

2:18:06 zero in the inning.

2:18:07 Tier three analysis.

2:18:09 Ryan Rodriguez struggled with control in

2:18:11 the top of the seventh. That led to a

2:18:13 long half inning. Brett Carson has

2:18:15 struggled with control this year.

2:18:17 If we see

2:18:19 two or three ball four sprints here,

2:18:22 you start to look at the clock and once

2:18:24 again think about where that time is,

2:18:26 knowing the Party Animals have had three

2:18:27 straight games

2:18:29 not getting to the ninth.

2:18:31 >> Bingo. It's even more of a hot topic

2:18:33 with recent history here for the Party

2:18:35 Animals. These two teams

2:18:37 didn't get through nine innings on night

2:18:39 one or two of this series.

2:18:41 Heading into this year, the Party

2:18:42 Animals were the common denominator in

2:18:44 games that didn't go nine. They're just

2:18:45 so entertaining. And that's entertaining

2:18:47 as well. Brett Carson

2:18:51 runs away from the MVP's barrel. The

2:18:53 third strikeout for Jake Skol.

2:18:58 Rare O for game for X.

2:19:01 Brett Carson says clock it.

2:19:04 One down.

2:19:05 22 to play.

2:19:15 Rodriguez threw three ball four sprints

2:19:18 in the aforementioned

2:19:22 half inning of work for the sexy Mexi.

2:19:24 Brett Carson got a quick out.

2:19:26 There's another one.

2:19:29 AND JUST FOR GOOD MEASURE, THE throw to

2:19:31 first.

2:19:33 That's more than good measure. That's a

2:19:34 trick play and a big one from JD Urso.

2:19:37 Sal Jacobo's moved to shortstop. JD

2:19:40 Urso's taken his spot at second.

2:19:42 >> That's I don't see a trick play there.

2:19:45 Let's see a replay if we can again.

2:19:46 There was no trick play. I think Urso

2:19:47 may have caught it in the air and didn't

2:19:49 want to.

2:19:54 I'd love another look at that cuz that's

2:19:56 pivotal in this point of the game.

2:19:57 >> is.

2:19:59 >> I've got no trick play on first look,

2:20:01 but if we could get a replay, we'd love

2:20:03 to see it.

2:20:07 Based on the frustration on his face,

2:20:08 I'm going to side with what you're

2:20:10 saying.

2:20:10 >> Swanny, this should be a trick play.

2:20:12 Behind the back

2:20:13 and under THE LEGS.

2:20:16 IT'S TWO OF THEM.

2:20:18 FOR LOCO BEACH.

2:20:21 AND WE'RE TIED.

2:20:24 2-2 ballgame. JD Ursillo leaves no doubt

2:20:27 this time. We go around the world and

2:20:29 between the legs. Double trick play in a

2:20:32 big one as Jordan Brewer and company

2:20:34 fired up. It's knotted at pairs as we

2:20:36 head to the eighth.

2:20:38 Look at that. That's the emotion.

2:20:40 That's the care.

2:20:42 That's the beach.

2:20:46 And we are

2:20:47 so lit. We get lit.

2:20:50 >> You are going to be doing the dance

2:20:52 >> That's a bot.

2:20:53 >> that the party starters are doing.

2:20:57 Get ready.

2:21:48 So, the concept here of Get Lit

2:21:51 is as the video board shows different

2:21:54 prompts of dances like the chicken dance

2:21:56 and the cupid shuffle.

2:21:58 The crowd will participate. And you at

2:22:00 home in the YouTube chat have to guess

2:22:02 what dance they're doing.

2:22:04 Ah.

2:22:07 Make them work for it.

2:22:10 It's like a crossword puzzle but for

2:22:11 your body.

2:22:13 I would really uh

2:22:15 really hope that when you hear gangnam

2:22:16 style you'll be able to know what

2:22:18 they're doing.

2:22:24 But if not I ruined the surprise. Really

2:22:27 what I've got my eyes on right now Drake

2:22:28 in a 2-2 ballgame.

2:22:30 Heading to the eighth inning. Look at

2:22:31 the trick plays. They've got the party

2:22:33 animals at eight, the coconuts at seven.

2:22:35 This equalizer point is very much up for

2:22:37 grabs.

2:22:39 It's going to be up to Dylan Porter to

2:22:40 find a way

2:22:42 to get his guys a little bit of a

2:22:44 cushion before the bottom half of the

2:22:45 eighth.

2:22:47 All the

2:22:49 shorties in the in the club let me see

2:22:50 your chest.

2:22:54 Wobble baby wobble baby

2:22:56 wobble baby wobble.

2:23:00 Homerun in a silo.

2:23:02 Big bowl.

2:23:07 Party animals need some trick plays AJ.

2:23:10 I'm shocked he didn't go for one there.

2:23:11 Just tip it to Baber and let him get in

2:23:13 the hat for two of them. That could have

2:23:14 put things away. Instead that's actually

2:23:17 a fairly productive out from Dane Toplin

2:23:20 because it doesn't turn into a trick

2:23:22 play in a game that's tied and the

2:23:24 equalizer point could be the difference

2:23:26 maker.

2:23:33 I want to go back to that Urso play

2:23:34 where he caught it

2:23:37 on a line drive that line out.

2:23:39 If that thing just bounces once

2:23:41 this game is tied at eight trick plays a

2:23:43 piece.

2:23:44 Urso could have gone between the legs,

2:23:46 behind the back, whatever he wanted to

2:23:47 do.

2:23:49 Ah, the old game of what if, right?

2:23:52 Swing and a miss. Frosburg, a strikeout,

2:23:55 an over four night after he was world

2:23:57 beating 24 hours ago.

2:24:01 Dylan Porter

2:24:03 has proven to be

2:24:05 the best arm in the bullpen for the

2:24:06 Party Animals.

2:24:08 And what a story it is.

2:24:10 To take a year off of Banana Ball to

2:24:11 play independent baseball

2:24:14 after the 2024 season.

2:24:16 Following 2025 out in California,

2:24:18 playing Indy Ball,

2:24:19 he's drafted to the Party Animals, and

2:24:22 he's been

2:24:23 pivotal for this team's success.

2:24:28 Porter

2:24:29 making his eighth appearance.

2:24:34 And in now eight and two-thirds, he has

2:24:36 11 strikeouts.

2:24:43 It's one of my favorite stories as well.

2:24:45 Really speaks to Banana Ball and its

2:24:47 draw, its appeal for the player

2:24:48 specifically. That after trying

2:24:50 something else, Porter wanted to come

2:24:52 right back to the pink and green.

2:24:54 THE PISTOL SQUAD, TRICK PITCH.

2:24:58 OH, BABER, TOUGH BOUNCER. NO, SWAN TRIED

2:25:02 TO GO BEHIND THE BACK, just too

2:25:04 aggressive.

2:25:07 I think if Baber goes between the legs

2:25:10 here, Swan's got a much better shot at

2:25:12 that.

2:25:15 Yeah, the bounce is really tough if

2:25:16 you're looking for the double trick

2:25:18 play.

2:25:19 In that moment for Swan, you probably

2:25:20 just want to grab it normal and

2:25:21 >> I think so. I think so.

2:25:23 >> the one trick play.

2:25:25 >> Once Baber opts to bounce, Swan at that

2:25:28 point, I think you've you've just got to

2:25:30 catch it clean.

2:25:33 Bingo.

2:25:34 >> The equalizer forces these moments.

2:25:36 It's why it exists.

2:25:43 >> Woo!

2:25:46 >> Oh.

2:25:48 Asby finding is swagging.

2:25:52 John Anderson style.

2:25:55 I got that one.

2:25:59 0-2

2:26:01 Ooh.

2:26:05 Will Porter go pistol squat again?

2:26:14 Not with the runner at first. Babe

2:26:16 redemption. Babe her

2:26:19 Wow.

2:26:20 I mean, that's a mistake, Drake. What is

2:26:24 You've got to have a trick play there.

2:26:27 Let's go back to the one from Ursa that

2:26:29 I just mentioned, by the way. We have a

2:26:31 clean replay of it now. Couldn't tell if

2:26:33 it was a line drive.

2:26:35 >> Hey, little bit.

2:26:36 >> And I

2:26:40 Let's see. I I don't know. Let's slow

2:26:42 that down. If we can back that up and

2:26:43 slow it down. Cuz AJ, you saw a trick

2:26:45 play. I thought he may have caught on a

2:26:47 line drive. It does look like it

2:26:48 bounces.

2:26:49 Yeah.

2:26:52 I don't think he's going between the

2:26:53 legs. That toss up in the air is not a

2:26:55 trick play.

2:26:57 The optic from this angle almost looks

2:26:59 as if he's trying to go between the

2:27:00 legs, but I'm not sure if that's the

2:27:01 true case. Let's see it again.

2:27:05 Is that between the legs?

2:27:08 It's an optical illusion, because every

2:27:09 time that I watch it, I'm getting more

2:27:11 confused. I DON'T THINK IT I

2:27:14 I mean, look at that. Did he I don't

2:27:16 think it is. I don't think it is. From

2:27:18 this angle, certainly.

2:27:21 But if if if that is

2:27:24 I'm going to make myself useful and go

2:27:25 run over and ask our official scorer.

2:27:27 I'll be right back. Yeah, here are the

2:27:29 other trick plays that have been

2:27:31 confirmed in our game so far. 8 to 7

2:27:35 is the score. Party Animals leading in

2:27:37 the trick play category, the equalizer

2:27:39 point. If the visiting team has more

2:27:42 trick plays

2:27:43 going into

2:27:45 the final inning of the game, they're

2:27:47 awarded an extra point.

2:27:50 We are in the eighth inning. If the Loco

2:27:53 Beach Coconuts

2:27:54 garner two trick plays

2:27:57 in the bottom of the eighth, they'll

2:27:59 have a 3-2 lead headed into the ninth.

2:28:01 That is obviously game changer.

2:28:03 >> Got confirmation here. The official

2:28:05 trick play count is eight to seven in

2:28:07 favor of the Party Animals. Not a trick

2:28:09 play, you're right. The optics look like

2:28:10 he was trying to go between the legs,

2:28:12 never actually did. The ball did hit the

2:28:14 ground, but there was no trick play

2:28:16 converted from JD Urso. So, dead on the

2:28:18 money. The Coconuts are going to need

2:28:19 two this inning to take the lead.

2:28:22 >> Thank you, Gene.

2:28:28 I got that one, too.

2:28:31 Chase Eykamp, I love conversations like

2:28:33 that, man. The Again, the tier three

2:28:35 conversations about banana ball. For

2:28:37 those that are up watching right now,

2:28:38 you understand those.

2:28:40 And look,

2:28:42 that's that's that's tight. That

2:28:44 deserved a a conversation. You you, the

2:28:46 viewer, get to go in the mind

2:28:49 of those following the intricate rules

2:28:52 within the rules of our game.

2:28:59 Eykamp,

2:29:01 base hit. THIS ONE'S STILL GOING TO THE

2:29:03 WALL. CHASE EYKAMP, RUN, young man.

2:29:09 Picks up a double.

2:29:10 Now, the flip side,

2:29:12 that is

2:29:13 Loco Beach could win the equalizer, go

2:29:15 up three to two, or the Party Animals

2:29:17 can just walk off this inning.

2:29:20 That could be detrimental. I mean, a

2:29:22 ball four sprint here

2:29:24 not only walks off the inning now for

2:29:25 the Party Animals,

2:29:27 but it ensures that Loco Beach can't get

2:29:29 the equalizer. This is a two-point swing

2:29:32 we're looking at right here, one way or

2:29:33 another.

2:29:34 >> Baber, this is where banana ball forces

2:29:36 you to swing the bat. Obvious bunting

2:29:38 situation.

2:29:40 >> He bunts well. But, bunting sucks.

2:29:42 You're forced to swing the bat here.

2:29:44 Or, Baber could lay one down, move A

2:29:46 Cuff to third.

2:29:47 No Not a very large chance you'd get a

2:29:51 trick play against a bunt. This is the

2:29:53 moment for it. You just can't.

2:29:56 Baber!

2:29:59 CENTER FIELD ALLEN GOING BACK! IT'S OVER

2:30:01 HIS HEAD!

2:30:03 THAT'S WHY BUNTING SUCKS!

2:30:06 DUSTIN BABER JUST WALKED OFF THE EIGHTH,

2:30:09 AND THE PARTY ANIMALS

2:30:11 HAVE A 3-2 LEAD TO THE NINTH.

2:30:14 I AIN'T NEED NO TRICK PLAYS.

2:30:18 BABER'S

2:30:20 CAN HAVE A DOUBLE.

2:30:41 >> YES. YES. YES.

2:30:52 >> What a big swing in that moment from

2:30:55 Dustin Baber.

2:30:57 Tanner Allen back showing.

2:30:59 He had to go full wind sprint just to

2:31:01 get to it. Made it to the deepest part

2:31:03 of the park, 415, and stalled up for a

2:31:06 walk-off double, and all the emotions

2:31:08 flare.

2:31:09 Baber saying,

2:31:11 "Let's dang go, you guys! Yeah!"

2:31:16 Nice.

2:31:19 >> As only Baber's can do.

2:31:20 >> would just hear a dolphin noises.

2:31:25 What what what the Now, what kind of

2:31:27 dolphins have you been AROUND LATELY?

2:31:30 YES, THAT GO

2:31:33 GOOD JOB.

2:31:34 You ever met a dolphin before?

2:31:36 >> We saw them together.

2:31:37 >> Go go go good job.

2:31:39 >> On your boat and they were speaking to

2:31:41 me.

2:31:42 >> Nachos Nachos living head.

2:31:44 >> My dad's boat.

2:31:44 >> My boat.

2:31:46 >> Thanks, dad.

2:31:48 >> That's Sean Fluke.

2:31:50 Sean didn't give a big day.

2:31:52 >> Recording a video for Peter Holton.

2:31:55 And Eddie Castro

2:31:57 >> What is Fluke doing?

2:31:58 >> He's making dolphin noises.

2:32:04 Are your dolphins scared?

2:32:09 IT IS THE NINTH INNING. EVERY RUN COUNTS

2:32:11 AS A POINT.

2:32:13 Peter Holden will close. GIDEON ANTLE AT

2:32:16 THE DISH.

2:32:17 LET'S DO SOME BANANA BALL.

2:32:20 You ready, kid?

2:32:21 >> Aye, aye, captain.

2:32:24 >> Antle, hero of Tallahassee.

2:32:26 A home run to keep

2:32:29 the Loco Beach Coconuts alive against

2:32:32 the Firefighters on the first night of

2:32:34 the 2026 season.

2:32:40 And it didn't just keep the Coconuts

2:32:42 alive, it gave them a lead in a game

2:32:43 where they trailed.

2:32:45 Now, Gideon Antle

2:32:48 pressure cooker

2:32:50 faces Peter Holton.

2:32:55 Antle

2:32:57 has DONE IT AGAIN. IT'S BOUNCED OFF THE

2:32:59 WALL. ANTLE

2:33:02 WILL SETTLE FOR THE STAND-UP DOUBLE, BUT

2:33:04 HOW BIG IS THAT?

2:33:06 BIGGER THAN BIG, LARGER THAN LARGE, IT'S

2:33:09 THE BIGGEST THE LARGEST. AGAIN, GIDEON

2:33:11 ANTLE, MR. PRIMETIME. ALWAYS ELEVATES

2:33:15 HIS PLAY when it matters most. That's

2:33:17 why you want him up in the biggest

2:33:19 moments. Let's talk dirty in Hawaiian.

2:33:22 Coconuts, golden batter time.

2:33:24 >> Ladies and gentlemen, the local beach

2:33:27 coconuts are invoking the golden batter

2:33:30 rule. Hitting in place of Brady Morgan

2:33:33 is your golden batter, Jordan Brewer.

2:33:40 >> WELL, YOU TALK about guys you want in

2:33:41 the biggest moments, the biggest spots.

2:33:44 That's where the golden batter rule

2:33:46 comes into play.

2:33:49 It's what separates

2:33:51 You get the opportunity

2:33:53 to bring anyone you want to the plate.

2:33:56 Third golden batter try for Jordan

2:33:57 Brewer this season.

2:33:59 Tying run on second. He's the go-ahead

2:34:02 at the dish. Mano e mano, who wants it

2:34:05 more?

2:34:21 I have a friend named Peter.

2:34:25 Peter is my friend.

2:34:28 Get up and dance, Peter.

2:34:31 Get up and dance, Peter.

2:34:33 Drake, this season, the Party Animals

2:34:35 have had eight save opportunities.

2:34:37 They've blown seven of them.

2:34:39 This team has not been able to close out

2:34:41 a win

2:34:42 if they were getting offered money to do

2:34:43 it.

2:34:44 I'm just saying it how it is. They are

2:34:46 one for eight in save opportunities this

2:34:48 season. They've given a new man a look,

2:34:50 Peter Holden, to try to be that guy.

2:34:52 This is where you prove it. I just threw

2:34:53 up all over myself.

2:34:56 Great pitch from Holden and a swing from

2:34:58 Brewer on the 3-0.

2:35:03 The late innings have been catastrophic

2:35:05 for the Animals and the opposite for the

2:35:07 comeback Coconuts.

2:35:15 Holden

2:35:17 with Hampton playing in, DUE TO THE

2:35:19 THREE-BALL COUNT, HE'S STILL GOT THE

2:35:21 RANGE.

2:35:23 Hampton shading forward.

2:35:26 He knows that on ball four, he's got to

2:35:30 sprint in.

2:35:32 Even so,

2:35:34 just that fast to track it down, and

2:35:36 there's one out. How the turntables. All

2:35:38 of a sudden, JD Hershiser has the

2:35:41 biggest at bat of the game. This is a

2:35:42 guy who has not started

2:35:45 this weekend.

2:35:47 And now he's got a chance to play hero.

2:35:52 What a moment this would be.

2:35:58 Productive out from Brewer as the tying

2:36:00 point 90 ft from scoring.

2:36:04 Holden's 1-0.

2:36:09 Did something very similar to Jordan

2:36:11 Brewer,

2:36:12 and had to work back from it.

2:36:20 The big LEFTY FINDS THE ZONE.

2:36:22 Headed foul. It is foul. Man, that

2:36:25 little kid could have changed all of our

2:36:27 lives.

2:36:29 The fans cannot come up with it.

2:36:35 Two or three folks had an opportunity.

2:36:37 Instead, it falls idle, and the count is

2:36:39 2-1.

2:36:41 Hershiser.

2:36:43 Watches Holden outside. A ball four

2:36:45 sprint would tie the game.

2:36:49 Knutt loves it.

2:36:55 Hitter's count.

2:37:00 What else did YOU WANT?

2:37:04 WHAT DID YOU ASK FOR THAT you have not

2:37:05 gotten?

2:37:07 What do you need?

2:37:10 It can be found in the breast of Banana

2:37:12 Ball.

2:37:15 THE PAYOFF.

2:37:16 IT'S OUTSIDE AND WE'RE TIED.

2:37:20 LOCO BEACH.

2:37:23 URSO wants two hits.

2:37:25 OUT! DUCK!

2:37:27 MOMENTS WILL FLIP. URSO CAN'T BELIEVE

2:37:30 IT. THE COCONUTS DON'T HAVE A CHALLENGE.

2:37:33 THEY NEED the fans here. I I need

2:37:35 another look at this right now.

2:37:41 Oh, come on. He's clearly safe.

2:37:44 >> Oh, no.

2:37:45 >> Oh, what a game-changing play.

2:37:47 >> Oh, no.

2:37:49 That's not what you want to see.

2:37:50 >> Oh, wow. Now the Coconuts coming out of

2:37:52 the dugout. You got to pull them You've

2:37:53 got it to pull them back. You cannot

2:37:56 have this.

2:37:58 Eric Rosberg is livid.

2:37:59 >> Rosberg just went out on the field and

2:38:01 >> He ran out on the field toward the

2:38:03 umpire. We cannot

2:38:04 >> Joe Jolley said, "Get back in the

2:38:05 dugout." Wow, what a moment in this

2:38:08 game. That's not what you ever want to

2:38:10 see. JD Urso works a ball four spread

2:38:12 and hustles to get to second.

2:38:15 I mean, I get the frustration. I I You

2:38:17 know what? At the same time,

2:38:19 this is a league.

2:38:21 This is a league.

2:38:24 These guys want to win now more than

2:38:25 ever and they're right to be upset at

2:38:27 the call. But, they burned their

2:38:29 challenge earlier in the game.

2:38:32 On a play at home plate.

2:38:35 An incorrect challenge. They lost it.

2:38:46 Two strike

2:38:48 on Sal Giacobbo.

2:38:51 Oh, wow.

2:38:53 We play on.

2:38:56 Still huge to tie the game there. A

2:38:57 massive break for the Party Animals.

2:38:59 Huge to tie the game. Sal Giacobbo.

2:39:03 Let's go to the bottom of the ninth.

2:39:05 The Party Animals need point to win it.

2:39:17 Mikey Ballard

2:39:19 who's played the full nine at third base

2:39:20 tonight.

2:39:24 Now, how does this

2:39:26 sway the momentum, the moxie of the Loco

2:39:29 Beach Coconut's and C.J. Williams?

2:39:33 Drinking at the very top of the show, we

2:39:34 talked about keys to the game. I said

2:39:36 you can never get too high, you can

2:39:38 never get too low. For Loco Beach,

2:39:41 there's frustration. It's palpable. You

2:39:44 can see it on everyone's faces. They

2:39:46 feel J.D. Urso was safe at second base.

2:39:48 But, regardless, the call has happened

2:39:51 and it's in the past. And that's why you

2:39:52 draft a guy like C.J. Williams for

2:39:55 moments like this, to find a way to

2:39:57 showdowns for the second time in this

2:40:00 series. Williams cannot allow a run.

2:40:03 It's the bottom of the ninth inning in a

2:40:05 tied ballgame. And the biggest trash

2:40:07 talker, the meanest pitcher in the

2:40:09 league, the self-proclaimed villain

2:40:11 who's going to strike you out, point you

2:40:13 in the face, look you in the eyes, and

2:40:15 say, "Go take a seat." Needs to find

2:40:18 three outs to give his bats a chance to

2:40:21 get Loco Beach this rubber match and

2:40:23 this series.

2:40:29 The former visitor,

2:40:31 a member of the of the Banana Ball

2:40:33 developmental team

2:40:34 in 2025,

2:40:37 C.J. Williams,

2:40:40 who cut down the Party Animals in a save

2:40:41 opportunity night two Louisville,

2:40:43 Kentucky, his first weekend in the

2:40:45 sport. And you knew that day a star was

2:40:48 born.

2:40:51 This is huge. I really want to see the

2:40:53 mental toughness of these Coconuts.

2:40:55 Tanner Thomas

2:40:57 at the plate.

2:41:00 No, man.

2:41:02 In five games as the home team in Las

2:41:03 Vegas, Tanner Thomas, in his career, has

2:41:06 three home runs.

2:41:09 Including one tonight.

2:41:17 2-0

2:41:25 >> Oh.

2:41:26 >> 3-0

2:41:29 THOMAS CAN BE SELECTIVE, Williams

2:41:31 cannot.

2:41:36 He had to find the zone, he couldn't.

2:41:38 Thomas

2:41:42 will remain at first base.

2:41:44 Takes the free 90.

2:41:46 Four consecutive balls, and AJ, none of

2:41:48 them were particularly close.

2:41:52 Conventional speaking and thinking tells

2:41:54 you this is a spot you would never try

2:41:56 to steal a base. But the coconuts have

2:41:58 yet to catch a runner stealing.

2:42:01 Through 16 games as a franchise, the

2:42:03 game-winning run moving to second would

2:42:05 mean a ball four sprint would all but

2:42:07 end the game.

2:42:09 The rookie of the year, Andy Cosgrove.

2:42:15 He's entered the game for Bronson Ball

2:42:17 home.

2:42:19 His first plate appearance tonight.

2:42:25 What a scene in Las Vegas.

2:42:45 COS, DOUBLE PLAY BALL.

2:42:48 THERE'S ONE.

2:42:50 AND ONLY ONE.

2:42:56 What a play from Dane Dophlin, though.

2:42:58 On the hot corner, that's game altering.

2:43:00 If that gets by, it's over. Instead,

2:43:03 the Coconuts are able to get the lead

2:43:05 runner. Something on the ground here now

2:43:06 can send us to showdowns.

2:43:09 Eerily similar to night one. The

2:43:11 Coconuts pull off an eighth-inning

2:43:13 comeback. Can CJ Williams

2:43:16 find a couple more outs

2:43:18 and force us to the greatest rule in

2:43:20 sports?

2:43:24 I can't do more showdowns, please.

2:43:26 I'd like to opt out.

2:43:28 No franchise tag on that.

2:43:32 Mark Smith goes.

2:43:35 He's safe. THAT'S HUGE. THAT'S HUGE.

2:43:41 Now a ball four sprint wins the game for

2:43:42 the Party Animals. The speed of Mark

2:43:44 Smith, your designated runner,

2:43:49 anything hit hard, a base hit, it's

2:43:52 That 90 feet is so crucial. You hit the

2:43:54 nail on the head. The Coconuts, that's

2:43:55 their kryptonite.

2:43:58 It's exactly why I mentioned it, right?

2:44:00 That stolen base changes the entire

2:44:02 optics of how you're thinking on the

2:44:04 mound now as CJ Williams. It's got to be

2:44:05 strike, strike, strike.

2:44:08 Williams still has the ball in his hand.

2:44:11 Swing and a miss!

2:44:14 CJ Williams!

2:44:16 LET'S talk dirty IN HAWAIIAN COJONES!

2:44:20 STRIKE, STRIKE, STRIKE! CJ Williams

2:44:24 is a bad, bad man.

2:44:29 No golden batter for the Party Animals.

2:44:31 They want Reese Hampton against CJ.

2:44:35 Hampton,

2:44:37 the switch hitter.

2:44:44 All of a sudden, CJ Williams has settled

2:44:46 in very nicely.

2:44:56 >> The 01

2:44:59 It is now zero balls, two strikes, two

2:45:03 outs, a man at second base tied in the

2:45:07 ninth inning. The Loco Beach Coconuts,

2:45:09 the Party Animals, Las Vegas, Nevada.

2:45:14 Williams eyes his prey.

2:45:17 The righty from the stretch.

2:45:21 WE'RE GOING TO SHOWDOWNS.

2:45:28 FROZEN.

2:45:29 C.J. WILLIAMS

2:45:32 FILLS UP THE ZONE.

2:45:34 Back-to-back punch outs with a runner in

2:45:37 scoring position in the bottom OF THE

2:45:39 NINTH.

2:45:40 C.J. WILLIAMS reminds everyone why he's

2:45:44 the baddest man at the beach. AND FOR

2:45:47 THE SECOND TIME IN THIS SERIES, WE NEED

2:45:51 SHOWDOWNS. LET'S TAKE A LOOK AT THE

2:45:52 rules that make this so unique.

2:45:58 >> No one has gone to showdowns more this

2:46:00 season than the Party Animals. Four

2:46:02 times. This, their fifth.

2:46:06 The Animals won it 7-6 on Thursday.

2:46:11 And you see the rules in front of you.

2:46:13 Round one, pitcher, catcher, fielder.

2:46:16 Round two, simply pitcher and catcher.

2:46:19 And round three,

2:46:22 pitcher, catcher, and the bases loaded.

2:46:25 But that addendum at the bottom that you

2:46:27 saw,

2:46:28 a home run over the fence

2:46:33 wins the game.

2:46:34 Either team.

2:46:38 The visiting Coconuts

2:46:42 will elect their batter now based on the

2:46:44 Party Animals sending Peter Holden

2:46:46 to the bottom.

2:46:48 They've also sent John Howard Bobo out

2:46:50 to the field. Both teams' best fielder

2:46:52 in Showdowns is their right fielder,

2:46:54 Antel and Bobo with plus arms and plus

2:46:56 speed. That's big because balls in play

2:46:59 that get to the outfield don't guarantee

2:47:01 you're winning Showdowns. A fielder can

2:47:03 make a play and changes things.

2:47:05 We'll see if there's an opportunity for

2:47:07 John Howard Bobo against Jordan Brewer.

2:47:09 Mark Crocco and Shane Victorino opted to

2:47:11 use him as the golden batter. What he

2:47:13 did there would be a point here. Roped

2:47:16 to dead center.

2:47:19 But it's a fresh slate.

2:47:23 Brewer walked a ball for a sprint. He

2:47:25 was put at second. Designated runner put

2:47:27 at second.

2:47:29 Before smashing Peter Holden in

2:47:31 Showdowns on Thursday.

2:47:34 Pistol Pete

2:47:38 High and away. The count's 1-1.

2:47:53 A hair up, a hair out.

2:47:58 And Holden knows if he misses against

2:47:59 Brewer there's a ton of power in that

2:48:02 minor league bat.

2:48:05 Brewer!

2:48:07 Fair!

2:48:09 BOBO RACING TO THE BALL! JOHN HOWARD

2:48:12 BOBO'S GOT WHEELS! DOES HE HAVE THE

2:48:14 CANNON?

2:48:16 NO, SIR! THE LOCO BEETS COCONUT'S LEAD

2:48:19 IT

2:48:21 4-3!

2:48:22 OFF THE BIG BAT OF JORDAN BREWER!

2:48:25 DON'T DO IT TO THEM, AQUAMAN! FOR THE

2:48:28 SECOND TIME IN THIS SERIES, Jordan

2:48:31 Brewer SECURES A SHOWDOWN POINT! IT'S

2:48:35 ROPED DOWN the left SIDE OF THE YARD!

2:48:38 RATTLES AROUND IN THE CORNER and in

2:48:40 SPITE OF THE PLUS WHEELS AND ARM OF JOHN

2:48:43 HOWARD BOBO, Jordan Brewer sent CJ

2:48:46 WILLIAMS TO THE MOUND WITH A CHANCE TO

2:48:48 WIN THE GAME and the series in Las

2:48:51 Vegas.

2:48:55 The Party Animals

2:48:59 are six and nine on the season. Nice.

2:49:05 CJ Williams could drop the defending

2:49:07 champions

2:49:08 a banana ball to six and 10.

2:49:20 What a dichotomy

2:49:23 of games at the spectrum of this sport.

2:49:25 Showdowns Thursday, a six-nothing Loco

2:49:28 Beach blowout last night

2:49:30 where they scored 20 runs and tonight

2:49:32 Showdowns again.

2:49:34 Reese Hampton, who just struck out

2:49:37 against CJ Williams,

2:49:40 walking to the plate.

2:49:43 Loco Beach 0 and 2 in Showdowns in their

2:49:45 young history. They've yet to show an

2:49:47 ability to close one out. CJ Williams is

2:49:50 the guy you want out there in this spot.

2:49:53 Just got to find a way.

2:49:59 Hampton

2:50:01 needs but one swing.

2:50:04 He was the first to ever launch a home

2:50:05 run out of the park to win a game in

2:50:07 Showdowns against the Savannah Bananas

2:50:09 in 2023.

2:50:14 At the very least, his team needs him to

2:50:16 tie it.

2:50:34 HAMPTON

2:50:36 DEEP TO RIGHT FIELD.

2:50:39 THIS IS OFF THE WALL.

2:50:42 HAMPTON'S GOT WHEELS.

2:50:45 HE'LL SCORE EASILY.

2:50:51 AND WE ARE HEADED TO ROUND TWO OF

2:50:53 SHOWDOWNS.

2:50:58 THE LOCO BEACH Coconuts are arguing that

2:51:00 Hampton did not touch home plate.

2:51:02 Can we see a replay?

2:51:04 To see if Hampton got the bag.

2:51:06 There's a conversation happening.

2:51:07 Finding touched home.

2:51:09 Trey Hudson now signaling

2:51:13 that Hampton did hit home.

2:51:15 Cosgrove, Andy Cosgrove, the catcher,

2:51:17 trying to explain to Loco Beach Coconuts

2:51:19 exactly how Hampton did it.

2:51:24 Oh my

2:51:25 gosh.

2:51:29 That toe tap.

2:51:34 The toe tap of destiny.

2:51:35 >> With fire.

2:51:37 Wow, Reese Hampton. Couldn't hand pick a

2:51:39 better spot for your first hit of the

2:51:41 night. And what what what a fair gripe

2:51:43 by the Coconuts. That was the right move

2:51:45 to step on home plate.

2:51:50 Peter Holden back out.

2:51:53 Regardless, we need a second round.

2:51:57 And Loco Beach is going to a bat that

2:51:59 they didn't use on night one in 2021.

2:52:00 Tanner Allen was I was shocked in three

2:52:02 rounds of showdowns. Stood on the mound

2:52:05 the entire time.

2:52:06 Now tonight,

2:52:08 the coaching staff likes this match up

2:52:10 against Peter Holden. And how can you

2:52:11 not? You like Tanner Allen in any match

2:52:14 up, the 2021 national player of the

2:52:16 year. National champion. Dominated the

2:52:19 SEC. The face of Mississippi.

2:52:22 Now a Loco Beach Coconut. Let's get

2:52:24 round two underway.

2:52:29 Peter Holden deals him outside.

2:52:43 Allen ahead 2-0.

2:52:47 Again for round two, no fielders.

2:52:49 It's just Holden out there.

2:52:52 Loneliest part of the ballpark.

2:52:59 Holden gets the call.

2:53:06 Nitroglycerin pills.

2:53:12 HOLDEN GETS THE CALL AGAIN.

2:53:18 It's 2-2.

2:53:21 Show me the changeup.

2:53:33 Survey says no.

2:53:36 Ball four would put Tanner Allen at

2:53:38 second base. He can opt for immediate

2:53:41 the dish and the designated runner would

2:53:42 go out for Loco Beach.

2:53:45 HOLDEN, A PAYOFF PITCH, ROUND TWO OF

2:53:48 SHOWDOWNS.

2:53:50 TANNER ALLEN

2:53:53 TO LEFT FIELD.

2:53:54 THERE IS NO FIELDER.

2:53:56 HOLDEN WOULD HAVE TO DO IT HIMSELF.

2:53:59 PETER CAN STOP RUNNING. THIS ISN'T EVEN

2:54:02 CLOSE. TANNER ALLEN SCORES AND LOCO

2:54:05 BEACH LEADS AGAIN.

2:54:09 TANNER ALLEN

2:54:11 THAT'S HOW YOU TEACH IT.

2:54:14 TEACH TAPE FROM TA.

2:54:17 Drilled to left.

2:54:19 Never a chance for Holden to chase it

2:54:21 down. ROLLED ALL THE WAY TO THE TRACK.

2:54:24 Stalled up against the wall. Allen

2:54:27 scores on his feet and CJ Williams gets

2:54:30 a second stab. There's not many times in

2:54:32 life that you are gifted a second

2:54:35 opportunity at something that you want

2:54:37 this bad.

2:54:38 For CJ Williams, it's a fifth

2:54:40 opportunity.

2:54:42 After three rounds of showdowns on

2:54:44 Thursday

2:54:46 that the Party Animals ended on top.

2:54:49 CJ Williams has a chance to get the last

2:54:52 laugh and play villain in Sin City.

2:54:56 This crowd is on its feet.

2:55:01 The defensive team sends the pitcher out

2:55:03 first.

2:55:04 If the offensive team wants to play

2:55:06 matchups,

2:55:07 they then elect their batter.

2:55:11 And here in round two to face CJ

2:55:12 Williams, Jason Swan steps to the plate

2:55:15 for the Party Animals.

2:55:22 A SERIES ON THE LINE.

2:55:24 EACH TEAM HAS WON A GAME here in Las

2:55:26 Vegas.

2:55:30 It's Jason Swan at the plate, CJ

2:55:32 Williams on the mound.

2:55:39 Get a home run over the fence ends the

2:55:40 ballgame. Swan does not have one of

2:55:42 those yet this season.

2:56:14 SWAN! IT'S OVER!

2:56:16 CJ WILLIAMS SHOWDOWN SHUTDOWN!

2:56:20 THE LOCO BEACH COCONUTS

2:56:23 WILL OWN LAS VEGAS.

2:56:25 ALL THAT'S LEFT IS THE TAG

2:56:28 AND GO LOCO.

2:56:36 HIGH INTO THE SKY, C.J. WILLIAMS FORCES

2:56:40 THE EXACT CONTACT THAT YOU LOOK FOR AT

2:56:43 THE BEACH.

2:56:45 LET'S GO LOCO, BABY. IN A SEASON full of

2:56:48 firsts, FOR A FIRST EVER TIME, THE

2:56:51 COMEBACK COCONUTS ARE VICTORIOUS IN

2:56:55 SHOWDOWNS BY A FINAL SCORE OF FIVE TO

2:56:59 FOUR.

2:57:03 AFTER DROPPING NIGHT ONE in

2:57:05 heartbreaking fashion,

2:57:07 THE COCONUTS

2:57:09 DOMINATE DAY TWO AND COME BACK WITH

2:57:12 VENGEANCE WITH A SHOWDOWN VICTORY ON DAY

2:57:16 THREE.

2:57:18 IT'S A SECOND straight series win for

2:57:20 Loco Beach, WHO MOVE TO EIGHT AND NINE

2:57:22 ON THE SEASON

2:57:24 AND SECURE THEIR FIRST SHOWDOWN WIN in

2:57:27 the franchise's young history.

2:57:32 The crowd is chanting Loco Beach.

2:57:37 Swan knew

2:57:38 he had popped it up on the infield and

2:57:41 C.J. Williams without a fielder,

2:57:45 only himself and his catcher Ashley

2:57:47 Vining.

2:57:48 That's all

2:57:50 Mark Crocco's team needed. The Coconuts

2:57:53 have come into Las Vegas and taken over

2:57:55 the city. Loco Beach chants rain in.

2:57:58 Jordan Brewer, the hero, is with Michael

2:58:01 Schwartz.

2:58:03 >> Just listen to us breathe for a second.

2:58:04 Just take it all in. Thank you.

2:58:06 I saw every vein out of your chest and

2:58:09 your head explode

2:58:11 when that final out was made. And when

2:58:13 you hit that ball,

2:58:15 this game, man, in Vegas,

2:58:17 how do we end this trip? That was an

2:58:18 unbelievable.

2:58:20 >> Blood, sweat,

2:58:22 tears.

2:58:23 >> We're going to do an ASMR interview.

2:58:25 Tell me in ASMR how amazing it was.

2:58:28 >> Thank you for showing up.

2:58:31 Thank you. Like and subscribe.

2:58:34 >> What do you think about this?

2:58:36 >> This This right here. My home.

2:58:39 Right here.

2:58:40 Home.

2:58:41 >> Real quick, how do you feel about all

2:58:42 the players on your team?

2:58:44 Uh breaking the hits record and

2:58:46 continuing to succeed at the plate.

2:58:49 >> Unbreakable. Unbreakable.

2:58:52 Nothing could defeat us. We're just in

2:58:54 there every single day just battling.

2:58:57 Real quick, think of God we're in Vegas.

2:58:59 Think of God an animal backstage

2:59:01 question of the day.

2:59:03 And it's from Cam, the best play ever.

2:59:07 >> What is the best play ever from

2:59:08 9-year-old Cam and Animal Backstage

2:59:10 question?

2:59:10 >> The best play ever?

2:59:12 >> From you?

2:59:12 >> From me?

2:59:14 I got the last one that broke the first

2:59:16 play. First first base record for trick

2:59:18 play.

2:59:20 Go have yourself a night in Vegas.

2:59:22 Hey,

2:59:22 go Loco Beach.

2:59:24 I'll see you soon, Jordan Brewer. Beach.

2:59:28 Goodbye.

2:59:31 >> Jordan Brewer, the showman of the game

2:59:33 in Las Vegas.

2:59:36 How great was he both in the defense,

2:59:38 the offense.

2:59:40 That's just a pro bat, man.

2:59:43 More than a feeling, that's the power of

2:59:46 love. Loco Beach has done it again. You

2:59:50 can never count the coconuts out. Going

2:59:54 into the ninth inning, losing by one.

2:59:57 Who do you call?

2:59:59 Not Ghostbusters, the coconuts. And they

3:00:02 get it done again. Jordan Brewer, round

3:00:04 one of show outs, left no doubt he's

3:00:06 your showman of the game

3:00:08 in a series win for Loco Beach. Brewer

3:00:12 set a single game record for the most

3:00:15 trick plays by a first baseman. It's

3:00:17 been a weekend of records and Loco Beach

3:00:19 has been on the right side of them all.

3:00:22 I mean, wow. What a contest between

3:00:25 these two teams and five trick plays for

3:00:27 Jordan Brewer tonight.

3:00:30 History in the Banana Ball Championship

3:00:32 League for a guy that Mark Crocco said,

3:00:34 "I've I've got to go get him in the

3:00:36 draft." Crocco did and AJ, I I want to

3:00:39 emphasize coming off of a loss for the

3:00:40 Party Animals who after Thursday's game

3:00:42 were undefeated in Nevada as the home

3:00:44 team as as a home team. They were just

3:00:46 mowing through teams with a 3-0 loss

3:00:48 Vegas. This is their state.

3:00:50 Friday, Loco Beach strikes for 20 runs.

3:00:53 Tonight, in showdowns, a airtight

3:00:56 ballgame goes the way of Mark Crocco's

3:00:58 squad. And then afterward, you can see

3:00:59 in the background of the Jordan Brewer

3:01:01 interview.

3:01:02 Both these teams did something that is

3:01:04 not scripted in Banana Ball and that

3:01:05 some teams don't do cuz it's not

3:01:07 scripted in Banana Ball. A handshake

3:01:09 line.

3:01:10 These two teams say, "Hey, we won't see

3:01:11 each other for a while, but when these

3:01:13 squads meet, it's a different level of

3:01:15 Banana Ball, one of the great new

3:01:16 rivalries of this sport and the respect.

3:01:19 I don't know if there are two teams with

3:01:21 more moxie, with with more

3:01:24 spirit, to put it lightly. And these

3:01:27 two, when the game's over, it's a

3:01:29 handshake and they're on their way.

3:01:30 >> It is. I mean, we'll see one another all

3:01:32 across the casinos this evening in Las

3:01:34 Vegas cuz these are two teams that went

3:01:36 to war for three days straight, but at

3:01:38 the same time, the vibe of the Party

3:01:39 Animals and

3:01:40 >> vibe of Loco Beach, it's similar in the

3:01:42 sense that it comes down to a mindset.

3:01:44 I'll tell you what, I've said it once,

3:01:45 I'll say it again. Loco Beach has proven

3:01:48 that they can hang with anyone in the

3:01:49 league in their inaugural season. That

3:01:51 comes down to the mindset that Coach

3:01:53 Crocco, Shane Victorino, and everyone

3:01:56 involved with this team and this brand

3:01:57 have instilled in this group. If you put

3:01:59 the fans first, if you spread love, you

3:02:02 spread happiness, you spread joy, it's

3:02:04 going to show up. Karma's a real thing.

3:02:06 It appeared in the barrels tonight. It

3:02:08 certainly did a night ago. And after

3:02:10 going down 01 in the series in what

3:02:12 feels like the pseudo home for the party

3:02:15 animals, the coconuts with their backs

3:02:17 to the wall didn't go down swinging.

3:02:19 Instead, they rose to the occasion and

3:02:22 took over the city.

3:02:23 >> Who knows, maybe a residency at the

3:02:24 sphere for one of these two teams in the

3:02:26 future. Loco Beach takes Las Vegas. AJ

3:02:29 Swiatek standing to my left. Michael

3:02:31 Schwartz down on the field. A 5 to 4

3:02:35 final score. Loco Beach wins the game.

3:02:37 Loco Beach wins the series. For our

3:02:39 entire crew here from VTV, I'm Drake

3:02:42 Toll saying goodnight.

3:02:44 Party on.

3:02:46 >> Let's go Loco, baby. Love one another.
