5:37 HAS TAKEN THE WIN. HERE comes the pitch.

5:40 AND IT'S JUST A THAT LOOKED LIKE A

5:42 STRIKE TO ME.

5:44 >> NOT SURE HOW much of the chugging he

5:45 actually did and how much was crushed on

5:47 his head, but it made up for it with the

5:49 near strike.

5:51 All the ladies in the prison make some

7:14 when we landed.

7:21 So I

7:23 was

7:25 a wild place to vacation.

7:30 I think I'm cute. I know I'm sexy. I got

9:27 FANS DO. MY GOODNESS. AND HE'S WEARING A

9:31 LOCO BEACH COCONUTS JERSEY. THAT'S WHY

9:34 YOU BRING THE GLOVE. HE RETIRES ONE OF

9:36 HIS OWN. WHY DID YOU immediately follow

9:39 that up by taking Tylenol?

9:44 >> Malden gets the way from Shane Victor.

9:47 MALDEN TO THE PLATE. THE PLATE. THE

9:49 PLATE. OH, HE'S OUT. WOW.

9:52 MY GOODNESS. BIG BOW TO ANDY COSGROVE.

10:55 2, three, four, five, six. This way,

11:01 Marlin.

11:11 Adults swim. All kids out of the pool.

11:22 >> The original rivalry in the sport

11:24 resumes in the ATL as the Savannah

11:26 Bananas and the visiting team in this

11:29 three-game set against the defending

11:32 champion party animals in Truis Park.

11:35 The first place Bananas look to end a

11:37 three-game losing streak that started

11:39 with a defeat at the hands of the

11:41 Animals two weekends ago in Yankee

11:44 Stadium. While the fifth place party

11:45 animals arrive on the heels of a series

11:48 loss to the Loco Beach Coconuts in Las

11:50 Vegas and look to write the ship against

11:52 their most storied foe. And what a

11:54 gorgeous venue for this historic battle.

11:56 Truis Park, home of the Atlanta Braves,

11:59 is absolutely bumping here about a half

12:01 an hour ahead of first pitch as we have

12:04 over 41,000 fans on hand to celebrate a

12:09 very special Big Tiger Friday with us

12:10 here in virtual Banana Land with Josh

12:13 Tvki, the statistical support of Banana

12:16 Ball and Mr. Drake tool, the voice of

12:18 the party animals. I am Bo Scala. So

12:21 great to have Banana Ball back on True

12:23 TV for a third straight season. And with

12:25 the marquee matchup here in the sport,

12:27 the Bananas and Party Animals, both

12:29 teams currently trending in the wrong

12:31 direction. The Party Animals six and 10

12:33 on the year. Fifth place currently on

12:35 the outside looking in when it comes to

12:36 the playoffs.

12:37 >> The defending champions are loaded with

12:39 veterans, those being the Party Animals.

12:40 But it's six and 10. The season has not

12:42 started off as they expected. Both of

12:43 these teams have very different bodies

12:45 of work. The bananas in first place. The

12:47 party animals trending out of the

12:48 postseason, but given the last 10 days,

12:52 each of these squads feel like they're

12:53 in a very similar place. Regency bias in

12:56 full swing.

12:57 >> Yeah, you've got the Party Animals have

12:58 dropped two in a row. The Bananas have

13:00 lost three in a row. Still a three-game

13:02 lead in first place, but going back to

13:04 the Banana Ball Open final. They've lost

13:05 five out of their last six, Josh.

13:07 >> Yeah, the Bananas very much not used to

13:09 this sort of thing happening. In fact,

13:10 it's the first time since June 14th,

13:13 June 19th, and June 20th of last year

13:15 that they lost three straight games. So,

13:17 it's a little bit of unfamiliar

13:19 territory. Nonetheless, Tyler Gillum

13:21 continuing to tinker with this lineup

13:23 and try and figure out what it's going

13:25 to take to get this team back in the win

13:27 column and figure things out as that

13:29 away team. Well, as we've referenced, it

13:31 was just two weekends ago that these two

13:33 teams battled in the Bronx. Let's see

13:35 what went down in the home of the New

13:37 York Yankees. The house that Frankie

13:39 Moscatello built, as they're calling it

13:41 here in Banana Land. And how about

13:43 Garrett Deleno? He came out roaring,

13:45 struck out the side. It was the first

13:47 fantastic start of the year for Deleno.

13:49 The party animals took a 2-1 lead into

13:52 the bottom of the ninth. Dan Obur as the

13:54 golden batter. So close to tying this

13:57 game, but he was due up next in the

13:59 order. And as the Bananas lineup flipped

14:00 on its head, he did not miss this one.

14:02 That's right. Fifth pitch against Peter

14:05 Holden and Danny Barrels with a

14:07 game-tying opposite field blast for the

14:09 Savannah Bananas. Clutch piece of

14:11 hitting from Oers and it was able to

14:13 send the Bananas to Showdowns against

14:16 the Party Animals. Danny Hosley getting

14:18 the strike out in round three with the

14:20 bases loaded.

14:21 >> Yeah, that was three showdown shutdowns

14:23 for Hosley.

14:24 >> And it's been death taxes and blown

14:25 saves to the Party Animals which

14:26 happened in the ninth. You go into

14:28 showdowns and all that momentum falls

14:30 apart and you fall in night one in front

14:32 of 35,000 sold out Yankee Stadium.

14:34 >> Yeah, Dr. Meadows off the bench still

14:36 nursing that sore right hamstring able

14:38 to get bat- on ball against Peter

14:40 Holden. He has the walk-off in round

14:41 three of showdowns. But in the Sunday,

14:43 Matt Anay, the party animals came out

14:45 with a vengeance even against a

14:47 star-studded bananas team. Russell

14:49 Wilson, guy who played for the Gastonia

14:51 Grizzlies, Jesse Cole's first summer

14:53 collegiate baseball team all the way

14:55 back in the early 2000s. He ends up

14:58 bouncing out with a trick play from

15:00 Jason Swan. But the special guest not

15:02 done. How about Tino Martinez? That's

15:03 right, the fourtime World Series

15:05 champion getting a pinch at bat for the

15:07 Savannah Bananas in the final inning of

15:10 play and the party animals up six in the

15:12 ball game were very much in cruise

15:14 control. Dylan Porter set him down

15:16 swinging. But not only that, Ryan Cox

15:18 sent it back to the bench and then the

15:20 game ends on a Porter pistol squat trick

15:23 pitch strikeout to secure a series split

15:27 with the Bananas and Party Animals.

15:29 >> I like that game a lot better than the

15:30 first one.

15:32 >> 71 victory for the Animals as they

15:35 dominated the finale in the Bronx. And a

15:37 weekend to go for the Bananas. They

15:39 found themselves playing in front of the

15:41 cows and 1,000 fans at Navasota High

15:44 School about a half an hour down the

15:46 road from College Station. The first

15:48 pop-up game in Banana Ball history was

15:50 only announced at 3:30 p.m. for a 7:00

15:52 p.m. first pitch. And the 9-year Nana

15:54 Bill Loy coming from the crowd. Who else

15:57 but Billy Barrels, the best hitter when

15:59 it comes to specialty walk-ups in Banana

16:01 Ball history. And right back to the

16:03 crowd he shall go. Got to celebrate with

16:05 a thousand of his closest friends. That

16:07 was the main highlight of the night for

16:09 the Bananas. They fell 5 nothing to the

16:11 Texas Tailgator in Navasota. BUT THEN

16:14 YOU HAD THE ALL-AMERICAN Rejects doing a

16:16 postgame concert for all the folks in

16:19 attendance and All-American Reject fans

16:21 as well. It was such a fantastic night

16:24 and a really cool organic scene. And

16:26 what a ju position. Two nights later,

16:28 the biggest game in Banana Ball history.

16:30 Over 102,000 fans in College Station at

16:35 Kyle Field and Ree Selectiatis the best

16:37 hitter in football stadiums in Banana

16:40 Ball history. He struck again his second

16:42 home run of the year. Both of them have

16:44 come in football stadiums and then why

16:46 NOT MAKE IT TWO HOME RUNS. You bet you

16:49 Alexi the first two homer game in his

16:51 banana ball career and it would lead to

16:54 an inning win for the Nanners in the

16:56 eighth but they would fall short. Robert

16:58 Anthony Cruz with the game tying run on

17:00 first. Flies out to the home state kid

17:02 Jose Gonzalez Jr. And the red hot

17:04 tailgator have beat the Bananas four

17:07 straight times going back to that Banana

17:09 Ball open final and it has really gone

17:12 downhill for the Nanners. They were

17:13 scorching going into the open. They have

17:15 cooled off a lot since then. Yeah, and

17:17 you see it reflected in that point

17:19 differential. The Bananas with more than

17:22 10 points lost in this span since the

17:25 Banana Ball open. You see the batting

17:27 average has taken a significant dip. A

17:29 big reason why they are averaging less

17:31 than or three fewer runs per game. And

17:34 then on the pitching side as well,

17:36 you've seen the strikeout rates drop for

17:38 the Bananas and the ball force sprints

17:40 go up. A key reason that earned run

17:42 average is hovering close to nine for

17:44 this Banana staff right now.

17:46 >> Look, I I won't break your brain with

17:47 this one. The Bananas aren't hitting the

17:49 ball well and they're not pitching well.

17:51 The party animals are falling apart late

17:53 in games. That's the difference. The

17:54 Bananas trying to find consistency. The

17:56 Animals have blown eight saves and nine

17:58 opportunities. That's the difference in

18:00 two teams that are trending down.

18:02 >> And it's one thing for us to tell you,

18:04 it's another thing to show you. When we

18:06 come back, we'll have highlights from

18:07 Las Vegas last week as the party animals

18:10 took on the Loco Beach Coconuts.

18:18 >> She's had a few too many already. SHE

18:20 TOOK THE BOTTLE.

18:23 YES. YES. YES.

18:38 >> FANS, most ball games start off with a

18:40 ceremonial first pitch, but if you

18:43 haven't noticed yet, this is not an

18:45 ordinary ball game in the Party Animal

18:48 Kingdom. Instead, we prefer to kick

18:50 things off with the first chug of the

18:53 night. So, I'm here with Shawn and

18:56 Bobby, and these two beef cakes are

18:59 going to face off head-to-head to see

19:01 who can chuck their can the fastest.

19:04 Whoever chucks his can first will earn

19:06 the distinct honor of towing the rubber

19:09 and firing his can home toward our

19:11 catcher behind home plate. But that's

19:14 not all. The stakes have never been

19:16 higher because the winner of tonight's

19:19 first chug will also be crowned

19:22 tonight's fan challenge representative

19:25 in this ball game. So before we get to

19:28 chugging, just a quick reminder, this is

19:31 still a familyfriendly show. So I assure

19:34 you, I've inspected these cans and they

19:37 are in fact full of root beer. So,

19:40 please join me and root these guys on as

19:44 we complete the first chug of the night.

19:47 Gentlemen, on your marks, GET SET.

19:51 CHARGE. CHUG. CHUG. CHUG. CHUG. CHUG.

19:57 Slow and steady wins the race. It's

20:00 going to be a close one. Both men

20:02 haven't spilled a drop. It's going to BE

20:05 A PHOTO FINISH. WHO'S IT GOING TO BE?

20:08 And with a CRUSH OF THE CAN ON HIS

20:11 NOGGIN, it looks like Bobby is our

20:14 champion. Bobby, go ahead. Make that can

20:18 as aerodynamic as humanly possible. Step

20:21 on the mound and let's see what you got,

20:23 big fella.

20:27 He's got a fun shirt and he's a fun guy.

20:29 Knows how to chug. Let's see it. Here's

20:33 the pitch. Rocks and FIRES AND IT'S

20:36 RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE. A PERFECT STRIKE.

20:41 And if that weren't good enough, let's

20:44 not forget Bobby has earned the right.

20:49 >> You are watching Banana Ball on True TV.

20:51 And for the first time ever, the Party

20:53 Animals, the second team to be birthed

20:55 in the sport of Banana Ball will host a

20:58 major league stadium against the

21:00 Savannah Bananas a week after they took

21:02 over Las Vegas, Nevada. And game one was

21:06 incredible. There is a city that just

21:08 screams party animals. It has to be

21:10 Vegas. And the animals coming off of

21:12 that game two win in the Bronx were just

21:15 as hot night one against the Loco Beach

21:17 Coconuts. Tanner Thomas would earn

21:19 himself player of the week in the sport

21:21 and not night up one up at one a piece

21:24 early than Jake Skull. The reigning MVP

21:27 in the bottom of the eighth. He'd tie

21:30 the game, send us to the ninth where

21:32 eventually we'd go to showdowns. in

21:34 showdowns. John Howard Bobo some savvy

21:36 feeling as the only fielder. And in

21:39 round three, Loco beat scratches across

21:41 just one point just for Jake Skull.

21:44 Bottom of round four, walk it off into

21:47 center field. The Animals win it by a

21:49 final score of seven to six. Now, um the

21:54 problem with that is game two would

21:57 happen. We if we can skip over the game

21:59 two highlights history was on the side

22:02 of the Loco Beach Coconuts in our sport.

22:04 >> Yeah, no doubt about it. And by the way,

22:06 as Drake said, it was a 76 victory at

22:09 night one and we skip night two because

22:12 well Loco Beach that's the one

22:13 highlight. This is the one highlight

22:16 that we can take from night two. It was

22:18 a blowout win for the Coconuts who

22:19 scored 20 runs on Friday in Vegas. Final

22:24 score 6 nothing. The former party animal

22:27 Saloobo sitting down Bryson Bloomer to

22:29 end it and the rubber match. Day three

22:32 Saturday game entertainment baked at the

22:35 base of that damn the six and nice party

22:39 animals hosting the Loco Beach Coconuts

22:41 needing a win to get back in that

22:43 column. And Tanner Thomas death taxes

22:46 Tanner Thomas long balls in Las Vegas.

22:48 He does it again, the second time on the

22:50 weekend to tie the game at a point

22:52 apiece going into the third inning.

22:54 Again, earning himself the Banana Ball

22:57 Championship League Player of the Week.

22:58 BUT A STRIKEOUT LOOKING BOTTOM OF the

23:00 ninth. Let's send us a showdowns for the

23:02 second time last weekend where Jason

23:04 Swan popped up on the infield. CJ

23:06 Williams, the pitcher, had no fielders,

23:10 didn't need any. He does it himself. And

23:12 now Loco Beach wins it. Takes the series

23:15 5-4. a heartbreak for the Party Animals.

23:18 But the good news is really good time

23:20 win or lose to be a Party Animals fan.

23:23 The growth of this brand carrying the

23:25 sport of Banana Bowl as the original

23:28 auxiliary brand behind the Savannah

23:29 Bananas now that started to morph. You

23:32 go into game two in New York sold out

23:34 stadium and you win against the Bananas

23:36 in blowout fashion. Then the

23:37 aforementioned Las Vegas series. Not

23:39 only do the party animals have a whole

23:41 host of home crowd pink, they also

23:44 performed with Cirus Sole on the Vegas

23:46 strip. Cirlet would return the favor and

23:49 perform at Las Vegas ballpark alongside

23:51 the Party Animals last Saturday. Oh, and

23:54 the Vegas Golden Knights double overtime

23:56 against the Utah Mammoth. Crank that

23:58 Sean Fluke. The Party Animals showcase

24:00 by the Knights in the NHL playoffs. And

24:04 it all leads to this. In early June, the

24:06 Party Animals will sell out at Major

24:09 League Baseball Stadium in Milwaukee

24:11 with no bananas in sight. They'll do it

24:13 themselves. For more on the Party

24:15 Animals momentum, Rex Castillo.

24:16 >> Hey, here with Coach Vava. Now, of

24:18 course, the Party Animals brand has

24:19 grown so much from selling out Yankee

24:21 Stadium, being involved in all of the

24:23 stuff that comes with Las Vegas, and at

24:26 the same time, now we're here in

24:27 Atlanta. Three straight days. Coach

24:29 Vava, what is it like to see this brand

24:31 grow so much?

24:32 >> Oh, man. And it it's a beautiful thing

24:33 to see. Uh especially I've been a party

24:36 animals for 6 years now and when I first

24:38 started could not in my wildest dreams

24:40 imagine us headlining a MLB stadium in

24:43 Atlanta and it's just a testament to

24:45 what these guys have been doing for the

24:46 brand and everyone's working so hard and

24:48 uh Party Animals on the way up.

24:50 >> Hey, look. And now we're across the way.

24:52 It's the old school rivalry. Party

24:53 animals versus bananas. What's it like

24:55 to rekindle this rivalry yet again?

24:57 >> Oh man, it's great. It's great for the

24:59 guys, too. Uh obviously we're so

25:00 comfortable with playing the bananas.

25:02 We've done it for so many years and

25:03 there's always that really good rivalry

25:05 between us, the yellow versus the pink.

25:06 So, it's cool. We We love playing games

25:08 against them. I feel like the guys get

25:10 an extra little edge when we're playing

25:11 against the bananas. So, it's always a

25:13 good time playing them. It's always a

25:14 great game as well.

25:15 >> Is it a matter of like always seeing red

25:17 whenever you see the guys in yellow? And

25:19 again, things didn't always go the way

25:21 that you wanted to. The results didn't

25:22 go your way, but at the same time, this

25:24 is the way where you can absolutely get

25:26 things going the right way for the party

25:28 animals.

25:28 >> Absolutely. I think there's no better

25:30 way than to get some momentum going

25:32 against the Bananas, the team that we

25:34 first started this all with, first

25:35 played against from the beginning. Um,

25:37 and you know, it's uh it's all a

25:38 question about playing the game right,

25:41 doing everything right in the field, and

25:42 making sure the guys have fun out there,

25:43 and that's what we got to do.

25:45 >> And one of the things that Coach Va

25:46 likes to do is write his lineup cards on

25:47 pretty much anything. So, coach, what

25:50 are you doing here on my arm?

25:52 >> You know what, Rex? Uh, your arm was a

25:54 perfect size for a lineup card. And and

25:56 you know what? I was like, there's no

25:58 better way. Hey, I needed a lineup card

26:00 today and I think this is the perfect

26:01 one.

26:02 >> So, I guess we're just going to hope

26:03 that the Sharpie holds on for the whole

26:05 two hours and we'll update all of you

26:07 guys on if there are any lineup changes

26:08 on my arm. Guys, back to you.

26:17 >> One of the great running bits in all of

26:19 Banana Ball. Where will Vava write his

26:22 lineup? When we come back, we're talking

26:24 about fan caught foul balls. Don't go

26:26 anywhere.

26:33 BASE. SHE'S THAT CONFIDENT THAT SHE'S

26:36 GETTING IT ALL. DOESN'T MATTER WHAT

26:39 ORDER. She wants a home run here.

26:42 That's right. THE BALL IS STILL LOOSE.

26:46 SHE'S GOING TO BE SAFE AT SECOND. SHE

26:48 LIFTS up her helmet. THE THROW INTO

26:52 SECOND IS NOT IN TIME. IT GETS AWAY FROM

26:55 THE GLOVE MAGICIAN, RYAN COX. THE BALL'S

26:58 STILL LOOSE AS SHE ROUNDS FIRST BASE.

27:00 SHE'S COMING BACK HOME. SHE DOES THE

27:03 LIMBO.

27:05 KYLE JACKSON STEPS OUT OF HER WAY AS SHE

27:09 SCORES. HOME RUN for Aubrey.

27:39 Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

28:00 fans. It is your chance to win big in

28:04 this weekend's 50/50 raffle. A combined

28:06 pot from all three games this weekend.

28:10 If you scan the QR code up on the video

28:13 board, you will be helping out Bananas

28:15 Foster and the Atlanta Braves

28:17 Foundation. We will be announcing the

28:19 winner at the after Sunday's game. So,

28:22 it's a combined pot. Enter now.

29:01 Banana Ball is the fastest and most

29:03 entertaining show in sports and the 11

29:05 rules guarantee the most fans first

29:07 experience every second.

29:09 >> Unbelievable.

29:11 >> WELCOME TO THE BANANA BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP

29:13 LEAGUE.

29:13 >> Rule number one, win the inning, win the

29:16 point. The team that scores the most

29:18 runs in an inning wins the point.

29:20 >> IT'S A WALK-OFF WINNER TO THE DEEPEST

29:23 POOL.

29:24 >> OH MY GOODNESS.

29:25 >> With the equalizer point, trick plays

29:27 provide the away team an opportunity to

29:29 earn a point going into the final

29:31 inning. And in the final inning, every

29:33 run counts as a point. Rule number two,

29:36 Banana Ball has a 2hour time limit,

29:39 guaranteeing that every game is

29:41 fast-paced and action-packed. Rule

29:44 number three, no stepping out of the

29:46 batter's box. If you do, it will result

29:48 in a strike.

29:49 >> Back stepped out of the box and because

29:51 he stepped out of the box, that's it.

29:52 >> Rule number four, no bunting, cuz

29:55 bunting sucks. If you bunt, you'll be

29:58 thrown out of the game. Rule number

30:00 five, batters can steal first base.

30:02 >> Ball three, GET IT TAKEN OFF FOR FIRST

30:04 THROW FROM LEROY IN TIME.

30:06 >> Rule number six, there's no walks. Walks

30:10 are ball for sprints. The batter can

30:12 advance as far as they want until every

30:14 position player touches the ball.

30:16 >> No defenders have touched THE BANANA

30:19 BALL. IT IS A FOUR BASE SPRINT TO OPEN

30:22 UP the ball game.

30:23 >> Rule number seven, no mound visits.

30:26 >> Nope. Rule number eight, foul balls

30:29 caught by a fan count as an out.

30:32 >> Oh, goodness. They did. They can't.

30:36 We're going to show

30:38 >> rule number nine, the showdowns. In

30:41 showdowns, the best of the best face off

30:43 in the biggest moment. One hitter verse

30:45 one pitcher with one fielder behind him.

30:48 And the hitter has to score deep to

30:50 right center. See you later.

30:54 >> Rule number 10, the banana ball

30:56 challenge rule. gives the coaches and

30:58 you the fans a chance to impact a call

31:01 on the field. Rule number 11, the golden

31:04 batter. Once a game, each team can give

31:07 any player in it back regardless of the

31:09 lineup. This offers the biggest matchups

31:11 on the biggest stage.

31:13 >> Big on big.

31:15 It's good. It's good. It's gone. Get out

31:19 of here.

31:21 That thing had a family.

31:24 And those are the rules of banana ball.

31:32 Thank you, Jesse. And now we got to look

31:34 at the most fans first rule in Banana

31:36 Ball. Of course, fan caught foul balls,

31:38 which if a fan catches a foul ball

31:40 cleanly, it counts for an out in

31:42 tonight's ball game. Any ball bobbled,

31:45 caught on a ricochet, a tip, does not

31:47 count as a foul as a fan caught foul

31:50 ball. And last year here in Truis Park,

31:52 we saw four foul outs to fans across two

31:55 games, benefiting both the bananas and

31:58 the party animals equally. And this

32:00 year, we have seen 28 total fan caught

32:03 foul balls, 11 of which have come here

32:06 in Major League Baseball stadiums. And

32:09 you see, the Bananas actually hit the

32:11 hardest by fan caught foul balls this

32:13 season. Although somehow on the heels of

32:16 the biggest game in Banana Ball history

32:17 in Kyle Field, over 100,000 fans, there

32:20 was not one foul ball caught by the fans

32:23 last Saturday night in the Bananas at

32:25 Tailgator game. So, uh, the folks here

32:27 in Banana Land, they're looking for a

32:28 bounceback performance tonight. Yeah,

32:30 that is certainly true and we hope to

32:32 see it when we come back. We've got more

32:35 on the party animals and their starting

32:37 lineup here on True TV.

32:51 Ooh, rocking and rolling.

33:00 Disco. Okay. Who taught you that?

33:06 Scuba.

33:13 Jumping jacks

33:24 and some more claps. Sophia, this whole

33:27 crowd is cheering for you.

33:31 And then I give it up one more time for

33:33 your fan warm-up leader, Sophia.

34:02 Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls and

34:07 Parters from around the world tonight.

34:10 You and thousands of your friends here

34:12 live and thousands more watching at home

34:14 have gathered here to witness something

34:17 beyond your wildest imaginations.

34:20 From Sixth Street to Bourbon Street,

34:23 from Tampa Bay to Broadway, party people

34:25 come from across the globe to witness

34:28 this. This is not baseball. This is the

34:34 rage cage where the wildest, craziest,

34:38 sexiest players step into the gauntlet.

34:41 This is a game of the fans, by the fans,

34:44 and for the fans. But this is not your

34:48 granddad's pastime. This is NOT JUST

34:51 ANOTHER NIGHT at the ballpark. This game

34:53 is baseball by birth, fruit by name, and

34:57 an absolute worldwide PHENOMENON BY THE

35:00 GRACE OF GOD. featuring Lil John.

35:06 This is the time for this sold out

35:10 crowd.

35:12 >> Lord,

35:14 this is the time.

35:17 >> To what great fortune do we owe the

35:20 honor of sentience for a time such as

35:23 this? History will be made in Atlanta,

35:26 GEORGIA. TRUEST PARK, the home of the

35:29 Braves, where the Party Animals, for the

35:31 first time in their history, their

35:33 inception back in 2020, will host a

35:37 major league baseball stadium against

35:39 the Savannah Bananas as a home team. The

35:42 town IS PAINTED PINK AND HERE they come,

35:45 the Party Animals.

35:47 >> The starting LINEUP FOR YOUR party

39:46 The head coach for the party animals is

39:50 Thomas Sim Shady Simido and the birthday

39:53 boy Anthony. How you doing? Caramato.

40:20 fans. We ask that you remain standing as

40:22 we celebrate the life of an American

40:26 incredible innovator, television staple,

40:29 and Atlanta Braves legend, Ted Turner.

40:38 The party animals in Savannah Banana

40:40 stand together in honoring Turner's

40:42 legacy, understanding that without his

40:45 contributions,

40:47 especially to the game of baseball, we

40:51 would not be in this park today. Ladies

40:55 and gentlemen, to the life and legacy of

40:58 Ted Turner.

41:07 Now, at this time, we ask that you

41:10 remain standing if able, remove your

41:12 caps, and join us in honoring America

41:15 with the singing of tonight's national

41:18 anthem. Please welcome to the field

41:21 Stephanie Cherry.

41:24 Oh, say

41:28 you see

42:43 Oh, say

42:46 that

42:48 spangled

42:53 away.

42:58 for the land

43:00 of the free

43:08 and the

43:12 brave

43:23 versus.

43:37 >> It's the biggest swag surf in Banana

43:40 Ball history. Over 41,000 fans alongside

43:44 the Bananas and Party Animals in Truis

43:47 Park. The first ever Party Animals

43:49 headlining series in a big league park.

43:52 And this is our first of three games

43:55 this weekend here in the home of the

43:57 Atlanta Braves, the 11 and4 Bananas

44:00 against the 6 and 10 Party Animals. And

44:03 we are so happy to get to bring it to

44:05 you live here on True TV and the Party

44:08 Animals YouTube channel as we welcome

44:09 you back inside with Josh Tleski, Drake

44:12 Tol. I am Bo Scalla. Happy Big Tiger

44:15 Friday. wouldn't rather be spending it

44:18 anywhere else on planet Earth as we get

44:20 to see the marquee matchup in the sport.

44:22 Fifth game this year between the bananas

44:24 and party.

44:25 >> There's a 9-year-old section 306 that

44:27 was in science class 3 hours ago and

44:29 rushed to get to the ballpark. Just got

44:31 sat down. Cotton candy, popcorn. It's

44:33 already all over his face. That

44:35 9-year-old kid is in for the time of his

44:37 life. There's a 9-year-old sitting on

44:38 the couch right now watching this sport

44:41 for the first time who's about to find

44:42 out.

44:43 >> Welcome to it. We cannot wait to see

44:45 what unfolds here tonight. And Josh, two

44:48 teams treading in the wrong direction

44:50 currently. Although the Bananas still

44:51 three game advantage when it comes to

44:53 the number one seed.

44:53 >> And you just get the feeling that

44:55 something is finally going to give in

44:56 this series considering through the

44:58 first four matchups. Bananas winners of

45:00 two games, party animals winners of two

45:02 games. Now with this three game set, one

45:04 team is finally going to emerge

45:06 victorious when it comes to this season

45:08 series. a three-game set and it all

45:11 unfolds across these next three days.

45:14 Let's get a look at the party animals

45:16 defensive alignment as they are the home

45:17 team for all three of these games here

45:20 in the ATL. Left to right in the

45:22 outfield, it's Tanner Thomas, Reese

45:23 Hampton, and Jake Skull. Third to first

45:25 in the infield, you see Bryson Bloomer,

45:27 Chase Auff, Dustin Ber, and Jason Swan.

45:30 Andy Cosgrove is behind the plate. John

45:32 Howard Bobo is the designated fielder.

45:34 >> Yeah, and it's Dustin Bourber, the guy

45:35 you're really looking for right now. had

45:37 two three trick play games last weekend

45:40 for the party animals. And Jake Skull,

45:42 the hometown kid, making his first start

45:44 in right field since the 25th of April.

45:47 Good to see him getting healthier and

45:48 healthier. And in the middle of it all

45:50 with one trick play on his season.

45:52 Garrett Deleno. It is his fifth Banana

45:54 Ball World Tour. He's one of the best

45:56 pitchers in the history of the sport.

45:58 The overall numbers this year across his

46:00 team leading 28 innings pitched. Not

46:02 what you want, but backto-back fantastic

46:05 starts for Triple 7s. He was the MVP of

46:07 the Banana Ball Championship last year

46:09 for these defending champion party

46:11 animals. So those numbers are just him

46:13 ramping up in the 2026 season. I can

46:16 promise you in that clubhouse, every

46:18 single guy in the black and pink has

46:20 complete confidence in Garrett Deleno

46:22 anytime he's on the bump.

46:23 >> And the lineup that opposes him over for

46:26 the Savannah Bananas. They are presented

46:28 by Tropical Smoothie Cafe. It is a

46:31 scuffling lineup currently, but at the

46:32 top, Dan Overburst as consistent as

46:35 anybody in the sport. Henry Selectiatis,

46:37 Dr. Meadows cleaning it up for a second

46:39 straight game. Robert Anthony Cruz, then

46:41 it's Kyle Jackson, Ryan Cox, Bill Loy,

46:43 and the bottom three. Danny Hosley,

46:45 Jackson Olsson, Max Young Goldberg, and

46:47 Alexi was the only man to go yard here

46:49 in Truist Park a season ago. He's also

46:52 coming off of his first two homer game

46:54 last Saturday in Kyle Field. So,

46:56 starting to swing the bat a lot better.

46:58 a big reason he's in that two-hole

47:00 tonight.

47:01 >> We kick off a three-game series here in

47:03 Atlanta. There's only one thing to do.

47:05 Let's get it down to AJ Kersh.

47:08 now coming to the mound to throw the

47:11 first pitch which actually counts.

47:15 An eighttime allstar, A NATIONAL

47:19 BASEBALL HALL OF FAMER, and a World

47:23 Series CHAMPION WITH YOUR ATLANTA

47:27 BRAVES,

47:29 >> CHIPPER,

47:31 JONES.

47:45 And in black and pink, no less.

47:49 At this moment in time, the most

47:51 monumental guest to ever grace that

47:55 jersey, dawning the party animals, a

47:59 legend in Atlanta.

48:01 And he fires home and it's in there for

48:04 a strike. Chipper Jones. THE FIRST

48:07 STRIKE THAT counts in this ball game.

48:10 AND IT BENEFITS THE BLACK AND PINK.

48:13 CALM, COOL, COLLECTED.

48:17 Spent the entirety of his 19-year career

48:19 in the bigs with the Braves and one of

48:21 the best players in franchise history.

48:35 Still got some good bo on the fast ball,

48:37 too.

48:39 >> It's not a throw across the diamond, but

48:41 he gunned that in. All right, AJ,

48:44 >> the moment you have BEEN WAITING FOR HAS

48:47 ARRIVED. It is time to kick off the

48:50 greatest party in sports. We're gonna

48:54 count it down to start the patented

48:57 banana ball twohour time limit clock.

49:00 Instead of zero, I need each and every

49:02 one of you to yell start the party as

49:06 loud as you can. Here we go. 3 2 1

49:19 and away we go. Gentlemen, shake hands,

49:24 slap butts. Let's play banana ball.

49:29 >> Garrett Deleno

49:31 dominated this Bananas lineup two

49:33 weekends ago in the Bronx

49:35 and he started it by striking out the

49:37 side in the first.

49:40 >> Dan Oburst, his longtime jiu-jitsu

49:42 sparring partner, one of those three Ks

49:45 in Yankee Stadium. Across the last nine

49:47 innings, Garrett Deleno just two earned

49:50 runs. Has given up a pair of homers.

49:52 That's been his bugaboo this year. Seven

49:55 hits, two sprints, seven strikeouts.

49:59 >> Bouncer to Baber between the legs. Heck

50:01 of a start for the Party Animals.

50:03 >> And in all three of these games, the

50:04 Savannah Bananas could secure the

50:06 equalizer point. If they have more trick

50:08 plays than the home team Party Animals

50:10 going into the final inning, they will

50:12 be awarded an added point. Those trick

50:14 plays are going to be huge for the black

50:16 and pink.

50:17 >> And early on in the ball games, you want

50:19 to try and put as much pressure on as

50:21 possible. Really nice, easy play for

50:23 Dustin Ber to make. Doesn't try and do

50:25 too much. And the animals on the board

50:27 quickly in that trick play department.

50:30 20th trick play of the year for Derek

50:32 Jinger as Reese Alexiatis takes a fast

50:35 ball for strike one. He was the only

50:37 hitter to homer in the twoame set

50:39 between these two teams in Atlanta last

50:41 year.

50:43 And he did it against Garrett Deleno.

50:45 >> Deleno attacking the zone. 13 ball four

50:48 sprints in his 28 innings this year.

50:50 That's a number that's too high for his

50:51 account.

50:52 >> Looks great so far.

50:56 >> One-two count now on Alexi.

50:59 This is the 16th game for the Bananas.

51:00 It's his 15th time suiting up in the two

51:03 hole in the order

51:10 as the count evens at two and two. Last

51:12 Saturday night he got dropped down to

51:13 the seven hole. Had the first two homer

51:15 game in his banana ball career.

51:18 So back to the two spot for Super Reese.

51:21 And on the 22 he is down swinging. Nasty

51:24 change up.

51:24 >> Show me the crab. Sy Garrett Deleno is

51:27 in his bag early against the arch rival

51:30 Savannah Bananas.

51:34 >> Another look. That thing was dancing.

51:37 >> Yep. And that's where you can see Alexi.

51:40 He knows he's got a great matchup

51:41 against Garrett Deleno. Just tries to do

51:44 a little too much there. Trying to blast

51:46 this one out of Truis Park early.

51:48 Instead, the first punch out of the

51:50 night for Deleno. And now Dr. Meadows

51:52 with a 413 batting average at the dish.

51:56 That puts him at fifth in the Banana

51:58 Ball Championship League right now. And

52:00 it's pacing. The Savannah Bananas

52:03 cranks this one. Foul.

52:06 >> Yeah, you notice Dr. in the eh spot

52:08 tonight. still dealing with a lower body

52:10 injury, so won't be in the outfield. He

52:12 may be the best outfielder in this

52:13 sport, by the way. But that bat is so

52:15 pivotal, you have to have him in the

52:16 lineup.

52:18 >> And he smokes this one out to left

52:20 center. Reese Hampton BEHIND THE BACK.

52:23 WILD TRICK PIPE FROM REESE LIGHTNING.

52:26 >> There's a WHOLE LOT OF YELLOW IN THIS

52:28 COMPLEX FOR A PARTY Animals home game.

52:31 These guys IN THE LAST 6 MINUTES HAVE

52:33 SWAYED THIS CROWD TO PROVE THE PARTY

52:35 ANIMALS ARE HERE TO PUT ON A SHOW

52:37 AGAINST THE FLAGSHIP TEAM IN THIS SPORT.

52:40 I'M NOT SURE YOU COULD ASK FOR much more

52:41 from the Party Animals in their first

52:43 inning. You get two trick plays from two

52:46 of the more prolific guys defensively.

52:48 And Deleno picking UP A K IN 2 MINUTES

52:51 AND 49 seconds

52:52 >> and a strike from Chipper Jones.

52:55 >> Can't forget that. Take a look at the

52:57 Bananas defensive alignment left to

52:59 right in the outfield. It's Rack, Alexi,

53:01 and Hosley. Third to first in the

53:03 infield. KJ Cox, Olsen, Young Goldberg,

53:06 Laroy is behind the plate, and Ziggy the

53:09 designated fielder. Well, now it's time

53:10 for the Bananas to try and match the

53:12 party animals defensively. Jackson

53:14 Olsen's been on a good streak. Trick

53:16 plays in each of his last four contests

53:18 for the Bananas. And with Dr. Meadows

53:20 not in the outfield, Reese Alexiatis

53:22 makes another start in center field for

53:24 the Nanners. You see 10 trick plays for

53:26 Super Reese. Only one of them has come

53:29 in center field this season and it is

53:32 dueling Florida men in Atlanta here

53:34 today. Deleno out of Callahan, Austin

53:36 Drury out of Land O Lakes and the Banana

53:39 Ball rookie. The fourth overall draft

53:41 pick absolutely stupendous. A team high

53:44 21-2. Third innings pitched. The numbers

53:47 took a hit. His first tough outing this

53:49 past Saturday night, but it was a really

53:52 rough mound in Kyle Field. That

53:53 definitely was part of the factor.

53:55 issued four ball four sprints and only

53:57 had three through his first 20 innings

53:59 pitched this season. The main problem

54:01 for Austin Drury was who's matching up

54:03 against Chris Clark at 6'7. His lead

54:06 foot was not planting where Clark's was

54:09 and making it very difficult for him to

54:11 find his typical pinpoint location

54:14 during the night.

54:15 >> Let's take a look at the party animal

54:17 starting lineup presented by Tropical

54:19 Smoothie Cafe. And what a switch up this

54:21 is. Andy Cosgrove at the top. Then it's

54:24 Hampton, Skull, and Reeves, followed by

54:26 Swan, Auff, Ballard, Thomas, Baber, and

54:28 Bloomer.

54:29 >> Cosg Groves was the rookie of the year

54:30 last season. Hampton, a long-term minor

54:32 league guy with the Detroit Tigers. Both

54:33 of those guys batting right at the

54:35 Mendoza line, is not indicative of their

54:37 true talent at the plate. And they both

54:39 got enough power that one big bomb right

54:42 here gives the Party Animals a 1 to zero

54:44 lead early to walk the inning off. Right

54:46 back up the middle. The Party Animals

54:48 will be content with a leadoff single

54:51 from their new leadoff hitter. Cosg Gro,

54:54 the inning winning run is aboard. And

54:56 this is only the second time he's ever

54:58 matted leadoff for the Party Animals.

54:59 They gave him the start in the leadoff

55:01 spot on May the 10th last year in

55:03 Nashville when they were without

55:05 Hampton, Skull, and Bloomer. And he

55:07 proceeded to go two for four in that

55:09 game with the double to help lead them

55:11 to a victory. And speaking of Reese

55:13 Lightning here in his fifth Banana Ball

55:15 World Tour, the all-time leader in hits

55:18 for the sport. This is the first time

55:20 that he hasn't hit in the leadoff spot

55:22 since

55:24 August 17th, 2024. Batted cleanup for

55:28 the Animals.

55:30 >> Wild.

55:34 >> Well, he's got a man aboard, but behind

55:36 the ball and two strikes.

55:42 Mark Smith has already taken over for

55:44 Cosgrove at first. Party Animals

55:46 designated runner can be inserted once

55:48 every time through the order.

55:51 >> Chance for the fans.

55:54 No dice in the second deck.

56:01 >> And although Hampton only hitting 200

56:03 this year, he's getting on base at a 351

56:06 clip. Couple homers, couple doubles.

56:09 He's never been an extremely quick

56:11 starter, but he's such a professional

56:13 hitter. Former Tigers, Diamondbacks,

56:15 minor leaguer. You know, the bat's going

56:16 to come around.

56:17 >> Yeah. Uptick in strikeouts, too.

56:19 Different approach this season. Now he's

56:20 starting to choke up the bat, take abs

56:22 longer, and and dial it in.

56:24 >> Check on Smith over at first,

56:26 >> which it's what you expect from not just

56:27 a minor league veteran, but now a banana

56:29 ball veteran of Reese Hampton. He's

56:31 figured this game out.

56:35 Mark Smith four for four in his stolen

56:37 base tries here in his second tour. Soft

56:40 contact. Cox and KJ coming together.

56:43 Coxy tip. KJ behind the back. We're tied

56:46 at two trick plays a piece.

56:49 And I think we're going to have somebody

56:51 special joining Jake Skull.

56:59 Fans, direct your attention to the video

57:01 board for a message from an old friend.

57:07 >> 3 2 1.

57:10 >> Hey Jake, it's uh Coach Smart, your old

57:12 ball coach from UG. Um, just wanted to

57:15 send you a little message and tell you

57:17 how proud we are of you and your family,

57:19 how well you represented University of

57:21 Georgia and all you've done. Um, who

57:23 would have thought it, man? Uh, Roswell

57:26 BT kid playing in Truest Park, home of

57:29 the Atlanta Braves. Uh, so proud of you,

57:32 man. Just uh, all you've accomplished.

57:35 Uh, and, uh, we'll see you soon. Go

57:37 Dogs.

57:40 NOW JOINING JAKE AT THE PLATE, A TWOTIME

57:45 NATIONAL CHAMPION, A FOURTIME SEC

57:49 CHAMPION, and a threetime SECC coach of

57:54 the year, THE HEAD COACH FOR YOUR

57:57 GEORGIA BULLDOGS,

58:00 Cody

58:02 SP.

58:13 What an emotional moment.

58:18 Jake Skull,

58:19 the former twotime practice squad player

58:22 of the year at the University of

58:24 Georgia. Selfless.

58:27 That's the kind of guy that helped

58:30 builds a national championship program.

58:34 And Kirby Smart said, "No one better.

58:37 at helping create culture in Athens,

58:39 Georgia than Jake Skull. And to be here

58:42 tonight to honor him,

58:46 >> just an incredible display of kindness

58:49 from two heroes in their own respect.

58:53 >> When you think about it from Kirby

58:54 Smart's perspective, it's not every day

58:56 you get a guy with seven years of minor

58:58 league baseball experience you can bring

59:00 in to help out your defensive backs on

59:03 the practice squad. I mean, just talk

59:05 about a professional through and

59:07 through.

59:08 >> What a luxury to have in your locker

59:10 room.

59:12 >> That was Skull's side quest between

59:15 minor league baseball and his

59:16 unbelievable banana ball career. The

59:18 all-time home run leader in the sport

59:21 and the defending MVP.

59:24 And a really fun battle against Austin

59:26 Drury. Combined 12 years of minor league

59:29 experience between pitcher and hitter.

59:34 Yeah. Now, how do you hit after that

59:39 >> bouncer to Cox between the leg transfer

59:42 KJ not in time. Good to see Skull

59:45 running well. Still nursing that sore

59:47 right hamstring

59:49 >> and he makes sure it's just a

59:50 fieldielder's choice.

59:51 >> Yep. 80 85% on that hamstring. to see

59:55 him leg that out on the fieldielder's

59:57 choice and at least reach base safely

59:59 himself. That's a great sign for his

1:00:01 health

1:00:03 and he's grabbed 90 ft for the four hole

1:00:05 TJ Reeves. Still does make things a

1:00:07 little difficult in this inning for the

1:00:08 party animals having already used their

1:00:10 designated runner Mark Smith but

1:00:12 nonetheless a wild pitch from AD will

1:00:14 send Skull easily up to second base.

1:00:17 Yeah, that simplifies matters just like

1:00:20 that.

1:00:22 The inning winning run into scoring

1:00:23 position. TJ Reeves, the Banana Ball

1:00:25 rookie, leading the Party Animals,

1:00:27 hitting .382.

1:00:31 Guy who started his college baseball

1:00:33 career at Alabama. Finished up at

1:00:34 Jacksonville State. Just missed Kyle

1:00:36 Lewigs by one year.

1:00:40 Flips this one out to right center.

1:00:42 That's trouble. HOSLEY'S GOT A GREAT

1:00:44 ARM. SKULL CHUGGING HOME. WALK-OFF

1:00:47 SINGLE. TJ REEVES. THE FIRST WALK-OFF IN

1:00:50 HIS BANANA BALL CAREER AS THE PARTY

1:00:53 ANIMALS STRIKE FIRST. Jake Skull

1:00:55 everything he had for that 180 ft. And

1:00:58 greeted by his old ball coach Kirby

1:01:00 Smart in the dugout to congratulate him,

1:01:02 the Party Animals HAVE A 1 TO ZERO LEAD

1:01:05 OVER THE SAVANNAH BANANAS here in Truis

1:01:08 Park.

1:01:18 warning track. Fellas, what what's going

1:01:20 on?

1:01:21 >> I'll tell you what's going on. We have

1:01:24 one of the weirdest games we've ever

1:01:26 played here at Banana Ball. We call this

1:01:29 game mattress surfing. When I say go,

1:01:34 each couple are going to have to take

1:01:36 turns running and sliding that mattress

1:01:39 as far as they can, roll right off, and

1:01:42 then their partner is going to repeat

1:01:44 that process until they cross that

1:01:47 finish line. Professor, who do you have

1:01:48 over there?

1:01:50 >> I've got Travis and Allison, and they

1:01:53 are just friends. They are just friends.

1:01:56 His wife is up in the stands. She didn't

1:01:57 want to do it. It's It's weird, but they

1:01:59 are a lot of synergy. You're going down,

1:02:01 AJ. Well, we got Mitchell and Taylor

1:02:04 over here, and I'm feeling pretty good

1:02:06 about our team. LET'S FIND OUT WHO THE

1:02:08 BETTER MATTRESS SURFERS ARE in three,

1:02:12 two, one, go.

1:02:16 Oh, we're off to a good start over on

1:02:18 this side.

1:02:20 Oh, yeah. We're cooking with gas here.

1:02:27 >> Slides from Travis

1:02:48 It's really his number. Try it out.

1:02:50 Everybody,

1:02:52 >> give it a shot.

1:02:54 >> I've got both comments and complaints.

1:02:59 I thought Vincent had a fantastic first

1:03:01 inning of action here to kick things

1:03:04 off. This threeame set headlining series

1:03:08 for the party animals as we get the tail

1:03:10 end of a brand new promotion.

1:03:11 >> And jokes aside, there are few people,

1:03:14 few human beings who are more banana

1:03:16 ball than Vincent Chapman. He is great

1:03:18 for the sport.

1:03:19 >> 100%.

1:03:21 >> As is Robert Anthony Cruz,

1:03:22 >> man. Come on. GOOD SEGUE.

1:03:24 >> STORY JUST writes itself.

1:03:25 >> Yeah.

1:03:27 You'd think he was built in a lab for

1:03:29 banana ball.

1:03:29 >> I got chills. That was good.

1:03:31 >> Former Nationals, minor leager,

1:03:34 massive social media following thanks to

1:03:36 his fantastic

1:03:39 coaching and baseball content as he

1:03:43 sends this to Hampton. Tip drill. You

1:03:46 betcha. We're tied at three trick plays

1:03:49 each as the Party Animals lead this game

1:03:51 one point to nothing. And a smart play

1:03:53 by Reese Hampton on a lazy fly ball.

1:03:55 just keeping that in front of him. A

1:03:57 nice easy tip up to himself to even this

1:04:00 trick play score. Now both teams with

1:04:03 three trick plays tonight.

1:04:08 >> Another guy you think was built in a lab

1:04:10 for this sport. Kyle Jackson, this is

1:04:12 his second full tour. Debuted on Banana

1:04:15 Ball's developmental team, the Visitors

1:04:17 in 2024. And the numbers video game once

1:04:20 again.

1:04:22 He was the runner up for the rookie of

1:04:24 the year last year, losing to the party

1:04:27 animals catcher Andy Cosgrove,

1:04:31 but not for a lack of fantastic numbers.

1:04:35 AJ led last year's tour of 481 on base

1:04:38 percentage. Comes in reaching base at a

1:04:40 455 clip tonight, hitting 362.

1:04:46 And a Banana's team high eight extra

1:04:47 base hits trying to turn it into nine.

1:04:50 He's going to test THE ARM OF JAKE

1:04:51 SCHOOL and KJ his team leading fifth

1:04:55 double.

1:04:59 And that's what the Bananas are hoping

1:05:01 to see from Kyle Jackson. Excellent

1:05:04 hustle and his first extra base hit

1:05:06 since March the 28th against the

1:05:08 Indianapolis Clowns that helped him

1:05:10 complete his cycle. So, if the Bananas

1:05:13 want to get back in these win columns,

1:05:15 they are going to need Kyle Jackson to

1:05:17 play like the superstar that he is.

1:05:23 Ryan Cox having a pretty ridiculous

1:05:25 fifth Banana Ball World Tour. Another

1:05:27 legend of the sport.

1:05:32 Known for his prowess defensively, but

1:05:33 what a hitter he's turned into.

1:05:38 He's the only player in the history of

1:05:39 the sport with more than 600 trick

1:05:41 plays. Nobody else has gotten to 400 yet

1:05:44 for reference but hitting 345

1:05:47 OPS above 1100 team high 14 ball four

1:05:51 sprints he's only struck out six times

1:05:52 32% of his plate appearances this season

1:05:55 have resulted in ball four sprints for

1:05:57 Ryan Cox it's been incredibly productive

1:06:00 as this one has bounced over to Dustin

1:06:02 Babber at second and he'll go between

1:06:04 the legs for a second time tonight and

1:06:06 put the party animals back out in front

1:06:09 in the trick play lead. KJ Scampers over

1:06:12 to third. Two outs with Bill Roy coming

1:06:14 up.

1:06:17 It's been Babber and Hampton. Two trick

1:06:19 plays a piece

1:06:21 pacing the party animals. And son of a

1:06:23 gun. Look at the numbers for Bill Loy in

1:06:26 April. He was just about unstoppable.

1:06:34 Can't complain when your batting average

1:06:36 is north of 500, your OPS is above

1:06:38 1,600.

1:06:46 Great stop. Andy Cosgrove just saved a

1:06:48 run.

1:06:55 Loy on the year hitting 375.

1:06:59 His maiden voyage in Banana land was the

1:07:01 same as Garrett Delena. teammates in

1:07:03 2018 as collegiate Savannah Bananas and

1:07:06 battery mates.

1:07:09 >> Bill fouls the fast ball straight back.

1:07:12 >> Yeah, and this is what's pretty massive

1:07:13 for Garrett Deleno right now. A big

1:07:15 reason we've seen a turnaround across

1:07:16 his last two starts. Ball four sprints

1:07:19 have dropped down. He's gotten ahead and

1:07:20 count so much better like you see here

1:07:22 against

1:07:23 >> Loy.

1:07:29 >> Wow, heck of a take on the change up.

1:07:31 just misses down and out

1:07:32 >> and deuce is wild.

1:07:34 >> No reaction from Deleno, too. He's cool

1:07:35 as a cucumber out there. This is

1:07:37 strictly business.

1:07:39 >> KJ leads off third. Loy trying to bring

1:07:43 him in.

1:07:45 Chance for the fans to get the party

1:07:46 animals out of the inning. They do not

1:07:48 make the catch in the third deck,

1:07:54 but great to see the souvenir fall into

1:07:56 friendly hands.

1:07:59 Another

1:08:04 2-2.

1:08:06 Great take by Loy Cosgrove. A heck of a

1:08:08 job smothering that.

1:08:14 This is where pitching is so hard in

1:08:16 Banana Ball. No such thing as an open

1:08:18 base. Ball four will bring in Kyle

1:08:20 Jackson from third.

1:08:23 The payoff

1:08:25 fouled away. Another chance for the

1:08:27 fans. No catch.

1:08:32 >> Yeah, that level of discipline from Bill

1:08:34 Loy just to find a piece of the ball

1:08:37 makes it doubly tough on Deleno to have

1:08:39 to keep filling up the zone.

1:08:42 Another 3-2

1:08:44 called strike three. GARRETT DELENO.

1:08:48 THIS IS AS GOOD AS WE'VE SEEN HIM IN ALL

1:08:50 OF 2026. DOMINANT AND STRANDS KYLE

1:08:54 JACKSON AT third base. THE PARTY ANIMALS

1:08:56 STILL LEAD it one point to zero and the

1:08:58 bananas are held off the board.

1:10:12 Hey.

1:10:21 To the bottom of the second we go here.

1:10:23 Bananas against party animals and truest

1:10:26 park.

1:10:27 Beautiful ballpark

1:10:30 built and opened in 2017 and Ted Turner

1:10:34 on the cover of Sports Illustrated

1:10:36 hanging out with us here in the press

1:10:38 box. Rest in peace to the legend.

1:10:41 >> Yeah, man. Such a cool moment pregame

1:10:43 right before the national anthem. moment

1:10:45 of celebration for the life of Ted

1:10:47 Turner. Had everybody in this place up

1:10:49 on their feet and cheering for an icon

1:10:51 in sports, an icon in baseball, in

1:10:54 television. If not for Ted Turner,

1:10:57 millions of Americans would not have had

1:10:58 the access they had to not just great

1:11:00 TV, but the Atlanta Braves. There are

1:11:02 Carson Bowen, our very own, tweeted this

1:11:04 week, he made every effort for kids in

1:11:05 Montana to become Braves fans.

1:11:11 >> Yeah, Sibo kind of went baseball viral

1:11:13 with that one.

1:11:13 >> He did. He did.

1:11:15 >> Love to see it

1:11:16 >> for a leader in the ticket world.

1:11:19 >> Yep.

1:11:20 >> Bouncer from Jason Swan. Nice play. Ryan

1:11:22 Cox between the legs for the trick play

1:11:24 to take care of Swani.

1:11:26 >> We mention here a lot there are no

1:11:28 blackout dates in Banana Ball. You can

1:11:30 watch every game for free. And and that

1:11:34 was Ted Turner's MO to be able to honor

1:11:36 him in this ballpark for a guy who

1:11:39 believed in a lot of what our principles

1:11:41 are at Fans First Entertainment with

1:11:43 both of these teams.

1:11:45 An honor on our behalf.

1:11:48 >> Yeah, Ted Turner owned the Braves for

1:11:49 three decades. My favorite Ted Turner,

1:11:52 fun fact, at one point owned the largest

1:11:55 privatelyowned herd of bison in the

1:11:57 country as Aka shoots this through the

1:12:00 six hole and has himself a one-out

1:12:02 single.

1:12:03 As a diehard Bison fan myself in the

1:12:06 animal kingdom game recognizes game.

1:12:09 Yep.

1:12:09 >> I have yet to own one,

1:12:13 >> but I yearn for it.

1:12:18 >> Such a a creature.

1:12:21 >> They say if you look in the eyes, you

1:12:22 can see thousands of years back in time.

1:12:25 >> That's not true.

1:12:26 >> That they say that.

1:12:27 >> I've tried multiple times.

1:12:30 See, I haven't made the attempt, so I'm

1:12:32 still a believer.

1:12:34 I'm also a believer in Mike Ballard, and

1:12:36 the numbers don't lie either. He's

1:12:37 having a crazy rookie season so far,

1:12:40 pacing the party animals with his 17

1:12:42 RBI's, hitting 362. And it turns out the

1:12:45 seashells aren't really the sound of the

1:12:47 ocean.

1:12:50 >> Yeah, I've been out on that actually

1:12:51 since I was a kid.

1:12:53 >> But the tooth fairy real.

1:12:56 >> Yeah, no doubt about it. Low strike to

1:13:01 run the count full.

1:13:10 >> Lifted deep down the right field line

1:13:13 and Danny Hosley basket catch. Not a lot

1:13:15 of room to play with. Danny Dittle

1:13:18 showing off the range.

1:13:19 >> And you saw such an uncomfortable catch

1:13:21 for Danny Hosley because he really

1:13:23 didn't think he was going to have any

1:13:25 more room as he was nearing that wall

1:13:28 down the right field line. Impressive

1:13:31 play from Hosley to stay with that

1:13:33 banana ball and record a second out in

1:13:36 the inning for Austin Drury, especially

1:13:38 against a redhot batten Ballard.

1:13:40 Speaking of red hot, got a quick look at

1:13:42 the numbers for Tanner Thomas on route

1:13:45 to winning.

1:13:46 >> Banana ball player of the week last

1:13:47 week.

1:13:48 >> Couple of long balls in Las Vegas

1:13:52 >> on night two and night three for the

1:13:54 party animals.

1:13:56 Two of the few bright spots in a couple

1:13:58 of games where the animals fell hard to

1:14:00 the Loco Beach Coconuts.

1:14:02 >> It was a blowout loss Saturday,

1:14:04 >> right?

1:14:05 >> Then a heartbreaker in showdowns.

1:14:08 They get a blowout on Friday,

1:14:09 heartbreaker on Saturday.

1:14:15 >> Good spoil there on the two strike

1:14:17 offering from Tanner Thomas.

1:14:20 Pacing the Party Animals with his three

1:14:22 homers on the year, hitting 350,

1:14:25 reaching base out of 458 clip. And also

1:14:28 rocking a sevengame hit streak right now

1:14:30 for the boys in black and pink.

1:14:33 >> Bouncer fielded BETWEEN THE LEGS. 360

1:14:35 BEHIND THE BACK TRANSFER, BUT ALEX

1:14:37 ZIEGLER can't scoop it between the legs.

1:14:39 He thought he did. It was going to be an

1:14:42 absolutely wild double trick play.

1:14:44 Instead, the inning is prolonged.

1:14:49 >> Zig just trying to get a little

1:14:50 aggressive over there at first base. And

1:14:52 it would have already been four trick

1:14:54 plays on the night for Ryan Cox.

1:14:57 Instead, a trick play miss that extends

1:14:59 this inning for the Partyals. And the

1:15:00 Bananas, they did not score in the top

1:15:03 half of the frame. So, a ball for

1:15:05 sprint, a base knock potentially scores

1:15:07 Chase AU and puts the Party Animals up

1:15:10 two nothing already.

1:15:13 >> The fate of the frame in the hands of

1:15:15 Dustin Baber behind 01 in the count

1:15:20 here in his fourth world tour, fifth

1:15:22 year in Banana Ball.

1:15:25 >> Babas right side. Ziegler a chance for

1:15:28 redemption. Oh, he cannot make what

1:15:31 would have been a stupendous

1:15:32 over-the-shoulder catch.

1:15:34 Yeah, incredibly tough play for Ziggy

1:15:40 >> for Ber to stay alive. Man, this this is

1:15:42 a guy who six ball four sprints to his

1:15:44 five strikeouts. He's making a lot of

1:15:46 contact through 37 plate appearances.

1:15:50 Just hasn't found the holes yet.

1:15:52 >> A lot of bad luck on the balls in play.

1:15:54 >> Absolutely.

1:15:59 >> The pride of Babson Park, Florida.

1:16:03 doesn't bite on the elevated fast.

1:16:15 >> Liner up THE MIDDLE CHARGING IN.

1:16:16 ALEXIATIS TAKES IT ON A HOP. HE'S GOT A

1:16:19 CANNON. THE THROW HOME OFFLINE. AUFF

1:16:22 SCORES. DUSTIN BABBER IN THE CLUTCH TO

1:16:25 DOUBLE THE LEAD FOR THE ANIMALS.

1:16:26 >> DUSTIN BABBER IN FRONT OF 40,000.

1:16:30 YOU'RE HITTING 167. NEED A PICKME UP.

1:16:34 >> BABAVER'S GOT IT. THE PARTY ANIMALS

1:16:37 EARLY TWO POINTS TO ZERO OVER THE

1:16:39 SAVANNAH BANANAS ON TRUE TV.

1:16:53 >> Mattress surfing was unhinged. Wait till

1:16:56 you get a load of this. We've got four

1:16:58 contestants who are about to embark on a

1:17:00 race where they are going to have to

1:17:02 start by putting on ridiculously

1:17:04 oversized pants, hop their way over to

1:17:08 their partners where they are going to

1:17:10 have to step into a separate leg of the

1:17:14 same pants and hop their way back to the

1:17:17 FINISH LINE. THEY'RE FILLING some pretty

1:17:20 big bridges and there's a good chance

1:17:23 they're going to take a tumble, which is

1:17:24 why we call this bridges BE TRIPPING.

1:17:28 ARE YOU READY?

1:17:30 Go

1:17:34 into that single leg of these oversized

1:17:36 pants. Look at those hopping skills.

1:17:40 You've done this before, haven't you?

1:17:44 It is a close race. Oh no.

1:17:48 Pritches have tripped.

1:17:55 >> You're doing great. OH, NOW SHE GOES

1:17:57 AGAIN. AND WE'VE GOT SOME teamwork over

1:18:00 on this side.

1:18:04 >> You're watching Banana Ball on True TV,

1:18:07 presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Two

1:18:10 innings in the books, two points on the

1:18:13 board for the party animals. Walk-offs

1:18:16 from Reeves and Bab. And we set our

1:18:19 focus on the starting left fielder, the

1:18:22 legend himself, wanted both here in the

1:18:26 US and down under, TANNER TINDER THOMAS.

1:18:29 Thanks for joining us on the broadcast,

1:18:31 man.

1:18:31 >> Two of my favorite people up there. How

1:18:33 we doing y'all? This is a beautiful,

1:18:36 beautiful day here in Atlanta. What's

1:18:38 up, y'all?

1:18:39 >> Hey, what's wrong with Josh?

1:18:42 >> OH, JOSH, I'M so sorry.

1:18:43 >> No, he was talking about you. Oh, no,

1:18:46 no,

1:18:46 >> no, no, no. It's everybody up there. My

1:18:48 favorite people. I shouldn't have put a

1:18:50 number on out. I'm so sorry.

1:18:52 >> I was wondering who's the odd man out.

1:18:54 >> I'M SORRY.

1:18:56 >> WHAT A GREAT way to start it. Danny

1:18:58 Hosley leads off this top of the third

1:19:00 inning. Uh Tanner last weekend in Vegas.

1:19:02 Although you guys dropped two of the

1:19:04 three games, you were on fire as Hosley

1:19:07 launched this out to straightaway

1:19:08 center. Hampton catches it the

1:19:11 oldfashioned way to get us going. But

1:19:13 four for seven, two homers, three

1:19:15 sprints, five runs driven in, couple

1:19:18 trick plays, a walk-off. I mean, what

1:19:20 was going well for you in Vegas?

1:19:21 >> You know what, man? I I got lucky, dude.

1:19:23 It was a heck of a week in New York, and

1:19:25 then it turned into a heck of a week in

1:19:27 Vegas. And my dad always says,

1:19:28 "Preparation meets an opportunity, and

1:19:31 that is what you call lucky right

1:19:32 there." So, I worked hard. I had surgery

1:19:34 in November, and I've just been grinding

1:19:36 so so much. And I felt like it finally

1:19:39 felt like I was back and strong and back

1:19:41 to who I was. So I I say I got lucky.

1:19:43 >> What have What have been the big

1:19:44 adjustments for you? What do you feel

1:19:46 has really started to click?

1:19:48 >> You know what, man? I started taking

1:19:49 everything slow, taking a deep breath

1:19:51 and during in the box, not trying to get

1:19:53 sped up. When I was doing my recovery, I

1:19:55 felt like I like had to catch up and get

1:19:57 back to who I was. But then finally, I

1:19:59 felt like I was strong enough and

1:20:00 slowing the game down. And I just it is

1:20:03 what it is now. So I finally just

1:20:05 trusted myself at the plate, slowed

1:20:07 things down, and stuff started clicking

1:20:09 again. Tanner Garrett Deleno is working

1:20:11 efficiently right now. The whole team

1:20:13 seems to be on another level. Take me

1:20:15 through the Party Animals first headline

1:20:17 game at a Major League Baseball stadium.

1:20:20 >> I'll tell you all what this is a series

1:20:22 that the Party Animals have been waiting

1:20:24 for for so many years now. We've always

1:20:26 been the away team and felt like we

1:20:28 weren't in the spotlight and we've just

1:20:30 been grinding every single year just

1:20:32 trying to prove that hey, we can play

1:20:33 some ball too and put on one of the best

1:20:35 shows in the entire world. And this

1:20:37 weekend it finally is coming true. And

1:20:39 I'll tell you what, the Party Animals,

1:20:40 we are so so fired up to play this

1:20:43 weekend in a place like Atlanta and

1:20:44 Truest Park. It couldn't have been a

1:20:46 better place for the Party Animals to

1:20:47 get their first ever headliner in an MLB

1:20:49 stadium against the Savannah Bananas.

1:20:52 Two-1 count on Max Young Goldberg. Yeah,

1:20:54 I mean, you guys have earned this in

1:20:57 spades and are proving that the Party

1:21:00 Animal Show is as good as any in the

1:21:02 sport. It's been a wild ride so far here

1:21:05 tonight as MJG is ahead 3-1.

1:21:08 >> Tanner, what's changed since that first

1:21:09 headline game against the Aussie Drop

1:21:11 Bears in 2023?

1:21:12 >> It's so much so much so much time and

1:21:15 passion and

1:21:16 >> I'm not going to lie. Hold on.

1:21:19 >> Yep. Pause. Pause for sprint defense.

1:21:21 Good hustle, Tanner.

1:21:23 >> Thank you. Thank you. I'm not going to

1:21:24 lie, boys. It makes me want it makes you

1:21:25 teary eyed thinking about it cuz

1:21:27 >> I put so much time

1:21:29 >> into this dang team and I love these

1:21:31 boys with all my heart. It's just really

1:21:34 cool. It really is.

1:21:35 >> I mean, you guys have come a really long

1:21:37 way, but those three innings against the

1:21:39 Aussie Drop Bears were three of the most

1:21:41 entertaining innings of Banana Ball

1:21:42 history.

1:21:43 >> I I still need to thank you. I believe

1:21:44 you loaned me the hot AF headband and I

1:21:47 still own it.

1:21:48 >> You're so right. The Tinder headband.

1:21:50 You're so right. And Josh took some of

1:21:52 the best selfies in his entire life in

1:21:54 that thing.

1:21:55 >> That That was fun. I mean,

1:21:56 >> I was eating.

1:21:58 >> You were eating, Josh. You were

1:22:00 definitely eating right there,

1:22:01 >> Tanner. That kind of emotion. How do you

1:22:02 play? How do you play through that? How

1:22:04 do you play with that?

1:22:05 >> It's just you got to like not suppress

1:22:08 it, but it's more excitement than it is

1:22:10 like anything else. So, it's really just

1:22:12 just got to breathe through it and

1:22:14 everything. But, I don't know. It's it's

1:22:16 it's fun to be out here with my best

1:22:18 friends. And there's still plenty of

1:22:19 guys on the bananas that I've known for

1:22:21 a very long time. And I've been doing it

1:22:23 with them this whole year. Just learning

1:22:25 from them on how to be a true showman

1:22:27 and be a home team and just

1:22:29 understanding all that stuff. So, it

1:22:31 really is cool. I mean, you just kind of

1:22:33 do it. I mean, if that doesn't tell you

1:22:35 we're passionate, then I don't know what

1:22:37 will. We want to do this. We want to put

1:22:39 smiles on people's faces. That's what

1:22:42 it's all about. And it makes us happy,

1:22:43 too.

1:22:45 >> Check on Bryce Gafi. Wow. Ahead of the

1:22:49 tag, just barely. Bryson Wheeler, the

1:22:51 crew chief with the call.

1:22:52 >> And and Tanner, what about being the

1:22:53 underdog for so long creates this sort

1:22:56 of atmosphere on a day like today?

1:22:59 >> I mean, like I said earlier, like being

1:23:01 the second team, which some people don't

1:23:04 see it like that, but we've always felt

1:23:06 like we're the second team in this whole

1:23:07 thing. And like we've always wanted it.

1:23:10 We've always wanted it. And we work hard

1:23:13 and we post like double the amount of

1:23:15 posts to try and get this spotlight. and

1:23:17 get more fans. And Jared Orton said it

1:23:19 today and Jesse says it all the time.

1:23:21 You get fans by one fan at a time,

1:23:23 making someone's day and making their

1:23:25 experience awesome. So, we've the last

1:23:28 few years we've gone fan by fan to try

1:23:31 and get more fans for the party animals.

1:23:33 And that's just been a grind for

1:23:35 multiple years and it finally feels like

1:23:36 it's paying off.

1:23:37 >> Yeah, that's cool.

1:23:38 >> One, two, pitch.

1:23:41 >> Dan laser beam racing. Saves the frame

1:23:44 for the animals. This team is clicking

1:23:47 like they have not clicked in 2026 yet.

1:23:50 Tanner Thomas, whatever's happening

1:23:52 right now, please do not stop.

1:23:54 >> It's our time, baby. Thank you, boys. I

1:23:56 appreciate y'all.

1:23:58 >> Tanner, best of luck tonight.

1:23:59 >> Thank you. Thank you. See y'all later.

1:24:00 Love y'all.

1:24:01 >> Love you, Tanner.

1:24:08 >> Teens in foster care without a permanent

1:24:10 home. Look around. That's enough to fill

1:24:13 Truest Park 10 times. To raise awareness

1:24:16 and support this community, we created

1:24:18 Bananas Foster, the official nonprofit

1:24:21 of Banana Ball. Our organization is

1:24:23 dedicated to celebrating the foster care

1:24:25 community while educating and inspiring

1:24:28 others to get involved. Tonight, we are

1:24:30 celebrating the Crider family. Dustin

1:24:33 and Lisa are no strangers to adoption

1:24:36 and have adopted three kiddos into their

1:24:39 family. Beyond their work as parents,

1:24:41 they are also volunteers as mentors to

1:24:45 children and teens experiencing foster

1:24:47 care, which led them to Brenda.

1:24:51 They were mentoring Brenda as

1:24:53 volunteers, and Brenda needed a new

1:24:56 foster home. So, they became licensed

1:24:59 foster parents to take her in. After

1:25:02 five years in foster care, Brenda is

1:25:05 officially becoming a member of the

1:25:07 Crider family this summer. Fans, please

1:25:11 welcome to the field the Crider family

1:25:13 and Brenda for making a difference right

1:25:15 here in your community.

1:25:48 This is what it's all about right here.

1:25:50 Another massive shout out to Dustin and

1:25:53 Lisa Krider, superheroes in the foster

1:25:55 care community.

1:25:58 And what a special announcement.

1:26:00 Congratulations to Brenda finding her

1:26:03 >> forever family as well. I mean, that's

1:26:04 why we do it,

1:26:05 >> man. And and the growth of the sport.

1:26:08 Again, I want to talk the little

1:26:09 details. Everything speaks for them to

1:26:11 be in party animals jerseys and walk out

1:26:14 in the middle of the field amongst a

1:26:15 crowd. It's a great mix of animals and

1:26:17 bananas fans. This is special. Tonight

1:26:21 is so special from a party animals

1:26:22 perspective, from a banana ball

1:26:24 championship league perspective. And I

1:26:26 tell you what, Garrett Deleno, you talk

1:26:28 special.

1:26:28 >> Yeah.

1:26:29 >> Here's a guy who in the last two innings

1:26:32 has stranded a man in scoring position.

1:26:34 And after a rough start to his 2026, a

1:26:37 catastrophic start if you asked him to

1:26:38 his 2026, Deleno looks as good as he has

1:26:41 all year. Tonight he's fooling guys on

1:26:44 the mound.

1:26:46 >> Yeah. So far, three scoreless frames

1:26:48 twirled by Deleno with three strikeouts

1:26:51 and he has really turned the corner

1:26:53 after the banana ball open. These last

1:26:55 two starts fantastic. Yeah, I mean he

1:26:57 had more ball force sprints than

1:26:58 strikeouts before the open. Since then,

1:27:00 if you include tonight, 10 strikeouts

1:27:03 for Deleno. Only three sprints allowed.

1:27:06 And you see so many fewer base runners

1:27:08 per inning for Garrett Deleno right now.

1:27:10 Was averaging over two before the open.

1:27:12 Now down to one per inning pitch. And a

1:27:15 big reason he's working a lot faster.

1:27:18 And for Triple 7, he's only had two

1:27:21 three ball counts through the first 11

1:27:23 guys IN SPACE AS RYAN COX LAYS OUT AND

1:27:27 FLASHES THE LEATHER YET AGAIN TONIGHT

1:27:30 AND DOES THE JORDAN FINGER OR THE

1:27:33 MATUMBO FINGER WAG.

1:27:34 >> WHAT AN INCREDIBLE play from Ryan Cox.

1:27:38 >> OH MY GOSH, THAT'S AS good of a sag as

1:27:40 they get on a banana ball field. And

1:27:42 that's backto-back weekends with a web

1:27:43 gem for Cox. He's known for the trick

1:27:45 plays, but backto-back weekends, he's

1:27:48 laid out to take a hit away from a

1:27:51 worthy foe.

1:27:52 >> Yeah.

1:27:52 >> Well, here's the thing. I mean, the

1:27:53 Bananas are spending so much time game

1:27:55 planning for their opponents. These guys

1:27:58 know exactly where they need to set up

1:27:59 against specific guys in that batters

1:28:01 box. Cox positioned himself perfectly

1:28:04 against Bloomer, who's been very, very

1:28:06 much pull happy this season. Low strike.

1:28:09 Candy Cosbro not a fan of the call from

1:28:11 Vincent Chapman

1:28:14 gets Austin Drury back in this plate

1:28:16 appearance

1:28:18 and now the count even at two and two.

1:28:20 Another fast ball poured in.

1:28:21 >> First pitch cause saw tonight took a

1:28:24 healthy hack. Had a single help the

1:28:25 animals walk off that first inning.

1:28:28 >> And he's got himself another two for two

1:28:31 on the night in the leadoff spot for the

1:28:33 former Twins minor leager. That's a guy

1:28:36 who he tell you has been frustrated over

1:28:38 the first couple of months of this

1:28:39 season and a lot of times he he gets the

1:28:41 draw of facing an entertainment pitcher

1:28:43 like a a stilts and and K is just a lot

1:28:48 of weak contact popups, hard hit balls

1:28:51 that go right to somebody. Now he's two

1:28:53 for two this evening. Massive confidence

1:28:55 boost for a guy that would tell you he

1:28:56 needs it.

1:28:59 Reese Hampton good charge into this and

1:29:03 we're straight to Robert Anthony Cruz.

1:29:05 Was thinking about a backflip catch just

1:29:07 couldn't line it up perfectly.

1:29:08 >> Yeah, that ball was continuing to carry

1:29:09 on Robert Anthony Cruz and you can see

1:29:11 it in his smile as he throws that back

1:29:15 into the infield. Was not expecting that

1:29:17 ball to continue to drift on him.

1:29:19 Nonetheless, Drury with two outs. And

1:29:22 it's up to the bananas to have some sure

1:29:24 defense behind him. Unlike the last

1:29:26 inning which led to that animals

1:29:28 walk-off.

1:29:29 >> Jake Skull known for the thump in his

1:29:31 bat. It was his hustle that got the

1:29:34 first point on the board tonight for the

1:29:35 party animals.

1:29:37 >> Hamstrings at 80%. The dude can't run.

1:29:39 He can't sprint. But he legged around

1:29:41 all four bases. Fielder's choice. Swipe

1:29:44 a bag. 180 ft on a bloop single. And

1:29:48 you've just got to know that's the stuff

1:29:50 that Kirby Smart was used to seeing out

1:29:52 of Jake Skull when he was on that

1:29:54 practice team.

1:29:55 >> I mean, what a what an incredible human

1:29:57 being.

1:30:01 >> His fianceé Avery, their son Jet in the

1:30:03 ballpark tonight.

1:30:06 And Skull has become the heart of what

1:30:07 Banana Ball is. First round draft pick,

1:30:10 the Texas Rangers. Plays college

1:30:12 football, practice squad guy. Now here,

1:30:14 he's a star. I think about he spent his

1:30:17 entire life with the highest

1:30:20 expectations possible reaching for that

1:30:23 and at the age of 30 finds himself in

1:30:25 this sport and now a few years later is

1:30:28 the king of this sport the MVP

1:30:32 >> putting up a heck of a fight here.

1:30:34 Finally sees his first ball from Drury.

1:30:44 >> Another foul ball. another chance for

1:30:46 the fans.

1:30:48 >> I mean, think about you're on the

1:30:50 practice squad as a senior. Your

1:30:52 football season ends. What's next in

1:30:54 your life? What's next in your career?

1:30:56 What are you going to do now? And and 7

1:30:59 years later, he's standing in front of

1:31:01 40,000 people in his hometown playing in

1:31:04 a Major League Baseball stadium.

1:31:07 >> Yeah. Originally from Roswell, Georgia,

1:31:09 lives in Woodstock these days. So, nice

1:31:11 easy trip for Avery and Jet. There

1:31:13 aren't books like that, man. There

1:31:15 aren't books like Jake Skull story.

1:31:18 >> 2-2.

1:31:20 What a battle. He's worked it from 02 to

1:31:22 3-2.

1:31:27 Ninth pitch coming

1:31:33 and a highf fly ball. Medium depth.

1:31:36 Hosley with the call and the catch. And

1:31:39 Austin Drury finally survives a frame.

1:31:42 Strands Mark Smith on first and it's a

1:31:45 two nothing lead for the Animals through

1:31:47 three innings.

1:31:47 >> And from one hometown kid to another,

1:31:49 Rex Castillo has Ashton Landell.

1:31:53 >> As you guys mentioned, it is a

1:31:54 homecoming for a lot of our banana ball

1:31:56 players, INCLUDING THE PRIDE OF WHEELER

1:31:57 HIGH SCHOOL. LET'S GIVE A WAVE

1:31:59 EVERYBODY. Ashton Landell here with her

1:32:00 friends and family. Ashton, what does it

1:32:02 mean? You grew up a Braves fan and now

1:32:04 your family's here for a, you know, a

1:32:07 game that you guys are headlining. What

1:32:08 does this mean to you?

1:32:09 >> It means the world. I mean, I feel like

1:32:10 I'm playing a baseball game in my

1:32:12 backyard. But I have a brave tattoo on

1:32:13 my leg. Like I'm just so at home right

1:32:15 now. It's amazing. The love here is just

1:32:17 like courarssing through my veins. I got

1:32:19 my family next to me. So this is just

1:32:21 everything that you play for. Everything

1:32:22 that you dream of to play in your

1:32:24 hometown from a soldout crowd in front

1:32:25 of your childhood dream teams field. I

1:32:27 mean this is just everything my little

1:32:28 kid, my little self would ask for.

1:32:30 >> And Camden, the younger brother here,

1:32:31 your sister is balling out. HER TEAM'S

1:32:33 BALLING OUT RIGHT NOW. What is this like

1:32:35 to see this?

1:32:35 >> It's so sick. I mean, I've grown up

1:32:37 watching her play all my life. She's my

1:32:39 biggest hero and I love her so much.

1:32:43 >> It's a beautiful thing. Baseball is a

1:32:45 family atmosphere. That must look at

1:32:46 that. See anything else you like?

1:32:48 >> Tear up. I love you, Cam. I love you,

1:32:50 Atlanta. I love everybody. And thank

1:32:52 you, Rex.

1:32:53 >> It's all love up here, guys. Back to

1:32:54 you.

1:32:56 >> Just a stalwart for women in sports.

1:33:00 Ashton Landell. You You take the Jake

1:33:02 Skull story and he never could have

1:33:04 guessed he'd be in a venue like this

1:33:05 playing for a soldout crowd. for Ashton

1:33:07 Landell and the women who have to fight

1:33:10 to get a a spotlight like like this in

1:33:12 sports with the Banana Ball Championship

1:33:14 League has delivered is something Ashton

1:33:17 Landell has taken full advantage of and

1:33:19 fought for her entire career. She never

1:33:21 could have dreamed to be playing today

1:33:23 in front of 40,000 in her hometown.

1:33:27 Again, they do not write books like

1:33:29 this. Two incredible human beings who

1:33:31 deserve this stage.

1:33:36 Oh man, what a special three innings of

1:33:38 action we've had so far tonight. Get to

1:33:41 honor our two hometown stars on the

1:33:44 party animals and Garrett Deleno

1:33:47 twirling a gem thus far. Back-to-back

1:33:49 innings he's strand stranded a man in

1:33:52 scoring position

1:33:55 and sets his sights on Reese Selectiatis

1:33:58 who he struck out swinging his first

1:34:00 time.

1:34:06 Two balls, no strikes on Super Reese.

1:34:08 Two, three, and four in the lineup. Due

1:34:09 to swing it here for the Bananas,

1:34:11 chasing two points.

1:34:16 Pop right side. Little Bermuda Triangle

1:34:18 action. Who's going to call it? SWAN.

1:34:20 WHAT A PLAY. JASON SWAN out number one.

1:34:27 I'll tell you what, it's just great play

1:34:29 after another right now for the party

1:34:30 animals. Consider the trick plays you've

1:34:33 seen from these guys. The sliding grab

1:34:35 from Hampton to end the inning. And now

1:34:37 that over the shoulder grab from Jason

1:34:39 Swan. Yeah, he's hopping up. He wants to

1:34:42 be celebrated by the fans here in Truis

1:34:45 Park. What a phenomenal catch.

1:34:47 >> That's in That's in fair territory, too,

1:34:48 Josh.

1:34:50 >> A bobble from Swan right there. Two bags

1:34:52 from the speedy Alexi. Great play by the

1:34:55 first baseman,

1:34:59 >> Dr. Artos similar pop right side. Jason

1:35:02 Swan

1:35:04 makes out number two.

1:35:08 Much lower level when it comes to the

1:35:11 degree of difficulty on that one.

1:35:15 You know, I think we've talked an awful

1:35:16 lot about, you know, some of the ups and

1:35:18 downs for Garrett Deleno this season,

1:35:20 but for the most part, it really hasn't

1:35:22 been the case against the Savannah

1:35:24 Bananas. And you can just look at things

1:35:26 such as the opponent's batting average

1:35:28 for Deleno.

1:35:29 316 overall this season, but the Bananas

1:35:32 at a 256 mark currently against Garrett

1:35:36 Delena. Just goes to show he's had a lot

1:35:38 of success when he's faced the guys in

1:35:40 yellow. Soft one. That one sneaks by

1:35:42 Swan trying for the trifecta here in the

1:35:46 fourth inning, but Robert Anthony Cruz

1:35:48 has himself a two out knock.

1:35:51 Everybody say,

1:35:55 >> it's three straight innings with some

1:35:57 traffic for the Bananas.

1:35:59 >> They are yet to break through against

1:36:00 Deleno. Kyle Jackson looped a double

1:36:03 down the right field line his first

1:36:05 time.

1:36:15 >> That is a mile high deep down the right

1:36:18 field line. and Jake Skull warning track

1:36:21 power and that's four scalless twirled

1:36:25 by Delena and the fastest inning of the

1:36:28 night for triple 7 as well. 2 minutes

1:36:31 and 27 seconds on the clock for the

1:36:34 righty.

1:36:37 >> KJ just missed it. Little too much

1:36:39 launch angle.

1:36:53 out of your seats on your feet because

1:36:57 it's time for Hey Baby. So, let's get

1:37:01 those hands UP AND LET'S GET THEM

1:37:03 CLAPPING.

1:37:12 >> Here we go.

1:37:26 Let's do it again.

1:37:40 Little shuffle to the left.

1:37:43 To the right. To the left. To the right.

1:37:48 You got it.

1:37:54 Back to Hey, baby.

1:38:03 You are watching Banana Ball on True TV

1:38:05 presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

1:38:09 Over 41,000 fans moving it and grooving

1:38:12 it. The timeless tradition of Hey Baby

1:38:15 and Drake Tol among them. This guy is

1:38:18 bouncing around in the booth, hip

1:38:20 thrusting like you wouldn't believe,

1:38:23 shaking that perm. There he goes. This

1:38:25 is what they call 110%.

1:38:28 Original Morton would be darn proud

1:38:30 right now.

1:38:32 >> I mean, it is mystifying.

1:38:35 >> Gosh. Watch him do it all night long.

1:38:38 >> It's on that route. Bo, ain't no perm

1:38:41 right there. Mama gave me that.

1:38:44 >> Yeah. Okay.

1:38:44 >> Oh, I tipped my Brent Loft back there

1:38:47 for a second.

1:38:48 >> Whoa. Whoa.

1:38:50 >> Mama gave me that.

1:38:54 Is that a little little bologoney art

1:38:57 but peeking through

1:38:58 >> that move almost got me kicked out of

1:38:59 the Cape Cod Baseball League back in

1:39:01 2022.

1:39:02 >> No,

1:39:03 >> that that level of thrust.

1:39:04 >> Oh, okay. Yeah, that that makes sense.

1:39:06 >> Yeah, they didn't like that.

1:39:07 >> Yeah, you can. Two firm thrusts will

1:39:09 play in Banana Ball. Zero up in the

1:39:12 Cape.

1:39:12 >> The Highest Harbor Hawks liked it.

1:39:15 >> The Koua kettali though. Those those

1:39:17 kettleers, man.

1:39:18 >> Yeah, Grandpa Mike always told me about

1:39:21 them.

1:39:22 Diehard Dennis fan right there.

1:39:24 >> And you know what President Jared Orton

1:39:26 says about your grandpa Mike.

1:39:27 >> Oh, of course. But please tell the rest

1:39:31 of the world.

1:39:33 >> He's got the best takes about Kou.

1:39:35 >> Yep.

1:39:36 Oh. Jared always says that. So TJ Reeves

1:39:40 plunged

1:39:42 >> and that one just misses low. Evening up

1:39:45 the count at one and one on Jason Swan.

1:39:49 >> Bounced out to Cox this first time.

1:39:55 What an evolution of his banana ball

1:39:58 game Jason Swan has had across his now

1:40:01 four years in the sport.

1:40:03 Just gets better and better every

1:40:05 season.

1:40:07 >> 64 played appearances, two strikeouts.

1:40:10 What else you want?

1:40:11 >> Well, the 10 sprints are nice.

1:40:14 >> And I don't hate the team high 476 on

1:40:16 base percentage either.

1:40:17 >> Yeah. Yeah.

1:40:21 For a guy who, as you said, only two Ks

1:40:23 is always putting the ball in play. This

1:40:25 is no different. But right to Jackson

1:40:26 Olsson, flips it between the legs. TRICK

1:40:29 PLAY, double play, and benefits from a

1:40:33 slip by TJ Reeves trying to get back to

1:40:35 that first base bag. Makes the trick

1:40:37 play even easier for Jackson Olson. HE'S

1:40:40 HAVING FUN WITH ZIGGY OVER THERE AT

1:40:42 FIRST BASE, SAYING HE SHOULD HAVE TRIED

1:40:44 TO CATCH IT BEHIND HIS BACK and then

1:40:46 flip it through the legs.

1:40:49 And Swan is going to need some new

1:40:51 lumber. Well struck just to the wrong

1:40:53 place

1:40:57 as Chase Auff is behind 01. Singled and

1:41:00 scored the inning winning run in the

1:41:01 second.

1:41:09 Austin Drury trying to make it two

1:41:10 straight scoreless frames

1:41:13 after the party animals with walk-off

1:41:16 two out singles in the first and second.

1:41:21 Clutch offense to go with their

1:41:22 fantastic defense so far tonight.

1:41:29 A cup second deck.

1:41:33 No catch.

1:41:36 Another

1:41:40 battle between Sunshine State kids. A

1:41:42 cuff out of St. Pete

1:41:49 and struck well but straight to Alexi

1:41:51 who will tip it up and catch it in the

1:41:53 straw hat as Austin Drury faces the

1:41:56 minimum for the first time tonight.

1:42:00 And it's two straight scoreless innings

1:42:02 for Drury. Still a two-nil lead for the

1:42:05 Party Animals. Four innings in the books

1:42:07 here on True TV.

1:42:27 Heat.

1:42:36 Heat.

1:43:05 Oh, it's fun watching Nate tell you

1:43:07 boogie on down. And it's just us,

1:43:09 YouTube.

1:43:29 I took three benadryil last night and

1:43:32 that thing found me.

1:43:34 >> I saw your Tylenol bottle earlier today.

1:43:36 >> That you had to switch from benadryil to

1:43:38 Tylenol.

1:43:39 I I have to call the hatman cute. That

1:43:43 That's exactly what found me.

1:43:46 >> 3:06 a.m.

1:43:47 >> There is nothing behind those eyes.

1:43:48 >> Well, I think that's you looking at the

1:43:50 hatman. You know

1:43:53 >> at the Aloft Battery Atlanta.

1:43:55 >> Yeah, I got

1:43:56 >> room 219. King Bed.

1:43:58 >> Yeah. Go knock. Ding-dong ditch him.

1:44:00 >> In came the hatman.

1:44:03 >> Right back up the shoot. Ryan Cox has

1:44:05 himself a single to lead off the away

1:44:08 half of the pit.

1:44:11 And as you know, calling him cute

1:44:13 appeases his cravings.

1:44:14 >> Boy, I thought he was robbed of the top

1:44:16 spot there.

1:44:18 >> It's Tanner, man. He cried earlier.

1:44:21 >> Yeah, that was really that was touching.

1:44:23 >> That's what makes him so cute. It's

1:44:25 because he has a tender side.

1:44:26 >> Yes.

1:44:27 >> Tanner tender Thomas.

1:44:28 >> He tried to rebrand. It didn't work.

1:44:30 >> Forget that. It didn't work.

1:44:31 >> Right. They kept putting the chicken in

1:44:32 between him.

1:44:33 >> Yeah. Tanner chicken. That was a weird

1:44:35 little two months right there.

1:44:37 >> Yeah. I think it's how I refer to him

1:44:39 every single time.

1:44:42 Bill Loy big league foul ball makes it

1:44:45 to the third deck but not caught.

1:44:49 >> Not seeing a lot of gloves out there

1:44:50 tonight. Vico,

1:44:52 >> it's cooler to catch foul balls without

1:44:54 them.

1:44:54 >> Ah, it's cooler to be prepared.

1:45:04 >> Nothing wrong with bringing your glove

1:45:06 to a banana ball game. In fact,

1:45:07 >> that's great, man. I love that. You

1:45:09 know, 4 million people on a wait list

1:45:11 just trying to get in here. The people

1:45:12 that they get their shot, they bring

1:45:14 their glove, they catch a foul ball.

1:45:15 >> Right. I encourage it.

1:45:16 >> Top notch. I mean, we had a dad catch a

1:45:18 foul ball holding his kid here last

1:45:20 year. We got some highlights.

1:45:23 >> Deep out to left from Bill and Tanner

1:45:26 Thomas for the first out as Bryce Gafi

1:45:30 pinch running for the second time

1:45:31 tonight as the Bananas designated

1:45:33 runner. He could enter one time every

1:45:35 trip through the order. Deaks towards

1:45:37 second, retreats back to first.

1:45:43 How neat is this too, man? The the Danny

1:45:46 Hosley Savannah Banana as the golden

1:45:50 batter. Takes you a second to get used

1:45:52 to,

1:45:54 >> but it's that culmination that we talked

1:45:56 about with Tanner of the Party Animals

1:45:58 getting their due today. And in the

1:46:00 first threeame MLB series in Banana

1:46:03 Ball's history, Party Animals run the

1:46:05 show all three nights.

1:46:12 Hosley has himself a single.

1:46:16 Gzafi goes station to station

1:46:19 and the fans get no donuts for now. And

1:46:22 >> and very encouraging to see from Danny

1:46:24 Dittle. Had a hit in the ninth inning

1:46:26 last Saturday in College Station. Now

1:46:29 comes away with the knock in

1:46:30 back-to-back contest for the Nanners.

1:46:33 And for the first time tonight, the

1:46:35 Bananas have multiple fellows aboard the

1:46:37 bases.

1:46:39 And it's going to be a specialty walk up

1:46:41 from Jackson Olsen.

1:46:44 >> Is this one Miley Cyrus or is this

1:46:46 Hannah Montana?

1:46:49 >> You are asking the wrong person.

1:46:50 >> This is Miley. Oh,

1:46:51 >> I think this is Miley.

1:46:52 >> You're asking the right person.

1:46:56 >> Just had to turn to your left in the

1:46:58 booth instead of to your right.

1:46:59 >> Yeah. I only recently learned they're

1:47:01 one and the same.

1:47:05 >> I thought they're paying two actresses

1:47:07 out of town this whole time. No way.

1:47:08 >> No, I'm telling you, it's a blonde wig.

1:47:14 >> It's kind of the whole theme of the

1:47:16 show, isn't it?

1:47:17 >> That was like a twins kind of scenario.

1:47:19 >> I thought it was more of a documentary,

1:47:21 honestly.

1:47:23 >> You know, I always wondered as a kid if

1:47:25 it was real or not.

1:47:26 >> A biopic. Yeah, I did question it cuz

1:47:28 like Billy Ray Cyrus, that's a real

1:47:30 human being. Miley Cyrus, she's a real

1:47:32 human being.

1:47:33 >> That was a little tricky for my child

1:47:34 brain.

1:47:35 >> But I do think in the show, their last

1:47:37 names differ,

1:47:38 >> right?

1:47:40 >> But, you know, there was something that

1:47:41 just wasn't quite adding up. Didn't

1:47:43 quite feel like reality.

1:47:46 >> That's the magic of Disney,

1:47:48 >> our dear friends. Jackson Olsen bounding

1:47:51 ball. Faber to second for ONE WITH THE

1:47:54 BOUNCE OVER TO FIRST. A DOUBLE TRICK

1:47:56 PLAY ON THE DOUBLE PLAY AND IT'S FIVE

1:47:58 SCORELESS FOR DELENO.

1:47:59 >> I HAVE SAID IT MULTIPLE times tonight

1:48:01 and I believe it. I WILL PREACH IT. I am

1:48:03 I am I am BLOWN AWAY WITH THE PARTY

1:48:06 animals efficiency tonight. They're

1:48:08 clicking on all cylinders. THIS IS AS

1:48:10 GOOD AS THEY HAVE looked in 2026. They

1:48:13 still lead it two to zero.

1:48:20 Well, we all know that Georgia

1:48:23 and it may not be after tonight.

1:48:26 Gentlemen, this competition is called

1:48:28 eat the peach. When I say go, all you

1:48:32 have to do is eat as much of those

1:48:34 peaches as possible, as quickly as

1:48:38 possible. Are you ready?

1:48:41 >> Set. Go.

1:48:45 Oh, they are absolutely ravenous.

1:48:48 OH, THE GLASSES HAVE COME OFF.

1:48:54 >> There's not much left. Five, four,

1:48:58 three, two, one. Stop. Stop. Stop.

1:49:04 All right, that was really gross. That

1:49:05 was really gross. Uh, gentlemen, I think

1:49:08 I neglected to tell you this. We're

1:49:10 actually not judging who ate the peach

1:49:13 the fastest.

1:49:15 Atlanta is deciding who ate the peach

1:49:19 better thanks to a slow motion replay.

1:49:36 >> You are watching Banana Ball on True TV

1:49:39 presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

1:49:42 Those peaches could have been a part of

1:49:45 a delicious smoothie, but instead just

1:49:48 smashed to smitherines in those fella's

1:49:50 mouths.

1:49:51 >> I get my peaches down in Georgia.

1:49:54 >> Jay Beeps told me that once.

1:49:56 >> Yeah, that's lit.

1:50:00 >> It is the best state to get your

1:50:01 peaches.

1:50:04 >> Atlanta, man. What a scene.

1:50:07 >> Over 41,000 fans here in the home of the

1:50:10 Atlanta Braves. It's the first ever

1:50:13 three-game set for Banana Ball in a big

1:50:16 league stadium. It's the first time that

1:50:17 the Party Animals have had a headlining

1:50:20 series against the Savannah Bananas.

1:50:22 Animals will be the home team all three

1:50:24 games and so far they are playing like

1:50:27 it as you look at the numbers for Austin

1:50:28 Drury. Only two runs on the night, so

1:50:31 the graphic lies to you a bit, but those

1:50:34 were across his first two innings. Since

1:50:36 then, two scoreless afterwards.

1:50:44 and so far

1:50:46 credited with three and a third innings

1:50:48 because on the two walk-offs he's had

1:50:50 two outs. And you got to give credit to

1:50:52 the party animals. All three of Drury's

1:50:54 starts, they've scored against him in

1:50:56 the first inning as here in the fifth,

1:50:59 Michael Ballard will roll this one over

1:51:00 to Kyle Jackson. a between the legs

1:51:02 transition and now the bananas back out

1:51:05 in top when it comes to the trick play

1:51:07 lead tonight now seven to six in favor

1:51:10 of Savannah.

1:51:11 >> Yeah, I mean it it's a far cry from the

1:51:14 final inning, but if we dropped dead

1:51:16 right now, the Bananas, the visiting

1:51:17 team who have the leading trick plays,

1:51:20 they would receive a point for winning

1:51:22 the equalizer. That's going to be very

1:51:23 important in a game that's so tightnit.

1:51:25 Yeah, and especially because you see the

1:51:27 Bananas having a really hard time

1:51:28 getting offense together against Garrett

1:51:30 Deleno right now. Just being able to

1:51:32 claim a point thanks to your trick plays

1:51:34 would really go a long way for them

1:51:36 right now.

1:51:38 >> That equalizer brand new as a rule in

1:51:40 2026. So, the visiting team has more

1:51:43 trick plays after the final going into

1:51:46 the final inning I should say. They're

1:51:47 awarded a point.

1:51:49 Tanner Thomas ahead three balls in a

1:51:51 strike. Reached on a trick play missed

1:51:53 his first time which led to that

1:51:55 walk-off in the second inning

1:51:58 >> and sends this a mile high out to left.

1:52:01 Robert Anthony Cruz BACKFLIP CATCH. YOU

1:52:05 BETCHA.

1:52:11 >> I mean it's just UNBELIEVABLE WHAT HE IS

1:52:13 ABLE TO DO IN LEFT FIELD. A MILE HIGH

1:52:16 POP IN THE AIR. NO PROBLEM for Rack as

1:52:19 now we go to Gillum

1:52:20 >> baseball team and the number one draft

1:52:23 pick in the women's professional

1:52:25 baseball league, Kelsey Wimble.

1:52:46 Big cheer from the full capacity crowd

1:52:48 in Truis Park. Kelsey Whitmore has been

1:52:51 perfect. Nine batters face this year,

1:52:53 nine retired, three of them via the

1:52:55 strikeout. She's just got a lot of

1:52:57 confidence right now for this Savannah

1:52:59 Bananas team. Pretty cool that she is

1:53:01 still flawless coming into May. And the

1:53:05 funny thing is, I mean, she spent the

1:53:06 last 2 months with the Bananas in the

1:53:08 2025 tour, and they brought on so many

1:53:11 rookie pitchers. They weren't just going

1:53:14 to Kyle Luig and Danny Hosley and Noah

1:53:16 Nisnic for pitching advice. They were

1:53:18 asking tips from Kelsey Whitmore as

1:53:21 well. And she was happy to try and

1:53:23 impart all of the knowledge that she was

1:53:25 able to gain over those last two months.

1:53:28 And now you've clearly seen how much the

1:53:31 experience has helped her in her second

1:53:33 campaign.

1:53:35 >> Yeah, Kelsey, this is her 13th year on

1:53:38 the United States women's national

1:53:39 baseball team.

1:53:42 >> One of the best women baseball players

1:53:44 in the world.

1:53:44 >> She will face

1:53:46 a player who just chugged a beer.

1:53:48 >> The best beer chugger in Banana Ball.

1:53:50 >> Correct. A real life beer. By the way,

1:53:53 people ask all the time, is that a

1:53:55 >> is that a fake beer?

1:53:57 >> O tools. Odels.

1:53:59 >> It's legit.

1:54:00 >> It's a real beer.

1:54:01 >> Dustin Baba capitalized on that trick

1:54:03 play missed we just talked about back in

1:54:05 the second inning. He had the walk-off

1:54:07 single

1:54:09 >> that set the score to what it is right

1:54:11 now. That was a good looking pitch. Bel

1:54:12 Roy called it a strike. Vincent Chapman,

1:54:14 the man whose opinion matters, called it

1:54:16 a ball.

1:54:20 >> Wow.

1:54:20 >> Yeah, Bab still well out in front.

1:54:22 >> Yeah.

1:54:26 >> Changing speeds, too. Whitmore's ability

1:54:28 to do such but makes her so effective.

1:54:34 >> You got to be careful.

1:54:36 Down to your final strike against Kelsey

1:54:38 Whitmore. Babber able to fight it off,

1:54:40 but this ball very playable. Alex Eagler

1:54:43 behind the back with a hop and a skip. A

1:54:45 trick play. And it's 10 batters based,

1:54:48 10 retired this year for Kelsey

1:54:50 Whitmore. And three trick plays in the

1:54:52 inning for the Savannah Bananas, making

1:54:54 it much easier for them to try and earn

1:54:56 the equalizer point. Still two animals.

1:55:10 5 11 Heat.

1:55:29 Heat.

1:55:55 And now it's just us, YouTube. And I say

1:55:59 that not 4 seconds before we're

1:56:01 returning from a commercial break like I

1:56:03 did the last time. And in nine, eight,

1:56:07 seven, and go.

1:56:11 >> Go on, PICO. SAY IT. GET THE THOUGHT IN

1:56:13 NOW. SAY IT. HURRY.

1:56:20 Welcome back to Banana Ball live on True

1:56:22 TV. It's been a fantastic trick play

1:56:24 battle so far tonight with the equalizer

1:56:27 point hanging in the balance. Currently,

1:56:29 the Savannah Bananas, they have gone

1:56:31 eight straight games without earning the

1:56:33 equalizer point as the away team, which

1:56:36 means they have not had more trick plays

1:56:37 than the opponent going into the final

1:56:40 since the first time they they were the

1:56:42 away team this year all the way back in

1:56:44 early March against the firefighters.

1:56:45 >> Yeah, March the 8th to be exact. So, the

1:56:48 Bananas trying to continue to put that

1:56:50 pressure on the boys in black and pink,

1:56:52 but they are not changing their game

1:56:54 plan right now. puts Garrett Deleno out

1:56:56 for a sixth inning of work. And it's

1:56:58 really easy to keep sending him out

1:56:59 there considering he's thrown 16 pitches

1:57:02 across his last two innings for the

1:57:04 Animals.

1:57:05 >> Speaking of game plan, last season it

1:57:07 was consistent. Coaches in Banana would

1:57:09 give you a pitching plan. Hey, we'll

1:57:10 likely throw Deleno four innings. Mike

1:57:13 Vasis was clear. As long as Deleno is

1:57:16 comfortable and looks good, he can stay

1:57:18 out there as as long as the team needs

1:57:20 him.

1:57:21 >> And you saw that guy in the tour

1:57:22 championship. He was going into the

1:57:23 eighth inning for the boys in black and

1:57:25 pink. He was absolutely munching

1:57:27 >> and I don't know if he's ramped up for

1:57:28 that yet. I'm not sure if his arm is

1:57:30 ready for eight innings tonight.

1:57:31 >> It's a long season,

1:57:32 >> but if you can get him through six, I

1:57:34 he'll take that any day of the week.

1:57:36 >> Yeah, Deleno hunting a quality start.

1:57:39 Pretty rare you see that in Banana Ball.

1:57:41 That's six innings or more with three

1:57:43 runs or less allowed. So far, it's been

1:57:45 five shut out frames

1:57:49 >> as Max Young Goldberg just barely gets a

1:57:51 piece of it.

1:57:58 MJG holding down the 10 hole. Worked the

1:58:00 ball for Sprint his first time. The only

1:58:03 rookie in the Bananas lineup.

1:58:06 Their second round draft pick.

1:58:09 Did he check his swing down to the third

1:58:11 base umpire Chad Little? He says that

1:58:14 MJG able to hold up. We got I got to get

1:58:18 Chad Little's workout plan.

1:58:22 This one sprayed the opposite way past

1:58:25 John Howard Bobo. It'll be extra bases

1:58:28 for Max Young Goldberg who cruises into

1:58:31 second with a double. Yeah, the batting

1:58:33 average not particularly high for MJG.

1:58:35 Just a 227 mark entering tonight, but

1:58:38 over 50% of his hits this season have

1:58:41 gone for extra bases. There's a lot of

1:58:44 pop in that bat. And this is what Maxon

1:58:46 Goldberg's really good at doing. Working

1:58:49 deep counts against pitchers and then

1:58:51 able to do some damage. Second opposite

1:58:54 field hit this year for Goldberg.

1:58:57 This is where the rubber meets the road

1:58:58 for Garrett Deleno as the lineup flips

1:59:00 for the third time. Now

1:59:03 >> soft contact out to right center.

1:59:06 Skull's got an absolute howitzer for a

1:59:08 right arm. MJG doesn't even deep towards

1:59:11 third.

1:59:13 So, an unproductive first out for the

1:59:15 Bananas there.

1:59:17 >> MJG

1:59:18 is the fourth Nano they've had in

1:59:21 scoring position tonight. They've

1:59:22 brought nobody home.

1:59:23 >> Yep. You You've got Max Young Goldberg,

1:59:25 the 10 hole doing his job as that second

1:59:27 lead off. You just retired a guy hitting

1:59:29 373. Now you face 308 in Alexi. Dr.

1:59:33 Meadows hitting 413.

1:59:36 Sixth inning of work for Garrett Deleno.

1:59:38 Does he have it this deep into the game?

1:59:41 strikeout and a pop out so far tonight

1:59:43 for Alexiatis.

1:59:46 >> Well, the Bananas have kind of gotten in

1:59:48 their heads in a way. They press when

1:59:50 guys are in scoring position. They are

1:59:52 batting 313 with guys in scoring

1:59:55 position overall this year, but since

1:59:57 the start of April, it's just a 167 mark

2:00:01 for this squad. Yeah, that's not going

2:00:03 to cut it.

2:00:05 Dangerous pitch coming to a dangerous

2:00:07 man. 200 to Super Reese.

2:00:14 Chopper. Easy work for Bloomer who

2:00:16 bobbles it going between the legs but

2:00:18 recovers for the out.

2:00:20 >> Official scoring decision, Josh.

2:00:22 >> Don't think that's a trick play.

2:00:25 You don't see fluidity from Bryson

2:00:27 Bloomer as he's going between the legs.

2:00:29 You see it kick off the leg. Just has to

2:00:31 pick up, make sure he's getting the sh

2:00:33 out. Just can't classify that as a trick

2:00:36 play. Not something you would want to

2:00:37 see in a highlight reel.

2:00:38 >> Yep.

2:00:41 So it is still nine to six. The banana's

2:00:44 ahead in trick plays.

2:00:47 >> It's pretty clear once the trick play

2:00:48 attempt is interrupted at that point it

2:00:51 resets. Now if he recollects goes

2:00:53 between the legs again correct

2:00:54 >> we restart but he didn't do so.

2:00:58 >> Dr. Meadows trying to come through in

2:01:00 the clutch.

2:01:06 Young Goldberg

2:01:08 has been on second with a leadoff

2:01:10 double. Fly out and a ground out to

2:01:13 follow.

2:01:15 And now Meadows out of Vid Idelia,

2:01:17 Georgia. Grew up a diehard Braves fan.

2:01:22 Trying to play the hero, but Bloomer

2:01:24 stands in his way once again. And

2:01:26 Garrett Deleno fantastic through six

2:01:28 shutout innings.

2:01:30 >> That may be the game for Deleno. And

2:01:32 what a game it was.

2:01:35 Six incredible innings and zero runs on

2:01:38 the board for the Savannah Bananas.

2:01:39 Party Animals leading it two points to

2:01:41 zero.

2:01:52 is here on the third base. I'm going to

2:01:54 represent everyone here on third base.

2:01:57 Everyone out in left field, THE BEST IN

2:01:59 CLASS OF ATLANTA, GEORGIA.

2:02:03 >> YEAH.

2:02:05 YEAH. We'll see about that. Professor,

2:02:07 this is a competition side versus side

2:02:11 where you, the fans, have to finish each

2:02:14 song. ARE YOU GUYS READY?

2:02:23 Oh gosh.

2:02:28 >> They don't have

2:02:30 >> Here we go.

2:02:31 >> They had the wrong amount of

2:02:47 Wow. Atlanta, you sound amazing. But

2:02:50 this first round goes to

2:02:53 THIRD BASE AND LEFT FIELD.

2:03:14 ATTACK.

2:03:24 Heck of a battle on our hands here in

2:03:26 Truis Park. The party animals lead two

2:03:29 nothing over the Bananas. Five and a

2:03:31 half innings in the books. And we've got

2:03:33 a microphone on the new man on the mound

2:03:36 for the Nanners, Jacob Bazella. Welcome

2:03:38 to the show, my friend.

2:03:39 >> How's it going, fellas?

2:03:41 >> Couldn't be any better.

2:03:44 You've got yourself Bryson Bloomer.

2:03:51 >> You're You're having a fantastic rookie

2:03:53 campaign. What's the plan of attack

2:03:54 here?

2:03:55 >> Throw a lot of strength.

2:03:57 >> I like it. I don't.

2:04:03 >> Oh, you don't like that?

2:04:05 >> It's a good start for you, Jake. What

2:04:06 are you going with on the O2?

2:04:08 >> Looks like we got another one.

2:04:14 >> Oh, hung it, baby. Come on, KJ.

2:04:17 >> Yes, sir. That a boy.

2:04:19 >> Kyle Jackson's got your back,

2:04:21 >> baby. Yeah, that's not uh not where I

2:04:24 wanted it right there.

2:04:30 >> What's it like being in the middle of

2:04:31 over 40,000 fans here in Atlanta?

2:04:33 >> Oh, it's insane, man. Can you hear them?

2:04:36 >> Yeah, they're blowing my eardrums out

2:04:38 right now.

2:04:39 >> Yeah.

2:04:40 >> I don't know about you.

2:04:42 >> Yeah, I can't I can't hear anything

2:04:44 right now.

2:04:44 >> Perfect.

2:04:49 >> Yeah.

2:04:49 >> Oh my gosh, you are dialed.

2:04:53 >> Five straight strikes. The O2.

2:05:00 >> Oh man. Were you thinking about the

2:05:01 immaculate inning? I mean, obviously

2:05:03 can't happen when you get a ground out,

2:05:04 but at least nothing but strikes.

2:05:08 >> Would have been nice.

2:05:09 >> Would have been nice.

2:05:12 >> Oh, aiming it.

2:05:17 What does Bill have here on a 22 for

2:05:19 you?

2:05:22 >> Looks like another heater, man.

2:05:24 >> We love heaters.

2:05:26 >> Me, too. Way to execute.

2:05:31 You know, Jake, that kind of sets up

2:05:32 this beautiful note. You've got a

2:05:34 strikeout rate at nearly 25% this

2:05:37 season. You're passing all the tests

2:05:40 with flying colors as a rookie. And not

2:05:42 only that, I mean, you've got some

2:05:43 incredible dance moves when you're on

2:05:45 the pitcher mat. How do you balance it

2:05:47 all when you're going into these games?

2:05:50 >> Nice.

2:05:52 >> Take a deep breath every time. I mean, I

2:05:55 I enjoy dancing. I enjoy getting a

2:05:57 little silly.

2:06:01 No. Come on.

2:06:07 >> Two coming to Reese Hampton. Do you get

2:06:09 silly here?

2:06:10 >> I hope.

2:06:14 There we go.

2:06:14 >> Yeah, I was kind of thinking you'd be

2:06:16 all business on the 2, but some could

2:06:19 say that was silly. It's subjective.

2:06:25 I

2:06:27 can't do a walk here.

2:06:29 >> Now, got to be back to a fast ball in

2:06:31 the zone, right?

2:06:32 >> Uh, you would think.

2:06:34 >> Ah,

2:06:40 yeah.

2:06:41 >> Wow.

2:06:42 Not at all a fast ball, but it was in

2:06:44 the zone.

2:06:47 >> Payoff pitch.

2:06:48 >> Here we go. Another

2:06:53 >> look out Reese Hampton.

2:06:56 >> I can't believe that didn't hit him.

2:06:58 >> That was impressive evasive maneuvers.

2:07:00 >> It's no bueno for me.

2:07:02 >> As Reese Lightning content with one base

2:07:04 on the sprint.

2:07:06 It's the first ball for sprint allowed

2:07:08 by either team so far tonight.

2:07:12 >> Oh, I had him. I think if I throw that

2:07:14 in the zone.

2:07:14 >> Forgot about MJG. That's right. First

2:07:17 ball force sprint allowed by your

2:07:18 bananas.

2:07:23 Here we go. Cool.

2:07:31 As a rookie in the sport, does it feel

2:07:33 different facing guys like Skull? This

2:07:35 is his sixth year here.

2:07:37 >> Oh, I didn't think about that. No, I

2:07:39 mean,

2:07:42 >> just something to chew on.

2:07:47 Hon got a GREAT JOB. PERFECT THROW.

2:07:50 >> BILL, I LOVE YOU, MAN. OH,

2:07:53 >> I was having some issues right there at

2:07:55 the end, but Bill picked me up, man.

2:07:57 >> Bill picked me up, man. I love it.

2:07:59 >> Thanks so much for joining us, Jake.

2:08:01 >> Hey, thank you guys. I appreciate you.

2:08:03 >> Thanks, man.

2:08:04 >> Great work, Jake.

2:08:07 >> We say goodbye to Jacob Bazella and we

2:08:09 say bye to you for now. Banana ball.

2:08:11 Right back after this.

2:08:27 We thank you for your service and

2:08:29 commitment to our great country,

2:08:34 TO OUR POLICE OFFICERS,

2:08:39 to our firefighters,

2:08:44 to our nurses,

2:08:49 to our EMS workers,

2:08:52 to our dispatchers,

2:08:56 and to our school teachers.

2:09:03 The party animals say

2:09:07 thank you.

2:09:16 and YouTube. It's just us.

2:09:18 >> Hey,

2:09:20 >> little lost time for another 10 seconds.

2:09:35 Beautiful

2:09:44 night here in Atlanta, Georgia. 66°

2:09:48 as the sun sets on Truis Park. The party

2:09:51 animals cruising through six innings, a

2:09:55 two nothing lead. They won the first at

2:09:56 second frame. Since then,

2:10:00 it has been four straight scoreless

2:10:01 innings as Jake Leios is first out of

2:10:04 the pen for the party animals.

2:10:06 >> It's tier two, tier three banana ball

2:10:09 knowledge and the way to see the game,

2:10:10 but with the equalizer point

2:10:13 considering the Banas are up by four

2:10:15 right now. They're the visiting team in

2:10:16 that category. They they've got

2:10:18 effectively an extra point in their back

2:10:19 pocket.

2:10:20 >> It's like a phantom point.

2:10:21 >> Yep.

2:10:22 It's it's easy to see this game for the

2:10:24 deep fans, the true fans of the sport as

2:10:26 a two to one ball game considering that

2:10:28 equalizer belongs to the Bananas right

2:10:31 now.

2:10:32 >> Right across these next two innings,

2:10:35 party animals need to out trick play the

2:10:37 Bananas by four to deny the Nanners that

2:10:40 equalizer point.

2:10:45 Big swing and a miss from Robert Anthony

2:10:47 Cruz. It's four, five, and six due to

2:10:49 swing it here for the Nanners. Raka fly

2:10:51 out his first time and then a single in

2:10:53 the fourth

2:10:58 and just barely gets a piece of that.

2:11:04 There's a huge moment too for Jake Lee

2:11:06 Alios who is maybe the most entertaining

2:11:10 player in all of Banana Balls. Cosg

2:11:12 Gro's gone down momentarily. Mike Vasis

2:11:15 the head coach.

2:11:17 >> Casey Carlson the team trainer will

2:11:18 check on him.

2:11:21 got that right off the right thigh. That

2:11:23 is

2:11:24 >> not comfortable.

2:11:27 >> Free tattoo.

2:11:31 >> The rare spots

2:11:33 >> that Cosbro did not have armor on.

2:11:38 >> That is a tough job being a catcher.

2:11:40 >> And now for Leios, you're knee deep in a

2:11:42 3-2 count and you had to take a step off

2:11:44 the mound for a little bit and breathe

2:11:46 and think about it even more. and he

2:11:49 loses Robert Anthony Cruz.

2:11:52 >> Great ball for sprint defense by the

2:11:55 party animals. Rack with a big turn and

2:11:57 then retreats back to first.

2:12:01 He's boarded for the second time

2:12:02 tonight.

2:12:03 >> Yep. Second ball for sprint the animals

2:12:06 have delivered tonight. Garrett Deleno

2:12:09 in this ball game facing 23 batters. One

2:12:12 ball four sprint on his evening.

2:12:14 >> And Rack is the seventh base runner for

2:12:16 the Bananas. Reminder they have not

2:12:18 brought any home.

2:12:21 KJ a double his first time.

2:12:24 Smashed a ball a mile high to the track

2:12:26 and right his last trip to the dish.

2:12:29 >> Specialty dance on the way here too in

2:12:31 the middle of the inning.

2:12:33 >> Only in banana ball and Lealios

2:12:37 one of the best.

2:12:40 >> We'll call this a 722 second pitch to

2:12:43 the second batter in the seventh inning.

2:12:48 Oh, little Alexi in there.

2:12:52 >> Hit him with the super. That's crazy.

2:12:55 >> Yeah, that's great right there.

2:12:57 >> Babuff and Hampton on point as the

2:12:59 Alios's backup dancers.

2:13:03 >> And this one floated out to shallow

2:13:06 right. It's going to fall in front of

2:13:07 John Howard Bo.

2:13:11 So, a sprint and a blue base hit. Two

2:13:14 men on with no outs here in the seventh

2:13:16 for the Bananas.

2:13:17 >> Yeah, certainly not the start that Jake

2:13:19 Leios was looking for here against the

2:13:21 Bananas, especially considering he's had

2:13:23 a lot of success against this team since

2:13:26 the start of 2024. A 5.40 earn run

2:13:30 average in 36 and 2/3 innings pitch.

2:13:32 When you consider the tour average, earn

2:13:34 run average is at 6.81.

2:13:37 Really goes to show you he has been

2:13:39 above league average when facing the

2:13:41 guys in yellow.

2:13:42 >> Yep. had a scoreless inning with a

2:13:44 strikeout against the Bananas in Yankee

2:13:45 Stadium two weekends ago.

2:13:47 >> As an entertainment player, no less. I

2:13:49 mean, these guys

2:13:53 >> a lot of time player first, but they're

2:13:56 so in tune with the entertainment in

2:13:59 this sport and making baseball fun.

2:14:01 Speaking of

2:14:04 >> the

2:14:06 Yeah,

2:14:07 >> right on point. That was beautiful.

2:14:11 Great minds think alike.

2:14:13 >> 3-1 count on Ryan Cox.

2:14:15 >> Five of them coaching first base.

2:14:17 >> It's the perfect amount.

2:14:19 >> No such thing as too many cooks in the

2:14:21 kitchen when it comes to coaching the

2:14:22 bases.

2:14:23 >> Perfect amount. You draw the line. It's

2:14:25 sixman Adams.

2:14:25 >> Six is way too many.

2:14:27 >> Yeah,

2:14:27 >> that's just chaos.

2:14:31 >> Big payoff pitch coming to Ryan Cox. He

2:14:34 goes down swinging. Jake Leios. Huge

2:14:37 strikeout.

2:14:39 buries the pitch at the bottom of the

2:14:41 zone there against Ryan Cotch. He

2:14:43 expands his zone and his chase rate has

2:14:46 been unbelievably low this season. So

2:14:48 that again, you see where the Bananas

2:14:51 are pressing when guys are in scoring

2:14:53 position and it comes from one of their

2:14:55 most disciplined bats. And then Leios

2:14:58 gets to do his funky dance,

2:15:01 Bill Loy straightaway center. Reese

2:15:03 Hampton crowd number two

2:15:07 and hits his cut off man with a laser

2:15:09 beam.

2:15:12 So Loy retired

2:15:16 and a really nice bounce back from

2:15:17 Leios. It was two on with nobody out.

2:15:21 Strike out and fly out. And now Danny

2:15:23 Hosley the last hope for the bananas

2:15:26 >> here in the top of the seventh.

2:15:28 >> Donut batter. He strikes out. Free

2:15:31 donuts here in Truest Park.

2:15:33 >> Courtesy of our friends over at Dunkin

2:15:35 Donuts,

2:15:37 >> known as Duncan these days.

2:15:39 >> How fickle those kids in yellow jerseys

2:15:41 are here at the venue.

2:15:44 >> Yeah, they they flip real quick.

2:15:46 >> I see a kid wearing a Danny Hosley

2:15:47 jersey, yelling

2:15:50 do not out the turntables.

2:15:55 >> Perfectly placed fast ball on the

2:15:57 outside corner. Leio's a converted

2:16:00 catcher and it's a high spin rate fast

2:16:03 ball high 80s he can touch 90 126 curve

2:16:06 a change up and a cutter

2:16:09 and he just misses his spot off the

2:16:11 outside corner

2:16:12 >> that's a great call from Vincent Chapman

2:16:13 too

2:16:15 >> ball four here scores the first run of

2:16:16 the game for the bananas

2:16:21 >> there it is will score easily from

2:16:24 second KJ thinking about trying to score

2:16:26 from first Party Animals get it to their

2:16:29 seventh and final fielder. Bobo was the

2:16:32 last who needed to touch the ball before

2:16:33 it was live. And a good job keeping the

2:16:36 speedy KJ from scoring. First run Sully

2:16:39 tonight for the Bananas as well. Not a

2:16:42 lot to celebrate offensively. Finally,

2:16:44 they get their due in the seven.

2:16:56 And you're not seeing an angle on the

2:16:59 field of this run celebration because

2:17:01 it's being filmed on an iPhone.

2:17:03 Zack Guth

2:17:06 in charge tonight of capturing the big

2:17:10 moments of our ball game.

2:17:12 What a unique creative way to display

2:17:14 the talent of the bananas.

2:17:16 >> Filming that the oldfashioned way.

2:17:19 >> How pretty is that?

2:17:19 >> Yeah. What a sunset

2:17:21 >> in the big peach.

2:17:26 Pretty apppropo the coloring on that.

2:17:30 Well, the Alio is certainly not out of

2:17:32 the woods yet. One run across.

2:17:34 The world's tallest hitter.

2:17:43 >> Entertainment

2:17:44 on entertainment.

2:17:47 This is what they call out of the frying

2:17:49 pan and into the fire.

2:17:52 The tallest athlete in the known

2:17:54 universe. The pride of Elville, Georgia.

2:17:57 Another guy who grew up a diehard Braves

2:17:59 fan. Swinging it in a huge spot. Runners

2:18:04 on the corners with two outs here in the

2:18:06 seventh inning. And the last time he

2:18:07 faced off against the Party Animals, saw

2:18:10 Dalton Pon up at the plate and was able

2:18:12 to get his first hit of the year against

2:18:14 the right-hander trying to go two for

2:18:17 two in his last two abs against the

2:18:19 Animals as THIS ONE IS FLOATED DOWN TO

2:18:21 RIGHT FIELD AND CHEST FOUL according to

2:18:24 Jay Creines.

2:18:29 >> That would have best of the house.

2:18:30 >> This place into a frenzy.

2:18:35 Oh,

2:18:38 what an effort from Bobo, too. Great

2:18:40 range.

2:18:43 See the entire outfield shading in

2:18:45 against Stilts.

2:18:48 >> Hater just below the knees.

2:18:50 >> What knees, Bo? What knees?

2:18:56 >> That's a pretty unhitable pitch to even

2:18:57 up the count.

2:19:00 The 2-2

2:19:02 swing and a miss. Nasty movement from

2:19:04 Lealios on the two seam. He strikes out

2:19:08 stilts, but the Bananas scrape across

2:19:10 their first run of the ball game and

2:19:13 have a chance to earn a point for the

2:19:14 first time tonight.

2:19:15 >> Yep, great distinction there. The Party

2:19:17 Animals could even the inning, even win

2:19:19 the inning in the bottom of the seventh.

2:19:21 But for now, we could see a ball game

2:19:23 quickly tied two to two thanks to that

2:19:25 equalizer. Animals two nothing for the

2:19:27 time being.

2:19:30 able

2:19:34 to get up out of your seats on your

2:19:38 feet. I need you to get those light up

2:19:41 wristbands up in the air waving side to

2:19:44 side as we welcome party down to the

2:19:47 field and we all join in together to

2:19:50 sing Don't Stop Believing.

2:19:57 Just a small town girl

2:20:01 living in a holy world

2:20:13 just a city boy

2:20:17 and

2:20:20 you

2:20:21 >> took the midnight

2:20:25 You

2:20:45 sing in a

2:20:49 The smell of life

2:20:53 or smile they can share the night. It

2:20:56 goes on and on and on and on

2:21:03 waiting.

2:21:06 I feel the full

2:21:09 shadow

2:21:11 searching in the night.

2:21:17 Don't stop.

2:21:22 >> Hold on to that

2:21:27 people.

2:21:31 One more time.

2:21:33 Don't stop.

2:21:38 Hold on to that.

2:21:54 I am blown away for the party animals to

2:21:57 have their first opportunity to headline

2:21:59 a show in a Major League Baseball

2:22:01 stadium and against the Savannah

2:22:03 Bananas. They have put on a show

2:22:05 tonight. I I don't know if you

2:22:07 understand what exactly that means. 11

2:22:09 years ago, Jesse Cole, who invented this

2:22:12 sport, who founded the Savannah Bananas,

2:22:14 was sleeping on an air mattress with a

2:22:16 dream of one team, a college summer

2:22:18 baseball team. Then Banana Ball comes

2:22:21 along with the Savannah Bananas who

2:22:23 needed someone to play. Insert formerly

2:22:27 the bad boys of Banana Ball, the party

2:22:29 animals who have become this lovable

2:22:31 brand. They don't have fans, they have

2:22:33 fanatics across the globe. And it has

2:22:37 come to fruition tonight with thousands

2:22:40 of people in pink and in yellow holding

2:22:43 up wristbands together for a moment like

2:22:45 that. When I first got here in 2024,

2:22:49 Jesse sat down in the locker room with a

2:22:51 guy and said, "Hey, maybe six or seven

2:22:52 years from now, the party animals will

2:22:54 be in a spot to headline at MLB Stadium.

2:22:57 Less than 3 years later, here they are."

2:23:00 And it is poetry.

2:23:02 >> And you see a lot of black and pink in

2:23:03 the seats here tonight. You felt the

2:23:05 energy out in the pregame plaza today as

2:23:07 well.

2:23:08 >> I mean, you were spot on, Drake. They

2:23:10 are fanatics, Party Animals fans. There

2:23:13 is no more passionate fan base than the

2:23:16 folks who cheer for the guys in black

2:23:17 and pink.

2:23:18 >> They just they get it. They get it so

2:23:19 well.

2:23:22 >> Beefy part of this Party Animals lineup

2:23:24 here to swing it in the home half of the

2:23:26 seventh. 34 and five. Skull, Reeves, and

2:23:29 Swan with the Party Animals chasing a

2:23:31 run for the first time tonight. Remember

2:23:34 Baza miked up said he was he was losing

2:23:37 it losing control toward the end of the

2:23:38 seventh inning. Make it the end of the

2:23:40 sixth and Bill Loy gunning down his

2:23:44 second bailed him out. Baza 3 0 count on

2:23:46 Jake Skull

2:23:48 >> loses him four straight bad ones to open

2:23:51 up the bottom of the seventh and skull

2:23:53 as we've talked about a couple times

2:23:55 tonight still nursing that sore right

2:23:57 hamstring will be content with 90 feet

2:24:00 on the ball for sprint and give way to

2:24:02 Mark Smith.

2:24:04 See Danny Hosley who started the game as

2:24:07 the Bananas right fielder. He is now in

2:24:08 the bullpen getting loose as if the

2:24:11 Bananas can hold this one lead in the

2:24:14 inning.

2:24:16 >> Looks like Ty Jackson right.

2:24:18 >> Yep. Then we will for all intents of

2:24:21 purposes be tied up with the Bananas

2:24:23 still up four trick plays hunting that

2:24:24 equalizer point

2:24:27 >> and only three defensive outs to go

2:24:29 tonight for the party animals. Five

2:24:30 straight bad ones from Baza.

2:24:32 >> Make it six.

2:24:33 >> Wow.

2:24:35 >> Yeah, he's lost that fast ball.

2:24:36 >> Yep.

2:24:38 >> High80s can touch 92 with the Heat.

2:24:41 Slider, curveball, splitter, knuckle

2:24:43 ball for Brazila,

2:24:50 >> man.

2:24:50 >> Yeah, seven straight balls. And a ball

2:24:52 for sprint here for Reeves would put

2:24:54 runners on the corners.

2:24:59 Reeves does not sprint very often

2:25:01 either.

2:25:03 He does here. Mark Smith rounding

2:25:06 second. In all likelihood, he'll park it

2:25:08 at third base. They'll be on the

2:25:10 corners. And yes, they are. Now, the

2:25:12 party animals are 90 ft away from tying

2:25:14 this seventh inning. Nobody out still.

2:25:18 The meat of the lineup here with your

2:25:20 five hole Jason Swan.

2:25:22 >> Look, this is the first time tonight the

2:25:23 Bananas have had a chance to hold an

2:25:25 inning lead. Entering last weekend, they

2:25:28 were leading the Banana Ball

2:25:29 Championship League in whole percentage

2:25:31 at 78 12% going into this weekend. They

2:25:35 now rank last. That is how much we saw

2:25:37 them struggle in both games against the

2:25:40 Texas Tailgator in Texas.

2:25:42 >> And no one's got a better eye in this

2:25:43 sport than Jason Swan, who's at the

2:25:45 plate. Just a brutal draw from AA who

2:25:47 dating back to the sixth inning has

2:25:49 drawn three ball force sprints, thrown

2:25:51 three straight ball force sprints.

2:25:55 >> You got the call there. break. Wow.

2:25:57 After nine straight balls to open up the

2:25:59 inning. High strike call.

2:26:01 >> Yeah.

2:26:07 >> Big swing and a miss.

2:26:09 >> He's back.

2:26:11 >> Sometimes it only takes one. Yep.

2:26:13 >> But in his infield playing at half

2:26:14 depth. It'll be a judgment call if they

2:26:16 fire home on a grounder.

2:26:20 >> SWING AND A MISS. A rare Jason Swan

2:26:23 strikeout on the bender from Bazela. Oh,

2:26:25 that is a massive first out.

2:26:27 >> Swan entered the contest 63 played

2:26:30 appearances, 10 ball four sprints and

2:26:32 just two strikeouts.

2:26:34 Baza had lost control and then brought

2:26:37 it back against one of the best in the

2:26:39 sport. That's incredibly impressive from

2:26:40 the rookie.

2:26:41 >> And you've seen a frustrating night from

2:26:43 Jason Swan. Broke his bat after lining

2:26:45 into the double play in the fourth

2:26:47 inning. Now striking out here. I mean,

2:26:49 sometimes you can just get in your head

2:26:51 a little too much as a batter. That

2:26:53 appears to be the case right now for

2:26:54 Swany.

2:26:56 >> Chase AUP to Cox. He's firing home. No

2:27:00 chance to get Mark Smith. SLIDES RIGHT

2:27:03 THROUGH THE BAT of AUP. And we are tied

2:27:05 at a run each here in the seven. And

2:27:07 that is the heart of the party animals.

2:27:09 Mark Smith. The more you learn about

2:27:11 him, the more you learn about his story.

2:27:13 He's been the talk of this team the last

2:27:15 two weeks, dating back to his first base

2:27:17 hit in Yankee Stadium out in New York.

2:27:21 And here he is. A hustle play to tie

2:27:23 this seventh. Great stuff from the

2:27:26 designated runner and no out recorded on

2:27:28 the play. They're at first and second

2:27:30 for the Animals. And the fact is, you

2:27:32 keep a guy in scoring position right now

2:27:34 if you're the party animals.

2:27:37 That's what's so brutal. You have the

2:27:39 opportunity to get the second out, get

2:27:41 that lead guy out, and just have a man

2:27:43 at first base. Instead, one out, a man

2:27:45 in scoring position. And Mike Ballard

2:27:48 has just been fantastic lately for the

2:27:50 Animals. runs batted in in each of his

2:27:52 last four games.

2:27:56 02

2:27:57 swing and a miss. Wow. A three pitch

2:27:59 strikeout on three straight breaking

2:28:02 balls from Baza.

2:28:04 Second strike out of the inning. Third

2:28:06 of the outing for the kid out of North

2:28:09 Huntington, PA.

2:28:10 >> Man, and and the Bananas finally had

2:28:12 momentum. Genuinely for the first time

2:28:15 tonight had momentum. And this inning

2:28:17 being tied flips things.

2:28:20 uncompetitive fast ball. The ball in no

2:28:23 strikes.

2:28:25 Now the defending player of the week,

2:28:26 Tanner Thomas

2:28:29 >> reached on a trick play. Missed his

2:28:31 first time. Flew out to left

2:28:34 back in the fifth.

2:28:41 Tanner home runs in two straight games.

2:28:46 This one's not going to leave the yard.

2:28:48 Too much launch angle. Alexiatis and Ty

2:28:50 Jackson converging. Tai makes the catch.

2:28:53 Gazela bends but he does not break.

2:28:56 The seventh inning ties at a run each

2:28:59 and the party animals fend off the

2:29:01 bananas to keep their two nothing lead.

2:29:27 And stop me if you've heard it before

2:29:29 YouTube, but it is just us. Son of a

2:29:32 gun. Chat's been really fun to watch

2:29:34 tonight. Um, uh, Drake, you definitely

2:29:37 did have your mic on when I was caveting

2:29:39 about us not putting innings pitched on

2:29:42 our pitching graphics.

2:29:44 >> Yeah, I saw.

2:29:45 >> And when you're right, you're right.

2:29:48 >> I saw Biff Ba and company commenting on

2:29:50 it. I mean, I am right.

2:29:56 >> Get out.

2:30:01 Been there, man. Been there.

2:30:08 You are watching Banana Ball on True TV

2:30:11 presented by Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

2:30:15 To the eighth inning we go. The Party

2:30:17 Animals

2:30:20 >> lead two points to nothing

2:30:24 and have only allowed one run across the

2:30:27 game.

2:30:30 Drake Pull throwing out party favors to

2:30:32 the fans in the third deck here. The

2:30:34 party favors might be Tylenol.

2:30:36 >> It's Tylenol. And take a look at the

2:30:38 numbers for Drew Gillespie here in his

2:30:40 fourth World Tour. This is his team

2:30:42 leading 12th relief outing of the

2:30:44 season. Gillespie blew his fifth save of

2:30:46 the season in game one last weekend

2:30:48 against the Coconuts. And he has

2:30:50 surrendered multiple hits in five of his

2:30:53 last six appearances. A big reason why

2:30:55 this season has been such a struggle for

2:30:59 the veteran righty

2:31:02 Max Young Goldberg

2:31:04 ball for sprint and a double.

2:31:06 >> Look, it's antithetical to the numbers,

2:31:08 but he loves the moment. He loves the

2:31:11 big moment. He loves playing the

2:31:12 bananas.

2:31:14 A spot where due to that equalizer, the

2:31:16 party animals are are in theory up two

2:31:18 to one. The bananas very likely will win

2:31:20 the equalizer and get that point.

2:31:23 Squib is going to stay fouled.

2:31:25 >> Gillespiey's role is incredibly

2:31:27 important. He knows that.

2:31:30 >> The team's been waiting for him to

2:31:31 deliver in the big moment. This is it.

2:31:34 Another opportunity for the bad, bad man

2:31:36 from Albuquerque.

2:31:38 >> And he's coming off a scoreless inning

2:31:39 with the strikeout. His last appearance

2:31:41 against the Coconuts in Vegas as MJG

2:31:44 spoils the payoff.

2:31:47 >> He told me a few weeks ago in Yankee

2:31:49 Stadium, he said, "I know who I am.

2:31:56 on a couple hops. Ber between the legs.

2:32:00 Another trick play for Derek Ginger.

2:32:02 >> And and a simple statement like that

2:32:06 might sound like a non-factor, but for a

2:32:08 guy who's got an ERA past 10 after a sub

2:32:11 255 ERA last season, sub3 RA last

2:32:15 season, that is

2:32:18 for him to to to deliver that statement.

2:32:20 I know who I am. Just got to deliver

2:32:23 that.

2:32:24 >> Oh yeah. Well, and this talked about it

2:32:25 in New York. It bears repeating across

2:32:28 156 innings of his career coming into

2:32:30 this year. A career 2.25 RA

2:32:33 >> fans.

2:32:34 It's the best RA for anybody who has 150

2:32:37 or more innings thrown in the history of

2:32:38 the sport.

2:32:41 >> And he's a guy who thrives off his

2:32:43 precision on the mound. He doesn't have

2:32:45 overpowering stuff. Low 90s fast ball,

2:32:48 great arsenal. as Over puts a charge

2:32:50 into this out to center, but Hampton

2:32:52 pulls it in.

2:32:53 >> And coming into this year before those

2:32:55 numbers that you saw, he would have been

2:32:56 a unanimous still is a unanimous Mount

2:32:59 Rushmore pitcher in the history of

2:33:01 Banana Ball.

2:33:02 >> No doubt,

2:33:03 >> if not the best arm, one of without

2:33:06 question. And as those numbers have

2:33:09 strayed from that, it's just going to

2:33:11 take Gillespie having one outing

2:33:14 where he regains the confidence and that

2:33:16 could flip his 2026. I'll tell you what,

2:33:19 one of the good signs for Drew, he's got

2:33:21 a 5.5 ball force sprint percentage. His

2:33:24 career rate is 5.3. Like it's one of the

2:33:26 elite parts of his game. So, he's still

2:33:28 on track there. He just has to allow

2:33:30 less hits.

2:33:30 >> Yeah.

2:33:31 >> And

2:33:33 >> kind of bizarrely, he's hit four batters

2:33:35 this year. He only hit eight his entire

2:33:36 career.

2:33:37 >> That's the odd part. And you're seeing

2:33:39 these hit by pitches, these ball force

2:33:40 sprints when guys are already on. That's

2:33:43 why you see the damage being done to

2:33:44 Drew Gillespie. And you can even factor

2:33:46 in a wild pitch last weekend that led to

2:33:48 a steal a first.

2:33:50 >> Yep. It's wild pitch, hit by pitch,

2:33:53 double. And and that's what's been so

2:33:55 killer for Gillespie. And speaking of

2:33:57 his catcher picks him up there, Andy

2:33:59 Cosro, a fantastic stop against Alexi,

2:34:01 who has stolen first four times this

2:34:03 year to pace the tour like he never

2:34:06 left. DREW GILLESPIE

2:34:09 WITH EMPHASIS.

2:34:12 SITS DOWN REESE ALEXI AND THE SAVANNAH

2:34:14 BANANAS. HE IS PERFECT IN THE EIGHTH AND

2:34:17 THE ANIMALS STILL LEAD IT TWO TO ZERO.

2:34:20 >> MAKE IT 2-1. The equalizer.

2:34:42 Hey guys,

2:34:51 me

2:34:58 Nice.

2:35:07 Light up nice.

2:35:17 Yeah. Heat.

2:35:44 To the bottom of the eighth inning we

2:35:46 go. The bananas out trick play the party

2:35:49 animals 10 to7 to earn the equalizer

2:35:52 point which means it is a 2-1 ball game

2:35:55 not two to zero as you see on your

2:35:57 scoreboard right there it is 2 to one.

2:36:00 >> Yep. And great correction immediately

2:36:02 from our control room.

2:36:04 >> The Savannah Bananas outduel the animals

2:36:07 in that allimportant category as the

2:36:09 visiting team tonight.

2:36:11 >> First time they've been able to do so

2:36:13 since the 8th of March. And look, the

2:36:15 Party Animals are kind of they took a

2:36:17 calculated gamble tonight. Yeah. Not

2:36:19 trying to put too much pressure on the

2:36:20 Bananas, especially they saw how well

2:36:22 Garrett Delena was pitching. They just

2:36:24 wanted to make sure they kept getting

2:36:25 outs behind him. And with the Party

2:36:28 Animals able to keep the Bananas off the

2:36:30 board in the top half of this eighth

2:36:32 inning, if they're able to score against

2:36:34 Danny Hosley in the bottom half, they

2:36:36 jump back out to a two-point advantage.

2:36:39 It's almost like the equalizer point was

2:36:41 never even earned in the first place.

2:36:42 And and that's where you tell your team

2:36:44 in the eight, hey, you're down four. The

2:36:46 pitcher on the mound needs to gain

2:36:48 confidence. Don't force the issue. Don't

2:36:50 lose the inning and the equalizer

2:36:52 because you going too hard for trick

2:36:54 plays. It's that banana ball feel that

2:36:56 is so crucial. And now, as you

2:36:58 mentioned, Danny Hosley out there, and I

2:36:59 want to go back to these two teams

2:37:01 having very different bodies of work.

2:37:02 The Bananas number one in the Banana

2:37:04 Ball Championship League. The Party

2:37:06 Animals standing wise, that is the Party

2:37:08 Animals out of the playoff picture.

2:37:10 Bananas have lost three straight.

2:37:12 Animals have lost two of their last

2:37:13 three. Each team needs a huge uplift.

2:37:17 Someone's going to get it. Either a

2:37:18 gritty win for the Animals or a comeback

2:37:20 victory for the Bananas. That will be

2:37:22 decided in the next 20 minutes of real

2:37:24 time. Unless we see showdowns.

2:37:29 It's Dustin Ber, Bryson Bloomer, and

2:37:31 then at the top of the order, Andy

2:37:32 Cosbro due to swing it here in the last

2:37:35 of the eighth. As first pitch, ground

2:37:38 ball, Kyle Jackson. I don't know where

2:37:40 he was looking, but he makes the play.

2:37:42 >> He's going second for one, back to first

2:37:45 for also just one.

2:37:48 >> He did. He turned straight up to second

2:37:50 base.

2:37:51 >> I don't know. I mean, it's fascinating.

2:37:54 Every now and then you'll see teammates,

2:37:56 you know, kind of get together to try

2:37:58 and pull off these trick plays together.

2:38:01 But Ryan Cox really not in the vicinity

2:38:03 whatsoever, right? They've earned the

2:38:04 equalizer point.

2:38:06 Coxy's up the mind like, "Hey, let's

2:38:08 win. Let's make sure that the party

2:38:10 animals don't claim the point available

2:38:12 in the eighth now."

2:38:14 >> Huh.

2:38:29 In a one-point game in the eighth

2:38:32 inning. And Hosley brings Olsson and Cox

2:38:35 onto the mound to dance.

2:38:36 >> Yep.

2:38:37 >> Banana ball.

2:38:38 >> That's banana ball, man. I I love it.

2:38:40 >> This guy, I mean, his ERA is still at

2:38:42 zero this season. He has all the

2:38:44 confidence in the world to be able to do

2:38:46 such a thing as Bloomer ropes this down

2:38:48 the line. AND THAT WILL DROP INTO FAIR

2:38:51 TERRITORY. Bloomer rounding first and he

2:38:54 will stand at second with a double.

2:38:58 That is a rare sight.

2:39:02 a base hit against Danny Hustler.

2:39:03 Correct. You know, that's correct.

2:39:05 >> I think Party Animals Dugout looks at

2:39:07 that and says, "Oh, wow. We we we can do

2:39:08 it."

2:39:11 >> Yeah. There have not been a lot of

2:39:12 runners in scoring position this year

2:39:14 against

2:39:14 >> Hos and this lineup. The Animals have

2:39:16 faced Hosley in his career more than

2:39:17 anybody tenfold.

2:39:20 But he's still just such a killer.

2:39:23 >> Whiff through the Vulcan change up to

2:39:25 even up the count on Andy Cosgrove. Two

2:39:28 for three on the evening.

2:39:33 And a bouncer bobbled by Cox. Can he

2:39:36 recover?

2:39:38 No. And Ziggy couldn't scoop him anyway.

2:39:40 >> Yep.

2:39:42 >> Wow. Only the second error on the year

2:39:44 for the glove magician.

2:39:45 >> Rare. Rare.

2:39:48 Gives the party animals just that much

2:39:50 more life.

2:39:51 >> Yeah. I mean, you you allow the one hole

2:39:54 of free 90 ft on the miscue. Now you get

2:39:58 the two-hole Hampton, the three-hole

2:39:59 skull.

2:40:02 >> And Reese Hampton, one of the fastest

2:40:04 guys in the sport. Very tough to double

2:40:06 up.

2:40:10 >> And Hampton has faced Hosley more than

2:40:11 anybody else in the history of the

2:40:13 sport.

2:40:13 >> Wow.

2:40:16 This battle as good as it gets in Banana

2:40:18 Ball.

2:40:23 >> Chance for the fans.

2:40:26 OH, CLEAN CATCH IN THE SECOND DECK. WHAT

2:40:28 A PLAY BY THAT GUY.

2:40:37 >> OH, THE SPOTLIGHT. HE GETS THE

2:40:40 SPOTLIGHT, TOO.

2:40:42 And that foul ball was a DQ shake snag.

2:40:45 The fan who caught the foul ball won

2:40:47 free DQ for their row. And you can win

2:40:50 at home by scanning this QR code to

2:40:52 download the DQ app and earn your own

2:40:54 rewards.

2:40:56 >> Maybe I will.

2:40:59 >> I advise you do high pop behind the

2:41:02 dish. This would be an unreal play by

2:41:03 the fans.

2:41:07 >> Yeah, I'll tell you what.

2:41:09 >> Second. Would that also would that row?

2:41:12 >> Nope. Only the first one. The first one.

2:41:14 Yeah, you can only have one. Woo! Woo!

2:41:17 I'll tell you what, Danny Hosley, that

2:41:18 is not the first time we've seen in such

2:41:20 a critical moment, the fans make a big

2:41:22 play on his path. The same thing

2:41:24 happened in Chapel Hill in early April

2:41:27 when he was facing off against Jos

2:41:29 Gonzalez Jr. now gets Lee Hampton and

2:41:32 Skull shoots another one to the fans and

2:41:35 they'll come up empty for a second time

2:41:38 against Skoley.

2:41:39 >> A really tough one. That was a low 90s

2:41:42 pitch from Hosley that lost little to no

2:41:44 vo coming off the bat. Straight back.

2:41:51 Bloomer off second. Smith off first. The

2:41:54 O2

2:41:56 FLIPPED OUT TO LEFT FIELD.

2:41:59 RACK COMING UP THROWING.

2:42:02 WHAT A THROW. NOT IN TIME. JAKE SKULL

2:42:06 WALKS OFF THE EIGHTH INNING.

2:42:09 Heck of a hustle and slide from Bryson

2:42:12 Bloomer. It's a 3-1 ANIMALS LEAD.

2:42:14 >> THE PARTY Animals

2:42:16 clicking late heroics

2:42:19 and Hosley gives HIM A RUN FOR THE FIRST

2:42:21 TIME IN 2026.

2:42:24 >> I DON'T know how the Bananas don't

2:42:26 challenge this call.

2:42:27 >> Yeah,

2:42:29 the captain was

2:42:31 >> That's why That's why you don't

2:42:32 challenge it. A little boy throb at home

2:42:34 plate too to celebrate for the party

2:42:38 animals. I'll be your number one boy.

2:42:46 Shelby Daron

2:42:57 >> and the challenge will be

2:43:01 initiated by the Savannah Bananas. We

2:43:03 saw a pretty clean look at it. But in

2:43:05 this moment, you've got to challenge.

2:43:06 >> It just makes too much sense right now.

2:43:08 If you're Tyler Gillum, you can't chance

2:43:10 anything and you don't want to be down

2:43:12 multiple points going into the ninth

2:43:13 inning. So, good use of the challenge,

2:43:16 even if it doesn't appear that it's

2:43:18 going to be successful for the Bananas

2:43:20 and their coaching staff.

2:43:21 >> That first angle, you can hear fans at

2:43:23 Truis Park, they the audible gasp

2:43:25 because it looks like Bloomer's out.

2:43:27 Then you see a much more viable angle

2:43:30 here, hand on the plate.

2:43:32 >> Yes.

2:43:33 >> And and clearly safe for Bryson Bloomer.

2:43:36 >> Here's the thing. It just sends a

2:43:37 message to your team. If you're Tyler

2:43:39 Gillum, we're not giving up on this

2:43:41 game. We're still going to use the

2:43:43 challenge even if we don't think it's

2:43:45 going to be successful. We want to win.

2:43:47 We want to stay in this thing.

2:43:50 >> It's more about the message.

2:43:53 >> It's

2:43:55 another win for the Black and Pink.

2:43:57 They've needed breaks all season.

2:43:59 They're getting them tonight.

2:44:01 3-1 game going to the ninth where every

2:44:04 run scored counts as a point.

2:44:06 And Party Panda's got something to say.

2:44:12 means it's time to look up at the

2:44:14 scoreboard.

2:44:16 Now, after eight innings of play,

2:44:20 the Party Animals lead three to nothing.

2:44:24 But the Bananas just clenched the

2:44:27 equalizer point by having more trick

2:44:29 plays than the Party Animals, which

2:44:31 means that we head into the final inning

2:44:34 with the score three points to one. But

2:44:38 the thing about banana ball Atlanta is

2:44:41 that in the final inning, every single

2:44:45 run scored counts as a point, which

2:44:48 means the Bananas need to put up at

2:44:50 least two to SEND US TO THE BOTTOM half

2:44:53 of the ninth. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOU

2:44:56 HAVE BEEN AMAZING ALL GAME LONG, BUT I

2:45:01 NEED TO FEEL YOUR ENERGY.

2:45:13 Listen to this place.

2:45:16 >> I I I mean, look, I want to be clear.

2:45:20 75% of them showed up for the Savannah

2:45:23 Bananas, but they they're torn. They've

2:45:26 fallen in love with the Party Animals

2:45:27 tonight. Energy level at a 10. And now

2:45:30 Peter Holden takes them out. I'd be

2:45:33 shocked, Bo. I mean, you see his numbers

2:45:35 are great. He's fit so well for the

2:45:37 Animals late in games. But I would be

2:45:39 shocked. This is the one story line I

2:45:41 want to start with if Dan Ober does not

2:45:44 get a golden batter opportunity here to

2:45:47 face Peter Holden a couple of times.

2:45:50 It's 3, four, and five in the Bananas

2:45:52 lineup. So it's Meadows, Cruz, and Kyle

2:45:55 Jackson due to swinging. And even if

2:45:59 Meadows is able to get on to start the

2:46:00 inning, then it's a string of three

2:46:02 straight lefties facing Peter Holden and

2:46:05 Cruz Jackson and then Ryan Cox. So right

2:46:08 now, you know, Dan Over is a guy who

2:46:10 loves raking against left-handed

2:46:12 pitching. And he is not afraid to say

2:46:14 that to anybody. Makes all the sense in

2:46:17 the world when you consider had that

2:46:19 game tying home run against Peter Holden

2:46:22 in Yankee Stadium. So once you can get

2:46:24 somebody on against Pistol Pete, you got

2:46:27 to think you're immediately sending

2:46:28 overs to the dish. Wow.

2:46:32 The 65 southpaw. Peter Holden 0 for two

2:46:35 in his save opportunities this year.

2:46:39 I am just blown away. I mean, this is

2:46:43 it's been tough at points tonight to

2:46:45 bring a coherent thought to the table on

2:46:47 true TV, but that shot of Peter Holden,

2:46:51 the incredible atmosphere the Braves

2:46:54 have constructed in this park that

2:46:56 Banana Ball has come to life in.

2:46:59 >> And how about Ty Jackson?

2:47:01 >> Yeah, what a night for our sport, man.

2:47:04 >> Turns out he was entered in Dr. spot in

2:47:07 the lineup in the extra hitter role.

2:47:09 Drake mentioned it a couple innings ago.

2:47:11 He was out in right field. So this is

2:47:13 actually tie two fly trying to be the

2:47:15 spark plug as it's last licks for the

2:47:18 bananas.

2:47:21 >> Jackson here in his third tour. His

2:47:22 fifth year as a banana.

2:47:26 Pitcher pitch to get Holden back in the

2:47:28 count.

2:47:31 The pride of Vero Beach, Florida on the

2:47:33 mound. The Jacksonville Fidian at the

2:47:36 dish and a nice piece of hitting past

2:47:39 the dive of Faber. Ty Jackson does his

2:47:42 job. The tying run will come to home

2:47:44 plate here in the ninth.

2:47:47 And who else

2:47:49 but the hero, Robert Anthony Cruz.

2:47:55 This is where I mean

2:47:57 >> managerial wise it gets so tricky for

2:47:58 the Bananas because this is a guy who

2:48:00 has two ninth inning game tying home

2:48:02 runs this year

2:48:04 >> between the regular season and the open.

2:48:06 >> Rack was born in the ninth inning with a

2:48:08 man on base

2:48:09 >> right

2:48:10 >> as the tying point.

2:48:11 >> And he's one for two tonight with a

2:48:12 sprint. Two for five in the ninth inning

2:48:15 in the regular season with a ball force

2:48:16 sprint. You're not going to take the bat

2:48:18 out of his hands. He's got that clutch

2:48:20 gene

2:48:20 >> and those two hits.

2:48:22 >> Bombs.

2:48:23 >> Both home runs.

2:48:28 >> Conversely, Holden has that epic pickoff

2:48:30 move.

2:48:32 You saw him go to it there.

2:48:35 He's got the best swing and miss stuff

2:48:37 of anybody on the back end of the party.

2:48:39 Animals Arsenal.

2:48:42 Good on good right here.

2:48:45 Two out

2:48:47 highf fly ball.

2:48:50 Jake Skull

2:48:52 will take care of the can of corn.

2:48:53 Jackson back to first.

2:48:56 One away. And here comes the golden

2:48:59 batter.

2:49:01 There's only one man it could be.

2:49:07 Ladies and gentlemen, the Savannah

2:49:09 Bananas are invoking the golden batter

2:49:13 rule. Hitting in the place of KJ Jackson

2:49:17 is THE SAVANNAH BANANAS GOLDEN BATTER.

2:49:20 PLEASE WELCOME DAN

2:49:23 OBER.

2:49:27 He takes the place of Kyle Jackson who

2:49:31 was two for three tonight. But Dan

2:49:34 Obururst two weeks ago

2:49:38 to the night a home run in Yankee

2:49:41 Stadium to send a game to showdowns

2:49:43 against Peter Holden.

2:49:46 You can't wait to Golden Bat him for

2:49:48 Ryan Cox. There's a possibility Jackson

2:49:50 hits into a double play and ends this

2:49:52 ball game. You've just got to force the

2:49:54 issue and hope Danny Bananas can run

2:49:57 into one and tie this game yet again.

2:50:03 overburst ahead 20. It was an opposite

2:50:06 field upper deck home run in Yankee

2:50:09 Stadium

2:50:12 couple Saturday nights ago, Friday night

2:50:14 rather, as this one is rolled over. It's

2:50:16 going to be a tough play. Bloomer bare

2:50:18 hand, no play. Well, it turns out the

2:50:21 only chance he had was letting it

2:50:22 potentially go foul.

2:50:25 >> I don't know if it would have.

2:50:27 >> I don't think so. I think Dan put it in

2:50:30 the perfect spot.

2:50:32 >> It's a really tricky situation. On the

2:50:34 bright side, though, Bryson Bloomer

2:50:36 doesn't throw the ball whatsoever. Yep.

2:50:38 Holds on to it. I mean, if he tries to

2:50:40 whip that over, you're probably going to

2:50:42 see Tai Jackson advance up to third base

2:50:44 in the meantime. Instead, guys on first

2:50:47 and second, and now it's Ryan Cox taking

2:50:50 ball one.

2:50:53 >> Coxy one for three tonight.

2:50:56 >> Tying run on first base.

2:51:02 Fast ball scrapes the outside corner.

2:51:10 >> And this left on left with the way Peter

2:51:11 Holden hides the ball.

2:51:16 >> Wow. Just below the knees.

2:51:17 >> Yep. Again. Great from Vincent Chapman,

2:51:19 the homepoint umpire. Big moment. He's

2:51:22 meeting it.

2:51:30 2-1.

2:51:32 >> Slow roller. Can't get two on it. Babber

2:51:35 flipped for one. Bananas down to their

2:51:37 final out, but the game's tying run

2:51:40 advances into scoring position.

2:51:43 >> Who else with the longest tenyard

2:51:45 Savannah Banana? No one in history has

2:51:48 worn yellow longer.

2:51:51 Bill Loy

2:51:54 in his home state.

2:51:56 Not a single soul has left this venue.

2:51:59 The home of the Atlanta Braves, Dublin,

2:52:02 Georgia's own in the right-handed

2:52:05 batters box. Grew up dreaming of these

2:52:08 moments, but wearing a Braves uniform

2:52:10 instead has a chance to do it for the

2:52:12 guys in yellow. And Laroy is three for

2:52:15 three with two ball four sprints in the

2:52:18 ninth inning of play this season.

2:52:22 High-fly ball LEFT FIELD. TANNER THOMAS

2:52:25 LOSES HIS HAT, GETS THE BANANA BALL, AND

2:52:29 THE PARTY ANIMALS WIN THEIR FIRST EVER

2:52:31 HEADLINING GAME IN A MAJOR League

2:52:33 Baseball stadium.

2:52:36 That is the complete contest the Black

2:52:39 and Pink needed TO REVIVE A SLOW START

2:52:42 IN 2026. AND THE SAVANNAH BANANAS HAVE

2:52:46 NOW dropped four straight contests.

2:52:51 The animals defending champions.

2:52:55 Do not let them get hot.

2:53:07 The only point the bananas scored did

2:53:10 not come off their bats in this game. It

2:53:13 was the equalizer. the trick plays.

2:53:18 Outside of it, the Party Animals

2:53:20 pitching staff put their most complete

2:53:23 game of the year together

2:53:25 in front of 40,000.

2:53:28 And you have no idea what a sigh of

2:53:30 relief it is for that pitching staff to

2:53:32 nail down just their second save in 2026

2:53:37 for this team. They were just one for

2:53:39 nine in save opportunities entering

2:53:41 tonight. They earned the save. They

2:53:44 earned the victory and you can just see

2:53:46 the heartbreak right now for some of

2:53:48 these Savannah bananas really mired in a

2:53:51 wild slump.

2:53:54 >> Got to be Garrett Deleno, right?

2:53:57 >> Red Castillo,

2:53:58 >> who you got?

2:54:01 >> Hey guys, it took six innings, 70

2:54:03 pitches. Garrett Deleno, our showman of

2:54:05 the game. What does it mean to you?

2:54:06 First time as a headliner for this team

2:54:08 in an MLB stadium and a first win.

2:54:10 >> Crazy. I mean, we've been wanting to do

2:54:11 this for a long time, especially against

2:54:12 the bananas. We've been playing second

2:54:14 fiddle to them for a long, long time. It

2:54:16 was awesome. Got to see Kirby Smart, my

2:54:18 childhood favorite player of all time.

2:54:20 Also from Jacksonville, Chipper Jones.

2:54:22 Got to see him. It was awesome.

2:54:23 >> The energy here through the roof. We got

2:54:24 two more games here. How do you keep the

2:54:26 momentum going as confetti rains down

2:54:27 for hopefully two more games.

2:54:29 >> We just got to keep playing ball. You

2:54:30 know, we've had a tough start, but we're

2:54:32 going to keep keep playing ball. We'll

2:54:33 be fine.

2:54:34 >> Hey, from 12-year-old Colton, our banana

2:54:36 ball backstage question. Who has the

2:54:38 most chopped haircut on the team?

2:54:40 >> Most chopped haircut on the team. It's

2:54:42 probably It's probably Ryan Rodriguez,

2:54:44 honestly. Probably got It's not me,

2:54:46 though. I got that good hair. He's got

2:54:48 that good hair no matter if it's longer

2:54:50 or short. And confetti RATING DOWN FOR

2:54:52 THE PARTY ANIMALS TONIGHT, GUYS. Back to

2:54:53 you. Thank you so much, Rex. Great to

2:54:56 hear from Garrett Deleno, guy who

2:54:58 started his career in Banana Land as a

2:55:00 Savannah Banana all the way back in

2:55:02 2018. But here in his fifth world tour

2:55:05 for the party animals, that is three

2:55:07 straight fantastic starts for Delano.

2:55:10 Across his last three outings, you are

2:55:12 now looking at 15 innings pitched. Only

2:55:14 two runs allowed. Wow.

2:55:16 >> It is unbelievable to see this

2:55:19 turnaround for Garrett Toeno. Six

2:55:21 innings pitched. You saw the two points,

2:55:23 earned three Ks and do six trick plays

2:55:26 as well. So did his job on the mound.

2:55:29 And all in all, what a momentous night

2:55:32 for the party animals able to grab that

2:55:35 win. I mean, Garrett Deleno said he had

2:55:36 the good hair. I'd argue he had the

2:55:38 great stuff tonight on that pitcher

2:55:40 mound. A and to have the show behind you

2:55:44 for Garrett Deleno and the party animals

2:55:46 tonight. Again, the first time ever in a

2:55:48 major league stadium where the animals

2:55:49 headline, it meant that Party Down,

2:55:51 their official band, or Panda, their PA

2:55:54 guy, or DJJC. the little details about

2:55:57 this being their show. The the

2:55:59 wristbands you saw, that's a different

2:56:01 kind of momentum boost. And the guys

2:56:03 wore it all night long. They have not

2:56:04 looked that confident yet this season.

2:56:07 They were built by a crowd that was

2:56:09 behind them tonight. Even Chipper Jones

2:56:11 and Kirby Smart wearing Party Animals

2:56:13 gear here in Atlanta. Welcome back into

2:56:15 the booth by the way everybody. That's

2:56:17 Drake Tol. He's the voice of the Party

2:56:18 Animals who just won this 3-1. That is

2:56:20 Josh Tvki, the statistical savant of

2:56:23 Banana Ball. Josh, your final take on

2:56:25 this 3-1 Animals victory.

2:56:26 >> Well, I mean, again, the party animals

2:56:28 sensational throughout the night and it

2:56:30 really started with that pitching staff

2:56:32 and this team knows that they have been

2:56:34 able to win games throughout the season,

2:56:36 unfortunately, is just slipped out at

2:56:38 the last second for this squad. Skull

2:56:41 and Hampton were talking about it after

2:56:42 New York City on night one. They're

2:56:44 like, "What are we doing wrong?" And I

2:56:46 looked at those guys. I said,

2:56:47 "Absolutely nothing. You just have to

2:56:49 figure out what the heck is going on in

2:56:52 the ninth inning because other than

2:56:53 that, you guys are doing everything

2:56:55 right. And you saw the party animals

2:56:57 play that full complete game, do

2:57:00 everything the right way. And conversely

2:57:02 for the Savannah Bananas, they cannot

2:57:05 start taking things for granted by any

2:57:07 means because once again, it's the

2:57:10 defense that kind of reared its ugly

2:57:12 head. Something that Tyler Gillum's

2:57:13 really been harping on. You saw the

2:57:15 trick play miss from Ziegler in the

2:57:17 second lead to a walk-off for the

2:57:19 Animals. And that costly error from Cox

2:57:21 in the eighth gave the Party Animals

2:57:23 even more breathing room tonight to

2:57:25 secure that 3 to1 victory. So these

2:57:28 Savannah Bananas right now really have

2:57:30 to clean some things up.

2:57:31 >> And these two teams were in the first

2:57:32 third of the season and going into a

2:57:34 game tomorrow where the Bananas have

2:57:35 lost four straight. The question is

2:57:36 against a veteran Party Animals team.

2:57:38 They've been on losing streaks before.

2:57:39 They've lost before. They figured it out

2:57:41 for the Bananas that youth h how do you

2:57:44 form in that locker room? How do you

2:57:46 form a cohesion amongst guys who are

2:57:49 still learning the sport of banana ball,

2:57:51 who are still learning each other?

2:57:52 That's a big question going into

2:57:54 tomorrow's contest. And again, history

2:57:56 this week. I hope you guys are loose.

2:57:58 >> Oh yeah,

2:57:58 >> for the first time ever, we got three

2:58:00 games in an MLB park in one weekend.

2:58:02 >> And I mean, as you look at it, another

2:58:03 triple header on the docket tomorrow

2:58:05 night here in the world of Banana Ball.

2:58:07 We will be on the Party Animals YouTube

2:58:09 channel at 700 PM Eastern for the second

2:58:12 battle between these two squads in Truis

2:58:14 Park. And then we get to see the

2:58:15 conclusion of the Clowns Versus

2:58:16 Tailgators in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And the

2:58:19 Coconuts and Firefighters from Witchah,

2:58:21 Kansas. They will get started an hour

2:58:23 later than us. And thank you so much for

2:58:26 spending your Big Tiger Friday with us

2:58:28 here in virtual Banana Land for our

2:58:31 entire casting crew, which starts with

2:58:33 our control room about 4 hours down the

2:58:35 road in Savannah. This broadcast

2:58:36 directed by Chris Haynes and then our

2:58:38 entire crew here in Atlanta. Fantastic

2:58:42 work by everybody. Our producer Chad

2:58:44 Reese, our executive producer Josh

2:58:46 Richardson, our guy down on the field,

2:58:48 Mr. Rex Castillo, and my legends in the

2:58:50 booth, Josh Tipsky, Drake Tol. I am Bo

2:58:53 Scalla saying so long for now. Same

2:58:55 place, same time tomorrow.

2:58:58 >> Yes.

2:58:59 >> Good night. Party on AND

2:59:02 >> SEE YOU LATER.

2:59:30 HEY, HEY, HEY.

2:59:49 HEY,
