📝 Full transcript (3925 segments)

0:00 Monchey of DR Meadows is the third

0:02 overall pick in the Savannah Bananas

0:03 player draft. Chris Clark struck out DR

0:06 and then told the entire world he was

0:09 indeed Braxton Keith.

0:12 The debut of the Tailgaters in the

0:13 football stadium would not be complete

0:15 without the quad father, Taj Porter.

0:17 Along with Joe Sborz Zach Blankenship

0:19 and Christian Davis hitting a little run

0:21 silly. And then what about this?

0:22 The sixth round pick, Brett Donny Allen

0:25 with the first Tailgaters trick play of

0:28 a pitcher in 2026 out there on the bump

0:31 able to throw a scoreless inning. And

0:32 then a handspring off of the bump. The

0:35 defense would continue there as Princess

0:38 JB, Jordan Barth, manning the hot

0:40 corner. Still set the dish. What do we

0:42 got here? Oh man, diving grab, behind

0:44 the back transfer, bucket. The first

0:47 trick play in the young career of the

0:50 Augustana standout in Jordan Barth. But

0:53 then the bats would inevitably come

0:55 around as the first home run of 2026

0:57 comes off the bat of Travis Manganello,

1:00 the first home run in a football

1:01 stadium. And then he told us how he

1:02 felt.

1:05 You just hit a home run in front of

1:06 60,000 people. How do you feel? Well

1:09 Brett, plain and simple, I'm the best

1:11 there ever is. I mean, I wake up in the

1:13 morning and I

1:15 piss excellence.

1:16 I'm I'm a big character, American

1:18 winning machine. If you ain't first,

1:20 you're last.

1:22 >> [cheering]

1:24 >> Grub!

1:26 We went to Frisco and the Texas

1:28 Tailgaters finally unveiled their

1:30 official mascot, the cowboy wearing big

1:34 old green alligator himself, who's going

1:37 to steal every piece of meat that you

1:40 have at your tailgate, Grub the Gator.

1:43 And that weekend in Frisco was special

1:46 [music] because then we played the Loco

1:48 Beach Coconuts and our captain does

1:50 this. Father, Jordan Hussein, the Texas

1:53 kid, a diving grab as the Tailgaters

1:56 would be tied up all at two a piece and

1:58 Fiber out there making web gems just as

2:01 he does so very, very, very often for

2:04 the boys in blue and orange. And then,

2:06 golden batter, Eric Osberg.

2:09 Magic can't happen twice, but Jordan

2:11 Hussein can. And then, after the

2:14 defensive practice,

2:15 >> [music]

2:15 >> trailing by one point going to the

2:17 bottom of the ninth, who do the

2:18 Tailgaters call on? The Tailgaters

2:20 golden batter, KYLE K MARTEN!

2:25 MARTEN!

2:26 WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU WANT?

2:28 IN THE biggest moment [music] to this

2:29 point of the Tailgaters season,

2:32 down by one point in the bottom of the

2:34 ninth, backs against the wall, against

2:36 C.J. Williams,

2:38 one and oh.

2:40 Big on big.

2:43 K Marten

2:44 out to left field!

2:46 He ain't GOING BACK AT THE FENCE!

2:49 It's [cheering] gone!

2:50 It's gone!

2:51 It's gone!

2:52 Kyle Marten

2:54 first home run of the season!

2:55 Ties us

2:57 up at three a piece!

2:58 Where else would you rather be?

3:04 >> [cheering]

3:08 >> AND HOW ABOUT TACO?

3:11 The first earned run C.J. Williams has

3:14 ever conceded.

3:16 THIS IS BANANA [screaming] BALL!

3:20 THE moment never too big in the ninth,

3:22 but what about in showdowns? C.J.

3:24 Williams, Nick Lopez, bottom of round

3:27 number one, how would it end?

3:32 LOPI OVER THE HEAD OF GIDEON ANTLE!

3:34 >> [screaming]

3:35 >> It's going to ROLL FOR A WHILE! Gideon's

3:37 got good wheels! Get on your horse,

3:39 Lopi! Get on your horse!

3:42 Antle finally gets to it! Lopi's on

3:44 third! And 80-grade arm sails over the

3:47 head! Tailgaters win! Tailgaters win!

3:50 Tailgaters win! Nick Lopez walks it off

3:54 for the three and we are so back IN THE

3:56 LONE STAR STATE.

4:00 After going four and four over their

4:02 final eight games heading into the

4:04 Banana Ball Open,

4:05 something caught fire within the Texas

4:08 Tailgaters [music]

4:09 and specifically their 33-year-old

4:11 superstar, Kyle Martin, in game one

4:14 against the Firefighters.

4:15 >> here for the Texas Tailgaters and K

4:16 Martin sends one deep center field. K

4:20 Martin with another long ball.

4:23 Welcome to the auction and the Banana

4:25 Ball Open.

4:26 First of two home runs for K Martin in

4:28 the Open and then Sunshine provided us

4:31 the play of the evening. Mason Maxwell,

4:33 HARD HIT SUNNY TIES UP. TRICK PLAY. OH,

4:36 IT'S A DOUBLE trick play.

4:38 Is that the play of the year? Jonathan

4:41 Sunshine looters lays out, but between

4:44 the legs bucket throws it to first.

4:46 Taylor Justice between the legs bucket.

4:50 That was psychotic. This

4:52 is Banana Ball. And from arguably

4:56 [music] the play of the year

4:57 to the play that helped win the

4:59 Tailgaters the equalizer point and win

5:02 the ballgame on Friday night. McDowell,

5:04 over to J5, between the legs and that's

5:07 the equalizer point for the Tailgaters.

5:10 Double trick play. Bucket, bucket and

5:13 just like that the Texas Tailgaters, off

5:16 the backs of the Texas Kid and Taylor

5:19 Justice, win the equalizer point.

5:22 It's vitally important.

5:24 With a win on Friday night against the

5:25 Firefighters, the Tailgaters faced off

5:27 in game one of the Banana Ball Open

5:29 championship against those Savannah

5:30 Bananas. And how about a start to it

5:33 from Jordan Houssain, a little bucket

5:36 there on a 6-4-6-3

5:38 double play. You've never seen anything

5:40 like that in your entire life. And then

5:42 we hadn't seen this yet this year

5:44 either. Jordan Bartlett hits his first

5:46 home run in his Banana Ball career in

5:49 route to putting the Tailgaters up two

5:51 points to none there in the third

5:54 inning. Feeling really good about those

5:56 boys in blue and orange. Now, let's feel

5:57 a little bit better. Eighth inning, need

5:59 three trick plays to win the equalizer

6:01 point. Book it. That is now 13 to 12 in

6:04 the trick play category. Bounce or

6:06 Taylor Justice top play. Joe Sperone

6:08 loses the cowboy hat. Book it yet again.

6:11 13 trick plays a piece to get the final

6:13 out of the inning. Taylor Justice

6:15 bounces it off the turf like LaMelo and

6:17 that's how the Tailgaters win the

6:18 equalizer point. And then, here's how

6:21 they won the ballgame.

6:23 With the game on the line.

6:27 HIGH FLY BALL

6:28 >> [cheering]

6:28 >> DEEP OUT TO RIGHT CENTER FIELD. WATSON

6:30 ON HIS HORSE. HE DOESN'T GET THERE AS IT

6:32 BANGS OFF THE WALL. PACK JACKSON WILL

6:35 SCORE [cheering] EASILY. OVERS LOOKING

6:37 FOR THREE BASES. HE'S OUT.

6:39 PERFECT [cheering] RELAY BY JORDAN

6:41 HUSSEIN. FANTASTIC DEFENSE BY JORDAN

6:44 BARR.

6:45 AND THE TAILGATERS HANG ON 3-2 WINNERS.

6:48 WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT that Jordan

6:50 Jordan connection AND THE TEXAS

6:52 TAILGATERS COME IN HERE AND UPSET THE

6:55 SAVANNAH Bananas

6:56 to win GAME ONE OF THE first ever Banana

7:00 Ball [screaming] Open. From a game one

7:02 victory to winning the whole thing the

7:04 very next day.

7:05 >> Tailgaters putting this in the hands of

7:07 their all-star from a season ago in Nick

7:10 Lopez.

7:11 The 0-2.

7:13 THAT'S HIT WELL DEEP OUT TO LEFT. ALEX

7:16 ARIAS ON HIS HORSE.

7:19 IT SETTLES ON THE WARNING TRACK. LOPEZ

7:21 AROUND SECOND.

7:23 Reece gets to the ball. Lopez around

7:25 third.

7:27 No relay.

7:28 Nick Lopez

7:29 clinches a playoff spot for the Texas

7:32 Tailgaters.

7:34 And the boys in blue and orange

7:36 are going to lock in a playoff spot

7:39 6-1 early. it, man.

7:41 Nick Lopez,

7:43 the man who won all the shutouts last

7:45 year for the Tailgaters, comes up in the

7:48 biggest spot of his Banana Ball career.

7:51 We'll see you in October. We just never

7:53 gave up, man.

7:54 Even in the locker room we're talking,

7:56 we're going to beat these guys.

7:58 >> [music]

7:58 >> They got us last year

7:59 and the first couple games this year,

8:01 but we never gave up. That's the

8:02 difference. And from one historic moment

8:04 to another, the first ever pop-up game

8:06 in Banana Ball history at Navasota High

8:08 School in front of a thousand people,

8:10 the Texas Tailgaters, Savannah Bananas,

8:12 and Kyle Margen welcomes you to the

8:15 auction. As he hits a two-run blast in

8:17 the first inning that walks it off for

8:19 the Texas Tailgaters, putting them up

8:21 one to nothing. What about Jonathan

8:23 "Sunshine" Leaders, the inventor of the

8:25 foot volley? One, two, three, four,

8:29 five, six, seven times Sunny goes off

8:32 the legs and the feet to give you a

8:34 trick play that you've never seen

8:36 before. Hopefully, you'll see it again,

8:38 but you will never, ever, ever forget.

8:42 Sunny does that, and then his

8:43 counterpart up the middle does this.

8:46 Jordan Hussein, the captain of the Texas

8:49 Tailgaters, a behind-the-back

8:51 book it as the tenth trick play of the

8:53 night, and while on the microphone, too,

8:56 Jordan Hussein pulls out a special one.

8:58 To end the ball game, the team who's

9:00 just so tricky in the Tailgaters gets

9:02 their fifteenth and final trick play to

9:04 defeat the Savannah Bananas five to

9:06 nothing at Navasota High School in

9:08 Banana Ball's first ever pop-up game.

9:10 From history to history, Saturday, the

9:12 biggest Banana Ball game ever, 102,000

9:15 people, Chris Clark strikes out Dude

9:17 Perfect's Tyler Tony at Kyle Field on

9:20 the campus of Texas A&M in the top of

9:22 the second inning to conclude matters.

9:24 What a special moment that was for CC

9:27 and those boys in blue and orange.

9:30 And then Jordan Hussein

9:33 ball for a sprint. Typical ball for a

9:35 sprint, you'd think. No, throws it out

9:38 in the outfield. Fibers made it to

9:39 second. He's getting to third. Aaron

9:42 throw comes back in the infield. WHERE'S

9:44 JORDAN HUSSEIN GOING? HE'S going home.

9:46 And home now, Fiber. That would end up

9:48 putting the Tailgaters in spot to go up

9:50 four to nothing and then to try and win

9:52 the ballgame.

9:54 >> winning the Banana Ball Open and

9:55 clinching a playoff spot six months

9:56 early.

9:58 High fly ball STRAIGHT AWAY. JOSE

10:01 GONZALEZ JR., the Texas kid, PUTS IT

10:04 AWAY. AND THE TAILGATERS WIN THE BIGGEST

10:07 BANANA BALL GAME OF ALL TIME. THEY HOLD

10:09 ON 4-3 WINNERS. IF YOU'RE GOING to come

10:12 to Texas and you're going to COME AT THE

10:15 KING OF TEXAS, YOU BETTER NOT MISS. For

10:18 the first time ever, the Texas

10:20 Tailgaters HAVE SWEPT THE SAVANNAH

10:22 BANANAS HERE IN THE LONE STAR STATE,

10:25 WINNING THE SMALLEST Banana Ball game of

10:27 all time AND THE BIGGEST BANANA BALL

10:29 game of all time IN THE SAME WEEKEND

10:32 HERE IN EAST CENTRAL TEXAS.

10:38 How blessed are we to witness [music]

10:40 game three of Banana Ball here in Tulsa,

10:42 Oklahoma? A night ago, the Indianapolis

10:45 Clowns [music] here in T-Town exploded

10:46 for 16 hits en route to a 5-3 victory on

10:50 the back of Banana Ball's newest mega

10:52 star, Jackie Bradley Jr. Tonight, the

10:55 Clowns face off against the Texas

10:57 Tailgaters in a rubber match that will

10:59 see Brett [music] Maddux take the bump

11:01 for Indianapolis and the smoothest

11:03 southpaw at the tailgate, Christian

11:05 Davis.

11:07 Come on in and stay awhile. We are live

11:12 here at One Oak Field in Tulsa,

11:14 Oklahoma.

11:16 I'm Brett Loftis, voice of the Texas

11:18 Tailgaters. So happy that you're

11:20 choosing to spend your Saturday night

11:21 with us here on the Texas Tailgaters

11:23 YouTube channel. 5-3 Indianapolis Clowns

11:27 victors a night ago in game two here in

11:29 Tulsa. Jackie Bradley Jr. Period. Hey,

11:32 it was a special special night that we

11:34 got to witness here and now a rubber

11:36 match today that is really setting up a

11:38 big series here for the Indianapolis

11:40 Clowns. For the first time ever, they

11:42 can win a three-game series here with a

11:44 win tonight. Last night, they got their

11:46 first ever victory in their young

11:48 history over the Texas Tailgaters. We

11:50 keep talking about last night. Why don't

11:52 we take a look at what happened here at

11:53 One Eyed Jack Field a night ago. A lot

11:56 of offense from both of these two teams

11:58 in a special special ballgame

12:00 nonetheless. Chris Clark will start off

12:01 with a lot of pitching. Six strikeouts

12:04 on the night for him. Induced this

12:06 double trick play in the top of the

12:07 second is on the back end of it. Taylor

12:09 Justice secured the fourth trick play of

12:11 the night, [music] the 200th of the year

12:13 for the Texas Tailgaters. And yet again,

12:15 we welcome you to my favorite function.

12:18 It's called the auction. Kyle Martin of

12:20 the Savannah Bananas championship league

12:22 leader in home runs to left field yet

12:24 again. Number eight on the year for

12:26 K-Mart and would put the Tailgaters

12:28 ahead at two to one. Now at two to Nico

12:30 Holsizer, hit a banana ball that still

12:32 has not landed. [music] It is rather in

12:34 orbit. That was his second home run of

12:37 the year and excuse me, his third home

12:38 run of the year. Two-run shot there. Put

12:41 the Tailgaters down two to nothing in

12:43 the inning [music] and then they would

12:44 come and score three in the home half.

12:46 Jose Bradley Gonzalez walk-off ball for

12:48 sprint made it three to two. Now the

12:50 Clowns will do in the eighth putting it

12:51 at three at three three to three in the

12:53 ninth. Bobby La

12:57 [music]

12:59 Day fouls out to a fan. The first time

13:02 this year [music] that a Clown has

13:03 fouled out to a fan. You're thinking all

13:06 the momentum in the world. Jackie

13:07 Bradley Jr. single earlier and then a

13:08 golden batter

13:10 up a taco. His fifth homer of the year

13:13 tying him second in banana ball and his

13:16 first as the golden batter and the

13:18 game-winning [music]

13:19 home run from banana balls biggest star

13:23 perhaps in the baseball world coming and

13:24 joining us here full-time this year.

13:27 Gates Four He's would hold on in the

13:28 home half

13:30 >> [music]

13:30 >> and earn win number seven in 2026.

13:35 Now again, obviously, Jackie Bradley Jr.

13:38 had to be your showman of the ballgame

13:40 and he sure was.

13:42 Had a couple of singles. Obviously, that

13:44 game-winning home run. It was funny in

13:45 the ninth there. That single that he

13:46 hit,

13:48 Balakain Mitchell comes in runs for him

13:50 and then the three hole [music] comes

13:51 up. Jackie Bradley Jr. hits there. So,

13:54 it's just special special night for him.

13:56 16 hits for those Indianapolis Clowns.

13:58 10 runs yet again. That's back-to-back

14:00 nights that the Clowns have scored 10

14:02 runs. They've been swatting [music] that

14:04 thing around. And a big reason why is

14:07 cuz their hitting coach, Willie Carter.

14:10 Earlier this afternoon, our very own

14:11 Maddie Warren able to catch up with

14:13 coach Willie.

14:17 It is an honor to stand in this coaching

14:19 box with this man right here, coach

14:21 Carter, hitting coach for the

14:22 Indianapolis Clowns. Coach, 31 hits on

14:24 the weekend so far, 20 runs. You got

14:27 consistency, you've got power throughout

14:29 the lineup. What kind of work goes into

14:31 this team to yield those kinds of

14:32 results?

14:33 >> Number one, I'm going to say we are by

14:34 far the hardest working team in that

14:37 cage, on the field. These guys drag me

14:40 to the cage. They know I'm available at

14:42 2:00 in the morning if we need to go get

14:43 some work in. But that's all those guys,

14:45 man. They put the extra work in and

14:47 there's our we get to reap the benefits

14:49 out there.

14:50 So, when we're looking at a series

14:52 that's split one and one. Again,

14:53 obviously, we've seen power. Obviously,

14:54 we've seen consistency from the team.

14:56 What's the approach coming into today to

14:58 take the series? Stay aggressive like we

15:00 have been doing. When we play our best,

15:02 we stay up the middle. We see the count

15:04 even when we're 0-1, we still see the

15:06 count 2-0 mentally. That way we stay

15:08 aggressive and don't try to get too big.

15:10 We get into trouble when we try to hit

15:12 homers instead of just pass the torch.

15:14 Our guys are plenty strong, plenty

15:16 powerful. They're going to hit homers

15:17 naturally and doubles. All right, coach.

15:19 One word for what people can look for in

15:21 today's game.

15:22 >> Oh.

15:23 Excitement. Excitement for sure. Oh,

15:27 yeah. It's been an exciting weekend so

15:29 far and I don't think it's going to stop

15:30 tonight. Brett, all you. Hold now. Take

15:33 us home, Brett.

15:36 Coach Willie, man. He's been begging us

15:37 to get on the mic for quite some time

15:39 and finally had to reward him cuz how

15:41 well his offense has been swinging it.

15:43 The Indianapolis Clowns tied first in

15:45 all of Banana Ball in runs batted in

15:46 this year with the Loco Beach Coconuts.

15:48 I mean, the two much structure offenses

15:50 to navigate up and down and again, just

15:53 been driving in a lot of runs. You know,

15:54 second in the Banana Ball Championship

15:56 League in hits, also behind those Loco

15:57 Beach Coconuts. The Clowns arguably have

16:00 the best offense in the sport. And

16:03 again, it's not even really close

16:05 between them and Loco Beach. I don't

16:06 think anybody is sniffing them right now

16:08 through roughly almost a third in to the

16:11 2026 Banana Ball Championship League

16:14 season.

16:15 It's the Clowns. It's the Tailgaters.

16:18 And on the other side, we're going to

16:19 hear from a good friend of Banana Ball

16:21 and the current Indianapolis Clown, Matt

16:23 Wolff.

16:42 You got that magic.

16:46 >> [music]

16:53 [music]

17:00 [singing]

17:06 >> Oh, yeah. You got it.

17:12 So, don't

17:13 forget

17:14 who you are.

17:17 If you can dream

17:22 >> [music]

17:33 [music]

17:42 [music]

18:10 >> What's UP, TULSA, OKLAHOMA?

18:12 YO, YO, YO, YO, YO, HOW YOU FEELING?

18:15 >> [screaming]

18:16 >> WE JUST GOT ONE QUESTION FOR YOU. DO you

18:18 need something? ARE YOU READY TO SEE THE

18:20 ORIGINAL baseball team?

18:22 >> Yeah, do you need a little cheer?

18:24 Well, we got

18:27 Those are the Indianapolis Clowns. Such

18:30 a fun bunch. I I I think some of the

18:32 very best entertainment that we have out

18:34 of any of the six teams. [music] Brandon

18:36 and Brandon and Jerry is so, so

18:37 talented, the two hosts. And one of my

18:39 favorite introductions I love every time

18:42 we get to see. Speaking of entertaining,

18:44 perhaps one of the most entertaining

18:46 players in the history of the sport of

18:48 Bananaball. He was a banana, he was a

18:49 firefighter, now he is an Indianapolis

18:51 Clown, and he's a native of Joy,

18:53 Oklahoma.

18:55 It's our good friend, Matt Wolfe.

19:00 We might have broke a window or two at

19:01 the station.

19:02 >> [laughter]

19:04 >> But you know, that's off the record.

19:07 Indianapolis Clowns pitcher Matt Wolfe

19:09 [music] is a Bananaball veteran. But to

19:11 the newer fans, we thought it was time

19:13 to introduce you to the man who is able

19:15 to balance being the trickiest on the

19:16 mound while also actively maintaining a

19:18 firefighting career. When I'm not

19:20 playing banana ball, I'm a fireman for

19:22 Oklahoma City. I work 24-hour shifts, so

19:26 I'm on a shift, I'm off, I'm on, I'm

19:28 off, I'm on, I'm on [music] four, and

19:30 then it just repeats. So, I do the best

19:32 I can to get to as many games as

19:33 possible. I'm not I'm not able to get to

19:35 all of them, but I just try to

19:36 strategically make as many as possible.

19:38 So, yesterday I worked Thursday 7:00

19:40 a.m. I went in. 7:00 a.m. the next day,

19:42 which is this morning, I got off, and I

19:45 drove to Tulsa, and I and I played

19:46 tonight. I try to take a lot of naps,

19:49 especially [music] at home, if I can.

19:51 Yeah, just finding time to sleep, yeah,

19:52 it's a hard thing to balance, but it's

19:54 worth it to me and my family to keep

19:56 doing this. While he continuously has

19:58 [music] the support of his wife and

20:00 daughter, it's also Wolf's family at the

20:02 station that is the reason he's able to

20:03 carry out two of his biggest dreams.

20:06 It's a brotherhood, it really is.

20:08 >> [music]

20:08 >> I wouldn't be able to do this without

20:10 the guys at the station supporting me.

20:12 They give up a lot of their days to

20:14 allow me [music] to take off to come do

20:16 this. So, without them being supportive

20:18 and my family being supportive, there's

20:20 no way I would be able to do this.

20:21 [music] So, kudos to them for for

20:23 letting me do that.

20:25 To those of you watching at home, now

20:26 you know exactly why Matt Wolf is my

20:29 favorite story in all of banana ball.

20:31 And it's an extra special weekend

20:32 because one, it's the first weekend that

20:34 I get to work with him, and two, we are

20:36 in Oklahoma, right where he works, and

20:39 it is his daughter's sixth birthday

20:41 today. So, we are so happy to have Matt

20:43 Wolf. We got to see him do his thing

20:44 last night, and we get to see the rest

20:45 of the clowns do their thing tonight.

20:47 Bret Loftis, Matt Wolf, what a guy.

20:50 Wolfie, love that guy. Thank you, Matty,

20:52 so much for that piece.

20:54 Uh, you know, he's one of the trickiest

20:56 guys in the history of banana ball, and

20:57 and so great that he now gets to be a

20:59 part of the revival here in banana ball

21:02 of the Indianapolis clowns. Talk about

21:04 how tricky the tailgaters are, how

21:05 tricky the clowns are, how much they

21:07 embody the sport of Banana Ball. In

21:09 order to play our wonderful sport of

21:11 Banana Ball, we must hear about our 11

21:13 great rules. And for that, the creator

21:15 and the owner of our great sport, let's

21:17 hear from Jesse Cole.

21:21 Banana Ball is the fastest and most

21:23 entertaining show in sports. And the 11

21:26 rules guarantee the most fans first

21:28 experience every [music] second.

21:29 Unbelievable!

21:31 WELCOME TO THE BANANA BALL CHAMPIONSHIP

21:33 LEAGUE. Rule number one, win the inning,

21:36 win the point. The team that scores the

21:38 most runs in an inning wins the point.

21:40 >> IT'S A WALK-OFF WINNER

21:44 >> [cheering]

21:44 >> OH MY GOODNESS! WITH THE equalizer

21:46 point, trick plays provide the away team

21:49 an opportunity to earn a point going

21:51 into the final inning.

21:52 And in the final inning, every run

21:54 counts as a point.

21:56 Rule number two, Banana Ball has a

21:58 two-hour time limit, guaranteeing that

22:01 every game is fast-paced and

22:03 action-packed.

22:04 Rule number three, no stepping out of

22:06 the batter's box. If you do, it will

22:08 result in a strike.

22:09 >> Max stepped out of the box, and because

22:11 he stepped out of the box, that's it!

22:13 Rule number four, no bunting, cuz

22:16 bunting [music]

22:17 sucks. If you bunt, you'll be thrown out

22:19 of the game. Rule number five, batters

22:21 can steal first base.

22:23 >> Ball three, GETTING IT TAKEN OFF FOR

22:24 FIRST THROW FROM LEROY, IN TIME! RULE

22:27 number six, there's no walks. Walks are

22:31 ball four sprints. The batter can

22:33 advance as far as they want until every

22:35 position player touches the ball.

22:37 >> NO DEFENDERS HAVE TOUCHED THE BANANA

22:39 BALL. IT IS A FOUR-BASE SPRINT TO OPEN

22:42 UP the ball game. Rule number seven,

22:45 no mound visits.

22:47 Nope.

22:48 Rule number eight, foul balls caught by

22:50 a fan count as an out.

22:58 Rule number nine, the showdowns. In

23:01 showdowns, the best of the best face off

23:03 in the biggest moment. One hitter versus

23:06 one pitcher with one fielder behind him.

23:08 And the hitter has to score.

23:15 Rule number 10, the banana ball

23:16 challenge rule gives the coaches and you

23:19 the fans a chance to impact the call on

23:21 the field.

23:23 >> [cheering]

23:23 >> Rule number 11, the golden batter. Once

23:26 a game, each team can give any player an

23:28 at-bat regardless of the count.

23:30 This offers the biggest matchups on the

23:32 biggest stage.

23:43 >> [screaming]

23:44 >> And those are the rules of banana ball.

23:51 RIFF OFF!

23:53 EACH TEAM will present one

23:55 instrumentalist to go head-to-head, and

23:57 then it will be up to you, the fans, to

24:00 decide the winner.

24:02 Now taking the field, coming out of the

24:05 third base dugout, a voice so sweet, you

24:09 just WISH HE WOULD SING YOU a lullaby.

24:13 More soul than the shoes ON HIS FEET,

24:16 THE HOST OF THE INDIANAPOLIS CLOWNS,

24:19 BRANDON!

24:21 >> [cheering]

24:28 >> Joining him on the field, coming from

24:31 the first base dugout, a man WHO

24:34 HEADBANGS SO HARD IT'LL GIVE YOU A

24:37 HEADACHE.

24:38 THE ONLY ONE TO MAKE IT TO THE TOP OF

24:41 THE STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN, IT'S THE

24:43 GUITARIST OF THE TAILGATER BAND, SLOAN

24:47 LETOURNEAU!

24:51 GENTLEMEN, the riff off will begin in a

24:54 three, two, one, go!

25:01 >> [music]

25:10 [cheering]

25:50 [music]

25:54 >> Brandon and Sloan, man. A special bunch

25:56 here in the riff off. Brandon with the

25:58 locals, Sloan on the guitar. A couple

26:01 beautiful musicians here in a beautiful

26:03 sport of sand and ball playing in even

26:04 more more beautiful ballpark at 1 Oak

26:07 Field. The starting catcher though,

26:10 he's put together a beautiful season.

26:11 Catching his 13th game in game number 19

26:14 for the Texas Tailgaters. He's a

26:16 workhorse back there for the Texas

26:17 Tailgaters. HE'S THE BIGGEST, THE

26:19 LARGEST. YOU KNOW HIM AS THE QUADFATHER.

26:21 I call him TP. His name is Taj Porter.

26:24 And he caught up earlier with Maddie

26:25 Warner.

26:30 Taj Porter, you're getting ready to suit

26:32 up for your third game of the weekend.

26:33 You caught the last five for the

26:34 Tailgaters. I got halfway suited up cuz

26:37 I was going to give your legs a little

26:38 bit of a break, but admittedly you are

26:39 probably the better option for today. Um

26:42 how are the knees feeling? How's the

26:43 body feeling? Uh we're getting there,

26:45 you know. I feel fine. Um

26:48 kind of used to it. I love being back

26:50 there, so it's not really uh obviously

26:52 there's some fatigue, but when you do

26:54 what you want you when you do what you

26:55 love, it is what it is, you know. And

26:57 you're catching a lot of different

26:59 pitchers throughout the weekend. What is

27:00 your approach like with each pitcher and

27:02 what's your rapport like with each of

27:03 them? I think it's huge especially early

27:05 in the season to be able to get to know

27:07 these guys even better.

27:09 Obviously I know Christian Davis the

27:10 best I've caught him for the last 6

27:12 years, but even the new guys other guys

27:14 just get it's good to get to know them

27:16 and for them to earn trust in me early

27:18 in the season so when we do get to

27:20 October late in the season that we're on

27:22 the same page and there's no doubt

27:24 there.

27:25 Obviously we've got you and Taylor

27:26 Justice behind the plate usually, but

27:28 Taylor's been kind of holding down the

27:30 fort at first base with some trick

27:31 plays. Can we expect any trick plays

27:33 from you behind the plate today? I'm

27:35 going to I'm going to see if I can rip

27:36 something out, you know, but

27:38 Taylor is a magician over there and he's

27:41 been huge for us. So I'm going to let

27:43 him kind of you know, stick with the

27:45 tricks, but I might I might pull

27:46 something out. We'll see. All right,

27:47 well I'll get your gear back to you so

27:49 you can hopefully get ready to rip some

27:50 of those trick plays. Brett, I feel so

27:53 safe in this.

27:57 Matty protected nonetheless. Chest

28:00 guard, knee, what do they call those?

28:03 Shin guards. I played catcher growing up

28:05 couldn't come to think of it. These

28:06 three guys have suited up for each of

28:08 the tailgaters again each of the

28:10 tailgaters catchers and obviously the

28:12 captain of the Savannah Bananas Bill

28:13 Leroy caught stealing rate this year. So

28:16 the number of

28:17 would-be base runners have been nabbed

28:19 down Taj leading the Banana Ball

28:21 Championship League. He's thrown out 36

28:24 over [music] 36% of the runners that

28:26 have tried to steal on him right behind

28:28 him Bill Leroy and then Taylor Justice

28:30 third those are the top three guys in

28:32 caught stealing percentage from the

28:34 catcher position in all of Banana Ball.

28:37 The man who I believe is number one in

28:41 all of the hype intros in the grand land

28:43 of Bananaland. His name is Rhinestone

28:46 Garrett Lampert. PLEASE GET US HYPED UP,

28:49 MY FRIEND.

28:58 LADIES,

28:59 GENTLEMEN,

29:01 boys and girls, and parking lot party

29:05 people FROM AROUND

29:10 THE [screaming] WORLD.

29:12 TONIGHT, YOU AND THOUSANDS of your

29:15 friends here live, millions more

29:17 watching at home HAVE GATHERED TO

29:20 WITNESS SOMETHING THAT FRAT BOYS ACROSS

29:22 THE COUNTRY COULD ONLY ever dream of.

29:25 From parking lots to 80-ft yachts, FROM

29:29 BACKYARD GRILLS TO A STADIUM THAT

29:32 THRILLS, THE PRE-GAMERS COME FROM EVERY

29:35 CORNER OF THE GLOBE TO WITNESS THIS.

29:39 BUT, THIS is not baseball.

29:41 No, this is the arena WHERE THESE TEXAS

29:44 TWO-STEPPING, TRADITION-UPSETTING,

29:47 BIG-HIT-GETTING BALL PLAYERS AWAIT THE

29:50 OPENING OF THE GATE TO DELIVER A

29:52 TEXAS-SIZED BEATDOWN TO WHOEVER lines up

29:55 across from them. AND TONIGHT, LADIES

29:58 AND GENTLEMEN,

29:59 it looks like the Indianapolis Clowns

30:02 are about TO FIND OUT WHY YOU DON'T MESS

30:05 WITH THE GATORS.

30:10 BUT, THIS IS NOT YOUR granddad's

30:11 pastime.

30:13 THIS IS NOT JUST another night at the

30:14 ballpark. No, this game is baseball by

30:17 birth,

30:17 >> [music]

30:18 >> but it's fruit by name and an absolute

30:20 worldwide PHENOMENON BY THE GRACE OF

30:23 GOD.

30:24 SO, now is the time

30:28 for all of you here in Tulsa, Oklahoma,

30:32 TO GET UP ON YOUR FEET AND GIVE ME your

30:38 voices.

30:40 >> [cheering]

30:42 >> Because this is the greatest pregame in

30:45 sports AND IT NEVER ENDS. LADIES AND

30:47 GENTLEMEN, THIS IS BANANA

30:51 BALL.

30:54 >> [cheering]

30:56 >> FROM THE GOLDEN GRILLER, THE STARTING

30:59 LINEUP OF YOUR TEXAS TAILGATERS. THE

31:02 DESIGNATED HITTER, NUMBER NINE, NICK

31:06 LOPEZ. [screaming]

31:12 >> [music]

31:13 >> IN LEFT FIELD, NUMBER TWO, ZACH

31:17 WATSON.

31:23 THE EXTRA HITTER, number 27,

31:27 KYLE MARTINEZ.

31:35 AT THIRD BASE, number six, JORDAN

31:40 BALL.

31:40 >> [screaming]

31:47 >> AT FIRST BASE, NUMBER 85, TAYLOR

31:52 JUSTICE.

31:59 IN RIGHT FIELD, NUMBER 28, BROTHER JOSE

32:04 GONZALEZ.

32:11 AT SECOND BASE, number 11, Mac Darnold.

32:22 BEHIND THE PLATE AT CATCHER, NUMBER 26,

32:26 TAJ "THE QUADFATHER" [screaming] PORTER.

32:33 IN CENTER FIELD, number seven,

32:37 INDIANA [screaming]

32:38 STANLEY.

32:45 AT SHORTSTOP, NUMBER FIVE, JORDAN

32:49 POOSEY.

32:54 THE starting pitcher, NUMBER 12,

32:58 GARRISON

32:59 DAVIS.

33:08 >> [music]

33:12 >> LEADING THE PARTY AND CALLING THE SHOTS,

33:16 HEAD COACH JOE

33:17 MIKULIK AND ASSISTED BY COACH PINNEY AND

33:21 COACH ANDREW

33:23 FAULKNER, [singing]

33:25 the tailgate foreman.

33:35 Ladies and gentlemen, at this time we

33:37 ask that you please rise if able. Remove

33:40 your caps and join us in honoring

33:43 America with the singing of tonight's

33:44 national anthem. Please welcome to the

33:47 field, Sharon Joe.

33:51 Oh, say can you see

33:56 by the dawn's

33:59 >> [singing]

33:59 >> early light

34:02 what so proudly

34:05 we hailed

34:07 at the twilight's

34:10 last gleaming?

34:13 Whose broad stripes and bright stars

34:18 [singing]

34:18 through the perilous

34:23 fight

34:24 o'er the ramparts

34:27 we watched [singing]

34:29 were so gallantly

34:33 streaming

34:36 and the rockets

34:38 red

34:41 glare the bombs bursting

34:44 in air

34:46 gave

34:48 proof through the [singing] night

34:52 that our flag was [singing] still there.

34:58 Oh say does

35:00 >> [singing]

35:01 >> that star-spangled

35:21 and the home

35:27 of the brave.

35:32 TULSA, OKLAHOMA

35:34 GIVE IT UP FOR SHARON JONES. A rubber

35:37 match

35:38 between the Indianapolis club

35:41 and the boys in blue and orange the

35:44 Texas tailgate.

35:47 >> [music]

35:48 >> Here in the sooner state Tulsa, Oklahoma

35:53 one oak field where else would you

35:55 rather be and with us tonight here on

35:57 the Tailgaters YouTube channel.

36:03 I'm Brett Loftis voice of the Texas

36:04 Tailgaters and yet again just like we

36:06 told you at the top of the show thank

36:07 you so much for choosing to join us here

36:10 with your Saturday evening. As we'll

36:12 take a look at how the boys in blue and

36:14 orange are going to run it out there

36:15 defensively. Again just about the same

36:17 as last night. Actually exactly the same

36:20 as last night. Wide or excuse me it's

36:23 Thursday night I should say. Last night

36:24 Jason Arntt got to start out in left.

36:26 Wide he getting to start back out there

36:27 in left tonight. Indian center brother

36:29 and right. Jordan Barr, Jordan Hussein,

36:32 Mac Danford, not the second baseman

36:34 Jonathan Sunshine Louthers. Mac slotted

36:36 in there in the lineup and then Sonny

36:38 will play second base all nine innings

36:40 tonight as the designated fielder.

36:42 Taylor Justice over at first. Taj Porter

36:44 behind the dish. Christian Davis, the

36:47 man who will get the start on the bump

36:49 tonight. See all those trick plays on

36:50 there and yet again, the best trick play

36:52 duo in Banana Ball up the middle with

36:55 Jonathan Sunshine Louthers at second

36:57 base

36:57 >> [music]

36:57 >> and then with Jordan Hussein at

36:59 shortstop. What about my good friend

37:01 that's getting the start tonight for the

37:03 Texas [music] Tailgaters on the bump.

37:04 The smoothest south ball at the

37:06 tailgate. The pride of Atlanta, Georgia.

37:09 Christian Davis.

37:12 Always so cool when he and Taj get to

37:14 share a battery together. A battery they

37:16 shared together for 3 years at Southern

37:18 University.

37:19 Could see the other of that trio up here

37:21 in tonight's ballgame. Nick Wilson also

37:23 a teammate of CD's and Taj's at Southern

37:26 University. 3.55 ERA. Only eight

37:29 strikeouts this year but the most

37:30 impressive stat about my good friend CD,

37:34 he has induced 45

37:36 trick plays. Second in all of Banana

37:39 Ball and needs just two to surpass Brett

37:42 Sanchez to take the lead. But what about

37:45 the Indianapolis Clowns? The offense

37:47 they have constructed

37:49 >> [cheering]

37:50 >> is incredible and it all starts with the

37:52 turtleneck wearing man from Hattiesburg,

37:54 Mississippi, Joe Gray Jr. And then you

37:56 give it to Jackie Bradley Jr. and then

37:58 Bobby Leday and then Dale Francis Jr.

38:01 Something about the June Bugs in the top

38:03 four of that lineup. They've gotten a

38:04 hit in each of the first two games this

38:06 weekend. Nick Holsizer hit an absolute

38:08 moonshot. Karell Prime, you know him.

38:10 Chris Burgess, you like Peyton getting

38:11 the start at second base. He started all

38:13 three games in the series, three

38:15 different positions. Third base

38:16 Thursday, catcher last [music] night,

38:18 second base here today. Brian Danbro

38:19 back in the lineup and Kirkland Banks,

38:22 KB, rounds out one through 10 there for

38:26 the clowns. Bart's down there by the

38:28 grill. Mix got a lighter on it.

38:31 Looks like the Tailgaters coaches are

38:33 ready to fire it up down there.

38:37 So, we'll send it down to light the

38:39 grill

38:42 with coach Bart.

38:46 >> [music]

38:52 >> Potentially.

38:54 Coach Bart does not want to speak into

38:55 the microphone.

38:57 A kangaroo

38:59 from the Sydney Olympics in 2000.

39:01 There's more to that kangaroo story.

39:03 We'll tell you in a moment. All right,

39:04 coach Bart, here we go.

39:06 All right, Tulsa. In banana ball, we

39:08 like to say start the clock. But in

39:11 Tailgater country and in the sooner

39:13 state, we're going to say light the

39:14 grill. So, help me out on three and say

39:16 light the grill. Ready? 1 2 3

39:23 SHOWTIME.

39:24 >> IT'S RUBBER match time here in Tulsa,

39:28 Oklahoma.

39:29 Tailgaters won it Thursday night 4 to 3.

39:31 Clowns won it last night 5 to 3.

39:34 And now two guys are really good

39:36 friends, CD and Joe Gray Jr.

39:44 First pitch here, 6:59 Central Time in

39:47 Tulsa.

39:52 2 and 0 to Joe Gray Jr.

39:54 4 for 10 this weekend. He had a ya-ya on

39:56 Thursday night. Three home runs for Joe

39:58 this year.

40:00 First strike of the night fouled back

40:01 into the net.

40:03 Another two-hit ballgame last night as

40:05 well.

40:06 Had a single and a double.

40:11 Out to right, brother.

40:14 Tracking back on it, loses the cowboy

40:16 hat. Oh, can't make the play.

40:19 And it hops over the fence.

40:22 As that'll be a questionable ground rule

40:24 double.

40:26 Look at here.

40:27 My good friend Riley Turner, official

40:28 scorer.

40:35 As Brother

40:37 not able to find it.

40:40 As that'll be a ground rule double.

40:44 Yeah, that was a confusing one to score

40:46 nonetheless.

40:48 Goes over the wall. He hit it that far.

40:50 Oh, Jackie takes one off the shoulder.

40:53 Showed in the ballgame last night.

40:55 Continues to get on base. That'll now

40:57 make it all but two games that Jackie

40:59 has reached base in this year.

41:03 Yeah, right right on that right shoulder

41:05 blade.

41:06 It's a slider that got away from CD.

41:09 And you definitely don't want to have

41:11 two guys on for this guy in Bobby LaDay.

41:14 That's why.

41:15 Why did he got to come up throwing?

41:17 Joe Gray Jr.'s got great wheels.

41:20 As coach Fox will hold him up

41:22 at third. Same thing Brett Sanchez

41:24 actually faced on Friday night. Joe Gray

41:26 Jr., Jackie Bradley Jr., and Bobby LaDay

41:28 all reached to begin the first. And the

41:30 bases were loaded for this guy hitting

41:32 in the cleanup spot in Bill Francis Jr.

41:36 Little hip hop hooray.

41:38 What y'all know about OPP?

41:41 Talking about Naughty by Nature.

41:44 Couple songs

41:46 of that early '90s rap group.

41:48 Splash trying to get the fans into it. I

41:49 I love how fans first this guy is, how

41:51 good he's been swinging a stick as well.

41:52 Three hits in this series. Skyed out to

41:55 left.

41:56 Why did he GIVE IT A CHASE? AT THE

41:58 FENCE!

42:00 AND IT'S OFF the fence.

42:02 Everybody had to hold up. That might be

42:05 the longest single in Banana Ball this

42:07 year, but it will plate the first run of

42:09 the ballgame for the clowns.

42:14 And now

42:16 Gage, Kobe, and Clark have something to

42:18 force at home plate.

42:23 >> [music]

42:28 >> Oh. Oh. Yeah.

42:31 Get into it, hot sauce.

42:36 >> [music]

42:45 >> Single ladies. Riley Turner, our

42:47 official scorer, knows a thing or two

42:49 about the single ladies.

42:51 Splash thought it was going out. Thought

42:53 it was going. Everybody here in Tulsa

42:54 thought it was going. And Waddy almost

42:55 made catch of the year scaling the

42:57 fence.

42:58 So, we went double, hit by pitch,

43:00 single, single to begin the ball game.

43:03 As Nico Holsclaw fouls the first one

43:06 off. Oh and one.

43:09 >> [music]

43:10 >> I believe so. No. This is an errand ball

43:12 in play. I'm sorry. There it goes.

43:15 I was looking down at my score book and

43:17 seen him hit an errand ball just laying

43:18 there. Nico, one and oh.

43:20 Longest home run I've seen him hit an

43:21 errand ball he hit last night.

43:24 And again, we talked so much about this

43:25 guy's power. Talked to to you about his

43:27 BP the whole year. But last night it was

43:30 put into fruition in the actual game.

43:33 Obviously, this clowns offense is legit

43:34 as well. Brett Sanchez, Chris Clark, and

43:36 Christian Davis the best starting

43:38 rotation of any team in Hannibal. And

43:40 they've all went through the ringer

43:41 facing this clowns lineup.

43:44 Hit up the elevator, Shadd.

43:46 Taylor Justice

43:49 able to find it finally for out number

43:51 one.

43:54 That is the first time this year

43:57 that the Tailgaters

43:58 have allowed four base runners to reach

44:01 to begin a ball game without recording

44:02 an out.

44:05 That just goes ahead and tells you how

44:06 good

44:09 this Clown's offense is.

44:11 Got this guy hitting in the six hole,

44:12 one for five last night, Mr. K'Waun

44:14 Prior.

44:16 I love the routine of K'Waun on a game

44:18 day.

44:19 >> [music]

44:21 >> Stung the center.

44:23 Indeed.

44:25 Has it at the track for out number two.

44:28 JB Jaden Bobby LeDale Boatag up. Put

44:31 another one on the board there for the

44:32 Clowns here in the first. Sack fly and

44:34 RBI for K'Waun Prior.

44:38 >> [music]

44:43 >> Two runs here for these Clowns. Had the

44:47 bases loaded and none out.

44:49 If CD could get out number three here in

44:51 form of Chris Burgess, I'm sure you'd

44:52 trade that. Getting out of that bases

44:55 loaded jam with only giving up two.

44:57 Bobby LeDale at third.

44:59 Splash at first, Dale Francis Jr.

45:02 After he hit that one off the wall.

45:04 Probably like 380 feet out there to left

45:06 center. Wally almost made a great jump

45:08 and grab, couldn't get to it.

45:10 Chris Burgess started behind the plate

45:12 game one of the series, did not play

45:14 last night. Eli Peyton

45:16 made his catching debut [music]

45:18 in Savannah Bananas.

45:19 Played pretty well back there as well.

45:22 Eli on deck here. Oh, Daniel Foster,

45:24 last night's starting pitcher getting

45:25 into

45:28 ball and two strikes.

45:37 Ooh.

45:40 Reggie Liggins, our home plate umpire

45:41 here tonight. Seth Markham at first,

45:43 Doug McClerk at second, Andy Udy over at

45:45 third.

45:50 Ooh, Burgess at stung a Clown. It was

45:53 Mo'ne Davis.

45:57 They're going to sit Mo'ne down in the

45:58 chair over there.

46:00 I think she's okay.

46:03 Oh, she doesn't want to sit down. She

46:04 wants to stay up.

46:07 One of the dangers here being so close

46:09 to fair play.

46:11 2-2 from CD.

46:13 In the sky right side won't leave the

46:15 infield cut Taylor Justice Ted Drill

46:18 book it to himself. First trick play of

46:21 the ball game belongs to Mr. Justice and

46:24 that'll conclude matters here.

46:28 In the top of the first.

46:30 Bobby La Day a single Del Francis Jr. an

46:33 RBI single.

46:35 Again, almost was a grand slam escaping

46:37 a little bit of danger there.

46:39 Nonetheless.

46:40 And then a sack fly and RBI for Kale

46:42 Prime.

46:45 Indianapolis Clowns, how will they line

46:47 it up defensively here tonight? Again,

46:49 very similar to what we've seen last

46:51 couple of nights. Biggest difference Eli

46:53 Peyton at second base, Jaylen Vasquez we

46:55 presume we'll see at some point in the

46:57 ball game tonight. Joe Gray Jr. Jackie

46:59 Bradley Jr. Nick Go whole size and rank

47:01 to left. Same exact outfield they had

47:03 last night. Obviously, Bobby and

47:04 Kirkland good friends on the left side

47:06 of that infield Chris Burgess game one

47:08 catcher will also be the game three

47:10 catcher here tonight for the

47:11 Indianapolis Clowns. And how about that

47:14 right-hander on the bump?

47:16 Making the start for the Clowns Brett

47:19 Maddock.

47:21 A registered nurse

47:23 before he came to Banana Ball.

47:26 Worked about 4 months as a registered

47:27 nurse and then the Clowns took him in

47:30 the first ever Banana Ball player draft

47:31 and he said, "Well, I guess I'll go back

47:32 playing ball." NAIA guy.

47:36 And again, he's he's really impressed.

47:37 6.75 ERA you look at that and you think

47:40 regular

47:41 baseball maybe not the best ERA of all

47:44 time, but here in Banana Ball that's

47:45 actually below league average. His ERA

47:48 plus would be over 100 if you're into

47:50 that type of thing at home. How about

47:51 this lineup for the Tailgaters?

47:54 1 through 10 pretty much going to be the

47:56 same thing every single night. With this

47:58 guy hitting lead off, you feel very good

48:00 about it.

48:01 He's somewhere. Oh, he's standing in the

48:03 left-handed batter's box. It's Nick

48:04 Lopez.

48:10 Lopi

48:12 stung

48:13 into the concourse and found. [music]

48:16 Scored three runs last night

48:19 for the Texas Tailgater, did Mr. Lopi.

48:25 You get a guy that hitting 250 for him

48:29 would be like hitting a buck 50 for

48:30 anybody else.

48:32 Said it the other night, he wakes up and

48:33 hits 300. That's just what Nick Lopez

48:35 does. He's done it since he was at

48:37 Southern Cal, did it at Kentucky, and

48:38 did it last year for the Tailgaters in

48:40 his rookie season up at Adam Ball.

48:43 Inevitably, though,

48:44 in our great sport,

48:47 everyone's going to go through a slump.

48:49 And right now, Lopi's been working a lot

48:51 with Kyle Martin trying to get out of

48:52 his slump.

48:54 Into sweet Lou, hit off a window and

48:55 ricocheted back in the lower bowl.

48:58 Also, coincidentally enough, Brandon

48:59 Pennington been helping Lopi out a lot

49:01 with his swing.

49:05 Little late here again. Fans have an

49:07 opportunity.

49:09 Mhm, not to be.

49:13 Coach Pennington, want to shout him out.

49:14 I'm sure he's watching.

49:16 He and his lovely bride, Ms. Taylor,

49:18 earned her second master's degree today.

49:22 Penny was there to celebrate with her

49:23 and the family. Congratulations to Ms.

49:25 Taylor.

49:28 First game Coach Pennington's ever

49:29 missed in Tailgaters history. Lopi will

49:32 file that one back to the net.

49:37 >> [music]

49:38 >> Tailgaters, Lopez, Zach Watson, and Kyle

49:41 Martin

49:43 here in the bottom of the first, 1-2-3.

49:45 Right side, Wolfie. Oh, loses it behind

49:49 the back.

49:50 Trick play miss

49:52 to begin the offensive [music] night for

49:54 the Tailgaters.

49:56 That's how Nick Lopez reached to begin

49:58 the bottom of the first last night

50:00 and route to a first inning win.

50:05 Tough play to make there.

50:08 Now Zack Watson

50:14 poked in the sky

50:18 into a sweep, cannot be caught.

50:20 >> [music]

50:22 >> Wally back on the right side of things

50:23 here.

50:25 Two hit ballgame last night, another

50:26 good one tonight, put him over the 300

50:28 threshold.

50:28 >> [music]

50:30 >> Joe Great Jr., what you got for us,

50:32 Cowboy Joe?

50:34 Out number one, he says.

50:38 Clowns not an aggressive trick play team

50:41 by any means.

50:43 They clearly have not been this year,

50:45 only 10 trick plays over the last two

50:47 nights. So far in the series, the

50:49 Tailgaters out trick played them 30 to

50:52 10. The Tailgaters have gotten 15 in

50:54 each of the first two games of this

50:55 series.

50:56 There are some live babies on the field.

51:00 And Kyle Martin is standing out in front

51:02 of second base.

51:04 What do we have here?

51:09 >> [music]

51:14 >> This goes out to moms out there. HAPPY

51:15 MOTHER'S DAY.

51:21 >> [music]

51:26 [music and singing]

51:31 [music]

51:38 [music]

51:38 [singing]

51:44 >> WOW.

51:45 MR. MOM.

51:48 And those are live actual children

51:49 [music] that that their parents

51:52 volunteer Jimmy Lewis, Brett Sanchez,

51:54 and Jason Art to look after.

51:57 Wow.

51:59 I don't know what's more impressive, the

52:01 walk-up or the fact that those three

52:03 were the one to look after those

52:04 children.

52:05 Nonetheless,

52:07 Kyle Martin, honoring all the mothers.

52:09 Happy early Mother's Day to all those

52:11 out there. Happy Mother's Day to my

52:12 mother, Heather. I know she's watching

52:14 back home as well.

52:17 It's K Mart. We mentioned that purple

52:19 arm sleeve he's wearing. He told me last

52:20 night it's his mother's favorite color.

52:23 Well, he wore it last night, wearing it

52:24 again here tonight with the pink spikes

52:26 on.

52:27 K Mart, left field, Nico

52:32 has it on the track.

52:34 Ah.

52:36 Thought we were going to take an early

52:37 visit to the action tonight, but

52:38 nonetheless, just a long out number two.

52:48 >> [music]

52:49 >> Jordan Bar.

52:50 Hitless in this series.

52:54 And his average has dipped below 400 for

52:56 the first time in a month.

52:59 Albeit, 394.

53:05 Brett Maddux quickly ahead here, no

53:06 balls two strikes.

53:12 Try to go back to the arsenal off-speed

53:14 there.

53:15 Brett's never going to blow by you with

53:16 his velocity, but his off-speed stuff's

53:18 the reason the clowns took him on the

53:20 back end of the draft. Right there,

53:22 blows the doors off of Jordan Bar. Brett

53:25 Maddux, a scoreless first, and the

53:27 Indianapolis Clowns leading one to

53:29 nothing.

53:34 Last night during the rain delay, Brett

53:36 Sanchez,

53:38 excuse me, not during the rain delay,

53:41 during Mac Dafford's walk-up, there was

53:42 water.

53:44 Where did that water come from though,

53:45 you may be wondering.

53:47 Well,

53:48 Sanchie,

53:50 over on the side.

53:52 And and I'm hearing

53:54 that there is something going down below

53:57 with Matty Warren and Sanchie right now.

53:59 Hey, Brett Loftis here with uh Brett

54:01 Sanchez. Now, we all saw Mac Danford's

54:03 walk-up, easily probably the walk-up of

54:05 the year, but the man behind the scenes,

54:07 the pressure-filled situation is the man

54:09 on the hose. What was going through your

54:11 mind when they told you that that was

54:13 going to be your role in the walk-up

54:14 yesterday? When they told me I was in

54:16 charge of the hose, I couldn't have been

54:17 happier cuz I got to get Mac soaking wet

54:20 and I didn't miss a drop. Every drop of

54:23 water that came out of this hose hit Mac

54:24 in the face.

54:26 It was perfect, but I need to know the

54:27 technique cuz there's clearly a strategy

54:29 here. So, can you show us kind of what

54:30 the technique here was? So,

54:32 the hose had water in it the first time.

54:35 Obviously, there's no water in it this

54:36 time, but you kink it, you put your

54:38 thumb right here, and you just

54:42 spray.

54:44 But, Mac was expecting it and it still

54:46 blinded him. Jimmy is now soaking wet.

54:52 Didn't miss a drop. Didn't miss a drop.

54:54 Master of his craft, this guy right

54:56 here, Brett.

54:59 Sanchie,

55:00 he had a great outing on Thursday night.

55:02 Good with the water hose. Another guy is

55:03 having a

55:04 good season this year, Christian Davis.

55:08 Hello, my friend. How are you?

55:12 I'm doing much better now I can hear

55:13 your voice. Always. So, can I get this

55:16 started?

55:17 There we go. Give me a trick play this

55:19 time. What's he got here?

55:21 Ah, here we go. Can I get a bucket from

55:23 UCD?

55:24 Bucket. Buckets! For out number one here

55:27 in the second, Jonathan Sunshine Luters.

55:29 Leading the league in trick plays.

55:31 All right, so what's your thoughts about

55:32 the first inning, Brett? Um, Clowns have

55:34 a really good lineup, CD.

55:35 >> They do. They do. I left a couple of

55:37 things up.

55:38 I I mean

55:42 The only bad pitch I thought you threw,

55:43 and I can tell you this cuz you're my

55:45 friend, was the hit by pitch to Jackie.

55:46 I know that one just got away from you a

55:47 little bit.

55:49 Uh

55:50 yeah. We tried to We tried to go split

55:52 on that one.

55:53 You got Nico to pop up. Yeah. Which

55:55 after what he did last night was a big

55:56 time win. The 2-0 to Dancer around.

56:00 I'll be honest, that was a strike, CD.

56:01 Yeah. We'll go back in there.

56:06 There we go.

56:07 >> It was the grunt, CD. It was the grunt.

56:08 >> go.

56:10 I could I could use another grunt.

56:11 America could as well.

56:17 There we go.

56:17 >> It's the grunt, Christian Davis.

56:21 >> All right, what do you want right here?

56:22 Ooh, I'm thinking fastball up and in to

56:25 Brian Dancer. I think you might get

56:27 yourself a punch here. Two-seam or

56:28 four-seam?

56:29 Two-seam. Let's get some run on that.

56:34 Here we go.

56:37 What?

56:38 What?

56:42 Reggie!

56:44 Reggie!

56:46 Now, Reggie Ligons, you had him in the

56:48 swag when you were at Southern. I know

56:49 you guys have a pretty good pretty good

56:51 relationship there.

56:53 Me and Reggie go way back.

56:55 And it was funny. I was to walk up after

56:57 Yeah, it's Kirkland Banks. Talk us

56:59 through this. Just your boy right here.

57:00 Talk us through this.

57:01 >> boy.

57:02 I see you Hold on one second, Brett.

57:06 Good.

57:07 I think I had too much movement, Brett.

57:09 Uh anyways, but now Brett,

57:11 Kirkland Banks, that's my boy.

57:13 Uh whenever we're at Savannah, we always

57:14 hang out together.

57:16 And I knew I wasn't going to hit a

57:17 double yesterday. But he got that when

57:19 he hit that ball in the gap, all I was

57:21 hit all I was saying was we're not going

57:22 to hit a double. We're not going to hit

57:23 a double. Then he got another hit. I was

57:25 like, we're definitely not going to hit

57:26 a hit a double. So, I got to get him

57:28 today. I need a ground ball double play.

57:30 You know, we had say five.

57:35 We we had KB miked up last night. Can

57:37 you give us your best KB impression

57:38 before you you throw to him here?

57:41 All right. So, yesterday

57:42 hold on we got flash on first.

57:44 Let's see if you got my best KB.

57:46 He literally today he was like, man I

57:49 don't know if I got this walk up today

57:50 man.

57:51 >> [laughter]

57:54 >> Oh, there we go. He's like I don't know

57:56 if I got this walk up today man. What

57:58 did you just throw him right there? That

57:59 was change up. Yep.

58:01 Tell me what you thought about that walk

58:02 up.

58:05 Yep, you already know.

58:06 >> [laughter]

58:06 >> No balls and two strikes. Not a first

58:09 pitch hitter to KB.

58:12 Oh, watch out banana ball. Tash, thank

58:13 you. I'm always ready. Can you tell Tash

58:15 I said thank you thank you thank you?

58:17 In a moment obviously of course.

58:19 Flash is just dancing around a little

58:20 bit. I'll help you eyes and ears on him.

58:22 Ooh, yes CD.

58:27 Yeah, you know. All right, so KB's

58:29 leaning right? Yeah, definitely. All

58:31 right. He's behind your fastball.

58:43 Wow.

58:44 Hey, that was a good out by KB. Yeah, it

58:46 was a good out.

58:47 Trying to change the line of sight here.

58:52 I'd love a change up. Another one? I'd

58:54 love a change up, yeah.

58:56 I think he's going to roll over 6-4-3.

58:57 Fastball up.

59:00 Got a play.

59:02 What we got here? Jordan and Jordan left

59:04 side.

59:06 Ted drill. BUCKET BUCKET CD.

59:13 I hate to say this with you on the

59:15 microphone, but I must. You now lead the

59:17 banana ball championship league in trick

59:19 plays induced yet again. Thank you

59:20 brother.

59:21 That's huge. Now we got Joe Gray up.

59:23 Let's have some fun.

59:27 That was a double officially by the way

59:28 first in case you're wondering at home.

59:32 And that's a strike. I don't care what

59:34 anybody says.

59:37 Wow, Reggie's missed two on you here.

59:38 >> Yeah. I don't think Reggie likes me a

59:40 lot today.

59:40 >> [laughter]

59:42 >> Oh man, Taj is giving a little dance

59:44 here to Cowboy Joe, another one of your

59:45 good friends.

59:49 Woo! Tell you what, you put me in a room

59:51 with Kirkland Banks, Joe Gray Jr., and

59:53 Christian Davis, I'd be happy for the

59:54 rest of my life.

59:59 It's the grunt. It's the grunt.

1:00:02 >> I know you love to do some trick plays.

1:00:03 I want you to strike him out here. All

1:00:05 right, I need it, too.

1:00:06 I need the best pitcher today right

1:00:07 here.

1:00:16 Got it. Flash is not leaning on you at

1:00:18 all tonight. Oh, he already know. What's

1:00:19 the count? Two-two? Yeah, you got two

1:00:21 balls, two strikes, two outs here. I got

1:00:22 to go after him right here.

1:00:30 Flash to go oh, Taj has got him. Taj had

1:00:33 him by a mile.

1:00:35 >> [cheering]

1:00:38 >> Oh, Flash trying to get out of it. City,

1:00:40 GIVE IT TO HIM.

1:00:42 YEAH.

1:00:43 >> [cheering]

1:00:44 >> ATTABOY, CHRISTIAN DAVIS. A SCORELESS

1:00:46 TOP OF THE SECOND. HUH.

1:00:48 Here we go.

1:00:50 Here we go. Hey, I think we got to talk

1:00:51 more, huh? I think we I think so. That

1:00:53 was a zero, right? I love you, CD. CD.

1:00:55 out. Hell yeah.

1:00:57 Thank you, brother. Lost this. LOVE YOU.

1:00:59 >> NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE WORLD'S LARGEST

1:01:01 MILF RACE. HELLO, OKLAHOMA. This is your

1:01:03 reminder that Mother's Day is tomorrow.

1:01:07 And so, we decided to celebrate the best

1:01:09 way we know how, and joining me, I have

1:01:11 33 moms in left field, which means IT'S

1:01:15 TIME FOR THE MILF RACE.

1:01:19 THE MOMS IN LEFT field race works like

1:01:21 this. All 33 of these moms are going to

1:01:23 try and run through that finish line to

1:01:25 see who will be the hottest mom in all

1:01:28 of Tulsa. LET'S GET READY TO CELEBRATE

1:01:31 MOTHER'S DAY IN 3, 2, 1, GO!

1:01:37 THE MOMS are off.

1:01:40 SOME MOVING MUCH FASTER THAN OTHERS.

1:01:44 IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE.

1:01:46 >> [cheering]

1:01:48 >> LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE WINNER OF THE

1:01:50 MILF RACE.

1:01:51 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

1:02:06 >> [music]

1:02:12 >> Happy Mother's Day to all.

1:02:17 And how else would you celebrate

1:02:19 than the world's largest MILF race?

1:02:23 Brett Maddock

1:02:26 steps back on the bump.

1:02:29 >> [music]

1:02:29 >> Getting a guy who was an NAIA guy,

1:02:32 coming here to Monadnock.

1:02:34 Think about that. The locker room

1:02:35 that took Jackie Bradley Jr. first

1:02:37 overall as it was a clear MILF race win.

1:02:44 You have a guy in Brett Maddock

1:02:46 who played at McPherson,

1:02:49 Mercy College, and finished up at Kansas

1:02:51 Wesleyan.

1:02:52 >> [music]

1:02:53 >> Taken in the ninth round by those clubs.

1:02:57 Coach Fox has got Ooh, well.

1:02:59 Okay, Reggie. Oh and one to Taylor

1:03:01 Justice.

1:03:04 He has dipped below .400 for the first

1:03:06 time in a long time as well.

1:03:08 Again, .390.

1:03:11 He and Jordan Bartles still pacing the

1:03:13 Tailgaters in batting average.

1:03:15 Ball and two strikes, Brett Maddock

1:03:17 again.

1:03:18 He's not been a guy who started too many

1:03:19 ball games this year.

1:03:22 It's Taylor Justice. IF IT'S FAIR, IT'S

1:03:25 GONE, BUT IT'S UNFORTUNATELY way foul.

1:03:32 >> [music]

1:03:36 >> Ooh, almost got Taylor to go. Chris

1:03:38 Burgess is ready to throw it around.

1:03:43 We'll see.

1:03:44 Taylor did not go, so he will live to

1:03:46 see another pitch. I don't know what

1:03:48 that hat is that Jimmy Lewis has on.

1:03:50 I'm really trying to figure that one

1:03:51 out.

1:03:53 Jimmy had it on. It's bedazzled.

1:03:55 Sparkles and whatnot.

1:03:57 I'm not saying it's not stylish, I'm

1:03:59 just saying I

1:04:01 I want to know what you guys think at

1:04:02 home about that hat.

1:04:04 Got him.

1:04:06 Second strikeout of the ballgame for

1:04:08 Brett Maddock as he does some kind of

1:04:09 shitty shake.

1:04:17 >> [music]

1:04:18 >> His first career Banana Ball start on

1:04:20 the bump. Going pretty well so far.

1:04:23 Brother

1:04:25 fouled out of play.

1:04:27 I was talking to Brother a lot the other

1:04:28 day just how

1:04:32 he's really [music] starting to

1:04:34 be

1:04:35 that guy. Is Jackie going to give it

1:04:36 some chase?

1:04:38 Jumped [music] back in on it. Oh, trick

1:04:40 play missed. Gets away from Jackie.

1:04:44 Brother's easily going to get to third

1:04:45 if not beyond. Nick holds [music] him up

1:04:47 as he throws finally back into the

1:04:48 infield.

1:04:50 Mhm.

1:04:51 The second trick play missed tonight

1:04:54 for the Clowns.

1:04:57 And that

1:04:59 that could be a big time miss.

1:05:03 Putting now the inning-winning run on

1:05:04 third. [music]

1:05:09 Infield in for Macadoo.

1:05:12 You got to put one in the air in the

1:05:13 outfield. Tailgaters tie this ball game

1:05:15 up at [music] one point a piece.

1:05:22 That'll do the trick, too.

1:05:24 An RBI walk-off single for Magadoodle

1:05:27 as the boys in blue and orange tie this

1:05:30 ball game up at one point a piece.

1:05:34 First hit of the night turns in the

1:05:36 first point of the night. AND JORDAN

1:05:38 BARTH,

1:05:40 SPEAK to the people.

1:06:23 So, if I may wax poetically for a moment

1:06:25 about this.

1:06:26 Last year, the Tailgaters had a run

1:06:29 silly that blew up on social media. It's

1:06:31 the most viewed Tailgaters video on many

1:06:33 different platforms. It is

1:06:36 those the horses in the back

1:06:39 and you see the guys were dancing there

1:06:41 and whatnot. Yep, Mac walked it off.

1:06:43 That's great.

1:06:44 But, what we just seen in that run

1:06:45 silly, that's called plussing the

1:06:46 experience, lady and gentlemen. There's

1:06:48 a video on TikTok [music]

1:06:49 that Brandon Pennington had posted a few

1:06:51 weeks ago and it was of Jordan Barth in

1:06:54 a state show doing that exact thing and

1:06:56 then the horses in the back, silly, as

1:06:57 well. [music] That is some Tailgaters

1:06:58 lore for you on that run silly. More

1:07:00 Tailgaters lore for you. How good they

1:07:02 are in trick plays this year. Trick play

1:07:04 rate just means how many trick plays

1:07:06 you're averaging in a ball game. The

1:07:08 Tailgaters averaging nearly two and a

1:07:10 half more than the second best [music]

1:07:12 team being those Savannah Bananas.

1:07:17 Christian Davis

1:07:19 spoke to CD.

1:07:21 I think we have to continue to speak to

1:07:22 CD.

1:07:24 >> [cheering]

1:07:26 >> Not because he still has a microphone on

1:07:27 him, but because

1:07:29 threw up a scoreless frame there in the

1:07:30 second after giving up two in the first.

1:07:33 Top of the order yet again.

1:07:37 Here for the Clowns.

1:07:39 Joe Gray Jr. will lead off this inning.

1:07:43 He led off the ballgame with a ground

1:07:44 rule double.

1:07:46 Taj is waving him to come up to the

1:07:47 plate.

1:07:51 Oh, Taj is having a good old time with

1:07:53 the Clowns dugout.

1:07:55 As there you see aura personified in

1:07:57 Jordan Hussein.

1:07:59 >> [cheering]

1:08:06 [cheering]

1:08:06 >> Seen a lot of guys, whether it's

1:08:08 right-handed hitters or left-handed

1:08:09 hitters,

1:08:12 been a little late tonight lining up

1:08:13 down the right field and left field

1:08:15 [music] line.

1:08:18 1-1 ballgame, top of the third.

1:08:21 We have a 1-1 count as well here.

1:08:23 None out. Ball and two now.

1:08:26 As

1:08:27 there's our score bug back.

1:08:31 Great folks in Savannah, Georgia holding

1:08:33 it down for us tonight.

1:08:35 Arch Pingle, the director here.

1:08:38 There's a bird on the field out between

1:08:39 Sunshine and Taylor Justice at second.

1:08:43 >> [cheering]

1:08:47 >> 2-2 runs and four.

1:08:49 Taj had a good frame attempt there,

1:08:51 couldn't get it.

1:08:56 There's the bird.

1:08:57 That's about

1:08:59 15 ft to the left of Sunshine, I

1:09:01 believe.

1:09:02 Joey Junior

1:09:04 poked it right. Sonny going after it.

1:09:06 Sonny! OH, YES!

1:09:09 A BASKET CATCH FROM an animal's BEST

1:09:12 DEFENSIVE SECOND BASEMAN. And out number

1:09:15 one here in the third.

1:09:22 And the bird approves.

1:09:28 That's a tough play.

1:09:30 Sunshine makes it look oh so easy, man.

1:09:34 Jackie Bradley Junior behind on the

1:09:36 fastball 0-1.

1:09:38 JBJ hit by a pitch, first plate

1:09:39 appearance tonight.

1:09:40 Mention his incredible weekend he's

1:09:42 having this far.

1:09:44 Five hits

1:09:46 in 11 plate appearances.

1:09:50 The 0-2 to him.

1:09:52 Got him!

1:09:53 Christian Davis first strikeout of the

1:09:55 ballgame comes against JBJ and out

1:09:59 number two here in the third.

1:10:09 BOBBY LADAY! [screaming]

1:10:12 WHAT HE WOO! A BACKFLIP CATCH FOR OUT

1:10:16 NUMBER THREE!

1:10:19 IN 2 MINUTES AND 9 SECONDS, THREE UP,

1:10:23 THREE down for CD.

1:10:30 And now we'll send it down to the field

1:10:32 for Bananas Foster with Casey Barker.

1:10:37 Foster, Casey Barker.

1:10:44 Across the United States, there are over

1:10:46 400,000 children and teens in foster

1:10:49 care without a permanent home.

1:10:51 To raise awareness and support this

1:10:52 community, we created Bananas Foster,

1:10:55 the official nonprofit of Bananas

1:10:57 Foster.

1:10:58 Our organization is dedicated to

1:11:00 celebrating those in the foster care

1:11:02 community while educating and inspiring

1:11:04 others to get involved.

1:11:06 Tonight, we are celebrating the Dawson

1:11:09 family.

1:11:10 Kela and John began their foster care

1:11:12 journey 6 years ago. They are fierce

1:11:15 advocates for the kiddos in their home

1:11:17 as well as the foster care community as

1:11:20 a whole.

1:11:21 They extend their impact by mentoring

1:11:23 other foster families and raising

1:11:25 awareness for the foster care community.

1:11:28 In the last 6 years, they have welcomed

1:11:31 eight kiddos into their home.

1:11:33 Fans, please help US CELEBRATE THIS

1:11:35 INCREDIBLE FAMILY FOR MAKING A

1:11:36 DIFFERENCE RIGHT HERE IN YOUR COMMUNITY.

1:11:40 >> [cheering]

1:11:59 [music]

1:12:05 [music]

1:12:10 [music]

1:12:15 [cheering]

1:12:18 >> What a way here in game three to honor

1:12:21 such a

1:12:22 special family in the Dawson family for

1:12:25 our final Bananas Foster family tonight

1:12:27 here in Tulsa, Oklahoma this weekend. If

1:12:29 you want to support Bananas Foster as

1:12:32 always, text bunch to 5015.

1:12:35 Also, as Bananas Foster just put in chat

1:12:37 here on YouTube, Casey Barker, her final

1:12:41 time

1:12:42 and her last celebration of her

1:12:44 internship here with Bananas Foster.

1:12:46 Casey, such a great run here in in the

1:12:49 first nearly third of the season with

1:12:51 Bananas Foster. So great out there on

1:12:53 the field. So great taking care of these

1:12:54 families. Did a great great job here

1:12:57 today. AND LOOK WHO IT IS.

1:13:00 YOU GUYS MAY NOT BE able to see him, but

1:13:01 coach Bart has brought me some hot dogs.

1:13:05 You you may you may put that headset on

1:13:06 actually, Bart. Why not? You know, it's

1:13:09 funny you come up here now. Fisher

1:13:10 Polidor, you know, he's been up here

1:13:12 with the last last few nights. And here

1:13:14 you're going to have to take the hat

1:13:15 off, Bart. You got to take You got to

1:13:17 dump the hat. I'm going to help you fix

1:13:19 this. So this is going to go over here.

1:13:20 This is going to go over this. You're

1:13:22 getting there. I think you put this on

1:13:24 backwards actually. I'm trying to help

1:13:25 Bart here, guys. Bart, while we're

1:13:27 fixing this, there's a button over

1:13:28 there. You can press it. It's going to

1:13:30 make you go live. So you're going to put

1:13:32 that headset on.

1:13:36 All right, Bart. You got me now? Are we

1:13:37 live?

1:13:38 >> We're live right now.

1:13:40 Hey Banana Nation, Banana Ball Nation.

1:13:42 How are you? Banana Nation? Banana Ball

1:13:44 >> Tailgater Nation. Bart, come on, Bart.

1:13:47 We're all part of the Banana Ball family

1:13:48 though. True story. The biggest, the

1:13:50 largest, 0 and 1.

1:13:53 You bought me like 17 hot dogs up here.

1:13:56 Well, you know, brother, it's not all

1:13:57 about you. I figured we would [music]

1:13:58 spread the love. Maybe there's some

1:13:59 other folks up here, these hard-working

1:14:01 individuals that bring Banana Ball to

1:14:02 the masses. They need a hot dog as well.

1:14:05 You plus the experience. That's what I

1:14:06 try to do on a daily. Taz!

1:14:09 And I'll tell you what.

1:14:10 >> Jackie Bradley Jr. has it for out number

1:14:13 one.

1:14:14 so good.

1:14:17 Great swing by Taz, but Jackie just

1:14:19 glides to the baseball.

1:14:20 >> He does. He gets the most unbelievable

1:14:22 route. Almost like he was a former big

1:14:23 league all-star.

1:14:25 You know, 2016, he was an AL all-star.

1:14:29 Brett Maddux, I tell you what, for a guy

1:14:30 whose velo is never going to light up

1:14:32 the charts, Bart, has been really good

1:14:33 tonight, too. I'll tell you what, his

1:14:34 college coach, Bill Neale at Kansas

1:14:35 Wesleyan, I had a conversation with him

1:14:37 before I coached against him. I coached

1:14:38 against that school for four years and

1:14:40 raved about him. Said, "Won't light up

1:14:41 the gun, but he wins."

1:14:44 He's won so far tonight.

1:14:46 Only giving up one run. It was that

1:14:47 walk-off single that [music] turned into

1:14:49 a point for the Tailgaters in the

1:14:50 second. Indy, ooh, got him to go around,

1:14:52 0-2. Sword right there.

1:14:55 That's the Tailgaters hitting coach, by

1:14:56 the way, Andrew Bartman.

1:14:59 The 1-2. Call him a sand bream. I love

1:15:01 it. I love it, Bart. Well, hey, you come

1:15:03 in here and spread some love. Go spread

1:15:05 these hot dogs around everybody else. I

1:15:06 got one more thing. Yep, yep, yep.

1:15:08 Nicole Bartman, the most rockstar person

1:15:10 on the face of the earth. Happy early

1:15:12 Mother's Day.

1:15:13 Denise Bartman, my mother, happy

1:15:15 Mother's Day. I love you both and

1:15:17 wouldn't be doing any of this fun stuff

1:15:18 without you. Bart, thank you so much for

1:15:19 blessing us with the glizzys and with

1:15:20 your beautiful voice. You got it,

1:15:21 brother. Anytime.

1:15:24 >> Indy continuing to fight off there.

1:15:26 >> [music]

1:15:28 >> I had to make Bart take his hat off. Now

1:15:29 I just got it sitting over here on the

1:15:30 floor.

1:15:31 I've watched him bleach this thing at

1:15:32 least four times this year to keep it

1:15:34 white. The amount of work he puts in.

1:15:37 Indy working a good plate appearance

1:15:39 here, running at full.

1:15:48 And what a plate appearance from Indy

1:15:50 and a Stanley. And he wants TWO BAGS ON

1:15:52 THIS BALL FOR A SPREAD.

1:15:54 And he'll get it.

1:15:57 Hustle,

1:15:58 grit, and determination

1:16:01 to put the inning winning run yet again

1:16:03 in scoring position. See him and Nico

1:16:04 Hulkenberg sharing a smile. Those two

1:16:07 were roommates back [music] in Savannah.

1:16:13 The only thing better than this hot dog

1:16:15 that I'm eating right now

1:16:17 is the potential walk-off here for the

1:16:19 Tailgaters in the bottom of the third.

1:16:24 Fiber,

1:16:26 the captain of the Texas Tailgaters,

1:16:28 Jordan Husain.

1:16:37 He reached last night via trick play.

1:16:38 Missed the only time that Fiber was able

1:16:40 to reach. Hit streak game to an end,

1:16:41 unfortunately.

1:16:45 Out to Maddy. Woah, woah, what a play.

1:16:47 Throws it back to second. Nobody was

1:16:49 there.

1:16:50 That'll be out number two here in the

1:16:51 bottom of the third.

1:17:01 >> [music]

1:17:02 >> Nick Lopez back at the top of the order,

1:17:04 land who led the Tailgaters in walk-offs

1:17:07 a year ago has an opportunity to do it

1:17:09 here in the third. Brett Maddy

1:17:11 trying to settle in. [music]

1:17:19 Buttoning it up.

1:17:21 Brett the 1-0.

1:17:22 Ooh, good frame. Does not get the call

1:17:24 there from Reggie Leggins.

1:17:28 Lowe will reach via trick play missed as

1:17:29 [music] well in the bottom of the first.

1:17:31 Oh, man.

1:17:33 Way foul.

1:17:36 I'm not going to lie to y'all. There's a

1:17:37 really good coffee shop out there behind

1:17:39 right field. It might have landed over

1:17:40 there.

1:17:47 The 2-1 out to right. Cowboy Joe has it

1:17:51 for out number three. Brett Maddy

1:17:55 has a runner in scoring position, but

1:17:57 that's where he'll stay and our score

1:17:59 will stay at one a piece [music] as

1:18:02 well. Now, one of my favorite promos

1:18:04 that we have here in Tailgater Land,

1:18:07 Mutton Busting.

1:18:13 Tulsa, you may have seen Mutton Busting,

1:18:17 but now it's time for Mutton Dusting.

1:18:20 WE'VE GOT SHEEP COMING AROUND and dust

1:18:22 the bases.

1:18:32 >> [cheering]

1:19:08 >> Coming to bat

1:19:11 number 44, Darnell Francis Jr.

1:19:19 And that's Mud Duster

1:19:21 and he is all knuckles Fisher Polidoro

1:19:25 who has made his way up north here to

1:19:26 the broadcasting booth to join us for

1:19:28 the third straight night. Fish, how are

1:19:30 you my friend? I'm doing as well I'm a

1:19:31 little winded after I just climbed that

1:19:33 flight of stairs, Brett, but nonetheless

1:19:35 delighted to be here with you.

1:19:37 You know, there's an elevator

1:19:39 you can use down there in the clubhouse.

1:19:41 >> I really ain't one for modern

1:19:43 technology, you know this, Brett.

1:19:45 >> They had elevators back in the 1920s,

1:19:47 Fish. I'm just old-fashioned through and

1:19:48 through.

1:19:50 I'm going to say that again, they've had

1:19:51 elevators for many, many years, over 100

1:19:53 years actually. I don't know when the

1:19:54 first elevator came about, but it's been

1:19:56 around for a while. I have time traveled

1:19:58 through space and time all the way back

1:19:59 to baseball history, Brett. Not just the

1:20:01 1959, I've been all the way back to the

1:20:04 inception of the game.

1:20:06 1959, very random year THERE FROM YOU.

1:20:08 FANS!

1:20:09 >> [screaming]

1:20:09 >> YES!

1:20:11 FOR THE SECOND STRAIGHT NIGHT, TOLS HAS

1:20:14 GOT A FAN CAUGHT FOUL BALL.

1:20:17 THIS TIME IN FAVOR OF THE BOYS IN BLUE

1:20:20 AND ORANGE. THAT'S WHY YOU BRING YOUR

1:20:22 GLOVE TO A BANANA ball game.

1:20:28 Absolutely Jack figure from the green

1:20:30 shirt dude. He reaches up and snags it

1:20:32 in an impeccable catch. I know the fans

1:20:34 around him were certainly hyping him up,

1:20:36 excited for the Tailgaters there.

1:20:39 Bring your glove, Fish.

1:20:40 I did bring my glove. I got it sitting

1:20:42 up here in the broadcast booth. I'm

1:20:43 protecting you. Protect me. I shall be

1:20:45 Bret Loftis' coveted bodyguard tonight.

1:20:47 >> All I need is these two hands right here

1:20:49 to protect myself from foul balls, Fish.

1:20:51 That's all I need. Uh these uniforms,

1:20:53 where do they rank for you in all of

1:20:54 Bananaland? These top three for me. The

1:20:57 off-white Indianapolis Clowns, I got to

1:20:59 say they rank second

1:21:01 because I'm a big local beach coconut.

1:21:03 The uh the orange kind of Yeah, the

1:21:05 sunrise one. I like that one.

1:21:07 It's modern. It's It's It gives a new

1:21:09 flair to it.

1:21:09 >> I like it.

1:21:11 High in the sky, fans. Potentially

1:21:13 another opportunity.

1:21:16 Wow.

1:21:17 You get one, then you get two.

1:21:19 Continuing to just feed into it there,

1:21:21 Fish. I know. I know.

1:21:23 Going to find a hole like a lucky

1:21:24 gopher.

1:21:27 >> [laughter]

1:21:28 >> That was good. A lucky gopher.

1:21:30 Good, Fish. You're good.

1:21:33 The one-two from CD.

1:21:36 Fans over on the left for you, field

1:21:38 side. Potentially an opportunity.

1:21:40 Ah.

1:21:42 Little butterfingers right there. You

1:21:44 ever caught a foul ball at a baseball or

1:21:46 Bananaland game, Fish? I did, actually.

1:21:47 I was at an American Association game.

1:21:49 Carl Prime was playing for the uh Texas

1:21:53 AirHogs.

1:21:55 Yes, and I caught one with another ball

1:21:57 in my glove. It was a Rawlings DJ too.

1:21:59 Prime was playing first base when it

1:22:01 happened, and it was really magical. I

1:22:03 was 12 years old.

1:22:05 Prime would have been about the same age

1:22:06 he is now, 34. I swear that guy's been

1:22:09 34 years old for the last 10 years. He

1:22:12 doesn't age. He doesn't age.

1:22:14 He doesn't get any younger or any older.

1:22:16 Nico breaks his bat. Taylor Justice tip

1:22:19 drill. Buckets! Buckets!

1:22:23 MR. JUSTICE. MR. SUNSHINE. Trick plays

1:22:26 five and six on the night for the boys

1:22:28 in blue and orange.

1:22:30 I think I've found a perfect name for

1:22:32 that exact trick play right there. That

1:22:34 has got to be the hat and the hug. The

1:22:37 hat and hug combo right there from

1:22:39 Looters.

1:22:40 Into the hat and into a hug. It shows

1:22:43 the true companionship that these two

1:22:45 possess out there. The coordination that

1:22:46 it takes to perform and execute such a

1:22:49 tricky trick play. Taj just gave Prime

1:22:52 something. He stuck it in his jersey.

1:22:55 Must be good luck. Two out single here

1:22:57 for Mr. Prime, who again will forever be

1:22:59 34 years old. I reckon I got to ask him

1:23:01 what he put in in his back pocket right

1:23:03 there whenever I make my voyage down to

1:23:05 the dugout.

1:23:07 Now Malachi Mitchell will come on to run

1:23:09 for Mr. Prime.

1:23:12 Flash the [music] kid.

1:23:14 What do you call

1:23:16 I call him Flashy-o Baby-o Buddy-o Pal-o

1:23:18 Boy.

1:23:20 I call him a bunch of things. He's a

1:23:21 good old companion of mine.

1:23:24 Chris Burgess stung that into left field

1:23:26 line. Wadi will cut it off in the

1:23:28 corner.

1:23:29 Flashy-o Baby-o holds up at second.

1:23:32 Back-to-back two out singles here for

1:23:33 the clown. And now one of the hottest

1:23:35 men on the planet, Eli Peyton, has an

1:23:38 opportunity to drive in the clown's

1:23:39 first run since the first.

1:23:42 He's already been putting on a

1:23:44 miraculous show the last two games.

1:23:46 Looking to just keep entertaining the

1:23:48 fans. That's what he does best.

1:23:53 Ooh, way behind that changeup. Oh and

1:23:55 one. A hearty hack. Sitting on a

1:23:57 fastball looking to pull it into the

1:23:58 Tulsa skyline right there.

1:24:02 Pulls it.

1:24:03 Will it stay fair? It will not.

1:24:05 Oh.

1:24:07 And TJ a little bit discombobulated by

1:24:08 that ball as he lets it go to the umpire

1:24:10 ninja. Spell discombobulated.

1:24:13 D I S C O M B O B U L A T E D.

1:24:18 Discombobulated. Can y'all check that

1:24:20 for me? Can we get a fact check? Can

1:24:22 someone contact Webster's dictionary?

1:24:24 That sounds like a good year as I'm sure

1:24:26 he knows. No. Two.

1:24:30 You know

1:24:31 in some way somehow cuz baby there ain't

1:24:35 no mountain high enough ain't no valley

1:24:40 low enough That's out number three here

1:24:45 in the top of the four. Now we're going

1:24:48 to throw it down to hey baby fish your

1:24:51 poly doral please stay with me. You have

1:24:55 serenaded me like an angel Bret Lockett.

1:24:57 Thank you for blessing my ears once

1:24:58 again.

1:25:00 All

1:25:01 over the stadium.

1:25:02 Put your hands in the air and let's get

1:25:04 clapping and dancing along to a little

1:25:06 hey baby.

1:25:11 >> [music]

1:25:12 >> If you don't know the DANCE JUST FOLLOW

1:25:14 ALONG.

1:25:20 Here we go. GET THOSE HANDS WAVING.

1:25:25 >> [music]

1:25:26 >> OOH.

1:25:27 >> [screaming]

1:25:27 >> AH.

1:25:33 >> [music]

1:25:33 >> All right. Let's do it again.

1:25:40 Ooh.

1:25:42 Ah.

1:25:46 >> [music]

1:25:47 >> All right. Get those hands up and

1:25:49 CLAPPING WHILE WE SHUFFLE.

1:25:52 >> [music]

1:26:03 >> Here we go.

1:26:08 >> [music]

1:26:09 >> Ooh.

1:26:10 Ah.

1:26:13 >> [music]

1:26:15 >> One more time. Let me hear you sing it.

1:26:21 >> [music]

1:26:31 >> There we go. Told you great job,

1:26:33 everybody.

1:26:38 Maddie Warren

1:26:39 after that hey baby

1:26:41 has acquired the gentleman

1:26:43 who just caught that foul ball. Maddie,

1:26:47 please ask him why he brought his glove

1:26:49 to tonight's Savannah Bananas game.

1:26:50 Brad, thank you so much. Yeah, this is

1:26:52 Garrett, and Garrett brought his glove.

1:26:54 How did you know that that was a good

1:26:56 idea for you to bring that glove? We've

1:26:58 been watching a lot of YouTube Banana

1:27:00 Ball videos with my son, so we wanted to

1:27:02 be the ones to get the out today, so we

1:27:04 were prepared. For sure, this is their

1:27:06 first Banana Ball game, and this is

1:27:08 little Crew, and Crew gets to come down

1:27:10 on the field because his dad just caught

1:27:12 this foul ball. So, they're going to

1:27:13 hang out and tailgate for a little bit.

1:27:14 You think you can Yeah, absolutely. For

1:27:16 sure, Crew, you got anything to add?

1:27:19 What? Are you having a good time? He

1:27:21 thinks it's awesome.

1:27:23 They're having a great time. He's

1:27:24 starstruck. Brad, back to you. I'd be

1:27:26 starstruck, too, if I got to meet Maddie

1:27:28 Warren. That's a That's a great great

1:27:30 great thing, getting to bring those

1:27:31 folks down there on the field. You know

1:27:32 what else is great? Seeing my good

1:27:34 friend Gage Worhees make his second

1:27:37 appearance of the weekend. Came in last

1:27:39 night, able to earn the win, or excuse

1:27:41 me, earn the save for the Indianapolis

1:27:43 Clowns in the win.

1:27:45 Return Retiring three of the four guys

1:27:47 he faced. Gage such a good guy to have

1:27:50 in that clubhouse. How fish? I would say

1:27:52 great, just like some frosted flakes as

1:27:54 well.

1:27:56 No free advertisement, but he has been

1:27:58 great coming out of the bullpen this

1:28:00 year.

1:28:01 Gage starts out Zack Watson 0-1.

1:28:04 He's tricky on the mound. He works a lot

1:28:05 of different looks.

1:28:07 It's kind of like yourself in the sky,

1:28:09 Wolfie.

1:28:12 Calling for the tip drill. Book it.

1:28:15 Wolfie, Bobby LaDay, a man who's been

1:28:18 around since almost the inception of the

1:28:20 sport of banana ball to a rookie for out

1:28:21 number one.

1:28:23 Wolfie's been instrumental in teaching

1:28:25 the young whippersnappers as myself and

1:28:28 Bobby LaDay, Quigley Banks over at third

1:28:30 base. And you've got two veterans on the

1:28:32 right side of the infield and banana

1:28:34 ball. I guess Prime's been playing for

1:28:36 about a year and a half now, but it's

1:28:38 intake and so much of the guys that have

1:28:40 been here since the inception of the

1:28:42 original Savannah Bananas team and

1:28:44 utilize it well.

1:28:45 Mhm. 2-0 to Kmart.

1:28:47 >> [music]

1:28:49 >> Young whippersnapper. Indubitably. Mhm.

1:28:54 The 2-0.

1:28:56 Spell Spell whippersnapper.

1:28:59 w h i p p e r Haha, he said peepee. s n

1:29:04 a p p e r

1:29:05 >> again.

1:29:08 Matt Wolf just did a backflip off of the

1:29:10 barrel.

1:29:11 And he [music] is just fooling around,

1:29:13 clowning around with it out there.

1:29:14 Kirkland Banks said he's got the biggest

1:29:16 drawers of anybody in banana ball.

1:29:19 Gillian, too.

1:29:21 And he he utilized them in the walk-up

1:29:22 as well. He He dropped them

1:29:25 for for the fans. He does it all for the

1:29:26 fans. Kmart Oh.

1:29:29 Hit it back to Savannah, but it's foul.

1:29:33 There's a lot of fans up on that

1:29:35 balcony.

1:29:36 And they were anticipating a home run

1:29:38 from Kmart. Doesn't have quite the

1:29:40 distance, but surely

1:29:42 >> the distance. It just wasn't fair. Oh, I

1:29:44 don't know about that. It would probably

1:29:45 take about a behemoth blast 800 ft from

1:29:47 the babe to be able to get up there.

1:29:51 This one in the sky, much shorter

1:29:53 distance. KB, tip drill to Bobby. Book

1:29:57 it.

1:29:58 Two trick plays, two outs in the bottom

1:30:00 of the fourth for the Clowns.

1:30:04 Seeing deja vu out there with another

1:30:05 tip drill

1:30:07 on the left side of the infield.

1:30:09 Coicklin pops it up to La Day.

1:30:12 I often wonder how many times the

1:30:14 Indianapolis Clowns could theoretically

1:30:15 pop it up

1:30:17 and just keep the show going for the

1:30:18 fans. [music]

1:30:19 Secures it

1:30:21 right there for a just a trick play.

1:30:24 Just one more time, what's the starting

1:30:25 third baseman's name for the Clowns

1:30:27 tonight? That would be Coicklin Banks.

1:30:29 >> Coicklin? Banks at third base.

1:30:32 Coicklin.

1:30:33 Put that on the t-shirt. Coicklin. I

1:30:35 don't know how you spell that.

1:30:36 >> Put it on a bumper sticker, why not?

1:30:39 Jordan Barr, the 2-0.

1:30:41 All right, 3-0.

1:30:43 Struck out his first time up.

1:30:45 Gets Brett Maddox, who was exceptional

1:30:47 tonight.

1:30:48 Two strikeouts for that young

1:30:50 whippersnapper.

1:30:52 Ball four Brett.

1:30:54 Just the second that the Tailgaters have

1:30:56 drawn tonight.

1:30:58 Brett says JB will stay put over at

1:31:00 first. And now Taylor Justice, [music]

1:31:02 the Banana Ball Championship League

1:31:04 leader in walk-offs,

1:31:07 will have an opportunity with a man at

1:31:08 first here and two away.

1:31:12 Eight walk-offs this year for Taylor.

1:31:15 Impressive. It shows his his veteran

1:31:17 feel for the game. He really knows

1:31:19 situational offense and defense.

1:31:22 He plays a really uh he plays a a key

1:31:23 role in the Texas Tailgaters defense,

1:31:25 being kind of a captain. He's he's been

1:31:27 here, you know, the Banana CPL and

1:31:29 Oh, Jordan Barr was taken off on the

1:31:31 pitch. Throw to Prime.

1:31:34 Oh, Prime bouncing in the dirt to

1:31:37 Wolfie. Wolfie just had to body it up in

1:31:39 front of him.

1:31:40 And Jordan Barr's with the weirdest

1:31:42 stolen base you'll ever see.

1:31:45 >> [music]

1:31:47 >> True.

1:31:48 Oh. Oh, it drills him in the back.

1:31:49 >> Yeah, that's what happened. Oh boy,

1:31:51 that's going to leave a mark.

1:31:52 >> bounce. I couldn't see him from our

1:31:53 angle up here. The Banana Ball hitting

1:31:55 him in the six. But yeah, he'll take it.

1:31:58 That's going to leave a purple or blue

1:32:00 bruise on the back of

1:32:02 Jordan Bart out there

1:32:04 on the already blue Texas Tailgaters

1:32:06 jersey.

1:32:07 What did you say, pure? What is that?

1:32:09 Purple. Okay.

1:32:11 Taylor

1:32:13 called strike on him, a ball and a

1:32:14 strike now.

1:32:16 Stolen bases this year, Jordan Bart,

1:32:18 that's number two in his Banana Ball

1:32:19 career.

1:32:22 Taylor!

1:32:24 Punch your charge! DEEP CENTER FIELD!

1:32:28 AND walk-off number nine for Taylor

1:32:32 Justice, THE BANANA BALL CHAMPIONSHIP

1:32:34 LEADING LEADER, MAKES IT A TWO-TO-ONE

1:32:37 BALLGAME FOR THE BOYS IN BLUE and

1:32:39 orange.

1:32:40 Fisher Polidor for time traveler. I

1:32:42 can't wait TO GO IN THE FUTURE AND TELL

1:32:44 MY CHILDREN ABOUT 2026 TAYLOR JUSTICE.

1:32:48 Absolutely thrilling to be in 2026,

1:32:50 Brad. Thanks so much for having me up in

1:32:52 the booth. You bet your by golly well

1:32:54 I'm thrilled.

1:32:56 If you'll be the cash, I'll be the

1:32:58 rubber band.

1:32:59 Uh

1:33:00 okay. If you'll be the cash,

1:33:03 I'll be the rubber band. If you'll be

1:33:04 the match,

1:33:05 I will be the fuel. Boom.

1:33:08 Tailgaters have won the inning.

1:33:12 Taylor Justice,

1:33:14 the leopard, is out in right field. Left

1:33:17 center field, what are you doing?

1:33:20 All right now, you know the Tailgate, we

1:33:21 love to play games and there's nothing

1:33:23 wrong with selling there.

1:33:25 Donny Allen, the boys, Joe Sperone,

1:33:27 Jimmy Lewis.

1:33:29 walk-off this way. That's now incorrect.

1:33:32 It was entering tonight. As you see

1:33:34 there on your screen, you know why it's

1:33:35 wrong? Cuz Taylor Justice just got

1:33:37 another one. Nine walk-offs

1:33:40 this year for Taylor Justice.

1:33:42 K Mart, Jordan Mart, brother, all up

1:33:44 there in the top five. Dalton Cornett,

1:33:46 D'Angelo Saylor from Peppa Pat's,

1:33:48 Kentucky, still sitting in second.

1:33:51 Firefighters playing the Coconut

1:33:52 Coconuts in Wichita, Kansas.

1:33:57 Two, one, [cheering] go! go!

1:34:11 Wow.

1:34:19 How about that, huh?

1:34:21 That's [music] quite the promo.

1:34:23 Corn just went flying in there.

1:34:30 Oh, look at that.

1:34:31 Man just took the hula hoop with him.

1:34:33 Oh, Poke Santi took the hula hoop.

1:34:36 That's funny.

1:34:38 Well, you talk about a beauty shop, a

1:34:40 beauty shot. That's a beauty shot right

1:34:42 there. There's a U-Haul truck spinning

1:34:45 around on top of the U-Haul building.

1:34:48 The bananas up three to one over the

1:34:50 animals tonight in Atlanta. Wow, only

1:34:52 two hits. Is that some for the party

1:34:54 animals tonight? One to one in Wichita

1:34:56 between the coconuts and the

1:34:57 firefighters. Look at the trick plays

1:34:59 for the coconuts tonight, man. 12 of

1:35:01 them there.

1:35:02 Wow.

1:35:03 Three combined hits. What inning are

1:35:05 they in?

1:35:06 I mean, they they started same time we

1:35:07 did.

1:35:08 Guys can't notice I was updated in real

1:35:10 time there about the the scores tonight,

1:35:11 too. Score updates for you guys, score

1:35:13 updates for me as well. Brian Dancer

1:35:16 out to brother.

1:35:18 Tip drill, bucket.

1:35:21 Making it even eight trick plays tonight

1:35:24 for the tailgaters.

1:35:31 Indy coming over late there. Sunshine,

1:35:33 if you'll notice every single time

1:35:36 there's a potential tip drill in the

1:35:37 outfield, Jonathan Sunshine Ludders runs

1:35:39 all the way out to center or right

1:35:41 field, no matter where it is, to go and

1:35:43 get it.

1:35:47 CD and KB smiling at each other here

1:35:49 with Taj behind the plate.

1:35:50 Gosh, I'd a fly on the wall down there.

1:35:53 All right, Indy, WHAT YOU GOT?

1:35:56 BUCKETS!

1:35:58 HE'S TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL.

1:36:02 INDIANA STANLEY

1:36:05 nonchalant

1:36:08 for out number two.

1:36:15 Last year we seen Indy a lot of

1:36:17 backflip catches still electrifying.

1:36:19 What he's been able to do this year

1:36:22 really making that behind the back that

1:36:25 half tornado right there, not even a

1:36:26 half tornado, just going behind the back

1:36:28 with it. Making that his signature trick

1:36:30 play out there in center field is so

1:36:31 smooth to see.

1:36:33 Cowboy Joe, ball on [music] a strike.

1:36:35 Returning back to the top of the order

1:36:37 here for the clowns.

1:36:40 >> [music]

1:36:44 [singing]

1:36:45 >> CD with that neon green on.

1:36:47 >> [music]

1:36:50 >> Facing the man in the turtleneck.

1:36:53 Now he's got two balls, two strikes, two

1:36:55 outs on him.

1:36:58 >> [music]

1:37:03 >> Fans, [music]

1:37:04 maybe?

1:37:06 No.

1:37:08 Like that hit a lady on the concourse

1:37:09 down there.

1:37:11 See her there right in the white tank

1:37:12 top? Struck her there. See it hit her

1:37:14 onto the concourse. 2-2 again?

1:37:18 Ooh, Taj.

1:37:21 Hope he's okay, man.

1:37:24 Oh.

1:37:27 Got Taj right in the mask and

1:37:29 immediately popped off.

1:37:33 Oh, no.

1:37:34 That's not good.

1:37:51 >> Taj is a tough cookie.

1:37:53 He's a real real real tough cookie.

1:37:57 Only thing you worry about there for Taj

1:38:00 is it catching him right in the top of

1:38:01 the noggin.

1:38:03 See Mick asking him if he's sure.

1:38:05 Athletic trainer Brian Shoppell out

1:38:08 there talking to him.

1:38:10 CD is his best friend. So, if anybody's

1:38:12 worried about him, it's going to be

1:38:15 You should see CD just had a funny

1:38:16 moment. Wow.

1:38:18 CD held up his finger

1:38:21 joking around with Taj.

1:38:22 Getting Joey Jr.

1:38:24 One of the good friends of both of these

1:38:25 guys with Kirkland Banks, I mean

1:38:27 good group to hang out with when you're

1:38:28 on the road.

1:38:30 And obviously the guys that friendly

1:38:31 banter during this competitive nature.

1:38:33 Right there Joey checking in on Taj.

1:38:36 Happy to see TP stay in this ball game.

1:38:37 >> [music]

1:38:41 >> Over Zoom out to right brother another

1:38:43 opportunity.

1:38:45 Right there just makes the old-fashioned

1:38:47 grab for out number three.

1:38:52 Good news Taj Porter is okay. Even

1:38:53 better news, I shouldn't say even better

1:38:55 news, but just as good news, another

1:38:57 zero the fourth straight for Christian

1:38:59 Davis. And now it's time for our player

1:39:01 dance.

1:39:04 Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME BACK TO

1:39:06 THE field the Texas Two Steppers and the

1:39:09 Texas Tailgaters.

1:39:23 >> [music]

1:39:30 [music]

1:39:54 [music]

1:40:01 [music]

1:40:14 [music]

1:40:20 >> Tulsa, give it up FOR THE TEXAS

1:40:22 TAILGATERS AND YOUR TEXAS TWO STEPPERS.

1:40:35 Mac Danford looked at me earlier today

1:40:37 when they were rehearsing that player

1:40:38 dance.

1:40:39 He said, "Brett, I'm going to absolutely

1:40:41 kill it." And he did. He generally was.

1:40:45 Brother was in that, Donnie Allen.

1:40:49 Great player dance there with the Texas

1:40:51 Two Steppers, Gage Fourhees.

1:40:54 In his second inning of work after Brett

1:40:55 Maddock [music]

1:40:56 delivered a really good start through

1:40:58 the first three innings.

1:41:00 Tailgaters did walk it off there off the

1:41:02 bat of Taylor Justice in the fourth

1:41:04 first inning for game.

1:41:05 It's how we made it here to two to one

1:41:06 late. Mac Danford, Taylor Justice with

1:41:08 the two walk-offs tonight.

1:41:10 Trick play update, Tailgaters lead it

1:41:12 nine to two.

1:41:13 >> [music]

1:41:14 >> Clowns have not won the equalizer point.

1:41:17 Since their an ideal game at FSU,

1:41:19 Brother lead-off single.

1:41:26 Given the Clowns when they want to be a

1:41:27 really good trick play team. However, I

1:41:29 think

1:41:30 >> [music]

1:41:31 >> we've seen the aggressiveness kind of

1:41:32 jump up and bite them tonight, so maybe

1:41:34 a little skittish to go back to those

1:41:36 trick plays here.

1:41:38 Couple trick play misses thus far. Jason

1:41:40 aren't mind you I hitting here.

1:41:43 One and oh.

1:41:44 He's hitting in Max spot in the seven

1:41:46 hole.

1:41:51 Jason oh just got under.

1:41:54 Three guys colluding on it. Who wants

1:41:56 it?

1:41:57 Bobby La Day a great play in foul

1:42:00 territory for out number one.

1:42:07 Jason just missed that.

1:42:09 Bobby almost overran it.

1:42:11 But a great play. Thought about throwing

1:42:13 it back to first. Runner was all the way

1:42:15 to second.

1:42:16 Now it's time for the biggest the

1:42:18 largest.

1:42:23 Ty is getting his bearings about him.

1:42:24 Again just took that foul tip off the

1:42:25 mask.

1:42:28 Oh and one.

1:42:35 Mhm.

1:42:38 I swear.

1:42:39 Ty has about the worst luck of any

1:42:42 catcher I've ever seen play for the

1:42:43 Animals.

1:42:46 He gets hit with a foul tip about once

1:42:48 every single night.

1:42:52 I mean

1:42:53 he's just so tough man. This is six

1:42:56 straight game he's called.

1:42:58 The most games consecutively he's ever

1:43:00 called as a Tailgater.

1:43:02 Start number 13 behind the dish tonight

1:43:04 >> [music]

1:43:04 >> as the catcher.

1:43:06 In game number 19 on the year for the

1:43:07 Tailgaters.

1:43:09 He's a war horse. He's the biggest he's

1:43:11 the largest.

1:43:14 And he's at here three balls to one

1:43:15 strike. [music]

1:43:17 And a ball four sprint.

1:43:20 Runner will at least go to third here.

1:43:22 Got to see clean ball four sprint

1:43:23 defense from the clown.

1:43:26 And it will be so.

1:43:29 Runners on the corners. Ty's run

1:43:30 obviously does not matter over at first

1:43:33 for the time being, at least. Just

1:43:34 needing one to win the inning. Jacob

1:43:36 Peppersack comes in to Tailgaters

1:43:38 designated runner at first.

1:43:40 A perfect 10 for 10 in stolen bases.

1:43:43 Indiana Stanley

1:43:45 An opportunity now to walk off the end.

1:43:48 >> [music]

1:43:49 >> Infield in for the Clowns.

1:43:55 >> [music]

1:43:55 >> Fouled off and out of the ballpark.

1:43:59 Jacob Peppersack taking off.

1:44:01 >> [music]

1:44:01 >> Obviously, why not? He can add another

1:44:03 stolen base to his

1:44:06 resume.

1:44:10 Nobody's covering [music] second here.

1:44:11 Nobody's got to cover second. Doesn't

1:44:13 matter. Oh, brother was halfway down the

1:44:15 line. What a play by [music] Chris

1:44:17 Burgess.

1:44:20 As now Peppersack will advance to

1:44:21 second.

1:44:27 >> [music]

1:44:28 >> Great play by Chris Burgess again. Know

1:44:30 that one got away from him, but to get

1:44:32 to that banana ball.

1:44:34 >> [music]

1:44:37 >> As Peppersack advanced up 90 ft on the

1:44:39 wild pitch.

1:44:43 INDY!

1:44:46 NICO MAKING THE GRAB. Full size or great

1:44:48 arm. Throw back in up the line. Indiana

1:44:52 Stanley!

1:44:54 MAKES IT BACK-TO-BACK INNINGS THE

1:44:55 Tailgaters walk it off

1:44:57 and take a three to one lead.

1:45:01 >> [cheering]

1:45:07 >> Indy with the ball force Brett in a

1:45:08 sacrifice liner RBI. Not in that bat for

1:45:11 him anymore.

1:45:17 Is that to the Clowns won that first

1:45:19 inning?

1:45:20 Tailgaters walk off the second, the

1:45:22 fourth and the fifth.

1:45:25 As we're going to throw it down to Matty

1:45:26 Warren.

1:45:31 Hey Brett, I'm down here I'm down here

1:45:34 with uh Beef Daddy and as you can see

1:45:36 he's making some progress on this food

1:45:38 over here. Now, I'm not going to

1:45:40 interrupt him. He's got a good thing

1:45:41 going right here, but uh

1:45:43 this is just something so special to the

1:45:46 state of Oklahoma. He might have hit a

1:45:47 wall. Tell

1:45:49 Tell us about it after after this drink

1:45:50 of water. How we feeling?

1:45:54 I'm sure I'm just imagining them from

1:45:56 all the food delirium. But I got a

1:45:59 couple minutes left. YOU GET AWAY. WHY

1:46:00 IS THERE PIE READY? I GOT THIS.

1:46:03 He's got this. He's got a couple minutes

1:46:05 left. It is an eating challenge that

1:46:06 will rival the steak that happened in

1:46:08 Texas a couple weekends ago. So uh

1:46:11 everything's bigger in Texas, but the

1:46:12 burgers in Oklahoma are a little bit

1:46:14 bigger. Brett, uh I'm weirdly hungry

1:46:16 right now. I'm not weirdly hungry. I am

1:46:18 hungry.

1:46:19 I could take a lot of that food.

1:46:21 Beef Daddy needs some help. You know who

1:46:23 to call me. I'm up here in the broadcast

1:46:26 I know who else you call when you need a

1:46:27 big-time start. You call that guy David

1:46:30 Griffin or you could call Christian

1:46:32 Davis who has delivered here

1:46:35 >> [music]

1:46:35 >> thus far for the Tailgaters beginning

1:46:37 his sixth inning of work.

1:46:44 CD gave up those couple of runs to begin

1:46:47 the first again. Didn't retire a clown

1:46:49 until the fifth at bat of the ballgame.

1:46:52 But then it's been nails since.

1:46:58 Now he will face the man he struck out

1:46:59 his last time up in Jackie Bradley Jr.

1:47:02 And Taj takes another foul tip.

1:47:07 You know what's funny? If I may wax

1:47:08 poetically for a moment.

1:47:10 Jackie Bradley Jr.

1:47:12 and Taj again off the mask in the short.

1:47:16 Jackie's been helping out Taj a lot with

1:47:18 his swing.

1:47:23 Taj was telling me a story. Actually did

1:47:25 rehearses earlier this afternoon. Todd

1:47:27 said, "Man, I feel like I'm on time. I'm

1:47:29 seeing the ball well at the dish." He

1:47:30 said, "But I feel like where my barrel's

1:47:33 been at it hadn't been where it's

1:47:34 supposed to be." He said, "So I text

1:47:36 Jackie last night around 1:00 or 2:00

1:47:38 a.m. once we all made it back to the

1:47:40 hotel."

1:47:41 As this one skips up off the net, Jackie

1:47:43 don't want to run to first. Also got

1:47:44 another piece of Todd's as well, ball

1:47:46 and two strikes.

1:47:48 And he was talking about this morning.

1:47:50 [music] Jackie sat with Todd for about

1:47:52 an hour and a half

1:47:54 watching some at bats. Todd would text

1:47:56 him [music] a few and then sitting there

1:47:56 watching some at bats and how much

1:47:58 Jackie is really helping out Todd right

1:48:00 now at the dish. And that just goes to

1:48:02 show [music]

1:48:03 again how one one big family we are in

1:48:05 Banana Ball and how great of a leader

1:48:07 and an and an example that Jackie

1:48:08 Bradley Jr. is, especially when he can

1:48:10 continue to do stuff like this as he

1:48:12 puts it out right center field in the

1:48:13 gap. He's going to test the arm of

1:48:15 Indiana Stanley. Throw back in.

1:48:19 Just out of the [music] reach of Five.

1:48:21 Lead off double

1:48:23 from one of Banana Ball's mega stars in

1:48:25 Jackie Bradley Jr. His first hit of the

1:48:27 night.

1:48:32 And you know it's pretty easy. You know,

1:48:34 we all grew up. I don't use the word

1:48:36 idolizing, but a few of us did. I mean,

1:48:37 Jackie Bradley Jr. was

1:48:40 a big time ball player in his day as a

1:48:42 Red Sock, a Royal, a Blue Brewer. And

1:48:44 now to be an example in these locker

1:48:46 rooms, to be an example for all of us

1:48:48 here fans for Savannah Bananas in Banana

1:48:50 Ball is just such a special special

1:48:52 thing to see. As he stands in scoring

1:48:53 position, Bobby La Day.

1:48:55 >> [music]

1:48:55 >> Speaking of guys an example for, this

1:48:56 rookie shortstop man I'm telling y'all

1:48:58 he's a blossoming superstar, one of the

1:49:00 best defenders in the league.

1:49:05 And hits it hard right there. Jordan

1:49:06 Barrs

1:49:08 bucket.

1:49:09 Making it even 10 trick plays yet again

1:49:12 for the Tailgaters this season and out

1:49:14 number one here in the sixth.

1:49:19 For the exception of all but four games

1:49:22 now.

1:49:23 So that makes it 15 of the 19 that the

1:49:25 Tailgaters have played have reached

1:49:26 double digit trick play.

1:49:31 >> [music]

1:49:33 >> Dale Francis Jr. Chopper back up the

1:49:35 middle and to center field.

1:49:37 Oh, Jackie's coming home. India good

1:49:39 arm.

1:49:40 Throw. Good scoop there by Ty's but

1:49:43 cannot get home in time and for the

1:49:45 first time since the first frame the

1:49:47 Indianapolis Clowns have plated a run.

1:49:52 Same guy that had an RBI single in the

1:49:54 first frame

1:49:56 has one here in the sixth, Dale Francis

1:49:57 Jr.

1:50:03 >> [music]

1:50:06 >> Nico Holscher.

1:50:11 Almost caught by the director of

1:50:14 entertainment for the Clowns.

1:50:16 >> [music]

1:50:18 >> Joe Meyer.

1:50:21 Oh my gosh. Ty's gets hit yet again.

1:50:27 Does he have a magnet that is attracting

1:50:29 the banana ball to him?

1:50:31 I mean serious.

1:50:33 >> [music]

1:50:34 >> That hit near the baked goods as well.

1:50:38 Ty's deserves a back massage

1:50:42 and a lot of crawfish after this.

1:50:46 A lot of crawfish.

1:50:48 Maybe a week off.

1:50:50 >> [music]

1:50:52 >> Geez.

1:50:57 No balls and two strikes.

1:51:03 Getting fine.

1:51:05 CD is getting up there near 100 pitches.

1:51:08 >> [music]

1:51:11 >> This would be the first time in

1:51:13 Tailgaters history we'd see a pitcher

1:51:14 throw 90 pitches in an outing, much less

1:51:16 100 if he got there. Ginn skips up on

1:51:19 Ty's, gets to the backstop.

1:51:21 >> [music]

1:51:22 >> And Del Francis Jr. advances up 90 ft on

1:51:24 that wild pitch.

1:51:31 I need y'all to send some prayers to the

1:51:33 good lord for Ty [music] Porter.

1:51:37 Keep him in your thoughts.

1:51:39 This is seventh time. He's got clipped

1:51:40 with a foul tip

1:51:42 on a wild pitch in just the last three

1:51:44 half inning.

1:51:45 This is crazy.

1:51:48 Nico gets out of the way of that one.

1:51:50 2-2 count.

1:51:56 Jordan Bart, good scoop, behind the

1:51:58 back, book it.

1:52:01 That's a GOOD PLAY ALL AROUND

1:52:03 from Jordan Bart. Two outs, TWO JB TRICK

1:52:06 plays here in the top of the sixth.

1:52:10 >> [singing]

1:52:13 [music]

1:52:15 >> Great hustle there. That's a hard 90.

1:52:19 as well.

1:52:21 Jonathan Hughes

1:52:22 will come on now

1:52:24 in relief of Christian Davis.

1:52:26 92 pitches for CD's night finishes

1:52:29 itself out.

1:52:32 He was an all-star last year for a

1:52:34 reason in Christian Davis and yet again

1:52:36 he proved why. In my opinion, [music]

1:52:39 >> [singing]

1:52:39 >> he's one of the two best left-handed

1:52:40 pitchers in the Banana Ball.

1:52:42 He and Noah Nessler. There's really no

1:52:44 other comparison

1:52:45 in my opinion between those two.

1:52:49 Correlle Bryant gets ahead 1-0.

1:52:52 Jonathan Hughes

1:52:54 forever

1:52:55 put himself in Tailgaters history

1:52:59 with that outing in the Banana Ball

1:53:00 opener against those Savannah Bananas.

1:53:03 Five innings, just gave up two runs

1:53:07 in game one against the Bananas in the

1:53:09 Open Championship. Prime out to left.

1:53:12 WHAT A

1:53:14 TIP DRILL, NO.

1:53:18 TRICK PLAY MISSED. Throw back in. Prime

1:53:21 safe at second.

1:53:25 >> [music]

1:53:27 >> The aggressiveness, I understand.

1:53:34 I understand.

1:53:36 Doesn't mean I necessarily agree with

1:53:37 it.

1:53:39 Neither does Todd.

1:53:41 Yep.

1:53:48 In Talking about the Open, I mean you've

1:53:49 already clinched a playoff spot. You

1:53:50 understand why Watley's being aggressive

1:53:52 right there.

1:53:54 But in the microcosm of tonight's game,

1:53:55 when you leave the trick play down 11 to

1:53:57 2,

1:53:58 maybe, just maybe, catch it and get out

1:54:01 of the inning. [music]

1:54:03 That run right there will not be charged

1:54:05 as earned to Christian Davis, by the

1:54:06 way. So, that'll [music] officially

1:54:07 finish his outing.

1:54:10 1-1 from John Boy.

1:54:12 Oh, Chris Burgess swinging out of his

1:54:13 shoes.

1:54:15 Donny and Hughes, Chris Burgess, two

1:54:16 guys, really good buds.

1:54:18 Came across each other a lot in the

1:54:19 minor league careers.

1:54:22 Hung out with both of these guys

1:54:23 actually went to go get on a boat back

1:54:25 in February in Tampa. [music]

1:54:28 The stories you hear from Mr. Hughes and

1:54:30 Mr. Burgess together, oh boy.

1:54:33 Payoff pitch incoming.

1:54:34 >> [music]

1:54:35 >> Ball four Sprint would bring home Prime

1:54:37 from second.

1:54:42 Foul ball was fouled. The first payoff

1:54:44 pitch, we'll see another.

1:54:46 >> [music]

1:54:55 >> John Boy.

1:54:58 Ball four Sprint.

1:55:03 Brings home the third run of the inning

1:55:04 for the clowns.

1:55:07 Chris Burgess having himself a good ball

1:55:09 game. A single and now that RBI ball for

1:55:11 Sprint. As Flash is going to run for him

1:55:13 over at first.

1:55:15 And continues it here as now Eli Peyton

1:55:17 goes in the box.

1:55:20 Eli, six hits in the series thus far,

1:55:22 none here tonight.

1:55:24 This goes to the backstop. TAJ PLAYS IT

1:55:26 OFF of there. Oh, man.

1:55:30 Fiver had the tag on him but the ball

1:55:32 popped out.

1:55:35 That's one of the weirder tags I've ever

1:55:37 seen.

1:55:38 >> [music]

1:55:38 >> Caressed it well.

1:55:41 Yeah, Flash's helmet got in there.

1:55:44 Guess that's another pro to wearing the

1:55:45 helmet.

1:55:48 Great play and throw [music] by Taj.

1:55:50 Despite the beating he's taking back

1:55:51 there tonight, still showing he's one of

1:55:53 the toughest [music] and one of the best

1:55:55 defensive catchers but Hannibal has to

1:55:56 offer.

1:55:58 Two and one.

1:56:07 Eli floats it to the center.

1:56:11 Indy's throw back in.

1:56:14 Taj keeps it in front of him.

1:56:16 An RBI single for [music] Eli Peyton

1:56:19 makes it an even four runs in the frame

1:56:21 for the clowns and gives Eli his first

1:56:23 [music] hit of the night.

1:56:28 And just an offensive explosion here

1:56:29 after that trick play messed.

1:56:36 Trick play messed allowed one to come

1:56:38 home then you have an RBI ball for

1:56:39 Sprint and now the RBI single.

1:56:41 Brian Dancero, O and two.

1:56:51 Dancero, the brother

1:56:53 who will finally stop this frame

1:56:56 and conclude matters here [music] in the

1:56:58 top of the sixth, not before four runs

1:57:00 come home for the clowns.

1:57:02 And they look well on their way to

1:57:04 scoring their second point of the night.

1:57:07 Now, for a very special performance for

1:57:09 the clowns and the tailgaters, with

1:57:12 Brandon and Jerious leading the way,

1:57:14 it's Tulsa 67.

1:57:36 >> [music]

1:58:46 [cheering]

1:58:53 >> Brandon and Jarris.

1:58:56 Man,

1:58:58 they are two of the very best

1:58:59 entertainers we have in our very own

1:59:02 sport of baseball. I, you know,

1:59:04 we [music] have a lot of entertaining

1:59:05 people, whether it be the players, the

1:59:07 cast, whoever. But having those two

1:59:09 gentlemen as a host, as co-host I should

1:59:11 say,

1:59:12 of the on-field entertainment here with

1:59:13 the Indianapolis Clowns, it is so, so

1:59:16 special.

1:59:18 Can't wait to see what those two guys

1:59:20 bring together next weekend

1:59:22 in Indianapolis for the Clowns' first

1:59:24 ever headliner against the Party

1:59:26 Animals.

1:59:27 It's going to be special, man.

1:59:29 Really, really, really special.

1:59:32 Jordan Hussein

1:59:34 facing Gage Warheez here in the bottom

1:59:36 of the sixth.

1:59:38 Gage giving up a walk-off in the fourth

1:59:40 and fifth inning.

1:59:42 He has an opportunity to earn the second

1:59:44 point of the night for the Clowns

1:59:46 as he comes in with a lot of insurance

1:59:48 here, up four to nothing in the inning.

1:59:50 It's Indianapolis

1:59:51 five

1:59:52 one to nothing.

1:59:54 Lined out to Matt Wolfe at second base

1:59:56 his first time up. Speaking of second

1:59:58 base, Jaylen Vasquez now out there. Eli

2:00:01 Peyton over there at third, unable to

2:00:03 make the play.

2:00:04 It'll be a single

2:00:07 as Jordan Hussein thought about making

2:00:08 it two, but will stay over at first and

2:00:10 a lead-off single

2:00:12 for the Houston, Texas native.

2:00:17 Wow, Jason Art coaching first.

2:00:20 But where is Nick Lopez?

2:01:17 What a walk up.

2:01:22 had our meeting in our OTTs this week or

2:01:24 over the top meetings for those

2:01:25 unfamiliar with Banana Ball or

2:01:28 folks tied to a certain brand will meet

2:01:30 together and discuss which walk ups, one

2:01:33 cellies, and other moments that we have

2:01:35 entertain entertainment moments we have.

2:01:38 And Jordan Watson, our director of

2:01:39 entertainment, pitched that song and I

2:01:41 had no idea what it was. Out to center.

2:01:45 >> [music]

2:01:45 >> And caught by Brian Dancero.

2:01:49 Jordan Holscher trying to tag up. He's

2:01:50 out by a mile.

2:01:52 Wow.

2:01:53 What a throw from Brian Dancero out

2:01:55 there in left.

2:02:01 Morristown is out for the clowns as

2:02:02 well. Dancero in left.

2:02:04 Nico Holscher has moved over to right.

2:02:07 Joe Gray Jr. in center.

2:02:09 Ooh.

2:02:11 Obviously not something they're going to

2:02:12 challenge, but that tag might have came

2:02:13 in late there.

2:02:15 ERIC FOX HAS A MICROPHONE.

2:02:21 Now coming to pitch, a Little League

2:02:24 World Series legend, and the 10th

2:02:26 overall pick in the WPBL,

2:02:29 NUMBER 29, MO'NE DAVIS.

2:02:34 >> [cheering]

2:02:39 >> Into the night for Gage Voorhees. Cuz

2:02:41 Mo'ne is coming in the ballgame.

2:02:45 Little League World Series legend, was

2:02:48 on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

2:02:51 And now

2:02:52 is the first female

2:02:55 in the Ban An Ball history to throw for

2:02:57 the Indianapolis Clowns. Obviously, the

2:02:59 Clowns were such a barnstorming bunch

2:03:02 back in their day, the original

2:03:03 Indianapolis Clowns.

2:03:05 They had plenty of females that played

2:03:07 [music] for them. And now Mo'ne here in

2:03:09 Ban An Ball

2:03:10 gets to be the first female who plays

2:03:12 for Ban An Ball's sixth and newest team,

2:03:14 Mo'ne. So far this season, she's seen an

2:03:16 inning, has given up a sprint, has not

2:03:18 given up a run nor a hit yet.

2:03:20 She comes in here [music] with two outs

2:03:21 in the bottom of the sixth facing Zach

2:03:23 Watson.

2:03:32 >> [music]

2:03:35 >> 2 and 0 on Wani.

2:03:37 He's 0 for 2 tonight.

2:03:39 >> [music]

2:03:43 >> 3 and 0 now.

2:03:45 Mo'ne has a really good changeup,

2:03:47 fastball and a slider as well.

2:03:51 That one's off the dish.

2:03:53 Zach Watson on a ball for a sprint.

2:03:56 >> [music]

2:03:57 >> He'll stay put at first. Special weekend

2:03:59 for Wani, by the way.

2:04:02 He

2:04:03 has his entire family here this weekend.

2:04:05 Him and his wife, Jess Watson, actually

2:04:07 call Oklahoma home for a little bit.

2:04:09 Wani obviously originally from Ruston,

2:04:11 Louisiana, but

2:04:13 lived in Oklahoma for a little bit there

2:04:15 in his minor league career.

2:04:16 >> [music]

2:04:17 >> Him and Jason are over there talking

2:04:18 again. Jason coaching first this half.

2:04:21 Mind you, I am my [music] first base

2:04:23 coach. Mo'ne now gets to face Kyle

2:04:25 Martin.

2:04:27 Great job by Chris Burgess to keep that

2:04:29 one in front of him.

2:04:30 >> [music]

2:04:31 >> Chris and K Mart showed each other a

2:04:32 little love.

2:04:35 K Mart still hitless tonight.

2:04:38 Pop out and a fly out this one.

2:04:40 >> [music]

2:04:42 >> What do you think it off?

2:04:43 No throw.

2:04:45 >> [music]

2:04:46 [singing]

2:04:48 >> First stolen base for the Tailgaters

2:04:49 tonight.

2:04:50 >> [music]

2:04:51 >> Kmart

2:04:53 Five.

2:04:55 That's the second time tonight he's hit

2:04:57 one 500 ft,

2:04:59 >> [music]

2:04:59 >> but way right of the pole in right

2:05:01 field.

2:05:03 You see that exhale? He knows he's

2:05:04 around on it.

2:05:12 >> [music]

2:05:13 >> Monet

2:05:14 The 2-1

2:05:16 Misses up.

2:05:18 >> [music]

2:05:19 >> You get a low leverage spot here for

2:05:21 Monet, but obviously not something you

2:05:22 want to unravel. Just trying to get that

2:05:23 final out and give the

2:05:25 Clowns their second win of the ballgame.

2:05:26 Oh my gosh, that's why I'm so thankful

2:05:28 they put these nets up here at these

2:05:30 minor league ballparks back up in 2021

2:05:33 across the country.

2:05:35 Telemaque and Sonny

2:05:39 Payoff pitch from Monet

2:05:41 Kmart Smoked to right center field.

2:05:46 And yet again, we welcome you to our

2:05:49 scheduled programming of the action.

2:05:55 Home run number nine

2:05:57 in the third straight game THIS WEEKEND

2:06:00 THAT KYLE MARTIN HAS WENT YA YA.

2:06:07 >> [music]

2:06:19 >> You know what's funny? That Kyle Martin

2:06:21 [music] told me earlier today

2:06:24 he said, "I haven't been pulling the

2:06:26 ball, Brett.

2:06:28 >> [music]

2:06:28 >> It's been a lot of inside out."

2:06:32 Right there, pulls a home run.

2:06:34 >> [music]

2:06:36 >> And puts two runs on the board here in

2:06:37 the bottom of the sixth.

2:06:39 Eric Eric Fox is trying to ask if Kmart

2:06:42 stepped on home plate.

2:06:43 >> [music]

2:06:45 >> Trying to ask if you can challenge that.

2:06:48 Here comes Jordan Watson, the show

2:06:50 caller.

2:06:51 >> [music]

2:06:53 >> I hate to be a bearer of bad news. It

2:06:57 didn't look like Kmart stepped on plate.

2:07:02 So they will challenge this.

2:07:05 >> [music]

2:07:06 >> Reggie Ligons and our director of

2:07:08 entertainment Jordan Watson are going to

2:07:09 go take a look.

2:07:18 >> [music]

2:07:23 [music]

2:07:26 [singing]

2:07:29 [music]

2:07:30 >> Let's take a look here.

2:07:32 Yeah, the Tailgaters tried to get silly.

2:07:34 Oh, no. His left foot came back [music]

2:07:36 and scrubbed back across.

2:07:38 It looked like right there. Oh, please

2:07:40 tell me it did.

2:07:42 Nope.

2:07:43 No, Kyle Martin did not touch home

2:07:44 plate.

2:07:47 Mhm.

2:07:50 Well,

2:07:52 if there's a lesson to be learned,

2:07:56 it's probably the fact of

2:07:59 uh

2:08:00 maybe we

2:08:02 we don't put somebody on top of home

2:08:03 plate when the runner needs to touch

2:08:04 home plate.

2:08:06 >> [music]

2:08:07 >> Now it's time for our next promo, Oiled

2:08:10 Up.

2:08:11 Sending it down to the field to

2:08:12 Rhinestone.

2:08:22 All righty, Tulsa. It's time we put love

2:08:24 to the test. Joining me down here on the

2:08:26 field, I have Shawn and just over to my

2:08:29 left a little ways is her husband Eric.

2:08:32 It's going to be up to her to pick her

2:08:34 husband blindfolded by feeling the

2:08:36 chests of these three gentlemen.

2:08:39 But here's the thing, we're in Tulsa so

2:08:41 we thought we might as well oil these

2:08:43 chests up. Gentlemen, let's get those

2:08:46 shirts off.

2:08:48 We'll move you over to chest number one.

2:08:54 Nice and oiled up.

2:08:56 Get all in there.

2:08:58 Does that chest feel familiar? I don't

2:09:00 know, you tell me. We'll move a little

2:09:02 bit to your right for chest number two

2:09:04 now.

2:09:06 Get some more oil on that chest in the

2:09:09 hands. There we go. Feel it. Every nook

2:09:13 and cranny, every little chest hair.

2:09:16 Could it be your husband? Who knows?

2:09:19 The final chest.

2:09:22 There we go. Look at all that oil.

2:09:25 Oh my, there seems to be some chemistry.

2:09:28 All righty, Shawn.

2:09:32 Time to pick.

2:09:34 Which man was your husband? One, two, or

2:09:36 three?

2:09:39 All righty, take that blindfold off and

2:09:41 look. NUMBER TWO WAS YOUR HUSBAND! Give

2:09:45 it up one more time for Shawn, Eric, and

2:09:48 oiled up!

2:09:51 >> [music]

2:09:53 >> I have one request to our control room

2:09:54 in Savannah and it's please do not show

2:09:56 a replay of that.

2:09:58 Thank you guys so much. Jaylen Vaskin

2:10:01 setting up down the third baseline.

2:10:04 >> [music]

2:10:06 >> And what does Mr. JV have for us?

2:10:10 1 2

2:10:11 3 4 5 everybody in the car so come on

2:10:14 let's ride to the liquor store around

2:10:17 the corner. The boys [music] say they

2:10:18 want some gin and juice by a little one

2:10:21 up.

2:10:21 Being buzzed like I had last week.

2:10:24 I'm a stay

2:10:44 >> [music]

2:10:50 [music]

2:11:01 [music]

2:11:15 >> Taylor

2:11:16 I've been wondering why you've been

2:11:19 doing Mambo Number 5.

2:11:24 As he sends it in the air left side,

2:11:26 Jordan Barth barehanded bucket.

2:11:28 Trick play number 12.

2:11:33 On the night for the Texas Tailgater.

2:11:35 All right, I was able to work on getting

2:11:37 the official scoring

2:11:39 of what happened in that last half

2:11:41 inning with Kyle Martin.

2:11:43 Ball went over the fence, should be a

2:11:44 home run, doesn't [music] step on home

2:11:46 plate, therefore it's not a home run. So

2:11:48 we'll get to it momentarily. Taylor

2:11:49 Justice another bucket on the evening.

2:11:51 This could be a quick inning. Very

2:11:53 quickly though.

2:11:56 What that is going to be is going to be

2:11:57 RBI triple and an out. So that'll

2:11:59 officially go down one run scored there

2:12:01 in the bottom of the sixth. And then

2:12:03 it'll be a triple and go down as out

2:12:05 number three officially there for Kyle

2:12:07 Martin. So

2:12:08 ninth home run of the year will have to

2:12:09 wait a little bit longer. Kyle Martin

2:12:11 still sitting at eight on the year. Oh,

2:12:13 Knuckles sprays it down the right field

2:12:15 line

2:12:16 Into the crowd and out of play.

2:12:28 Just for clarity, Kahl Martin does not

2:12:30 get credit for that home run, but rather

2:12:32 a triple. Just for those wondering at

2:12:34 home. [music]

2:12:36 Jordan Hussein! Oh, wow!

2:12:39 That took one of the worst hops I've

2:12:41 seen in my entire life and oh, knuckles

2:12:44 with the two out single at first.

2:12:53 How about that? Fischer Polidor.

2:12:57 Who was up here in the booth with us.

2:13:00 Now stands over at first with a single.

2:13:02 Now Bobby La Day gets ahead one and oh.

2:13:11 One one on Bobby.

2:13:14 >> [music]

2:13:15 >> Yet again, Todd continuing to take a

2:13:19 beating back there.

2:13:22 By the way,

2:13:24 that was hitting in the place of Jackie

2:13:26 Bradley Jr.

2:13:28 >> [music]

2:13:28 >> Was Fischer Polidor.

2:13:30 Three and one count.

2:13:37 >> [music]

2:13:37 >> Full count.

2:13:40 First career hit for Fischer as he takes

2:13:42 off on the three two. Does not matter.

2:13:45 And Jonathan Hughes

2:13:48 able to get out of it nonetheless, hang

2:13:49 up a zero here in the top of the

2:13:52 seventh.

2:14:01 Nick Wilson going to come out to the

2:14:02 mound.

2:14:04 And he'll be our new pitcher for the

2:14:05 Indianapolis Clowns. Our pitcher though,

2:14:07 who was able to get out of that last

2:14:08 inning, Mo'ne Davis.

2:14:12 >> [cheering]

2:14:12 >> Wow!

2:14:16 I hear you. How are you, Mo'ne? I'm

2:14:18 doing well. How are you? Oh, I could not

2:14:20 be any better. [cheering]

2:14:21 Uh that was one of the oddest things

2:14:24 I've ever seen happen on a baseball

2:14:26 baseball field, whatever.

2:14:28 Uh explain your viewpoint

2:14:30 >> [cheering]

2:14:30 >> from the mound uh of that final play to

2:14:33 conclude the sixth. So,

2:14:35 I knew I was going to face him somehow

2:14:37 some way. And [cheering] my goal was to

2:14:40 not throw a low and inside fastball, and

2:14:42 that's what happened. And he hit an

2:14:43 absolute [cheering] missile.

2:14:45 But, I did see him hop over the plate,

2:14:47 and I was hoping that uh Burgess behind

2:14:49 the plate was paying attention, and he

2:14:51 was. And now we got him out. So,

2:14:53 in my book that's an out, and I got one

2:14:55 of the best hitters in the league out.

2:14:56 >> Now, I hate to break it to you, you gave

2:14:58 up your first earned run, but did you

2:15:00 [cheering] give You did retire arguably

2:15:02 the best hitter in the sport. Yeah, I

2:15:04 mean, hey, some days you got it, some

2:15:06 days you don't. It's a long season, so

2:15:08 we can get that down. And Mo'ne, you you

2:15:10 officially are were awarded the point

2:15:11 there as well, the point earned. Hey,

2:15:13 I'll take it.

2:15:15 We've got a trick play on us, Curley

2:15:17 Brown.

2:15:18 No, he just has route number one. Mo'ne,

2:15:20 what has the experience been like here

2:15:22 in Tulsa [music] this weekend and being

2:15:23 an Indianapolis Clown as a whole?

2:15:25 Honestly, it's been amazing. I feel like

2:15:27 when we first get out here first day of

2:15:29 games,

2:15:30 um a lot of people don't really know who

2:15:32 we are. There are not many Clown fans.

2:15:34 And then by the end of [music] the

2:15:35 weekend, everyone loves us. So, it's

2:15:37 amazing to be out here. I have a great

2:15:38 group of guys next to me who are just

2:15:41 willing to give me all the support that

2:15:42 I need.

2:15:43 Who's that standing to your left [music]

2:15:45 there? Is that Kobe? Tell Kobe come

2:15:46 here. Hey, come here, Kobe. I want you

2:15:48 to interview Kobe.

2:15:49 >> mic. Okay, I'm going to interview you.

2:15:50 All right. What did you think about Kyle

2:15:52 Martin's missile? Oh.

2:15:57 It's a cheat code.

2:15:59 He is a cheat code. I mean,

2:16:01 he's a good hitter. How would you pitch

2:16:03 to him? I'll Me personally, I'm throwing

2:16:05 fastball. I want you to hit it. Cuz I'm

2:16:07 fastball dominant and I got I just got

2:16:08 confidence in it. In that in that

2:16:10 situation, are you you you got you have

2:16:13 a slider, right? I do. So But in that

2:16:14 situation, you have four runs. You know

2:16:17 how he's been hitting? I get that, yeah.

2:16:18 If it happens, it happens. Hit hit hit

2:16:21 get another out. Boom, you're out of

2:16:22 there. Tell Kobe I was proud of him from

2:16:24 last night.

2:16:26 Brett said he was proud of you from last

2:16:27 night.

2:16:28 >> Brett, tell Brett I'm proud of him for

2:16:30 for for speaking positive of me. [music]

2:16:31 He said he's proud of you.

2:16:32 >> I always always do. I appreciate that.

2:16:35 Why is why did Jackie come out of the

2:16:36 game defensively, Moné? Give us some

2:16:38 investigative reporting.

2:16:41 Is he okay? Is Jackie okay?

2:16:43 >> Are you doing well? Yes, I'm all right.

2:16:45 You had just taken a rest? Yeah, yeah.

2:16:46 Just resting, just resting.

2:16:50 Thank you. Thank you.

2:16:51 >> Jose Brother Gonzalez out to left center

2:16:52 field. Joe Great Jr. now in center

2:16:54 giving us some chase. Brother will hold

2:16:57 up at second with the two out. Double

2:16:59 opportunity now for the Tailgaters

2:17:00 walking off. Moné, it's funny to see

2:17:02 who's all around you.

2:17:04 Go go talk to Knuckles. That was his

2:17:05 first career banana ball hit. Moné

2:17:07 Congrats. I got a hit. Oh, you did get a

2:17:09 hit. And

2:17:10 how do you feel up there? You know, you

2:17:12 came up swinging. You had that great

2:17:13 foul ball. You swing swung and missed.

2:17:16 But then you came back. How did you

2:17:17 feel?

2:17:17 >> I was a little bit behind, but I went

2:17:19 back in time to create a lift in the

2:17:21 dirt so that it would kick up and I

2:17:23 scored MY FIRST EVER BANANA BALL HIT.

2:17:25 HONESTLY, that was a great inning. Thank

2:17:27 you, Moné. Great inning. I'm proud of

2:17:28 you. Keep doing your thing. Thank you so

2:17:30 much.

2:17:31 Any tips? You got any tips for me? Uh

2:17:33 stay true to your heart.

2:17:34 Um stay in school. Talk real nice to

2:17:36 your parents.

2:17:38 There's a foul ball coming over the

2:17:39 wall.

2:17:40 He needs to get out of there. He's we're

2:17:41 protecting you now. I know you got

2:17:42 smoked earlier. Yeah, Moné, are you

2:17:44 okay? That's what I need to know. You

2:17:46 know, I'M DOING FINE NOW.

2:17:48 It definitely did hurt. It hit me right

2:17:50 on the forearm, but you know, I'm from

2:17:51 Philadelphia. That doesn't affect me. I

2:17:54 knew I had to come out here and I had to

2:17:55 to throw. So I was like, you know what?

2:17:57 We're going to be fine. I was a little

2:17:58 bit to the right, but did Kobe Robinson

2:18:00 dodge out of the way of

2:18:02 >> [cheering]

2:18:03 >> It's okay. That's a fine later. That's a

2:18:04 fine.

2:18:05 WOW.

2:18:06 HEY, MO'NE, RUN OUT THERE. GO GET NICK

2:18:08 WILSON. GO GET NICK WILSON. HEY, HEY,

2:18:10 HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY. How does it feel,

2:18:12 Mo'ne? You just got to strike out to end

2:18:13 the inning. How does it feel?

2:18:18 NO, 100%. MO'NE DAVIS, Little League

2:18:20 World Series legend, broadcasting

2:18:22 legend, and a pioneer for women in

2:18:24 baseball across the country. Mo'ne,

2:18:26 thank you so much.

2:18:27 >> Thank you, bro. I appreciate it.

2:18:29 Wow. It's a good at bat inning there for

2:18:31 the Indianapolis Clowns. Nick Wilson

2:18:33 throws up another zero this weekend. And

2:18:35 we got a really good ball game here in

2:18:37 Tulsa, Oklahoma, the rubber match rubber

2:18:39 match between the Clowns and the

2:18:41 Tailgaters tonight.

2:18:46 >> [cheering]

2:18:47 >> Jonathan Hughes

2:18:49 going to throw another frame here for

2:18:50 the Tailgaters.

2:18:53 >> [cheering]

2:18:58 >> What a fun ball game, fun fun for real

2:19:00 ball games.

2:19:01 Really?

2:19:03 that we've seen

2:19:04 here in Tulsa this weekend.

2:19:07 You can just review 4-3 Tailgaters won

2:19:08 on Thursday, game one.

2:19:10 5-3, Jackie Bradley Jr. played here last

2:19:13 night

2:19:14 with a two-run bomb.

2:19:16 And now Bill Francis Jr.

2:19:19 He's having a really good night tonight.

2:19:21 Couple of RBI singles.

2:19:23 >> [cheering]

2:19:24 >> And yet again, Taj takes another piece

2:19:26 of one.

2:19:28 Please.

2:19:29 Please.

2:19:31 What did Taj ever do to these Bananimal?

2:19:35 Why are they abusing him so much?

2:19:40 We welcome all of you that were in

2:19:42 Atlanta to the Texas Tailgaters YouTube

2:19:44 channel.

2:19:46 Two up here in the top of the eighth.

2:19:49 GOT IT.

2:19:51 JONATHAN HUGHES

2:19:52 BIG time pulse check to begin matters.

2:19:58 Doesn't get much easier here, Nico

2:19:59 Hoerner as I know he's over three

2:20:01 tonight.

2:20:02 But he put one in orbit last night, 500

2:20:04 ft I would estimate out to left field.

2:20:07 The ball left the ball park. JORDAN

2:20:08 HUSSEIN,

2:20:11 BUCKET!

2:20:13 FOR OUT NUMBER TWO.

2:20:16 MAKING it even 13 to two, 14 to two.

2:20:19 Pardon me in the trick play.

2:20:23 Tailgaters have gotten 15 trick plays

2:20:25 each.

2:20:27 Thursday night and Friday night, 14 here

2:20:29 again tonight.

2:20:30 I don't know the most trick plays ever

2:20:32 in a three-game series in Savannah

2:20:34 Bananas history.

2:20:35 But 44 has to be close to that. Brian

2:20:38 had another hit

2:20:40 for the Banana Bananas

2:20:43 Is he lead or excuse me, hits a two-out

2:20:45 single here in the eighth.

2:20:53 Thank Monay Davis so much for joining

2:20:55 us. Seventh inning as well. It's been

2:20:57 a bunch of stars here tonight.

2:21:01 In the sky.

2:21:04 Ty is trying to find it.

2:21:12 Tailgaters lead this one three to two

2:21:14 here in the top of the eighth.

2:21:18 They walked it off in the second, the

2:21:20 fourth,

2:21:21 and the fifth.

2:21:22 Clowns won the first and the sixth

2:21:24 [music] innings.

2:21:28 So not a tie ball game if you just

2:21:30 joined us from Atlanta, but three to

2:21:31 two.

2:21:33 >> [music]

2:21:34 >> Ty is hit it out of play.

2:21:41 >> [music]

2:21:45 >> Ty is throws down to second.

2:21:47 Not in time.

2:21:49 And the Banana Bananas championship

2:21:50 league leader, oh no! He came off the

2:21:53 bag. He came off the bag.

2:21:56 >> [music]

2:21:56 >> Wow!

2:21:58 HE STOLE THE BASE, CAME OFF THE BAG,

2:22:01 SUNSHINE KEPT THE TAG APPLIED. THAT'S

2:22:04 BANANA BALL.

2:22:08 THAT'S great by Sunny right there.

2:22:10 Wow!

2:22:14 And now we go to a Tailgater

2:22:17 tradition and Friends in Low Places.

2:22:20 On your feet AND GET THOSE PHONE

2:22:22 FLASHLIGHTS OUT.

2:22:24 We are going to light up THIS TULSA SKY

2:22:27 ALL around the stadium. On your feet

2:22:30 with the flashlights out and we'll ask

2:22:32 you to join US IN SINGING AS LOUD AS YOU

2:22:35 CAN a little Friends in Low Places.

2:23:06 >> [music]

2:23:20 [music and singing]

2:23:22 >> Let me hear you!

2:23:30 >> [music]

2:23:40 [music]

2:23:46 [music and singing]

2:23:48 >> always

2:23:52 >> [music]

2:24:06 >> Happy Saturday night from Tulsa,

2:24:09 Oklahoma.

2:24:11 Whether you've been in Wichita, Atlanta

2:24:13 virtually, whether you're in Wichita,

2:24:15 Atlanta in all reality.

2:24:17 We thank you so much for joining us

2:24:19 virtually on the Tailgaters YouTube

2:24:20 channel.

2:24:21 As the boys in blue and orange lead the

2:24:23 Indianapolis Clowns 3 to 2

2:24:25 here in now the bottom of the eighth

2:24:29 in a rubber match with Nick Wilson who's

2:24:32 now in his second inning of work.

2:24:36 14 strikeouts [laughter]

2:24:38 on the year entering tonight.

2:24:40 Making it even 16 after he struck out

2:24:42 [music] Taylor Justice and Mac Danford

2:24:43 in the seventh.

2:24:45 While we had Mo'ne Davis on the

2:24:46 microphone.

2:24:50 As now

2:24:56 You just heard Ryan Stone announce him.

2:24:59 Sunny is rolling up to the dish on his

2:25:01 unicycle.

2:25:04 As he's hitting in the spot of Taj

2:25:06 Porter here.

2:25:07 8 9 and 10 in Tailgaters order.

2:25:10 With how it's lined up here, [music] I

2:25:11 wouldn't be surprised if we see excuse

2:25:14 me see Sunshine on the unicycle, Indiana

2:25:16 Stanley and then a golden batter for

2:25:18 Jordan Hussein in the 10 hole. It just

2:25:20 seems like it always works out that way

2:25:22 here in this eighth inning for the

2:25:23 Tailgaters.

2:25:27 Only need one run to walk the setting

2:25:29 off and put yourself in the driver's

2:25:31 seat at 4 to 2. Hit up the middle. Bobby

2:25:33 LaFromboise!

2:25:35 Out number one.

2:25:39 Would you believe it if I told you

2:25:41 Sunshine is still four for seven on the

2:25:43 unicycle this year?

2:25:48 I mean,

2:25:50 he's hit over 500 on the unicycle this

2:25:51 year. OBP is over 600, almost 700 this

2:25:55 year, Indiana standard.

2:25:59 Up the elevator shoot and tails behind

2:26:01 us, out of play. [music]

2:26:04 >> [singing]

2:26:06 >> Indy hadn't recorded an at bat yet. A

2:26:08 ball for a strike [music] and a sac fly

2:26:09 for RBI.

2:26:11 Again, up the elevator shaft and out of

2:26:13 play behind it.

2:26:15 Oh, wow.

2:26:16 Legitimately, hit off the roof that is

2:26:19 protecting me. Roof's not here, I'm

2:26:20 getting hit right in the noggin.

2:26:26 >> [music]

2:26:29 >> Wow.

2:26:30 Same thing.

2:26:32 Same [laughter] thing.

2:26:34 Indy's on it right now. Nick Wilson

2:26:37 throws [music] a pretty stiff fastball,

2:26:38 anywhere from 89 to 93 mph.

2:26:42 Got him right there with the wipeout

2:26:43 slider. Third strike out of the outing

2:26:46 for Mr. Wilson, [music] and out number

2:26:48 two as he's fired up.

2:26:51 The Tailgaters gathering around their

2:26:53 dugout. Rhinestone has a microphone, and

2:26:56 there's a man with a golden robe on.

2:26:59 I bet I can imagine who it is.

2:27:06 The Texas Tailgaters are invoking the

2:27:08 golden power rule. NOW BATTING IN THE

2:27:12 PLACE OF JORDAN HUSSEIN IS THE

2:27:14 TAILGATERS GOLDEN BATTER. PLEASE WELCOME

2:27:18 KYLE KMART

2:27:21 MARTE.

2:27:25 For a league-leading

2:27:27 eighth time this year,

2:27:30 the Auction

2:27:32 dons a golden helmet.

2:27:37 Kyle Marte

2:27:39 with one swing of the bat [music]

2:27:42 could give the Tailgaters a four to two

2:27:43 lead. That is if he steps on home plate

2:27:45 this [music] time.

2:27:46 Did not step on home plate

2:27:48 after he hit two-run homer

2:27:50 in the sixth inning

2:27:51 that would later just be an RBI triple

2:27:54 and an out.

2:27:58 Wow, Seth Markham makes a great diving

2:28:01 grab down there.

2:28:03 First base umpire

2:28:05 Nick Wilson, no balls and two strikes.

2:28:08 Beach Daddy's excited.

2:28:10 >> [music]

2:28:11 >> Mhm.

2:28:13 Wow.

2:28:14 Might have got a fan down the first base

2:28:16 line. I believe it did.

2:28:24 >> [music]

2:28:24 >> Clowns and Tailgaters are running up

2:28:25 into the crowd here.

2:28:28 Mhm.

2:28:30 I'm not exactly I didn't see exactly

2:28:32 where the ball went, but there seems to

2:28:33 be some concern that concern down this

2:28:36 first base line.

2:28:38 >> [music]

2:28:44 [music]

2:28:46 >> Yeah, you see David Griffin over there,

2:28:47 Brett Allen.

2:28:52 >> [music]

2:28:53 >> Brandon, the host of the Indianapolis

2:28:54 Clowns.

2:28:59 Mhm.

2:29:04 Really hope

2:29:06 whomever was struck by that foul ball is

2:29:08 okay.

2:29:16 I mean, obviously something that you

2:29:17 never want to see

2:29:20 but obviously you cannot control.

2:29:29 A hush just fell over the field and

2:29:32 concern from all the Tailgaters and

2:29:34 Clowns is looks like that fan

2:29:37 >> [cheering]

2:29:39 >> back up on their feet.

2:29:41 That's exactly what we want to see. As

2:29:43 yes, she was struck in the ear.

2:29:47 See that? She pointed out it in the ear

2:29:48 below the neck and she's all good.

2:29:50 Happy to see that. The 0-2, GOT HIM!

2:29:55 FASTBALL, NICK WILSON, back-to-back

2:29:59 >> [music]

2:30:00 >> zeros

2:30:03 in the seventh and eighth inning.

2:30:06 And we roll on to the ninth. Tailgaters

2:30:08 still with the lead though, three to

2:30:09 two. Ryan Stone, tell us about those

2:30:11 ninth inning rules.

2:30:12 You will see that your Tailgaters

2:30:14 currently lead this game three points to

2:30:17 two. But here's the thing about the

2:30:19 final inning. Every run here will count

2:30:23 for a point, which means the

2:30:25 Indianapolis Clowns are as dangerous as

2:30:28 ever. But your TAILGATERS NEED JUST

2:30:31 THREE OUTS TO WIN THE GAME right here.

2:30:34 TULSA, THE STAKES HAVE NEVER BEEN

2:30:37 HIGHER. WELCOME TO THE FINAL

2:30:47 TULSA, OKLAHOMA.

2:30:50 THE CLOSER FOR THE TEXAS TAILGATERS FROM

2:30:54 TAIT TEXAS, number 22,

2:30:58 Reese

2:31:00 McGuire.

2:31:00 >> [screaming]

2:31:02 [groaning]

2:31:06 >> Sometimes

2:31:08 it's not about how hard you get hit.

2:31:13 It's about how you can get hit and keep

2:31:15 moving forward.

2:31:17 That man right there, Reese McGuire,

2:31:19 was struck pretty hard last night.

2:31:22 Came in in a tie ballgame at 3-3.

2:31:26 Gave up a two-run golden bat home run to

2:31:28 Jackie Bradley Jr.

2:31:30 And unfortunately sustaining the loss

2:31:32 here for the Texas Tailgaters.

2:31:34 However,

2:31:37 life's all about riding your role.

2:31:40 And tonight,

2:31:41 >> [music]

2:31:41 >> the Texas Tailgaters closer

2:31:43 is going to have an opportunity to do

2:31:45 just so.

2:31:46 Appearing now

2:31:48 in all three of the ball games this

2:31:50 weekend for the Tailgaters. He was the

2:31:51 man who earned the win Thursday night in

2:31:53 the game one victory.

2:31:55 Earned the loss last night. Here this

2:31:57 evening,

2:31:58 if he can hold on to this three to two

2:32:00 lead for the boys in blue and orange,

2:32:02 would he get save number five on the

2:32:04 year?

2:32:07 Chris Burgess, Eli Peyton, and Brian

2:32:09 Dancer all do him.

2:32:12 I would have to surmise

2:32:14 that there would be a golden batter

2:32:16 somewhere in that span.

2:32:21 This is big.

2:32:22 Tailgaters trying to get to win number

2:32:24 nine. Clowns trying to move closer and

2:32:26 closer to 500 and closer to that top

2:32:28 four

2:32:29 >> [music]

2:32:30 >> to earn themselves a birth in the Banana

2:32:32 Ball playoffs in October.

2:32:35 Clowns also trying to win their first

2:32:37 ever three game series in their Banana

2:32:39 Ball history.

2:32:44 Oh and one. For that matter, the

2:32:46 Tailgaters are trying to win their first

2:32:48 ever three game series in their young

2:32:49 history.

2:32:52 >> [music]

2:32:53 >> Chris Burgess

2:32:55 out to left.

2:32:56 Zack Watson out number one.

2:33:04 This is just the third three game series

2:33:07 in history of the Texas Tailgaters. They

2:33:09 were swept in Reno, Nevada in 2025 by

2:33:11 the Party Animals in a long three game

2:33:13 series last year.

2:33:16 Two to one in Amarillo early this year.

2:33:18 The Coconuts took that series.

2:33:20 Two outs away from taking this one from

2:33:22 the Clowns. Eli Payton, fouled.

2:33:24 >> [cheering]

2:33:26 >> Eli's had a special weekend.

2:33:28 Hit for the cycle

2:33:30 Thursday night. Added two more hits to

2:33:32 his resume last night. Has an RBI single

2:33:35 here in game three.

2:33:36 The 0-1.

2:33:49 Left side. JORDAN HOUSSAIN!

2:33:53 BUCKETS!

2:33:56 Three straight nights with 15 trick

2:33:58 plays for the Texas Tailgaters. And with

2:34:00 only one out away, the Clowns choose to

2:34:03 use their golden batter.

2:34:06 The Indianapolis Clowns are invoking the

2:34:09 golden batter rule.

2:34:11 Stepping in for Brian Dancero IS YOUR

2:34:14 GOLDEN BATTER, JOE GRAY [screaming]

2:34:17 JR.!

2:34:23 THE PRIDE OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI,

2:34:27 gets called upon in the biggest moment

2:34:30 of the weekend.

2:34:32 Joe Gray Jr.

2:34:43 He's ahead 1 and 0.

2:34:45 Cowboy Joe's 1 for 4 tonight with a

2:34:47 double.

2:34:54 Hits it in the sky. Jordan Houssain!

2:34:58 And that will end the ball game!

2:35:00 The Texas Tailgaters win it 3 to 2 in a

2:35:04 minute AND 32 SECOND INNING TO WIN IT

2:35:06 from Reese Miller as he gets save number

2:35:09 five in 2026.

2:35:13 The first ever three game series win for

2:35:15 the Tailgaters.

2:35:17 AND 10 WINS IN 2026.

2:35:20 THERE'S SO MANY REASONS for the boys

2:35:22 today to add a little bit.

2:35:43 >> [music]

2:35:53 [cheering]

2:36:00 [cheering]

2:36:04 >> Back to 10 and 9 on the year.

2:36:07 The Texas Tailgaters, how poetic is

2:36:10 their first headliner series

2:36:13 in a state that is not Texas, here in

2:36:16 Tulsa, Oklahoma.

2:36:17 They defeated team, the Indianapolis

2:36:19 Clowns.

2:36:22 In this place where the Negro Leagues

2:36:24 had such a presence back in the day, the

2:36:26 T-Town Clowns. A semi-professional Negro

2:36:28 League team who was in Tulsa, northern

2:36:31 Tulsa, Tulsa, excuse me, for 20 seasons.

2:36:35 And a special weekend all around for

2:36:36 Bananaland as the Tailgaters able to win

2:36:39 the series and win the ballgame here

2:36:41 tonight.

2:36:42 As our Showman of the Game is down here

2:36:45 with Matty Walsh.

2:36:47 Jose uh Brother Gonzalez. Now, I want to

2:36:49 start because we'll get to the stats in

2:36:51 a little bit. But, this smile and this

2:36:53 personality and this energy feels like

2:36:55 the reason this game ended the way it

2:36:57 did. You were

2:36:59 hootin' and hollerin' on your way out to

2:37:00 the field in that last inning. Where

2:37:02 does that energy come from? I mean, it

2:37:04 really just comes from the love of the

2:37:05 team, you know? We all love each other

2:37:07 and we pull for each other and every day

2:37:09 we come to the field it's a good day.

2:37:11 So.

2:37:12 In the In In the game of Banana Ball,

2:37:14 obviously, a lot of runs can go up in an

2:37:16 inning. They end up with one point. How

2:37:18 do you guys continue to bounce back from

2:37:20 those innings with your offense in

2:37:21 response?

2:37:22 >> Well, we know, especially with our

2:37:24 offense and our team one through nine

2:37:25 and even the guys off the bench, I mean,

2:37:27 everyone can get it done. It's just

2:37:28 whoever feels like Skip feels like and

2:37:31 is really good at that day, you know. We

2:37:32 all know we can do it. So, we trust each

2:37:34 other. This is my first weekend with you

2:37:36 guys and the culture on this team is

2:37:38 absolutely unmatched. So, I'm going to

2:37:40 shine a little bit of a light on Taj

2:37:41 Porter and I want you to talk about him

2:37:43 a little bit. Took a little bit of a

2:37:44 beating behind the plate today, but what

2:37:46 does that say about what he's willing to

2:37:47 give to this team in his third game

2:37:49 catching this weekend?

2:37:50 >> I mean, I I think it just it goes to

2:37:51 show his his his leadership role on this

2:37:54 team. I mean, he's one of the few guys

2:37:55 that have been on multiple teams. Well,

2:37:57 this Tailgaters and the Party Animals

2:37:59 and he's really helped me personally

2:38:01 transition from baseball to Banana Ball

2:38:03 and I think that's why so many of our

2:38:05 new guys are coming in rolling because

2:38:07 we got great leaders like Taj Porter and

2:38:09 Jordan Hussein.

2:38:10 All right, so now this is going to be a

2:38:11 tough question, but it came from a kid

2:38:12 in Banana Ball backstage. I swear. He's

2:38:14 His name is Slate. He's nine. Who is

2:38:17 your favorite Banana Ball player?

2:38:18 >> Ooh.

2:38:22 I'm going to go Bill Leroy. I love you,

2:38:23 Bill.

2:38:24 Let's go. Bill Leroy, it's hard not to

2:38:26 like the guy. So,

2:38:28 Texas Takeover Take Texas Takeover of

2:38:31 Oklahoma this weekend, yeah? Oh, yeah,

2:38:33 you know it. Come on. Texas to you.

2:38:35 Brett,

2:38:36 that's a Texas Tailgater series win

2:38:38 right there.

2:38:39 Ain't no love in Oklahoma unless you're

2:38:42 the Texas Tailgaters, in which we love

2:38:44 both Texas and Oklahoma. Jose Brother

2:38:46 Gonzales, the pride of Spring, Texas,

2:38:49 the showman of the ball game tonight, a

2:38:51 single and a double from Brother. And

2:38:54 again, it was really a night that was a

2:38:56 conglomerate, a group effort, if you

2:38:58 will. I don't think you could pin it on

2:39:00 one guy who necessarily the showman of

2:39:02 the game was, but Brother definitely had

2:39:03 another stellar night here tonight and

2:39:05 has really had a great great rookie

2:39:07 campaign. As we look at our final line

2:39:09 score of the ballgame here tonight, you

2:39:11 see the trick plays again, 15 to two. As

2:39:15 Jordan saying out another one at the end

2:39:17 of that ballgame. Oh,

2:39:18 there we go.

2:39:20 Brother two for three on the night,

2:39:21 scored two runs.

2:39:23 Uh lower [music] scoring game that we've

2:39:24 seen. Only 10 combined runs tonight. You

2:39:26 see 10 runs in each of the last two

2:39:27 nights from the Indianapolis Clowns. But

2:39:29 a three to two ballgame in the points

2:39:30 [music] category, and that's all that

2:39:32 matters as the Tailgaters take the

2:39:34 series here in Tulsa. Come on on back in

2:39:37 the booth and stay for a little bit

2:39:39 longer here from One Oak Field in Tulsa,

2:39:42 Oklahoma. Wonderful host here. I'm so

2:39:44 happy it was first time the Animal had

2:39:46 been here since 2023

2:39:49 when challenges were established between

2:39:51 the Bananas and the Party Animals due a

2:39:53 call that happened in showdowns between

2:39:54 Eric Jones Jr. and Vincent Chapman. And

2:39:56 then here here tonight, what about a

2:39:59 little bit of Animal history that'll

2:40:00 make it in the blooper reel. Kyle Martin

2:40:02 hit what we thought at the time was his

2:40:04 ninth homer of the year. I say we

2:40:05 thought. It goes over the fence, comes

2:40:07 home, doesn't step on home plate. So

2:40:09 officially it'll go down as a triple and

2:40:12 an RBI triple and an out. So still Kyle

2:40:15 Martin with just eight home runs. Yeah,

2:40:17 just eight. He still leads the Animal

2:40:18 Championship League. So some funny

2:40:20 Animal moments and perhaps Animal

2:40:23 altering moments happening here in

2:40:25 Tulsa. Special weekend again, we

2:40:27 mentioned the Clowns and and the history

2:40:29 of the T-Town Clowns getting return

2:40:31 here. That brand and what what the

2:40:32 Indianapolis Clowns brand means here to

2:40:35 Oklahoma. And then on the other end, the

2:40:37 Tailgaters getting to return here.

2:40:40 Excuse me, getting to come here
